Hey Mister Villain
Finally, I can present you the long-awaited Sequel to No Spilling Secrets. I recommend reading No Spilling Secrets first, as that is relevant for understanding the context of this story.
Summary: After getting out of the claws of Clint, Bucky, and Sam, Peter can finally take a rest. Or can he? A single glance at Mr. Stark is enough to let the teen know his mentor waits for an explanation, and it better be a good one. He really should have thought about how to get out of this one, didn't he?
"Care to explain why you hacked Friday, Peter."
Oh fuck.
"Not the words I would use, but that sums it up well enough."
The words had tumbled out before Peter could stop himself. At least May and Steve weren't here to catch that slip-up. Mr. Stark merely raises an eyebrow, leveling the teen with a glance. The man is still waiting for an explanation that Peter is more than dreading to give to his mentor. Heck, Peter endured the dishing out of the bird bros and Bucky. He couldn't fold now just because Mr. Stark came off as a little intimidating. Speaking of Mr. Stark, said man stands stern-faced in front of him, arms crossed over his chest as he stares down at Peter in a voiceless dare to keep silent.
Okay, cross that. Mr. Stark is more than a little intimidating.
But still, Peter has come too far to spill. His mentor wouldn't let him live that down, not after creating a whole archive of Peter's embarrassing moments. It is pouring fuel straight into the fire.
Mr. Stark steps closer.
With one hand casually placed in the pocket of his three-piece suit while the other pulls down his glasses, the man glances over the rim. Peter gulps. He has to lean his head back to meet his eyes. Mr. Stark studies him for a moment, and Peter wonders what exactly the man is searching for when the sound of the man sniffing catches his attention.
Mr. Stark straightens, pushing his glasses back up.
"These three didn't manage to, but I know how to make you talk, Parker. Don't let it come to that." Peter lets out a huff in protest when his mentor suddenly pushes him, causing him to lie flat on the bench. The teen stares up at the older man in surprise before Peter's face contorts into a grimace as he finally registers Mr. Stark's words.
"You saw all of that?" Peter asks, hoping Mr. Stark would break out into that smug trademark grin, laughing as he pats him on the shoulder and tells him he was only messing with him. Mr. Stark, of course, didn't give Peter that. Instead, he is met with a slight tilt of the head as Mr. Stark gives him an unimpressed look.
"This is my tower kid. What did you expect?"
The vigilante lets his shoulder sag in defeat. Of course, Mr. Stark watched the whole spectacle. Where is that hole in the ground to bury yourself? It's never there when you need it.
A finger flicks against his forehead.
"Don't go all kicked-puppy on me, kid. You wouldn't be in this predicament if you hadn't cracked the tower's system and left a security breach as wide as the Brooklyn Bridge. You bought this on yourself."
"Maybe that wouldn't happen if there was a better security system," mutters the teen under his breath.
"Excuse me, what was that?" Peter's mouth shut instantly at the look Mr. Stark was giving him. How many times did he manage to piss his mentor off today? According to Mr. Starks expression, it was at least one time too many. Sensing that this wasn't going in a favorable direction, Peter made a drastic decision.
He needs to escape.
Now.
The man standing in front of the bench raises an eyebrow as the teen suddenly angles his legs up, bringing them close to his chest and bending his back, body forming an alarmingly accurate globular form. Without his trademark suit, the kid always seemed so inconspicuous it was easy to forget his powers and traits, counting in that inhuman flexibility. The kid tilts sideways, beginning to roll down the bench with an easiness that left the man wondering if Peter had done this before, the thought of that being a possibility alone giving him a mild headache.
"What- kid, you are not some overgrown roly-poly. What are you doing?"
Skillfully ignoring the bewildered tone of his mentor, Peter tenses his muscles while bracing for the fall, tilting his arms to avoid landing on his still-bound wrists. Mr. Stark takes off his sunglasses to pinch the bridge of his nose, tired of Peter's antics, before pocketing them in his breast pocket.
"Kid, you're not getting away without talking about this."
The older man rolls his eyes as Peter ignores him, the latter robbing his way forward on the floor, apparently on a mission to put the two super-soldiers in their team to shame. But it still wasn't quick enough. Peter wriggles forward as if his life depended on it, blatantly ignoring the pair of shoes moving at the same pace next to his head as Mr. Stark walks reversely next to him, hands folded behind his back as he looks down at the teen with mild amusement.
"Having fun, kid? How's the air down there?"
The engineer shakes his head when he doesn't get an answer, not even a sarcastic or snappy remark from his mentee. The latter keeps wriggling with a determined look towards the door still ten meters away. "And Rhodey calls me stubborn. Peter, kid, come on. Stop being silly."
"Upfh!"
A tiny yelp escaped Peter's lips when he fell forward, courtesy of the polished dress shoe that pulled on the leg he had put on the ground in an attempt to stand up, only to fall flat on his stomach.
"Come one, Peter. This starts to get boring, doesn't it."
The teen doesn't need to see the man know that Mr. Stark is most likely rolling his eyes at him as he continues ignoring him, only to further shuffle forward on the floor.
"Friday, be a dear and give me and Mr. Parker some privacy."
Peter couldn't decide what let his heart beat faster, Mr. Starks words or the faint click of the door locking shut.
"Mr. Stark!"
The boy's eyes widen as the dress shoe from before pushes under his stomach. He gets flipped onto his back, gazing up at Mr. Stark standing above him with a raised eyebrow and a corner of his lip turned up in unsuppressed smugness.
Peter sucks in a breath at the sight.
"Mr. Stark, you look like a supervillain right now."
The man's lips qurik up as he strokes his clean-cut goaty.
"If it takes a supervillain to end this nonsense, I might as well adapt to that role."
"Mr. Stark, no!"
It doesn't take a lot for the man to kneel and grab the squirming boy's wrists, pinning them over his head with one hand.
"Are you ready to talk, Spiderman?"
Peter feels the adrenaline kicking in as his lips twitch upwards in anticipation, his eyes focused more on Mr. Starks free hand than the man's face. Mr. Stark notices the glance at his hand.
"You see this, webslinger?" asks Mr. Stark with a cold-toned voice that Peter hasn't heard the man using with anyone other than the press on a few occasions when reporters ask some too-invasive questions. He had even pulled the purple-tinted glasses back out and put them on, jumping at the chance to act like an actual villain, and Peter could only stare up at the man, feeling flabbergasted.
Sure, Mr. Stark could act playful.
But those mods were usually portrayed through a headlock with an easy way out, hair ruffling, and tons of jokes and banter. Occasionally, Mr. Stark tickles him during movie nights when Peter gets a little too sassy for the man's liking, ending with the teen nearly rolling down the couch giggling. Those moments usually last only a few seconds before Peter crawls back on the couch with Mr. Starks arm thrown over his shoulder, leaning against the man's side. Therefore, it was hardly surprising that Peter was a tad perplexed at the threat of getting tickled by his mentor. The latter seemed overly confident in getting Peter to talk, which results in the teen being curious and absolutely terrified at once. At least Mr. Stark didn't have super hearing, or he might have known just how effectively nervous his words alone were making Peter, going by how his heart was racing behind his ribcage.
Unaware of the conflicting emotions Tony has caused to tumble around his mentee's head, he continues playing his villain act with a worryingly amount of perfection. The man holds his free hand up for the teen to see, moving his fingers down one after another in a quick motion like some cheap magician before pulling a bunny out of his top hat.
"This is the only tool needed to get you chirping, Spidey," continues the man, looking at his hand as if it were some weapon he had built and was particularly proud of. It leaves Peter gulping heavily.
"You might ask yourself why this," Mr. Stark waves with his hand, "is the way to break you. Well, let me elaborate, my wall-crawling little friend."
Peter opens his mouth to interrupt the cliche of the villain explaining his evil master plan in front of the bound hero. He gets silenced by a raised eyebrow and quickly clamps his lips shut, letting Mr. Stark have his moment.
"I happen to stumble over some interesting information about you, Spiderling. Some would even say it is a bit of a weakness."
Oh gosh, Peter didn't like the way Mr. Stark was grinning down at him at all. The hairs on his neck begin to rise at the sight. Although his subconsciousness was aware of the lack of a threat, Peter's brain couldn't stop the funny feeling of anticipation from accumulating inside him, leaving his muscles tense as he could do nothing but wait for something to happen. It feels like just before his spidey sense kicks in, but without the wave of anxiety rolling over him. At this point, Peter wishes Mr. Stark would get over it, but the thought of asking the man to do something leaves the tips of his ears red in embarrassment. He feels like a child all over again, becoming flustered over something silly, like the prospect of getting tickled.
"From what I gathered, there are parts of your body which, despite your genetic altering, are rather-" Mr. Stark leaves a short pause between the following words as his lip twitches upward into a smug grin, "delicate."
Mr. Starks free hand shots downward.
Peter presses out a squeaky "noho!" while bringing his legs up to his chest to block the attack, eyes squeezing shut on instinct.
But nothing happens.
Peter lingers in that curled-up position, opening his eyes slightly to squint over his knees. The teen meets the highly amused grin of Mr. Stark, who wears the same expression as he does when he gets the affirmation of one of his more advanced calculations being correct, an expression of pure smugness.
"A bit skittish, are we?"
Before Peter could even think of an answer, Mr. Stark's hand found a way between his pulled-up legs and his middle, fingers digging without hesitance into his stomach. The sudden attack caught Peter off guard, the laughter pouring out instantly.
"Mr. Stahahark! Thahahahat's plahaying dihirty!"
The man tilts his head at his mentees' words, the latter trying to press his knees closer to his middle, but that did little to hinder the man from tweaking his sides, grinning at the little shriek it earns him.
"Oh, I didn't know this counts as playing to you. Might as well as much as you are enjoying yourself."
"I'm nohoht enjohohyinh anythIHIHng!"
Mr. Stark rolls his eyes and switches spots, his fingers working quickly on the teen's stretched-out underarms. Peter kicks his legs out at the ticklish jolt when blunt nails softly scratch over the fabric of his shirt that does little to protect his sensitive armpits. His laughter changes into cackling, and he tugs on his bound arms, actually managing to bring them down.
He only hears the click of a tongue, having shut his eyes when his armpits got attacked. He rolls on his side as soon as the tickling stops, trying to escape the attack, but gets stopped by a hand on his shoulder, effortlessly pulling him onto his back again. Not a second later, two hands are shoved up into his underarms, and begun to explore the spot, meticulously working on searching for weak spots. As soon as he found them, Mr. Stark kneads with his thumbs into the muscles, letting Peter jump with a squeak before bursting into another wave of loud laughter.
"NOHOO PLEAHAHASE! MR. STAHAHAHARK. Nohohot thehehere! I- I canahahan't ahahaha. I cahahahn't staAHAND ihiht, pleahashe nohohho!"
"That's unfortunate, as I don't show mercy to any of my enemies. And you, Spiderman, earned the privilege to stand on the top of my hit list."
He grins down at the teen who has his arms pressed to his side as much as his tied wrists allow it, body wriggling from side to side to avoid his hands, but Tony's fingers are following, never leaving up to pinch and flutter over all the places that bring out the sound of panic-laced giggles.
"No! No! Nonononono! ACK NOHO MR. STAHAHARK, NOHOHOHO!"
"Hm? What's this? Spiderman has a ticklish belly?"
Peter manages to sends a glare at his mentor. "I doho nohoht! J-just l leahaheve ihit alohohohne. Mr. Stahark, I sweaAHAHR, I- ohmygohohod dohohohnt!"
Peter lets out a high-pitched squeal as a finger dips into his belly button. His laugh goes silent for a few seconds, during which he arches his back as the ticklish feeling overwhelms him before he deflates into a heap of hiccupy giggles, begging Mr. Stark to do anything but please let his belly button alone. The man smirks down at the blushing teen. Tony would lie if he said he did not find Peter's reaction absolutely endearing.
"Now, that's just adorable. I almost feel bad having to end you."
"Youhuhu ahahre eheh- evil!"
"I beg to differ, Spidey. This -" Tony worms his finger into Peter's navel, wriggling it around teasingly and earning himself a snort followed by feet drumming against the floor behind him as the kid trashes around madly
"isn't evil. I'll show you what's really evil."
Out of breath and lying on his side, Peter, at first, didn't register what was happening, too busy to get back to pumping air into his lungs. When he finally glances up at what Mr. Stark is doing, the man is already gathering his feet in a headlock and pulling his tie around his ankles. Peter's eyes widened. He was about to yank his legs out of the hold, and he certainly would have managed to, but at that moment, Mr. Stark had already tightened the piece of clothing, successfully binding his legs. After giving it a closer thought, Peter's panic begins to subdue. A tie was no match for his strength. He could easily snap it if he wanted to.
"Before I forget it, that tie is a Christmas present from Pepper's parents."
Mr. Stark broke out in loud laughter at the sheer look of betrayal Peter sent his way.
"You are a monster, Mr. Stark."
Peter regrets the words as soon as his mentor grins at him before pushing him over, forcing the teen to lay on his stomach and pull his feet facing upward onto his lap.
"Finally, you are aware of the gravity of the situation, Spidey."
While talking, he let a single finger run down the arch of Peter's foot, grinning at the teen's toes curling up and the whole-body jolt the action brought. He repeats the action on Peter's other foot, getting the same reaction, which only encourages the man to let all his fingers, at once, drag over the wiggling soles. The feet in his lap squirm just as the rest of the teen trashes on the floor like an angry caterpillar, laughing his head off, occasionally shrieking when Tony pulls his toes back to scribble under them.
"NO! Nohohot the toes! Pleahase, anythihing buhut thahat."
Mr. Stark let up, giving the teen a short break.
"Not the toes, you say? Do you mean these toes? These ticklish little toes right here?" He takes one of them between his fingers, shaking them a little while speaking, but that is apparently enough to throw Peter into a giggle fit and try kicking him.
"Well, then I have to let these toes be. And tickle these instead."
True to his word, Mr. Stark left Peter's right foot in peace, only to jump onto the left one, resuming his relentless attack.
"ACK! I sahahaid NOT the toehes!"
"And since when do I listen to what my enemy tells me? Huh, Spidey, since when do we do that?" he teases the kid, letting up from his feet to pinch above his kneecaps. Peter shrieks and kicks his legs out as he laughs loudly, managing to roll onto his back. He quickly sets his legs up to press his soles against the gym floor, preventing Tony from getting a hold of them.
"You're trying to be smart about this? Well, what do you do about this then?"
Without pausing, Mr. Stark takes hold of the teen's wrist and softly but firmly presses them against the teen's chest to get them out of the way before pulling his shirt up, revealing his tummy.
Peter's eyes widen. He couldn't move much with his feet sticking to prevent whatever Mr. Stark was planning. He had an idea, but surely Mr. Stark wouldn't do something as childish as that.
Right?
Peter screams before hysterical giggles take over after the first raspberry is placed on his stomach.
"Nahaha, stahahahap. Nohot fahair, ihihihi thihihs isn't fahahahahair Mr. Stark!"
"Anything is fair in a fight with your enemy. Even this."
Mr. Stark places another long-lasting raspberry, making sure to shake his face into Peter's stomach as that elicits just the most adorable squeal he had ever witnessed from the teen.
"Now, what do you say, Spidey? Are you ready to fess up?"
Mr. Stark takes in the sight of his red-faced mentee with something akin to fondness. Peter's hair is messy from shaking his head from side to side, his chest heaving from laughing, and a wide grin spreads over his features. The teen surprises him as he squints at him from a position on the ground, a determined look on his face.
"Is that all you've got?"
Mr. Stark raises an eyebrow.
"Well, you brought this on yourself."
His head rushes down again, sending the teen into another ticklish frenzy. By the end of it, tears of mirth are gathering in the corner of Peter's eyes, which were Tony's clue to give up. Apparently, Peter didn't think his mentor would give up just yet, as he couldn't believe it when his hands and feet were free to move again.
"You're letting this go?" Peter stares wide-eyed at his free hands before directing his puzzled look at Mr. Stark, who flattens the wrinkles in his suit.
"As you are so determined to not let a word lose about it, I will let it slide." He sighs at the bewildered expression Peter sends him.
"I trust you, Peter. Whatever you have done must have been important, and I trust you would tell me if it wasn't, alright?"
Oh wow, now Peter feels like an idiot.
"Ehm, Mr Stark?"
The man in question glances at the teen, the latter rubbing the back of his neck with his eyes cast on the ground. Peter pulls his legs to his chest, biting on his lips as he wraps his arms around his knees, wanting nothing more than to be swallowed by the ground. He made such a big deal out of nothing, and now he has to admit to that and no other than Mr. Stark too.
His fingers tighten into the fabric of his pants before he finally finds the courage to confess to the man.
"I did it because I was embarrassed."
The words came out mumbled as Peter pressed his face into his knees.
"I didn't quite catch that, Peter."
Using his name and not some nickname meant Mr. Stark had caught onto the mood. The man slowly steps closer, making only a bit of a show of sitting beside Peter and muttering about his joints.
Peter licks his lips, glancing at Mr. Stark before directing his eyes onto a stain on his jeans before repeating himself.
"I was embarrassed. Do you remember that folder, emh, the- the one where you let Friday save all that dumb stuff that I did? In the lab? Well, I know you like to tease me about that, and I usually don't mind, and I don't want to come off as whiny. I know everyone teases everyone on the team, and that's cool, yeah. But, you know, sometimes, I-" Peter stops to take a deep breath. Mr. Stark keeps sitting next to him, listening in silence, and while Peter is thankful for it, he still can't look at the man.
"Sometimes I get this fear that you'll show that stuff to the others, and they'll make fun of me. I know that shouldn't bother me. I'm not a little kid or anything. But this stuff that happens in the lab, I don't mind you seeing me do dumb stuff because, well, that's you Mr. Stark, and I trust you, like sure you'll think I'm silly, but when it's you, I kinda don't mind that? But if the others know I blow up the lap three times a week, that makes me kinda uncomfortable because everyone always calls you, Dr. Banner, and me the smart ones, but what will they think of me when they see all the messes I produce daily? I'm supposed to be smart and not blow stuff up and- and stumble over stuff when I'm literally Spiderman and yeah, I guess I'm insecure about that. I'm really sorry I hacked into Friday to prevent more footage from being taken, Mr. Stark. That was dumb, and I should have known that it was a bad idea, really."
Peter lifts his head, finally meeting Mr. Starks eyes, who had been patiently waiting for him, witnessing him stumble over his words.
"I'm really sorry, Mr. Stark." Peter's voice grew quiet, close to a whisper.
He watches Mr. Stark running a hand over his face, a sigh escaping the man, and it causes Peter to tighten to hold on to his knees. He is taken by surprise at the weight of an arm thrown over his shoulder before he gets pressed into a warm body, melting into Mr. Starks side as the older man pulls him closer.
"Peter, I want to apologize for making you feel that way."
Peter opens his mouth to protest but gets cut off by a hand squeezing his shoulder.
