He was sitting at his desk, working on some paper as he was the Acting Grand Sage now. He was so busy that he didn’t spend time with you for the last few days. But you knew how to get his attention, and you were sure that it would work.

You arrived from behind him without making too much noise, and you let your cold hands rest on his neck. It surprised him, he couldn’t say otherwise, as he slightly jumped on his chair at the touch. He quickly looked behind him, frowning a bit as he met your gaze and your proud smile.

“I’m busy,” he said, “and I’m cold,” you answered him without any hesitation. He knew what you were trying to do, and it simply made him sighed discreetly. He had work to do and he wasn't going to stop right now ; but he wouldn’t brush you away either. So he let you warm up your hands against his skin, as he kept working.

You were sitting on the couch, rubbing your hands together as you were trying to warm them up. They were so cold, as always, and it almost started to hurt you. When Kaveh came home after some time, he saw you there, slightly shaking.

He came quickly closer to you, a bit worried because he knew you were frequently cold. He sat right next to you, grabbing your hands between his. He slowly brought them closer to his lips so he could softly blow his warm breath against your skin.

“Are you okay? Is it working?” he asked you, raising his eyes to meet your gaze. You couldn’t help but to smile slightly at how adorable he was with you. Always so caring about your cold hands: it warmed your heart.

Cyno

Cyno was laying in your shared bed, sleeping peacefully ; or at least trying to sleep. You were right next to him, bundled up in the blanket. You were so cold right now, almost shivering, and you couldn’t understand how your boyfriend was sleeping without any problem.

You looked at him, when an idea crossed your mind. A smirk appeared on your lips before you brought your feet closer to him. You put them right against his back, making him jump slightly in surprise.

“What the-” he turned his head, trying to look at you as you started to giggled softly. It was even funnier than you expected, and your feet were feeling warmer. Cyno was a real radiator. He sighed a bit, before turning completely around to face you. He opened his arms and you almost rushed against him, hiding your face in his neck. You were feeling way better now.

“You should wear warmer clothes,” he said, frowning as he saw you going out in such light clothes. You looked at him in disbelief, you didn’t expect such a reaction from him. Your boyfriend was always concerned by your health, worrying too much about your whole problem with the cold.

“I’m fine Nari, it’s just my hands,” you told him as you showed him your hands, a little smile on your lips. He came closer to you, grabbing your hands between his to examine them. He looked back into your gaze, before shaking his head slowly.

“Here, wear this,” he holded gloves out to you, waiting for you to take and wear them. You rolled your eyes but didn’t fight back. With Tighnari, it was completely useless. He would never let you go out without being sure that you would be warm.

It was his way of taking care of you as he could. Health was his domain, so protect your health was the least he could do.

alhaitham waking up with the cutest bed hair as he went out from his room to sit on the living room, and you walked up to him to comb over it from behind as he sat in a daze blinking away the sleep although the comfort of your hand almost made him dozed off again.

lying down on kaveh’s lap or vice versa as you tell him about your day and he told his, somehow you both were always in the best mood so it could took hours, with all the laughing and giggles.

watching movies as you three cramped down on a couch with you in the middle. and somehow they always fell asleep mid-way instead on either side of you forcing you to sleep there as well since there’s no way you had the energy to move two grown ass man. but somehow the next morning you always found yourself waking up in your own room, tucked in with your blanket and all that.

playing with kaveh’s hair all the time; braiding it when he’s so focused on making his latest project, putting it on a pony tail as it often get in the way. sometimes he’ll even ask you to style it when he was getting ready to go out.

clothes. stealing. “(y/n), have you seen my white shirt anywhere?” alhaitham asked as he walked to your room, “yes, i’m wearing it right now!” you said. he just sighed, not even surprised in the slightest. yet he let you all the time. or sometimes it’s not even clothes anymore. you’d find your blanket you’ve been searching for with kaveh randomly. “you smell nice, okay?” he made an excuse. “this entire household uses the same detergent, kaveh.”

