The invitation
Pairing: yandere!Cassandra x reader
Warnings: possessive and obsessive behavior, kidnapping, unwanted kiss.
No, no, no, no.
You have received an invitation to hunt from the Kiramman clan. Meeting place: hunting lodge.
Your parents were glad of such a sudden outcome. They owned an ordinary small shop and did not have wealth. It was a gift of fate for them. Now your family could get a happy, comfortable life.
«Mom, Dad, can I not go?» You ask quietly, watching the smiles of parents disappear from their faces.
«Why such a decision all of a sudden?» They ask in unison. «Life gives you such an opportunity, and you refuse? If we were you, we would seize this opportunity and not let go. You're going and it's not up for discussion.»
Having closed the topic for conversation, they left, leaving you alone with your thoughts. You continued to look at the invitation with tear-stained eyes, the very sight of which immediately brought up your last visit to Mrs. Kiramman.
It could have been completely unremarkable visit if Mrs. Councilor hadn't decided to treat you to alcohol.
A month earlier.
You are already used to how willingly Cassandra invites you to her house and with what pleasure she conducts a conversation with you. However, today she arrived in an even better mood than usual.
You were sitting in her office and drinking tea with sweets, talking about all sorts of little things, and then she casually told you about a bottle of wine that she had purposely postponed until a better moment.
«Y/n, have you ever drunk this wine?» Taking the prepared bottle out of the drawer, Cassandra asked.
«No, not once.» Without even thinking, you answer. The wine was imported and expensive, so you just couldn't afford it.
«I'll give you a try.» A woman smiles, coming up to you with a filled tank.
You watch how impressively she approaches you, how calmly she sits down next to you and how she drinks wine from a glass and puts it on the table. Her gloved right hand gently strokes your cheek, dropping to your chin and lifting it. The left hand buries itself in your hair, playing with them. The woman herself goes down and kisses you, giving you a taste of the tart liquid.
At first you get lost and do nothing, just trying to realize what is happening. However, after the shock and horror gripped you. In fear, you abruptly push her away and choke on wine, jump up from the sofa and even without looking in the direction of the councilor, run away.
«Y/n, wait!»
A month has passed since that moment and throughout that time you deliberately avoided her. Of course you loved her, but not the way she did. Besides, she had a husband and a daughter. So why?
During this month, you received a lot of letters and requests from her, which you hid from your parents and ignored. However, you didn't have time to hide this invitation, and now you were waiting with horror for the impending hunt.
The day of hunting turned out to be quite cloudy and cold. Dressed warmly, you went to the meeting place. The only thing that could not but please you is that there will be other people besides the two of you.
As soon as you arrived and went into the house, you were happy to find that Cassandra was standing in a crowd of important people and telling something. However, her gaze immediately caught on you and after a couple of minutes she was free and standing next to you. You backed away.
«Shhh, don't be scared, I won't do it again, not without your permission.» Mrs. Kiramman gently hugged you, afraid of scaring you off. «It's my mistake, I shouldn't have rushed. I thought you were ready.» She whispered to you, stroking your back soothingly.
«Mrs. Kiramman, I don't think I'll ever be ready for such intimacy with you…»
«Don't be silly» Her grip became stronger, but soon she let you go. «We should go back inside or you might get sick.»
After the last hunt, you couldn't bring yourself to meet her even more, even though you understood that she wouldn't do anything in front of people. You lied to your parents, saying that you got sick after hunting. You even wrote the same thing to Cassandra, hoping that it would stop all her invitations. And so it happened.
However, next week the Councilor honored you and your family with her visit. She came in late at night right after the meeting. After exchanging a few words with your parents, she went to your room. You froze in amazement.
«Mrs. Kiramman, what are you doing here?»
«Call me Cassandra. I came to check on you and give you the medicine.» Sitting down on the bed, the woman took out a bottle and handed it to you. «It's not strong, but it's effective.»
Realizing that there is no way out, you uncertainly take the medicine and drink it. A minute later, you are pierced by a sharp pain in your lungs and you immediately start coughing, your head is spinning, all sounds are moving away, and everything is double in your eyes. You look at her with horror, and you look for support with your hands, grabbing the sheets and the blanket.
«Be patient a little, it will all be over soon.» She promised sympathetically, kissing you on the forehead and leaving the room.
Your parents burst into your room almost immediately after she left, they started frantically collecting your things. They were led by Cassandra, saying what things could be useful in the hospital. You fainted.
You woke up on your way to the hospital as it seems to you. You were riding with her, your parents weren't there. The head was still spinning and the fever seemed to have intensified.
«What's going on? Why did you poison me and now you're taking me to the hospital?» You were trembling all over, and your eyes were watering, you had two blankets on you, restraining your movements.
«Hush, darling, it's okay, we're going home.» Cassandra looked confident and calm, but you could tell by her slightly pursed lips that she was worried. «You need to sleep.»
«But I don't want to sleep. I want to know what's going on.»
Lie. You were terribly sleepy. Your eyes ached and closed limply, but you were afraid to lose sight of her, afraid of her actions.
«I will definitely explain as soon as you feel better, but in the meantime, don't torture yourself. We have a long way to go.»
You glanced nervously out the window. And to your horror you discovered that the landscape was not familiar to you.
«Where are we going?» You repeat the question fearfully.
