i need someone to lose it with me over Millin and Kwan from Grey’s because he is the dedicated, cutthroat one. He’s the one that isn’t here to make friends. He takes surgeries, even if it means the other’s lose out. He is supposed to be selfish and care only about his own career.

And yet.

Jules is worried about her roommate and wants to be on Bailey’s service and he offers to switch, no prompting at all. They find out that it’s a neuro case and so he’ll get to scrub in on a neuro surgery, but he knows how much Jules wants to be there to make sure everything is okay and so, again with no prompting, he offers to switch back to general so that she can take the neuro surgery. He’s spent this whole episode thinking only about what she wants and how he can help her, even when she’s keeping him at a distance.

I just cannot get over the two of them I haven’t been this invested in a dynamic in forever. She’s the one that makes him soft and I just can’t deal.

Did I watch almost the entire season 19 of Grey's just for the snippets of Jules and Blue? Maybe...

I'm glad Maxine is okay, and I guess that will be a speed-bump on the road still (in terms of conflict between them). But these two are definitely about to be two idiots in love in season 20 and I am so here for it.

I mean Blue only flirted with the nurse because for sure he thought Jules has no interest. and her being jealous was just hilarious to watch.

I also think, that him staying with Jules after her speech was a rather "big" moment for him. He knew he couldn't really comfort her, but he also didn't run away and stayed. And that feels important for his character/their relationship.

welder!simon making you those pretty metal flowers. welder!simon who loves when you pack lunch for him because its so domestic and he’s out of the house by 0400 in the morning anyway. welder!simon who talks about you to all the down-to-earth guys that come through and have a job for him. welder!simon who always showers right when he gets home because he know how you get when he gets thise little curls of steel that latch onto his shirt on the couch or get dirt on the bed.

mechanic!simon who always gets your vehicle in and out before anyone else though possible. mechanic!simon who offers to fix things up at your house/apartment for free because he (wants to spend time with you) knows how expensive things are… and he is your friend, so why not just do it out of the kindness of his heart? mechanic!simon who is friends with you long enough to know your favorite animal/song, so he casually gets a tattoo of the animal silhouette/lyrics because he has tattoos anyway so why not get one that reminds him of you?

electrician!simon who always jumps to offer his work skills if you need. electrician!simon who always lets you know the latest gossip that he hears on the job if you want to know. electrician!simon who always calls you after a work accident/scare: he fell about twenty feet and landed on his back and his first thought was of you, simon got shocked by a live wire and asked for you to come cook him dinner because he burned through some skin tissue (and he knows you’d do it).

emotionally i'm still at "[...] you are the most selfish, arrogant, impulsive, enraging person i have ever met. you never consider anyone else's feelings. you never care about how anyone else feels or what they want. you put me in an impossible situation today and i hate you for that. i hate you so much that i'm going to cry now because that's how i express anger and i'm going to hate you even more because you saw me cry and the worst part is you saved her. you saved my favorite person. so, now, i don't get to just hate you. i have to love you, too."

because jules is 100% right, blue is all those things except he's also shown he's the complete opposite when it comes to her because the moment he realized what maxine meant to jules and how worried she was about her, every decision and action he did was with jules in mind.

has he gone about it the right way? no lmao. but given what we know about him, this definitely seems like new territory for him. like he's definitely in denial about it not just him falling but that jules fell too :'-)))
