With Halloween coming around and even though only Coraline and ParaNorman are kid horror films, The Boxtrolls and Kubo and the Two Strings do have some scary-like scenes. The Laika Kids is also a well liked crossover when it comes to Laika Studio's young child protagonists, Coraline Jones, Norman Babcock, Eggs Trubshaw and Kubo, it only seems right that I do a crossover collage on them.

Drew a civilian Kubo yesterday (Kubo loves wearing cute stuff)

After seeing people place, Hiro, Miguel and Kubo together, I decided to do the same. The Two Strings of Hero Coco is the name that I gave this crossover (along with Big Hero Coco Strings and Coco Hero Strings), since I have no idea what the name that the first Hiro/Miguel/Kubo crossover artists have given it.

Has this template been done yet for the Laika kids? If not, well here ya go. Just another game of monopoly where Coraline and Wini absolutely kicks Norman, Kubo, and Wybie's losing butts.

This is some really old art from the beginning of this summer. Around the same time I fell into the BEF fandom, I was experimenting with my tablet, transitioning from traditional art to digital art. So... it looks like I’m not getting out of edgy cartoon hell any time soon, so here’s my contribution character to the BEF fandom, because it’s hella enjoyable.

Meet MoonKing!Kubo, everybody. There’s no official Bad End(TM) version of him as far as I know, and I did want to see more bad end LAIKA characters alongside Mother Widow. But just so y’all know, MoonKing!Kubo isn’t necessarily bad in nature. He’s more... stressed out. More specifically, being a king can wear out someone stuck being a kid forever, and it usually doesn’t end on a very healthy note if that trend continues. Kubo still tries his best, though, he’s just dying inside. In all honesty, it’s more of a bittersweet ending; or a “Bittersweet-End-But-Can-Also-Be-Pushed-In-The-Wrong-Direction-If-Something-Goes-Wrong-It’s-Just-Teetering-On-A-Cliff.” It totally qualifies, you can’t change my mind.

I’m also planning on putting up an updated design with better quality. Maybe a few minicomics surrounding this au.