when you hover around the kitchen, in an attempt to make dinner and not long after both of them came and would offer help without any prompting whatsoever. the help was in fact an exchange for a peaceful time since alhaitham and kaveh would argue about the better method to do literally anything. you’d let out the most terrifying sigh, that’s somehow always audible to both of them then went to stare them dead in the eye. “behave.” you narrowed our eyes. “yes (y/n).”

getting ready to go out at night for a quick trip to buy a snack and they would never let you a step out of the door alone. “i’m going out for a bit, okay?” you said as you put on a jacket. “sure.” “alright.” and then they got up from whatever they were doing as they grab their coat. “but i didn’t-“ kaveh didn’t let you finish as he grab your arm, pulling you out of the house as alhaitham locked the door behind him.

reading with alhaitham. though the contents of your books maybe very different you both just enjoyed the shared quiet time. sometimes one of you would prepare a coffee or tea for the other without even needing to ask. sometimes you’d lean on his side, to try to find a better reading position and he just welcome you as he chuckled a little at your restlessness.

you literally being the only one who gets a pass giving them an unprompted sudden hug just because you wanted to. alhaitham would knew that you’re up to no good by your mischievous smile. “what?” he asked in suspicion, and you just hugged him. alhaitham didn’t react strongly as he had expected this was one of many outcome from your actions. his blank expression broke into a the slightest smile as he gently pat your head. “there are better ways to ask for this, don’t you think?” he said with the softest tone you couldn’t help but melt. with kaveh he just returned the hug just as enthusiastically, practically squeezing you—although not to an extent that it would hurt. his hands would meet at your back, giving you back scratches and the most comfortable hug someone could give. “you’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” you could hear the smile as he said it. “mhhmm.” you hummed, as you closed your eyes.

the light of the ksharewar & the light of ur life shows you love mostly in these two languages. don’t get me wrong there are a mix up of the other languages too but these have the higher percentage. kaveh loves to spoil you, use his artistic, architectural skills to impress you or just invest his time in doing something for you that’d make you happy. it could range from a simple sketch he made; or a full blown 3-d design of your dream house. physical touch is a must for him, he needs to be touching you at all costs. a nimble hand caressing your waist, while talking. hand holding when you both are walking together, when you are beside him he will put his hand on your thigh. <3 101 my man i love him sm!

ayato: acts of service & quality time

waka 🥺🤍 our dearest waka shows love mostly in acts of service. he just wants to be of use to you. wants you to share your burdens with him. it can range from handling the meagre chores for you by his staff, or listening to something that is bothering you mentally. ayato is dedicated towards one thing & one thing only and that is how can he be of service to his beloved. <3 he needs you to depend on him. please depend on him 😤 quality time on the other hand— you and waka rarely get to spend time together because of his hectic schedule, so this inturn becomes something he yearns for naturally. whenever he is free, he will be found beside you, cuddling, talking to you about mundane things. maybe planning something only the two of you could enjoy. but he will be found by your side. <3

cyno: acts of service and physical touch

it goes without saying that the general mahamatra would show his deep, unending love towards you with acts of service. knowing him, cyno would make sure that whatever you need should be presented to you in a silver platter. he just wants to be useful. if he is useful to the akademiya it is about time he must fulfill the duties of being the best significant other for you. whatever you want can be handled just say the word. physical touch is a must, even though cyno is barely clad, and BECAUSE he is barely clad, the warmth of your body against his chest when he hugs you is all he needs after a long day. you just need to sit on his lap, hugging him tightly while he kisses your forehead, asks you about your day, tells you how annoying his own day was. also tells you he can’t tell you the details of his mission because he was the general mahamatra and you don’t deserve to see that side of him.

scaramouche: words of affirmation & acts of service

scara’s love language is definitely words of affirmation. as weird as it sounds, i think he would make sure to handle all your insecurities, doubts, weird thoughts & anxieties tenderly like a caregiver. he has been through enough already & he just wants to give you the whole world. his secret love language is annihilating people who annoy you :3 /lh but you know 🤷🏼‍♀️ he can be quite vocal about things like. “i’m here for you, not just now, but always little one,” acts of service -> because he needs to make sure you are taken care of, his deep needs to protect you from harm brings this side of him out. sometimes you don’t even have to lift a finger and he is out there, ensuring whatever you want gets done. <3

