Careful where you enter II
Tumblr media
It’s finally here!! Part 2. I've been rather gone from this blog, but I finished this last night at 3 am and I'm trying to get back into writing pace soo here it iss.. Hope you enjoy!!
She kept going to your cell, something was still pulling her to you. To your shiny eyes.
She wondered if it was the reflection of the light or if you had been crying. Maybe it was the colour of your eyes, maybe something unique to your kind.
A kind they knew nothing of.
Somehow you dodged the question every time she asked it. She’d enter the room to ask only that, and she’d leave after telling you about her childhood and her many sleepless nights. Still empty handed.
“What do you want?” She asked, sitting in a little chair in front of you, with the glass playing with her eyes.
You thought about it for a long minute, often humming to yourself as ideas took over your mind. “I want out.”
“I don’t know if I can do that for you.” She said, rather defeated.
The glint in your eyes left, and your gaze dropped to your hands. “Well, it was a long shot anyways,” you smiled. “I think you should leave now, miss Luthor. Thank you for your visit.”
-
A glaring red light coloured the halls of the D.E.O., as Lena found herself wandering once more through the prisoner’s wing.
You had asked her for the codes, and in a forgotten act, she had even given them to you. She remembered your grin and the glint in your eyes, although your words escaped her memories.
“I trusted you,” she said, closing the gate to your cell behind her.
You raised your eyebrow, “That was your mistake, my dear.”
Her breath grew heavy, and her vision blurred itself with tears. “Why?”
“I needed one of them, to get out,” you stated. “You were perfect, darling. It’s in your nature to help people, as it’s in mine to deceive them.”
“But why me?”
“Because you‘re fascinating.”
“No really, why?” She asked again.
“You don’t believe me.” You looked at her. “You, Miss Luthor, are one of the most extraordinary people I’ve ever met. I felt it that very first day you crossed that door. So full of hope and wanting so much love…” You clicked your tongue.
“Is that why you chose me, because I wanted to feel loved? Is that why you tricked me into giving you the codes, because I was easy to fool?” She said, her voice cracking.
“Oh, no. No no no, you mistake me for one of your friends. I chose you because I found you… Irresistible. Because I want you by my side, Miss Luthor.” She rolled her eyes at that, but you paid it no mind. “Being the bad guy can be lonely,” you muttered.
“Well get used to it. Because I will not join you. Not now, not ever.”
You shrugged at her attempt at an insult, “Never say that. Don’t close the opportunities, dear. You’ll come back for me - once you realise who has really been tricking you from the very beginning.”
“What does that mean?”
“Ask Supergirl… Or her sister, they’re both in the building.” Lena got up at that last part, what an unusual set of words. “Unlike me.”
There it was. What Lena didn’t know but had been expecting once she heard it. As she moved closer to you she saw a device on the floor, and a blinking light.
“Don’t let the light trick you, Miss Luthor. You’ll find me, do not worry. We’re connected, you and I,” you told her before the hologram she had been speaking to for the last half hour faded away.
She ran out of the room as fast as she could, making her way into the main hall to speak to Alex.
“Did anything happen, Lena?” The agent asked her.
She bit her tongue, connecting the dots. “Can we talk in private?”
“Of course, this way,” Alex walked with her into an office nearby.
“Are you okay?” She asked Lena.
“I have a question…” Alex nodded so she kept on, “Supergirl. Who is she?”
Alex’s eyes widened in surprise. She had spoken to Kara about it, but it was Kara herself who had to tell Lena. It was her secret.
“Both you and Supergirl have come for my help countless times. I just want to know who I’m helping.”
“Yes. I understand, Lena, I do. I just… I don’t know if I can tell you.” Lena scoffed and Alex raised her arms, trying to stop Lena from walking away. “It’s not my secret.”
“But it is, It’s your secret too. Isn’t it?” Alex tried to talk, but Lena interrupted her. “Yours and Kara’s.”
“How…”
Lena shut her eyes, stopping her tears from falling through her cheeks, and left the office, not uttering one word.
Instead, she started to search for you. She had been staying at the D.E.O., but L-Corp still had some toys.
She found you in an abandoned building, on the last floor. The power shut off, only lit by the night light.
“What did you mean when you said we were connected?” She asked into the room.
“Remember that first day we met,” you said, standing by the opposite wall to her.
“Vaguely…”
You started to walk in her direction, not close enough that she could hurt you. “Well, I remember it perfectly. At least one little part of it.”
“What part?”
“The part where you gave me your name,” you grinned, taking another step in her direction.
It seemed to click in her mind, “You never gave me yours…”
“Of course not, one’s name is their most powerful weapon, or their biggest weakness. Neither of which I’d want people to know.”
“Why did you pick me?” She asked again. “Really this time.”
One more lazy step in front of her, “There’s so much potential.”
She furrowed her brows, trying to see where you were getting at.
“With your brain, and my wit. We could be huge. We could rule the world,” you said, just one step away from her.
She took one in your direction as you grinned, “When do we start?”

╚════════ ⋇⋆✦⋆⋇⋆✦⋆⋇ ════════╝
It was a brisk morning in National City, and the aftermath of the previous day's epic battle were still evident. Kara had fought tirelessly against a formidable alien threat, leading to an intense solar flare. She had been drained completely of her Kyrptonian abilities.
Ignoring her pounding headache and the chills that racked her body, Kara dragged herself out of bed and donned herself in a thick jumper and pants. She hoped that the outfit would help warm her up a little, but as she looked in the mirror, she couldn't help but notice the paleness of her usually vibrant face.
Taking the bus was the worse decision she could’ve made. It was awful. Everything seemed to swirl and spin around her. Not only that the clammy atmosphere and cramped seats made her feel as if she was being boiled – wearing this jumper was definitely not a good idea.
As the bus finally arrived at CatCo Worldwide Media, Kara stumbled off, feeling more disoriented than ever. She clutched her bag tightly and forced a weak smile as she entered the building. The fluorescent lights seemed extra bright, and the noise of the bustling office felt like an assault on her senses. She desperately tried to push through the fatigue and make her way to Lena’s office to get her morning debriefing.
Kara sneezed; the sound amplified by the quiet surroundings as everyone turned to look. Her weakened muscles couldn't keep her fully balanced, and she swayed dangerously. Instinctively, she reached out to steady herself against the nearest wall, but her fingers only grazed the surface before she lost her balance completely.
“Kara? Kara!” Lena yelled seeing the blonde physically stumble into a reporter's desk, rubbing at her nose with her sleeve and mumbling something under breath.
“Kara, what on earth are you doing?” The Luthor asked, she reached out to pull her into her office but as Lena’s hand met Kara’s skin her eyes widened in concern at the blazing heat radiating from her.
“Mmmh ‘ere to work.” She slurred, “‘s got a job to do.”
Lena practically carried Kara into her office where she sat her down on the sofa, placing her hand gently on her forehead, “Shit Kara, you’re really burning up. Why on earth would you come in with a fever like this, never mind better question, how did you get here like this?”
Her mind was racing with the million dangerous things that could’ve happened to her. Kara was the first ever real friend she’d had and something like this filled her with worry.
“Mmh’ took ‘s bus”. Kara mumbled before breaking off into a chesty sounding cough, curling further in on herself.
Lena was kneeling down at her side with some water in an instant, “Honey you need to drink this,” she instructed, holding the glass to her lips as she supported the back of the blonde’s head, helping her drink, “I’m gonna call Y/N, alright? They’ll come pick you up. In the meantime, you’re going to sleep. I’ve never seen you like this.”
Kara shivered, chills running down her exposed arms, “I am?”
“Yes. You are, stay here and I’ll go get you a blanket from storage.” Lena sighed before hurriedly going off towards storage.
Despite Lena's best efforts to convince Kara to rest and take care of herself, the stubborn Kryptonian journalist was having none of it. As soon as Lena left to get a blanket, Kara attempted to get up from the sofa, but her weakened state caused her to stumble - it was by some sheer stroke of luck that she managed to stay upright.
“Excuse me?” A sudden stern voice stopped her in her tracks, “Kara what the hell are you doing up?” Lena sighed, leading the mumbling girl back to the sofa, instructing her to lay down before draping a soft grey blanket over her.
Kara's eyes drifted closed as exhaustion weighed heavily on her. "But I hav’ responsibilities..."
"You're no good to anyone if you push yourself to the point of collapse," Lena insisted firmly. "Trust me, the world can wait. Right now, you need to prioritise your health."
Kara groaned weakly, her eyes half-lidded as she mumbled, "Can't rest... people... need Supergirl."
Lena furrowed her brows in concern, just how delirious was this girl, "Supergirl can handle things. Right now, you need to focus on getting better. You can trust her to take care of the city."
"Nooo... I am Supergirl," Kara murmured, her voice barely audible as she coughed again.
Lena's eyes widened, and she leaned in closer, thinking she must have misheard. "What did you say?"
"I'm Supergirl," Kara repeated, her words clearer this time, though her eyes were still unfocused, “Its’s me.”
Lena couldn't help but let out a small, disbelieving laugh. "Kara, you're just delirious from the fever honey. It's okay. I know you're dedicated to your job, but you don't have to pretend to be Supergirl right now."
Kara's brow furrowed, and she weakly protested, "No, I mean it. I'm Supergirl... I've always been Supergirl. I can fly like woosh.” She made the motion with her hand which apparently was a bad idea and she groaned in response.
Lena sighed, deciding to play along with Kara's delusion to keep her calm. "Alright, alright. Of course, you’re Supergirl. Now, close your eyes and get some rest, okay?” Boy, was she going to tease her about this once she was feeling better.
As Kara drifted in and out of consciousness, Lena kept a watchful eye on her, making sure she stayed as comfortable as possible. She grabbed her phone and dialled a number she knew by heart, putting the phone on speaker so she could tend to Kara while waiting for the call to connect.
After a few rings, a familiar voice answered, "Hey, Lena, what's up?"
"Y/N, it's Kara. She's really sick," Lena replied, concern evident in her voice.
"Oh no, is she okay?" You asked, immediately picking up on Lena's worried tone. You didn’t hear it often so when you didn’t you knew it was serious.
"She’s got a pretty high fever, and she's delirious, probably the flu I think. Can you come to CatCo and take her home? I'm really worried about her," Lena explained, glancing at Kara, who was still half-conscious on the sofa.
"Of course, I'll be right there," You replied reassuringly, as you searched your pockets for your car keys, "Tell her I'm on my way."
You rushed to CatCo , worrying about Kara's condition. When you arrived, you found Lena sitting next to Kara, who was wrapped in a blanket and looking awfully pale. Lena looked relieved to see you and quickly filled you in on what had happened there.
"She's been insisting she's Supergirl," Lena whispered to you, a hint of amusement in her voice, "I think it's just the fever talking, but she's really out of it."
You gave Kara a gentle smile and stroked her hair as you tried to hide the flicker of worry. Kara never told anyone about Supergirl, you’d been there countless times when hiding the truth became too much so to hear she’d finally said it in her feverish delirium, well that worried you a little. At least Lena didn’t seem to buy it. "Hey, Supergirl, I'm here to take you home. Let's get you out of here and into bed, okay?"
Kara weakly smiled back at you, her eyes still unfocused, "Y/N?”
"It’s me sweetheart," you replied, trying to keep your voice light to put her at ease. "You should’ve told me this morning you were sick; you should’ve stayed home love.”
You carefully helped Kara stand up, supporting her with your arm around her waist as she swayed slightly. Lena followed closely; concern etched on her face. With your help, you managed to get Kara outside and into your car, laying her down in the backseat.
As you drove back to her apartment, Kara drifted in and out of consciousness, occasionally muttering something about saving people and protecting the city. You kept as close as an eye possible on her in the rearview mirror, making sure she was okay as you quickly got her home.
As soon as you reached Kara's apartment, you carefully carried her inside, laying her down on her bed. Lena followed behind, offering her assistance. Together, you made sure Kara was comfortable and tucked her in under the covers. The apartment was cooler than CatCo, which was a relief to the very clammy Kara.
Her fevered mind seemed to latch onto your comforting presence as she reached out to grab your hand before you could leave, “Stay?”
"Of course, I will baby." you replied, feeling a mix of worry and tenderness for the woman lying in front of you. You had seen her as Supergirl, strong and confident, but seeing her vulnerable like this was a reminder that in some ways she was just as human as you were. You climbed onto the bed and settled down beside her, making sure to keep a safe distance so she wouldn't feel overheated. "Just rest, and I'll be here if you need anything."
Kara shifted slightly closer to you, seeking your warmth and comfort. She curled up against your side, resting her head on your shoulder. "Thank you," she whispered, "You always take care of me."
"You're welcome, Kara," you replied softly, gently rubbing her back to soothe her. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
As Kara nuzzled against you, seeking solace in your presence, she let out a small, involuntary sneeze. The sound was muffled by your chest, and you could feel her body shivering with chills. You pulled the covers up to her shoulders, ensuring she was snug and warm.
"Sorry," Kara sniffled, sounding apologetic, "I can't seem to stop sneezing."
"It's okay, don't worry about it," you reassured her, running your fingers through her hair. "Just focus on resting and getting better. I'll take care of you."
Kara's eyes fluttered closed, and she let out a tired sigh. "You're the best," she whispered, her words slurring slightly from exhaustion.
“You’re the best too but maybe we can work on staying home when we’re sick and not spilling your secret to everyone?” You teased whilst rubbing her back sweetly.
Kara managed a weak chuckle, her eyes still closed. "Yeah, maybe I should work on that." she mumbled, her voice growing fainter as she drifted closer to sleep.

