Hi there, Frieza!!
I'm a researcher writing a book about the ins and outs of Icejin Culture. Seeing as you're one of the few left, I need your assistance.
What are some rarely known facts about your species? Customs? Taboos? Preferences?
Give as much information as you're comfortable with.
Thank you,

Nosy, nosy. Hoho...
Fine, I'll bite. Do keep in mind that some of this was learned secondhand-- despite holding the throne I prefer to focus on the business side of things and don't spend much time on my planet of origin. Further still, I prefer not to associate myself with the species at large, bearing my mutations and abject superiority in mind. As the prince of that sad lot, though, I'm obviously the most relevant person to ask. Forgive me if I ramble; I'll put it under a cut in post.
Now, let's see. 'Customs' could range anywhere from religion to breakfast preferences. I'll cover some of the ground in between, but I'm not going to type an essay for you. If you want more than what I give, send another message, and be more specific.
To begin with, the species has many names, as I've mentioned before. Here are some of the ones I've encountered in my travels:
Icejin (Most common.)
Arcosian (Scientifically accurate.)
Frost Demon (Fond of this one.)
Glaesar (Less common. Very formal usage.)
Polarite (Rarely used. Probably archaic.)
Suliform (I believe this is derived from 'Arcosulite', the unique mineral found in biogem shells.)
Changeling (Obvious origin.)
Culturally, the most prominent keystones are these--eloquence, formality, education, competition, and achievement. It's considered very rude to speak casually to someone with whom you are not close; you may think an individual is gibbering mad when he addresses you in riddles and tongues, but that's only because the general population is staggeringly naive. You must learn to read a room, and to never trust someone at first glance.
Or at first reading. Heh. I hope you've not been taking everything I say here at face value.
Children learn early on the importance of social hierarchy. Climbing it came naturally to me, but I've seen how the proletariat scrabble over each other with such thinly-veiled desperation. Resources are scarce on the home planet, after all; that is, I believe, why we became such competent spacefarers in the first place. Arcos is an inhospitable world. The few times I've visited it's been out of obligation to appeal to those remaining (mostly the elderly, infirm, or very young; nobody stays there long). I can't have them forgetting about their Prince, after all.
Ah, here's a fun fact--the point on Kuriza's head is a vestigial egg tooth. I only learned this after he was born; I'd no idea what the thing was for until I asked around. It's cute, isn't it? Evidently ovoviviparity only became the norm a couple of generations prior, and before that the egg would remain intact until a few hours afterward...
Hm. Let me think of more. I'll only bother with the interesting ones.
-Makeup denotes status. A nobleperson appearing without a full face of makeup in public is grounds for a legitimate scandal.
-It's possible to approximate a person's power level by their biogem color. The closer to violet, the stronger they are. Something, something, life energy -> radiation -> light frequency, something, something. It's also possible for gem color to change over time... infants and toddlers typically have duller, redder colors. Yours truly was the first person in recorded history to be born with purple gems. ;)
-Being relatively long-lived as we are, our written histories are frustratingly sparse. My father amassed quite a collection, though.
I could go on, but I have other things to do. That should satisfy for now.
Ah, but here’s one more for the road…
Something many people assume is that I'm entirely nude in my final form--untrue. There’s a thin layer of protective, flexible armor over the skin of important nerve clusters; the area you've all been so doggedly curious about parts during intimacy. I hope that clears things up. Now stop asking.

Have you heard the rumors that Mundie used to be a toon before becoming a cog?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
we kinda had a talk about it back before we were hired by cogs.. he was really upset and i was really worried about him.. he thought i wasnt gonna accept him because he was a toon
Tumblr media
he cried so much that night.. and i told him honestly and i still stand by it even today. it doesnt matter if he was a toon once, or that hes a suit now.. hes the only person who’s shown me any kind of compassion since i gained consciousness. hes the only one who protected me, or showed me it doesnt matter how physically beyond repair i am, that i am still worth effort..
Tumblr media
it was a weird night because we talked about so much.. in the end we came out a family and havent really gone back since. i wouldnt trade mundie for anything in the whole wide world

