I love the little things!

I think Will likes to see H in different clothes than what he was used to seeing him wear, yk? He saw him in formal wear and one time (maybe more?) in PJ's. So maybe he really likes it when H wears leather, like the bike fit he had in Paris. I bet Will loves that, cause it's a more clear manifestation of the dangerous and edgy side of Hannibal that's usually concealed in his fancy clothes.

For H, I think he loves when Will dresses up, since he rarely does. After being together, just like he did with those tailored shirts he brought to Europe for Will, I believe he'd get him some nice suits.

But they both probably prefer the other more vulnerable so no clothes are their favorite clothes :).

We know a lot more about H's interests than we do Will's, so I think cooking and drawing are the most obvious ones that Will would favor, because he gets to enjoy the food and idk but I always got the vibe that the drawing scenes made H a little more vulnerable, not that he was literally, he was certainly not, but it did gave off a softness that he didn't usually gave off. Maybe Will sees that, too, also, Will being the nars he is, would love to be showered with a collection of himself in various scenarios lol.

As for H, I think he'd be interested in anything Will is interested in, because that's just how he is lol. I bet he'd indulge and pluck at his brain at any newfound interest like, "you like gardening? why? what about it you like? since when? how did you discover? what's your favorite thing about it? tell me everything" and then would gift him a fancy gardening set or something lol. But god forbid Will made some association with someone else like "oh there was this neighbor I had an affair with and she liked gardening" cause H would go "um, no" and gone, all gone, H would burn all the gardens, forever, like no more gardening for you, get punished for having any attachments that isn't me. Will would be like why must you take it all away from me? and H would just I only want the best for you and having gardening interests because of some PERSON who isn't me is not the best...dear. beloved. bebesito.

little things, little things...I think Will likes to watch Hannibal sleep because it's a rare moment of vulnerability, I think he likes to observe how he sometimes gets these weird little things like meticulously separates seeds or grains when cooking, and he likes to try to understand why, how he's separating and choosing. I bet he loves the little moments when he shoves his arms inside someone's bowels, too cause ambulance scene. just the little things, yk? No but seriously, I can imagine them getting caught up in gory details of the kills, like omg look at how his muscles flex when he slides the knife along that rude's throat, idk lol.

And I think H loves every little thing about Will, my man is obsessed, and he is also just perceptive and likes to pay attention and draw everything from memory, so naturally he pays attention to every little thing Will does, also so anticipate his needs and emotions in general. Like "I noticed your breathing pattern changed slightly, and your heartbeat changed rhythm, would you care for a back massage and a warm tea?" yk just super regular things you'd notice about your loved one.

Ok let's imagine Will and Hannibal moved in a Mediterranean place, in a house on the beach. Obviously Will loves to be in the water and go snorkeling and admire the pretty fish.

Hannibal is not really a fan. He loves swimming but in pools where he can see what lives beneath him. As a predator himself, he needs to be constantly aware of his surroundings and asses the potential harm. Will tells him every night about the many types of fish he has seen that day.

One day however Will convinces him to come into the water. He promises him there is nothing to be afraid of, there are only harmless fish. Hannibal gives in.

The water is nice. And clear enough. And Will promises to report every weird thing he sees beneath them. They don't go where they can't touch the bottom.

"I have to admit, Will, it's not that bad."

Will doesn't reply but takes off his snorkeling glasses.

"What else is there?" Hannibal asks seeing the mixed feelings on Will's face.

"Nothing. A couple of fish."

"Will. What did you see."

"Just don't move, okay?"

Hannibal is frozen instantly. Him, the apex predator, is facing a potential death threat and he doesn't even know what it is.

"You promised." He whispers as a small grin appears on Will's face.

"I promised nothing will harm you underwater. I never made any promises about myself though."

Before Hannibal can react, Will has already "attacked" him, pulling him underneath. Now that his attacker has made himself known, Hannibal has no issue with fighting back, especially because it's the idiot that he had fallen for.

At least their little fight had for sure scared any underwater predator.

By the end of the day they are both cuddling in their bed, Will's head resting on Hannibal's chest.

"By the way, there was a moray eel right next to your left foot. I attacked you to scare it away. Did you know they have really bad eyesight and-"

"Are you telling me this just now?"

"You would have freaked out and where would that have led? You are okay, aren't you?"

"I could have been dead by now."

"No way. Do you think I would have let that happen on my watch? I would have killed it with my bare hands and then I would have cooked it for you."

Hannibal is pleased with Will's answer. However he still prefers to stay on the shore.

Another of my favourite post-fall headcanons is that whenever Will and Hannibal fall out, Will proceeds to order the cheapest, most greasy take out food he can find from whatever city they're in.

He refuses to eat it at the table and instead plods down on the couch opposite Hannibal, making full-on eye contact with every bite just to piss him off.