"Uh uh, broadcast break for the Spiderling." The teen huffs in light amusement, and Tony takes it as his sign to go on.
"I want to apologize for taking it as far as it causes you to feel like you had to do something on your own rather than talk to me about it. I would have never shown it to anyone, but I should have considered that it could make you uncomfortable. I'll delete everything and stop Friday from saving further videos, alright?"
"You would do that for me, Mr. Stark?"
"Of course. I might be an asshole most of the time,"
"Language."
Tony raises an eyebrow at the rude interjection. His hand slips down to poke the teen in the side as a warning, which earns him a giggle.
"but I want you to feel comfortable and know you can trust me. That you can trust anybody on the team, okay?"
Peter nods with a small smile playing on his lips.
"Hey, Mr. Stark?"
"Yes?"
Peter grins up at the man.
"I'm really glad you're not a villain."
Mr. Stark squints at him before a sly smirk appears on his face.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that, Peter. We still haven't talked about the consequences of you creating a giant security breach."
Before Peter could crawl away, Mr. Stark had already slung an arm around the teen's middle, and for a third time that day, Peter's laughter echoed throughout the gym, this time a little brighter than before.

Cure For a Bad Day—MCU
No thots. Just a silly fluffy Irondad thought I had to turn into a story. :3 If you don’t like, don’t read. But if you’re here for Irondad fluff or just fluffy Marvel tickles, then come on in! OvO
Word Count: 5,000
Summary: After a rough week of school mishaps, Peter starts to doubt his future at being a good student and even being Spider-Man. It’s up to Tony Stark to remind Peter he’s still worth it, and bring back his mentor’s favorite smile. (This is a tickle fic duh, purely platonic)
Lee! Peter
Ler! Tony
If there was one thing Peter Parker was good at, was multitasking. How many other teens could juggle the responsibilities of high school while fighting crime almost every night in the not-so-friendly-neighborhood, and still manage to finish their homework on time for the next day?
Somehow he was able to do both.
But like any other student, he had his challenges. Like today, for example. Peter was in the middle of trying to finish a lab report essay for chemistry class. He was pretty stressed out, as he hadn’t had so much time to work on it for the past three weeks stopping midnight crimes and shenanigans almost four nights a week.
Now, here he was, hunched over at his desk, typing away at his laptop attempting to finish his lab report that was due tomorrow. He was mid-paragraph, stuck on page three out of the required five.
Normally, Peter would rack his science loving brain and throw something together quick, but tonight was different. He was having trouble figuring out more words and what to say in the report.
His eyes were starting to hurt from staring at his computer screen so long. His spine ached from being hunched over like a shrimp in his chair for hours. And his stomach growled; he had skipped dinner and was insistent with himself that he could have time to eat after he got his report done.
He looked at his bedside clock. 10:37pm. Oh come on! I’ll have to go to bed soon and I’m not even close to being done.
Peter sighed. Sometimes, his full time job being Spider-Man could really put a dent into his student life.
There was a knock at his door. “Peter? You alright?” the soft voice of his Aunt asked.
“I’m okay, Aunt May,” Peter stifled a yawn. “Just finishing up homework.”
“You said you were finishing up two hours ago.”
“Well this time, I mean it. I am almost done.”
“Alright if I come in?”
“Yeah. Go ahead.”
The sight of her tired, stressed, hunched over nephew saddened May. “Oh, Peter, you’ve been at that science report of yours all afternoon. Why not call it a night and get some rest?”
“I can’t,” Peter’s eyes stayed glued to his screen. The blinking curser that sat there unmoving for hours seemed to mock him. “I have to finish this tonight. This thing is worth a lot of my grade this semester.”
“Hmm, okay how about this?” May offered. “I’ll let you knock off school tomorrow, and send a note to your teachers that you’re out sick. It’ll give you an extra day to finish your report.” Her lips ruled into a soft grin. “Maybe after that, you and I can head off to the mall and buy you some more of those Squishables things you secretly like.”
Normally, Peter would laugh and jokingly say what a bad influence she was letting him cut school like that. But tonight, he didn’t even crack a smile. “No thanks. I’ll get this done before I go to sleep. Shouldn’t be much longer.”
Aunt May saw that tonight would be one of those nights where Peter wouldn’t budge out of his zombie induced state. So she decided to let him be. “Alright then,” she sighed. “Just please don’t stay up past midnight. I don’t want to get another phone call saying you slept through class and other kids decided to draw on your face.”
“Yeah, will do.”
And with that, she shut the door.
Peter rubbed his eyes with a sigh. “C’mon…c’mon…gotta finish. Ugh! Why can’t I finish?” The teen was just about to give up and call it quits when the hairs on the back of his neck and arms stood out on end. His Spidey tingle was going off!
Despite feeling achy and sluggish, he quickly stood up and tore off his clothes, slipping into his Spider-Man costume. He pulled his mask over his face and was about to jump out the window when he stopped himself.
Aunt May might come back to check if I really did go to sleep. Dang it! Ok uhh…oh wait! That’ll work!
Peter grabbed some day old clothes off the floor and shoved them under his blanket, pushing them into a sort of Peter-shaped lump. Hopefully, if his aunt came to check on him she wouldn’t look too closely.
Grabbing his phone, he hopped off the windowsill and swung out into the night.
By the time Peter managed to sneak back into his room through the window, he was exhausted. He felt like he was about to pass out as soon as he stepped into his bedroom.
He flopped onto his bed, lifting his Spidey mask off his sweaty face. He didn’t have the energy to take off his costume just yet. He was so tired.
He had stopped a home break-in coordinated by three criminals. Normally, a crime like a break-in was child’s play to Peter. But after spending the whole week fighting off crime and running on four hours of sleep, and topped with the stress of his recent assignment, Spider-Man suddenly didn’t have the energy to do a lot of fighting tonight.
His web-shooting was uncoordinated, one punch nearly knocked him out, and he appeared to be wobbly when he landed.
Even the criminals seemed to noticed how he wasn’t putting much of a fight, and taunted him while having their weapons pointed at the sleepy hero.
Peter barely managed to stop those three criminals, and earned himself a bruise on his jaw and knee. So by the time the boy made it home, the clock read 1:55am.
Peter wanted to scream in frustration. Well there goes another sleepless night, he thought as he quietly stripped himself out of his Spidey suit and grabbed a T-shirt from his floor pile.
He cringed as his brain calculated the few hours of sleep he would be getting again.
The next day at school turned out to be so much worse. First, Peter was late to his first class due to him sleeping through his many alarms he set for that morning. Next, he ended up forgetting his lunch—and even emergency lunch money—from rushing to get ready earlier. And then, as if that wasn’t enough to put him in a bad mood, he completely forgot about his lab report.
His stomach churned as he heard the teacher announce for everyone to hand in their reports to the front.
“Peter?” The voice of his best friend made him whip around.
“What is it, Ned?”
“What’s up with you?” Ned asked in a hushed whisper. “You look like you haven’t slept in a month, and you’re acting way jittery than normal.” Ned’s eyes widened. “Is it the spider sense?! Is there danger somewhere right now? Do you need me to come up with an excuse so you can get out of here?”
Peter could barely register his friend’s overlapping questions. “No, Ned, I don’t need anything. And it’s not that. I just…” he sighed, burying his face into his sweater covered arms. “Trouble in the neighborhood late at night, and I completely forgot to finish my lab report.”
“What?!” Ned whisper-shouted. “Y’know normally I’d scold you like your aunt does, but you look like you’ve been through enough already.” He put a hand on his friend’s shoulder. “Need me to make up some excuse? Save your skin at least a little?”
Peter shook his head miserably. “No point. I’m screwed enough as is here. Total failure.”
“Are you su—“
Their conversation was interrupted by the teacher snapping at them. “Parker? Your report, please.”
Uneasiness filled Peter’s stomach again. It felt borderline nauseous. He slowly walked up to the front desk. “I uh…don’t really have it physically with me right now.” He pointed towards his lab table. “I-It’s on my laptop.”
“Trouble printing it out?” The teacher asked.
“Something like that.” Peter could feel his cheeks growing warm.
The teacher sighed with a head shake. “Well then if you email it to me in the next three minutes, I’ll still give you credit. But next time, Peter, make sure you are able to find a reliable printing source ahead of time when you’re printing your reports. Don’t just try to print them last minute, that’s when these incidents happen.”
“Yes, of course.” Peter swallowed dryly as he shuffled back to his table. His fingers trembled as he opened his laptop, the unfinished pages of his lab report staring back at him. It felt like a punch to the gut. Well…something is better than nothing, right?
After school, the poor exhausted teen wanted nothing more than to go home, face plant onto his bed, and hope his mattress would swallow him up.
He was surprised to see a text message from Happy on his phone screen. Meet at the Avenger’s facility right after school. Your ride is waiting for you out front. New missions are heading your way. :) -Happy
New mission? That perked Peter up a little. At least he could forget about school for the weekend. Sulking in his room would have to wait. Right now, he was curious as to what sort of new mission awaited him at the Avengers’ headquarters!
The car trip didn’t take so much time. It did, however, leave the boy to replay the events that had just happened prior. He slumped in his seat. Suddenly, a new mission with the Avengers didn’t seem to excite him anymore.
Why can’t I just be more responsible? Peter bitterly asked himself. The other Avengers are able to juggle their normal lives and jobs and still manage to fight bad guys all without breaking a sweat. Heck, even Mr. Stark can do it. So why can’t I? *sigh* Am I really that bad of a student? What’s my future going to look like if I can’t even make it through high school?
Ugh! Why is your entire self worth and future determined by one stupid grade?!
Upon arrival, Peter didn’t seem as starry-eyed or ecstatic anymore. At least, that was the noticeable vibe Tony Stark noticed with his young mentee. He, in fact, looked in bad shape. Dark rings circled under his eyes, he looked disheveled like he had been sleeping under a bridge the whole week, and he seemed very anxious. Not the typical anxious-excitement Peter normally projected whenever he heard any mention of a potential new mission.
Tony wrapped an arm around the silently depressed teen. “So how goes it, kid? Survived another week of school?”
Peter scoffed. “Just barely.”
“I hear ya. But hey, cheer up. It looks like a certain web-slinging hero will be tagging along on more serious world-saving missions with the rest of us. Now how’s that upgrade for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man?”
The boy merely shrugged. “I guess it could be good for my rep. So long as I don’t screw anything up again.”
“Hey, look. You just made a couple mistakes, underoos. It happens to all of us when we’re starting out as heroes. But this a fresh start; a chance to really show the others and the world that your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man protects more than just the neighborhood and supermarkets. He protects the world, too.” He gave Peter’s shoulder a shake.
“Okay,” Peter said with a small sigh. Oh how he wished he could get back to sulking in his room right about now.
Tony started to grow more worried about his mentee that afternoon. He assumed the kid had a bad day at school or was simply tired after a long week, but this seemed much worse.
Peter didn’t go on mini gush-rants about random things. He didn’t spit out any science jokes or puns. He didn’t even quote any old movies. Peter Parker always quoted his vintage iconic quips and lines. It was like his second vocabulary—first vocabulary being talking in only Star Wars lines.
Something was really wrong. And Stark was not going to wait around any longer to find out.
When Tony finally found Peter, he was sitting upside down from the corner of the ceiling, the hood of his sweater almost covering his face, earbuds in and mindlessly scrolling through his phone.
“Peter?”
Said teen took his earbuds out. His gaze softened when he met eyes with his mentor. “Oh, hey Mr. Stark. What brings you here?”
“That’s just what I want to ask you, kid. What are you doing up there by yourself?”
Peter shrugged. “Bored.”
“Bored?! In the freakin’ Avengers’ facility?”
“Well, sorry. Guess I’m just a little too tired today.”
He’s trying to avoid my question, Tony thought. “A better question would be, why have you been moping around since you got here? Happy even said that you were so quiet in the car ride here. No offense, kid, but you’re never the quiet type. Especially around Happy. So what gives?”
The boy averted his game. “Nothing. It’s nothing. Just tired like I said. Y’know, keeping the neighborhood safe almost every night really drains your energy.”
“Cut the charades, kid,” Tony said firmly. “I wanna know what’s up with you. I’ve known you long enough to know that even with your nighttime gig as Spider-Man, you somehow always have enough energy to set Happy’s blood pressure spiraling, and annoy the rest of the Avengers with your weird vine refreshes and those picture things you call memes.”
Peter averted his gaze. How could he tell his mentor and biggest idol all the crappy events that took place that week? It wasn’t like it was a serious topic. It was just his own failure to be responsible.
“I don’t know,” he answered quietly.”
“Hmm…let me guess. Trouble at school?”
Peter looked up.” Maybe?”
“Alright, give me names here. A description of the punk. Who’s organs do I have to obliterate?”
“What? No, no, no, it’s not like that, Mr. Stark,” Peter quickly objected. “It’s just…rough days at school is all. And my student life.”
“I see. Want to come down from there and talk about it? I’ll have Happy make us some hot chocolate.”
“Alright.”
The warm hot chocolate was very comforting. After the long harsh week of events, a hot comforting drink was just what Peter needed. And it helped ease the hesitance he had earlier so he was able to come clean about what had happened.
“Wow,” Tony said, finally breaking the silence. “It sounds like the week really treated you terribly.”
“Tell me about it.” Peter fixed his gaze on his cup.
“Hey, listen, kid. You just had a bad week. Things will get better. You gotta believe that.”
The teen hero frowned. “How do you know I won’t keep failing? I’ve been screwing up nonstop this entire week. And even when I try to do better, everything always turns out worse. It’s like the universe hates me because I’m Spider-Man.”
Before Tony could respond, Peter kept talking. “And its so dumb, too. This whole situation. I’m sitting here whining about something that could’ve been avoidable if I had been a more responsible student. There’s no one to blame but me. And look at you, Mr. Stark. If you were in my shoes, you wouldn’t be a failing student just because you’re Ironman. I just want to do better, but I don’t feel like I can. And I know the school system doesn’t believe I can either.”
“Hey now, don’t say that,” Tony protested. “You’re a brilliant kid, Peter. Yes, you’re going to hit roadblocks along the way with your full time gig as Spider-Man and as a full time student, but you’re going to be fine. You just need a little encouragement. When you’re out there saving the neighborhood and face-to-face with an enemy that makes you feel like it’s hopeless, I’ve noticed that you never back down. No matter how difficult it is. This right here isn’t any different.
And if the crappy school system that’s been putting too much pressure on their students and treating them like garbage doesn’t believe in you, I do. I believe you can do it, Peter. You’re so much stronger than you think you are.”
Peter almost wanted to tear up at the words his mentor was telling him. Damn, he really was good at this inspirational uplifting speech thing. Maybe even better than Captain America.
He couldn’t stop the tears, though. He had been feeling so emotional this entire week and after hearing Tony freakin’ Stark rant about how he was worth it despite everything he was feeling, Peter really needed to let some tears out.
Seeing the boy’s eyes fill with tears made Tony panic. Had he made the kid feel worse with his words? “Oh god, are you alright? Did i go too far with that?”
Peter let out a breathy laugh. “No, no, you’re good.” He sniffed, and wiped his tears with his sweater sleeve. “Sorry I got emotional back there. Your uplifting speech just got me teary-eyed. Thanks, Mr. Stark. I guess I really needed to hear that.”
Tony gave the teen’s shoulder a comforting squeeze. “Anytime, kiddo. Glad I could help. Now, I do want to help out with your school problem a little so you’re not feeling traumatized Monday morning.”
The boy tilted his head like a curious puppy. “Huh? What do you mean help out?”
“Well I sort of did a little research on what your next assignments for the week are going to be on for your classes. And I took the liberty to have FRIDAY complete next week’s assignments so you’ll have the entire week off to not worry about your homework.”
“You…wait, are you saying that you had FRIDAY hack into my teachers’ lesson plans and did all my homework for me?!”
Tony nodded, stirring his half drunk mug with a spoon. “Yup. Your homework’s done with all the right answers so it’ll guarantee to bring your grades back up to an A+.” He paused. “Well, an A- to make it seem like you did it.”
Peter didn’t know if he should feel grateful or disbelief. “I-I…thank you? I guess?”
Tony smirked. “What, that’s it? I do you a favor here so you can have the week off. You can have more time to focus on your web-slinging career, or use the extra time to take a nap in home room, or stare at girls more between classes.”
Peter blushed at that last comment. “Okay, fine. Thank you, Mr. Stark. I really appreciate it.” For the first time that week, Peter smiled. A genuine warm smile. Then his face melted to concern. “Wait…do you think that it’s cheating?”
“Uhh….nah,” Tony assured him with a wave of his hand. “Hey, as long as it gets you the grades you deserve. Besides, you aren’t even going to use 90% of the crap they teach you in school. You’re gonna forget it immediately anyways.”
Peter giggled, covering his mouth with his sleeve. “Oh my god, Mr. Stark. You’re just as a bad influence as May.”
“Good! Maybe you can learn something here about all the shortcuts and loopholes to high school.”
“There are noho loopholes or shortcuhuhuts to high school!”
“Hell yeah there are! How do you think I got to where I am today?” Tony gestured to himself. “You think all of this happened by being a full time student? No way. High school did nothing to help me be who I am today. All it did was give me anxiety, student debt, and unrealistic expectations on what I needed to thrive in the real world. Oh yeah, high school teaches you nothing on how to adult or pay your bills. But hey, at least they teach you that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, right?”
Peter could not stop his giggles anymore. His giggles turned to laughter, and even while trying to muffle them through his sleeves, Tony could see the corner of his smile and the blush that dusted his cheeks.
It was always so easy to make the kid laugh, and Tony always liked to take advantage of it every time.
“Y-You’re terrihihible, Mr. Stark!” Peter said through his bright laughter. “A bahahad influence! Y-You’re even worse thahahn Loki!”
“Excuuuuse me?!” Tony pretended to be offended. He sat up, scraping the chair back, which made Peter’s eyes widen in alarm.
“Wait, no!” Peter surprised Tony by flipping onto the ceiling. “Don’t—Don’t tickle me, Mr. Stark!” Peter had had enough recent experience knowing what that look meant every time Tony got up from his seat. Having his own mentor know of his one dreaded weakness—the fact that he was insanely ticklish—and using that to mess with him anytime he got depressed or a little too snarky always flustered him to bits.
Tony grinned up at the spider teen on the ceiling. “Huh? Tickle you? Now why on earth would I do that? Oh right, because your ticklishness got dialed up to eleven from the spider bite. Isn’t that what you told me?”
Peter’s blush darkened. “S-Stop saying that so casually! I now what you’re up to!”
“Hey, I’m not up to anything. And honestly, I wasn’t going to tickle you.” A sinister smirk spread across his mentor’s face. “But since that was the first thought that crossed your mind…”
Peter’s tummy did fluttery flip flops. “Oh c’mon!! Mr. Stark nohoho! Dohohon’t you dare!”
“Too late. FRIDAY, a little help?”
“Yep. On it.”