Kaveh is so damn empathetic, he absolutely dotes on you, and that's on a normal day

On days when you're sensory overloaded, he's doing his absolute best to provide you with everything you need

Quiet? Soft things? Consider it done. Him night bickering with Alhaitham? he and 'Haitham have decided that in order to not make you miserable, they'll call a truce when you're overwhelmed

Sometimes Kaveh can get a little overwhelming (and anxious) himself in his attempts to make sure you have everything you need, so a "Kaveh, I'm fine. I just need some time alone" goes a long way

But otherwise he's really, really sweet and you love him for it

Baizhu

Bubu Pharmacy is a safe haven when you're overloaded

Baizhu gave you permission to use a back room any time you needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of Liyue Harbor

He also makes sure that you have something to take the edge off of any headaches

If you're not at the pharmacy and he finds you overwhelmed, he's one to gently but firmly shoo off any people around you before taking you somewhere more conducive to your mental health

His steady presence always helps ground you, making it easier to handle

On a side note, he's definitely using your issues to study issues like yours. After spending so much time with you and seeing you get overwhelmed and burnt out, he doesn't want anyone else to suffer from the same thing

› but he never fails to make you happy with his ideas that can get quite creative, ayato simply knows you too well. but this time, he opted for something classic

‘be ready by 8pm.’ those were the only words you got from him this morning.

you had been going through the day completely ignoring what he had planned for you. this man was pretty creative and well he was powerful too so he rarely —not to say he never— failed to accomplish his goals.

you kept on asking yourself what idea he had this year, because it’s been a few years that you two knew each other, and he never forgot that day.

not once.

you scrolled through your feed on various social media until you heard the door ringing. a smile appeared on your face right away, thinking of your man behind the door waiting for you.

so of course you couldn’t hide your disappointment when seeing one of ayato’s close friends standing in front of you.

‘ayato asked me to bring you to a place.’ he only said, not specifying the address. but of course, ayato liked to surprise you and it would ruin everything if you knew the destination which is why you managed to stop yourself from asking where you were going.

he drove you for about twenty minutes. luckily you knew him enough so that it wasn’t uncomfortable to talk. and eventually, you didn’t see time passing and quickly arrived.

you opened the door and recognized the place right away.

it was probably a simple, classic park to some people. but to you, this place had a special meaning. a special meaning for you and ayato.

‘there you are, my dear’ he said, turning around to look at you walking towards him after he heard the engine sound approaching.

ayato was sitting on the grass. of course that man didn’t sit on it directly, he had put a little sheet on the ground so that his clothes and yours wouldn’t get dirty.

you joined him, and threw yourself into his arms, not able to deal with even the slightest distance separating the two of you anymore.

ayato was offering you lots of gifts, because yeah, it was indeed one of his love languages to make you happy by buying anything they could bring up a smile on your beautiful face.

but to see him today, with food he assured he did cook himself —even though he actually had some help with it— only for you on a simple date in the park you both kissed for the first time; it truly felt magical.

‘happy birthday y/n. i still love you as much as that day.’ he whispered. you were the only ones on the park today, but there was something about seeing him lowering his voice when confessing his love to you.

as if you were the only one able to hear those words, and you were.

KAVEH

› your birthday is something kaveh takes really seriously. he’s always getting excited a few days before the day

› sometimes you even ask yourself whether it is your birthday or his for him to get so enthusiastic about it

› so when your birth day approached and kaveh realized it, he got back to be all cheerful, with a smile never ever leaving his face

you just woke up from a long and good night and the first thing you did was to check your phone right away to see if you had received messages.

you liked to pretend you didn’t care but it actually made you really happy to see how many people though of your birthday.

multiple texts.

as much on your phone than on your social media accounts. indeed lord of people thought of you. but not him.

kaveh didn’t text. which was really unlike him because he usually was one of the first. he called you every year, and even sang you the song because as much as you liked to tell him how awkward he sounded, he knew you loved it when he did.