You are almost you again.
Supergirl, B!D, Kara Danvers x Sister!Reader, Alex Danvers x Sister!Reader, Lena Luthor x Reader, Reader insert.
Word Count: 2820.
Warning: Eating disorder! Please don’t read it if it’s a trigger! Please!
Notes: prompt by @greysgirl2456, I hope i did ok with this one.
“Y/N! I’m so glad you came in. God, I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever.” Lena says as soon as you walk into her office. “I’m going to sue your company if they send you on another business trip soon.”
“I know, right?” You come closer, ready to walk into her open and welcoming arms. “I’ve been out of National City so much, yesterday I forgot my own address. I almost ended up in Kara’s place.”
“She would’ve loved that.” Lena smiles and hugs you tenderly. She breathes in, sounding extremely satisfied to have you in her arms. “I’ve missed you, darling.”
“I’ve missed you too, Lee.” You finally part the hug, looking at her with a wide smile.
“Come, let’s catch up over lunch.”
It’s a simple word. Lunch. Jesus, people talk about lunch and dinner all the time, and yet this simple word makes your body shiver in anticipation. Because lunch involves eating, and you, well, you’re not particularly fond of eating.
Except there is one thing you learned with this particular group of people, the Superfriends, is that everything has to be done over food. This is mainly because Kara is an alien and needs or likes food more than anything else in this world, but it became a habit to them. And that, unfortunately, means that you have to join.
“Oh,” Your body stiffens, when she moves around her office, with a big sushi platter in hand. “I didn’t know that’s what we were doing. Had I known I wouldn’t have eaten on my way here.”
“Oh no, really? I ordered your favorite.” You look at the food on her hands. This was once your favorite, she is right. But now… “Just have a bite with me.” Lena pleads moving to the couch. “All this traveling is making you lose too much weight.”
“What? No, it hasn’t.” You look at yourself, on your much larger clothes, because yeah, you have been losing weight and haven’t been around in National City much and when you are, the last thing you want to do is go out to buy new ones.
“Y/N.” Your name comes in a condescending tone that you hate. “Please. You’re like half of who you used to be.”
You move to the couch, sitting next to her. You must be doing some kind of face because she reaches out for your hand, supportively.
“I know how hard it is eating right when work is so demanding of you. Trust me, I’ve been there.” She smiles, fond and sweet and you agree with your head. Sure, let’s blame it on work, this sure is easier.
“Yeah, you get it.” You smile back at her, praying she doesn’t realize how fake you sound. “I’m basically living on a plane.”
“I know, darling.” She reassures you, sensing your guilt. “So why don’t we just sit here for 30 minutes, eat, and catch up on each other’s lives?” She asks, not breaking eye contact. “Shall we?”
You can’t say no. You wish you could, it would be a lot easier, but she might find it weird, and you can't have people catching on.
“Sure.” You smile, though on the inside you’re feeling quite the opposite. Right now, you wish you had Kara’s powers so you can fake an emergency and just fly out the window.
Yet, you eat, and talk, and do exactly what Lena had planned.
It’s something else, this thing you’re going through. You would feel guilty if you didn’t sit here and eat with Lena, but once you do, you also feel guilty as hell for putting so much food inside you.
It has become an obsession. One you haven’t found a way to break. One you don’t want anyone to know or worry about. One that makes you feel shameful and worse every time you do it, which only leads you to doing it more.
“Ms. Luthor? I’m sorry to interrupt your lunch, but the scientists need feedback on the new prototype.” Lena’s assistant shoots as soon as she opens the door and when she is done talking, Lena looks at you apologetic.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I’ll just say yes or no to this. Five minutes tops.”
“Oh,” you stand up when you see her moving. “I could-I could leave.”
“No, please don’t.” Lena holds your hand. “There’s still a lot to talk about and I haven’t seen you in weeks. Please stay. I’ll be right back.”
“Okay, yeah, sure.”
Lena smiles at you, before accompanying her assistant out of her office, leaving you alone. You’ve been here too many times before, so you know exactly where the bathroom is. You look around furtively, before making your way there. There’s no one around, but you make sure to check it three times before going inside.
“Oh, I forgot the-” Lena looks at you, kneeled before her toilet, and your mind goes blank for a second, before being filled with crappy explanations in an angry rush. “Oh, Y/N.”
It’s the way she says your name that gives away the fact that she knows exactly what is going on. Which makes your heart sit heavy inside, and the food comes back out without you having to force it.
“The sushi-” You try when you raise your head again. Lena doesn’t look like she’ll believe whatever you have to say for yourself, but she still makes her way to where you are and holds your hair in a high ponytail.
“You’re ok. Come on, darling. Let’s get you cleaned up.”
You’re filled with shame, and your face burns red in embarrassment. You can’t believe you got caught. You can’t believe Lena knows. She knows. It’s all you can think about. It’s your most stealthy and dark secret, something you wouldn’t -couldn’t- even tell your therapist, and yet, Lena knows.
And if Lena knows, then she’ll tell Kara. Then Kara will obviously tell Alex. Alex will tell her wife Kelly. And oh my God, the food tries to make its way back to your mouth and you breathe deep holding it down. Because somewhere between Lena helping you up and your negative thoughts while your mind spirals out of control, Lena is cleaning your face so you can’t throw up again.
She cleans one tear, you think, when her thumb strokes your face lightly. “It’s ok.” She guarantees.
But it’s not ok. It hasn’t been ok in months. It has been nothing, but you being stuck inside your raging mind, with a voice yelling that you’re not good enough, that everything you do is wrong, that you can’t control anything in your life except this. It’s a voice you haven’t heard before compelling you to act in the most harmful ways you can think of.
How do you tell Lena that you have been demanding, begging, for more work so you will have something else to think about aside from what to eat or not, how hard to exercise, how many calories you need to eat to survive, and how many can you take away from that, so you can continue to be in control of your body?
“Darling, you can talk to me.”
Can you? What can you say for yourself?
“Yeah, um, I think the sushi didn’t sit well.” You finally detach yourself from her, smiling through the tears. “Sorry you had to see that.” You flush and smile harder, forced, fake. “I should get going. You have to work, and I still have so many things to do.” You pass her going straight for your things, still talking, so she doesn’t have time to argue. “Thanks for this, Lee. I’ll see you soon, ok?”
“You promise?” Lena asks before you slip out the door.
“Yeah.”
What’s one more lie for someone who hasn’t been able to tell the truth for months?
To say that you threw yourself into work after that would be an understatement. Your sisters have been texting you for days about game night, then sisters night, then a CatCo event, but all of their texts are left on ‘seen’.
Sisters group chat:
Alex: What’s the point of a group chat if only me and Kara talk?
Alex: Y/N do you mind letting your sisters know that you are ok?
Kara: Y/N! ANSWER NOW OR I’LL SEND THE COPS!
Y/N: Gosh, you guys are so melodramatic. I’m fine!
Alex: Oh, would you look at that. She is alive, everyone!
Kara: Is she? Someone else might have her phone.
Kara: Picture now or I’ll still send the cops.
Y/N: Who are you sending over, Maggie?
Alex: Don’t be funny. Picture of yourself from now or I’ll call mom and tell her you’re on drugs.
Y/N: You wouldn’t dare.
Alex: Try me.
Y/N: You’re a dick.
Y/N: photo 📷
Y/N: Happy now?
Y/N: Hello?
Y/N: Alex DO NOT CALL MOM!
You abandon your phone on the dinner table, rubbing your eyes, trying to get rid of the sleep that is creeping in. You still have a lot of work to do, you need more coffee if you want to keep working.
It’s so fast the way your brain starts calculating how many calories you can still have today and if an extra cup of black coffee is worth all of it.
“Just one more.” You agree with your raging mind, while promising yourself you’ll eat even less tomorrow.
You’re on your way to the kitchen counter when you hear the doorbell. If they sent the cops, you swear to God.
“Baby.” Kara says, arms open wide, pulling you inside her arms for a long hug.
“I sent the picture!” You don’t make any move out of her embrace, but you’re annoyed they are both here after you did exactly what they asked and sent proof you’re still alive.
“And we saw that you’re still working!” Alex makes her way inside your apartment with two bags in her hands. It’s food. You can smell it and your stomach growls. “It’s late and it’s Sunday. Honestly Y/N, give it a rest.”
“I can’t.” You finally let yourself out of Kara’s embrace and turn around to look at Alex. “I can’t give it a rest until I’m done, ok? I have a deadline, Alex.”
“Baby.” Kara says again, and you turn to look at her this time. She looks at you in pity. “I haven’t seen you in a month, and I know you’re hungry. Let’s just eat together.”
“I’m not hungry.” Your stomach growls, proving that you are lying. “It’s growling with impatience.”
“Yeah, sure.” Kara ignores you, making her way inside to where Alex is. “I swear, next time I hug you I might break your bones if you keep forgetting to eat because of work.”
Hm.
They don’t know.
Lena didn’t tell them about the, um, incident.
“Guys, I appreciate you both worrying about me.” No, you don’t. You wish they would just leave you alone. “But this is a huge project, and the deadline is so close. I promise we’ll hang out more once I’m done with this.”
Kara, ignoring you completely, goes to your laptop, while Alex opens your fridge.
“Gee, there’s nothing here. This is either a fake fridge or you’ve found out a way to live without food.”
“Great, go around my apartment, why not?” You mumble to yourself and groan when Kara closes your laptop. “GODDAMNIT KARA!”
“Don’t worry, I know how to save a document.” She moves the laptop out of the way, along with all of your papers, making space for the food that Alex is bringing to set on the table.
“Seriously, I’m really busy.” You make your way to them, crossing your arms and hardening your features. Something’s gotta work.
“Sit down and have dinner, Y/N.” Alex pulls the chair for you. “I’m not going to say it twice.”
“I’m not your child, Alex.”
“I know you’re not. Because Esme knows when it’s time to eat, and she knows better than to argue with me about it.” Alex points at the chair, while passing Kara a dish. “Well?”
Reluctantly, you sit next to her. Kara serves you food, while Alex fills a glass of water for you. They wait until you have the first bite, so they can start eating too.
Your stomach thanks you, satisfied with real food going in, while your mind angrily shouts at you that tomorrow you’ll have to run farther, eat less, and so on. When you finish everything on your plate, feeling guilty and satiated at the same time, and are about to tell your sisters they have to leave so you can keep working, Alex clears her throat.
“So.” Alex starts, eyeing Kara to stop inhaling her food. “There’s something we want to talk to you about.”
Kara sets her food aside, looking way too serious. That makes your heart beat faster. “We’ve been noticing for a while that you haven’t been eating a lot.”
Oh no.
“Then Lena told me about what happened the last time you saw each other.”
“I felt sick with the sushi she bought. Don’t blame me.”
“We’re not blaming you.” Alex reassures you, immediately touching your arm for comfort. “We really just want to understand what’s going on, baby. We’re just worried.”
“You don’t have to. I’m fine.” They are not buying, and your heart is beating out of your chest, whilst your mind is being filled with blame and accusations. “I’m just working a lot and traveling so much.”
“Baby, your face is pale and bony. And just by looking at you I’m sure you are malnourished.” Alex gives you her best mother voice, and you think of all the times she’s done that before. “Don’t tell us there’s nothing wrong. We’re way past that. We want to understand what is happening with you, so we can help.”
Your first reaction is to fight it. To tell them there’s absolutely nothing wrong, that you don’t need help and that they must leave so you can go back to work. But it all comes crumbling down when Kara wraps you up in her arms, picking you up from where you are, and moving to the couch with you.
You feel like a child. Not only because of the way she’s holding you, or how they’re talking to you, but because you look so small when wrapped around Kara’s arms. You feel skeletal, your mind is sick and angry at your own existence, and sure, you are definitely malnourished.
So when Kara kisses the top of your head, and Alex sits on your coffee table with a worried face and a hand on your knee for encouragement, tears stream down your face uncontrollably.
“I don’t know what’s going on, I just-” You cry and cry. They wait patiently for your time, for your truth. “I just hate myself. And sometimes I hate everyone around me, and work and life. And God, this is the only thing I can control. It’s the only thing in my life I can control, so I need it.”
“Hey.” Kara kisses your temple. “You don’t need it. You don’t. We love you so much, baby.”
“But why?” You beg. “I’m not-”
“Yes, you are.” Alex stops you before you go on with harming words about yourself. “You are amazing. You’re smart, and sweet, and beautiful, and funny, and so important to us. You are everything you see on everyone else but yourself, ok?”
“Alex.” You cry her name out of your lips and she gets it. Your older sister completely gets you.
“I’m here.” She holds both of your wrists, squeezing it gently. “I’m with you. We’re with you forever and we’re going to get over this together, ok?”
“I don’t even know what to do, where to start, I-”
“To be honest, baby, neither do we.” Kara holds you tighter. “But here’s one thing we know. We’ll be with you every step of the way.”
“We’ll learn how to deal with it together.” Alex calms you. “One step at a time, ok?” She cleans your tears with her hands. “You’ll have everything you need. Medical help, our help, friends’ support. We’ll give you everything so you can overcome this, baby.”
Alex gets up from the coffee table and sits next to Kara. Soon you are enveloped between both of your sisters’ loving arms, while they restate that there’s nothing wrong with you, and that they love you very much.
You love them too, even if sometimes along the way to recovery you find yourself hating what they’re doing, you make sure to remember that you need them and love them so dearly much, and that they are the best sisters in the universe.
It’s a hard, long road full of bumps, cracks, and obstacles, but with their help it gets you where you need to be and you start feeling like yourself again.

------------
Alex was fighting an alien when something came to her mind, it was today, today you came back to National City. You were working for L-Corp, and Lena sent you to Central City to seal a deal with a potential business partner. The DEO agent was about to receive a punch, but her sister was here like a backup.
"What's going on, Alex?" Kara asked, and the older Danvers grabbed her arm and dragged her away from the other agents.
"It's today, Kara, and I didn't plan anything yet," she replied.
"Oh, you know how Y/N loves Valentine's Day; she will be mad if you haven't already planned anything. And she would be tired from the travel, so I'm sure she didn't plan anything either. You have like three hours to prepare something," the Kryptonian said, and the redhead rolled her eyes before suddenly stopping.
"Wait, I also forgot it was Valentine's Day today; oh my God, she will be mad," the director started to stress.
"Okay, calm down. I think Lena and I can give you some time," the blond said.
"But you have something to do with Lena too," the older sister said.
"Don't worry, I'll just take her to Ireland for this year," Kara said. "Oh, and you probably handle DEO stuff for yourself for the next few days," she added before flying away.
Three hours later, you were back in National City. You spent a week away from your girlfriend and your two best friends. You wanted to go directly home and start preparing everything you had planned for your special night, but you received a text from Lena.
Lena: Hey, I hope you had a good week. They called me about the meeting, and I know I made the best choice to send it to you. Also, can you come here? I need your help and your advice on something
You: Is it really important right now?
Lena: yeah, I need you to teach me how to cook something for my night with Kara
You: but can't you just order something?
Lena: yes but I want to surprise her and you're the best cooker I know
You: okay but we will do something quick cause I'm tired
Lena: promise
"Okay, she's coming," Lena said. "Great, I'll text Alex to let her know." Kara replied.
Kara: Lena convince Y/n to help her with cooking; you have 2 more hours, I think, to finish your thing.
Alex: thanks you. you're the best both of you
After twenty minutes, you were at Lena's home. "Hi you, I missed you," she greeted you when she opened the door. She hugged you.
"Me too," you replied with the same tone, "so what do you plan to do for your girl?" You asked, and she started to think.
"I don't know, maybe a dessert with some chocolate, you know, like fondant," she said, and you nodded.
"Okay, I think we can start with that, but you'll not just eat a dessert; we should think about a proper meal," you remarked.
"Maybe pop stickers, sushi, and pasta, or maybe just a big belly burger," you face palm yourself.
"Okay, we have to talk about your food habit later, but right now, don't you think Kara would want something else than just what she eats usually?" You said, and try not to judge her lack of imagination for a special night.
"I think you're right, so what do you suggest I do?" You smirked, and she started to regret having to distract you.
Meanwhile, in Alex's apartment, she was cooking your favorite food and trying not to 'accidentally' hurt or burn her sister, who didn't really help her; Kara was just here and ate something sometime. "You didn't plan to help me?" Your girlfriend asked her sister, and the blue-eyed girl shook her head and smiled 'innocently' "So what are you doing here?" the older sister added.
"Lena and Y/n are cooking for me in Lena's apartment; that means I can't go to see my girlfriend, and everybody is busy today, plus I don't want to be alone tonight," she replied.
"You can at least help me with the decoration," the blonde looked around.
"What do you want to do?" She was ready to use her super speed, but her sister handled some bills.
"You can go grab some flowers for me," the kryptonian mumbled something and walked to the door, "and take your time."
After a few more hours, all was ready. It was hard to help your boss, but you did it, and now it was time to go to your favorite place: Alex's house. When you knocked, Kara lowered her glasses to look across the wood. "It's her," she said to her sister before flying away. Alex adjusted her dress and opened the door.
You were almost trying to catch your jaw, which fell to the ground at the sight of your girlfriend. "Hi you," she said, and it brought you back to reality.
"Hi, you too." You kissed her and walked into the apartment. "You look stunning; like, wow, I don't even have a word to describe you." She blushed, and you gained another kiss.
"I missed you," she whispered near your lips.
"I missed you too, my beautiful girl," you replied, and she chuckled.
"Here," she grabbed your hand and dragged you on the couch, "I prepare something special for you." She quickly went to the kitchen and went back with a plate of food.
"Alex Danvers, you're the most precious girl on earth," you said, and this time it was her who gained a new kiss. "I love you."
"I love you too," she replied.

