MarInk Day 7: Drip

For day 7 I drew some Bambi fanart, based on the "Little April Shower" sequence from the movie, where Bambi watches the raindrops fall. However, I chose to draw Bambi's book counterpart instead because I think the book is superior to the movie (though the movie isn't bad). So yeah, roe deer Bambi for the win.

Thinking about how I wish there was more mainstream talk about older animation (1920s to the 1950s) as works of art

#rewatched little april shower and was enamoured with the animation the background the special effects #all when inking and coloring was done by hand #not that cg animation isnt art but i dont know theres something about detailed nature and shots of lightning #knowing everything im seeing was done by hand #2d animation #animation #also multiplane camera my love #i also caught some of a popeye short awhile back and the animation was loose and fluid #rambling tags #disney #fleischer studios #looney tunes #those are the studios that leap to mind #theres lotte reiniger but thats a different (though also good art) animation #or maybe there is and im not aware of it

Omg first of all... thank you SO much for your interest in my Fellow smut. It means the world to me that you enjoyed it and are excited for part 2!

The good news is: yes, I WILL be continuing it! I am still totally invested in Fellow as a character.

The bad news is: I haven't started writing it yet 💀

What's worse is that all this time, instead of continuing working on Stage Sex, I'm 15 pages deep in some other freaking completely unrelated Fellow fic

The neutral news is: eventually when both of these fics are complete, you guys will be absolutely drowning in the thousands upon thousands of words I've written about Fellow Honest.

I hear you, though, so really, I promise I'm going to switch gears and start chipping away at Stage Sex again. Writer's Block has been very difficult for me lately, and I have a very high standard for the work that I put out. I'm hoping I can start writing some words I'm proud of again and I hope the final result will be worth the wait!

Everybody got into position. Donnie and Leo snuck in through the vents as the other three waited for the back door to open. May felt a mix of fear, excitement, maybe even a little nauseous as the previously clear night sky was starting to fill with dark clouds quickly.