but this year nothing.

the day kept on passing and still no text. your day wasn’t ruined because of it, but it definitely wasn’t as good as you thought it would be.

after thinking for a while you decided to simply call him, because you knew him and if he didn’t wish it to you, then there must be a reason to it. perhaps he was sick or unwell. or perhaps he was even in danger. but there was no way that man hyped you up for this day during the past few weeks only to forget it now that it came.

since he didn’t respond to your calls, you’ve decided to go and see him at his place. you knew he didn’t mind when you came without asking.

he cared about you a lot, and you cared for him too. so of course you couldn’t end the day without knowing what he had been doing.

you knocked twice on the front door and his roommate opened to you. his arms crossed against his chest, he greeted you politely but quickly went back to his book on the living-room.

you two were used to see each other a lot by now so he didn’t even think of asking the reason of your presence and at least it did confirm that kaveh was here which reassured you.

you knocked on his door and since there was no response you opened it and entered his room only to find him, head drowning into his arms on his desk.

you looked all around him, there were multiple papers, on his lap, on the floor and on the bin. you took a quick glance at it before spotting your name on some of them.

‘kaveh, wake up’ you whispered into his ears and to that he only hummed. ‘mhhh let me sleep alhaitham, I need to finish y/n gift and letter by 6.’

you blushed a bit on reading some of the words that were written.

he had been spending his day writing a love letter to you. but judging by the amount of papers spread everywhere around him, he wasn’t satisfied with his choice of words.

‘he saved money for your gift but couldn’t resist the charity. in the end he didn’t have enough money to buy you anything.’

alhaitham spoke up from behind you almost making you jump. yo that he bowed his head, apologizing. ‘he worked on that letter until 9 am but i guess he fell asleep. happy birthday y/n.’ he said before leaving.

that man truly had a natural talent to appear out of nowhere and leave to that same place again.

but he confirmed you one thing tonight. kaveh had not forgotten, he was simply trying hard to make you a great gift with his own means.

and to know kaveh genuinely loved you to the point of staying up all night working on a letter that could make you happy, was more than enough to save the day.

‘we’re you sleeping ? sorry aha..’ he added but that man was not sorry at all, he was enjoying his victory. it’s been several years that he was always the first to think of you and he didn’t want it to stop.

you kept on talking for a few seconds but he interrupted you. ‘come at your window y/n and look outside.’

you could hear his smile in his intonation. obviously he succeeded with whatever was his plan you thought.

you waved at him and he waved back at you. ‘don’t move alright.’

his voice was pretty calm yet hiding some excitement as if he was about to do something really big. you looked at him walking around your huge garden and running back towards your garage.

‘what are you-‘ you tried to ask him, but he stopped you right away, only telling you to look at the sky, which you did right away. you had a little idea of what was about to show up, but you couldn’t realize it because it truly seemed too crazy.

but nothing was too much for childe as long as it was to make his significant other the happiest ever for a short period of time.

your eyes got full of sparkles when spotting fireworks popping up in the sky. the noise wasn’t aggressive since it were small ones and you were inside your house with all your windows and door closed anyway.

you were amazed.

that man truly did it, he managed to surprise you even though it’s already been multiple years that he tried to be more original than the previous. and today, he did.

all of the fireworks didn’t really work, only some of them managed to actually pop up. but it was still giving you the warm feeling that you were loved, and it was enough.

‘i’m.. not sure it is legal you know.’ you said these words but you didn’t care a lot actually. this man just offered you a private firework show to celebrate your day, of course you weren’t going to think about anything other than the proud smile on his face when your eyes drowned in his through the window.

‘who cares, yoimiya made me a price only for you.’ he added through the phone.

you kept on looking at the sky for a moment until you spotted the lights turning on one by one slowly in your neighborhood. the noise probably woke them up you thought, then you looked down at childe who was still standing on your garden, hands in his pockets, admiring his gift.

‘come inside the house, they’ll get you arrested.’ you quickly pulled him over to your house, and wuickly closed the door.

the fireworks stopped by the time and now the only sight you had was one on the boy who had been in love with you forever and showed it once again tonight.

