MORIKAZE;

-SOMEWHERE IN HIS MID 30S-LATE 30S he seems like a really tired guy who just wants to do his job. the fact he gets to be a bitch is just a plus to it. workaholic maybe since he was kinda pushed into working for mdcr. stays hours after the workday is over to fix and look over stuff

-if i had to describe him itd be standoffish and loyal, even if he doesnt want to be. i think hes definitely a coward when it comes down to it though

-does not like working for mdcr too much, but the benefits are insaneee and also jungle makes it bearable

^-otherwise, morikaze doesnt like kirimi at all. they have a little work place rivalry but manage to keep it civil since theyre higher up. also because morikaze is petty as helllll

^^-morikaze resents working for someone so young, and is also oddly a little terrified of jeraldy just cause of his sheer anger. its what keeps him in line

-probably workplace besties with ven, and i use that term loosely. they have a sort of camaraderie. after ven leaves mdcr for good, he envies her escape from the company, but in the end sticks with mdcr cause where else would he go?

-jungles the executive, but morikaze mostly carries out jungles duties ( assistant executive ? ) for him since jungle gets bored working after like 5 minutes. hes definitely the backbone of the company, and he doesnt hate it since it makes him feel important to mindy

^-aside from ''assistant'' executive, i like to think he does tech ( diagnostics , etc. ) stuff and money management for the company

-when he was younger he learned how to master a ton of brass instruments. i dont think hed be the kind of guy to play in a band or live solo, but hes probably dreamt about it. trumpet was his favorite but i like to imagine he was also a big tuba and saxophone guy

-ive said this before but hes a big ska fan. jazz too but i think moreso noir jazz. i cant decide whether hed like fast paced stuff or slow so its a bit up there for me

-definitely a frequent to places that play jazz though, and even concerts

^-morikaze is fat mostly but hes definitely got a little muscle there

-CARES GREATLY for how he presents. 40 step skin care routine and he always irons out his clothing. has like insanely good hygiene its kinda scary

-hes def a real sour guy. if youre tryna have fun at a work outing with him youve gotta get some alcohol in him for him to start lightening up, otherwise hes not budging

-big fucking fan of spicy food.

-not a natural born ice elemental numa unlike koritora. he had to learn how to curate and harness ice himself. i imagine this took years and he only really got the hang of it by the time mo4 takes place, but hes pretty skilled with it regardless

^-as such, i think his body would have scars and visual damage from the ice depending on where and how hed use it. even if he can create ice from himself, it definitely takes a toll on his form after a while, especially in battle if he doesnt have his mech or a weapon. the more power and force he uses the more it kinda nips away at him

-wears makeup. not all too much, just stuff like eyeliner and mascara. i also think hed draw in his eyebrows since i feel like hair in the numa eye is a symbol to be respected

-i think even if he is a little cold, a lot of employees at mdcr still look to him for guidance

-obviously, he has a very hard time differentiating limerence and love, as he has not experienced the latter due to how much work he buries himself in

^-honestly i chalk this up to kirimi experimenting on him in several unethical ways without his consent or knowledge but this also could just be how he is its anyones guess but the former is more fun than the latter

-aware of jeraldy and kirimis corruption, but compared to the two, he cant do anything

JUNGLE;

-older than jeraldy ( only by a couple months id say maybe 18 at the time of mo4 ? but very freshly. imagine dying right after u turn 18 fuckkkkk ) , but also a bit more immature than him. while he tries to act like an adult, he always seems to fall flat

-whatever is the numa equivalent to being indigenous, jungle is that. the markings on his head and face are a family community tattoo. got them a couple years after the massacre to honor his family. each of his relatives had different tattoos, probably got the same as his ma when he was younger to honor her but probably stands for the natural process of life ( birth, growth, death )

-even for a numa hes terrifyingly skinny and tall ( about the same height as kashikin who stands at around 5'2" ) , doesnt eat a lot unless he needs to, oddly agile and freakily flexible, you put him in a tight space and he could easily be out in seconds

-often seen jumping around mdcr often. youll see him in one room one second and then 6 floors up he'll be there too somehow. hes probably wandered through mdcrs rafters a time or two lol

-he didnt like anyone at mdcr aside from jeraldy and kirimi for a very long time. i think hed have issues trusting people and feels like he can only rely on the two for anything

^-after vens recruitment i think hed slowly start backing away from the two out of concern, and morikaze talking about the two would just reaffirm what jungle feared to be happening. while he cared deeply for kirimi and jeraldy he realized the path they were going down wasnt exactly healthy or the solution. even with the space however, hed always remain loyal to jeraldy

-i think somehow he managed to avoid kirimis mistreatment, whether kirimi saw him as bait or just another thing to watch, he was definitely not a concern for him, so he got out of it by a hair

-minimal nocturnal ability, he cant see too far in front of him however. definitely needs glasses but refuses to even consider it in the end lol

-sees morikaze as more of the weird distant father, but its still the closest thing aside from kirimi and jeraldy he has to family. in a way i think he looks to morikaze for assistance ( bad idea ) but doesnt like to ask for it. as such it kinda comes off as jungle berating or using morikaze for his own profit, whatever that may be

-he has his own room in the mdcr building, as do jeraldy and kirimi. the closest he'll get again to having a home would also end up being the place hed be killed

-bare minimum of idea of what it means when it comes to self care and hygiene. also hes like the average guy on malelivingspcae when it comes to shit like that hesso bad at it i promise you. funny but also terribly sad to the point you can only give like a nervous chuckle before remembering

-the phone is a replica of his moms

^-hes very obviously a huge mommas boy

^^-any topic relating to parents or the such if you bring up or try and jestwith the guy he will breakdown. Angrily.

