I am literally obsessed with everything you do that involves sifloop you are THE sifloop artist to me
thank you!!! it means a lot to hear that haha
I've been like... near exclusively an OC artist for like 8 years at this point so every time i post fanart and ESPECIALLY ship art i feel like i have to fight every screaming cell in my body to post it because i feel like... RUDE? for projecting my own thoughts onto another creator's characters LMAO... so it's reassuring to know people actually like what i'm contributing!!
as for sifloop as a ship. i really should draw more isiloops because . rotates all three of them in my mind. but yeah. I think the thing I like most about the dynamic really is the like... way Siffrin and Loop canonically aggress each other despite an extremely persistent undercurrent of caring about the other not suffering.
Like. the back and forth between Loop constantly talking past/through Siffrin to really painfully insult the pair of them, and things like the [Forgetting Mirabelle's Name] event being so astoundingly gentle. just as a general example.
(RNG event that only triggers after certain actions so you may need to look it up)
THEN adding the element of throwing them in postcanon with neither of them wanting to upset the party and thus having to keep a lid on it... I like the potential dynamics of such a painful and conflicted relationship having to be almost hidden and downplayed so as to try and not worry anyone, and thus becoming softer and introspective while still keeping a bunch of the more insidiously toxic behaviour.
Both of them acting with genuine best intentions in mind but still understanding each other to have way *way* more sadness and anger and guilt than they let on, and thus being able to clock it. Both for good and ill. Neither of them enjoy confrontation, but it's almost unavoidable when they KNOW the other knows what they're probably thinking.
. but yeah i just think they're neat! also a bunch of stuff related to asexuality but . shh

haha oh no im definitely not at all disturbed by the prevalence of leftists on all platforms who are loudly 'anti-genocide' when it comes to the palestinian cause (and a couple others at best :3c) yet the only time ukraine [ʊkrɐˈjinɐ] leaves their mouths is in critique, in stark comparison to the former or in complaint about their (american) government sending aid.
at first what i saw often was pointing out the differences in western media framing [ukraine vs palestine], and that's fair (until the words and the agenda of western journalists are used to paint, as a whole, ukrainians who have been actively going through genocide as some kind of white supremacists hogging the blanket of global attention when they kinda just want to live and have the rights to their own land, culture, names and families)
but no one is even caring to do that anymore, today bitches just invent metaphorical scenarios and people to get mad at and to throw an entire ethnos away because wahhhh i decided that you care for X but not for Y!!!.... all while doing the exact thing they are condemning. the exact absolute same and they don't even hide it but do lack the self-awareness to realise

I've had a pitch crush on someone for a while! I really hate them! >:)
But one of our hatefriends just told me they might be pale for me? >:O
If they are, what do I do??? How do I make them hate me properly? :(
I don't pity them! I don't even know why they pity me! Or if they even really do! :?
It's really confusing and I don't want to have to reject them and then have to try and ask them out! That's not gonna go well!!! >:(
yeah i dont know that sounds awful i think personally id just die
questionable advice: either try upping the annoyingness and going all out with pitch flirting or just sit them down and just actually ask them if they pity you or not maybe youll get lucky and they dont but either way at least youll know right so that sucks a little less than not knowing
bad advice: kill their lusus maybe thatll make them really mad at you

I just mathed out the exact number of kids in the Pandora Program with absolutely bullshit math. The math itself isn't bullshit I'm just making some bigger so stuff actually makes sense
I'm going off the number of teens in Canada aged 13-19 to be about 2.9 million. that statistic was from an article from 12 years ago and the program has 20 and 21 year olds but I'm going to disregard that for my own SANITY-
8% of the population have powers, thus of the 2.9 million teens there is ~229 800 teenagers who developed powers. I AM GOING TO ASSUME an incarceration rate of 0.8% SPECIFICALLY among the teenagers with powers due to unfair trials and set-ups, but the average incarceration rate is like 0.088%. Again, for my own SANITY, I am ignoring that there is a very big difference between 0.088 and 0.8.
Anways, 0.8% of 229 800 is 1 832 total members of the Pandora Program across Canada. For the Trillium Location specifically (Ontario), there are, according to the same article as before, 1 189 245 teenagers in Ontario. 8% of that means 94 419 teenagers with powers, and 0.8% of THAT means a total of ~755 teenagers within the Trillium Campus, AKA the one where our story takes place.
Again, AGAIN, I'm aware an incarceration rate of 0.8% of teenagers with powers is kinda insane, but ALSO they are probably more likely to lash out due to poor treatment, rebel, or take advantage of their powers to do harm, and the trial system is less forgiving due to them benefiting from the teenagers incarcerations.

On another, less angry note, the democrats in my state have started running ads that are very similar to like traditional conservative/republican ads and I fuck with it SO much. Like I totally believe it has made a difference in how things went in the fall for us with the special election we had for recreational marijuana and reproductive health care. Truly amazing