The poor flustered teen squealed in alarm as one of Tony’s Ironman suits came flying over to him, trying to pry him off the ceiling. It was surprisingly easy, as Peter was already too giggly and flustered to concentrate on his sticking to the ceiling.
With Peter off the ceiling, he was dumped ungracefully onto the floor in front of Tony where the Iron suit immediately grabbed and pinned the kid’s wrists above his head.
“What the—FRIDAY you traitohohor!” Peter squawked. He pulled on his wrists, internally pouting that his spider strength wasn’t working in that moment.
“Hey now, don’t you insult FRIDAY,” Tony playfully scolded with a poke to the boy’s stomach. Peter squeaked at the touch. “We’re just here to help you out. I know how rough it’s been with school lately, and I don’t want to lose my underoos just because of that. You’ve been real upset ever since you got here and I know you’ve been upset all week. So no more of that now. You should know the Avengers’ facility is a no-sadness zone!”
And with that said, Tony right away scribbled both hands into his kid’s belly, making Peter screech.
“EeeAAAHAAaahahaaa! HeHEHE—Heyyyy! No faHAHAhahair!” Peter thrashed and kicked, instinctively trying to pull his arms down to no avail. “Mr. Stahahark! Nohoho pleasHEEAheeheehease!”
“Sorry, no can do, kiddo,” Tony casually answered over his mentee’s squeaky laughter. “I haven’t seen my underoos’ favorite smile in forever so I’m making up for lost time!”
“B-But nohohot like tha—HAAAHA! Heheheyyy!” Peter arched his back as Tony’s fingers crept up to his ribs. His blush now spread to the tips of his ears. He was cursing internally at how his Spidey strength was suddenly no longer there as he was laughing like a maniac.
Any other intense situation, Spider-Man would be able to easily get himself out of, but this was different. The ticklish sensations buzzing throughout his nervous system plus all his laughing was sapping any strength he had left, including his spider strength.
As Tony let his fingers inch closer to the teen’s underarms, he was playfully shocked when Peter tried to bite him. He pulled his hands back with a gasp.
“Whoa! What the heck was that?! What are you, a biting tarantula now?”
“You were getting too close to my armpits!” Peter shot back.
“Ohhhh I see.” Tony flashed him an evil grin that reminded Peter of that creepy, murderous knife-hiding doll from that 80s movie that always came back from the dead. “That’s your death spot, isn’t it?”
Peter shifted uncomfortably, his blush darkening. “N-No..?”
“Wrong answer.”
“AAAAAAHHERRHWHRHFEAAHAAAAAHAAAHA!! No Mr. Stahahahark!! NAAAHAHAHAO!!” Peter squirmed like a fish out of water, his body instinctively trying to twist away from Tony’s evil scribbling fingers. But no matter which way he turned, it didn’t help much. Tony’s fingers seemed glued to his hollows.
“EEEEAAAAHEHEEHHAAAA!! M-MR STAHAHARK!! IT…IHIHIT REALLY TIHIHAHAHA TIHIHICKLES BAAAAHAHAHD!!”
“That’s the point, kiddo! It’s more—whoa! You are just extra kicky today, aren’t you? FRIDAY, a little help here?”
“NOOOHOHOHO!”
Tony and FRIDAY had switched places; FRIDAY grabbing ahold of Peter’s flailing legs while Tony grabbed the boy’s wrists in one hand. Even as the two switched places, Tony couldn’t help but notice how Peter wasn’t putting up a fight to get away. He could’ve easily gotten up and bolted the second they let go of his limbs, or curl up with his arms wrapped around his torso so they couldn’t bring his arms up anymore, but he just laid there with a silly smile and blushy cheeks. Almost as if he secretly wanted this to keep going.
Tony had to ask the billion dollar question. “Y’know Pete, despite all your complaints, you’re not even putting up a fight to stop me or FRIDAY. Could it be because…you actually like this? You like getting tickled?”
Peter fell silent. He looked anywhere but his mentor’s eyes. He opened his mouth to answer but all that came out was stutters and keyboard smashes.
Tony raised an eyebrow. “Really? Look, I’m barely holding down your arms here and you’re not even trying to get away!” Peter’s face felt like was on fire now. “You know you can easily break out of my grip—even FRIDAY’s—and hightail it outta here, buuuut…I’m starting to think you don’t want to. Am I right or what?”
“I-I…” was all that came out of Peter’s mouth. Finally, he sighed and locked eyes with his mentor. His flustered, trembling lip suddenly curled into a crap-eating grin. With a defiant smirk, Peter stuck his tongue out. “Bite me, old man!”
Tony’s mouth formed a perfect O. Oh the kid was so asking for it! Recovering in a millisecond, Tony cracked his knuckled for dramatic effect. “That’s it! You’re finished, kid! You know I’m sensitive about my age!”
Peter actually had the nerve to stick his tongue out at him again.
Okay, so maybe truthfully he didn’t want this playful attack to cease. It was a great stress reliever after the rough week he endured. And if Peter wanted to dig a little deeper into it, while he was being tickled to pieces and screeching at frequencies only dogs should hear, he couldn’t think of all the bad things that had happened—his lab report incident, academic pressure, or even any general insecurities he had as Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
All he could think about in the heat of the moment was the playful ticklish feeling, the waves of dopamine, and the pure fun bonding vibe. So despite all the squealing and squirming, Peter was genuinely having fun. He’d be bummed if Tony stopped so soon. So he had to provoke his mentor some more to keep the fun going.
And that’s just what he did.
Oh, but if only FRIDAY hadn’t been traitorous enough to actually look up other sorts of tickling methods and suggest them to Tony to use against Peter.
“W-Wait! Wahahahit!! NonononoAAAAAAHAHAHEEHEHAHAAAA!! EEEEEHHAAAHAEHE!! THAT FEEHEEHEEHEELS AHAHA—AWFUFUFUL!! *snort* NAAAAAAHEHEAAHAAAAHAHAAA!!”
“Did you just snort, kid?!”
“N-Nohoho!! Shuhuhut uhuhup!! AAAAH! Waitwaitwait!! I tahahahake it baHAAAAAAHAHAAAAA!!”
Better hope that none of the Avengers nor his enemies finds out about Spider-Man’s adorable little weakness.

Summary: Peter is currently working with Tony in the lab, Tony seemed stressed over the coming Christmas celebration and Peter can’t concentrate with his mentors grumbling. Enjoy!
Break time, webbing and play time
Peter would call himself lucky, his mentor was the one and only Tony Stark! He got to work with him in the lab and even if they didn’t work together they worked along side each other.
However there was times like now where his Mentor forgot everything around him and seemed to get frustrated about the thing he was working on, so much so that he sighed and grumbled to himself.
The young spiderling eyed his mentor, this was probably the twentieth sigh that had left the man’s mouth now— and it hadn’t even been 10 minutes! It made Peter sigh internally, with his mentor standing hunched over the table and pen tapping the surface he could hardly concentrate either.
He looked over at the paper Tony was hunched over, noticing the small Christmas ornaments on it. Right Morgan had requested the paper for her wish list after seeing it on the Christmas market and now they had way too many left.
A small smile pulled on Peter’s features, remembering the little ones antics with her father. Peter’s eyes fell to the web shooters, hearing another sigh. His smile faded, he had to make Tony take a break somehow.. sure Christmas was approaching quickly but we was sure he could add some things to the list if Tony would just let him help.
Peter looked over at the man again, talking would probably only annoy him further. What could he do..?
His gaze flew through the room, landing on the couch which conveniently stood right behind the man. The couch had originally been brought here by Misses Potts to make sure the two would take breaks and not overwork themselves over and over again and come home grumpy.
Peter glared at the new web fluids. These were for training and dissolved a little quicker, surely enough for a small break. He huffed a smile. The plan forming in his head was bold, awfully so but it might just work.
He quickly exchanged the fluids and walked towards the couch.. one try to talk about this won’t hurt.. “Mister Stark?” He asked carefully. “Not now kid and it’s Tony..” he corrected, not lifting his gaze.
The teen smirked and jumped behind the couch before shooting a web right at the man’s back and yanking him backwards into the pillows of the couch- “WHA- Peter!” Tony yelped and glared at the smiling boy. “Sorry Mister Stark” he said with a ever so small hint of sympathy which leaked through his sly grin. “Again Pete, it’s Tony” he huffed.
Peter quickly webbed the man’s torso as well as he jumped back over the couch to stand in front of the man “but sighing every five minutes and frowning like that probably won’t do you any good.” He said, remembering the few times Tony had told him this. “Neither will webbing me to the cough, so let me go.” The man growled, yet a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth, taking away the bite in his words.
“Sorry Mister Stark not happening” his mentee said and poked a free spot on the man’s ribs, not noticing the small flinch. “Plus I’m just making sure Misses Potts couch is getting rightfully used” he said with a small grin, a playful glint in his eye as he went to stand up straight. “I’m sure she’d be happy to know that you’re taking your breaks.” He added with feigned innocence
Pete quickly skipped over to the list “and don’t worry it’s the new solution it’s supposed to dissolve a little quicker.” He called while scanning over the list.
He hummed a little, the ideas Tony had written down seemed basic enough.. grabbing a new paper and writing down some new ideas, he didn’t notice that the man behind was actively plotting to get him back after that stunt.
In fact Tony kept so quiet that when Pete went back to work on the new formula he had completely forgotten that the man was even there.
Tony knew the boy wanted the best for him but practically webbing him to the couch without a warning? And the poke that almost gave away his ticklishness? He’ll need to come up with something to teach the kid to use his words.. and maybe offer a different way of telling each other to take a break.
Tony waited until Peter gave a sigh of his own. By now boy was scanning the paper and holding a small solution over the other. The webs which held Tony had long been dissolved and only stained the couch ever so slightly. He walked up behind him “need help?” Peter yelped, and turned around with a start, dropping the solution in the process. “m-mister stark!” He huffed. The man chuckled at the pout his student gave him, “sorry did I scare you?” He grinned. Peter huffed and turned back around, eyes widening when the solution started to bubble and set off his Spidey sense “DUCK!”
Tony did— Spidey got sent flying to the ground with the new web solution which exploded mere seconds after the call. It took a few seconds until the fluid stopped, now decorating the whole lab.
“Gee kid, are you alright?” Tony called and rushed over to him. Pete grumbled, a little sore from the fall “yep, I’m good” he said and gave a small thumbs up.
Tony huffed a smile, his student was covered in web fluid, only a few spots were free. “Can you get out by yourself?” He asked and crouched next to him. Seeing the boy struggle and wiggle to break free he already had a feeling that he had to get a small knife.
Peter huffed and took another deep breath before trying again- yet his tries were futile.
“Nope, nope definitely stuck.” He said and let his head fall back onto the ground. Tony chuckled “alright hold on Kid” he said and got a pocket knife out of his back pocket before getting to work.
Tony peeled Parker off of the floor and got him to sit on the couch, then he quickly went and got the dissolvent from Peter’s desk.
“Man, this stuff is awfully sticky” Peter huffed and raised his arm, seeing his webbing move ever so slightly.
He watched Tony join his side and open the small bottle “heh, more then your normal webs I assume?” Peter nodded “way more!” He exclaimed before feeling a little bit of liquid run down his back- making him shiver “Sorry, It’s still cold but it shouldn’t take longer then a few minutes.” Stark said as he made sure to get most of his torso before moving on.
He sighed and knelt down, hand squeezing Peter side to support his balance. What he didn’t expect was his Mentee to Yelp and clamp his hand over his mouth and jump in a frenzied motion.
“Are you okay? Did you get injured from that explosion?” He asked and looked up at the boy.
Peter flushed— no he didn’t get hurt, but he’d never tell his mentor and idol that he just accidentally tickled him! “No, no, just surprised me is all” he mumbled and averted his gaze.
Tony raised an eyebrow, he had moved slow, there was no way that reaction came from his movement. As he continued to free Peter from his webbing things started to click into place and a small smile tugged at his lips, which was completely missed by the boy who still looked away with a tiny blush on his face.
“Alright” Tony hummed when the last bit of webbing dissolved and he closed the dissolvent. Peter smiled “thanks Mister Stark!” Nodding he kept Pete from getting up. “Mister Stark?” Tony pat his shoulder as he stood up “if I have to take a break so do you kid” he said and a small traitorous grin tugged at the corners of his mouth. Peter raised an eyebrow, that’s not how that worked.
He crossed his arms “but I’m fine!” Tony raised an eyebrow “are you really though? You just got flung to the ground, maybe you hurt yourself and aren’t telling me again” he said hinting to his side.
Peter grumbled “I’m not hurt, really” Tony huffed and squeezed his side “no?” He asked watching the kid squeak, grab at his hand while his legs shot up and he squeezed his eyes shut with a bright smile.
Tony chuckled silently at his mentees giggles. “I don’t understand Pete, what’s so funny? If you’re hurt that’s a serious problem!” He huffed. Peter squeaked when the second hand attacked his other side with squeezes making him fall back into the couch. “mIHihister StAhAhark!” He called though his bubbly giggles and growing blush.
“Im right here Pete but you need to let me have a look!” “nOhohooooo!” The boy whined before finding the strength to throw himself off of the couch “woah-!” Tony gasped and his stomach dropped. He quickly leaned over the couch to see the kid scramble up with a grin, showing him that he wasn’t hurt. Relief washed over him before the playful smirk re-emerged on his lips.
“Run”
Peter yelped and scrambled off of the ground, darting out of the lab with anticipating giggles— Tony right behind him
The boy grinned, he hadn’t played like this in a long while. The fact that Tony was actually up to play with him was as exiting as it was flustering.
Tony chuckled as their feet stomped on the ground, Peter’s lighter then him which clearly made the teen even more nervous.
The boy rounded a corner into the main room where a couch stood in the middle of it all. He rushed around and grinned at his mentor giddily. Tony stood at the other side of the couch, he was loving this just as much as Peter was. It was adorable how the boys cheeks flushed and small bubbly giggles escaped him even though he tried biting them back “naw kid we can’t have that~! Let me have a look at your sides- oh and your back too, that’s what you landed on earlier, right?”
Peter huffed a giggle “IHi’m not hurt-! TONY!” he squeaked when the man suddenly moved making him jump and run to avoid his playful mentor- however one and a half laps around the couch the boy got thrown back and the two wrestled— Peter with childish giggles and a beaming smile and Tony with a adoring, playful and Sly smirk.
“NoHOho! MiHister StahAhrk!” Peter struggled against his mentors hand which kept him in place- usually he wouldn’t have any problem getting out but his unstoppable waterfall of giggles weakened the poor hero drastically… and he was silently enjoying himself, although he’d never admit to that.
Then Tony’s hand latched onto Peter’s lowest rib which made the poor kid squeal and buck with hysterical giggles “honestly Pete, you need to let me check! It’s no use if you keep squirming like this!” Tony said with a teasing edge to his voice “BuHUt IHI’m noHOhot huHUhurt!” Peter protested.
His mentor tutted and moved up and down his sides, scribbling from his abdomen all the way to one of the higher ribs, noticing how the squirming picked up.
Tony grinned “do we have a little tickle spot up there~?” “NOHOho!” The answer came way too quickly and Peter’s cheeks tinted in a little brighter red. Tony stopped and hummed “you sure about that?” Peter nodded, anticipating giggles rushed though his few gulps of air.
“So you wouldn’t mind if we were to play a game?” Without waiting for Peter he placed a finger on the boys rib cage “round and round the garden like a teddy bear…” he sang and traced circles.
Peter shook his head and embarrassed yet happy giggles flew out of his mouth, no matter how hard he tried to protest or keep his mouth shut they just kept on coming “one step…” Tony said warningly. Peter looked at him, the almost sly and sinister grin sent shivers down his spine “noHoho nononohoho! MiHihister— STARK!” “Two step” Tony completely ignored the plea and the squeak he got in return only made him want to go on. “Tickle under THERE!”
Peter went ballistic, head thrown back, bucking and squirming left and right as his legs kicked out thanks to the merciless scribbling that sent ticke shocks through his whole body.
Tony chuckled at the sight, he’s never seen Peter let go like this, it was as amusing as it was adorable.
Hearing the kid wheeze he let up. “OhOho god” Peter giggled and looked at his mentor with slightly crinkled eyes. “You’re ruhuthless”
His mentor hummed down at him “you’re just incredibly ticklish” “mist- EHEHehEhHEe!” Peter squealed when fingers drilled into the dip of his hips. “Try again” his mentor grinned “ToHOhonEHEhe!” Peter called out and stark let up.
He smiled at the boy, his hair was completely disheveled, the blush covered his ears cheeks and neck, tiny tears of joy were at the corners of the boys eyes and he was breathing heavily with stray giggles.
Tony let the boys arms go and Peter curled up “ehEhe thahat wasn’t fahair!” Tony poked his unprotected back making the male jump “neither was webbing me to the couch” “sohorryy~” Peter whined through an amused giggle “you ready to take a break?” To Tony’s amusement a shimmer of playfulness played in the teens eyes as he eyed the billionaire.
“Or what~?” He teased
Big mistake.
Tony immediately grabbed the boys arm and pinned them above his head. The other hand hovered over the boys armpit.
Peter’s squeaky giggles picked right back up and he gave tony a panicked yet exited look. “Or else the tickle monster is gonna come back~” tony grinned. Peter shook his head “Noho he won’t!”
Then the hand fell. The boy squealed and curled up, shutting his eyes tight with giggles already pouring out of him.
Yet nothing happened.
Peter opened at eye noticing the smirk tony wore which made his stomach flip in anticipation. The boy whined “JuHUHust do it ahalready!”
Tony chuckled “my pleasure”
Then Peter threw his head back with full out cackles a second time that day. It was safe to say that Peter’s giggles and laughter went through the tower a lot more often~

Hey Teddy:) sorry it took so long, writes block was a real pain but I'm back.
I hope you like it 💜
You were sitting in the avengers tower living room, playing a game on your phone with music blasting in your ears.
Suddenly a slap was delivered on the back of your head and you turn around, seeing your Dad Tony stark standing there with a grin.
"What was that for"?! You yell with a pout as you rub the back of your head.
"you weren't listening and aren't you a little to old to pout"? He chuckled
"Aren't you a little to old to play superhero" you say with a mischief grin and turn back to your phone.
"Careful there young lady, i might just have to TICKLE that attitude out of you" Tony whispered in your ear knowing that you were ticklish by your ear.
"Oh really? I could easily escape you old man" you giggled.
It was silent for a while until you heard a whisper against your ear "You have five seconds to run"
You didn't need to be told that twice, you jumped up from the couch and ran down the halls of the tower.
Giggling madly you heard Tony coming closer, the pounding of his footsteps only made you run faster as you slide around a corner. The lab doors came in view and you knew you could just lock yourself in there until your Dad went on his way again.
You almost made it to the doors when two pairs off arms wrapped around your waist and pulled you against Tony's chest.
"Gotcha" Tony said with a grin and traced his fingers over your ribs.