Lately, I've seen several Naekawa fanfics and it got me thinking: what makes them an interesting ship?
XDDD Sure. Keep in mind this is the only question I'll be answering from you for a few months. I'm going to stop responding to rapid-fire questions from the same source back to back once I answer. With that out the way, here are some examples of the glory of.....
Naekawa!
Tumblr media
Let's begin with complementary personalities: Makoto and Toko have very different personalities, which can often make for a good romantic match. Makoto is kind, optimistic, and always willing to see the best in people, while Toko is more reserved, critical, and self-conscious. They balance each other out well, with Makoto bringing out Toko's softer side and Toko providing some much-needed criticism and grounding for Makoto and standing up for him when someone tries to take advantage of him.
They also have shared experiences: Makoto and Toko have both been through a lot together being in the same class or if you're not a fan of the Hope Universe, the Canonical events of Danganronpa THH. They've seen each other at their best and worst, and have a deep understanding of what the other has been through. This kind of shared experience can often create a strong bond between people and Makoto has the patience and care to deal with Toko's insecurities.
One of the most important aspects is mutual respect: While they don't always get along perfectly, Makoto and Toko do seem to have a deep respect for each other. They may not always agree on things, but they are willing to listen to each other's opinions and take them seriously. This kind of mutual respect can is a strong foundation for a romantic relationship.
Also, Makoto is able to bond with JILL as well. He would understand Toko's history and condition and be able to communicate and love both of them equally. When I advocate for NaeKawa it's not just Makoto x Toko but rather Makoto x Toko/Jill. They're a package that comes together with completely different dynamics that Makoto can make work as a couple. Let's look at why Makoto x Jill can work as well.
Tumblr media
Unpredictability: One of the most intriguing things about Genocide Jill is that she is highly unpredictable. She is impulsive, violent, and has a tendency to do the unexpected. Makoto, on the other hand, is more cautious and logical. While this might seem like a recipe for disaster, it makes for a highly dynamic and exciting romantic relationship~ Makoto usually helps temper Jill and curb her impulses while Jill helps Makoto cut loose when he's stressed
Mutual understanding: Despite their differences, Makoto and Genocide Jill do seem to have a certain level of understanding between them. Makoto is one of the few people who can communicate with Toko when she is in her Genocide Jill persona, and he has shown that he cares about her well-being. Genocide Jill, for her part, seems to be drawn to Makoto's kindness and compassion. However, I think what a lot of people keep missing is the most important factor of all besides treating Jill/Toko as an equal is that:
Makoto isn't abusive or dismissive of both of them like Byakuya
Tumblr media
Makoto would provide support and encouragement: Makoto is a naturally supportive and encouraging person, and he would likely be very good at helping Toko overcome her self-doubt and anxiety. He could provide a safe and reassuring presence for her, and help her to see the best in herself. Don't forget that the egg would also stop Jill from committing murders (with some extra help from trained professionals like Kokoro) and get both Toko and Jill to be comfortable with each other. He would be the metaphorical bridge to have Jill and Toko truly embrace each other. Also, Toko would take far better care of herself since she's in a healthy loving relationship and would try to better herself as Makoto does the same for Toko.
Don't forget about possible Intellectual stimulation: Toko is a highly intelligent and analytical person, and Makoto is also quite smart in his own right. They could engage in stimulating conversations and debates, challenging each other's ideas and helping each other to grow intellectually even to the point I could see the egg being a major influence for future protagonists in Toko's stories!
The egg also would have some shared interests: While they have very different personalities, Makoto and Toko do share some common interests. They both enjoy reading, for example, (Although Toko would never admit that Makoto was right about manga being decent of course.), and could bond over their shared love of books including her own books and authors they both love. They could also work together to solve mysteries and puzzles, which is something they both enjoy~
Don't forget the emotional intimacy: While they might not be the most physically affectionate couple (Which is something Jill easily fixes.....Okay. Yes Let's be real. Toko would totally be trying to do things with the egg in public so he has to curb her....desires until they are privately alone), Makoto and Toko would have a very strong emotional bond. They could share their deepest fears, hopes, and dreams with each other, and provide a safe space for each other to be vulnerable. Toko needs someone who can love and most importantly RESPECT her and be understanding and accepting. All the boxes the egg ticks.
Tumblr media
And to hammer on the final points for NaeJill working: We must not forget how the egg has so much acceptance and understanding: Makoto is a HIGHLY accepting and understanding person, and he would likely be able to see past Genocide Jill's violent tendencies and accept her for who she is (This of course goes for others like Maki, Junko, Peko, Natsumi, Kanade, etc) Jill being able to overcome her violent tendencies is largely due to wanting to be better for Makoto and, she would likely be grateful for Makoto's acceptance and understanding. He doesn't JUDGE her and is willing to help her deal with her trauma.
They also surprisingly have complementary strengths: The egg and Jill have very different strengths and weaknesses, and this actually works in their favor. Makoto is good at thinking things through logically, while Jill is highly intuitive and spontaneous. Together, they are a highly effective team, complementing each other's strengths and weaknesses. Also, it helps to have a super-powered former serial killer as a wife to punish any goon who thinks they can push her hubby around.
Oh boy....well there's no getting around the passion and excitement: One of the most appealing things about Jill is her extreme passion and intensity. When she's able to channel this energy in a positive direction, she brings a lot of excitement and joy to Makoto's life. They frequently engage in highly spontaneous and thrilling activities, and keep the spark of their relationship alive....Also that tongue. Yeah. XD
Believe it or not, there's also the emotional support: Despite her violent tendencies, Jill is a highly emotional person and this is something I noticed a lot of people don't seem to pick up on and how huge it is for these two working out. After Jill is able to overcome her violent tendencies, she provides a lot of emotional support for Makoto. She is a shoulder to cry on when he's feeling down, and provides a source of strength and encouragement when he needs it most. And Makoto is this beacon of warmth and light that constantly guides Jill to be better and to never stray off the path. Jill is able to express herself far better and become more than an addition to Toko.
Last but not least is growth and self-improvement: Jill being able to overcome her violent tendencies, isa major achievement for her! This kind of personal growth and self-improvement is frankly a MAJOR point of connection between her and Makoto. They both support each other in their efforts to be the best versions of themselves, and provide a source of motivation and encouragement for each other as I mentioned earlier.
And to top it off....FAMILY PICTURES WITH YUKINO NAEGI (Toko/Jill daughter with the egg)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes. Naekawa is popular for a reason. I hope all of you who had the patience to read through all of this can see my incredible passion for this pairing~ It's definitely up there NaeSeiko, NaeAngie, NaeKirumi, and NaeKokoro for me!
Toko definitely deserves someone who truly loves her and is willing to help her become better. I cannot speak on the Byakuya x Toko shippers and I have no beef or qualms with them since it's all just preference at the end of the day but as a dedicated Naekawa supporter, I hope you all if you're not able to still be sold on it, at least understand why others do.

