**slight spoilers for the new stardew update**

so the new stardew update lets you put hats on pets, which is awesome, 10/10 feature

but i use a mod that changes the normal dog texture to the annoying dog from undertale, so the hats dont sit quite right

which is fine, i expected that and dont mind, especially because the results with the sunglasses is hilarious and im not gonna change a thing

I swear, Oblivion is something else. Here I am, escorting Martin and Jauffre to Cloud Ruler Temple when a wolf attacks Jauffre on his horse. Martin, before I could even blink, sends the damn wolf flying in a somersault with a frost attack before turning to me, absolutely beaming.

That would not be the last time Martin would stare at me smiling after brutally killing something on that trip. The man stared at me with an honest to Akatosh smile on his face while the horses stepped all over the bandit's corpse. It was beautiful.

I'm so happy you mentioned the manga's details because DAMN Nishi is so gosh darned detailed and the anime misses some things sometimes... Also you mentioned the expressions and you are so correct. And the art style is absolutely fire too like-

I can't begin to describe how much I love the way she draws expressions. And the way they look so unhinged sometimes? The anime just doesn't give the same feeling dbdidbskd. Anyway, this was all to say that your tags are 100% correct thank you

YEAH YEAH YOU GET IT like anime does a brilliant job of characters and plot but artwise its not as though nishi is making the anime too. so the artstyle misses out on her lovely lovely expressions like.

that scene in the manga ^ vs in the anime (i don't have screenshots to hand) -- anime did it beautifully but its not the same!!

and these ones which will come up next season -- they'll look so cool but anime can't spend ages on just one shot, right? arguably the purson playing trumpet might have more time dedicated to it but in the end manga will generally win in the details category.

(as an aside i really hope they replicate the watercolour style for the middle scene because i am so so obsessed with it)

his expression is so RAW but im sure the anime will tragically not reach the same level.. nishi has set my standards too high
