Superman meeting Santa is actually the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Superman, surprised, asks, "Wow-- You remember that?" Santa replies, "You asked for 'a new coffee maker for Ma and Pa.' And something about how you thought coffee was yucky, but they love it."
Superman, touched, says, "I can't believe you read my letter..." In the background, the dragon is looking at them menacingly, and Blue Beetle shouts, "¡Eyyy! Supes! ¡Hola! Back here!" End ID]

gosh i feel like i did not enjoy fall enough this year :( ive been so burnt out from working and school that i just haven't had the energy to do fall things. i never went hiking, i never watched the shows i watch, i only baked a little bit. it just feel like it passed me by. i didn't even carve pumpkins or do much for halloween!!! this like never happens, i always make time to enjoy the seasons but i just couldn't this year

Ah, yes. Christmas, in my wacky family.
Every year, my dads dad side comes. This means my grandfather, who is full blooded Iltalian and Sicilian. And every year he acts like the father on My Big Fat Greek Wedding and trys to teach me italian, in which I forget by next Christmas. I am the first female in over 6 generations on my dads sides, which means many many people asking if I have a boyfriend yet, (im Aromantic but hey, whatta gonna do) and if I do they'll beat them up.
Then my mom makes the best chippino ever, with crap and clams and just MMMMM its so good. Then, me and my cousins will fight with the claws and eventually have them take them away. Then we decorate cookies and have to do some crazy games that the adults can record and post to social media. When everyone is set to leave, my grandma does a review lesson on Italian and what he taught me, and everyone goes home.

It feels so good to be able to decorate a tree, listen to Christmas music, bake cookies and watch Christmas specials in a peaceful environment. No yelling or being made to feel bad. No pressure and no worries. Just love and laughter. The way it's supposed to be.
Tonight my fiance and I put up our first tree together. Decorated it and placed a star on top. We plan on putting a little train to go around it. This is healing my inner child and helping to have a little nostalgia of happier times in my childhood before things changed for the worse. We baked cookies and watched Christmas specials. Prep and Landing to be exact haha. It was so nice.