If people aren't comfortable reblogging fics to their blog (which I am not, due to a personal history of being doxxed and humiliated to my irl friends and family), are comments sufficient enough engagement or would you rather that reader not engage with your work at all?
I feel like that came out sounding passive aggressive but I truly mean it as a genuine question and am just not sure how to rework it to sound less snarky! I see this discourse on and off from different fic writers and respect both opinions and think everyone should be able to curate interaction with their fics as they see fit.
Hi, anon.
I've been thinking carefully on how to respond to this. I can tell you're not trying to come off as snarky– which i say as someone who can't read tone for shit most of the time and whose own tone can come off aggressive or bitchy when I don't mean it to be.
I'm gonna address your ask as thoroughly as I can, if that's cool. Sorry if it's a long response. I'll put a cut in so I don't interrupt feeds ✂️
First, I want to pose a question to your question, which I mean genuinely with no spite whatsoever: why are you on Tumblr if you're not reblogging or don't even reblog?
As I've stated in other replies to the post I made a few weeks back, from the way I see it, Tumblr is literally built upon the foundation of sharing creations and content. There is no dead-set algorithm here like there is for Instagram or TikTok. Sharing is, quite fucking literally, caring here. We are able to form communities of all sizes because we share things. Reblogging is essential to the upkeep, and quite frankly the existence, of fandom and communities. Without sharing, our communities crumble and become ruins. We are actively seeing this as we speak: many mutuals and authors I follow are starting to quit writing due to passive, demanding consumption patterns and 0 engagement.
I know you probably know this, but I thought I'd restate it for answer's sake.
To answer the meat of your ask, I will pull from both personal experience and mutuals' experiences and input.
In my own personal opinion, if you are solely commenting on fics and are not engaging in anything else (no likes, no reblogs, etc.) then I personally think that Tumblr is not the site you should be on and, frankly, you should go sign up for AO3 if that's all you're going to do.
And I mean this earnestly. If all you want to do for engagement is commenting, then AO3 needs you because sharing does NOT affect authors nearly as much over there as it does here. In fact comments on AO3 are the literal equivalent to reblog on Tumblr: we don't get any and when we do it's like finding an oasis in a never ending desert.
Now in terms of what mutuals and other authors have said on the matter, it seems the consensus is that commenting without reblogging is a case-by-case basis. I'm going to quote a mutual of mine here:
"...if someone is commenting on my work but not reblogging… I'd say it's case by case. If it's just MY fics they aren’t reblogging, then it'd be a problem, but if they don’t reblog ANY [fics] I'd be more okay."
Another mutuals also put it this way:
"... I feel like there *is* both sides in this sense; yes comments are nice and engaging even though they aren't the preferred and most helpful way to boost writers..."
I feel like both of them put it into words where I struggled to. I will also say that I do agree with the point being that if you're not gonna reblog ANYTHING– no art, no content, no photos, no other fics, nothing– AND your profile adheres to the guidelines set forth in basic Tumblr etiquette (not looking like a bot and not a minor) then sure, comment away.
The verdict, in summary with my opinion and mutuals': it depends on your behavior and your interactions with other works and content.
I hate the word content but I couldn't think of another one.
But, my question still stands: why are you on Tumblr when you don't even participate in the basic fundamental function of this site?
I also wanted to take the time to address the other part of your ask regarding the doxxing and people finding out your identity.
It has been very widely known for (close to) two decades now that Tumblr is the place where you can have an anonymous identity. Truly. I've been on here for the collective half of the last decade and have been on the Internet for a little more than half my life, now, and Tumblr and fandom are literally the biggest and best places where you can be someone else. You can be completely anonymous.
The common denominator, however, is you.
The amount of information you have on your blog is what you choose to put on it. If you state your real name, your state and city, have one of those (imo stupid) carrd things or whatever, then honey– and I mean this in the nicest way possible, truly– that is on you. I know for a fact (from good and bad experiences) that you have all of the power in the world to annonymize yourself while still maintaining yourself on the Internet. That make sense?
A couple of mutuals made very excellent points regarding this:
"...I have a best friend irl who has Tumblr and is so close to the fandoms I'm in, and she doesn't know I write here. I am anonymous on here. I'm suprised she hasnt connected the dots because my aesthetics are the same in real life..."
"...I personally think its pretty easy to be anonymous on tumblr. Especially since usually all we ask is you have that you aren’t a minor at the top of your blog..."
"...it's really easy to be anonymous on the internet [...] you can be an ENTIRELY different person on the internet..."
From that last mutual, I'll paraphrase and go off of another point they made: the fact that you do want to participate and comment negates your ENTIRE arguement because someone– anyone– can find you and your blog through said comment(s).
Your digital footprint is what you leave behind. So if you have your city and state and grade and real name and all this other shit in your blog or carrd or whatever, then you are the only one who is responsible for having put said information out there.
Hell, I've been mutuals with some people going on 2-3 YEARS at this point and the only other things they know about me is my state, general city vicinity, my cat, and what I do for a living. That's it. And we span from early twenties to married with a kid or two.
We are in charge of what we share and I implore you– as someone with a certification in legal information technology– to please educate yourself on your Internet privacy and digital footprint. Please take the time to think about your actions and the information you have online. I STILL do this to this day, even after getting certified and being on the Internet for half my life.
I am sorry that you've gotten doxxed in the past. Truly, I am. It's a horrible act and I hope you never have to experience that again. Please know I am not being dismissive of that nor trying to blame you for said acts.
But it all comes down to you at the end of the day. In general, it's you, your actions, and the consequences of your actions. And if you happen to be a minor, then I strongly urge you to rethink your decisions and maybe step away from social media and utilize critical thinking in order to asses your situation and who you surround yourself with, both online and offline. I wish I had someone to tell me that when I was 14– fuck, even when I was 18.
And I mean it when I say AO3 might suit you more than Tumblr. If any fandom site has more capabilities to be anonymous than Tumblr itself, it's AO3.
Anyways, I think that's all I have to say for you. My DMs and ask box are always open and I am open to more commentary on the matter and related ones so long as it is civil and respectful. I refuse to stop having this conversation.
Thank you for listening ❤️

how many wips do you have going at any given time? i work full time, and i only get weekends to do fan art.. so i told myself that no matter how many idea sketches i had, i would only work on one piece of art at a time and not start another until its done! this means i don't put out work too regularly lol.. so just curious as to how other artists that do art full time work! :D
Hi Anon!
Thank you so much for your question, I’m more than happy to share my experiences with WIPs!
First I organize my sketches and WIPs into folders based on what they’re for: zines, personal work, commissions, etc
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Some of these canvases are just sketches that *may* turn into full illustrations but most of them are WIPs. I didn’t include my commission or other zine folders, which brings the number up a lil’ more!
I tend to bounce around WIPs based on when they’re due. First I’d warm up with a limited palette challenge, then I’d work on some line art, followed by adding flats to another piece. Then I’d sketch out some more ideas and add on to the ever-growing WIP pile.
During Linktober, or when it’s close to a certain deadline, that’s when I’ll focus on one piece until it’s finished. Like I said before, usually I’d bounce around and take breaks in between stages. That helps me take a step back and see the piece with fresh eyes at a later time.
One piece took me a whole year to complete! Thankfully it was a personal, original illustration so I was my own client 🫣 During that long break I learned a lot more about color, painting techniques, etc, so I was pretty happy with how it turned out even though it took a while!
That being said, this is how I approach full illustrations with background, lighting, rendering, the whole pie. If you notice painting is taking a while, then try including some shortcuts in your process! For example, using the lasso tool to color wider spaces, coloring in grayscale, and then using Gradient map on top help loads with digital art. With traditional art, blocking in colors and focusing on values help bring a piece to life quickly!
Also if you’re interested in posting more frequently, feel free to share your sketches and WIPs along the way! Please don’t feel pressured to meet a certain metric, your art making process should reflect what you want to get out of it - are you studying certain techniques? Or vibing and going with the flow?
However you go about it, don’t sweat over the number of WIPs you have. When you feel like going back to a certain WIP then that’s the perfect time to work on it!
I hope this helps and happy art making!