Y/N's Pov:
Lena Kieran Luthor was a billionaire businesswoman, head owner of L corp. The fun thing about it was that she was my girlfriend.
But for the past few days she's been ignoring me and leaving the house at random times. "Y/N are you there" I heard my best friend Nia say. I looked up at her and nodded my head. "Yeah I'm alright what were you saying" I said and she frowned. We were at the Alien bar that was in the city just hanging out. Here's the thing I'm a mutant well Tamaranean and Nia is the only one who knows about it.My full name is Y/N K'Lorel and I was an orphan all my life so I lived my whole life fending for myself. So when I met Lena everything changed.
"So where's Lena at" Nia said and I scoffed. "Probably off working like always" I said before downing the glass of scotch that was in my hand. I waved the bartender over and she handed me another glass. "I don't know how you're not drunk yet you've had 10 of them" the bartender said and I just laughed. "I'm an alien" I said and she laughed before walking off to helping another customer.
Lena's Pov:
I was helping supergirl take down an alien when my phone started ringing. I looked over to see Y/N's name pop up on the screen but I just ignored it. "Lena aren't you going to take that" I heard Alex say and I just ignored her before continuing to type away on my computer.
"Why are you ignoring Y/N's calls" I heard James say and I looked up to see him standing next to the desk I was working at in the DEO. "Helping supergirl is much more important" I said as I stopped typing. "Well then at least take a break and come have lunch with us" James said and I sighed before saying alright.
It was night time and I continued helping supergirl find this alien we've been trying to track down. "Lena" I heard Kara's voice and I turned around to see her standing there with her arms folded. "Go home to your girlfriend you've helped enough" she said and I just looked at her and she pulled me up out of the chair before pushing me towards the steps. "But what about the Alien" I said and she huffed. "Lena it'll be here tomorrow just go home and rest and especially to see your girlfriend she's probably missing you like hell right about now" she said and I sighed before saying alright.
I arrived home at around 10pm and I saw no lights on meaning Y/N had probably gone to sleep. I got out of the car and shut the door behind me before walking up to the mansion. I walked up the steps and was about to put the key in but I twisted the doorknob and it was unlocked which was weird. "Y/N darling are you home" I said as I walked into the house shutting the door behind me and locking it. I set my things down by the door before pulling my gun out. "Y/N" I said again but there was no answer.
I walked around the mansion in the dark and didn't find Y/N anywhere until I came across our bedroom. As I grabbed the door handle I smelt smoke so I threw the door open to see Y/N crying in the corner. The wood around her was burnt, so I pocketed my gun before rushing over and kneeling down in front of her. As I reached towards her she snapped her head up and I saw her eyes glowing red as tears fell down her face. "Y/N dear can you hear me" I said reaching towards her and pulling her into a hug even though her skin was burning up.
I sat down on the ground pulling her into my lap as she started to calm down. After a while I felt her pull away. I looked up before grabbing her face. "Are you alright" I said and she just stayed quiet.
Y/N's Pov:
I looked down at Lena from where I was sitting on her lap. "Why have you been ignoring me do you hate me" I said and I watched as her eyes widened in shock before sadness. "I'm sorry darling it wasn't tensional it's just been really stressful with trying to help supergirl track down this alien" she said and I grabbed hold of her wrists before leaning in nuzzling one of her hands. "You could have told me I could have helped you relax" I whispered out resting my forehead against hers. She sighed before removing her wrists from my hands. She wrapped her arms around me before pulling me even closer to her. "I know I just didn't have the guts to tell you how I was feeling it's really hard for me" she whispered out and I cupped her face before pecking her on the lips. "It's alright I forgive you but please next time tell me" I said and she opened her eyes before smiling. I saw a hint of mischief flash through her eyes and I pulled away just a little as I raised my eyebrow. Before I could say anything she said something that shocked me. "Marry me my love " she said and my eyes widened in shock. "W-what" I stuttered out and she helped me up before telling me to wait right here before darting out of the room leaving me dumbfounded.
She came back a couple minutes later with a small black box in her hand. She walked over and grabbed my hands before kneeling down on one knee. "I was waiting for the right time to do this but I think this is a better time to do it" she said and I felt tears already falling down my face. "I really didn't prepare a whole speech for this but, the first time I met you I immediately fell in love watching you read books to the little kids in the library that day. I instantly knew you were the one and when you caught me staring at you you came over and talked to me, god it made me fall deeper in love even though we had just met" she said while looking up at me smiling. "All those romantic dates we went on were the best times of my life and when you moved into the mansion just so we didn't have to be apart I didn't know I could love you even more than I did before so Y/N" she said before releasing my hands and opening the box up to reveal a beautiful emerald green engagement ring. "Will you do me the honors of making me the happiest woman in the world and marry me " she said and I choked back a sob as I nodded my head.
Tumblr media
She stood up and I held my hand out for her to put the ring on my ring finger. After she did she wrapped one arm around me and pulled me flush against her while her other hand grabbed my jaw and pulled me into a passionate kiss. I immediately kissed her back as I wrapped my arms around her waist holding her tightly. We pulled away for air and she rested her forehead against mine. "I love you so much my dear girl" she muttered out and I pulled her into another kiss. "I love you too" I whispered out before burying my head into her neck.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this one and as always, let me know what you think! Love ya beautiful people!
Lena Luthor x Alien!R//Word Count: 2,204 -------------------------------------------------------
When she was younger, Lena Luthor used to look at the night sky with infinite awe. The map of stars that hung above the Earth had been the place where she could find solace and a sense of peace. The stars were never alone, always needing one another to form their constellations. They reminded her she was also not alone even if it seemed like it.
However, as she grew up most of that wonder translated into scientific interest, which started to diminish as she found herself enthralled by more practical sciences. The sky, as vast as it was, was a mystery she recognized she couldn't unravel in her lifetime. She needed to focus on more earthly things, but she was content to be another curious viewer of such canvas of light.
Being a curious viewer, however, was something that changed abruptly when the existence of extraterrestrial life was proven by no other than Superman. Even more when it was known the Earth had been a refuge for many more aliens than it was possible to believe. The stars had reached the Earth, and they came bearing their own cosmic forms of life.
The population had been divided between those that accepted and welcomed the space travelers and those that rejected the idea, defending their right to their land and planet, fearful of an unstoppable invasion, living with the enemy and whatnot. For a while, Lena found the latter to be a matter of great concern. She wanted people to feel safe and believed they had the right to know who among them was or not an alien.
It wasn't until Kara came to knock that idea off, presenting her with an alternative story and reminding her that those aliens too had a right to their own freedom. She opened her eyes to the reality most of them lived. They were mmigrants of desolated planets, seeking shelter from wars and just like Superman, seeking a new home after their planets had been shattered. There were a few bad seeds, yes, but most of them were only looking for a better life. Wasn't that enough to give them a vote of confidence?
Her alien detection device was then transformed into an image inducer, a new gadget that helped aliens conceal their true appearance if they wished to look physically human. It was great to blend with the crowd, and it was a great success in the alien market.
"Miss Luthor, Kara Danvers is waiting for you in the conference room." Jess told her one day as she arrived to the office.
"Kara?" She found herself surprised by the sudden visit of the journalist. "Does she want another interview?"
"No, she has come along with someone else. She said she only needed a few minutes with you."
"Alright." Lena said leaving her purse on her desk and taking a couple of files from Jess to revise them later. "Let's see what it is."
Lena Luthor entered her conference room to find two figures chatting amicably at the room table. One she could recognize immediately, with her golden locks and bright smile, the other she had no idea who it was but as soon as your eyes were on her she was curious to find out.
"Lena!" Kara said rising from her chair, with you following suit. "Thank you for meeting us in such short notice. We promise not to take too much of your time."
"Kara, of course. How can I help?"
"Well, actually, I would like to introduce you to (Y/N) (Y/L/N)." At the mention of your name, you stepped forward, extending your hand to Lena. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Luthor."
"Lena, please." She said taking your hand.
"Then, please, call me (Y/N)." You said with a firm grip and a kind smile, something rare for Lena to see during those days.
"(Y/N) is the leader of an alien race residing in National City." Kara continued with a proud stance.
"Is that so?" Lena replied with a raised eyebrow and the hint of a smirk on her lips. "Is (Y/N) your real name?"
Lena's words prompted a chuckle from you, and you decided to clarify before there were any misunderstandings.
"It's my chosen Earth name. I don't think you have enough tongues to be able to pronounce the real one." You said with a playful smile. "Also, I wouldn't go that far. I am what you would call a representative, and it is of a small group only. Miss Danvers here is just too kind."
"She is, indeed." Her smile only grew bigger as she saw Kara fail to conceal a little pout.
"Well, you're still a great representative." Kara said.
"But to what do I own the honor of you visit?" Lena said gesturing to you to take your seats again. Kara smiled at you and moved along with you towards your seats.
"Right." You said pulling a small box from your jacket. "I'm here to deliver this."
Lena took the little box from your extended palm, her curiosity growing as she inspected its contents. Inside she found a little black matte icosahedron, nothing extraordinary by the looks of it.
"What is this?" She finally asked.
"The alien community wanted to thank you for creating the image inducer. It has helped a lot of people, especially those of us that don't exactly fit into the human shape." You started to explain as she inspected it.
After the launch of her device, Lena recalled, the company had received countless letters and e-mails, most of them in gratitude for helping the aliens in National City as they were still fighting for acceptance within the human population. It helped them find jobs, housing and places to be without having to worry about their looks or if other people reacted negatively to them. It helped them feel safe.
Only then Lena understood the impact it had on other's peoples lives and how her work had helped them accomplish that.
"So this is a thank you gift." You moved your hand and placed a finger on one side of the icosahedron.
Lena was startled as the other sides of the new device in her hand started to open. Suddenly the room was filled with a clear colorful light, but it was more than that. It was lines and spheres and points and spirals well defined. It took her a moment to realize what it was but Lena found herself looking around the conference room with a fascination she thought she had long lost. As the conversation followed, you explained Lena the device in her hand was a space chart. It contained information about several planetary systems, their galaxies and stars, and common routes to reach them, you said as if it was nothing but a travel guide.
Lena turned her eyes towards you a few seconds later, ready to declare her own gratitude when she noticed your expression. You were staring at a far corner of the room, not with the usual distant look of a daydreamer or that of someone who has lost interest in the present moment. You were looking with intention and, more than that, with longing in your eyes.
"It's wonderful. Thank you." Lena finally said, pulling you out of your thoughts. You blinked a few times before the smile returned to your face.
"If you ever wish to know a bit more about what's out there, you can always consult it and if you need help navigating it, I'll be more than happy to help."
Lena thought about it for a moment more. While she had long ago left her intentions of unraveling the skies, she saw a chance within those stars. This was the opportunity she had been hoping to find in National City. If she could gain the trust of the alien community, she would be able to expand her work and better help not only them but the whole city. To help put the world back together instead of tearing it apart. She was more grateful then to you, for giving her that chance.
Besides, she thought, it was also a chance to fulfill her curiosity about you.
It wasn't long after that meeting that you were back at her office, teaching her how to use the space chart. Her attention bouncing from the lines of stars and planets to understanding the technology behind the device. While her studies on science and astronomy made it easy for her to identify the structure and functioning of the chart, and the several celestial bodies it showed, she still had to learn how to translate that into terms she knew and relearn the names people used to refer to their own planets and stars. You did your best trying to explain how both things worked, which she highly appreciated.
As days passed, Lena took a new liking to your teachings which turned into more personal reunions. You didn't limit yourself to talking just about stars or planets but about the different cultures that inhabited them. Mentions of your home planet became more regular and you even used it to contrast the big differences between Earth and the rest of worlds you had known. Lena was delighted to indulge in such conversations, taking in as much as it was possible.
The way you talked about your home planet, your country, if such concept even applied, your family, your house, everything, was enough for her to look at you with the same awe she used to look at the stars when she was younger. She knew she wouldn't get to know all the stars in the universe but just knowing you, she thought, made up for it all.
"The sunsets there were hours of golden light washing over the citadel, and the nights were, oh, the night was too beautiful with its waves of light across the sky." You told her one day as you both had finished one of your reunions.
You were leaning against Lena's balcony, both of you observing the sun go down behind the city skyline.
"You know, I don't think you have ever showed me where you're from." Lena said, crossing her arms and taking a step towards you, seizing the opportunity. You had showed Lena at least dozens of planets, especially those closest to Earth's solar system but yours, for everything you talked about it, somehow still remained a mystery.
Lena felt a slight pang in her chest as she saw the smile in your face turn sad.
"No, I suppose I haven't." You said and after a moment, where you seemed to ponder a few options, you moved your head, signaling Lena to follow you back inside her office.
You took the space chart from her desk, activating it and moving your hands again until the hologram in the room moved, showing a single planet in the center of the room. You took a few steps back and gestured to Lena to take a closer to look at it.
"Here it is."
The planet, surrounded by seven moons, was a very Jupiter look-a-like. Lena was instantly enthralled by the colors and the stripes, swirls and waves that formed the planet's atmosphere. The hologram displayed a name in a language Lena certainly didn't know and that made her wonder just how many tongues she would need to pronounce it correctly.
"It's beautiful." Lena said, still looking at it.
"It was." You replied, and she turned to look at you with a confused frown and a question clear in her face.
You moved the chart once more, reducing the image to show the whole system your planet used to be a part of.
Lena saw other nine planets but only one caught her attention as its name was being displayed in an alphabet she actually recognized.
"Krypton." She whispered, eyes widening in shock.
Everyone already knew the story. How the almighty Kryptonians had traveled to Earth when their own planet had been destroyed. But no one, including her, had thought too much about what it had meant for the rest of their own little universe. Lena imagined it then, an explosion setting a chain reaction. Not only one but several worlds shattered, with their people trying to escape the path of destruction.
Lena's eyes landed on you once more, finally understanding the longing she had once seen in your own eyes. She also knew, in some way, what it was to lose your home. So she approached you, slowly taking your hand and muttering an apology, for whatever little comfort it could give you.
"It's alright." You said looking intently at her with a reassuring smile. "I found a new home."
"And I'm glad you found it here."
You made her feel at home, Lena thought and, as she smiled back at you, she thanked the stars for giving you both the chance to find a home along each other, and hopefully, one day, a home for you both.

Let me know if you guys want an epilouge (I have a strong feeling you will). As always reader is gender neutral so everyone can enjoy!
TW // Blood, death
Summary: Reader knew the day they were going to die since they were young. They told themself that they would not be involved with someone when the date comes. Well, that's what they wanted to do until Lena came into Reader’s life.
Lena Luthor x Alien!Reader
Word Count: 4,183 (This one definitetly got away from me)
May 21st, 2019. That was the day you were going to die. You have known this since you were 10 years old. You found out after you pissed off a witch you met while playing in the woods. You never told anyone about this information. At first, you didn’t believe the witch thinking that she told you a random date just to scare you and you let her know that. When you told her that she decided to show you that she wasn’t lying by predicting several things that would happen throughout your life. She predicated your first girlfriend at age 14, the death of your parents at age 16 and even what college you would get accepted in. Every time one of her predictions came true you became more freaked out. After your first girlfriend, you tried everything you could to make sure that the witch’s last prediction didn’t come true. However, after you received a full-ride scholarship offer from that exact college, you practically had a mental breakdown.
---
August 21st, 2018
You are currently on your way to LCorp to meet up with Lena so you guys can go out for lunch. You two have been having lunch together every Wednesday for almost a year. You almost canceled today because it was the 21st, meaning that you only had 9 months left. You have accepted knowing the date a long time ago. You were perfectly content with your life and had made peace with it. That was until Lena came into your life over a year ago. Lena made you feel things you never felt before. Lena made you feel alive and happy to see another day. You fully intended on breaking things off with Lena in the beginning of the year. But, the more time you spent with her the more you fell in love. When the day you finally built up the courage to end things was the same day Lena confessed her feelings and you just couldn’t bring yourself to do it. So, now you guys have been dating for almost a year and she makes you the happiest person in the world. Which in turn makes you slowly freak out about your quickly approaching death because you would do anything to not leave this wonderful woman.
----
December 25, 2018
“(Y/N), are you listening?” Lena questioned. You turn to look at Lena as she was currently driving back to her place from Kara’s. Lena and you have spent Christmas with the superfriends and Eliza, considering how you two don’t exactly have any family. Lena is looking at you expectedly with a raise in her eyebrow that clearly means ‘So, are you going to answer or not?’
“No, I’m sorry, babe. I zoned out what were you saying?” You apologized. You knew better to lie to the raven-haired girl next to you. She sighed exhaustly as she turned right and you gave her a confused look because this wasn’t the way to get to her apartment.
“Where are we going?” You asked.
“I’m dropping you off at your apartment.” Lena replied while keeping her eyes on the road.
“What? Why? I thought we agreed to spend Christmas together. I still haven’t given you your gift.” You questioned becoming more confused. You can tell Lena was mad, but you didn’t know for what reason. Yeah, sure, you zoned out while she was talking, but it’s not like you did it on purpose.
“Because, (Y/N), you obviously have more important things to attend to. I mean for the last month you have been acting strange. Canceling dates, ignoring my texts and calls, hell, you never zoned me out in the last 2 years we have known each other than you have the last month! I have tried to be patient with you and let you tell me what was wrong on your own terms. But, the more I wait the more distant you are becoming. So, I’m going to take you home since you clearly don’t want to be bothered with me.” Lena replied coldly and you just sat there staring at her with your mouth opened. You must admit you were acting distant towards Lena, but that had nothing to do with her and more to do with the fact that you have been spending almost all your free time at the DEO.
Last month, you told Brainy and Alex about your death date. You told them about how you didn’t believe it at first, but then all the witch’s predictions started to come true. You told them how you were accepting of it until you met Lena and now all you want in life is to survive that day because you weren’t ready to let Lena go. So, you guys have been trying to find ways you can avoid your impending death. You guys have tried finding the witch to just discover that she died 2 years ago. Brainy tried to look at the Legion’s database and found nothing. Everyone found it strange that they couldn't find anything about you. It seemed like after May 21st, 2019 any trace of you disappeared.
“Lena, it’s not like that, I promise. I do have a lot on my plate right now but it has nothing to do with you and I’m sorry for taking it out on you. I would like to make it up to you. So, when you drop me off I would hope that you come in too.” You apologized. Honestly you don’t know why you didn’t just come out and tell her the truth. You know that if Lena knew then she would do everything in her power to help. Hell, you knew that she might come up with a solution. But, what if she doesn’t then what? Keeping you alive would be Lena’s main goal. She would become obsessed with it. It would consume her whole existence; and when you finally do meet your demise, then Lena would blame herself. Thinking about how you died because she didn’t do enough or she wasn’t smart enough. No, you couldn’t put her through that. However, you know Lena enough to know that after you die and she finds out from Alex or Brainy that you knew this was coming and you said nothing, she would be upset.
So, the next day after Lena's reluctant departure, you sat down and started on your parting gift for Lena.

May 20th, 2019
Today’s your last day. Today is your full day with Lena. You begged Lena months ago to take today off. You didn’t tell her why anyways she asked every time you begged, but you just kept telling her that you just want a day for just the two of you. So, now it is currently 5pm and you two are laying in Lena’s bed, exhausted from the day’s events. You made sure that Lena had a great time. You had Kara take you two to Rome and you spent the day wandering around and visiting all the tourist places and eating at the tourist restaurants. You knew Lena always wanted to go somewhere and be treated like a normal person and that’s how she was treated today. You looked over to Lena and found she was already staring at you with the look that she always gives you. The look with so much love and admiration like you’re the reason why the sun rises every morning. Usually this look would fill your heart with so much happiness that it feels like it would burst. However, today wasn’t the case. This time it made you burst into tears.
“Darling, what’s wrong?” Lena exclaims worryingly. She doesn't know why you are crying. You two had a fabulous day together. You went all out for her today and Lena fell even more in love today, even though she didn’t know that was possible. Now, you two were in her apartment enjoying the rest of the day and one look from her made you cry.
“It’s nothing babe. I’m just thinking about how beautiful you are and I’m happy that I can spend my life with you. I love you so much.” You confessed through the tears. It’s too late to tell her what the day truly meant for you. How does one tell the love of their life that this was their last day together?