-tries to keep himself busy with a lot of stuff that isnt mdcr related, cause he gets super fuckin bored and eventually hell just start thinking about everything going on again. im saying he likes to try and remain blissfully unware but hes certainly very Painfully aware of the demise incoming

-worlds worst posture goes to jungle, even worse than sigkin and arakawas probably, but i think itd be a tie

-his puppies were a gift from jeraldy............ smiles

-got a little too attached to the robot of his mom. jeraldys probably walked in on jungle napping on it at some point beneath mdcr. hes never brought it up to jungle

-this guy will purposefully piss people off at mdcr to spar with them, doesnt matter in meeting, lunch room, etc etc always looking for a fight to dominate

^-despite this, hes definitely gotten his ass whooped by kirimi and morikaze, but thats because their moves can directly counter or overwhelm jungle, especially with how cocky he can be. only reason he fought kirimi was because kirimi likes to push buttons and knows exactly how to get jungle mad

^^-i dont think hed have the heart to try and spar jeraldy

-hes one of the rare cases of characters where i dont think he cares for music. regardless hes definitely a breakcore / noise guy. just any type of loud noise. hed listen to construction metal if it meant there was background noise

-his powers are wayyy too strong for him to fully control since hes not exactly using an object to try and concentrate the power ( ill compare this to how fukurou has the book and marikin has his cards, or how any other mo4 character has a weapon they can channel something into ) , which has led to a bit of destruction around the building

^-id also like to mention i think his powers revolve around raw energy. as such he can collect and transform the energy into anything ( those mostly being chemical, thermal, etc. ) he needs, unlike the other numa who can channel these into only one or two types of energy

-in conclusion, hes a big ball of ( potential ) energy that could go off at any second depending on the situation and hes always seeping energy from the surroundings

^-this would have been of use to kirimi theres no way to control it since even jungle cant. no way of using it, for good or bad, so there isnt a point in trying to harness it if the main user doesnt realize the potential ( and may never )

yours would definitely be very herbal-sweet and kinda spicy. like floral but not too floral. itd have hints of sandalwood for sure.

How you feeling about fanart of your characters in the spicy side? As in, are you ok with it? And if so, is there stuff you'd particulary would like people to deter from doing?

Eh no point in making a list of what you cant do or can do, theres too many options, but i love fanart regardless! Even if its spicy its still pretty good

Though piece of advice, id refrain from drawing yourself banging my characters, nine times out of ten itd be out of character for them to bone just about anybody. Especially bottoming.

okay, im gonna start this off saying: no one will be able to replace billy as macaque. I only got into the show after he passed and it hurts so bad knowing we'll never hear him in anything anymore. i am NOT trying to be insensitive with this post whatsoever. thats the last thing i want.

First pick: Lucien Dodge I know him as Mahito in the JJK dub. He has macs vibe down to a T and think itd be a rlly good fit. thats pretty much all i have to say lmao

Second pick: Nicky Buell THIS DUDE IS THE REASON IM MAKING THIS POST Skittle (my fiance) showed his songs to me today and omfg. i didnt hear it at first, but it just clicked half way thru this song (which i see as hella shadowpeach. mac singing to wukong. its a spicy song btw so put in ur headphones). i have NO IDEA if Nicky would ever do voice acting, and i KNOW we wouldnt actually get him as mac, but holy shit. after listening to him for the past HOUR all i hear is macaque now

FAVORITE AND LEAST FAVORITE STARTERS

IM GOING TO ASSUME MAIN SERIES ENTIRE EVOLUTIONARY STARTER LINES AS OPPOSED TO INDIVIDUAL SPECIES

-3 : Hisui Oshawott

(dont look at the typing in the image)im giving myself a handicap for the least favourite list which is making it wayyyyyy harder (more on that later) so were starting weird spicy,,

the arceus folk were always going to struggle because mixing and matching starters is a dangerous game to play,, theres the very distinct feeling that these creatures dont go together, because they Dont; they have different philosophies informing their designs and you cant avoid that. taken away from their original context, decidueye and oshawott are a little too similar geometry wise in a way starter choices within a gen oft never are.