I love how Silas is just this sweet, eccentric little darling who loves to act and is flirty, and he's just the cutest little guy... but he manages to have the BIGGEST red flag imaginable. Like, how??? How is he both a serial killer and a sweet little bean at the same time??
despite all of that I just wanna hold the little guy and give him a kiss on the forehead. He's bad...but he's adorable. (side note: i do not condone his behavior!! he is still a bad person and i will not shy away from the fact that he has indeed killed people before. he may be sweet but he's def a red flag as you stated....and there goes the red flags song playing in my head lol)
Alsoooooo I have an answer to that question! Actually, two of them! One silly, one more tying into the lore of his character.
Short and silly answer: this image below (the surface):
Tumblr media
Long and lore answer: surprisingly, despite past trauma that he has gone through, and how he evolved to be such a killer, that sweet little guy is still there. He's sometimes positive, but at the same time he isn't overtly positive. He knows how awful the world can be, and he is one of those awful things. While it does plague him at night, there is no undoing of what is done. Yet after thinking and thinking and guess what, more thinking, he succumbed to his fate and damnation. The innocence he had a long time ago was shattered, but not half of his true nature.
One half is purely sadistic, angry, vengeful, longing for those who wronged him to pay...but the other half cancels it out. Said other half is his sweet natured, caring and excited self. He sometimes splits between those two halves, before eventually breaking down and losing his cool after so much pressure built up. I am unsure whether or not he has a mental disorder or not, considering the time period Lackadaisy takes place in. But one thing IS for certain, and that is he isn't in a good mental space.
Other than that, if he finds someone that isn't a target of his, and it's someone who he really likes and is comfortable with, then he's just...himself. No flirting, just bursts of energy and bubbles of kindness.

hi! how do you recommend i should prepare myself for college? im currently in the final year of high school. in what capacity would i need to change myself for college? i plan on developing habits this year which can help me in college. your suggestions will be helpful.
Hi, sorry for taking a while to respond, I've been ill all week and wasn't sure what I wanted to say. I was partly uncertain because I think you are from the US? (Correct me if I'm wrong!) And your college experience is very different from university here in the UK. However, there are a few universal tips I can give for anyone leaving compulsory education and entering into higher education for the first time.
Firstly, don't think about this as changing yourself! It's just another step and you will naturally fall into it. Everything I THOUGHT university would be like ended up being a lot of nonsense. You'll naturally fall into your working rhythm and find your place wherever you end up going! Be your authentic self and you'll have a blast. Seriously, going to university should be the best thing you do for yourself, otherwise it's not worth it!
Secondly, habits/learning tips. This is an easier one to give advice for, but it will probably feel incredibly vague right now:
Learn to how to skim and scan texts when reading (they are different!). Start practicing now and you'll thank yourself during your first term! You rarely need to read a whole text, so learn how to quickly and efficiently find what you need by learning how to find key words and arguments. Make skimming and scanning your first instinct when reading academically. It's hard and you'll find yourself slipping into reading the whole book/article a lot to start with, but I promise you it will save you A LOT of time and frustration.
Start developing a good routine for you to study. Learn when, where, and how you're most productive and make this a routine. I've learnt that I CAN'T concentrate properly in the afternoon, my brain gives up! But it took me YEARS to internalise this and I wasted so many hours trying to work in the early afternoon. Now I structure my study days around when I work best (seriously I get up at 5:30 so I can be working between 6:00 and 11:30, then have the afternoon off before doing a couple of hours around 8:30 at night) it can be irritating but I have a good study/life balance now AND I'm more productive!
Experiment with note taking styles. I've gone through SO many different systems, platforms, and techniques for note taking. It took me a while to work out that I need to take linear, bullet pointed notes BY HAND to remember information. I used to type everything and it went in one ear and out the other. Now I take notes by hand and it's been revolutionary.
Start everything EARLY. Don't let yourself be that person pulling an all nighter to get an assignment in on time. Start early, give yourself time to reflect on what you're doing, and finish a couple of days before the deadline. This way you have a buffer in case something goes wrong. I was never the person working up until the last minute (I'm too anxious to do that to myself) but I watched friends have breakdowns because they didn't start early enough.
Learn to draft anything you'll submit for formal assessment. Don't be the idiot who writes an essay and submits it without checking it... It makes you look stupid and you'll lose marks. Take the time to do a second and third draft, your grades will thank you. And proofread (I say having not proofread ANYTHING on this blog...)
Get out of the habit of thinking I don't want to go to X lesson/class. You might think it's harmless now, but as soon as you leave compulsory education and don't HAVE to go to that dreaded class you won't. Then you start skipping lectures, fall behind, and risk failing. Again, I watched too many people do this...
Practice self-discipline and motivation. Right now you HAVE to work on things, so you do. When the external motivators go away all you're left with is your own drive. For some people (me) this was GREAT because I hated performing to school systems. However, for others they can crumble without a teacher encouraging you to work... Learn to motivate yourself. If you take ANYTHING from this list then work on this one, seriously it'll be a life saver!
Honestly, the rest will come with time. The biggest thing you can do is work out what kind of learner you are, how do you LIKE to learn when away from the routines of school. When, where, and how do you like to learn? Practice notetaking and reading skills. Otherwise, the rest will depend on what sort of college/uni you end up at and what course you're taking.
The final thing I want to say is not really a tip, but something I think EVERYONE on the cusp of going into higher education should hear. Find out why you want to learn. Higher education is a big investment. It's years of your life and A LOT of money (especially in the UK and US with tuition fees and living expenses!) It's a lot of time, energy, and resources to throw into something if you're only doing it because it's expected of you or you don't know what else to do with your life.
So take some time to think about WHY you want to learn. What is it about your specialism that makes you love it? Why is it your passion?
I live and breathe history because I can't face living without it. For me it's the discipline where I really get to understand humanity, explore what makes us "tick". I feel connected with people through history. I'm fascinated by, and a little bit in love with, humans. I don't necessarily like speaking to people! But I love trying to find out who we are through what our history says about us. Fundamentally, humanity is both terrible and beautiful! And through history I get to see the best, worst, and crucially the most mundane of human existence... And it's in that mundane space where I find myself happiest because that's who we are. It's why I study popular religion, not high Church movements... But it is the curiosity about people that drives me to learn more. THAT'S why I study, THAT is why I bothered to drag myself out of bed a half 5 on a freezing January morning in 2018 to get to an 8:30 lecture and listen to a truly MAD man tell me about 17th century English preaching styles (real story, I loved that lecturer deeply... I was the only person at that lecture and it is the reason I am the historian I am today, I have so much respect for him and I am STILL inspired by what I heard that morning!)
Anyway... Find your reason to keep going with your studies, even when it seems pointless and you'd much rather give up. I'm not saying it has to be a grand, abstract desire to understand humanity - I'm a pretentious humanities student who is far too fond of religion. Your reason could be anything, a dream job, a desire to "get out" of a situation, academic brilliance, spite! Seriously, it doesn't matter! As long as it gives you a purpose and drive to learn. Without that reason you'll be wasting your time.
So, before you go, have a think about why you're going to university at all and make sure it's strong enough to get you out of bed ridiculously early on a freezing January morning. That way you won't miss the most inspiring moment of your life. Or you'll get a fantastic degree. That's also nice 😉