You were already giggling and tried to wiggle free but to no success, he wrestled you to the ground and sat on your legs to pin you to the ground. He immediately went for one of the worst spots.
Your underarms.
"Your such a Jerkhihihi nohahahahh" you squirm around in his arms as you giggle madly.
"There are those sweet giggles of yours" Tony said with a grin and tasered your sides with both hands.
You threw your head back as your giggles went to full on belly laughter "YOUR EVIL"!!
"I know" he chuckled darkly and traced a finger over your belly.
"hihihi" your laughter calmed down a little so you could breath, giving you one chance to escape.
So that's what you did, you wiggled around in Tony's arms but he was already faster then you, he lowered you to the ground and sat down onto your upper legs to pin you down.
"Your not going anywhere you little troublemaker" he said with a smirk and turned around on your legs so he was facing your feet.
"Don't you darHAHHAAHA DADHAHAHAH NOHIHIHI" you laughed your head off and trashed around as he scribbles over the sole of your feet.
"What's the matter? Can't handle a little tickling" Tony said with laugh and switched to scribble his fingers under your knee caps.
"OKAY OKAY I'M SORRYHAHAHAHA" you laughed loudly and kicked out your feet.
"You promise not to call me a old man again"?
"I PROMISHIHIHIHI"!
He scribbles one more time under your knees and then got off of you "Your adorable" Tony said with a soft smile.
"and your evil" you giggled and curled up in a ball to get rid of the ghost tickles.
"Aww you love me" he said in a sing song voice and pulled you to your feet.
"Yeah i do, love you Dad" you smiled and Tony hugged you tightly.
"Love you too, Teddy bear" he smiled and kissed the top of your head.
Tony stark may be a genius, billionaire, Playboy, philanthropist. But he was also your Dad.
And you wouldn't want it any other way.

I would love to see your take on this prompt if you wanted
The Breakfast Fate
Summary: See prompt above 😁
(Okay, this is so cute! ❤️ I hope you like it Anon and I'm sorry there's not a lot of tickling ❤️ There's another prompt that was sent in that ties into this one really well . . . Maybe a potential sequel? 🤔 Enjoy! :))
When Peter and Harley had agreed to a sleepover at the Stark residence, a smoke alarm wake up call wasn't how they pictured today to go. Yet here they were, bolting awake at 7 am to the sound of blaring alarm.
Harley rubbed his eyes as he tried to untangle himself from his blankets. "What's going on?"
Morgan poked her head out of her blankets. "Are there bad guys?"
Peter jumped up. "No that's the fire alarm!"
Harley was on his feet in an instant. "In the lab?"
"I don't think so!"
While the two hurried out of the room, Morgan struggled out of her blanket nest. "Wait for me!"
Harley's eys widened as he scrambled back to grab her. "Come on Morgan."
The three kids ran out of the room and into the living room. Here the alarm was the loudest.
Peter covered his ears. "That sounds like it's coming from up here!"
"Then it's not the lab?" Harley asked.
"I don't know!"
Morgan covered her own ears. "It's loud!"
"Yeah that's an alarm for ya!" Harley hefted her up. "What triggered it?"
"I don't know! Where's Tony?"
Suddenly, a loud bang made all three of them jump. From the kitchen came a string of curses followed by another bang.
The three kids raced into kitchen to find Tony dunking a pan into a sink full of water. A loud hiss followed by a big cloud of smoke and steam followed up. "Friday! Turn off all fire alarms!"
"But sir, smoke is still detected in the kitchen."
"I know, turn it off!"
Finally, silence settled throughout. With a sigh of relief, both Morgan and Peter dropped their hands.
Harley spoke first. "What the heck just happened?"
Tony whirled to see the three kids standing in the kitchen. "Welp, morning everyone."
"Tony, what were you doing?" Peter asked.
The older scientist pinched the bridge of his nose. "Well I was trying to make pancakes and it did not end well."
"Obviously," Harley muttered.
Morgan giggled. "Daddy mahade aha mehess."
"No, I just burned a couple pancakes."
Peter picked up a piece of bacon. "More than just pancakes."
"Pfft! Wohow, the great Tony Stark can make ahany chemical compound, on the molecular level too, but he's baffled byhy eheggs."
Tony flicked a piece of charred bacon at the older boy. "Ungrateful."
"We appreciate the thought Tony." Peter dropped the bacon back on to the plate. "But we are making fun of your cooking skills."
"You don't even know how to cook."
"That's not true!" The young teen crossed his arms. "I can so make Ramen!"
Harley set Morgan down. "And without turning it to dust."
The older scientist arched one eyebrow. "You're pushing it."
Meanwhile, Morgan tugged on her father's sleeve. "I'm hungry Daddy."
"Us to Morgan, but we currently have no food to eat." Harley held up a burned pancake. "Tony burned it all."
"I didn't burn it all!"
"Then what do you call this?"
The older scientist crossed his arms. "Well done."
Morgan tugged her dad's shirt sleeve again. "But Daddy, what are we going to eat?"
The older two chuckled as Tony huffed. They were just genuinely having a laugh while not hurting their mentor's feelings.
It seemed like Tony enjoyed the laugh too as a wide grin overtook his face. "Look, I'm sorry about the food. To make it up, why don't I get us some raspberries and we'll enjoy them on the couch?"
Morgan jumped up and down. "Yay! Raspberries!"
Something about Tony's smile made Peter's spider sense tingle. "I don't know about this."
An arm was slung around his shoulders. "Come on Pete, would I deceive you?"
The young teen stepped out of the hold. "Yes."
With a huff, Harley yanked his surrogate brother toward the living room. "It's fine Pete."
"B-but---!"
"Don't worry Peter." Tony grinned even wider as the three headed to living room. "Everything's going to be okay."
"Yeah, that's not reassuring."
Harley playfully pushed the young teen's head. "Don't be such a worry wart Pete."
Morgan eagerly hopped on to the couch. "Daddy's getting raspberries for breakfast!"
Peter crossed his arms. "Why would he have raspberries?"
"To put on the pancakes," Harley shot back.
"But why?"
"Cause some people like to put fruit on their pancakes."
"But don't people normally put strawberries on them?"
Harley pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't know, maybe they were on sale. Do you have to question everything?"
Peter crossed his arms. "Only when I have suspicions."
While the older two glared at each other, Morgan gently pulled her surrogate brother toward the couch. "It's okay Petey, Daddy won't hurt us."
"I know he won't hurt us, but there's other things he can do---."
Whatever Peter was going to say became promptly cut off by a tackle. The young teen thudded to the ground with Tony on top of him.
"Ack!"
"You were right underoos."
"Tony?"
The older scientist pinned him to the floor. "You should have been suspicious."
"Tony, what are you doing?" Harley demanded.
"Giving Peter some raspberries."
The young teen's eyes bugged as Tony rolled up his shirt. "Wait! Wahait! Tony nohoOOO! YOHOU JERK!"
The other two went wide eye as they watched Tony blow multiple raspberries into Peter's tummy. Peter had been right. The scientist hadn't been talking about edible raspberries, he had meant the raspberries that turned Peter into a cackling squirming mess right before them.
Peter squealed. "RUHUN!"
Immediately, Harley and Morgan bolted from the room with Peter's squeals echoing in the background.
Once the teen was breathless, Tony let him go as he collapsed on to the floor. "You good?"
Peter kicked at Tony. "Yohou suhuck."
"Funny." The older scientist ruffled Peter's hair. "I never heard you tell me to stop."
The tips of Peter's ears flamed bright red. "Shuhush!"
"What? Ihi think it's adorable." The older scientist kissed Peter's forehead. "But remember this the next time you make fun of my cooking."
"Ihits not myhy fault yohou buhurn everythihing!"
"No, but you can keep your comments to yourself."
Tony helped his mentee up as the last of his giggles died down.
Peter let out a playful groan. "Why mehe?"
"You picked up on it first. Plus you can use those webs to get away easier."
"So you took me ohout whihile my guard was dohown?"
"Gave myself a tactical advantage Pete." The older scientist gave him one last hair ruffle. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got two other kids I have to find."
"Have fuhun," Peter replied before pulling himself up onto the couch. "I'm gonna take a nap."
Tony chuckled and took off down the hall. "Sleep tight."
Needless to say, Peter slept through every squeal that followed.

Tickletober 2022 - Day 5: Punishment
A/N: Thank you to @softaneasy who requested this one. Truthfully, I do not ship Stony, nor do I like writing the character of Steve Rogers. And I was initially gonna turn this prompt down. But the writing angel/demon living inside me told me to go outside my comfort zone for this Tickletober. So here we are!
Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Characters: Steve Rogers, Tony Stark
Tony had been acting a bit too snarky at the team meetings nowadays. At first, the crew chalked it up to a bad hair day or waking up on the wrong side of the bed. But after it persisted for three or four meetings, it was clear there was something larger looming over the billionaire philanthropist.
Steve approached Tony after the fifth team meeting where he sent everyone off scoffing, particular Natasha this time. Normally unphased by Tony's words, this meeting's aim had been directed mostly at her.
"Hey," Steve stopped Tony from exiting and they were the only two left in the room, "Do I have to ask?"
"Maybe you do, cap. Be a little more specific."
"Why are you a raving asshole lately?"
The language took Tony by surprise and actually got a grin out of him, "Productivity has been well below average, trying to boost morale by tearing everyone down first, so they can eventually rise together to fight against the stigma. Isn't that was leadership is all about?"
"No, not at all, actually."
"Well, to each their own," Tony then attempted to walk out past Steve, but Captain America gripped onto Tony's shoulder after he passed him and got close enough to the door.
"Tony," Steve sighed, "I know there's more going on here. I'm willing to forgive it all if you just act a little nicer from here on out, hm?"
"We'll see, Rogers," Tony left the room this time, whistling to himself. Steve narrowed his eyes and watched him walk down the hallway, "I'll give you one more chance, Stark."
"And I'll be eagerly awaiting the consequences post said chance," Tony had spun around to deliver his parting remarks and walked backwards for a few paces before turning down a corner.
And another meeting came and went, no changes from Iron Man. This time his target was poor Bruce Banner. Steve bided his time as everyone left the room and even waited for Tony to leave, knowing he was headed for his lab. Tony tended to work on a routine nowadays, so it was easy to track him.
The sliding doors to the lab whooshed open for Steve after he made it downstairs.
"Office hours aren't until tomorrow, sport," Tony chided, readying a pair of goggles and gloves for the work he was about to set out on.
"Oh, I'll be quick. Here to follow up on a threat," Steve was approaching Tony by his work station.
"Threat?" Tony turned around and eyed Steve, "My Captain America doesn't threaten, he moreso saves and leads and throws his little dinner plate around. Oh! You mean about the--"
"Yeah, your punishment, let's call it," Steve was now sporting a grin. The silence between the two hung in the air a few beats too long, and it was long enough for Tony's own smug look to be wiped from his face.
"Wait--" was the only thing he could get out before Steve pinned him against his own work table, high enough for the edge of the table to be caught in the small of Tony's back.
"Jesus, cap, at least take me out to dinner fi-hirst," an unwanted giggle slipped its way out of Tony's lips when he felt thick fingers prodding into his ribs.
"Do you ever stop talking?" Steve asked Tony, wanting to sound exasperated but it mostly came out teasing, with a small smile still on his face. His fingers dug right in, not playing games. This was a punishment, after all, for Tony's constant being a dick to everyone.
Tony yelped and he wanted to shrink down to the floor but Steve's strength and superior girth kept Tony upright. He laughed against his will and it was loud laughter because god dammit Steve knew how to tickle.
"Fuhucking stop!" Tony begged, his hands tightening onto Steve's wrists but was unable to stop their path. Steve worked his hands down until the thumbs dug into the crevices of Tony's hips, mostly exposed due to his low-rise pants. Tony screamed and he did manage to collapse halfway, so Steve's hands had to stop tickling him there, thank god. But now Steve pulled one of Tony's arms up, easy enough since the billionaire hadn't let go of his wrist yet, and pinned that hand to the table.
"N-nno," Tony protested, "No, Rogers, don't. Don't do it."
"Don't do what? Get under here?" he fluttered the fingers of his free hand under Tony's arm, which was now wide open.
"SHIHIhiiiit! You bastard!" Tony growled, stomping his foot on the floor, "Lemme go! Let me go right now!"
"You're in no position to be making threats now, Stark," Steve smirked and he used all the force of his fingertips to dig in and around Tony's armpit, partially exposed to the elements because of the very short sleeve shirt Tony was wearing. Not quite a tank top, but tight enough to leave a space for skin-to-skin touches.
Tony laughed, throwing his head back as his other hand came up to try and ward off Steve's fingers. But he was laughing so hard his coordination was off.
"I'm gonna get you to apologize to everyone," Steve spoke about serious matters as if he wasn't literally tickling his friend and coworker to near death, "And you're not gonna take out whatever shit you got going on on the team."
"OkAY! OKAY!" Tony agreed immediately.
Steve rose a brow and he smirked, "I didn't think you'd cave that quickly. When am I supposed to deliver my big speech?" he pulled Tony until he was standing again and he now rested both his hands on either side of Tony's stomach.
"Plehehease no," Tony giggled and it was almost cute. Hands were at Steve's wrists once more, waiting for the inevitable.
"I have to. This isn't a real punishment if I don't get the worst spot on you," Steve smiled once more, a bigger, brighter one this time. And both hands wreaked havoc on Tony's belly. One hand vibrated its claw shape right in the middle and the other slipped under said tight shirt that had already risen up and was scratching at the tender skin across Tony's waistband.
Now Tony really did scream. His laughter rung out loud and clear and his arms couldn't do a thing. He tried hunching forward, falling to the floor, considered head-butting Steve for a hot second there, but nothing came to fruition. Tony laughed so hard he snorted as Steve's fingers finally lifted off his very ticklish torso.
"Gohohod," Tony snorted again and he hated it, "You're even more of an asshole than me, old man," he was breathing heavily, wiping sweat from his brow. He watched as Steve was walking out of his lab.
"Maybe you just needed a little lightening of your spirits," Steve said in return and before he got in the elevator to go back upstairs, he added, "I hope you've learned your lesson."
Tony gave Steve a thumbs up followed by a very pronounced middle finger. Steve laughed as the elevator doors closed and Tony huffed out a chuckle. Maybe he did need that. Hm, tickle punishment works. Who knew?

Ticklish?
!UPDATED¡
This is my first fic so please dont judge.
𝖲𝗎𝗆𝗆𝖾𝗋𝗒:𝖯𝖾𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝖼𝗋𝖺𝗏𝖾𝗌 𝖺𝗍𝗍𝖾𝗇𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝗌𝗈 𝗁𝖾 𝗌𝗍𝖺𝗋𝗍𝗌 𝖺𝗇𝗇𝗈𝗒𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗈𝗇𝗒.𝖳𝗈𝗇𝗒 𝖽𝗂𝗌𝖼𝗈𝗏𝖾𝗋𝗌 𝗌𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖺𝖿𝗍𝖾𝗋 𝗍𝗋𝗒𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗍𝗈 𝗀𝖾𝗍 𝗁𝗂𝗆 𝗍𝗈 𝗍𝖺𝗅𝗄.
Tony is trying to upgrade one of his suits when he hears a certain someone hop in the lab. “Hey Mr. Stark!“ “Hey kid, what do ya need“ He asked, still trying to work. “Nothing.“ He said, being obvious that he wants something. “I know you want something, you can tell me its not like ill lash out at you.“ Peter was embarassed because he never usually comes to Tony when he wants attention. “Really, its nothing. I just came to see what you were doing. “ “I’m just working on a suit upgrade.” He said, trying to get Peter to tell him what he wants by not talking about it. Peter usually doesn’t tell Tony what he wants right away because he doesn’t wanna bother him or anything, but he eventually tells him if they’re just standing/sitting there. “Why don’t you go hang out with Harley?” He asked, thinking that would get him to talk. “I’m good.” He said seriously. Tony turned around to look at him. “Okay seriously kid,I know you want something. Just tell me,it hurts that you don’t feel comfortable telling me.” “It’s not that I don’t feel comfortable,it’s just… 𝖾𝗆𝖻𝖺𝗋𝖺𝗌𝗌𝗂𝗇𝗀...“ He whispered the last part. “What was that last part?“ He asked, while Peters face was turning red as a tomato. “Its embarrassing!“ He raised his voice a little. Tony laughed a little, “Juhust tell me.“ Tony patted his head but accidentally touched his neck while pulling his hand back. “EEP!“ Peter jumped back like 1 foot away. Tony thought for a moment and then it hit him.
“Peter, are you tihicklish?“ “No!“ He said defensingly. Peters ears and neck have now turned red along with his face. “Then whyhy are you so rehed?” He laughed, knowing he’s lying. “It’s just hohot!” Peter said, his face burning with embarrassment. Tony snickers, “Sure sure, then you wouldn’t mind if I tested it out right?” He said teasingly. If it were possible,Peters face would’ve turned even more red. “Uh,I think I gotta go,I’ve already over-stayed my visit!” Peter blurts out, already sprinting away from Tony. Before he could even get a foot away from him,he feels a hand wrap around his arm, yanking him backwards. “Oh no you don’t you little twerp!” He knocked him down to the floor and pinned his arms above his head.
“You wouldn’t lie to me right Peter?~” He teases with a poke to his side. “EEK!” He squealed with a rather unmanly voice. Tony then squeezed his side. “StoHOhop!” He hoped this stopped as soon as possible,or did he? “I thought you said you weren’t ticklish Pete~” Tony was now lightly scribbling his hip. “I’m noHOOO-“ Tony drilled his finger into Peter’s middle rib. “You wanna finish that sentence?” He teased, making Peter squeal. As he started to get to his top rib, Peter’s laugh was getting higher. “TohoHO clohOse!” Tony stopped and Peter was just lying there with heavy breathing and light giggles. “Does someone have a tickle spot there?~” He teased like he was teasing a toddler. Peter’s bright blush rushed to his ears and neck, looking anywhere but Tony’s eyes. “I think they doooo~” Peter’s blush got darker, “And that someone is, you~” He started digging into Peter’s underarms, making him laugh like crazy, his eyes squeezed shut. “NAHAHAHAHAHAAAA” He screamed, Bucky was a little near where they were, so he was alerted and rushed to the lab.
“What happened?!-“ He was surprised to what he saw. Tony looked up, noticing him, “Oh hey Buck! Just trying to get this little bug to talk.” He says, now scribbling lightly. Bucky immediately pulls out his phone and starts recording. “Just tell me what you want so bad~” He’s enjoying this just as much as Peter, and so is Bucky. “EHEHEHEHEEEEE” He squirms, knowing he couldn’t get away. Even if he was trying. “I am SO showing this to the whole tower later!” Bucky says making Peter try to look up at him. “NOHOHOHO” Bucky smiles down at him sinisterly. He squeals when Tony starts poking and prodding at his sides. “StOhOhOhOp!” He laughs, hoping this wouldn’t end as soon as he thought he would. But then Tony starts digging at Peter’s hips.