May 21st, 2019 8:15am
You woke up to a weight on your chest. You look down to find a pool of black hair spilled on your chest. You rarely get to wake up before Lena considering she likes to be up by the crack of dawn. However, when you do wake up before her, you tend to cherish the moment. You look down in awe. You spend the next couple of minutes outlining the lines on her face. You take note that Lena's mouth is slightly parted when she sleeps or how her skin tends to glow in the morning light. You even note the small puddle of drool that has collected on your chest below Lena’s mouth. Seeing that made you chuckle. You know that if you told Lena that she was drooling in her sleep again that she would adamantly deny that she drools and that the water on your chest obviously came from sweating.
Unfortunately, not everything can last forever because you remembered what today’s day was. You remembered that it was the 21st of May. The day that would surely be your last on this Earth. Your last with the love of her life. Upon this realization, suddenly looking at Lena’s sleeping form didn’t bring happiness and love to you. Instead, all that welcomed you was desperation and heartbreak. You tried your hardest to figure out how to avoid this, but it seemed that every solution you, Brainy, and Alex came up with had a flaw in it. It seemed that it was impossible to escape fate.
So, now you wonder what would happen to this sleeping form on you. Would she let today destroy her? Or would she come out on top stronger than ever? Would she be mad at you? Would she be mad at herself for not realizing sooner that something was off? Would she fall in love again? Jeez, you really do hope Lena could find love again in the future. You wanted her to be happy. You wanted her to move on and live her best life. To date, love, marry, and have a family. You wanted her to do everything you two talked about. It breaks your heart that it won’t be with you, but at least she would have those things.
“So, were you going to silently stare at me while I was sleeping or were you going to wake me up at some point, darling?” Lena groggily asked me while rubbing her eyes. You smile at her, forcing out the thoughts in your head, and replied back, “Depends. Were you going to stop drooling on me?” Lena paused her stretching and glared at you.
“I would like you to know that CEOs of multi-billion dollar companies do NOT drool in their sleep.” She strakly said back.
“Well, there must have been a drop in LCorp stocks because you definitely do.” You shot back and laughed. Lena hit you on the shoulder which made you laugh harder.
“I don’t know why I put up with you.” She mumbled under her breath before she shot you one last glare before she got up and made her way to the bathroom.
“Maybe because you love me.”
“Yeah that gotta be the reason why.” Was the last thing you heard before Lena closed the bathroom door behind her. Yeah she’ll be okay after today. She has to be.

May 21st, 2019 11:30am
You and Lena have been lounging around her apartment all morning. You two are currently watching Lena’s favorite movie, Moana. You weren’t really paying attention, only singing the songs with Lena when they came on. You were too busy texting Alex. Alex is persistent on sending DEO agents or Kara over to protect you for the day. You refused because if she did that then Lena would obviously have questions and you would break down and tell her the truth. That would ultimately cause your last day together to be filled with tension. You didn’t want that. You wanted Lena to remember the last moments you spent together to be good ones.
You have decided to not let Alex’s worrying take up anymore of your time. So, you sat your phone on the table and finally sat back and gave your full attention to the tv to enjoy the movie.
However, enjoyment didn’t last long because suddenly the tv went black cutting the movie short. When the tv cut back on it wasn’t the movie that greeted you and Lena. No, it was a man and woman with caramel skin. They had white hair, the man’s hair was short and carefully styled while the woman’s was braided into an intricate design. They also had pointed ears and blue dots painted on their skin in a pattern. They wore what looked like Victorian styled royal clothing. You stare at the pair on tv and the feeling of dread and familiarity was all that met you. You felt like the pair looked familiar, but you didn’t know from where.
Your pondering was cut short when the pair finally spoke.
“Greetings to the inhibats of National City. We are the King and Queen of Azltan and we have come looking for one of our kind that has been hiding among you. If you know of the one named, (Y/N) of the (L/N), please bring her to us at the tallest building. We will give you till the yellow sun meets the ground, then we will deploy our soldiers to find her, and they will find her within any means necessary. We hope you do cooperate with us and let this interaction between our species be as peaceful as possible.” The Queen spoke.
You listened to the TV frozen in place, unaware of the world around you. You didn’t notice that Lena has gotten up and is now calling your name over and over. You didn’t notice Kara entering your apartment as Supergirl and had started formulating a plan with Lena. You didn’t even notice that Kara had picked you up and taken you and Lena to the DEO. You didn’t notice any of this. You were completely shocked at how today was unraveling.
You didn’t snap out of your state of shock until your head snapped to the side and your cheek was suddenly hurting. You blinked a couple times and bought your head back up. You were met with Lena standing in front of you, breathing heavily with tears in her eyes. It then registered to you that she had slapped you.
“Did you just slap me!?” You exclaim bewildering.
“Yes I did! Everyone has been trying to get your attention for the last hour and have been completely ignored! We are trying to come up with a plan to keep you safe but it’s hard to do so when the person we are trying to protect is ignoring everyone!” Lena yelled back, blinking back tears.
“Well, I’m sorry, Lena if I’m not exactly presented right now. I did just find out that an alien race that I never even heard of has come to National City looking for me. Then, on top of that, they claim I’m one of them!” You shouted while standing up so fast that the chair you were sitting on hit the floor. You were in Lena’s face, breathing wildly and looking into her eyes. How dare Lena put this on you? This wasn’t your fault. It just wasn’t seemingly possible to save you. Today was the when and the how finally showed itself.
You were ready to tell Lena off some more until you saw something in Lena’s eyes that you never seen directed towards you; fear. You step back and look behind Lena to all your friends and see the same look in their eyes. You sigh, close your eyes, and pinch the bridge of your nose.
“Look, Lena. I’m sorry. That wasn’t fair of me to take that out on you. None of this is your fault. But, I don’t want to put all of National CIty in risk because you guys want to hide me away. I suggest we invite the Queen and King to the DEO and see what they want with me.” You suggest suddenly feeling a strong urge to meet them.
All your friends protested this idea. Saying how bad of an idea that was because they knew nothing of these people.
“Which is why we invite them to the DEO. This is one of the safest places I can be in National City. There are armoured guards everywhere, Supergirl, and Lena’s wrath.” You joked hoping to lighten the mood.
“National City and I would be safe. Maybe, we can convince them to leave Earth in peace because this has to be a misunderstanding.” You say hoping that you can convince your friends to go along with your plan.
After about two minutes of silence, everyone eventually agreed that this was the best course of action in keeping you and National City safe.

May 21st, 2019 2:00pm
Brainy sent a message an hour ago to the Queen and King’s ship, telling them to come to the DEO to meet with you. As time passed by you felt increasingly eagered and scared of what was to come. Lena hasn’t left your side since your little outburst. You, of course, felt bad for yelling at her, but you just suddenly felt a strong desire to defend yourself against her claims. Sure, you understood Lena’s perspective. You knew that under her collected demeanor that Lena was stressing out about your wellbeing and the intention of these otherworldly visitors. Your guilt increased greatly when you remembered that Lena has no idea how this day was going to end for you. You put your arm around her and pull her into a tight hug.
“Hey, listen to me. Everything is going to be okay. You will be okay, stop worrying so much.” You whisper against the top of Lena’s head. You hoped that Lena didn’t catch on to the fact that you said that she was going to be okay and not that you two would be okay. You need her to look back at this moment and remember these words of affirmation.
Lena hugs you back and opens her mouth to say something, but she was interrupted by a huge beam of light touching down in front of the huge opening that Supergirl usually uses as an entrance. When the beam of light dissipated, it revealed five figures. Three of the five you don’t recognize, but by their demeanor you can tell they had to be some type of guards. Behind the three figures you saw the same two people that you saw on your TV just a few hours before.
When you met eyes with the Queen’s identical ones, you were overcome by familiarity and something else. You didn’t know why, but for some reason you felt the need to close the distance between you and the King and Queen. So, you took a step forward. However, when you did two very distinct things happened at the same time. The first thing was that the Queen also stepped forward. The second thing was that Kara was in front of you and every DEO agent in the room had their weapons pointing at the five aliens. Which in turn made the three guards in front of the King and Queen jump into a defensive stance.
The room stayed like this for a tense minute before the King cleared his throat. “Hello, My name is Stul of the Van Kol and this is my wife, Luzu of the Van Kol. We are the Queen and King of Azltan. We are not here to cause any harm, so it would be very appreciated if everyone would lower their weapons.” The King said with booming authority in his voice.
The DEO agents look around nervously unsure what to do. Nobody lowered their weapon until Alex gave the signal to.
Anyways the weapons were lowered, the tension stayed.“You say that you guys aren’t here to cause any harm, yet, you went on TV to tell the whole city that we must give up one person by the end of the day if we didn’t want to be invaded.” Lena speaks up in her CEO voice. You knew that Lena didn’t buy a single word the King said and she had a great point not to. However, something told you that the King was telling the truth.
The King lets out a hearty laugh and says, “You have a great argument there, Miss. For that we are sorry, however, it was quite urgent that we found (Y/N) as soon as possible. Their safety heavily relied on it.”
The last sentence sparked everyone's interest. “My safety?” You question. You step out from behind Kara since you didn’t believe you needed to be protected from the aliens in front of you.
“What does us meeting have to do with my safety?” You ask again. Obviously they knew something you didn’t and frankly you are getting fed up with today.
“I believe it would be better if we discussed this somewhere with” The King stops talking and looks around the room before continuing, “less people.” He finishes with a strained smile. You can tell that he is trying to keep the peace, but he really isn’t happy with the predicament he is in.
“No. We will have this discussion right here, right now.” You state sternly.
“Please, my child. It is really not safe for us to talk in the open.” The Queen pleads softly.
“What do you mean, your child? You two are not my parents. My parents passed away years ago, and I’m not moving from this spot. You either hurry up and tell me why I’m in danger or you guys can leave and not come back.” You are getting increasingly frustrated as the minutes ticked by. This conversation wasn’t doing anything but giving you more questions than answers.
You look between the King and Queen and notice how nervous they seem to be getting. The Queen is wringing her hands and looking around anxiously, while the King is developing a noticeable film of sweat on his forehead.
“How am I in dang-” You slowly enunciate every word. However, before you can finish your sentence, you feel a very intense pain and next thing you know you were on the ground.
Lena got to you first. At least you think she did. You don’t really know because all you can focus on is the boiling, hot pain that was radiating from your stomach. Your hands reached for where the pain was coming from. When you reached the area it was wet. Everywhere you touched was wet. Filled with confusion you bought your hands up to look at them. Your hands were completely red. That’s when you realized that you were bleeding a lot.
Lena grabs your shaky hands, “Hey. Hey, (Y/N), you've been shot, but you’re going to be okay. Okay? Just stay with us and you’ll be okay. Alex is about to apply pressure to your wound, okay?” Lena says with a shaky voice, tears unshed. You both knew that you were not going to be okay, but you nod your head anyways.
The moment Alex pressed her hands against the place where the bullet had entered you let out a blood curdling scream.
“It’s okay, (Y/N). You’re doing great, just hang in there.” Alex coos softly. You can hear a twinge of dread in her voice. She knew that this was the moment that you guys have tried so hard to avoid. You also knew that anyways you were certain that there was one way this could end that Alex would try to save you until your last breath.
Everything was starting to get more fuzzy. The pain was fading into nothingness and you felt a heaviness settle behind your eyelids. You look up at Lena for the last time. You wanted to remember everything about Lena. You wanted to remember how green her eyes are or how her nose crinkle when you tell a really bad joke or how anyways she’s not afraid of any man, yet, she still begs you to kill the bugs in the apartment. You wanted to remember everything about this goddess above you.
You put one of your hands up to her cheek, vaguely remembering there is blood on them. You use the last of your strength to smile up at her and say, “You are going to be okay, Lena. Just know that I love you.”

Dating Lena Luthor and being a Superhero/Alien would include...
Tumblr media
a/n: hey guys second post hope y’all like it, make sure to send in any requests/prompts before requests closes tomorrow  - emily :)))
working @ L Corp
being supppppeerrrrr cautious/nervous around Lena at first
like she seriously had every hair on your neck standing up with every slight movement she made
especially when she questioned you about being late for meetings or pointed out one time you put your skirt on backwards after having to rush into work really fast after stopping a burglary
you literally almost died on the spot and Lena swore she thought she had broken you  because all you could do was stutter and wave your hands trying to distract from the fact you didn’t exactly know how to answer
but after you two got closer and she confided in you about her how crazy she thought her family was and how afraid she was to turn out like them
you guys would always meet for lunch and discuss how each other’s days had gone so far since you had worked on separate aspects of the company
she would totally explain all the public relations and politics going on with the business and you would be the GIANT science geek behind most of the innovations produced by l corp everybody would think that you were the best gal pal faces of L Corp, and you were the one who helped developed some of the alien identifying tech, it was the perfect cover for you no one would suspect you of being an alien superhero
except Lena would (duh!!!)
after you had tried to hide it for so long she would definitely figure it out on her own and then threaten not to talk to you forever
BUT THEN you, the romantic sap you would be when it comes to Lena, would confess your love to her and obviously she returns the feelings
you two are voted Cutest Couple ™ in the L Corp magazine that’s published every December
jkjk but you guys do get a feature and a special article written about the disgustingly adorable relationship
i have no doubt that any time Lena would have to leave for a business trip lasting longer than a day she would send you flowers every day she was gone to remind you she was thinking of you
in the middle of Lena trying to propose to you, you get a call from the DEO saying that they need you and that if you don’t come immediately then everyone in National city could possibly die
“forget this, forget me. They need you more than I do right now y/n, I wouldn’t forgive myself if anyone died because I made you stay”
poor puppy Lena would go to your shared apartment and cry herself to sleep
but again the sappy romantic in you would prevail so you would take her to the place you first met, a random wooden bench outside L Corp with both of your initials carved into it, and propose to her there in order to make up for having to leave her the other night
you would adopt a school bus full of children, i would fight anyone who disagrees
after the small wedding with the most amazing women you had ever met, of course
you would keep kicking ass and taking names together as crime fighting super wives (because obviously after you were married since you were now partners in life why couldn’t she also be your silent partner in fighting crime aka she financed you and made donations to the DEO)  and both of you were loving every second of it

White lilies and a kiss
Pairing: Lena Luthor x Assistant!reader
Word count: 1747
Warnings: a bit of swearing
Genre: angst with kinda happy ending
A/N: it's my first fanfic posted here so sorry for any errors
°☆._____________________________________.☆°
Lena's eyes looked through the window in her office, talking to some business partner on the phone while you sat patiently in a chair waiting for her to end the conversation.
"Yes Mr. Lord, I'll ask my assistant, they can take care of it. Mhm, thank you for your cooperation, we will be in touch if something happens."
Your boss turned around giving you a cold look that never failed to give you goosebumps. You sat straight and waited for the new orders.
"L/N, I have a task for you. Me and Maxwell Lord are working on a project that I will give you it's plans later. It's really important for both me and Lord so do your job and check if my lab is properly equipped"
"Yes Miss Luthor, but we have a problem with delivery of equipment and supplies that you asked to be here by today."
You felt yourself getting more nervous as another deadly stare was thrown your way. Lena was a very strict boss that hated disappointments but still was kind to those who did their job well. She was kind to you too, both of you could be called friends. Until a half year ago. You worked for Lena for almost a year but the last six months were hell. She became cold towards you and dropped the hardest tasks on you. You were bearing with it but today your boss was more hostile towards you than usually.
"Go on."
"While delivery was on it's way here, there was an attack on the trucks by some aliens that propably work for Lex. Quantum energy generator and some of the alien technology that you asked for got damaged. We can fix the generator but I'm not so sure about alien technology."
Oh it's bad. It's really, really bad. You thought to yourself. Lena's face dropped and she put a hand on her forehead. Her muscles tensed under her shirt and you couldn't help but stare. It was a really bad time to have a crush on your boss. Even angry and distant, she is still beautiful. But Lena hurt you every time she yelled at you for the stupidest things. Yesterday she was mad at you for wearing a shirt that was not suitable for work because it had "too big cleavage", even though it hadn't. Now Lena was focused on your body, looking at you with an unknown expression. This wasn't going to end well.
"I told you to take care of this delivery! Can't you just do your job well! Go call the mechanics to fix the quantum generator and tell them to be careful"
This sentence made you snap. You couldn't maintain your emotions inside you.
You were so close to make your sadness and pain caused by Lena go away, just by quitting your job.
"I do my job the best that I can, don't you understand that? You, Miss Luthor, are dropping the hardest tasks on me while you know I will be struggling with them!"
"Don't talk to me with that tone! I give you the tasks that you are perfectly capable of doing!"
"You really don't understand. You are so cold to me Lena! You yell at me at every damn occasion you have! I tried to stay with you for longer but I can't. We were friends. Friends. Now you act like you don't know me closer and I'm just your another employee. And fine, I will call the mechanics and make your lab properly equipped but this is the last time we see eachother Miss Luthor. I quit"
And you quit.
You stormed out of her office, quickly took your belongings and took care of the lab and delivery. To say that you were hurt by your choice was an understatement, but you couldn't do anything better for yourself, right? The way back to your apartment dragged on for forever but when you finally were under your door, you sighed in relief.
After you opened the door you quickly discarded your clothing and wore pajamas. You sat on the sofa and ate some leftovers. It was late evening but the argument with Lena tired you out. It was a matter of minutes before you found yourself sleeping on a sofa with tv playing in the background.
Next day you were woken up by the doorbell ringing. When you finally decided to move from the comfy spot on the sofa the doorbell fell silent. You opened the door regardless and found a big bouquet of your favourite white lilies with a small card inside.
I'm sorry Y/N. L
The handwritten letters on a card were so mesmerizing. Did your boss really tried to apologize to you?. The wet spot on the card suggested that she even cried. Was she really sorry? Or she was just trying to make herself feel better? Eitherway, you were shocked that she sent the flowers. It's not really professional like that, isn't it? And how did she know your favourite flowers? You did in fact tell her once or twice but you thought that she forgot about it long ago. You kept the card and threw flowers to the trash and went over with your day.
It was so quiet in your apartment. No calls from enraged Lena. No unread emails from people responsible for deliveries. No nothing. The rest of the day went by with you doing nothing and yet you were still tired. You went to sleep with Lena on your mind and her card in hand.
The next day was boring. Again. Everything was so quiet until another doorbell rang. Was it another flowers from her? Moving from the kitchen where you were standing, you opened your door and yet again there was another bouquet of white lilies. You took the flowers and looked for the card.
You found it. This time it was in a different place.
Im so sorry Y/N... L
Almost the same sentence. She really was trying to apologize. She tried to be the friend that she was half a year ago. Letters on the card are again mesmerizing. They are so... her. You didn't think much of it and threw the flowers into the trash and kept the card again.
Whole week was the same. Another flowers, another card. All bouquets landed in the trash except from the last one. The card from it smelled like Lena which made your heart warm.
I'm really sorry Y/N, can we meet? L
You sniffed Lena's perfume for the last time and looked at my phone. You wanted to hear her voice so much. Maybe you never showed it but you loved her. She hurt you with her behavior but yet you still couldn't let her go. You looked at the phone again and dialed her number. You fought with your thoughts while looking at the numbers. You called her.
"Y/N? Please can we meet? I know I fucked up royally for the last six months but I need to tell you something or I will loose my mind. Say something, please."
"And now you are trying to be the friend that you were months ago. You acted like I was just your employee what changed now?"
"I came to the conclusion that there is something that you have to know about. I can't keep it inside any longer. Please, can we meet? Just please."
"Alright it's Sunday so I guess you are free. 7 pm sharp at my place, I know you can find my address."
With that you hung up and started to prepare yourself. You dressed up casually so you won't be talking to her in pajamas and did some light make up. You had an hour before she would be here. The wait really showed how impatient you were. 5 minutes before Lena was going to come over the doorbell rang. You springed out of your seat and opened the door. And there she was. Lena in a beautiful black dress with her hair put up in a neat bun. It was a sight to see.
"Lena. Come in. I hope I will get some explanations."
You motioned with my hand to come in and she swiftly came past you. The smell of her perfumes intoxicated you, the sweet smell of flowers and fruits. She sat on the sofa waiting for you to join her. You moved to the living room and stood in front of her.
"I'm sorry that I was so mean and cold to you. I think you know I have a problem with talking about my emotions."
"Yes, I know about that but this doesn't justify your actions."
You looked at her, demanding another answer. She was focused on your body, love visible in her eyes. It shocked you, the look she was giving you made you warm, blush probably showing on your cheeks.
"I was so mad and harsh towards you because of my emotions. They were really unclear to me and I had to let out my anger in some way."
"So, making me feel like shit helped? And don't look at me this way, it makes me feel... weird."
"Okay, I won't look at you. And to answer your question, it made me feel worse."
You both exchanged looks. Awful silence filled the room while the both of you were eyeing each other.
"Then why did you keep doing that!"
Lena stood up from her place and started crying. See her cry hurt more than you imagined.
"Because I fucking love you! You always make me smile, you're beautiful and you have so much patience."
Your world shook at her words. She feels the same. The same you've felt since you started working for young Luthor. In a moment you stared at her face, her eyes, her nose and you stopped at what you wanted to kiss the most in the world. Lena saw the way you stared at her lips.
"Can I kiss you Y/N?"
A breathless yes fell from you and she finally kissed you. She tasted like whiskey and mints. Her plump lips felt heavenly against yours. You stopped kissing only when both of you were out of breath. Lena started to back away and silently go to the door. You caught her hand.
"I love you too, Lena."
You looked at her with heart eyes and she smiled. She kissed you once again for a goodbye. With that she left the apartment.