‘you’re so dumb.’ you bursted out in laughter and he quickly joined you.

now you were both standing in the middle of your room, plunged in the dark, trying hard not to laugh too loud so that your family wouldn’t wake up.

he kissed your forehead gently. his lips were cold but his embrace still felt warm like a home. you kept his body against yours. the embrace could last the whole night you thought, because you would not be letting him go after this.

thinking about kaveh feeding a lost scarab on a lonely winter day…

winters in sumeru don't contain snowy days, but it does get colder significantly.

it's enough for kaveh to replace his usual attire with thicker coats and sweaters.

he'd be cleaning the shared apartment of him and alhaitham on one of his days off and then he sees a weak little scarab crawling by the window sill, its wings twitching slightly.

i just know he'll contemplate whether he should throw it away but deep down his princess heart wants to nurse it back to health and release it back to the desert.

"my, how did you even get here?" he'll mumble to himself.

he watches his surroundings to check if alhaitham is home, and when he's sure that he's not yet there, he'll sneak into his library and find some books about bugs.

he'll look for a way to feed it and when he does find a way, he'll also make it a little home filled with sand he bought from the market, a small hollowed log and some pebbles for decoration.

when alhaitham comes home and finds out, he's most likely gonna tell him to give up since it's not gonna live long anyway.

"wow, what an insensitive thing to say." kaveh would complain, raising his voice a little. he turns to the scarab and coos (yes he will treat it like his child) at it, earning a disapproving look from alhaitham.

"it's just an insect-"

"insects are animals too!"

"fine. do what you want." he sighs, resigning back to his room.

remember what i said about releasing it back to the wild?

that never happened. kaveh grew attached and eventually kept it as a pet.

he'll feed it lettuce and some pruned dates, because the thought of catching smaller bugs for food unsettles him.

knowing him, he'll replace the log with a small tent similar to what eremites use, so that the bug would have shelter.

kaveh knew that alhaitham was right ーthe bug would not live long, but somehow he ignored that because he wanted it to enjoy its last days amidst the cold winter season.

yeah. he will bawl his eyes out when it dies

alhaitham would probably mumble an "i told you so." and kaveh would shut him up.

weeks after, when the days grew warmer, kaveh would come home to find a scarab figurine placed on his desk

it was totally not given by alhaitham 😂

as the title says; im having a brainrot of those two sillies so bear with me (i haven't written anything for ages now)

they listen to taylor swift (yes she exists in every world) together. kaveh sings “the way i loved you” to alhaitham; even though alhaitham says he doesn’t like it he actually loves when kaveh sings to him. ofc kaveh knows it

if someone ever asks alhaitham what he listens most throughout the day, he’d say some classical music. but the real answer is actually “enchanted” by taylor swift. its because this song reminds of kaveh. he is so whipped istg

whenever they’re both home, they cook together !! well i mean, its mostly haitham doing the cooking and kaveh just being pretty & him doing food-tasting.

after alhaitham became the grand sage, he tends to forget eating because of his workload. so kaveh brings him lunch to his office at the akademiya.

at first, alhaitham’s secretary would always ask him before they let kaveh in. but after some time, they just stopped asking & let kaveh come in without even lifting their head. kaveh was getting annoyed anyways lol

alhaitham is the only person who can interrupt kaveh while he is working & get his ass to home when he overworks himself. even though he has tons of workload; when the time gets late, haitham knows when to stop for the day. so he always finds kaveh completely drown in his work only to make him stop & have him take a break.

we all know that their bickering is famous all around sumeru. but after they got together, even though their bickering didn’t stop, the affectionate gestures has started.

still to this day, people of sumeru couldn’t find out if they are together or not. one day, a brave & a young soul tried to ask kaveh about their relationship status. kaveh being the cheeky mf, he answered his question with a question: “what do you think, huh?” he winked.

their friendgroup of course knows that they’re together but whenever they’re approached with the questions “are they together? , are they friends? do they still live together?” etc etc; they never respond to those questions.