...I bit his hand off once. But that's what he gets, for shaking a snack right in front of my face... while I'm taking a nap. Not that I minded. But the feeling of a metal hand in my mouth was... weird, to say the least. Beyond that...? We work very well together, in my opinion.
...His little sister, Velma, is a delight to have around, too. :]
...
...Kilo? Kilo is... Kilo. A little (...a lot) infuriating, sometimes, but... he is part of the team all the same. There's not much else to say.
...and Courtney? Her and I are close. We used to run 'A Brief Case of Insurance Company', before Mr. Wing's... untimely death. She's always been very kind to me. I wouldn't trade our friendship for the world. But...
...
...I've thought about eating her hair once. I've never tried to, though.

i know you said you run the social media. is there a social media platform you like the best and like the least? i'm thinking about starting my own business and feeling so lost at it
Hi anon!
Honestly, Tumblr is my favourite. This is where we've got the most of our sales and interaction. I find people have also been the most supportive on here! (I really love interacting with all of you so much!)
I'd have to say that I don't dislike any of them so much, but I find Twitter and TikTok to be the most draining to figure out. (Twitter in terms of using the right tags, and TikTok just because it takes a lot of spoons to do videos for both of us.)
I've struggled also to get followers on Facebook and Instagram. But I find them less draining because I can set my Instagram posts to share to the Facebook page automatically which helps a lot.
If I'm being honest, I don't think I can give much advice because our success with Tumblr is why I got followers on the others in the first place (though I think the TikTok is starting to bring its own in now), and I was able to direct followers here from my trauma positivity blog which has a lot of followers.
I haven't done it personally, but I have heard there are sites that you can use to create posts for all your social media at once and schedule them? That sounds like it might be good for some! For me, the energy it would take it figure out and plan out sounds like too much so for now, I'm doing what I do.
(The ADHD definitely makes me get sidetracked and lose track of time and stuff though so sometimes I forget to post for awhile. Scheduling would be good for me to figure out.)
Good luck if you go on your business endeavor! I wish you lots of sales, and a lack of chargebacks. If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to offer advice. I ran the marketing and main part of my parent's business for almost ten years. I also got a marketing diploma, specialized in social media, and also did some business courses in general but dang... I feel like I don't use most of my schooling!
For example, all my classes focused on being "professional" and using proper language and stuff in emails and social media. Which I get, but it depends on your target audience. I really love that I can be myself and be casual in my interactions with this business. And it seems to be something our customers prefer honestly! (I think it also makes it super easy for me and it takes less spoons for me to make posts.)
So, don't believe everything you read. It's definitely a learning curve, and there's no real marketing suggestion that works for every single business.

hey just wanna say thank you for speaking up against tea with evan and me. I know you didn't mention them by name but I know you were referring to them. Shes a massive immature bully and her obsession with Evan's private life and making him and Haley a thing is very concerning. I almost left the fandom because of her but I stayed for you and other writers amazing works :)
honestly, I don't pay attention to names or who. It's not just that blog, though I have seen specific things from that blog that do kinda make me a little uncomfy. but, at the end of the day, I really don't care who. I actually wasn't aware they were talking about him recently -- my original post was about a mutual, if I'm being brutally honest.
let me be crystal clear; it's ANYONE who is too invovled in evan's (or any other celebrity's personal life), whether you run a blog or not. it's weird. it goes past celebrity gossip and into the questionable respect territory. it's not a flex to find some private account, and even if you have the maturity/sanity to not take weird action, people you share it with probably don't. so, it's weird to me to even do it but weirder and irresponsible still to share with the internet, full of children and psychopaths who don't know how to behave.
but to each their own, I guess. not really
and anon- as for that last bit, while I'm happy you stayed for the writers, please don't let one single person ruin your fun. they don't have and don't need that power, whatsoever. enjoy something on your own terms, and fuck everyone else bby!!!

To the 'adults', what was the biggest scare regressed Sun and Moon did to you? It is well known that babies give at least one big scare to their parents at least once.
Freddy
Greetings! This is Freddy. Although Sunny and Moony both seem to derive a fair bit of pleasure from giving the majority of us a scare, the worst one which we have experienced would doubtlessly be the situation which led to them discovering Bonnie. The trash compactor has always been rather dangerous, but the horror of knowing that they had gotten stuck and the inability to have circumvented the situation in general was... I do not believe my syntax trees have the capability of stringing together words to articulate just how horrid the experience was.
I am endlessly grateful to have saved Bonnie, and that all of the damage has been non-fatal. However the agony of holding Gregory as he cried, of knowing my children were harmed or worse... I would never wish that upon even my worst enemies.
I believe I have spoken enough. And so I shall pass it on the the remaining adults in our group.
Bonnie
Fredbear's account is pretty much the same. Worst scare? Definitely realizing that they were down there with me. As for the funniest scare, there was this one time that Moony impulsively shoved some sparkly beads in his mouth. While robots can't really choke, we can get stray pieces lodged between joints, internal mechanisms, all that horrible jazz. I lost my head, I won't lie. He wound up being fine, and I learned that they both were made with the capacity to covert actual food into fuel for their systems. Fascinating to learn, after the fact.
Monty
Y'all know Sun and Moon are my boos. I adore these gremlins, no matter how they feel. But True Fear is watching Moon, in a solidly toddler-esque headspace, manage to hook onto his chord and shoot to the ceiling. Had to run the catwalks and damn near lost my footing when the cable disconnected. Never been so scared in my life - even if the li'l goober gave the cutest laugh at my face afterwards.
Chica
Sunny and Moony, after their newer bodies were made, would sometimes follow me around in the kitchen. I love teaching them baking, and while it gets super messy, it's so rewarding to hear their giggles~ but anyway, this one time, we were making cupcakes, and Moony and Sunny were in their little booster seats. Sunny's a little escape artist, and he managed to undo his buckles before I caught him. Took a tumble like right on his little face. Didn't pop back up, and I thought I was going to die, I panicked so hard. He was fine, but his face plate had to be repaired and his nose was crooked for like a week, poor thing.
Roxy
Raceway accident. They were okay, but I thought the other's were going to kill me.
DJ MusicMan
I don't think I've had a proper scare with them, yet. Barrin' the trash compactor fiasco, none of the scare for the boys have been connected to them bein' Small. Ain't lookin' forward to the day they try it with me. Not exactly the fright type.

