i honestly don't get the weird dislike towards yang making puns, let alone thinking it's fanon.

like.... she makes puns in the show. that's canon, baby, she didn't say robyn had a handy semblance as a fact lol. just because she's not making them left and right doesn't mean she doesn't make them at all; weiss even says "but you do it!" when she's met with yang's disapproval for her own pun, pretty damn heavily implying that it's a consistent thing for yang, and not a "once in a blue moon" thing.

and while not canon, both the smite and paladins crossovers include joke voicelines for yang that are all pretty much puns, so you'd think that it—yang liking puns—is an intended character trait since the whole point of these crossovers is to get people interested in these characters and to watch the show, and you don't do that by mischaracterizing them.

yes, she's not making them in every episode, let alone every volume, but that's because it's not necessarily the tone the show overall or just specific scenes are going for—though if it was up to me i would absolutely take yang making bad puns and jokes every other episode rather than another over-the-top "funny" bit... but that's just me.

The Fenton parents have lost custody. Do to unsafe living conditions. Danny ends up being placed in the system. Jazz did not qualify to take him in.

The adults in the realm were not pleased. Offering to house him in the realm. Danny refuses. They demand a monthly check in at minimum.

That went fine until the foster parents handed him over to the GIW. They got a reward and Danny’s existence in their home wiped.

Danny doesn’t want to think about what’s going to happen if he meets check in. The last two had been them telling him they didn’t approve of the home. They were about ready to force him in the realm.

Red hood bust into the government lab the last day he could check in. Danny full on panics obviously Jason thinks it’s because he was locked up. But nope Danny’s worried frostbite, pandora and crew are gonna busy into the human realm to find him.

Now it’s a race to one of Jason’s safe house because if Danny doesn’t pretend to be somewhere safe it’s gonna be bad. Especially if they found out the GIW had him. Add in the experiments and it gets even better. A hoodie could hide the injuries for the check in.

No one believes him when he says he’s fine. That Danny has been crashing there after taking the realms advice and ditching the foster home.

Frostbite tells the two that they’d be doing weekly check ins now. That Danny can’t be trusted and if anything happened that isn’t handled before they find out it will be dire. Dire for the world of the living.

Now Danny is staying with Jason. They have to commit to the bit until the GIW are handled.

It becomes permanent.

i would say one of the most neurodivergent moments in my life was in 7th grade history when we were taking a little quiz on Ancient Greece and an extra credit question our teacher gave us was 'Name 3 Greek gods'

and boi let me tell you

I took that instruction and ran with it and kept listing Greek gods until i had filled up the whole back space and we ran out of time in class. There was honestly like 30 names or something that i had listed. I was so excited for that test and that segment in our curriculum because i could finally talk about my hyperfixation and use it to get a good grade, like it was easy as fuck.

and then later i had found out that my teacher had came up to my mom one day and told her that i had listed some gods that even he didn't know about.

obviously i got the extra credit and the vindication was worth it

All I’m saying is that in the supernatural universe, I firmly believe that the most popular destiel fics are written and posted by one Sam Winchester under a pen name. And he doesn’t even come up with elaborate plots. He just dictates, almost verbatim, interactions he witnesses Cas and Dean having and then just tacks a kiss or a love confession on the end.

And everyone comments about how he just gets their characters, how he builds such convincing sexual and romantic tension, how the characters feel like real people instead of words on a page. Sam is the most popular destiel ao3 author, his fics on every single rec list, and it’s simply because he got tired of watching Dean and Cas pine uselessly for each other so he decided to make it everyone’s problem.

do you think that becoming a content creator is worth the negatives that could come with it? (i guess im just conflicted as to if I really want to attempt this when so much could go wrong, if that makes any sense.)

content creation is truly the best job in the world, you’re your own boss and you’re able to talk to people from around the world and create cool things for people to see and it is just genuinely brilliant as it’s brought me to my favourite people in the world

however, with content creation follows the internet, and it’s no shock that the internet is cruel and unkind. if you had asked me this a year ago, id say absolutely! but now im honestly unsure and would recommend you have “thick skin” going into this job (meaning just ensure you are able to handle harsh comments from people who don’t even know you)

i would say yes it’s worth it, but only if you allow yourself set time on the internet and still allow yourself to pursue a healthy lifestyle outside of creation

#i’ve been asked this a lot and wanted to put my input #i adore streaming so much but the internet makes it a lot harder to enjoy it #recently i’ve just been incredibly drained with it all #from having my entire body discussed by middle aged men on reddit #to then having people who don’t know me send me asks just belittling my personality because they want to believe they know me #streaming makes me so happy #but everything that comes with it just makes it hard to enjoy if that makes sense #i’m okay it is just frustrating i suppose #i want to be transparent when people ask me stuff like this and not just be lie AW YEAH STREAMING IS THE BEST #love you gamers #asksey