“AHahAh! *snort*” He stops, his jaw hanging wide open while also smiling. And Bucky is just laughing his ass off in the back. “Thahahat is a nehehew souhond.” Peter lies there with his face as red as a tomato. Giggles still spilling out of his mouth. “Sh-shuhut uhup man!” He says while pushing his face. Bucky stops recording and runs away still laughing, “Saham! Hey Samhm!”
“Noho! Mr.Stahark get ohoff so I can get hihim!” Peter laughs, trying to get up. “Sorry, no can do.” He says, then starts digging into his sides. “NoHoHo! Mr.StAHahark!” Tony ignores him and keeps going. “You stihill haven’t told me whyhy you can into my lahab!” He laughs, making Peter cover his blushy face. “Dohont cover your cuhute little fahace!” He says, then tickling his underarms. “NOHOHOHOHOHO!!” He really didn’t want to tell him why since he was so embarrassed, plus he didn’t really want this to end either.
“You gonna tell me why now?” But then again, he couldn’t STAND the teasing. “OKAYAY OKAYAY ILL TAHAHAHALK!” Tony stops, looking at him with a teasing questioning look. Peter lays there giggling trying to catch his breath. “Ihi just.. wahanted attention…” He whispered the last part. “What was that?” “I wanted attention!” He yells, with bright blush on his face. Tony chuckles with an adored look on him. “You could’ve juhust asked bahambino.” He lets up, with Peter covering his face in a tiny ball. “You have nohothing to be embarrassed about Pete.” He smiles at him. Peter slowly uncovers his VERY blushy face. “I didn’t wanna bug you..” He says quietly, making Tony’s heart break from adorable-ness. “Yohou could never bug mehe bud. That’s vehery adorable.” Peter’s blush darkens.
After that, they come upstairs to find Bucky and Sam laughing at Bucky’s phone and hearing Peter’s loud laugh coming from it. God, they were gonna tease him so bad for this.
FINALLY FUCKING DONE! AFTER MONTHS.

Peter’s Tummy troubles
This is a SFW tickle fic!! Of Peter getting gentle comfort and tickles from his mentor and father figure Mr. Stark.
lee!Peter and ler!tony
A/N: I just finished writing this story of Peter getting comfort tickles and affectionie from Tony! I myself is feeling a bit sick with a cold, and my forehead and sore throat not feeling well. I was thinking of Tony comforting Peter and it made me feel happy. So I wrote a fic of it ^_^ My neckie still feels a bit sore writing dis but it's okay!
Grab your cup of coffee, or tea, and jump on in with the story!
Peter's tummy was hurting real baddie. Petie didn't know why. Could it be because of the breakfast he ate in the morning? Training? Webbing aroundie new York city? A flu?
It sucked. Peter was looking forward to seeing Mr. Stark after school. Peter was thinking he couldn't make it at all if his stomach was in pain this badly.
Peter groaned in pain and grunted opening his free palm and swiped a web out and started to swing around the city, the layout in his head the direction he was heading to was Tony's tower.
Yes, even though Peter was in terrible pain he still had energy to go to Tony's tower. Peter didn't want to miss a day of not spending time with Tony at all. Stomach aching wasn't anything new to the spider-teen.
Peter mumbled incorporated words without thinking about what he said and summersaults into the air and lands back onto his feet standing up Infront of Me Starks tower.
Peter looked up at the side of the super awesome tower where he and the avengers stay and Peter blinked his eyes. He didn't have enough energy to swing all the way up to the tower this time..
Yet Peter is too stubborn to listen to his body telling him to calm down. Peter grumbles rolling his eyes being fed up with his upset tummy.
Peter raises his hand and shooted out a web pointed upwards all the way to the top of the Avenger's tower which he carefully calculated to stick right there, Peter gets launched into the air very high off the ground and accidently slips in thin air.
Peter squeaks in surprise looking down, he's very high up and he didn't want his sleep deprived self to fall down and Peter quickly released another one of his webs and safely went in the window.
Peter sighed of relief and swung his bag onto the sofa. The room Peter was in, is the living quarters of the Avengers Tower.
This quarter was Peters favourite! There's almost at least one or two of the avengers hanging around talking to each other or watching TV, playing games. Peter sometimes spends time watching to keep himself entertained.
Peter wondered around the room for 10 minutes until he remembered his tummy was still hurting. Peter whimperd in pain. Peter was trying to avoid seeing Tony, Peter didn't want his mentor seeing him looking down because of a tummy ache. Peter certainly doesn't want to go through the very-much-embarrassing explainationn Mr Stark wanted an answer to.
Before Peter can have a next thought. Peter's body was sub consciously walking to where he was thinking Tony was most likely to be. Peter was walking down the corridor in a different direction to where every other room is.
Peter grumbles and face planted his head on Tony's front door of the lab and his head ache was getting increasingly worse. It was horrible. Peter wanted his head ache to get out of his system, and his tummy ache gone.
Peter bites his lips and whimpers, weakily knocking on Tony's door.
Tony from the inside of his lab perked his head up hearing the soft knock, Tony didn't think twice on who it might be. The type of knocking styles from everyone who knocks on his door — Tony can tell who it might be in due time.
Tony's thoughts come to a close and gently wraps his hands around the inner door handle and unlocks the door with the door opening. Tony looks down seeing his mentee Peter. In the first second of Tony's eyes staring at Peter. Tony can sense the amount of pain Peter is feeling.
Tony didn't like seeing Peter be unwell at all. Peter is like a son to Tony, he does not want his mentee/son to feel unwell anymore. Peter looked up at Tony with puppy dog eyes and Peter instantly picked Peter up into his arms.
No matter how old Peter is, teenager or not. Tony will never say no to wrapping Peter inside his comforting arms, Peter didn't have enough energy to fight back.
Tony walked calmly and gently to the newly brought bean bags he brought specifically for him and Peter when ever they work together in the lab.
Tony sat down making sure not to hurt Peter in any way, and held Pete close to his chest. Tony strokes his soft palm against Peter's back and Peter deliberately melted against Mr Stark's touch.
Peter was feeling a bit better.
Tony smiled watching Peter looking so freaking cute at enjoying, his palm on Peter's back.
Peter smiled to himself despite still feeling some pain in his head and his stomach but Peter couldn't care less. Tony's back rub felt like a cold ice-cream sundae on a summer afternoon.
Peter hummed pleasantly, and Tony chuckled slightly hearing Peter be happy and over the moon at his back getting rubs. Tony lifts his left hand and rubs his thumb finger across Pete's forehead and Peter wiggles slightly but still in a happy soft mood.
Tony gives a small fond tiny kiss on Pete's forehead and Peter giggles weakily into Tony's chest and Tony chuckles along with Peter.
Tony talks very softly to Peter and rocks Peter back and fourth while Tony gently running Peter's back and forehead. “Feeling any better sweet pea?“
A small happy tired mumble comes out of Peter's mouth to answer Tony's gentle question as a full yes.
Tony's mouth curls upwards and smiles to himself. Listening to the very small happy sounds coming from the teen. Tony nuzzles his head on Pete's neck and Peter let's out the most sweetest giggles, Tony has ever had coming from Peter.
Tony's heart melts watching Peter fall into a soft light giggle fit. Tony smiled and shakes head head not help wanting to hear Peter giggle more. Tony gets a light bulb in his head. Now he knows how to cheer up Peter. Tickles! Tickles cheer up Peter in no time and Peter will get his favourite places getting tickles! Good idea right?
It was a good idea! Tony wiggles his index finger on Peter's neck and Peter giggles softly into Tony's chest, squiggling in Tony's arms.
“M'ster....- Stahahark nohoho“ Peter giggles and his hands turn into fists pounding on Tony's chest gently. Peter was wiggling softly against Tony and Tony can not be any more happy on how happy tickling Peter was changing Pete's mood from sad to happy and light giggles.
“Hey kid, for the millionth time it's Tony.“ Tony laughs fondly and bends his index and thumb finger to lightly poke Peter's shoulder and Peter laughs silently with a small blush on his face. “Let me spell it out for you, it's a T- to the O-N-Y~! Not thaaaaaat hard for you right Peter?“
“You sound SOHOHO baahahad!“ Pete giggled at Tony teaching him how to say Tony's own name. Peter already know it's just saying ’Mr Stark’, Peter feels more close to Tony. “And, Nohoho you can't make mehehe!“ Peter sassed against to Tony's ’helpful’ singing. “Old man!“
Tony gasped dramatically (playfully) to his kid's many remarks in the same giggly behaviour. Tony points his hand to himself like he has gotten rejected, and Peter finds this hilarious. The look on Tony's face looks so surprised and shocked. Peter is laughing his heart out.
Tony blinks his eyes to register his thoughts. Tony knew his singing was ’bahahad’, Tony is chuckling to himself in agreement and Peter is grinning much to his own pridefulness. One thing Tony is a bit ompf about is getting called old man. Tony knew Peter knew what he was doing because now....
Tony growled playfully forming his right hand to a claw and Peter squeaks at the sight of Tony's wiggly fingers and Peter giggling lightly.
“Wahaahit. Wait wait wait Misheheter Stark I'm sorry! I didn't mean it it it it was a joke you know!“ Peter giggles panicking and wiggles left to right. Peter is still feeling pain from his tummy so he doesn't want to move around all too much.
“Yeah I know" Mr Stark grins but his eyes show so much foness for Peter. Tony says softly to Peter. “Your tummy hurts right? This should help you.“
Tony places his hand on Peter 's soft tummy and rubs his full palm around on Pete's tummy. Peter giggles silently and melts into the touch.
Usually, as you know. Peter would've been giggling non stop but this type of tickling makes Peter feel sleepy and happy.
Tony circles his finger around Peters tummy, moving his finger up and down to his lower tummy and upper tummy. Peter gently closes his eyes with a sleepy smile on his face.
Peter was slowly feeling better being in Tony's arms. His tummy from being hurt to feeling happy. It might not be fully well but with Tony's gentle rubbing, Peter can feel a bit better. Happy thoughts filled inside Peter's head as Tony kisses, Peter's forehead softly and rubs Peter's tummy with his free hand.
Tony leans back on the wall and Peter drifts into sweet, calm, gentle sleep.

Hello! I'd like to request a tickle story with Bran Stark, Rickon Stark and Tommen Baratheon please~
cubs and pups
summary: Tommen doesn't like Winterfell when he first lays eyes on it but quickly finds himself warming up to the place and its people - especially Lord Stark's youngest sons and so he happily agrees when they invite him to play with them. What could possibly go wrong?
an: goddamn that took me way too long... i'm really sorry @proscrix, i hope you like what i came up with! (also please appreciate the title i'm really proud of it 😭)

There was something very dismal about Winterfell. Tommen couldn't quite put a finger on it but nevertheless, the feeling was there. In the gray of the walls, looming over him in a way that made him feel entrapped, even though he was out in the open; the dull clothes the people, even the Starks wore, designed to keep them warm rather than impress anyone; even in the way the Starks themselves looked at him, a way that made it abundantly clear that they viewed him as a child first and a prince second. Not that he could actually blame them for it, somehow he hadn't realized either that he was supposed to be above them all, but how could he when everyone always looked down on him?
Well, not everyone.
Tommen caught the gaze of the youngest Stark child (Rickon, he believed) who was looking up at him in complete awe. He seemed to be younger by a few years and the prince found himself wondering if maybe they could play together later. Did the northerners play the same games they played in King’s Landing? Would Rickon even want to play with him? He carefully smiled at the boy and felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders when Rickon returned the smile. So far so good.
For now though, there were other things to do. A formal greeting between his father and Lord Stark, then a more informal approach where his father went through all of Lord Stark’s children one after the other and told them how strong and beautiful they were and how they would make great knights and lords and ladies someday. Tommen felt a sting in his chest. If only his father ever told him he was going to be a great knight someday with the same twinkle in his eyes he had when he said it to Brandon. Was that jealousy?
Tommen examined Brandon with narrow eyes. They were probably around the same age, with the other boy being noticeably taller and leaner, his dark hair gave him a much more adventurous appearance than Tommen with his golden locks could ever hope for. He was beaming with pride after receiving the King’s praise and despite the maybe-jealousy still stinging in his chest, the young prince could not for the life of him find it in him to dislike the other boy. He watched as Rickon looked up at Brandon and they exchanged a smile. Brandon was probably also a way better older brother than Joffrey.
Where was Joffrey anyway? Over there, making googly eyes at Lord Stark’s daughter. Fair enough, Tommen thought to himself, she was a true beauty. Maybe, he then thought, one day he could marry a girl just as beautiful, then he saw his mother whisper something into Joffrey’s ear and instinctively knew that whoever he was going to marry someday, it wasn’t going to be a Sansa Stark. No wonder Joffrey never found the time to be a good brother in between learning how to strut around like a rooster and trying to get under the skirts of beautiful girls. Tommen had no idea what it meant to get under someone’s skirt but his uncle Tyrion had said this one day and his other uncle Jaime had given the dwarf a slap in the back of his head and told him “Not in front of the children”, so Tommen had vowed to himself to never forget this sentence until he could understand what it meant. (Also the rooster part was funny, even though he wouldn’t dare to say that out loud to anyone aside from uncle Tyrion.)
A slight push to his shoulder pulled him out of his thoughts and he looked directly into Myrcella’s slightly concerned eyes. The adults were done with greeting each other and giving compliments to children that weren’t Tommen and the whole group got ready to go inside the castle. He quickly caught up to Myrcella and tried to look for Rickon Stark, but the boy had vanished from his field of vision.
Winterfell was much nicer on the inside. Big chimneys and torches on the walls warmed up the great hall and gave it a welcoming feeling. It felt like a place that was a home to someone, not like Casterly Rock which felt more like a place people were forced to visit without any intention of staying longer than absolutely necessary - at least that was how Tommen felt whenever he had to go and see his grandfather Tywin.
Here it was very different though. Even from his place at the table that stood above all the other tables, he felt like a part of the crowd of laughing, drinking and singing northerners. Even stuck between his sister, who was half asleep, and his mother, who was more busy hawk eyeing Sansa Stark than anything, he was having a good time. Well, as good of a time as he could have anyway when everyone around him was getting more and more drunk as the evening dragged on.
He knew that he would be sent to his chambers immediately if he seemed even remotely tired and he didn’t want to leave just yet but at some point he just couldn’t hold the yawns in anymore. Almost immediately, his mother’s gaze was on him - for the first time that night and while that was nice for a change, he dreaded the following words before they even left her mouth: “You should go to bed, it’s quite late.”
Tommen looked around for help, feeling a tad bit hopeful when his gaze met with the understanding eyes of his uncle Jaime. “Oh come on Cersei, it’s a special night. Let the child enjoy it a little longer.”
“It’s way past sundown, Jaime,” his mother responded and something about her tone sent a chill down Tommen’s spine, but his uncle seemed entirely unbothered.
“We’re in the north, it’s always way past sundown.”
“Jaime.”
Silence, then his mother leaned forward to give him a kiss on the forehead. “Sleep well, Tommen.” So his uncle had lost, bummer.
When he left the hall he felt Joffrey’s gloating stare in his back. The door closed behind him, then it was only his and Jaime’s steps walking away from the festivities. And the warmth. It was a lot colder out here.
“Sorry about that, lad. I tried to get you some more time.”
“It’s fine, thank you.” He gave his uncle a small smile and was about to reassure him that he had been getting bored anyway when a giggle somewhere down the corridor distracted him from the conversation. Before Jaime could stop him (maybe he wasn’t even trying) he hurried down the corridor to see where the sound came from. He hadn’t seen Rickon and Brandon all night, maybe they were-
“Hello.”
Startled, Tommen’s feet came to a halt abruptly and he nearly lost his balance. Big, blue eyes looked up at him, widening a little in shock.
“I’m sorry, are you alright?”
“Rickon, what are you- oh.” Brandon Stark bowed his head, gesturing at his little brother to do the same. “Your Highness.”
“You don’t have to do that…” Tommen shuffled his feet nervously - he had never been a huge fan of people bowing their heads or getting on their knees before him, it just didn’t feel right. “What… what are you doing?”
“Oh, we were just playing.” Brandon still seemed a little cautious, as if Tommen were to order his execution if he took one simple misstep. It made his chest tighten; what would it take for Brandon to not be nervous around him anymore? How could he show that he had no intention to boss anyone around or-
“Do you want to join us?”
Rickon really had a talent for interrupting his spiraling thoughts and when Tommen looked at him, he was met with a genuinely hopeful expression - a pleasant counterpart to Brandon’s leeriness.
He was about to tell him that he would love to play with them, then he remembered he wasn’t alone and turned around to his uncle. “May I…?”
The corner of Jaime’s mouth twitched so slightly that Tommen was sure he wouldn’t even have noticed if he hadn’t known the man all his life. “Your mother won’t hear it from me. But I’ll be back in an hour and then you will go to bed immediately.”
“Yes, promise!” Barely able to hide his excitement, he turned back to the Stark boys and quickly followed Rickon into the room when the younger boy grabbed his wrist and pulled him with him. Brandon shut the door, then it was only the three of them.
Tommen examined the room. A bed, covered in furs and blankets, a big chimney with a fire spreading warmth and a thick carpet with wooden figurines lying around. He sat down on the floor between the two brothers. “Brandon and Rickon, right?”
“Yes. You can say Bran though.”
It had been a pure courtesy, but Tommen was glad he had asked - it made him happy to be allowed to address Bran by a nickname. Friends did that, right? Did that mean they were friends? A smile spread his lips. “Then you can just say Tommen. What were you playing?”
“Well, we were trying to play tournament, but Rickon won’t share the knight figurines!”
“Because these are mine!”
“But how are we gonna play tournament when I have no knights?!”
“Then that means you lose!”
“That’s not how it works!”
Tommen leaned back when Bran suddenly lunged forward and wrestled Rickon into the carpet, then the younger boy squeaked and started to thrash around. “Braaan!”
Tommen narrowed his eyes. Was Bran- “W-wait, what are you doing?! Leave him alone!”
Rickon stopped laughing when Bran took his fingers off his sides and both of them were looking at him with nearly identical grins. “Why? Would you rather get a taste of this yourself?”
Before the prince could react, Rickon cried out “Charge!” and suddenly they were all over him; Bran held one of his arms in a vice grip and dug his fingers into his armpit, meanwhile Rickon relentlessly squeezed his midsection. A reluctant laugh escaped Tommen’s mouth. This was not good… he had to get out of here or else he’d be stuck here all night… maybe uncle Jaime would even walk in on him crying, just like the Septa did back when it happened in King’s Landing, that would be so embarrassing…
He remembered Joffrey quite literally ambushing him in his chambers in the early morning, jumping up on his bed and pinning him down while tickling him everywhere he could reach. The prodding to his hips, the scribbles all over his ribs and tummy, the squeezes to his sides… yes, he remembered it all too well. He remembered that it had been painful rather than ticklish, remembered how he had screamed louder and louder for Joffrey to let go of him and how his brother had seemed to care less and less by the second, how he had begun to cry only for Joffrey to tell him ‘Don’t be a baby, we’re just having fun’.