You were a shadow. Well, honestly, you don’t know what you are. You were born human, yet was abandoned due to your anomalies. You were born pitch black, it was like the shadows swallowed you whole and instead of crying, you came out of your mother’s womb laughing. Your ‘parents’ immediately dumped you somewhere deserted and after hours of crying, you were sucked in a vortex like circle where you spent the first years of your childhood.
That was until a certain, bald headed Luthor ripped through your pocket dimension. You were a teenager, basically a child, he abducted you without a word and experimented on you. They kept you in an all white room accompanied with blinding lights, keeping you from the shadows at all times.
They experimented on you, frustrated because you failed all their exams, you had nothing in your DNA that separates you from humans, nothing was wrong with you at all. That went on and on, until a containment breach happened and all lights shut off. You managed to rip whatever wires they attached to you and immediately blended in with the shadows, incapacitating every scientist and guard you come across.
You stopped in your tracks when you spotted the youngest Luthor crying, you knew her, somehow. The shadows told you about her, and now they were urging you to save her.
And so you did, you made sure she was safe before creating another pocket universe, leaving her behind with only memories of your glowing crimson red eyes.
Creating your own dimension sapped almost all your energy, so much that you had to remain unconscious until you were capable of opening your eyes. Unbeknownst to you, a whole lot has happened since you were asleep. And the minute you opened your eyes, your thoughts immediately drifted to Lena.
Having mastered your powers prior to your imprisonment  and it developed while you were in a coma like state, you started to branch out, looking for the dark-haired goddess that you were attached to. Only to find out she was... Well, married... To a blonde alien.
“The irony.” You laughed, making yourself breakfast in your pocket dimension.
The shadows told you that it has been 20 years since you escaped, since you slipped into a coma. And during that, the shadows took it upon themselves to protect you, creating a huge ass house inside the pocket dimension you made, using the TV they made, you were able to catch up and keep up with what’s going on outside your little world.
“Like I said, I’m not a reporter” The blonde alien says- ah, her  name was Kara. You were just used to calling her blonde alien.
“Could’ve fooled me” Lena grins, which made you smile. She has grown into a fine young woman.
You shoved a fry into your mouth, re-watching the first time the married couple met, laughing at each time they go into this shy, awkward atmosphere. They’re just too adorable.
You were currently watching one of your favorite scenes when the screen flashed red before switching into a different scene. You immediately sat up, your shoulders tense. It was a live stream. This was currently happening now. You were watching Kara Danvers-Luthor get thrown around like some ragdoll while Lena Danvers-Luthor gets hold at...spear-point? Honestly, what is with aliens and their plasma powered pointy sticks.
“I’m gonna have to help them aren’t I?’ You sighed, asking the shadows, watching them slowly form into a humanoid form.
“I’m afraid so, Your Highness. It’s still completely up to you. However, I think you already know what to do.” The humanoid shadow : who called themselves Kage told you, their facial expression mimicking that of a “smug human” as they call them.
“Fine, Fine.” You huffed, dragging your finger down, allowing you to open a gateway from your small world to the gruesome scene. The shadows enveloped you, allowing you to move swiftly, as long as you avoid overly bright places such as fires and streetlights.
With Kage running beside you, the shadows liquified, allowing your body to have a sort of, liquid protection layer. You created a puddle of dark sludge, jumping in it, trusting the shadows to clean your mess.
“Kage, make me a gateway to that spaceship above, and stay here. Catch Lena when she falls.” You ordered, swimming up the shadow sludge.
“Yes, Your Highness.” Kage answered
“And don’t call me your highness!” You screamed, finally reaching the gateway Kage opened for you.
You poked your head out to observe the ship, this isn't the mothership, it's likely only the first wave and the rest of the ships are heading this way at a much slower pace. You manipulated the shadows in the ship, trapping the aliens inside silently. You watched carefully as the alien beside Lena is shouting something, probably an order, when he noticed no one was responding, he turned around, only for your fist to come in contact with his face. A loud crack resounding in the ship, which was followed by a faint splat. The commander alien fell to his death.
“...That was not my fault.” You grinned at Lena, your expression turned soft as you found yourself in front of the dark-haired beauty.
“Hi.” You said timidly, before hardening up.
“Do you know how to fly an alien ship? Nevermind, I know you do.” You say, walking fast to the cockpit. These ships are strangely like an airplane.
“Wait. Hold on! Have we met before?” Lena rushes after you
“Maybe. Now, maneuver this ship to that giant thing there and save your wife.” I push her slightly
“But that'll cause destruction to the city as well!” She reasoned, and you smiled, knowing her wife was her priority but the city is what Kara swore to protect, and Lena took it upon herself to do so as well.
“Fine then. Down you go.” You say smirking, creating a sludge portal from beneath Lena's feet, knowing Kage would take care of her, hearing her surprised scream made you giggle lightly.
“And now to save the other half.” You jumped from the ship, free falling down and silently thanking they chose to attack at night.
Still using the armor you made earlier, just making it slightly bulkier, you came from behind the giant metal thing. Is this seriously an alien inside a giant robot? Is this race this insecure? Geez.
You managed to flip your body, feet first and used your momentum to successfully kick this metal thing's head clean off it's body, small sparks of blue electricity escaping from the cut wires. You knew that you'll get hurt once you land on the surface, half because that robot is so tall that the drop height is painful and you might end up with shattered legs and the other half was because there are DEO agents pointing their gun at you, including Alex Danvers herself.
So you decide to keep yourself safe by making the sludge portal right where you're about to fall, successfully avoiding the gunshots of the Agents. After falling right in, the portal immediately closes. You sighed, how the hell would you get the other Luthor with her sister keeping watch of her? Get under her and make her fall into the sludge, and also putting yourself into the DEO wanted list.
Well, it's worth it, if you see Lena smile while Kara limps to her, you'll probably slip into another coma from heart palpitations.
So you did exactly what you planned, opening a sludge right under Kara, making her fall down easily. But what you didn't expect is Alex rushing in and taking a hold of Kara's hand.
“Seriously?” You asked, exasperated, to which Alex just grunted
“Fine. You're coming with.” You say, feeling your power grow weaker by the second, too much light was being pointed at you.
And so you pulled Alex down as well, chuckling lightly when you see the sisters hold their breaths.
“It's not water, if that's what you're thinking. It's just shadows imitating water. You can breathe here, don't worry about it.” You assured them with a gentle smile, to which they shot you a glare which says: “We don't trust you.”
“Fine then. Hold your breath.” You sassed, taking a hold of their hands before teleporting to where Kage and Lena was, Your mansion.
Arriving at the mansion, the sisters stumbled, dizzy with the teleporting, you also raised your eyebrows at a calm Lena drinking wine with Kage.
“...I expected you to be a lot more panicked.” You say slowly, accepting the wine from Kage
“I was, until I remembered who you are.” She says, as she sips her wine.
Alex stared at Lena with a shocked look on her face before glancing to you and your...companion.
You were wearing a modern look that screamed intimidating, like you demanded respect as you gave them your respect as well. It irked Alex how normal you looked, besides the glowing red eyes, despite this situation being absolutely not normal. Your companion however, was dressed like a butler in the Victorian Era, their face void of facial features besides the bright white eyes and a sharp grin, showcasing a set of teeth that was bound to be nightmare material for kids and adults alike.
“Okay! What the hell is happening here?” Alex raises her voice, breathing heavily.
“Let's tend to Kara's wounds first.” You offered your hand to Kara, to which she hesitantly accepted, you hovered your hand to hers, watching silently as the shadows healed her, seemingly eating away her wounds. You looked up to her, and she had this adorable look of fascination.
“It's not really as magical as you think. The shadows on your body just speed the time up. For example-” You pointed to a rather large gash of wound on her collarbone, watching as the shadows covered her wound and then return back to your hand when it's time. “-they just speed up the time on the affected part, so that your recovery is instantaneous.”
“Cool.” Kara says giddily, turning back to Alex who still had a weary look on her face.
“Relax. I've been existing since uhh... I actually don't know. A long time. If I wanted to kill or harm even a single human, I would have done so by now.” You said to Alex, offering her a glass of whiskey
“No thanks.” She declined
“Right. You don't trust me.” You pouted, which made Alex take a step back. You just defeated a creature that even Supergirl can't defeat in one strike and now you're in front of her pouting.
“...No, I'm still on duty.” She says in her best director voice.
“Right, Director Danvers.” you nodded, plopping the glass on the bar table, turning to the married couple who were fussing over each other.
“You guys can stay for dinner if you want to.” you hummed, wearing your apron and walking to the kitchen.
“Y/N.” Lena called out before you went in.
“Yeah?” You looked over your shoulder, surprise written all over your face. She remembers you?
“Thank you. For saving me. Twice.” She says, with a slight smile.
“No problemo.” You smiled sweetly before heading to the kitchen.
“Ms. Y/LN makes the best meals. Please do try to stay for dinner. She hasn't had anyone over for at least 20 years.” Kage explains, leading the trio to the dining room.
“How so?” Lena asks, seemingly the only one interested, Kara was busy looking around the room and Alex was standing in the corner with her arms crossed.
“She has been on a coma since she saved you, Ms. Danvers-Luthor.”
“Enough with the sadness Kage, geez.” You say suddenly, emerging from the kitchen with four plates of steaming hot food
“That was quick.” Alex commented, thinking that you must've planned this, given how there's already prepared meals for them while Kara just looks happy to be given potstickers.
“Time moves differently here. In fact, I can manipulate the time here. Only in this dimension though. In the surface, only a split second has passed, and here, it's been 30 minutes.” You explained, sitting down to eat.
“I don't own any poison by the way. I find it incredibly tiring to go up to the surface to buy groceries, so I just let my shadows do it for me.” You nonchalantly say, noticing how Alex stared at her food wearily, spooning food into your mouth after you said those words.
“Even then, We really can't stay-” Alex's words were stopped when she saw Kara started eating
“...We really have to go” Alex continued with a stern glare to Kara
“I'll agree to containment if you eat.” You say easily, munching on your steak
“...Fine.” Alex grumbled, you always did find it cute when Alex tries to be tough. She has more similarities to her golden retriever of a sister than she'd like to admit.
After Alex sat down, you all continued eating silently, at first anyway. Lena initiated the conversation and soon Kara followed, her sister asking a few questions here and there. You were smiling happily, having gotten your life-long wish... Well, the life long wish being the 10 months you've been awake.
You hummed to yourself, talking with them a bit more, congratulating Lena on her recent achievements and she thanked you for that, chuckling at Kara's antics that mostly consisted of her boasting about her wife's “geniusness” while Lena raised her eyebrow at her, stifling a smile, to which you silently cooed at.
You seemed contented, beaming happily as you talked to her sister and her wife, Alex noted. She also watched your body movement, you had these small mannerisms that sometimes has her reaching down for her hand held gun, but always turning up to be a false alarm. She can't help but become paranoid of you, she knew from experience that red eyes almost always meant danger. That's what she told Lena when she told her of that child...
Alex's eyes silently widened for a bit, could you possibly be that child that Lena asked DEO's help on finding? Her eyes flitted to your left arm that was conveniently right in front of her, if you were who she thinks you are, you should have a long scar from your left shoulder to your forearm from one of Lex's tantrum, however she mentally facepalmed herself when she remembered you were wearing a long sleeved shirt. It made perfect sense, how Lena knew you, how Kara seemed comfortable around you when she knew for a fact that her sister haven't even met you yet. Alex is happy Lena found you, however, she still needed to bring you in, it's protocol. Alex reasons with herself.
Meanwhile, Kage is silently standing on your right, they're silently watching the scene in front of them. You looked happy. To the surface-dwellers, you looked happy. But to them? To your shadows? They know you're not. They are a part of you, They are connected to your very soul, they probably know you better than you know yourself, (Which you think is neither an advantage or disadvantage, you just asked them to not be too nosy with your thoughts unless necessary).
You're anxious. You just agreed to being caged once again. You knew that they weren't as harsh and brutal as Lex, but you were scared nonetheless. This was your first time going up to the surface for long periods of time and you were going to spend it trapped in a extremely bright, white colored room. You're terrified.
Once dinner was over, Kage and Alex looked at you with knowing eyes.
“Let me just get my stuff.” You mumbled, placing a hand on Kage's shoulder to prevent them from glaring and possibly ripping Alex's head from her body.
“You don't have to do this. I could kick them out.” Kage pleaded, feeling your fear.
“I don't break my promises Kage. Besides, I'm strong enough to go outside, you said it to yourself.” You say, staring at a journal you opted on giving to Lena, or Alex. You don't really know.
“But-” They tried stopping you as you walked to the door, bag in hand
“You'll be there for me when I need you right?” You peeked over your shoulder to look at Kage's white eyes, the only color that's not black on their whole body
“Of course.” they nodded
“Then that's all I need. Take care of this place for me, make sure there's no dust when I come back.” You grinned at them, the implied promise of coming back lingering in the air.
“Tsk. When have I ever missed even a single chore?” Kage scoffed
You just smirked, leading to Kage glaring at you.
“Asshole” They whispered, pushing past you and huffing as they moved to clean the table from your dirty plates.
“Kage will be staying here. I'll be the only one accompanying you to the surface. Before I forget tho-” You took out the leather bound journal, “-This was all of Lex's findings about me, also some things that I found out about myself, I wrote it there.” You gave the journal to Lena.
“It's legally yours, I just stole it.” You grinned mischievously as Lena scanned through the pages, eyes glimmering with unmistaken nostalgia and delight at the new information, but also distaste at seeing her brother's handwriting.
“Right. We should be going. Apparently 30 seconds of Supergirl and the Director of DEO missing is incredibly dangerous.” You chuckled, mocking Alex lightly before making a portal straight to the DEO headquarters, dead smack in the middle of it. Luckily Alex was quick on putting handcuffs on your wrists and leading you to one of the cells or else you would've been either in the bottom of a dogpile of sweaty and musty DEO agents or staring down on a barrel of a gun.
Alex seemed to loosen up a bit, telling you that they only need proof and confirmation that you are not a threat to humanity and they can let you go. You just shrugged her off and laughed, telling her that as long as you have at least 30 minutes of pitch black darkness in your cell once every week, you're going to be comfortable as too much light was damaging to your body.
Thankfully, due to Lex's journal, which you stole, the amount of tests that they performed on you were lessened. Lena did her best to visit you, telling you stories of both the past and present, exchanging opinions about certain things, and asking for your help on some of her “asshole business partners” problem. She also brought chess boards whenever she can, laughing at your annoyed expression since you never understood chess no matter how much she teaches you.
On times where Lena couldn't go, Kara would drop by, chatting you up until Alex barges in and drags the Kryptonian off the best that she can, which was funny to look at. An older Earthling sister dragging a begging younger Kryptonian sister away from the chuckling Earthling who had the ability to control shadows.
A few weeks later, you were given a pass to spar with Kara, on a 40% kryptonite room, which was hilarious because you just kept trapping Kara in your powers while she did her best to fly out and whine at you whenever you did that.
“That's not fair!”
“I don't have super strength nor do I have fighting skills. I have fragile Earthling arms! See?” You swayed your arms around, emphasizing your point.
The next day, Kara had to tend to some minor alien threat and so you were faced with the ever intimidating Director Danvers, who defeated you in 6 minutes and 48 seconds despite you using your powers.
“I give! I give!” You whined, pouting
“You have to get a lot better than that if you want to fight alongside Supergirl” She stated, drinking her water
“Wait, What?” You beamed, rushing to put your face directly in front of hers, which led you to being flipped and landing on your ass.
“I'm gonna fight WITH Supergirl?” You happily said, rubbing your sore ass cheeks
“Not with your fragile Earthling arms.” Alex smirked as you gave her a playful glare, charging at her to continue your sparring.
Up until now, you still haven't been able to defeat Alex.
A year of training and learning how DEO works, you were finally allowed on a mission with both Alex and Kara. A broken nose, bruised knuckles and a black eye later, the mission ended with success, which led to Alex giving you freedom to go back to your own pocket dimension and an invitation to the much awaited superfriends game night. Which you agreed to, happily. And you will never forget that first game night you attended.
You were painfully awkward, you only had interacted with Alex, Kara and Lena before, only talking to Winn when needed. But with a welcoming atmosphere, you quickly became comfortable, ensuring your spot in the “Superfriends” as Winn called them. You drank, laughed and played games together, making sure that Lena never plays monopoly since she's too good at it and also making sure that Lena and Kara are never team mates at charades since again, they're too good at it. You only left when you were forcefully dragged by Kage who appeared out of nowhere, claiming that you need to recharge for tomorrow's shenanigans, a small smile on their face when the superfriends were merely startled but not afraid of their appearance. (They also swatted James and Winn's hands when they tried to touch them)
Since then, you never missed a single game night. Which was probably how you ended up like this.
It wasn't a secret that you adored the couple more than you're supposed to. I mean, how could you not? They would often invite you over to their place to watch movies, drink wine and cuddle, claiming that you were warm and comfortable to sleep on. They also shielded you from the media when you first showed up as Supergirl's ally. You once had a nightmare on your first few weeks in DEO containment and Kara's worried face was the first thing you saw, Lena following in shortly after Kara called her and together they comforted you in the best way possible, cuddling and just generally distracting you from your nightmares.
But you knew exactly when you started seeing them in a new light. It was the fifth game night you attended, Lena paid all of you 15 bucks just to let her play monopoly and Charades with Kara. You all agreed in a heartbeat, 15 bucks is a lot of money.
You all started with Monopoly, no surprise, Lena won with a smug look on her face, but while you were playing, Kara was subtly helping you win, while Lena laughed as she took all your properties, which made you pout each time, making Kara sling her arm around you as she squeezed your pouting face, only stopping when you swatted her hands away.
But, what sealed your fate as the “Lover of Supercorp” (You smacked Winn for calling you that but then everyone started teasing you with it and you couldn't do anything but accept it) was probably the moment where Alex caught you blushing.
“Y/N? Can you help me with this please? I'm trying to figure out a way for us to access your pocket dimensions.” Lena asked you, her bottom lip jutted out, while Kara was beside her, puppy-eyed
“...Why?” You ask, suspicious with what they are planning.
“Are you planning on using my pocket dimensions to go to Paris? I tell you, when you get there, you'll be vomiting all over the streets.” You crossed your arms, stopping yourself from cooing and giving in.
“No, but France does sound good.” Lena smiles
“Still, my answer is no.” You moved to put your hand to the door when you're suddenly pulled into an embrace, then into another. You're sandwiched between a blonde goddess and a dark-haired goddess. Your eyes went wide. Even if you're in an empty conference room, you three were still in DEO and you were still on duty.
“Uhm” You stuttered, your brain momentarily shutting down
“Please?” Kara whispered, once again using her puppy eyes
“Oh fuck it. Sure.” You exasperatedly said, disliking the way your stomach was being trampled on by literal titans or the way your heart was pounding against your ribcage, begging to be let out so the couple could hold it in their hands
They cheered and the couple walked out of the room, smiling, animatedly talking about what possible dates they could go on with your portals, leaving you in the room, swooning, with Alex walking in to check on you.
“Are you blushing? I didn't know shadows could blush.” Alex commented, seeing the black dusting your cheeks and ears, blocking out the light that's shining brightly at your form
“I wasn't!” You denied, finally getting rid of the shadows that were covering your face
“I'm telling Kara and Lena.” She says, turning around
“ALEX NO!” You stopped her, the shadows returning to your cheeks
“See! You're doing it again!” She points out, touching your cheeks and shivering at how cold they feel.
“Tell them and I'll tell the new girl.” You smirked when it was Alex's turn to blush bright red, her cheeks warming up.
“Oh fine.” She grumbled, stomping lightly to the command center as she monitored some potential threats, mumbling about you being a stupid oblivious idiot.
The next few weeks consisted of you training and getting into missions while squeezing in Lena's little interdimensional project, teasing Alex with her crush on one K. Olsen and game nights. It was then you realized that, you haven't been home to Kage for a while. Deciding to stop by and recharge, you opened a portal to your mansion and immediately felt like something was wrong.
With your hands forming small bullet-like shadows, you entered your mansion, dropping the shadow bullets when you were bombarded with color. Whoever broke into your house, they definitely painted the living room walls from their dark violet to a dark red with royal blue accents. The colors reminded you of-
“Oh! You're home early!” Kara exclaims, rushing to you in superhuman speed from the kitchen?
“Kara? What- How? When-” You sputtered out questions, so utterly confused with what's happening.
“Turns out, the project I was working on finished earlier than expected, and we decided to give you a little reward for all your hard work.” Lena's words was accompanied by the clacking of her heels.
“Lena?” You muttered, drowning in her intense green eyes. You just stand there for a while, holding Kara's hand affectionately while staring at Lena's eyes, watching her as she visibly struggled getting something out of her system. She turned to Kara with pleading eyes, which made you turn to Kara with a confused look.
“Ahm. Well, You know. We uh, We're married.” Kara started, you chuckling at her words
“Yes, I am aware.” You tried to stop, and when you didn't, you felt Lena pinch your side, which made you yelp.
“Well, we uh-” Kara turns to Lena for help, while you just smiled warmly at both of them
“We like you.” Your eyes widened as you took a step back from them.
Are you dreaming again? Are you hallucinating? You secretly pinched yourself, and flinched when you felt pain. Yep, this is reality.
“Are you- You're not joking are you?” You pleaded with them
“No! Why would we?” Lena steps closer, claiming your right hand as Kara claims the other.
“I don't know, you're both amazing. Hell, Kara is literally Supergirl and Lena you're-” Your insecurities was silenced when Lena placed her lips onto yours, effectively shutting you up.
You stood there for a second, once again unsure if this was reality. You felt Kara's hand tightens her hold on yours as you responded to Lena's kiss.
You knew Lena was never good with being vulnerable, much less voicing out her emotions. But you felt your heart clench at the emotions being poured into your kiss. You moved the hand holding Lena's to her waist, as you held Kara's hand tighter, if that was possible, pulling them both closer to your body.
Kissing Lena was ethereal, passionate and breath-taking. Everything she couldn't say, she says with her kisses. You feel her adoration, her love but also her insecurities, her fears, something that you want to love and kiss until they vanish. Kissing Lena felt like winning. Kissing Lena felt like you could take all of the world's problems and punch them into oblivion. Kissing Lena felt like drinking a cool drink in the hot summer. You loved it. You love her.
Lena slowly pulled away from you, catching her breath as both your chest heave, large smiles plastered on your faces.
“Hi.” You say, making her giggle
“My turn!” Kara says, pulling you to her, slowly leaning in to kiss you.
Kara's kiss was slow, passionate and gentle. You felt her love, her adoration, her comfort but also her fears, something you want to disappear for a long time. Kissing her felt like travelling into multiple universes at once. Kissing her felt like sunshine and rainbows, but also of storms and hurricanes all at once. Kissing Kara felt like drinking hot chocolate while in the middle of a freezing winter. You loved it. You love her.
You've imagined kissing them on multiple occasions, In conference rooms, In stakeouts, In boring meetings. But those imaginary scenes never held a candle to actually kissing them.
Kissing them felt like home.
You're finally home.
“So, I say, You're officially the Lover of SuperCorp huh?” Kara teased after she pulled away
“I'm pretty sure she already was ever since she first met us.” Lena shot back, gripping Kara's hand and grinning happily
“Ugh.” You groaned, throwing your head back, letting them lead you to the kitchen where Kage was setting the dinner table, winking at you.
Who knew that being a friendly shadow led you home into their arms?
Certainly not you.