Requiem is such an experience!! And Planet is my favorite off of that album! ugh Planets for me is just such a Kylo Ren/General Hux from Star Wars kind of song, I love it so much. OK Sorry but I'm shifting into super fangirl mode because !!!! SAME! I think it's been around the same time for me too! A friend recommended them to me when I was in 5th grade I think, so around late 2008-ish? I was looking for a song for myspace (lmao) and Bat Country was the first one I heard and they've been my favorite band ever since. You're so lucky you've seen them many times, that is AMAZING! do you have a favorite time you've seen them? I was never allowed to go back in the day and when I finally did in 2013 it kinda sucked because of the people I went with so I'm hoping for another chance soon!
MYSPACE! This is digging up so many memories oh my GOD. I had the deathbat as my profile mouse curser and I thought I was the coolest person alive.
I would like to preface by realizing how ancient I sound by Tumblr standards. I am a fresh 29, but I may as well be 60 with the dates I’m mentioning below. That being said, I can talk about this band until I’m blue in the face. I’ve never met another person who is on the same level so I’m screamin’!!
lmao fun fact: Burn It Down was the FIRST music video I ever watched online and it took HOURS to load because I lived in the country at that point and dial up was actual hell. My mom absolutely freaked out when she saw what they looked like (because our massive Dell desktop WAS in the living room for everyone to snoop at what you were looking at).
I lived in California for a very brief period of time when I was 10 and the only friend I had was my neighbor who was my age so we immediately got along. He was really close with his cousin (she was 18 or 19) but she babysat us together often. ANYWAY she worked at one of the really small diy venues the next town over. Long story short, she dragged us to work with her one afternoon to grab her paycheck or something and they were playing that night. I didn’t get to see them play because I was too young and my parents would’ve 100% murdered the poor girl. BUT I did get to meet them outside while they were smoking lmao. It was the most awkward and weird experience back then because I had no idea who they were (they were so nice but also like “who are these children??”) but I look back on it fondly now.
The first time I got to see them was at Warped in ‘05 from a million feet away because my dad (rightfully so) did not let my 12 year old cantankerous self just waltz into the pits. I had zero fear. I was, admittedly, WAY TOO YOUNG to have been there, but it was an experience.
I think my favorite show was seeing them on the Taste of Chaos tour in ‘08. The lineup was bonkers. If I remember correctly it was A7X headlining with Bullet for my Valentine, Atreyu, Blessthefall (Craig had JUST left and their bassist had to do all the vocals. I remember that distinctly), and some J-Rock bands that I can’t remember as support. I went with my (still) best friend and it was the last tour I saw them on before the Rev passed the following year. They pretty much played their self titled album from start to finish with a few of the classics thrown in. Very, very fortunate.
I think the last time I saw them was at Mayhem Fest in 2014?? I went alone and was able to snag a front row spot at the barricade when they opened the gates for it and it was absolutely incredible. Hearing Requiem live absolutely obliterated me. I still get chills thinking about it.
So between ‘05 and ‘14 I’ve seen them maybe 7 or 8 times??? I wasn’t a huge fan of The Stage (will definitely need to give it another try) so they kind of fell off my radar for a bit. I’d definitely like to see them again if I get the chance because I’ve never seen a bad set from them in any show I’ve been to.
Honestly, I’ve learned by going with people who either can’t handle it or are just not fun concert people to go with that I prefer to go to certain concerts alone. If you’ve never done it before, I highly recommend!