Fun. Maybe, he had wondered for a while, Joffrey was right. When the Septa had come into the room and Joffrey had explained that they were just having a little tickle fight, she too had said ‘Why are you crying, Prince Tommen? Tickling is supposed to be fun’. Maybe, he had thought, he was the problem, maybe he just didn’t know how to have fun with tickling and that was the reason so it didn’t work, but then again, Joffrey having fun and Tommen getting hurt (or anyone getting hurt, really) weren’t mutually exclusive situations.
Tommen felt his chest tighten and his own laughter began to sound like that of a stranger. He knew this was supposed to be fun, but he didn’t want this. All he had wanted was to have fun with some potential new friends and now he was gonna be stuck here for hours, getting tortured. Maybe Bran was just as horrible of an older brother as Joffrey then. Tears started to clock up his throat. And then, to his great surprise, the tickling… stopped.
“Tommen? Are you alright?”
Rickon gave him a worried look and Tommen hastily sat up, not wanting to seem weak in front of the Stark boys. “I’m fine…”
“Did we overstep?” Bran looked somewhat mortified at the thought of having upset the prince. “We’re sorry, we didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable… we thought it’d be fun.”
Tommen pulled his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around himself. He knew that this would make him look like a little baby, but honestly, it made him feel better right now and for a moment that was the only thing that mattered. “I just don’t understand… how can it be fun if people get hurt?”
The brothers glanced at each other, confused. “Hurt?” Rickon tilted his head to the side as if the situation would become somehow clearer. “What do you mean, hurt? I mean, I guess it could happen… one time Jon kicked Robb in the chest, but I think that was an accident.”
“What Rickon is trying to say,” Bran chipped in from the side when Tommen opened his mouth to ask what tickling and kicking people in the chest had to do with each other, “is that sometimes you can get hurt when you’re tickling someone and play fighting, but tickling isn’t supposed to hurt.”
“It- it isn’t?”
“No, it isn’t! See, it’s fun.” Bran quickly wiggled his fingers into Rickon’s side and the younger boy let out a bright giggle. “Why would it be supposed to hurt?”
“Well, when Joffrey did it-”
“Joffrey?! Prince Joffrey?! What did he do?!”
Tommen knew very well that the majority of the worry in Bran’s expression probably came from the fact that Joffrey was most likely going to marry his sister, but something about it still made him feel safe. As if the Stark brothers would be on his side, unlike Joffrey, unlike the Septa, and so he told them everything. Rickon was the first to speak up.
“But that is so mean! Why would he do that?!”
“Maybe he is just a mean person.” Bran softly caressed his brother’s hair, seemingly in shock. “But that’s really… I mean, the rules to tickling are unspoken, I suppose, but even so one of the rules is to stop immediately if the other person doesn’t want to be tickled…”
Tommen only wrapped his arms around himself and grasped onto his shirt, just to hold onto something. “Joffrey doesn’t know the rules then.”
“But we know the rules!” Rickon seemed determined to raise the spirit. “Maybe you could let us tickle you, we can show you that it’s fun!”
Bran looked at his brother as if he was about to scold him, then his gaze turned towards the prince instead, rather curiously. “Would you… let us do that?”
Tommen considered his options. He could just say No and they wouldn’t do it. They would respect that he didn’t want it to happen. They could just play something else and he’d be able to avoid this experience - or he could say Yes. If they’d accept his No now, they would also accept it later. Tommen had spent countless nights at the table next to his father, listening to him swoon over how honorable and honest of a man Lord Eddard Stark was and if that same Lord Eddard Stark’s sons claimed there were rules to tickling, he was sure they’d follow those rules at all times.
He nodded carefully. “You can do it… but carefully…”
“Of course!” To say that Rickon was beaming would’ve been an understatement, but Tommen couldn’t think of a better word before the younger boy latched onto his sides, squeezing away.
A giggle slipped out of his mouth and he quickly pressed his arms to his sides. He didn’t want it to stop just yet, wanted to see where it would go, but he couldn’t help it, it just really tickled. It didn’t hurt though. Tommen felt the slightest bit of tension fade away.
“Don’t block us out now!” Bran’s eyes glittered as he wiggled his fingers past Tommen’s arms, scratching at his ribs and making the prince squeak. “How are we supposed to tickle you if you cover up all the good spots?” There was a teasing undertone to his voice that would’ve sounded cruel and mean coming from Joffrey but out of Bran’s mouth it sounded… nice. Like they were having fun.
Tommen let out another giggle. He was having fun. “Buhut it tihickles-”
“Yes, that’s the point!” Rickon laughed and moved from his sides to his tummy. Tommen doubled over with a shriek and the younger boy’s eyes lit up. “Bran, I found a gold spot!”
“Good work, Ser Rickon! The defenses are crumbling!”
“AIHEE- Brahahahan!” Tommen squealed, curling in on himself. It was no use trying to protect his torso; Rickon relentlessly prodded and poked at his tummy and Bran’s fingers had wormed their way up into his armpits. It would probably be smart to try and push him off but he couldn’t bring himself to lift his arms - it just tickled too much. All he could do was lie on the carpet and laugh and it was fun.
“Are you alright?” Rickon grinned widely when the prince nodded. “Good!” He wiggled a finger into his belly button. “Then I can try this!”
“Gahahads, Rickohohon! Nahahat theheheere!” Tommen felt tears prick at the corner of his eyes. As much fun as this was- “Ihi cahan’t, I cahahan’t, stahahap! Plehehease!”
Immediately all four hands let go of him and Tommen felt warmth spread in his chest. They stopped. He told them to stop and they did it. So this was why it was supposed to be fun.
Rickon scooted a little closer and tried to catch a glimpse of Tommen’s face. “Are you still alriHIG- hehehehey! Brahahan, nohoho!”
Tommen blinked at the younger boy who was giggling and squirming on the ground, then he looked up at Bran who had his hands buried under Rickon’s arms and grinned back at him. “Do you want to help?”
“Nohoho, dohon’t hehehelp him!”
Tommen hesitated for a moment, then carefully extended his hand to give Rickon’s knee a little scratch when Bran sent an encouraging nod his way. Rickon let out a shriek and tried to pull his leg in but Tommen quickly grabbed his ankle to hold it still. He was getting used to this.
“You know you deserve this, Rickon!” Bran did his best to sound threatening but he couldn’t hide his joking undertone. “That’s what you get when you don’t share your toys!”
“Buhut thehese ahahare mihINEEK! ALRIHIHIGHT I GIHIVE! I GIHIHIVE!”
Tommen watched in fascination as Bran took his fingers off Rickon’s neck and briefly wondered how many times they must have done this for Bran to have such good knowledge on how to get Rickon to give up immediately. He caught himself smiling at the sight of Rickon lunging at Bran with a battle cry and starting to squeeze his sides, drawing an uncharacteristic cackle out of his older brother.
“Come on Tommen, help me! He needs a taste of his own medicine!”
Tommen took Bran’s wrists to pull them up, grinning down at him when he was met with a squeal of betrayal. How he could’ve ever thought about Winterfell as a dismal place was beyond him.

Being back at his family’s old beach house was remarkably strange. Zuko kept getting flashes of bittersweet nostalgia, images of his mother building castles out of sand with him, just for Azula to knock them all down. Running through the halls in shrieks of laughter, getting chased by the tickle monster (his mother always had the perfect balance between her calm and nurturing nature, and her more silly and playful side. Feeling okay with play was something that ended almost immediately after she left his life), always before being interrupted by a stark glare from his father.
Zuko’s father was usually absent in these beach house memories, but that’s because even when he was there during their vacations (which honestly wasn’t often, he was usually off tending to the business of being an up-and-coming Firelord), he always stood with a glare that Zuko could still see in his head clear as day. Looking back on it, he was glad that Ozai was usually preoccupied during those old vacations so he at least has a few good memories left of this place.
Zuko pondered on it alone in the house.
The rest of the group were off at the beach, doing their own things. If he had to guess, Toph was probably practicing her sandbending right now. Maybe she’s teaching Aang, or maybe Aang was practicing some moves Zuko taught him earlier in the week. Zuko felt weirdly proud at the idea. He imagined Katara was probably soaking in the ocean, bending and feeling one with the water. And Sokka…Agni knows what Sokka’s up to right now. Maybe he’s fishing.
All he knows is that they’re probably keeping themselves preoccupied right now, taking the day off to do whatever they pleased. The group needed to keep their minds sharp, but not overworked.
Zuko could sort of relate to that, trying to keep occupied. It was at a much lower scale, sure, but when he wasn’t training Aang, he took to wandering the grounds of this place that felt distantly familiar to him.
Zuko still feels a little uncomfortable with the thought of hanging near everyone during an off day like this. He knows they don’t hate him anymore, but guilt and shame have become chronic pains he hasn’t learned to aid yet. He’s happy to help them, but hanging out on a casual level is something he’s still getting used to.
As he walked through the abandoned home, he couldn’t help but gaze at old photos, taking some out of the frame to burn in his hand. For some reason, watching the memory physically char and fall to ashes from his fire felt like a medicinal release in his system. He sat on beds that had been dressed by old maids years ago, untouched for so long and yet the sheets still had a smell that burned into his sinuses like a forgotten memory.
It was so quiet in the house. Every footstep seemed to echo. It was dark, too. Each flame he set gave light to the entire room and the hall with it. It felt right that this place had been abandoned for so long. Justified. It deserved to lay dormant with the rest of any happy memories his childhood had to offer. That part of his life was laid to rest some time ago, but revisiting it lit something in him he hadn’t expected.
When he suggested they settle here for a while, Zuko hadn’t thought too hard on what it would be like to revisit this place. It was obvious this house, these grounds, the beach itself, would bring back memories he used to try hard not to think about. That was only logical.
What Zuko hadn’t anticipated was the way it would make him feel about the new people he’s surrounded himself with. The last time he was on a beach with people he thought were his friend group, it was a disaster. Fights and arguments, insecurities thrown around like weapons of war. That used to be normal to him. That was just what a vacation was.
But everyone here was having a good time. Yes, stress was definitely high and in the air, everyone was still keeping their guard up for what they knew was to come after they left. But that didn’t mean good times came to an end altogether. Zuko saw how they still played and teased each other, telling stories at dinner and laughing when they trained. Stress was high, but spirits might’ve been even higher.
Walking through this empty house, he realized that’s what this place was actually for. It wasn’t just a house you stayed in away from your home. It was a place built for bringing people closer together.
And here he was standing in it, alone in the dark.
Zuko sighed, dragging a hand down his face. He knew he should probably go out there. They trusted him now, what was he waiting on? He’s allowed…fun. That sounds so gross. But it also sounds like something Uncle would be telling him right now. If Zuko was any good at impressions, he’d give himself a famous Iroh Special about the balance of work and life, the importance of close friends in times like these. But Zuko sorta sucks at impressions, so he’ll just have to imagine how good some advice like that would sound and suck it up.
He should probably go join them on the beach now. Ugh.
As Zuko walked out of the dimly lit house, the sun felt really good on his skin, warm and filling for his soul. He took a deep breath, in and out, as he made his way toward the beach. The sounds of splashing water and shrieking laughter filled his ears as he got closer, his bare feet now warming in the sand.
“Zuko’s back,” he heard Toph announce from her self-made throne of sand, a little umbrella over the top for shade and flavor.
Zuko made his way next to Toph, watching the other three play in the ocean. Sokka had Aang in some kind of hold with his arms behind his back, while Katara stood in front, doing something with the water that seemed to have Aang in stitches. Zuko was utterly confused.
“What are they doing?” he puzzled, sitting down criss-crossed next to Toph.
“Why, do you want in?” Toph teased with a grin, making Zuko blush and nearly start defending himself (for what, he wasn’t sure) before she interrupted his clear stammering, “Katara figured out how to tickle with her water. She can be a little ruthless sometimes, and I really like that side of her.”
Zuko just nodded, really not sure what to say right now. He felt so awkward, maybe this was a bad idea after all. He’d be better off alone back in the house, it was probably good for him to think about his past the way he was before. Maybe he should just turn back, Toph will notice but none of the others have even acknowledged he came back yet so it’s not like–
“Hey!” Sokka called out, “My arms are getting tired! One of you come hold him for me!”
“Nohoho! Just lemme gohoho!” Aang cackled, kicking the water but not doing anything to actually stop them.
Zuko sighed, regretting saying anything before the words even left his mouth. “Aang, just bend the water!” he yelled their way, “Did you forget you’re the Avatar?!”
Aang just kept laughing for a moment like he hadn’t heard a thing, and Zuko nearly smiled at the boy’s blatant silliness. But in a blink, Katara was suddenly lifted and thrown about ten feet away by a small but powerful wave, Sokka getting launched not long after in the opposite direction.
Aang shot a thumbs up Zuko’s way, so Zuko gave him a quick nod back. Real smooth.
“Wooo, that’s right Twinkle Toes! Show ‘em who’s boss!” Toph cheered like she was watching a wrestling match, throwing an excited punch to Zuko’s shoulder. He winced and shot a hand up to comfort the ache, but otherwise said nothing about it.
He watched as Aang launched a tickle attack of his own against the siblings, Katara squealing and using her own water to try and counter or block any of the water she could. Sokka threw his head back in loud laughter, having no way to defend himself and pretty much succumbing to his fate, screaming with his head above water.
Zuko felt weird just spectating like this, so he started fidgeting with the sand in front of him. He thought for a moment on building a castle like he had with his mother so many years ago, but that was so far from who he was now that he chose to keep it to himself. That can just stay a happy memory for the time being.
He looked up to Toph, who seemed content on bending miscellaneous sand shapes in her hand while she listened to them play.
“Why aren’t you out there with them?” he couldn’t help but ask. Zuko didn’t feel as weird around Toph as he did the others. He still felt awkward at times, but not weird. She was the first person here to really trust him, vouch for him even. She was strong and resilient and damn was she stubborn. Zuko really liked that about her, and even though she loved to tease, he felt comfortable having a conversation with her. That was just who she was.
“Eh, water’s not really my thing. I can’t see jack when I’m in the water. Well, I kind of can, if my feet are still touching the ground. But it’s sorta foggy that way and it freaks me out. I like knowing where I am, and in there I just feel all over the place,” she cringed, forming a little sand sea lion in her palm. “Why aren’t you in there with them? Is it a firebender thing to hate the water?”
Of course she’d turn the question onto him, why didn’t he think of that? Ugh, this was not something he felt like getting into right now. “Yeah, sure. Something like that.”
“You are such a bad liar,” she chuckled, chucking her sea lion at his head playfully. He grunted at the impact and dusted the sand from his hair while she grabbed another chunk to fidget with. “I don’t even need my feet to figure that out.”
Zuko sighed, bringing his knees to his chest to lay his arms down and make a makeshift headrest. “I don’t know how to just…play, like that. That’s not natural for me, it would just be weird. It’s better if I just stay up here,” he said, suddenly feeling very weirdly insecure and unsure of his words, “If, like, y’know–if that’s okay with you.”
She laughed openly at his hesitance. “Sparky, it would mean the world. I like your company! You’re funny to talk to,” she said, and her choice of words made him squint.
“‘Funny to talk to?’” Zuko questioned.
“Yeah, you’re always so uptight. And awkward. It’s really funny,” she chuckled, making him deflate a little. He knew she probably meant the best by it, but her bluntness will always take a little blow to his already fragile ego.
“Is that really the only reason you talk to me?” Zuko huffed, not even looking for an answer if not to just air out his insecurities a little.
“No, you dingbat. You’re really different from the others, it’s a nice change of pace. You’re stiff, and your heart rate might be faster than anyone I've ever met which can get pretty annoying. But you’re very real, and I like that in a person. If you have something you need to say, then you say it,” she paused. “Well, most of the time.”
Zuko sat in that for a moment. He’s pretty sure she was…complimenting him? Maybe? It’s hard to tell with Toph, it’s rare she ever gets sweet with her words. But he’s pretty sure that whatever she meant by that, it was supposed to be a good thing. So he’ll take it.
“Thanks…I think.”
“I know it’s hard but…they can be fun if you try,” she shrugged, forming a little sand-Zuko in her palm and handing it to him. He took it gently, worried it would crumble in his hand. But it didn’t. It stayed sturdy and solid, like a real doll. Zuko turned it in his hand, getting a good look at his mini-me.
“How do you…”
“Know what you look like?” she finished for him. “The others described you to me a while back. It’s probably not perfect, but–”
“No, no. It’s…” Zuko stared at the thing in his hand. It was small, pretty much the size of his palm. His scar was there, but that’s not what he was looking at. Zuko couldn’t stop looking at the smile on its face. On his face. How natural and meant to be there it looked. “It’s really good. You captured my essence,” he remarked playfully, sliding the doll into his pocket. “Thanks.”
“Don’t mention it, Sparky,” she smiled. “Seriously. Don’t.” Zuko couldn’t help but chuckle at that, looking up to see Sokka dragging himself out of the water towards them.
“Teaching Aang waterbending was a mistake,” Sokka groaned, leaving puddles of water in his wake as he plopped in the sand next to Zuko. Zuko flinched, some water from Sokka’s clothes splashing on him when he sat down with so much force.
“Watch it, you’re getting water all over me,” Zuko complained, wiping droplets from his face with the back of his hand.
“Oh I’m sorry, were you the one that just got nearly tickled to death by the ocean?! No, I didn’t think so!” Sokka exclaimed, every big movement he made just splashing more water on a frowning Zuko. “I could’ve drowned!”
“Well that wasn’t my fault, so keep the water to yourself,” Zuko rolled his eyes at Sokka’s dramatics.
“You’re such a baby, Sokka,” Toph chuckled. “Aang took it like a champ. You don’t hear him complaining about a couple of tickles,” Toph cooed in a mocking baby voice, making Sokka squint in contempt.
Sokka pointed a finger toward Toph over Zuko, “I don’t wanna hear it from you. You don’t get attacked like I do!”
“Yeah, cause I set boundaries,” Toph grinned, tossing a foot over her knee. “You guys don’t tickle me cause you know if you even try it you’ll never have use of your fingers again.”
Zuko’s brow shot up at that, and he nearly smiled, but made no comment.
Sokka had no smart comeback to give, instead bringing his hand back in to cross his arms over his chest, pouting. They sat in silence for a moment before it seemed like a light went off over Sokka’s head, the boy perking up quickly and whipping his head toward–
“Zuko,” Sokka started with a grin. “You should help me get back at Aang.”
Zuko’s brow really shot up at that, “What?!”
“Yeah, he’d never expect it from you!” Sokka said, his smile wide and excited.
