There's a post making the circles about fanfiction that really reaaaaally rubs me the wrong way. It's essentially arguing that fanfiction is a small subculture of the internet and shipping is a small niche subset of that, and it's on you if you walk into fandom spaces and complain about shipping which lol.

Like the first point, sure, but to call shipping a niche in fandom spaces is ridiculous. Gen is the niche in fandom. It is difficult to downright impossible to exist in fandom places without engaging (even unwillingly) with shipping, and it's questionable at best to claim the only reason that people might have problems with this is homophobia.

Like, don't frame this as if it's so easy to engage in fandom and avoid shipping, and then imply there's no reason people would want to engage in fandom besides shipping. Just tell me you don't care about aro people and go.

Reminder that this is coming up to air in Tokyo Revengers:

Reminder that this is how this shounen takes the leap and puts a LGBT storyline between two prominent, main-cast characters on screen. A messy storyline about overcoming confusion, letting go of old attachments and facing new feelings that remains relevant through to the end of the story, worked out as any other plot point. Not implied, but expressed in in-story written word and unambiguous visuals.

Again: in a shounen anime.

In a mainstream, dudes-punching-dudes anime series that airs on TV.

Regardless of whether one enjoys Koko and Inui as characters in particular, or the ship in itself, the fact that this happens / is able to happen (god, I hope it's not censored out) is important.

I can't stress enough how rare these things are.

I'm nervous, not gonna lie, these things hardly ever make it on-screen for reasons, but at the same time I trust Liden Films and how much care and respect they've put into Tokyo Revengers so far. Can't wait to see how it goes.

Okay Jesus fandom, I’m finally watching The Chosen. Admittedly I was skeptical going in but there’s this moment in the second episode where Jesus is at Shabbat dinner and he smiles and winks playfully, and I just…YES Jesus isn’t JUST suffering and duty and sacrifice. He’s playful, he’s prayerful, he’s divine yes but he’s also HUMAN. He’s my savior but he’s also my FRIEND.

Ok! So I have been sitting on this for a while because I've had absolutely no motivation to write. Please enjoy me writing about annoying kokonoi

Kokonoi x reader/bonten.

Summary: you decided today was just a day to annoy Koko by pronouncing shit wrong. Ran, rindou and sanzu also join in.

Network @tokyo-ballroom

- being kokonois secretary/ you tend to go almost everywhere with him.

- From meetings to running errands.

-we all know kokonoi is boujee

- kokonoi: bring me a bottle of water, but one that doesn't have any of those minerals added to taste

Y/N: they only had spring water

Kokonoi: NO! Get out

Y/N: I got it... EXTRA MINERALS.... Mmmmm cave water

Kokonoi: NOOOOOO. No cave water!

- He's yelling so loud it causes Ran, Rindou and Sanzu to peak in his office and see what's going on.

- they see you "torturing" Koko with the water.

- the three then decide on annoying him too. Starting to pronounce things wrong through out the day.

- Ran *walking up to Koko*: I see you're wearing them gooses today

Kokonoi :...what.... You mean Gucci?

Sanzu: I believe it's pronounced gukki

Kokonoi *rubbing his face*: get... get out now

Rindou *barely holding it together*: gussies

Later in the day after running some more errands

Y/N: Koko they didn't have the bolognagas that you wanted.

Kokonoi: the...what?..

Ran: Y'know Bolognese. The shoe that looks like a sock

Y/N: soooo we decided to get you some Crocs instead

Ran *slams them down on table* look we even got them in red!

Sanzu: they had cute little things to clip on them

Kokonoi: First of all Balenciaga... BA..LEN..CIAGAS.... Second if you don't get those off my desk I will shoot you all.
