No matter how weird the questions are that Neil Gaiman gets (or for the matter we see because he answered them), I would like to remind everyone, that having around 80.000 asks in your inbox gives you a lot to choose from.

Meaning, that Neil Gaiman probably actively chooses from these 80.000 questions what he answers.

So for the love of god, stop bullying the people asking "cringe" questions. They probably didn't expect to get an answer anyways, and Neil chose to answer them.

Anyways so if they say that the festival of corruption/match with Gadam vs Captaons is on the 15th November and Cassian did that bc his exams were the next day, which would be the 16th of November. CSATS irl Korea is on the third week/Thursday of November, and vtk is mostly 21st century.

So here are the years vtk could fit into:

If we take a look at the usage of phones in vtk, they mostly use modern touchscreen mobile phones, and during the 2000s, they weren't in full use by the public, so we can rule out 2000 and 2006.

The years that vtk could be set in is from 2017-2034. This is just a rough estimation as

Vtk is not the same world as ours, it is fictional

Me ruling out 2000s may be incorrect

This is just an estimation and as of the moment I'm writing this, we do not know how far our society may change in the future so the way people dress in vtk could be from our recent years.

Let's just assume vtk is set in 2017/2023,

Cassian (Gangu), the bullies, Minyeong, Naeun, Yuri, Uchan, Rick, Raul, the psyker trainees who barged into Gadam vilzone, Driver, Red Eye, Crow, Black Hand, Crush, Double Blade, literally majority of the villains would be like gen z

Cassian Lee, Jeff, Tuppence, Jiseon, Daewung would all be millenials

Don King would be Gen X, same goes for the card villain guy and blue serpent I think? They all look old.

This is just a hypothesis and it isn't confirmed, and I made this just for fun so don't take this seriously.

Ok I'm only as far as Saw 4 but my assumption of chainshipping vs coffinshipping so far is this: Chainshipping is good for any fanfiction, hurt comfort? Oh absolutely. Kinky sex with or without plot? Fantastic. Domestic roomate situation in which they heal slowly together? Chefs kiss. But Coffinshipping was made to fuck nasty and kill each other, I can not imagine them in any situation other than a horny one where at least one of them ends up injured and most likely bleeding.

🕰️ Timeline Talk

Okay, I just discovered the Brozone Website (it took me a while, whoops.) and in John Dory's blog update, on February 19, 1999, they performed in Pop Village.

Which doesn't make sense to me since it's around January that Branch could've been born according to Floyd's blog update.

The first movie had said Branch was a kid/toddler there, therefore baby Branch would have still be in the Troll Tree. In Trolls (2016) the bergens have eaten Branch's grandmother (assuming around (2000-2001) while when Branch was baby (January 1999), his grandma was still alive.

Because in the first movie the trolls had their escaped on the day of the Trollstice which occurs once every year.

BUT Trollstice could occur perhaps on any day of the year as it was not specified which day of the year and in the span of one months, baby Branch could've looked like a toddler. The trolls could've moved to Pop Village within the first two weeks February of 1999. That would've made John Dory's blog update make sense and the timeline wouldn't be so confusing.

BUT ALAS,

There is a hindrance in this theory. Because Brozone broke up in March 11 of 1999; their grandma was still alive, Branch was still a baby, and John Dory posted about Pop Village in February of 1999.

It's joever.

There's no braining to the Trolls timeline. Let's just enjoy the movie series, shall we? (⁠●⁠´⁠⌓⁠`⁠●⁠)

#kirby #daily kirby #my art #digital #hal laboratory #nintendo #I don't think I mentioned at the time because it was in the middle of kirb2k #but I had an appointment with a hematologist last week #they confirmed the culprit behind my chronic illness is definitely my mast cells #but I need to get a bone marrow biopsy next month to find out #if it's actually not-technically-autoimmune (mcas)#or if it's actually not-technically-cancer (mastocytosis)#which is actually good news cuz 1 someone finally confirmed my nearly 6 year old hypothesis instead of just agreeing (or disagreeing)#and 2 if it *is* mastocytosis they're gonna start medicating me A Lot more aggressively :)#which I need! I've been sick for right about 8 years now but it's gotten rapidly worse in the past 1-1.5 years #so clearly I'm badly under-medicated #(since I've been on all the same meds for 2 years except for my own emergency intervention.)#(I mean technically I've been chronically ill my whole life it just wasn't disabling until early 2016)#anyway I'm so tired I feel like a ragdoll half the time! sure hope I get adequate medication in a couple months!