one time tighnari would say “yes they are together” and the other time cyno would say “wdym, they are not together ofc”. kaveh and cyno are having way too much fun by confusing the poor souls.

yes they force tighnari and alhaitham to play along with their antics. yes i do not make the rules.

they go on picnic dates on weekends !!! sometimes they ask their friends to come, sometimes they just ask nahida & wanderer to accompany them. even though wanderer complains when he gets asked, he always agrees. he doesn’t have the heart to say no to nahida. (he loves spending time with kaveh & aihaitham idc. those four are a family together)

when kaveh brings his work to home, alhaitham accompanies him by reading his book while kaveh works. yes their love language is quality time.

kaveh gets jealous way too easily than haitham and he does not hold himself back to when it comes to showing his emotions. alhaitham may be the silent type but we all know that he is a one possesive fucker when it comes to kaveh.

he knows kaveh gets all the eyes on him whenever he enters the room. he also knows that kaveh loves the attention. but what he also knows is that kaveh loves his attention the most.

he knows how possesive alhaitham is, so some days (especially when he gets jealous of him) he tries alhaitham to his limits. we can all guess what happens when they get home after those days ;)

alhaitham braids kaveh’s hair !! they get into a routine & every morning haitham braids his hair. kaveh knows perfectly well how to style his hair but he loves when haitham is the one doing it.

Kaveh, just as his looks give the impression of, is a high maintenance person. As such, this extends to his friendships too.

Groggy and whiny in the morning, Alhaitham always makes a jab at how long he takes to prepare when the two show up late to class or to meetings. It’s a never ending cycle, especially with the two. They bicker back and forth, though Alhaitham is more calm and collected, not caring much– but Kaveh… oh it doesn’t take skilled empathy to Tell BE is heated and very passionate, even if the topic is on the paper towels they use for the house.

As your bond with him grows closer and closer, you begin to realize this behavior of his has been infecting your relationship too. Going out for coffee and dessert, he will scrunch his nose at your choice of drink, sigh at your choice of ice cream.

And no matter how many explanations you give to explain your system, he will not take it. “Listen, if a place cannot even make something as basic as vanilla ice cream, then they cannot do anything at all!”

He just rolls his eyes and quietly consumes his orders and soon enough chatter and joy falls onto your table once more, his attitude forgotten for the remainder of the time.

You realize the notion under all this a little too late when you come over to their place and see for yourself how he redecorated Alhaitham’s room, on study nights when he orders food for all of you. Yet when asked about the truth, he stammers and laughs it off with a blush but you know better now, and understand the lack of care in Alhaitham’s reactions.

Because when you’re his cared ones, you all deserve the best of the best. “Alright the lack of aesthetic in that ungodly wall furniture aside, have you seen the material it’s made of? It’s a disrespect to all furniture and proper craftsmen who create their art by hand.”

“If you must give yourself rotten teeth, at least eat a cake to match your looks—“ he mutters under his breath, stopping his words a bit too late.

Cooing in closer to his side, you nudge him with your shoulder, bringing the fork to his lips: “A cake to match my looks huh? Well then, open up and tell me how this one tastes, and whether it matches or not.”

A/N: I hope you guys enjoy whatever this is while i try to come up with more ideas 😵‍💫

Alhaitham:

I feel like he would smell more earthy than anything

Occasionally you'll get a whiff of a new book, but in my mind he usually smells like the outdoors

He also kinda smells like caramel

Kaveh:

Peaches and wood

I feel like he would use peach scented soaps and lotions, so that's where I got that from

For the wood, all i can say is that he's an architect

Diluc:

Musk and finely aged wine

Makes sense considering he owns a winery and all that

Only thing is, you can rarely smell the musk since it's usually overridden by the scent of alcohol

Kazuha:

Air.

Occasionally you'll smell salt water since he is on a ship most of the time

But other than that he literally just smells like air (clean air tho, not the dirty kind)

Zhongli:

Tea/coffee and old books

The kind of drink you smell on him is usually dependent on the day since sometimes he favors one over the other

And I feel like he spends a lot of time reading older books and all that which is where the old book smells comes into play