Response to @putaindeplagieur post
I really do think you guys should check out @putaindeplagieur and his well-written post here
Alright. Now since he's my friend I'll go easy on him ;D (Or will I?) (❋•‿•❋)(❋•‿•❋)(❋•‿•❋) Also, keep in mind this is just a good-natured civil discussion about characters. Don't want anyone acting weird or overly hostile towards me or plagieur. If you do, best believe I'll shame your ass in front of everyone. Ahem, that aside let's dig deep. Also, my responses will be in bold italic
Tumblr media
Well whether a character is a stereotype for one doesn't actually mean if it's good or not. There are good and bad stereotypes that do exist. Also even for fiction it doesn't mean it's good or bad, only the execution and context. @a-student-out-of-time brought up how Linuj was wrong about making characters obviously bad and letting the audience know. I actually agree with him to a certain extent. Look, the fact is people can be good, evil and in-between. And if the writer wants people to know they are good/bad that's their right. If everything was gray we'd have no color. However I *DO* think it's inconsistent to criticize Linuj for making characters like Kanade or Shobai obviously bad people and letting the audience know this but IGNORE Junko and Mukuro who literally caused a global apocalypse. XDDDD Do you see how ridiculous that is? It's like constantly talking about how Sayaka is an awful terrible person for trying to kill Leon but you are a massive fan of Genocide Jill XDDDDDD
Tumblr media
I find this to be mostly true. You can like and dislike whoever you want for whatever reason however don't be surprised when people make strong arguments and you're incapable of mounting a good defense. Look, all I'm saying is this. You know I LOVE Junko. She's obviously been a huge character for the Hope Universe. However I'm not going to sit here and play defense for all the terrible shit she did in Canon. I AGREE with the people who hate Junko in Canon. That's why I decided to remove the Kodaka-ness from her and make her an actual character. But when we're talking about within the confines of canonical events and the decisions the writers have made (Kodaka/Linuj), there are absolutely legitimate reasons to hate characters especially
WHEN THEY CAUSE THE APOCALYPSE
If someone says they love Canon Junko, they are literally a psychopath, an angsty teenager who wants to be edgy, or a contrarian. Do I need to bring up real life how people love serial killers or well....Hitler and Stalin? Mao? Sure you can like those figures but your character is immediately deemed suspect for good reasons. LOL
Tumblr media
But that's the thing my friend. You actually *AGREE* with me here. The author can have favorites sure but even you admitted his decision to axe Sayaka and Leon was frankly peak Kodaka. It WAS a disservice to fans of those characters. I'm not a writer so I don't know if there is some sort of secret code or technique here but I CAN say that being LAZY with your characters will obviously be brought up against you. Just because an Author isn't perfect doesn't mean they get to literally just do nonsense. Whether it's V3 being used as a platform to scold the danganronpa community at the expense of the characters and canon itself, Sayaka and Leon dying because he had the same reasoning Junko would have, or Junko literally not being a character because....well of course not! She's the villain after all! I'm saying this because @a-student-out-of-time seems to correctly identify the laziness in Linuj writing and some of the problems with how he looks at people and touchy subjects. Kodaka *IS* better than Linuj, Yes. I'll say this a million times but he *ALSO* is lazy like Linuj sometimes. Am I saying every character needs an elaborate spin-off/backstory like Kyoko? No. But you know who IS a great character without needing so much backstory like Kyoko or Maki? Fuyuhiko. Nagito. The motherfucking Supreme Egg himself Makoto. Or if you hate the egg because you're a filthy heretic, you can use Chiaki. I do think that we often forget that even Linuj makes GOOD characters. Sora, Yuki before the Utsuro reveal, Satsuki, Ayame, Setsuka, Yoruko. However both Linuj and Kodaka make far more bad characters XDD
Tumblr media
Yes, writers everywhere can make stupid decisions. I do it, Kodaka does it, @pyropsychiccollector did it for not killing Ruruka/Izayoi but killing Junko (人◕ω◕)*****, Linuj does it. But that's the thing. Kirigiri IS better when it comes to treatment of characters than V3/THH. Killer Killer while being really bad in some aspects at least put in more effort. Whether you agree they hit the ball out the park is in another matter. I respect a person who misses hitting a baseball with a bat then Kodaka who would just sit on the bench and not even try. Killer Killer actually did more for Mukuro than THH and DR3 combined.
Tumblr media
I agree. Linuj did a really good job with making us believe it was an AU of Danganronpa THH but in reality it's in the same world. Well done.
Also the murders I don't consider a good point. I'm actually going to agree with @a-student-out-of-time and @pyropsychiccollector about the community having a REALLY weird obsession with the murder porn. These are still human beings regardless of fiction and we are being happy to see Linuj surpass his brutality towards said characters??? Nah bro. Linuj made DRA and SDRA2 waaaay too dark in tone. There was little to no hope and it was frankly just overwhelmingly dark and edgy. He was treating executions like Mortal Kombat/Corpse Party. Also, Utsuro was as badly handled as Izuru was if not more so. Utsuro should've been a sister project to the Kamakura project. It boggles me that so many people are just willing to accept a literal god-tier character to exist. He's the ultimate McGuffin simply by being born. No. Here's a better way of doing Utsuro than Linuj ham-fisted Izuru OC insert. Make it so the Utsuro program is developed alongside the Kamakura project or after/before it. The program is made as a result of all the lucky students throughout the decades. The goal is to basically create luck or to insert it into a singular being. You can do it genetically too! By that I mean, the Utsuro program was being used on several pregnant women, or Hope's Peak was trying to see if a talent like luck was genetically passed on. Regardless you could chalk up his existence to Hope's Peak human experimentation and having a fail-safe/backup in case the Kamakura program went nowhere.
Tumblr media
Agree about Kizuna. Linuj is just being lazy with his handling of characters. Kodaka did this obviously with Ruruka but also Celeste and Hiyoko. Also agree about Nikei which is unfortunate. Also agree with you and @a-student-out-of-time about Kanade. Completely redoing Kanade's character just to fit within chapter 3 reeks of incompetence.
Also agree about Kanata. However you can say the same about Emma/Kokoro and Nikei/Shinji. Dude was just forcing kills with no real thought. Reminds me of when Kodaka DID THE SAME WITH MIU AND KOKICHI. Or killing Kaede off to subvert expectations. FML
Tumblr media
I'm actually going to surprise many people by saying I actually agree with this assessment. However saying the "Best" is still weird. Best at what exactly? Best in terms of backstory? Yes. Best in terms of inspiring hope? No. XDDD Hajime IS more developed and fleshed out than Makoto but that doesn't mean Makoto is worse. I like to use the Superman and Batman comparison for an example. In terms of backstory, Bruce has Clark solidly beat. Bruce also has a far better rogue's gallery and better movies/shows/games. However would you say Batman IS better than superman? Well again you need to be specific with these things. Clark actually inspires hope whereas bruce doesn't. Superman gets flak for being a boy scout or too vanilla and hey if people don't like that I completely understand. But sometimes you *NEED* characters like Superman/Makoto. You need that person who's a beacon of light and hope in a world where there's an apocalypse and Kodaka got lazy with 77-B brainwashing. Hajime IS better written than Makoto. Funnily enough, Kyoko IS better written than even Chiaki. But both Makoto AND Chiaki inspire. And that's not something I see with Hajime/Batman. And that's fine as well! If we had one protagonist who could do everything and be morally upright all the time, we run into a gary stu real fast.
Tumblr media
Oh boy Kyosuke. Another casualty of Kodaka not knowing what he wanted to do with the character. If you want a better Kyosuke I suggest reading @pyropsychiccollector re-imagining of GD and DR3 here It is a long read so keep that in mind. Right, so the quote you mentioned is actually the opposite. Kyosuke DOES care about Hope's Peak. However, Absolute Power Absolutely Corrupts. He became too selfish and ultimately fell into despair by thinking he was doing something good (@pyropsychiccollector I don't want to hear any slanders towards Hope Junko about this sir. (人◕ω◕)***). You can blame Chisa for manipulating Kyosuke throughout the events of the tragedy as well. I wouldn't say he doesn't understand Hope or Despair. I would say he has a different perception of it. He views Makoto's way of doing Hope as Too weak and soft and the only answer to Despair is with overwhelming force. You could rather see Kyosuke as Authoritarian. Absolute Order and control. Junko is the opposite end of that. Absolute Chaos and lawlessness.
You can make Kyosuke bad but can you make him *Compelling*? Magneto is bad. Doom is bad. Kang is bad. But they are *Compelling*. You can see *WHY* they do what they do even if you disagree with it. Hopefully you don't go the Kodaka/Linuj route and become lazy and make him bad with no real humanization added. If you do I will cook you ;D
Tumblr media
And this is a good way to conclude it. Honestly I really do think we're all on the same side here just different approaches. I just hate how Kodaka is put on this golden pedestal when he makes childish and bad fanfic writer level decisions sometimes. Don't get me wrong though, when Kodaka is cooking he's cooking XD He has his great moments like GD Chapter 5, THH Chapter 2/4, and V3 chapter 5 minus Maki. It's just odd we're understandbly roasting Linuj for X decision but when Kodaka also makes X decision we turn a blind eye. Where's the consistency here? XDDDD Just because he's the official writer doesn't mean he doesn't have incompetent moments that Linuj also does. Sometimes it's in different ways and sometimes it's not.