Zuko stared incredulously, “Did that water hit you over the head or something? I am not doing that,” he scoffed, refusing to look at Sokka right now. He is so stupid, what makes him think Zuko would ever do something so childish?
“Oh c’mooon, you said you were here to help us, right? Well…this would be helping me,” Sokka smiled a toothy grin, really hoping to win him over.
“Just ask Toph, don’t involve me in this. I’m sure she can do some…earthbendy thing and help way better than I could,” Zuko said, looking toward Toph for help.
Toph shook her head, “Nope. This is all you, Sparky,” Zuko could see her smile beneath the shade. He growled in frustration, peeking over toward Sokka.
“You can do it yourself then. Figure it out,” Zuko said, staring back off into the ocean. Aang and Katara were bending and splashing water at each other, their laughs and happy voices blending with the sounds of the ocean waves pushing and pulling against itself.
Sokka grumbled, falling onto his back in the sand. “Was just trying to see if you wanted to have some fun before we get serious again tomorrow,” he mumbled, picking at the sand with his fingers.
Zuko tried to ignore him, but felt a poke to his shoulder on his left. He looked to Toph and saw her just staring at him with this look, like she was disappointed. Or, maybe not disappointed. More like she was saying with her eyes, “Didn’t we just have a heart-to-heart about this two seconds ago?” He felt the doll in his pocket jab into his thigh.
Zuko pinched the bridge of his nose like he often did when utterly frustrated. “If I help you, you have to do something for me in return.”
Sokka shot up, his eyes wide like he couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “Yeah! Anything!” he paused, “Or, I mean, almost anything.”
Zuko clicked his tongue, he cannot believe he is doing this. “There’s some spices left over in the kitchen cabinet. They haven’t gone bad, I checked,” he peeked over to Sokka. “For dinner tonight, we are using those spices. No offense, but I’m tired of eating bland stew every night. If you grab those from the house…” he sighed, saying the words like they crawled from the pit of his stomach, “I will help you get back at Aang.”
“Say no more!” Sokka shot up from the sand and strut toward the house with his head held high. He was obviously very proud of himself for convincing Zuko to do something silly for once, and honestly, Zuko couldn’t blame him. He was surprised himself.
Toph dropped her throne back to the ground, the force of it shaking the ground under them as she stuck her toes in the sand. “You really gonna do it, Sparky?”
Zuko dropped his face into his hands. “I think I just dug myself into a hole.”
That made Toph cackle, and Zuko couldn’t help smiling into his palms.
The fish stew Katara was cooking smelled amazing. Zuko had forgotten just how much he missed the smell of real, seasoned food until he found those spices in the cabinet earlier today. At least he was getting something good out of this mess he’s got himself into.
In the living room of the beach house, Toph was proudly showing off all the sand dolls she made today. It was mainly weird shapes or animals she was familiar with, but everyone got a kick out of it.
“Oh, oh, can you do me?!” Aang practically bounced on his heels, clutching the Appa doll to his chest.
“Remind me when we go back to the beach, Twinkletoes,” Toph smiled, tossing a solid ball of sand to the ceiling, up, then down. “I made Sparky one, since he didn’t abandon me on the beach like some people.”
Aang deflated in guilt, “I thought you said you didn’t care…”
“I didn’t care, I’m just messing with you,” she grinned, throwing the ball at a quiet Zuko’s head.
“Ow! Hey, watch it–!”
“Show ‘em your doll, Sparks!” Toph said, the ball launching itself back into her palm. Zuko frowned, feeling weirdly embarrassed by it. He just sat there for a second with everyone staring at him, waiting.
“I thought you said not to mention it?”
“Well if Aang’s making commissions, he should probably see what he’s buying,” Toph said, clearly just proud the others were liking her art so much.
A little shy, Zuko reached into his pocket and pulled out the doll, holding it up for everyone to see. Aang immediately rushed over, not taking it from his hand but still looking at it really close.
“Woah, little Sifu Hotman! Toph, this is so cool!” Aang poked at the doll’s face, “Aww, she even made him smile!”
Katara barked a laugh from the kitchen close by, “Really taking some artistic liberties with that one, Toph.”
Everyone snickered at that, and Zuko couldn’t help but frown (unfortunately proving their case). “I can smile,” he said, shoving the doll back in his pocket. “Maybe I just don’t find you guys that funny.”
Sokka gasped, “What, do we not amuse you enough, Your Highness?” He said in a mockingly fancy tone.
Zuko knows he’s just teasing, but Sokka can really be annoying sometimes.
“That’s not it,” Zuko glared. “I don’t know, maybe we just have different senses of humor. But I can smile.”
He saw Aang glance over his shoulder to Sokka, who was lying comfortably on a pile of pillows. There was a weird, silent exchange happening between them that Zuko couldn’t pinpoint, but he was smart enough to know something was up.
Sokka sat up and looked at Zuko, trying a little too hard to look casual. “So…what does make you smile, then?”
Zuko raised a brow. Kind of a loaded question, if you ask him. “I mean, I don’t know. That’s sorta vague.”
“On purpose,” Sokka corrected. “I can think of a ton of things that make me smile off the top of my head. Like, uh…shopping!”
“Cartwheels,” Aang butt in.
“Sea prunes!” Katara called from the kitchen.
“Feeling the enemy crumble to the ground,” Toph said, way too casually.
Zuko felt a little cornered. This was hard for him, okay? Thinking of something like this off the top of his head was difficult when he’s spent the last three years with a resting frowny face. “Um…” he started, really digging into his brain for an answer. “My…Uncle was really good at telling jokes? They got annoying sometimes, but some of them made me laugh. If that counts.”
Aang really smiled at that, moving to sit next to Zuko on the ground. “That definitely counts,” he said, before shooting another look toward Sokka. Hm…
Sokka got up and sat next to Zuko on his other side, throwing an arm over his shoulder way too casually, “I think that’s a wonderful answer. But there’s just one problem…”
Zuko shot him a confused side-eye, almost shrinking away from Sokka’s touch. “Uh, okay?”
“I don’t think we’ve ever made you smile,” said Sokka, giving a small jostle to Zuko’s shoulder.
Toph snorted across the room, getting everyone’s attention. “You can be real smart sometimes, Sparky. I don’t know how you haven’t figured out what they’re up to.”
Zuko shook Sokka’s arm off his shoulder with a furrowed brow, “What are you talking about?”
She grinned, feeling through the floor how both Aang and Sokka were slowly inching closer to Zuko on either side. “I think they’re gonna tickle you.”
Without a second more to think about escaping, Sokka shoved his hands under Zuko’s arms, followed by Aang throwing himself over Zuko’s lap to wrap his waist in a ticklish hug.
Zuko shrieked, the sensation throwing him off guard so hard he nearly toppled over onto the ground. He would have toppled over, if Aang didn’t have such a strong grip on his waist, not to mention those fingers digging into his sides with a terrible, gentle accuracy. He was a cackling, giggling mess immediately.
“Nohoho-! Wahahait! Waitwaitwaitwaitwahahait-!” Zuko cackled, his eyes scrunched up and his smile wider than it had been in some time. He had forgotten just how ticklish he was until those fingers wouldn’t leave him alone, the digging into his armpits and the scribbling at his sides, it was all so…ugh, it was so ticklish.
“Tried to warn you!” Toph smiled, hearing Katara enter the room to watch while the stew finished cooking.
“Woowww, didn’t know you guys had it in you,” Katara remarked as she leaned against the door frame, watching with a grin. She pointed at the scuffle with her spoon, “I really expected you two to wuss out!”
Aang scoffed with a grin, having to use a lot of his strength to hold the very squirmy Zuko in his arms. “He’s not scary anymore, Katara. I mean, just watch this,” he said, before pinching at Zuko’s hips and making the boy squeal.
“Guhuhuys! Ahaha–wahahait! Hold ohohon!” Zuko twisted in his laughter, his arms sealed at his sides to no avail. If Sokka didn’t get his stupid fingers out of his armpits right now he was pretty sure he was gonna keel over and die any second now. From laughter or embarrassment, he wasn’t really sure which.
“Wait, wuss out?” Toph questioned. “Did you guys plan this?”
Sokka snickered, switching to just using one finger under each arm at a time, and somehow that was even worse. “Yeeeeah, I might’ve pulled a fast one at the beach. Sorry buddy!” he said, before, “Well, not too sorry. This is pretty funny.”
Zuko’s face felt so hot he was almost worried it was gonna catch on fire. Quite literally. “I’m gonna kihihill you twohohoo!” he cackled, finally gathering enough strength to push Aang off him, kicking his feet to make sure Aang kept his distance. But Sokka was unrelenting. “Sokka! Cuhut it out!”
“Ohhhh fine,” Sokka pulled his hands out, bringing one up to scruff Zuko’s hair for good measure. “Before you get mad, we only did it cause you looked a little left out on the beach today.”
Zuko wished so badly that Toph would let the floor swallow him up whole right now. “So your solution was to—do that!?”
“Well, yeah,” Aang smiled a little shyly, “It looked like you felt left out when we were playing earlier. I don’t know, maybe I’m wrong…sorry if that was too much.”
Katara had slipped back to the kitchen for just a moment during their conversation, coming back now with a tray of bowls. She handed Zuko his bowl first, which he took while still glaring at Sokka and Aang. (Well, mainly Sokka. He could tell Aang felt bad, and Zuko’s not like, actually mad. Just so utterly embarrassed and shy that he doesn’t know how to express himself right now.)
Katara gave him a sympathetic smile. “They really like you. They just don’t know how to…express it with you, sometimes.”
“Don’t put this on me, it was Aang’s idea!” Sokka looked a little embarrassed himself, like he’d been caught saying something he didn’t want Zuko to hear. He took his bowl from Katara but wouldn’t look her in the eye.
Aang took what Katara said with stride. She always had a way of putting exactly how he felt into words. “Yeah, it was my idea. You’re really cool, Sifu Hotman! But, I don’t know…I never wanna make you mad, but I still want you to feel included, yknow?”
With a mouthful of stew, Sokka chimed in, “Wha’ he said.”
Zuko wasn’t sure what to say right now. He still felt warm up his neck, and all the eyes on him right now weren't helping. But…he also felt really appreciated? These people certainly had a weird way of showing their affection, but they were trying. For him.
Ugh. They’re so sweet it’s almost sickening.
“We won’t ever do it again. Just…know we meant well,” Aang gave a sad little smile before taking a bite of his stew. Well now Zuko had to say something.
“No, it’s okay,” he stared into his bowl. “Affection, and I guess play, are…sorta new to me. I don’t hate it. I don’t…mind,” Zuko cringed at his own phrasing. Telling them that he actually sorta kinda had a little bit of fun just now felt impossible. He sighed, “What I’m saying is, I won’t get mad if you ever do it again. I know you’re not being mean. And it doesn’t bother me. So. Y’know…yeah.”
Sokka squinted toward Zuko over his spoon. “So, you didn’t hate it…” he shot a grin, “...which, in Zuko Speak, means you had fun right?”
Zuko sincerely wanted to singe the brows right off Sokka's face. Because, unfortunately, he was right. Zuko bit the inside of his cheek, “If I say yes will you drop it?”
“Actually, if you say yes you’re just giving me permission to turn that frown upside-down whenever I want,” Sokka wiggled his eyebrows, making Aang laugh beside him.
Zuko could only roll his eyes and take another spoonful in response, which they all knew in Zuko Speak was a definite yes.
“Ahem,” Toph turned the attention back toward her from across the room. “Now that that’s over, can we please go back to talking about how awesome my new sandbending tricks are? I’ll be generous and take free commissions for the next five minutes, but after that you suckers are gonna have to start paying up.”
Aang shot his hand up immediately, “I call a tiny hat for Momo!”
“Ok, but how about a tiny sword for Momo?” said Sokka.
Katara giggled, “We could give him little sand boots.”
Toph hummed with a nod, drawing up plans in her head before pointing toward Zuko. “Sparky? Any suggestions?”
Zuko looked around the room, everyone’s eyes on him once again. It wasn’t a bad feeling, though. They liked hearing what he had to say, even if it was just for a silly game. Zuko was allowed in on the conversation; actually, more than allowed. Encouraged.
“Um…he could use some sand shades. Really bright outside, y’know.”
There was a small beat of silence, and for a second Zuko almost regretted joining in, before everyone burst into giggles.
“Momo’s gotta be beach ready!” Aang laughed, poking the lemur in the belly. “Toph, he needs sandals. He needs them!”
Zuko couldn’t help but smile along as they kept throwing insane suggestions Toph’s way, his cheeks almost hurting by the end of it. Every once in a while, he’d catch himself glancing around the room, taking in how different it looks full of good company. It was somehow brighter, obviously louder, and the air didn’t feel as tight. Even when they circled back to Zuko’s newfound ticklishness later in the conversation, he felt comfortable to tease back about how weak they all were against the spices he had Katara throw in their stew.
Sokka’s threat of future tickles his way kept creeping its way to the forefront of his mind every once and a while. And he wasn’t…not excited about it. It’s not the tickling he’s looking forward to, exactly. Although, every time he pictures that future attack, he feels the ghost of fingers digging into him again and feels a weird smile pulling at his lips. Zuko puts it back to normal immediately when he catches himself, but it was there, and he knows that. But no, no it’s definitely not the tickling. It’s not just the tickling.
Zuko’s glad they’re not scared of him. They aren’t scared to touch him the way they do the others. It’s different for him, and he knows he’ll have to get used to all this newfound affection. But that’s something he’s willing (happy) to do.
When the night was finished and he found himself in that old familiar smelling bed, Zuko pulled the doll out of his pocket. He traced its details with his thumb under the light of fire he lit in his other palm. Sand took another shape with his friend’s help, and made him smile.
At that moment he decided, that’s what he’ll do with this house. It doesn’t have to feel so dark and alone. Zuko can reshape it.

This is a pretty fun idea, don’t get many insert requests! I’m pretty sure you meant the reader to be a spider person, so that’s where I went with it. If not, eeeeeh sorry! Never written for Miguel, so I hope he isn’t too crazy OOC in this. Also, since it wasn’t specified, went gender neutral. A tad angsty because it’s been that kinda week. It’s long because I’m a sucker for found family stuff.. Thank you for the kind words, and I hope you Enjoy!
Lee: Gender Neutral Reader
Ler: Miguel
Summary: You’ve been taking unnecessary risks on missions, trying to show off and impress a certain Spider-Man. It has the opposite effect, only worrying the man and making him question you. After you joke around and play off the danger, he uses a special tactic to make sure you learn your lesson.
Warnings: none! This is a tickle fic, so if you don’t like that, scroll away!!
Tumblr media
Your life was interesting, to say the least. For the past seven months, you had been your universe’s one and only spider person. That…that was hard. Especially when you had nobody to turn to. Trying to stay in school and keep the city safe was easier said than done, and it was still a mouthful. That stress took its toll on you, and it wasn’t pretty. Long story short, you managed to isolate yourself from everyone who cared.
On one particular night, you were fighting a strange villain you’d never seen before. He…kinda looked like he had a fishbowl on his head; his appearance was cartoonish. Called himself Mysterio. The guy kept yelling about his revenge; how Stark, whoever that was, wronged him. Just another crazy guy. Unfortunately, he was a very powerful crazy guy.
He gave you everything he had. Mists, holograms, hallucinations. You were reeling, struggling to stay in the fight. Mysterio prayed on your anxieties, your fears, your past: everything you had been facing. One thing was painfully clear.
You couldn’t do it alone.
And that’s when your luck turned. A bright flash of orange and red light broke through the green smoke, someone’s booming voice bringing you back to reality. Glowing red webs popped the hologram devices, a blue-and-red suited man landing a hit square in the fish bowl.
In a few quick strikes, the fight was over. The man caught your attention with his fighting skills and quick thinking. You could tell he was trying to keep Mysterio away from you. When the fight was over, you rushed over to him, trying to get any information from him.
He looked you over, having LYLA scan your signature. You were…all alone. Everyone you loved had been shoved away. The man related a bit too closely to that…
Before you could come off as completely desperate, he tossed you a watch and waved you towards an open portal. The rest was history.
The man, Miguel O’Hara, took you under his wing. He was a bit temperamental, but it was clear he cared for you. No matter how many stupid mistakes you made, how many anomalies got the drop on you, he was right there. You definitely grew attached, placing him high on your mantle. You wanted to impress him, though that was more difficult than it seemed. Pushing your limits, you gave every mission your all, even if it put you at risk. You were fine. Just needed to do better.
-
Miguel was concerned. No, scratch that, he was worried and downright anxious for your every move. Why were you taking so many unnecessary risks?! He certainly hadn’t taught you that, though a few names came to mind… Regardless, it was a habit you had to drop.
The mission you went on that day was the last straw. It was a low-grade villain, just an average Kraven. Easy catch-and-send; only you didn’t make it easy.
Kraven had laid all sorts of traps, though thanks to his brightly-colored universe, they were detectable. At least, they would’ve been if you hadn’t rushed in. In your mind, the quicker you captured him, the more impressed Miguel would be. Bursting into action, you didn’t notice the traps and sprung a flash-bang snare. While you managed to dodge the wire, you were dazed and your spider sense was left reeling. Not good.
Struggling to your feet, you shot out webs in every direction, trying to nail him or at least get a sense of where he was. The flash wasn’t good, though if you still caught him, Miguel would at least be a little impressed. A yelp to your left got you what you needed. As you ran to try and web him up, you stepped on a wire; a wire connected to a high-voltage unit. The sound of the electricity hit your ears before the shock itself.
-
“What were you thinking?”
The dim lighting of Miguel’s office just made everything twice as intimidating. You had gotten a clean bill of health from the med bay, though it didn’t make you feel any better. It felt like you let him down. When you shrugged, he sighed, running a hand down his face.
“Malditos adolescentes.” He mumbled under his breath, trying to stay calm and collected. Miguel was far from mad, but he was definitely worried, and yeah, a little annoyed that you kept ignoring your training. Still, he knew showing that would only upset you further. “You going to start talking or sit here in silence a little longer? It’s empanada day, and I’d be happier if you came clean.”
You rubbed your arm, remembering the way your nerves lit up from the trap. It was safe to say you were embarrassed to admit the real reason you rushed. “Uh…felt like I needed a little recharge?” Okay, dumb joke, but it’s how you dealt with stuff. How a lot of spider people dealt with stuff.
He huffed, not appreciating your attempt to play off his concern. “Look kid, I’m gonna tell you how it is. You’ve been rushing missions, over exerting yourself, and making risky calls I’ve never seen from you before. Tell me what’s going on with you. I promise I won’t get mad.” His voice softened at the end, his look shifting to one of concern and worry.
That made you pause. Lying wasn’t going to get you far, and it was really close to lunch… “I…kinda, sorta, maybe wanted to…ya know, i-impress you…” Your voice dropped off at the end as you suddenly found a scuff on the floor incredibly interesting.
