Anne-Marie: Charlie, will I ever see you again?
Charlie: Sure. Sure you will, kid. You know goodbyes aren’t forever.
Me remembering that Judith Barsi and Burt Reynolds are both in Heaven right now:

One of My Favorite Movies Ever. Ducky Is My Favorite Character. I still can recite this one scene with Little Foot, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike that I know by heart, that is My Favorite Scene. It's One Of The Saddest Children's Movies, and as I became older, I was able to realize that. The Young Actress, Judith Barsi who voiced Ducky and Ann Marie in All Dogs Go To Heaven, was a Victim Of Domestic Violence. She and her mother  Maria were killed on July 25, 1988, in a double murder-suicide committed in their home by her father, József Barsi. She was only 10.

1980s kid actors that deserve more respect? Apart from Andersen and Barsi, what about Jenny Beck ("V", "Troll")? IMHO, like Andersen and Barsi and unlike O'Rourke, Beck wasn't just a walking catchphrase.
Tumblr media
I disagree Heather was merely a walking catch phrase. She wanted more than that. She was done with all Poltergeist movies after III. That is short-sided to say. Judith, too, had her catch phrases in her career (think Ducky) and she was not shallow because of them or less of an actress.
Are you always the same person because you seem fond of asking me especially about Judith or referring to Judith.

DP/DC
Danny had found out a while back that the principal, staff members, and some students at Casper High had known for years that something was going on and that Danny and Jazz didn't have a safe homelife, but did absolutely nothing. The only person who tried to do anything was Mr. Lancer, but his attempts did nothing because he was ignored by the people he reached out to for help many times. Danny's death could have been prevented if people actually did something about what they noticed.
Danny listens to true crime podcasts a lot. Some stories are burned into his brain. That's usually the stories about abused and neglected children who could have been saved. Stories where many people knew something was going on and did nothing about it, and a child died because of that. Those ones always hit a little close to home for Danny even if the specific details are different. Sometimes, true crime podcasts about these situations make Danny cry himself to sleep, wondering when the world will learn from past mistakes and stop letting this happen.
Danny's new adoptive family finds this out when someone turns off All Dogs Go To Heaven when it gets to the credits and Danny goes on a rant about Judith Barsi for no less than an hour. At the end of his rant, he mentions that the world still hasn't learned and quietly asks, "When will it stop? When will people learn from the past and stop letting children suffer and die?"
He is tearing up. The rest of the batfam don't know what to do. They aren't sure how to respond. They didn't think turning off a movie during the credits would trigger a reaction like this. He's more emotional about this whole thing than anyone else would be about the death of a child actor they never even knew.
Later that week while visiting the manor, Jazz explains that the reason that affects Danny the way it does is because of trauma relating to his own death and how easily it could have been prevented if someone had done something.

This Image Had Me Thinking
Tumblr media
So this is one of the gallery photos for Clown’s new project Welcome Home, a children’s puppet show horror found-footage type creation. Like many others, I’m hooked. I also have a somewhat strangely large well of knowledge when it comes to the darker side of children’s programming.
Now I don’t know what to call this, ‘cause it’s not exactly a ‘theory,’ more of a recollection, perhaps. I don’t actually think this is something that will reflect from the show, but it just has some sort of eerie link in my brain.
The image shown is a young girl mangled in the background, holding a hammer, with Welcome Home’s character Julie in the front. It could be the similarly blond hairdo, or the name being so close, but this image reminds me of Judith Barsi, the young girl who voiced parts Duckie from “A Land Before Time” and Ann-Marie from “All Dogs Go To Heaven,” The latter being her last role.
It was her last role because, at 10 years old, Judith and her mother was killed by her father who immediately committed suicide after the gruesome act.
Art often imitates life. For a moment, I wondered if Judith Barsi’s story somewhat inspired whatever story the little girl in this picture has. Could she be Julie’s voice? Was the little girl also a child actress taken way before her time? And why is the flower with eyes that she’s holding the same color pallet as Wally Darling?
The flower is actually a Pansy, which is a flower often used to symbolize Love (Romantic or platonic), and Remembrance. Also compassion, thoughtfulness, and Free-Thinking. I don’t think that’s on accident.

I would happily show anyone my internet search history like what am I protecting. Crochet patterns for beginners. Free ePub books online. The land before time Judith Barsi story. Itching when withdrawing from Seroquel. Harley Quinn hbo. Teen wolf fanfiction. Teenage mutant ninja turtles mutant mayhem action figures. Telehealth virtual appointment logins. V C Andrews incest obsession. Panera bread pastries. Where to watch preachers’ daughters reality show in 2023. Fiona Gallagher crying crazy gif. Cruella 2021 ending meaning. Is there gonna be a Cruella 2. Lana Del Rey hd photoshoot scans. Most of these are from the last few days. I am nothing if not a shamelessly curious girl and if that’s a crime then lock me up.

I just love this song from All Dogs Go To Heaven because for some reason I think it would be fitting for young Sephiroth who would imagine everything about having a real family, especially his mother. And in subtext it reminds me that the voice actor, Judith Barsi, actually didn't sing this because stress from her home life caused her to cry during recording.
Oh god. The memories. I used to watch that movie till the tape broke. Learning about Judith Barsi was a sobering experience, let me tell you.
Baby Seph!!! Someone give him a family!!
