because it’s mingyu day imagine living together and it’s usually him cheffing it up so you decide to bake him a surprise cake to change things up but things go wrong and maybe it gets burnt or smth … but to gyu it doesn’t matter because it’s the thought !! that counts 🥺 so you’re all like “how can i make this up to you?”
and then he just has the smuggest smile saying “i was promised cake so can i get some of yours?” 😳

THIS IS KINDA DOMESTIC THO— just imagine 🥹 you’d be on the verge of tears because nothing was going right and he comes home and he smells ??? burning? so he comes into the kitchen to see you all dejected and sad and he’s like, “what’s wrong, babe? what happened? are you okay?” and he’s all concerned :((
and you’re just telling him what happened from how you over mixed the dough to how you literally burnt the cake because you forgot to set the timer. you have the biggest pout on your face and your eyes are all watery and he just starts cooing.
he’s comforting you, rubbing your arms up and down, “baby, you didn’t have to.”
“i know! but i wanted to! it’s your birthday ‘n i want to give you a cake.” you whine, pout deepening. “and now it’s all ruined— this is why you’re the one in the kitchen!”
he laughs at your sulking. “i’ll still eat it— you know i’ll eat everything you put in front of me. especially if my pretty baby made it.” he reassures you with the softest voice.
“no, no. i’m not gonna make you eat that.” you tell him, still feeling down. “can i make it up to you? i can go get another cake…”
“i think… i’d rather have another cake…”
you nod your head, seemingly missing the innuendo, “okay, what cake do you want?”
he shakes his head, “your cake.”
you frown again at the comment, “babe, it’s burnt— told you i’m not gonna let you eat that on your birthday.”
“not that cake, baby.”
and you’re oblivious, giving him that ‘wtf are you talking about’ face so he pins you to the nearest counter or island and drops to his knees.
“gyu?!”
“if i’m getting any cake, i want it to be yours.” he says with a smug grin. “now, will you turn around and treat the birthday boy?”

PSA: If Tav fails the weave scene…
So, I’m assuming that most players (like me) thought that you *had* to pass the “channeling the weave” scene with Gale in order to begin his romance. Makes sense, right? Gale is a learned scholar, he tells you magic is his life, so it’s understandable that even he might hesitate to romance you if you are unable to follow his simple instructions and share a moment with him.
…but nope! Nope. Of course Gale is so wonderful that even if you fail the scene, he’s still down bad for you, and to top it off? His response is one of the sweetest lines in the whole damn game.
If you are a Galemancer and you haven’t seen this before, please stop whatever you are doing, sit down, view his expression + hear his line delivery, and try not to pass out:
Tav: It was a pity your lesson in the Weave ended so soon - I was enjoying our moment alone. Do you think about us being alone again?
Gale: Do you?
Tav: Yes.
Gale: So do I. You see, I'm not a big believer in fate, but I do believe in serendipity.
Gale: Life is a tempest of events that sometimes we brace against, and sometimes embrace.
Gale: You're one such event that one day soon perhaps, I'd like to embrace.

shiv's motivations for voting to pass the gojo deal are so layered and i don't think they should be dismissed in favour of any one interpretation. shiv desperately grabbed on to a lifeline for her relationship with tom. shiv was the deciding vote and she couldn't bear to hold the crown only for a moment just to place it atop her brother's head. shiv knew she would have more influence as wife of CEO rather than sister of CEO. shiv absolutely hated seeing kendall crystallize into logan before her eyes, especially when he made roman bleed ("and if we did kill him we get to go to bed") -- succession has always been about siblings so of course she tried to free her brothers before her child. shiv still thinks she can raise her child with all the material benefits of being the daughter of waystar CEO while doing better by her, whatever that means. and all of those things are true

while I do like the added dialogue between Sally and Percy in the minotaur scene, namely Sally's speech to Percy telling him to hold fast, I really wish the scene had more of the urgency that it did in the book. Like Grover's heavily injured to the point of incoherency, Sally and Percy literally have to drag him up the hill, and that's when they're overtaken by the minotaur. In the show, having them all come to a grinding standstill and Grover being fully alert like "sorry I know we're being chased by certain death but your mom's human so she can't come :/" was kind of adflksadfjasdf
oh and in the book Percy doesn't immediately pass out. Instead, Percy doesn't let himself until he's hauled Grover over the boundary line and all the way to the big house because he needs help and it's only then does Percy finally collapse. and idk just the imagery of it all -- Percy crying for help, for his mother -- it always stuck with me and I wish they hadn't taken it out.

Its not perfect (like everything I made), but I just love drawing comic-like-stuff, I get to relax more. I dont try to do the lines perfectly or the super accurate anatomy (mostly cause I dont know shit about anatomy at all) and also get to be more simple in the colors, wich helps cause I struggle making colors a lot.
I missed drawing my babies...but why did I drawing them like that? XD I swear...I think I should have seen some reference cause I totally change the way I draw the Burger Babys which is crazy for me XD

alright i know lots of folks don’t love the chaos redesign and some folks are saying they look like meg which like i get, esp with the singular wing but to me? they look like Nyx. they look like they molded their new appearance in the image of their daughter, who they’ve recently reconnected with after aeons of separation. like they have not just emotionally become more the parent of Nyx, but physically mirrored this parenthood, this embodied connection, by choice