99 red balloons
Tumblr media
It was already late and cold, so you and Lena found yourselves blanked up in front of the fire. Hot cocoa and all.
You had somehow managed to convince her to do absolutely nothing on this Sunday evening, and it was paying off. Lena was the most calm she had been all week, and you were more than happy to get to see that.
You were gazing into the fire when you felt a certain someone staring.
“What are you thinking of?”
“Home,” you mused, your eyes back in the fire.
You should probably look away, or at least blink, because you were already feeling the heat in your eyes; yet you didn’t.
“Tell me about it,” she asked, huddling closer to you.
“About what?”
“Your home.”
You forced your eyes out of the fire to look at Lena. It wasn’t as if she didn’t know about your planet, you’d told her pretty much every basic thing from it. From where it was, to what had happened to it, but somehow you felt she wasn’t asking about that.
“My home…” You repeated while she nodded. “Well, it was a very beautiful planet… Before the doom of Krypton. It wasn’t very wealthy, but that was probably for the best… Rich civilizations lose track of what matters…”
Lena only watched you. You looked different from this angle, lit by this orange mist. You looked much more melancholic than she had ever seen you.
“There were moments during the day when all lights were shut off… And you could see the beautiful red sky, like there were dozens of balloons, just floating there. Most of the time you could see the clear sky, but that hour of nothing… It always brought me so much peace…”
You remembered then, like you hadn’t for so long, that beautiful red sky… Those times when children played along the orange horizon. A single tear dropped from your eye, and you let it.
Those memories were buried too deep, but they still hurt so close.
Lena pictured the sky painted red, she got lost in it. She pictured herself in that field with you, just laying there. It wasn’t before hearing a soft sniffle that she noticed the pain in your eyes, but you continued nonetheless.
“We ran away when the red started getting darker, when it was morning and the sky looked as black as night. Not all of us left, sadly.”
“Did you ever go back?” She asked, unsure of if it was the right set of words.
“Yes.”
She didn’t ask anything else. Your expression had gotten even sadder, so she just held on to you.
“It was all dust… The capitol, the city, the houses… Everything. I only found a watch. The one over there,” you said, pointing to the top of the fireplace with your head. “It’s not mine, nor was it my family’s. But it’s a reminder. Sort of a… souvenir, if I must give it a name…” You gazed into the little picture sitting on the coffee table, remembering the days when you’d all run under that blessed sky.
“They would be proud of you,” Lena said. “Of who you have become, and everything you have done since then…”
“I hope so,” you muttered, believing little of it.
Lena nodded, pressing a kiss to your forehead, “I’m sorry if I brought you bad memories.”
“Don’t be. Remembering is good… Remembering is all I have left.”