“Kid…” Miguel paused, taking a deep breath. “C’mon. You know you don’t have to try and impress me. I just don’t want you making stupid mistakes and getting hurt.” It didn’t take a genius to decipher the look of guilt that went across your face. Miguel thought back to a few weeks ago, when you had gotten a minor side injury. He had bandaged you up and made a rather adorable discovery while doing so. That’d work.
Trying to control his expression, Miguel got closer, sitting beside you on the ledge. Miggy was trying to get better with his people skills, and since he met you,  he was doing good. “Look, burbujita, it’s okay. Get the guilt off your face, try a smile~”
You understood where he was going with that immediately. You quickly shot out a web, shooting up towards his tall office cieling. He shook his head, a throaty chuckle escaping him before he followed. It was big, but he knew his office better than anyone. Silently, Miguel landed on the cieling, scanning for you.
A place where rebar met the ceiling gave you a place to crouch. You clamped your hand over your mouth, trying to hide any giggles or heavy breaths. Unbeknownst to you, it was the only spot up there like that. He knew exactly where you were.
Miguel crawled over, springing up and grabbing you by the waist. He huffed at your shriek of surprise, carefully dropping back down and sitting you down on one of the ledges. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, sitting beside you and pulling you close. If he hadn’t been planning such silly antics, it would’ve been sweet.
Before you could try to shove him off, you felt five clawed fingers on your side. The arm around your shoulders tightened, blocking any escape routes. “M-miguehehehel?!” Tickling was the last thing you expected; maybe yelling or a two-week probation, but that? And he was so smug about it, too.
“You should really laugh more, kid. That sound? Que lindo…” Miguel raked his claws up and down your side, being extra careful not to scratch you. You twisted and squirmed in his grip, but it was solid; you weren’t going anywhere. “Cohohome ohon! Ihi’m sohohory!”
He clicked his tongue, shaking his head. “None of those apologies. Just stop putting yourself at risk, kid. I’m proud of you for just putting the mask on and going out to fight. You don’t need to overdo it.” Your cheeks reddened at the praise, though you blamed it on the silliness.
Just when you thought he was done, you felt the claws move to your belly; specifically, he started on your navel. Ignoring your squeal of protest, he dug in. “They really need to make these suits thicker, huh? Great for flexibility, though not too good against wiggling fingers.”
You kicked your feet, squealing and laughing like a little kid. Miguel found it adorable. When he first met you, you were stuck in worries and the unpleasantness of life. It was nice to see you just let loose and laugh, even if it was a little unprofessional.
He caught the redness of your cheeks, deciding to tease you just a bit further. “You’re so red, kid. Should I start calling you cara rosa?” Feeling your face heat up further, you tried to hide it in his chest. He tugged your shoulder, keeping your red face where he could see it. It was cute.
Wanting to hit one more spot before he quit, Miguel moved to claw at your ribs. He climbed up and down your ribcage, trying to get as many happy giggles out of you as he could. “You gonna stop trying to impress me and just do your best?”
You nodded, thrashing like a worm on a hook. “Yehehes! Ihi prohohomise!” Miguel chuckled, pinching your side one last time before stopping. He rubbed your back, hugging you close and trying to help you settle down. “Was that so hard?” A small laugh escaped him at the look he received. “Alright, alright, I’m done. If you ever feel like that again, just tell me. I’ll help.”
Right as he stopped talking, a small sound made him smile further. You groaned, hiding your face in your hands. “Guess I tired you out, didn’t I? We should go get you some lunch.” He patted your shoulder with a smirk, standing up and walking to the door. You cursed your stomach’s stupid growl before following, reflecting on everything that had happened to you since you got bit. Living with a man who cares about you, working to keep the spider-verse and all the people within it safe. Yeah, not a bad way to live…

Hi, since you’re talking request I was wondering if you would do Bruce Banner X Reader, where he has a crush of her and finds out she’s ticklish and after he tickles her he confesses that he likes her and you can come up with a cute ending?
The genius couple
Tumblr media
A/n: thanks for requesting this anon! This is more of a fluffy and cute fic with some tickles in it so enjoy!
You were busy in the lab in Stark Tower where you lived with the other avengers, much like Tony you were a genius in all things considering science.
Currently you were researching a new material which S. H. I. E. L. D claimed to be some alien symbiote appearing as Black liquid or something weird like that, you were just putting it in a container when Bruce Banner walked in.
The guy you've liked since the avengers discovered you 5 years ago, you were both around the same age of 25 now and have been best friends/ science buddies ever since.
"Hey Y/N what are you working on"? Bruce asked curious as he walked over to you.
"Some kind of alien symbiote" you said with a laugh as you finish securing it in a container, trying to ignore how close he was standing to you.
"Wanna help me out? I've been wanting to study some human reactions for some time now" he asked as he looked up at you.
"yeah sure, why not" you smiled and walked over to his side of the lab "with what can I help"?
"well I was hoping if I could test something on you, to see how sensitive you are" he said with a small but noticeable grin.
A faint blush creeped onto your cheeks as you think about it before giving him a nod in response.
Bruce slowly traces a finger over your arm and sees the goosebumps that came at the wake of his touch, he looks up at you with a mischief glint in his eyes before running his fingers lightly over your ribs.
Immediately you giggle before your eyes go wide "Bruce don't you dare"!
"Oh but I have to, this is great for my research" he said with a wide grin and his hands went to your sides and scribbled up and down your hip bones.
You bite your lip to stop yourself from laughing but when he started digging into your ribs you burst out laughing, trashing around as you kicked out your feet.
"My my, i thought you were sensitive but I didn't think it was this bad" Bruce said with a laugh as he squeezed your knees and thighs which elected a almost hysterical laugh from you.
He squeezed and scribbled up and down your tummy for a while making you fall back on the table as you were shaking with laughter.
"BRUCEHIHIHIH STOPHAHHA ITHIHIHIHI" you screamed out in laughter as you wiggle around on the table.
"Alright alright" Bruce chuckled as he stopped his attack on your ribs and just pulled you into a hug, rubbing circles on your back with his thumb "But you do look adorable with those red cheeks".
You blushed brightly as the remaining ghost tickles disappeared and you relaxed in his embrace, sighing content and closing your eyes for a second.
"Hey Y/N"? Bruce asked with a nervous voice.
"Yeah"?
"I got to tell you something, something important" he said slowly
You looked up at him with a curious expression "What is it, are you alright"?
"yeah I'm alright, i just, I've liked you for a long time now and I wanted to tell you so bad, how your smile always lit up the room when you entered, how the big guy always calmed down when he saw you" Bruce said softly as he looked you in the eyes.
Your eyes went wide with surprise before a grin out of pure joy lit up your face and a even brighter blush covered your cheeks "i like you too Bruce, since we first met I've always felt this attraction towards you but I thought you liked Nat"
"Really? No no Nat is just a very dear friend of mine, she always said that I needed to talk to you" he said with a chuckle before smiling widely "you like me?"
"yeah" you said softly as you look him in the eyes.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" He asked with a smile
"Absolutely!" you smiled as you hugged him tightly.
He hugged you back and placed a small kiss on your forehead, he couldn't help but notice Tony walking past the lab door and shooting him a wink with his thumbs up.
Bruce rolled his eyes before returning his attention back to you and smiling how lucky he was that you were willing to give him a chance.

So You Had a Bad Day
Summary: See prompt above ❤️
(Ironfam fluff as requested Anon ❤️ I may have switched a couple things just to change things up a little bit, I hope that's okay ❤️ hope you still enjoy and that you guys have a great week ❤️ :))
Peter flopped onto his bed. Today had been his roughest day in a while. Between school and Spiderman, the boy was physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted.
All he wanted to do was sleep till next week.
A knock on the door ruined those plans.
"Go away," Peter replied.
The door opened and something was thrown on top of him. "Left your backpack in the living room Parker."
"Ow!"
"What's wrong? Your spider tingles broken?"
Peter threw a pillow at the door. "Go away Harvey."
The older boy missed the pillow. "Alright, sheesh."
Peter had his back turned to the door, but he could clearly see the hallway light reflecting on his wall. "I said go away."
"I will." The same pillow from before smacked the young teen's head. "After you take back your crap back."
With a frustrated huff, Peter threw the pillow down beside his bed. "Would you knock it off?"
"Stop throwing things at me and I will."
"You're so annoying!" Peter curled into a ball. "Just leave me alone."
A silence fell over the room. For a brief moment, Peter thought Harvey had left.
"What's wrong with you?"
Peter sat up and whirled around to glare at the older boy. "Everything is wrong with me Harvey! School sucks, the city sucks, I suck, everything freaking sucks!"
Harvey held up his hands. "Calm down spiderkid."
"Spiderman."
"Anyway, this sounds like a typical Tuesday---."
"It's Wednesday."
The older boy looked to very close to straggling his surrogate brother. "Would you shut up for five seconds and listen?"
"Five."
"Peter---."
"Four."
"Not what I---."
"Three."
"Peter."
"Two."
"Peter!"
"One."
Harvey threw his hands up. "I give up."
"Then just leave! The door is right there."
A surprised look came over Harvey's face. "Are you kidding me? After all of the crap you gave me about opening up when things are bothering me you don't even have the decency to do the same!"
The young teen glanced away.
". . . Look Parker, I'm sorry I snapped at you." Harvey sat on the bed. "I'm not good at this whole talk things through."
It took a nudge for Peter to finally look up.
Harvey patted the bed near him. "But come on, we'll figure this out."
With great hesitation, Peter plopped on the bed next to Harvey.
The older boy adjusted so he was laying beside him with one arm behind his head. "Alright, roll film."
Peter shrugged. "Was just a crappy day."
"Come on Pete, after all of the times I tell you to shut up you finally get the chance to talk and you don't take it?"
" . . . I got into a fight."
Immediately, Harvey turned to the younger boy. "You?"
Peter nodded.
"You fought in school?"
"You don't have to say it like that---."
"What, like I'm proud?" Harvey slapped Peter's shoulder. "Dude, you got into a fight at school. That's sick!"
Peter furrowed his eyebrows together. "It's what?"
"You know, it's awesome."
"Really?"
"Heck yeah! It won't be when Tony finds out, but come on. You took down someone and, considering you're not front page news, no one found out you were Spiderman!"
"And that's sick?"
Harvey shoved his brother's shoulder. "Sick, dope, happening, whatever you call it. It's still awesome."
That single comment brought a smile to Peter's face. "Thanks I guess."
"Now when Tony finds out, you agree not to do it again alright . . . But one of us will be proud."
Peter blushed and looked away.
"Come on." Harvey nudged. "I know that's not the only thing. What else happened?"
The younger boy shrugged. "Just a stubborn criminal and a horrible news reporter who dragged Spiderman through the mud."
"Sorry bout that Pete."
Peter shrugged. "It happens."
"Still. You do all this work for Queens and someone decides to rip you to shreds for it . . . Gotta sting."
"You're not wrong."
After the comment, both boys fell quiet. It wasn't a tense quiet, but a nice quiet that let the words digest.
Suddenly, the quiet was broken by Harvey sitting up. "Hey, do me a favor."
"What?"
The older boy grabbed a pillow. "Tell me their names."
"What?"
"Tell me their names." Harvey plopped the pillow over Peter's face. "So I can punch their stupid faces."
"Hey!"
As Peter struggled to get the pillow off of his face, Harvey gave light playful punches to the pillow. "Like this! And this! And this!"
"Ack! Hehey! Knock ihit ohoff!"
The older boy smirked. "Or, I could give them one of these."
Before Peter could ask, Harvey dug one of his hands into the young teen's armpit.
Peter squealed as he turtled on to one side. "HARVEY!"
"A few armpit tickles should take care of them no problem!"
The young teen pushed on the older boy's hand. "HARVEHEY! NOO!"
"You're right Parker." The hand in Peter's armpit moved to pinch his ribs. "Rib pinches would be way more effective."
"AHH! NAAAA!" A little extra wiggling brought Peter's face out from under the pillow. "YOU JEHERK!"
Harvey chuckled at the red faced giggling mess that was his surrogate brother. "Yeheah, rib pinches are extremely effectihive."
With a snort, Peter curled into a ball as he tried to grab Harvey's wrists. "NOT THERE! NOHOT THEHERE!"
"Not where?" Harvey's hands dug into his lower ribs. "Not here?"
"AH!"
The older boy kept one hand on the attack while the other scratched at his face. He had attempted to grow a beard like Tony but it aggrevated his face. He had almost shaved it this morning. Now he was glad he hadn't because an idea popped into his head.
"What is it Tony likes to do?" Harvey dragged a finger along Peter's tummy that had been exposed from his wriggling. "Use his secret weapon?"
A hand pushed at Harvey's face. "Don't you eheven thihink about ihit!"
The older boy pinned his surrogate brother's wrists. "Already have."
A moment later, Peter squealed as Harvey rubbed his face across his tummy. "NAHAHA--snort--THAT SUHUCKS!"
"What do you need to say if you want to stop?"
The words would be reassuring if they weren't spoken directly into his tummy. "I know! Ihi knohow!"
"Well . . ."
Peter bit his lip. He was having to much fun to call it quits.
"That's what I thought."
"Shut uhup!"
Harvey repinned Peter's wrists. "Bite me."
Another squeal rang through the room as Harvey buried his face back into Peter's tummy. He was having almost as much fun as Peter. Then he decided to amp it up by blowing raspberries into the young teen's tummy.
Peter straight up cackled at the ticklish sparks shooting across his stomach. The stubbly facial hair rooted out any snorts that may be hiding. "JEHERK!"
Harvey lifted his head. "Is that the only insult you got?"
"What is going on in here?" A new voice exclaimed. "Why does it sound like someone is dying?"
Both boys froze as Tony walked through the bedroom door.
The billionaire scientist leaned against the doorframe. "Care to explain?"
"I'm just tickling him Tony." The older boy pinched Peter's cheek. "He's just too cute."
Peter pulled his face away. "Shut uhup!"
"Odd, usually you need a motive to launch a tickle attack."
Harvey rolled his eyes. "He was having a rough day. I was trying to be nice."
Tony moved to sit on the bed. "Aww, aren't you a sweetheart."
The older boy glared as Peter snickered. "I'm not!"
"But come on, you didn't invite me to the party?"
Both Harvey and Tony grinned as Peter's eyes went comically wide. "Tony yohou traitohor!"
"Oh please." The older scientist patted Peter's leg. "If he hadn't, I would."
"Ihi know."
"But hey, you and I are having a talk about this later alright?"
The young teen nodded. "Okahay."
"For now, I think you need a bigger smile on that face of yours."
Immediately, Peter was returned to a cackling, squirming mess as Tony added his own raspberries to his tummy. "EEEK!"
Harvey playfully pouted. "Hey! I had that spot first!"
"Oh? Is that a challenge?"
"Wahait! Whahat!"
"You're on old man!" Harvey handed him one of Peter's arms. "First one to make him squeal gets to blow raspberries."
"Are yohou crazy!"
Tony took the arm and pinned it with his knee. "Deal!"
"You twoho ahare trying toho kill mehe!"
"Come on, you're not even tired out yet." A quick side squeeze got a squeak. "You can handle a quick bet underoos."
A different hand spidered down his side, producing another squeak. "Don't you trust us Petey?"
"Yohou shohould behe in aha horrohor moviEEE!"
"Oo, that was closer." Tony continued his rib attack. "But not quite a squeal."
"YOHOU'RE EVIL!"
Harvey's finger started doing spirals around Peter's tummy. "I bet I know where those squeals are hiding."
"Dohon't yohou dahare Harvey!"
The finger circled closer. "Don't what?"
"Yohou knohow whahat!"
"No I don't." By now, his finger was circling the rim of Peter's belly button. "That's why I'm asking you."
Peter growled through his giggles.
"I'm so scared," Harvey teased as he wiggled his finger inside the teen's belly button.
And Peter squealed.
"Ha!" The older boy pulled his finger out. "I get to blow the raspberries."
Tony playfully pushed Harvey. "No fair! You already did a bunch."
Peter squirmed. "Neitheher ohof yohou could blow thehem!"
"Hush underoos." Tony readjusted. "No need to get impatient."
Meanwhile, Harvey smirked. "If we both want to blow them, why don't we?"
"Whahat!"
"What a great idea Harvey," Tony grinned.
"You take the right, I'll take the left."
"Guys! Guhuys!"
"You're on!"
Before Peter could get out another protest, both Tony and Harvey dove down to blow raspberries into his tummy.
The young teen went ballistic. One person blowing them was torturous, but two people blowing them left Peter a high-pitched cackling extremely squirmy mess underneath the two tickle monsters.
But all fun has it's limits. "UNCLE! UHUNCLLLLE!"
Immediately, both Harvey and Tony pulled away.
The young teen rolled on to his side and wrapped his arms around his middle. "N-noho m-mohore."
"Are ya in a better mood now?" Tony asked.
Peter nodded. "Yehes."
"You know what Petey?" Harvey ruffled his hair. "I think I'm gonna use raspberries on those meanies."
Peter playfully shoved his surrogate brother. "Jeherk."
Tony cocked his head. "Meanies?"
Harvey held up a hand. "That's Spideykid's story to tell later."
"I'm rihight here!"
The older boy dropped the blanket over Peter's head. "That's Spideykid's story to tell later."
Tony shook his head as Peter popped his head back out to glare at his brother. "You can tell me later kihid, but we are going to talk."
Peter nodded. "I knohow. Ihi will."
"Come on." The older scientist stood. "Let's grab Morgan and order some pizza."
Both boys jumped up. "Pizza?"
Tony shrugged as he headed toward the door. "Why not? It's Friday night."
"But it's Wednesday."
Harvey elbowed Peter and hissed, "Shut up or he'll order anchovies!"
"Come on slow pokes, let's go," Tony called again before he disappeared down the hall.
Harvey playfully shoved Peter. "Last one to the kitchen is stupid!"
"Hey!" Peter raced after the older boy. "Cheater!"
Harvey stuck his tongue out. "Come and catch me Spideykid!"
"It's Spiderman!" Peter followed him around the corner. "And you know it!"
Yet however annoying his family could be, Peter was thankful to have them. They could make a rough day seem better and could change his bad attitude into good.
So when he finally tackled Harvey to the floor, Peter flopped on top of him and wrapped him in a hug.
"What are you doing?" Harvey asked.
"Saying thanks for putting up with me."
The older boy tried to cover up a smile, but Peter caught the edges of it. "You're welcome Parker. . . Now move your butt before you squash me."
"But you're so comfy!"
Harvey pushed on the teen. "Peter, if you don't get off, I'm going to tickle you again!"
Peter stayed quiet, but he didn't move.
"Really?"
"Shut uhup!"
Harvey smirked before digging in to Peter's neck. "You're lucky you're cute, otherwise I'd kill your annoying butt."
The teen dissolved into squealy giggles as Harvey tickled him again. Meanwhile, he could hear Morgan begging Tony for cheese pizza as he talked over the phone.
Yeah his family was crazy, but he wouldn't change them for the world.