You (along with several people) bring up the show bible, when it comes to Zim's age, but even if they originally planned him to be a kid, the show bible was there to give a concept, that was not exactly finalized, the Irkens for example had a different name for their species back then. Also there is an another show, Star VS The Forces of Evil. She was supposed to be a middle schooler in the original premise, but they decided to age her up for the final product: she became a 14 year old, but that doesn't mean they retconned her age and she's still 10-12. Just because you plan something, doesn't mean it can't change into something later that you think fits more with what you want to tell. Although I am not even sure that's the exact case with Zim too, since besides the "two kids" bit, he also gets called a spaceman, if I remember correctly.
What am I saying is that you can headcanon him whatever, but I don't think the show bible counts as an evidence.
(Although, I admit some things are confuse me, like other people pointed out that he is smaller in the begginning of the series and actually has a gradual growth, not just a redesign, like I originally thought, but there is also a cancelled plot for an episode, where he gets drunk on slushies, and it is played for a joke, so... The latter personally leaves a bitter taste in my mouth if I view him as a tween/teen, but the growing confuses me in that regard, so I think I understand the people who say giving Zim a human age ruins it for them.)
Never said that was the case, of course things can change from bible to production but the thing is nothing concretely changed. In the case of star she's given a specific age and wasn't even that far off from the og age. She is specifically said to be 14, zim is specifically said to be nothing.
Things we consider when we talk about zim's age are stuff like: did you grow up with the show, because in that case you're probably more inclined to have aged zim around dib which is usually close to the viewers own age (this is partly my own reasoning).
Also how zim acts and appears, in every human instance he's aged around dib even if he's in disguise he is considered to be a child. irkens dont age him at all, other than gag cutbacks to him destroying things but that proves nothing about age to irkens. it's incredibly easy to argue irkens don't have the same aging system and once they're out of smeethood they're sent to work. No child to adult pipeline, just a working irken citizen regardless of actual age.
I don't want to say "minor coded" but that's kind of the case. visually zim appears to be equivalent to a human child, acts equivalent to a human child, and is overall treated as one. to me it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to try and treat him like an adult as he is in canon. This is partially due to my own feelings having always considered him a kid, but I just could never get with the idea he's the equivalent of a human adult just looking at the show itself. and most new fans seem to agree because its not until they learn jhonen said so that they think zims a similar age to dib.
"spaceman" is generally just another term for alien. He's also called "spaceboy" pretty frequently. He's also called lizard, which indicates nothing at all. Invader zim is a funny haha show, they use whatever is needed to make the joke continuity be damned. i don't think that's enough personally to sell me on the idea zim is an adult, and jhonen just saying so isnt enough either because jhonens said a LOT of thing that fans disregard every day (dib has a third ear, zim cares for no one and nothing especially not gir, etc etc)
To me the dynamic changes drastically if zim is an adult, i dont even like zadf is zim is an adult because it feels really weird. the dynamic is much more endearing if theyre a similar age, going through similar struggles, because thats kind of what the show itself implies. zim and dib are parallels to eachother, and the parallel is ruined if one is just a stupid adult and the other is a misunderstood kid. the bible only helps us provide reasoning but its not a smoking gun, theres a lot more to consider.

I saw a post of yours that said you support planned parenthood and wanted to give you a heads up not to support them. The founder was racist
Hi there! I'd like to put a disclaimer on this post that while everything is backed by research, the base opinion is my personal opinion and it's absolutely okay if you disagree. So as always, take what resonates and leave what doesn't. Buckle in, because this is going to be a very long response.
This is a bit of a complicated and highly controversial topic. Planned Parenthood was founded in 1916 by Margaret Sanger. There's been a lot of discussion in recent years regarding the idea that Margaret was a racist ableist that supported the ideology of eugenics. Eugenics was an ideology that supported selective breeding in order to create a "perfect race." This further supported the idea at the time of fit groups of people with desirable breeding traits (upper class white people) vs unfit groups of people considered to be inferior (people(s) of color, different religious backgrounds, people(s) of the lower class, and people(s) with undesirable physical and mental characteristics.) Margaret Singer was a revolutionary of her time for women's health and advocated for women's contraceptives, rights to control her own body, and general sex ed and health. Birth control was condemned at the time because it was considered highly immoral and would lead to "the suicide of the white race." This ideology made it difficult for Sanger to promote her beliefs and when the "science" of eugenics gained popularity, she saw an opportunity to ally with them out of strategy to provide legitimacy to her own movement and to speak on her agreement with the eugenics movement of the "need to put an end to breeding by the unfit." Eugenists used this alliance to push contraceptives into black communities and Sanger went as far as to endorse the 1927 Buck v. Bell decision, in which the Supreme Court ruled that states could forcibly sterilize people deemed “unfit” without their consent and sometimes without their knowledge. It's still debated whether or not Sanger agreed with or opposed the eugenic ideology along racial lines, but it's widely accepted that, regardless of her personal beliefs, she did align with organizations that were explicitly based on white supremacy and paternalistic ideals of the time that worked directly towards undermining reproductive freedom and caused irreparable damage to the health and lives of generations of Black people, Latino people, Indigenous people, immigrants, people with disabilities, people with low incomes, and many others. Planned Parenthood has publicly denounced Sanger's belief in eugenics and has chosen to be transparent about her problematic behavior in or to better serve their communities now.
While Sanger was a revolutionary for women's health, she was also a product of her time and did not apply her progressive thinking towards racial issues. I do not condone or support Sanger's ideals regarding eugenics or her methods of gaining support and legitimacy, but I do support Planned Parenthood as a company. If we attempted to withdraw our support from every organization that had history condoning ideals we don't support today, our scope would be incredibly limited.
I am SO sorry for the long post, but information is important to come to your own educated conclusion. I am incredibly impressed if you've read all the way to the end.

OMG u watched beyond evil??? I simply must know your thoughts on it! :^D
(i apologize for the length)
I started watchin cause i saw you havin a grand ol time reblogging posts about these 2 guys and I'm like "who are these fools?" and now I'm finding out. I've been slowly goin through it cause it takes me 2 years to watch a single show y'know. So far I'm digging the extreme drama that every scene eminates. It's pretty fun. The cast is stacked to the teeth with pretty convincing characters. There's a sense of familiarity that the viewer gets drip fed episode to episode that makes dramatic shifts in the plot feel pretty good. The only gripe i got is that conflicts tend to resolve back to the status quo in the very next episode after they're introduced so it makes it a lil hard to be fully invested. but! I am literally only halfway through, and a lot of the plot threads i pegged as 1 note ended up being good framework for the first major twist (the thing that we find out in like, ep 7). And the show has definitely got my patience for wherever it goes. The absolute strongest thing about the show is our 2 leads. Jesus CHRIST. I find myself with extremely complicated feelings on whose the "better cop" outta the two of them. And yes i know EXACTLY what people mean by calling Dong sik "babygirl" because he is. Joo-won is my cringe fail king fr gjffgjfgjffg. But fr this response is already really long, so I cant go at length about how i genuinely find these two characters fascinating. Overall it's a good watch! I've never been interested in K-drama really, but this makes me a bit curious about other ones