Russian Translations:
Принцесса - Princess
The room was filled by your heavy breathing and the sound of your hands making contact with the heavy bag. The slight light that came from the bulb gave enough sight for you to see and the others to check on you. The smell of french fries invaded the room as well as the sound of the arena coming out of the bag after your last hit.
Taking your wrapped hand out of the bag, you huffed as the last of your patience started to leave. The last three days made you frustrated, every hour one of the teams would come into the room and try to make you open up. Some of them calmer than others.
Your conversations with them had been cold and short. Your disinterest every time they came made some of them have more determination and others to leave faster. The blank and void expression in your face every time they would come up with something that they hoped would let you open up, scared them.
Kara overflowed with hope, but every time she tried with you and your expression kept beginning blank, your sister hated herself inside for making you leave. Alex was blinded by rage and sadness, she tried to be considerate but after the third visit without you talking, her comforting voice became yelling, determined to get you back.
Oliver stood hours with your training and trying to make up to you, he was the one who had the longest time with you, his and yours silence made him know a lot of things. How much were you hurt and broken on the inside? Your fighting was somehow balanced to his, and he knew every time he looked into your eyes, you were lost and he wasn't going to stop trying but your best friend’s hope was slowly leaving. Felicity was calm and comforting, somehow made you comfortable when the blonde with glasses started to ramble out facts. Her hope and determination were the same as her fiance, she knew you were going to come back just like Oliver did.
Lena never came inside of the room after your guys' first encounter. Pain covered her heart at the sight of the void you. Self-hatred and more had been going on since the first minute. She stood watching you from the window, but never coming inside, never trying to get you back. Kara and Alex had comforted your girlfriend as she never left the place, she was scared of losing you again, and there were nothing and no one that would eliminate that feeling.
You lay on the couch as you eat the fries. Everything was silent and calm, comforting you inside. Thoughts have been moving through your head somehow making your bottle of feelings stir. You wanted to get out of there and find your life again. The soft smile of satisfaction when you remember how you had almost gotten back to Roulette, only to leave when the pain on your stomach began to fly in when you remembered the black-haired had shot you.
The youngest Luthor stood outside watching you from the window, smiling softly when she saw your smile. Tears overwhelmed her as she did, remembering the times that smile grew bigger lighting the room and was only for her.
Her expression left when she heard the strong footsteps of the Queen man, followed by the two Danvers sisters and Felicity. Oliver grabbed a gun and a knife from the glass cabinet before speaking up. “Don't stop me, she is going to talk”
“What!? Oliver!” Lena and Felicity screamed as your sister held them back, as the Green Arrow entered the room with determination.
Immediately at the sound of the door, you sat up straight observing the Queen’s posture. Oliver didn't even hesitate to put the gun in your temple making you chuckle while getting up.
Lena screamed as tears ran down her face trying to lose the redhead's grip. “No! You are going to hurt her, let me go!”
“Come on, Queen. Why are we wasting time? Both of us know that I don't have anything to live for, and neither I have something to die for, I'm just remaining” You said, the words hitting everyone have a cold stone. Your tone was truthful and somewhat open, closing your eyes as the last words purred from your tongue you stood there waiting for it.
You didn't flinch at any moment of the encounter. Oliver gripped the gun stronger and walked away, the four women watching from the outside some calmer than others. The knife made his way in your direction almost grazing your face as you took a step aside well aware of Oliver's throw.
Your expression remained intact, you didn't flinch, didn't think, didn't even breathe. That's when your redhead sister let go of Lena and came back with both of your parents. Eliza and Jeremiah both remained quiet as they entered the Arrow’s cave. Both of them knew of the situation. Jeremiah was different from Eliza and had determination and angriness in his eyes while your blonde mom stood with worry and sadness in her eyes.
You stood there having a connected glance with the archer, only to furrow your eyes as the door opened again, only this time for all of them to come in. Lena and Felicity on the front walking to each side of the room, your sisters following behind and your parents at last.
You scoffed the moment you saw your father, anger began to fill your body as your bottled feelings began to flow out, as your last bit of patience broke. “I'm not doing this anymore”
“You are not going anywhere kid,” The black-haired man said getting in front of you. Your sisters watched closely, while Oliver tried to put together your anger burst.
You spatted, glaring at him. Lena looked into your eyes finding a burst of pain, hurt, resentment, and anger hidden in your eyes. “Get the fuck out of my way, Jeremiah”
“Lilian let you out to play fetch, or did she finally get tired of you?” When the scientist only stepped closer, one of his hands trying to grab your clenching fits as blood came down from them. You tilted your head gaining control of the situation and speaking only for your sisters and mom’s eyes to go wide and your father to scoff.
“You do not speak to me with that tone, I’m your father, we are your family” Your father scoffed, taking a step back, looking at you disapprovingly with his arms closing in his chest.
You claimed with a sarcastic laugh. All of the hatred and angriness could be heard in your tone, also the hurt could be heard by everyone. Here I thought you were are allergic to this family, or more specifically me”
Leaving everyone confused, you walked out of the cave. Everyone stood quietly before your oldest sister burst in anger looking at your dad. “What the hell did she mean by that?”
----------
You entered the bar, and the sound of the music overwhelmed your ears. The smell of alcohol could be identified by your nose. The dark bar was full of people. Colored soft lights rotating around making you distingue where the bar stool was.
“Pass me 5 shots and the bottle of vodka, please,” You said to the green-eyed bartender as you sat on one of the stools, keeping your glance to the table.
Minutes became hours as the third vodka bottle stood empty at your right side, while you drank the five shots in less than a minute. Tears slowly gained control in your eyes as all of your feelings gained control of you.
“Can I get another one, please? I just want to forget” Slurring your words while pouting to the blonde bartender, who had a worried expression on her face.
The blonde started but was interrupted by a voice behind you “Sweetheart, I don't think you should keep drinking-”
“Hey! You up for a competition?” A tall dark-haired guy with a group of women and men behind him asked you. Gaining your attention, you smirked before nodding fastly.
You walked back to the table where all of the shots were begin arranged, determined to win, you chunked down a water bottle on one of the girl’s hands. Your drunkenness is starting to hit.
The minutes passed on a bliss, one moment you were drinking the first shot, and the next one you were begin cheered on after you chunked down a full bottle of vodka in less than 2 minutes.
You start crying as one of the guys brought out the whisky and the wings. The boys drunkenly comforted you as you cried and sobbed for Lena. You sat at the edge of the table as you sang drunkenly with the rest of the group.
“I loved you, I loved you, I loved you, it's true”
“And sometimes I feel like I still fuckin' do”
Your hand made its way to the vodka, closing the distance on your way to chunk down as much as you could so you could forget, even though you didn't want to forget, it hurt you and you just wanted the pain to be gone. A hand grabbed the bottle with force and stopped you from drinking.
In a second you were surrounded by your sisters, Oliver and Lena. All with worried faces on, as Kara read the name of what you were drinking. “Alien Vodka, out of this world”
“Hey, guys” You slurred, moving your head to rest in your hand as you smiled dumbly at them.
All of them stood in shock when your warm and open personality was regained. You turned around when you felt a voice startled you. A brown-eyed brunette asked you, as she extended her hand to you. “Would you like to dance?”
Lena felt everything burning inside, the jealous feeling of seeing you with another person made her feel sick. Her whole demeanor changed the moment she smiled at you. ‘How dare any person think they can get their hands on you?’ Alex had caught on to her friend's reaction and slightly hit her shoulder playfully.
“No, thank you. I have a certain type, soft black hair, green eyes you can get lost and an accent.” You responded with a dreamy smile on your face, as you put your head on the table and looked dreamily at the bar as you described Lena.
The brunette nodded and walked off, Lena feeling pride inside as all of them watch you stare dreamily at the vodka bottle. Memories of Lena began to flow into your mind, nights of cuddling and kisses, holidays, galas, dates, everything. Her smile made you fall to your knees at every waking moment of the day.
The moment you went to grab the bottle again when the pain of the break up flowed back in, two strong arms scooped you in bridal style making you giggled as your best friend spoke. “That's enough for you, Y/N”
“Ollie! Ollie, I missed you so much” You claimed as you tried to hug him as strong as you could, giggling.
“Me too, idiot,” Oliver said as he kissed your forehead with a smile.
“Idiot in love, Ollie. I told you that, Idiot is so much love” You said pointing a finger to his chest, as you hide your face in his neck.
Lena and your sister walked behind you and Oliver as he carried you. Glancing at her dreamily before speaking, playing with your hands, the trio heard the conversation.“You know we both wanted to marry strong geniuses. I had a ring, Ollie, the best ring for Lena. It was perfect for her. I worked so, so, so hard and I had it all planned. Christmas morning, only letting my sisters know that day because they would have asked me and bullied me the whole time.”
“Y/N-” He said softly only for you to interrupt him again.
“I don't ever want to stop loving her, even though it hurts, she was my everything Olie, like Felicity she is a soft genius, like Alex, my sister, do you remember her? She is strong, and like Kara she is a star and a hero” You interrupted, your voice came in as a broken sob, sadness coming out of it as you spoke.
Oliver began to walk slower, as you started to cry silently. Emotional and physical pain overwhelming your body. The trio walked right up to you, as you spoke. “Dad told me I needed to put my feelings in a bottle and keep them inside, that would make me strong enough to fight the demons away. But Dad also left me two times, Ollie, he left me all alone after making me bottle my feelings.”
Alex and Lena clenched their fits as the words fell out of your mouth, while Kara scooped you in her arms, trying to calm you as heartbroken sobs began to come out of your mouth. Oliver kept his worried glances every once in a while, while Kara tried to comfort you as much as she could, having a heavy gut feeling that they weren't going to like what you have to say.
“I don't want to be alone. I wanted to be strong for everyone, so they could be happy” You whispered under your breath, as everything began to flow in.
Flashback - 3 years before, 2 months after leaving National City
The nights after your departure from National City leaving everything behind had been the worst. Cold and silent nights in Texas as you cried yourself to sleep. After hours of clinging to everything that you could, it left you exhausted physically and mentally.
Boxes and bags of takeout and beer flood the apartment. The mess of your clothes dividing your living room with your bed. The study apartment smelled like french fries, ice cream, and car oil. You laid your back on the couch dipping your fries into the ice cream bowl. Tears unstoppably running down your cheeks and heartbroken sobs coming out of your mouth.
The strong yet soft knock on the door startled you, making you face land into the floor when you went to get up off the couch. Walking over to the door you opened without even looking through the peephole.
Your breath caught your breath, as you looked up to find a familiar, way too familiar face in front of you. Small and soft tears began to flow in your eyes when your eyes caught the view of your deceased father. Your stomach clenched painfully. Your vision became blurry and everything began to fade around you.
The last thing you recognize is the warm embrace you had missed for years. The fatherly embraced that you craved after his death.
-----
“You took a snooze” You woke up on the couch seeing a figure moving at your side, cleaning the apartment. Everything came crashing to you as your father walked over with a smile, you struggled to return one when all the emotional pain you had felt for the last two months and the pain from losing your father began to combine.
You claimed to get up from the couch with hesitation, taking all of him. Scared that he would just vanish into the air. Memories of his funeral, memories of sleepless nights of crying and the void feeling for years.“Dad?”
“I know, it's confusing and almost unbelievable but I'm here, I'm real, I'm alive, Y/N,” Your father said, walking up to you waiting for your first move. The moment you touched his arm, your body became automatic and embraced him as much as you could, clinging to him scared that he would disappear again.
Minutes passed and both of you pulled away, with teary, red puffy eyes you mumbled questions, not knowing the right one. “How...? What...? Why-?”
“A lot of things happened, I was severely injured and Cadmus took me in, they helped me get better and in exchange, I helped them with a few things.” He said as he sat upright on the couch.
The hurt that passed through your eyes as the relaxation hit you, was enough to not make you understand a few things. You said as you walked various times back and forth in the living room  “So you've been alive this entire time?”
“Yeah, I couldn't get in any contact with anyone who knew me as Jeremiah Danvers, if I did I would have put you all in danger, especially your sisters” He responded looking up to you, waiting for your reaction.
“You have been keeping up with our lives?” You asked as you took a seat beside him, looking at him with teary eyes, and the same scared face you did as a kid.
“I have, your sisters grew up to be the strong, independent, heroes they were always meant to be. And you, my little artist did the same” He said bringing you into another hug, only for you to pull away before the hug.
You got up off the couch, as tears began to flow in again, the hatred that you had him for dying so early, the caring he gave you when you hurt yourself accidentally, the holidays, all of you together as a family, everything.
“I’m sorry” You exclaimed looking into his eyes, before taking a deep breath continuing.
Your voice cracked the moment the last few words left your mouth. You tried to keep the tears from coming out, with shaky hands. “For hating you the time, I hated you. It just kept hurting and I didn't know how to stop it.”
“And when mom told us that you entered the DEO to protect Kara, and died in a plane crash when I was just a kid, that you did all of these things with them because they were older and it was their time for you to teach them that, but I never received them. I felt less when you weren't in my first father-daughter dance, or when I didn't have a dad to take to the fathers day in middle school, or when you taught Kara and Alex how to cook, or when you taught them how to go camping or to help me in the tryouts for my sports, or the tryouts for the band, or how to do my first Rubik's cube, I didn't have you for any of that, while they did” You commented. Your father sat on the couch, with teary eyes.
You finished breaking down in your knees as the last words left your mouth.“I know mom was there, and I love her for that but there were things that they learned from you, that I never got to do them. Inside jokes that were not appropriate until I was in middle school and more. Mom was amazing but there was always a missing void inside of me that I never got to fill until lately until it left again”
“I promise you, that it was never my intention. You, my little artist just like your sisters mean the world to me. And I promise you I will never leave you again” He promised, wrapping you in a fatherly embrace, as you sobbed.
“You promise?” You whispered after your breathing had become calmer, now in a more calmed but hurting stage, still wrapped in the hug with your now very alive father.
“I promise, crossing my heart with it” He whispered, kissing the top of your head after you let out a small chuckle.
Hours had passed by and the two of you were eating pizza, as you caught up with him. A few things left your mind at unease but he was your father so how could you not trust him. Even though you force a smile from moment to moment, the broken feeling inside you never left, and Jeremiah had seemed to keep up.
“I know you loved her-” He said carefully, before putting his beer on the table as you interrupted.
You said cleaning your face with the napkin, looking him in the eye. Trying to make him understand. “Love, I love her that. I don't think I will ever stop”
“To be at your best, you need to face your demons and yours are all these insecurities and feelings that you have. And put them in a bottle, closing it, keeping them there. You are not going to feel pain or hurt or anything. You are going to be powerful, strong” He said calmly.
Your mind went into overdrive, you didn't want to forget your feelings and less for Lena, she was the love of your life even though you weren't hers. You also didn't want to forget the caring and protectiveness towards your family. Your feelings were normally the greater part of you and you didn't know if you could just shape them into certain things.
You responded worriedly. “Why would I do that? I don't wanna stop feeling that, and less stop caring for everyone”
“Do you trust me, Y/N/N?” He recounted looking at you with a sad smile and determination in his gaze.
Somehow the question felt so foreign and everything inside you yelled for you to not trust him but you could only see the father that wanted the best for his kids. So you went and picked out your heart before your instinct as always. “I do, I do, dad”
“Then trust me with this, and if you do this I would be so proud of you,” He said walking to the couch, signaling you to go.
Your heart and mind ached for his approval and his pride, something you had craved from everyone since you were a kid, and right now that your dad was willing to give it to you after all of this was more than worthy of it.
You murmured as you nodded sitting on the couch, turning to him. “Okay, I will make you proud dad”
“Close your eyes, clench your fits, breath fondly, and open your mind.” He said as you reclined into the couch following each one of his instructions.
Your father kept going after a pause, everything became quieter and the only thing you could focus on was in his instructions. “Imagine the glass bottle like if it was a room, and inside the room are all of your feelings, it doesn't matter if they are bad or good. Nothing can be left behind”
“Now when you breathe in again you are going to suck them all into the bottle and when you breathe out, you are going to close the glass bottle like if it was new, with a champagne cap so it can't be open” He finished taking a deep breath.
Everything began to fade out. Your feelings, your memories, your insecurities, your wants, your needs, it was just blank. Until there wasn't anything anymore.
He said after he saw you fall asleep, looking over at you one last time before walking out of the apartment without even bothering to say goodbye. Leaving you behind unconscious and now in a new territory that you never experienced before. “There that's it, there it is”
-----
You opened your eyes and everything was gone. There wasn't pain, or happiness, or hope there wasn't anything. A gut feeling of betrayal was what you felt as you got up off the couch. The solitude and silence were what gave you the bad feeling as you started to call out for your father. The only person you could rely on from now on. “Dad!? Dad!?”
The time of the day passed and you realized you were alone, that even you knew he was real and alive. He left you once again, this time more broken than before, and void than before.
After giving you an out for your feelings all he did was put you in a box. Where you had to stay. And you understood that maybe you just weren't enough for anyone, and everyone was just too good for you. And now you weren't going to let anyone walk over you, you were going to be what your father once thought and wanted you to be. But this time, everything was going to be different, now that you were broken beyond repair, you were just going to remain.
Flashback ends
“Ollie?” You whispered as the five of you went into the elevator, your head on the crook of your blonde sister’s neck, finding the glance of your best friend.
He waited for your question, as everyone went silent. Alex and Lena froze when they heard your vulnerable, fragile, and hurt voice.
“Do you think I am a princess?” You asked as you cling to your sister's shirt. Kara reassuringly kissing the top of your head.
The last minutes had been intense, you had opened to them about your’s and your father’s interaction three years ago. Alex and Lena remained silent as well as Oliver, Kara would occasionally when she felt you sob quietly reassure you that you were not alone.
“I do, you are a strong, brave, and unbreakable princess” He responded with a smile, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he did.
“Anatoly said the same, that's why I get to be the принцесса in the Bratva. Did you hear that Kar? I'm a princess” You claimed drunkenly with a chuckled and a small smile. Just like when you were a kid and you just had won a prize.
Kara chuckled before hugging you closer to her chest as she spoke. Alex's small laugh in the background and Lena's heels sound as you guys walk into the room. “Yeah, I know little one, I know. But you need to sleep”
You looked up to your older sister with a pout on your face, almost crying. The same expression of a kicked puppy. Your voice was more into a yawn than a request. “You think Alex would sing to me? I can make the lemon pie she likes so much-”
“I will sing to you but you need to do two things for me, okay?” Alex responded as Kara laid you on the couch softly. Her voice was the same one she used on you as a kid when you got injured or sad.
You responded as you brought her into an embrace, in which the redhead started to tear up. “Whatever you want”
She whispered kissing your forehead softly, before cleaning her tears waiting for your response.“You tell me about your scars, and you don't shut us out please”
“I promised, and Alex?” You called as they began to leave the room.
She asked, walking closer to you. “Yes, honey?”
Your drunken thoughts, memories, and insecurities came out as the words left your lips, the drunkenness had seemed to take more effect on you when you didn't notice both Kara and Lena still standing at the doorway of the room begin able to hear the conversation.
You asked quietly, before looking up to her with a kicked puppy face worried. Your tone almost lets out a sob that you caught the moment your ex came into your mind.“Do you think if Lena had seen the ring, she would have liked it?”
“I know she would have loved it, baby bear,” The redhead said, cleaning away the tear that had got out of your eye. Smiling sweetly at you before walking away again.
You murmured when the door closed, your consciousness and foggy mind leaving you. As you fell asleep “I love you guys so, so, so much”
-----
Lena stood at the side watching you and your sisters interact. Her heart ached painfully when she learned that you had a ring for her. You were planning to propose to her as if you were the love of her life. The moment the words fell out of your lips ‘perfect like her’ her heart broke into million pieces.
Lena remembered every single smile, laugh, kiss, hug, cuddle, and more. As everything fell into place, the hits in the romantic movies. The sudden and carefully said by you ‘I want to wake up like this every single day of my life’ ‘I want to have you forever and always’ ‘I could get used to your sudden use of bad jokes’ ‘i wish to kiss you infinity times’ and more.
Reliving the same pain over and over again. Kara and Lena stood outside of the door where Alex looked apologetically between them. Both of them silently cry, at the sudden relaxation. Alex opened and closed her mouth a couple of times before walking away without a word.
The best friends stood there unable to put their thoughts together. Both of them hurt inside for hurting one of the most important people in their lives. Both of her hearts and minds hurting and hating themselves for it.
They had ruined you, as well as your father did. And now they didn't even know where to start getting you back. After all, you were just you, you were strong but easy to break, and now that you were broken beyond repair, would you be able to come back forever and not as you are intoxicated in something?

