It's always bothered me that when people adapt Kafka's Metamorphosis they depict Gregor Samsa as a roach. Cockroaches do not undergo metamorphosis. They are born as nymphs which are just smaller wingless versions of the adult form.

Kafka writes that Gregor can only enjoy rotten food. Which also makes him not at all roach-like. Roaches strongly prefer fresh vegetables to rotten ones.

And, of course, he gets stuck on his back, not something roaches struggle with nearly as much as beetles.

That's why always imagined him as a beetle. Which implies that the man Gregor was a larvae for all his pre-bug life. I thought that was the whole point of the story... We're all grubs, but Gregor reached the next stage though sadly none of the grubs in his family could understand him.

Someone called TFP Shockwave a Scalie cause of his whole Predacon obsession in Prime and my brain conjured up him just chasing Kaiju No. 8's Kafka like an obsessive schoolgirl crush. Don't exactly know where the 32 year old got into said predicament only that Shockers seeing his Kaiju jumpstarts the madness.

Poor Kafka(alongside everyone else) is just confused while Shockwave wants to learn more about this 'special human'. On one hand funniest possible crackship with a shit ton of shenanigans tied in while the other is Shockers trying to make an impromptu bride. Might even add Predaking for extra shit and giggles.

I fully believe the bloke's Kaiju side is gonna attract the Predacon's attention. Plus the comical image of Kafka saving the Predacon clones although they become Sparklings and imprint on the man being a funnier reason for Predaking to pursue. Hey I like chaos in different flavors.

Plus Kafka did say he wanted to be a bride so here's the opportunity LMAO.

sissia of the central nation moment of doubt when kisa meets tanakamigi's eyes in the audience. cut to an imitation of tokyo ghoul re 144, except instead of a round table of kaneki kens, it's kisa tachibana with all the roles she ever played

alternatively. if jack jeanne wasn't sticking to otome genre conventions, they could've done the "good morning" scene with neji later in the game, around the final performance rehearsals, and have the round table of kisas coach her on how to say more variations of "good morning" while kisa has an identity crisis. additional layer of mukai and charles vs maiden and chicchi on the gender axis. unifying the round table of kisas is how she moves forward into her role as sissia/"jack jeanne"

we could've had the ultimate writing and voice acting exercise of kisa talking to herself as maiden/mukai/charles/chicchi and we the player immediately know who is who. but, alas

If someone asked what's the most cracked idea I can come up with in a few minutes. Well...

Kaiju No.8's Kafka Hibino and Optimus Prime from Transformers are in an open marriage. RE Leon Scott Kennedy wants to join but is completely oblivious that he can until told. Knack, Rayman and Rabbid Kanya are the three adopted children in said marriage.

Everyone is basically the vigilante version of monster hunters but also clean up crew. Kill kaiju and then handle the mess before others appear. Like I said pure crack that can be treated with some seriousness or not.

Blame this on a mix of poor sleep schedule and being stuck on a boat in the hot sun for hours today. Don't regret it though. Except the tagging.
