I just wanted to send an ask saying I'm very impressed with the quality of the products you sell compared to what I buy at the store. I bought some mochi squishies from walmart because they were cheap and the pack happened to come with a paw squishie that looks very similar to one I bought from you, and yet the brand new walmart one looks awful (squished and folded weirdly, the pink that's supposed to go on the paw pads is splotchy and everywhere and looks to be peeling off) but the one i bought from you over three months ago still looks brand new and the colours aren't just lazily slapped on top so they don't look weird or peel away. i know walmart quality isn't a very high bar to clear but I'm still pleasantly surprised that my squishie that has seen some definite wear and tear (and was shipped internationally!!!) *still* looks better than the new one that came from a nearby store, lol

on your website the ark's krypto bite chews appear to come in a large variety of colors, but when you click on the page it only gives you a couple options. luckily i'm medium chewing and i like lime green but are there actually that many colors available or do you only have red, lime green and royal blue?

At this time we only have select colours of krytpo bites. We will bring in more colours when we sell off a bunch of our current stock.

We got an ask about whether there’s a chew fidget out there that can mimic a crunching feeling. I don’t know any, so I thought I’d share and ask if anyone knows of something?

do you have any recommendations for a chew that could replace finger/thumb sucking? I've been sucking my middle and ring fingers since I was in the womb and I desperately need to stop.

I wonder if an ark krypto chew might be good size wise?

Hi anon!

Sure. I'm going to leave out any steps that are business specific like making our earring cards (these come in as business cards), and packaging, etc, since I assume you want to make these yourself and don't need the rest.

Tools I use: Jewelry pliers (2) Wire Cutter Pieces I use Jump rings x4 or 6 depending. Fishhook ends x2 (or clip on equivalent). Chain x2 Charms x4.

I also have two rubber earring backings that I attach to my cards. You could use whatever backings you wanted.

The chain I get in rolls and I cut it to approximately 4". You need to make sure it has holes in it big enough for a jump ring to fit through. You could go with whatever length you wanted to use. I use wire cutters for this. I cut myself two pieces of chain. I then use a jump ring(I open and close this with both sets of pliers, though I think I've heard there are jump ring tools. I haven't tried them though!) to attach the charm to a hole through the chain. Once I've secured the jump ring to the chain, I put the chain through the hole in fishhook piece. This is where another jump ring might be needed. For example, our silver earrings don't have a jump ring attached to the fishhook because the chain is thin enough, but our gold ones do because our gold chain is a bit thicker and can't move through the hole in the earring piece easily. If your chain is thin enough to go through the fishhook piece, then you're good! If not, you might need to attach a jump ring to the earring piece.

Once I have the chain through the earring piece, I then repeat what I did prior which is attach a jump ring to the charm and then the chain!

Then I repeat all of the above and end up with a pair of fidget earrings I can pull back and forth!

do you make all your products to order?

We pre make a bunch of them! Irene has to pre make the marble mazes and infinity yarn since we’re a ferry ride away so I need a stock to have to ship.

And I try to make some stock to have on hand. I’ve just not been as on top of it lately 😂. It is nice that I can make them to order though.

don’t you guys technically profit from the pay it forwards because of product mark up? Wouldn’t it be better to give products to customers at cost instead?

To be honest, I’m not sure how to make that work. It’s a lot easier for customers to pick out their items with a gift card.

We don’t actually profit off these though! Our gift cards are $25 cad and we send a free shipping code along with it which means we cover the shipping. With the cost of shipping, we actually usually lose money on these. Sometimes, for international orders especially, the shipping cost is more than $25.

The next two people on the waitlist are about to be contacted thanks to someone purchasing our $50 pay it forward!

There are currently 19 people on the waitlist and we’ve been able to give our 17 cards so far! (A few of these were before the waitlist system.)