You knew that, somehow, you were different, changed. When you were younger, you use to break your bones all the time. You were an athletic kid, playing soccer, rugby, and softball. Injuries like these were an occupational hazard, a normal part of being active, so why was it that one day, it just stopped? You went from getting hurt on the regular to hurting other people on accident. You never broke another bone again, and you got inexplicably stronger. It was weird, especially when you had no recollection of how it happened to you. Physical dexterity like this took time, exercise and patience, none of which you worked on. It became a nuisance too. Sometimes controlling your strength felt next to impossible, and no one wanted to be around you. You could be a destructive force, hurting people and destroying property if you weren’t careful.
The only person who was willing to hang out with you was Alex. She was her own force to be reckoned with, with an attitude to match and a fierceness that made her feisty. She didn’t mind your strength from some odd reason, and you noticed that it started right about when Kara, her adopted sister, came into her life. You always had fun being around her. She was an amazing friend. It was obvious that Alex could hold her own and there were many adventures you went on with her because of her adventurous disposition. Unfortunately, after you both graduated high school, Alex decided to leave town to go to college and you never saw her again. You often wondered how she was doing.
Now, you were currently living in National City, working as the head of research in L-Corp. You worked closely with Lena Luthor, as she would regularly share her ideas, and if she had the time, would work on them with you. You loved your job, and you loved your life. You wished for nothing to change, except the pesky strength that you seemed to retain, even after all this time. You noticed that it responded to stress, manifesting in you when two hormones were released into your blood stream: cortisol and adrenaline. You figured that as long as you stayed calm, you would be alright, right? Well, that was easier said than done. You were working on Lena’s image inducers, a technology she came up with to help aliens better fit in. The idea behind it was great, and you felt like the technology helped aliens to be less self conscious about their appearance, especially if they looked less than humanoid. It was getting the damn thing to work that was the problem.
You were testing the product again when the device short circuited, sparks flying everywhere as the technology powered down and you groaned in frustration. You flexed your hands, something you did subconsciously when you were frustrated, and the tablet that you held shattered in your hold. You gasped, the screen in shards and the thin metal in pieces, and you sighed, rolling your eyes as you carried your latest mess to the trash can.
“Again?” a feminine voice asked behind you. You turned to see Lena descending the steps into the lab. You smiled sheepishly, disposing of the destroyed remains of the tablet before scratching the back of your head.
“Yeah, I’m so sorry.”
Lena smiled. It was the fifth one you managed to destroy in the period that you worked here, and somehow, she wasn’t pissed with you. If the roles were reversed, you would be, at the very least, angry that someone was destroying your property, but here she was, chuckling as she quirked an eyebrow in amusement.
“Have you always been this strong?”
“Since as long as I could remember,” you answered.
Lena nodded. “Don’t sweat it, I’ll get you another one shortly. I came down to see how everything was going?”
You sighed and shrugged. “Not so well. The device keeps shorting out and I think it’s faulty circuitry. I’ll have to make a note and send it to technical support to see what I keep doing wrong.”
Lena shook her head. “No need. Let me see it.”
You handed the device over to her, and she cracked it open, studying it for only a few seconds before she smiled.
“See that?” she said, while pointing to some wires and you nodded. “These wires are exposed, and the battery is giving off excess energy. Simple fix.”
You…missed that, somehow, and you frowned as you took the device from her hand and tilted it, looking at it from a different angle. She was right of course, and you laughed.
“You know if you want me to quit, all you have to do is say so, because clearly I have no idea what I’m doing.”
Lena laughed, the sound quiet and controlled, but still beautiful. When Lena was in the lab, she was her most authentic self compared to when she was in her office. In her office, she was a stoic CEO who was all seriousness and business meetings. Down here, she was more human, capable of smiles and laughter. You liked it, knowing that in here, she was someone who you could connect with even if it was on a professional level.
“Alright boss,” you said. “I’ll have it fixed right away.”
*** It was later that night when you finally decided to go home. After hours of working, the image inducer was completed, and it was ready for the next steps of marketing, whatever that was. You didn’t know what happened to a piece of technology once it was perfected and approved, your job was literally to make sure it was okay for use. That was all.
You rubbed the back of your neck, the exhaustion of the day settling into your back stiffly and you rolled your shoulders. At least it was an accomplishing day, and you finished the project. Something like that always gave you a satisfied feeling that far outweighed the tiredness. Your stomach grumbled and you stopped at a nearby Chinese restaurant, ordered take out, before continuing home. You had just crossed the threshold into your apartment when you phone went off in your pocket.
What the hell?
Who could be calling you this late at night? Maybe it was Lena. Sometimes that did happen, though it was rare, but when you checked the caller ID, it was a number you didn’t recognize. Still, something compelled you to answer it, and you hit the accept button before holding the phone to your ear.
“Hello?”
“Alas, Babylon,” was all that you heard.
You zoned out, your vision tunneling as your brain latched on to the spoken phrase. If you had been normal, you would have been confused as to what it meant, but you weren’t normal. It was like a part of your brain was unlocked, and you clenched a fist, your face neutral, as you planned how to exactly execute your mission.
*** Finding the DEO was easy, after all it was a tall building in the middle of National City. It was appalling how often it was overlooked. Breaking in was even easier, thanks to your enhanced strength. Getting through the DEO personal was a cake walk. They tried attacking you with their guns and weapons, but thanks to your increased body density, it was like trying to take down a brick wall. You were a meta human, a successful experiment implemented by CADMUS and designed to complete one task: to take out the new Director of the DEO. It was your mission since you were young, even if you didn’t remember because the information was locked away in your brain. It was to be accessible to you until the time was right. Even your true strength was in a state of dormancy, even if small traces of it bled out while you were prancing around L-Corp, pretending to be someone that you weren’t. You weren’t Y/n. You weren’t anyone. The moment you heard those activation words, your persona ceased to exist to you, and even you couldn’t remember who you were.
This was your true calling, to be an instrument for CADMUS, and to eliminate the one named Alex Danvers. You were unfeeling as agents fired shots at you. The bullets ricocheted, bouncing off your skin to imbed themselves in the walls that surrounded you. This was too easy you noticed, child’s play. You picked up a nearby desk with one hand and launched it at the agents nearest to you. You watched dispassionately as they were sent flying backwards. You continued to plow through the forces, throwing agents and reinforcements out of your way until you reached the main control room. It was invigorating. The more you fought, the stronger you got. You could feel your muscles tense with power, your body strong and unyielding as people tried to tackle you. You threw them off, picking them up and swinging them around like they were made of nothing, and you kept tossing people until you heard a voice that made you freeze.
“Y/n?”
You turned to see chocolate brown eyes and deep red hair. You stared into the eyes of your childhood friend, feeling like you should experience some nostalgia but instead, not feeling anything at all. This woman meant nothing to you, even if you felt your heart do a flip.
You didn’t respond, instead you launched yourself at her, your arms outstretched as you prepared to grab her, only to be punched in the face hard enough to be thrown to the ground.
A woman, in a suit of blue and red, stood above you. Her eyebrows were furrowed in anger before she saw who you were, and then you watched as her expression turned into shock.
“Y/n?”
You stared at Supergirl, expressionless and emotionless still. You flipped onto your feet and swung at her.
“What are you doing?” she demanded.
“My orders are to eliminate the new Director of the DEO, Alex Danvers,” you said in a monotone, almost robotic voice.
Supergirl caught your fist, forcing it away from her body as she looked at you.
“Alex, something’s wrong! Look at her eyes!”
Alex could see it. Your eyes were completely blacked out, like a shark, as you stared lifelessly, but also determinedly at Supergirl. The hero tried to force you back, but she groaned. Her arms shook from the effort of trying to move you and she clenched her teeth.
“God, Alex! She’s strong!” she gritted out. You continued to regard her neutrally, grabbing her arms with a single hand and flipping her on her back. Then you pivoted on your foot, swinging her around to gain momentum before throwing her through a concrete wall. Alex gasped. Watching her sister being forcibly handed wasn’t something she saw everyday. You turned to look at her.
“My orders are to eliminate the new Director of the DEO, Alex Danvers,” you repeated, staring at her with empty eyes. You stalked towards her, your arms clenching with power.

Lena Luthor x Reader : Truth
This is my first quote request and my first time writing for Lena. It’s likely that this sucks and if it does please let me know(nicely). I love Lena but it’s possible I shouldn’t be writing for her😅
Quote: "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I'll meet you there." - Rumi

Despite being awake, you cuddle closer to the woman in your arms, breathing deeply and trying to ease back into sleep.
Only for her alarm to go off, effectively pulling you from that sleepy state.
When she starts to move you tighten your hold and press a kiss to her neck,“ shhhh. If we don’t move time just might freeze.”
Lena laughs softly,” I don’t think that’s how it works.”
“Well I think your next invention should make that possible. I hate leaving you.”
The woman turns in your hold, green eyes boring into yours, searching your soul in a way she always had. You raise your hand, cupping her cheek, and leaning in.
Her eyes shut, expecting a kiss, and you give her one. On her cheek. Effectively making her giggle.
“Well that’s not what I was expecting.” She speaks honestly, resting her face in the crook of your neck as she snuggles closer.
As you shut your eyes you have the full intent to go back to sleep. It’s incredibly rare that Lena agrees to sleep in even if it’s a few minutes. But that doesn’t pan out.
The second you hear your phone buzz you know you have to get up. It could’ve been ignored but the triple buzz is a custom notification, from the DEO.
So reluctantly, you pull yourself away from Lena who laughs at you and gets up as well.
“What happened to sleeping in?” She teases, stepping from the shower as you brush your teeth.
You roll your eyes,“ I didn’t want to get up but duty calls Miss Luthor. As I’m sure your familiar with.” You place a gentle swat to her ass that makes the CEO blush furiously.
The worst part of your day comes when you and Lena part ways. A slow passionate kiss all that you have to hang on to until later tonight.
Stepping into the DEO gives you the same feeling it always does. You feel proud to be apart of an organization that saves lives(human and otherwise). And you also feel happy, especially seeing your friends.
“Hey hey.” You smile as you approach the people surrounding the table.
“Y/n!” Kara’s own bright smile meets your eyes and she’s quick to hug you, more than happy to not hold back her super strength to do so. Your daxamite genes take it with gusto and you return the hug with almost the same amount of strength.
“Super hug!” Winn exclaims, joining the hug, and groaning when you playfully squeeze just a tad bit harder.
“Glad you’re in a good mood Agent Y/Ln,” J’onn says with a nod,“ cause we’ve got a big one.”
By big one, he meant big one. None of you are sure who’s inside the lead lined metal suit but you have to assume it’s someone familiar with yours and Karas weaknesses.
A loud frustrated groan leaves your lips when you enter your apartment. Fighting a lead suited man makes you ache in places you hadn’t ached in before.
Of course the one fatal weakness you have is exploited by the enemy.
On top of having your ass handed to you today you come home to an empty apartment, the absence of your girlfriend making you groan again.
It’s not unusual for you to be home before Lena, but that doesn’t make it any better. So you use this time to try and feel better.
Ice works for humans right? Might as well try it.
As you’re resting on the couch, bags of ice on your abdomen and leg, a burst of wind flies past you. H/c strands of hair tousle at the rush and you smirk.
“Always a pleasure Miss Danvers.” You glance at the open balcony doors and over to the front door where Kara stands in her Supergirl uniform.“ What’s the reason for this visit?”
She smiles brightly,“ I know tonight’s fight was tougher on you,” she holds her hands up to reveal two bags, one from your favorite bakery and the other from a Thai place,“ so I picked this up on my way home.”
The blonde walks over and starts opening the bags and the second you smell the sweetness of your favorite dessert you sigh.
Eyes closed, you clap your hands together, and look to the sky,“ Kara thank the gods for you!”
Just as quickly as your moment of happy had come it vanishes at the hurt and shocked voice of your girlfriend.
“Kara?”
Both you and your super friend snap your gazes to Lena and you quickly realize your fuck up.
How had neither of you heard her come in? How could you have slipped up like that?
“Lena-“ you both go to move toward her but she steps back, the hurt clear in her green eyes.
“Kara, you’re Supergirl?” The blonde can just nods at her question. And her gaze turns to you,” and you knew?”
You can only imagine how finding this out must feel. Her best friend and girlfriend have been lying to her.
“How did you know? How long?” She asks you, your lying to her seemingly worse than Kara’s.
Opening and closing your mouth, you struggle to figure out how to tell her that you’ve known your whole relationship.
She knows you’re a Daxamite, having met you when you saved her from being hit by a car. The woman was distracted by her phone conversation and stepped straight in front of a speeding car.
At the time you were working. A superhero “in training” as Winn put it. Kara having recruited you from the DEO’s list of registered aliens because you are a Daxamite and she had yet to reconnect with Mon Ël.
“I-“ you know better than to lie.“ I knew long before we met. I work with her.”
It seems that’s the epitome of hurt for her, a single tear trailing down her cheek.
“Lena love I’m sorry I-”
Her hand raises, stopping you mid sentence,“ I can’t. Not now, just-”
You nod in understanding, moving to just a foot in front of her,“ I’ll go. And I’m sorry. Please know that.”
Lena says nothing and so you leave. Kara helping you since your body is still in pain, your heart now in the mix.
The blonde silently flies you to her apartment and the instant you land she apologizes. Kara knows you didn’t tell Lena for her.
“Hey, it’s fine. Um- I’m sure we’ll figure things out after everything cools down.”
Knowing that you’re also hurt by this situation, and that it’s partly her fault, Kara sticks by your side the whole night.
In the morning she advises you to take a day but you need the distraction. Only it doesn’t work out that way.
Instead of letting your work distract you from the situation, you let the situation distract you from your work. Which leads to your downfall.
While thinking of Lena, admittedly when you shouldn’t have been, you took a fairly nasty stab to the abdomen, by lead.
You feel yourself drifting in and out of consciousness as the lead takes a toll on your body.
“Y/n you’re going to be okay.” Alex’s calm and collected voice meets your ears and you nod exhaustedly.
As you’re being moved to medical you faintly hear Kara telling Alex what happened. That is before you go out for real this time.
How long you’re out for is unclear. You just know when you come to that one: you feel a hundred times better and two: there’s a person holding on to you.
Lena you quickly understand.
The woman’s lithe fingers trace circles on your side, just under your stab wound.
“If I say ‘hi’ would that be awkward?” You ask jokingly, pulling a soft chuckle from her that dies quickly.
A heavy sigh wracks her body,“ I’m glad you’re okay.”
You tighten your hold on her and say,“ and I’m glad you’re here, even though I fucked up.”
“Lying to me is not okay. But I do understand that it wasn’t you’re secret to tell.” She rises up to look you in the eyes.“ Admittedly I would’ve did the same thing.”
Brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear, you smile softly,“ does that mean I can come home?”
“Of course.” She leans down to press a kiss to your lips which effectively makes you smile.
Even though you definitely lied, which was wrong, both of you know your decision in keeping a secret that wasn’t yours to tell was right. And Lena wouldn’t hold that over you, she loves you far too much for that.

Lena Luthor x  Fem Alien R//Word Count: 1,237
You never considered yourself a genius. Not even back in your home planet, where a trait like intelligence was highly valued. On Earth, however, you seemed to surpass those standards and people recognized you usually by your brains. You even went to university, graduated at the top of your class, and managed to get an internship in one of the biggest companies of this world.
Working at L-Corp had been, so far, the best experience of your life. You were using that intelligence of yours to improve the lives of the good citizens of National City and, from week one, you started working with a team of engineers in a project. Not only that, you were working alongside Lena Luthor herself, and she was truly a genius. Equations, patterns, algorithms, and more, you were sure she could do them in her sleep.
Her natural intellect made you start admiring her and that admiration only grew over time. However, that transformed irremediably into a crush for her. She wasn't only smart, she was gorgeous, determined, and courageous and, if she wanted, she could kill a man with a single look...or with her own hands.
There was nothing you couldn't like about her and, thank gods, she seemed to like you back. She would stay late sometimes when you still had work to do, ask you to take the project reports to her office personally, and work close to you when you were about to test something in the labs. So, after some thinking, you decided to give it a try and ask her if she wanted to grab a cup of coffee with you sometime.
It was already late when you entered Lena's office. You were going to deliver one of your project reports and were mentally preparing yourself to ask her out. You opened her office's doors and tilted your head when you found her on her couch examining different devices.
"Lena?" You called her name. A smile appeared on her face when she turned to look at you.
"Please, come in, (Y/N). I'm just doing some small inventory." You walked towards her, looking with curiosity at the thing she hand over her coffee table. "These are some prototypes I had worked on." She explained. "You can have a closer look if you want."
"Wow, you have quite a collection here." You took one of them in your hand, a small gray device that looked like some kind of computer mouse. After you put your fingers on it, it turned red with a beep. "This one works, I think. What's it for?" You turned it on your hands, looking at it closely.
"It is an alien detection device." Lena said with a tone of shock on her voice. You redirected your attention at her, seeing her eyes scanning your face, with her eyes knitted in a frown. "You are an alien."
You were left speechless for a moment. "Yes, I...I am." You said cautious.
"And you didn't care to tell me? Why?" She rose from the couch and crossed her arms. You watched her shift to boss mood in a second.
You put the alien detector back on her table and sighed. "I'm sorry, I just didn't think it was that important."
"Not important?" She raised an eyebrow at you. "(Y/N), you have been working on this project since the beginning. This could compromise the whole research."
"Compromise?" You said confused. "I don't see how-"
"Last time I worked with an alien, there was an invasion in National City." She stated.
"Wait- What?" You narrowed your eyes. This whole situation had taken an unexpected turn. "You honestly think I'd do something like that? Work on this just for my own benefit?" You tried not to sound offended or hurt by the implication of her words but you did.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N). You're no longer part of this project." You saw a hint of doubt and regret pass through her eyes but it came and left in an instant. She had to remain form on her decision and you couldn't exactly argue with the boss.
You felt your body tense in frustration and decided it was time to leave the office. You took a deep breath, trying to calm yourself down and put the folder on the table.
"Here's the latest report, Miss Luthor. Goodnight." You said and turned around, before you could say something to make it worse.
Lena regretted that decision the next day, when she had to go to the labs to test a new algorithm and you weren't there to offer new ideas. She started to think pulling you out of the project had been a bad idea. Not only because you were the only one that could discuss new alternatives without sounding patronizing but because she had made that decision based on a single bad experience. Besides, she really liked you and you certainly had given her zero reason to be wary of you. She had to mentally slap herself in the face for that.
"Jess, I need you to call (Y/N) into my office, as soon as possible." She ended the call with Jess and went straight to her office after hanging up. She needed to speak with you.
Since you weren't working on that project anymore, you had spent half week helping with paperwork outside the labs and preparing coffee. You were still a bit anxious after what had happened with Lena and, when Jess called you saying Lena wanted to see you, you thought that would be the end of your internship. You entered her office an hour later, with a resigned look on your face.
"You wanted to see me, Miss Luthor?" It was hard seeing her in the eyes.
"(Y/N), yes." She rose from her chair behind her desk and invited you to take a seat on the couch instead. "I own you an apology, for what I said yesterday." She started and when you didn't say anything she continued. "I was wrong about what I said to you. Your participation in the project has always been important for the team and you being an alien is and shouldn't have been a problem. I hope you can accept my apologies and go back with the team."
You remained silent for a moment after she finished. Halfway through that you had finally looked at her. You guessed she had put some thoughts on it after those three days and she looked truly sorry for what she had said. You had already accepted her apology.
"Well, Miss Luthor...apology accepted." You cleared your throat and realized you also needed to apologize. "And I'm really sorry too, I should have said something."
"No, no, (Y/N)." She shook your head. "If you didn't tell me you were an alien, you must have had a reason. Seeing my own reaction to it, I understand why. And if there's something I can do to make up for it-"
"Have coffee with me?" You blurted out without thinking. "I mean, I would need some updates from the project and who better to explain what’s new than you. If you're...not busy, of course."
She smiled fondly at you. "I would love to. And please, just Lena." She patted your leg and got up from the couch. "I miss you calling me by my name." You couldn't help the bright smile or the faint blush in your cheeks. You didn't need to be a genius to know you were back on track with your projects.