but hey, ones a samurai, ones an archer, and the other can do the ghostie flames; they fit a little too well thematically for the region not to be picked. what can you do ? ...aside from shrine maiden fennekin line. or a momotarou bulbasaur line. ...thats not what im talking about

what knocks oshawott specifically here is the new final evos. cyndaquil and rowlett march steadily enough towards their final forms; rowletts colours already darken in its middle stage, so the autumn colouring is not a huge shift, and cyndaquil is still becoming upright with flames that envelop it more and more (which hisuian does actually better than vanilla here). oshawotts line is now even less cohesive. it doesnt address a problem with the original that its armour plating is just kind of,, there, haphazardly placed and making it look More naked, but now the drastic colour palette, with less contrast for ease of readability than the original, just make the oshawott line feel that much more unrelated to itself.

i think what kills thiese guys the most is that they stopped at a new final evo. a new second form or, hell, make them variants from the start and call them something else; then i think itd be way more fun

+3 : Snivy

complete transparency here; this one is mostly personal bias. see the most fun time ive ever had with pokémon, which im becoming increasingly confident is gonna stay that way, was spearheaded by this guy. blowing a kiss at the clouds for drayano

but its not like these designs dont have anything going for them on their own !! the way this frilly, pompous jacket collar design it has grasually grows into a snakey cocoon that engulfs all of its limbs is first of all pretty bold of an idea and second of all really really fun !!

the consistent yellow highlights and eyeshadow elements the designs have do a really good job of communicating what a smug regal air this thing puts on, despite some of that not being quite as present as id like. i mean like the smugleaf jokes certainly didnt come outof nowhere yea ?

-2 : Fuecoco

FUECOCO IS GOOD!! i need to get this out of the way because judging these as lines rather than individually means that sometimes good designs end up getting the short end of the stick. which super is whats going on here

the first thing that strikes me is that it feels like they design a perfectly fine and fun fire croco butremembered it was a spaniard animal, and decided to toss spanish things at it midway through. the use of different words there was deliberate

the second is that... wow where the hell is skeledirge coming from. like the progression from fuecoco to crocalor is perfectly reasonable, and it does its job as a jump to an awkward offputting midstage (compliment), but then,,, the entire head just suddenly crashes straight to a wall unceremoniously, with this unappealing strident geometry to it all, with a thermometer on its face and pencil sharpener on its torso that has Nothing to do with anything the previous evolutions were communicating. the cool things they had going for it were in fact completely abandoned; the silly lil chompy jaws and teeth turn into ugly skin formations, the overt roundness of the creature just becomes a regular crocos with a decreased polycount, and the cool fire headdressings just become this ugly, lampshaded absence. ...doesnt do anything good for me

+2 : Bulbasaur

i think this ones just the platonic ideal for pokémon evolution. it does EXACTLY what it should do without missing a beat. to the point where im struggling to even talk about it

it starts cute and simple but interesting, cute huge bulb in its back, nice green patterns dotting its body, non standard friendly frog face,, and it grows into this huge, flowering beast with warts with a menacing, yet still cute (in a delightfully off way) face. half lidded eyes, sharp fangs in a wide mouth... and in pokémon stadium it does this

it just.... i donno !!! its so creature !!!! it communicates itself well, offers something different but still cohesive from its contemporaries, and its like !!! really unique for their first go at a grass starter !!! like,, a poisonous plant dinosaur ? on their first go ?? yes girl !!!!!

the one thing that leaves me wanting about the line is the slight change in body colour; it feels too slight to communicate much to me and it ends up being a bit distracting ? but as you can see, its such a minor thing, and im just saying it to make it seem like i have more to say than i actually do

-1 : Galar

yeah see theres the handicap i was talking about.

ugh theres just... so much going on here and i really dont want to elaborate much. first of all all the base forms feel so naked. scorbunny is the only one i feel is communicating something worth much with the sports tape designs, but thats so little to begin with,,

then the rest of the evo lines come in and. why does the sobble line go from naked sad lizard to naked spy lizard. why does socrbunny get a stupid ugly jacket and then lose it. why is grookey line so boring.

theres not a single hit here. 9 chances to make me feel anything other than uninspired and despondent and bored, and they missed Every single one. i hate them.

+1 : Popplio

what id bet is a very surprising pick for anyone who Knows me because i dont think id ever ever ever pick popplio as my starter in lieu of incineroar. but thats incineroar. this is popplio, brionne, and primarina

so this is every principle from bulbasaur lines design executed with utmost elegance and at a higher scale. first of all, its an interesting idea executed in a novel and fun way. its a little seal !!! it goes bwark !!! it has very sillybab paws that dont let it walk right !!! and it evolves very naturally into a graceful otherworldly singer and performer, keeping your attention in how the colour palette enrichens and grows as it evolves, and reiterating every interesting design element it has with each iteration !!! little clown collar into a gorgeous frilly design, silly little ears into magical ethereal hair, stumpy tail into a majestic mermaids tail !!! ws all around !!!!

another strength it has is,, i think brionne is one of few starter midstages i like in its own merits ? often any attachment i have to midstages work more as,, appreciation of a blueprint. like... "wow i see where this is going to go and i cant wait to get there". i mean, by design, theyre supposed to be awkward, a little "incomplete". but brionne, like,,, baillerina !!! the ears are pigtails now !!! look at that earnest but lil weird smile its got !!!! dawww its my friend !!!!

the finally, it has a lot of strengths on a macro level worth pointing out. and these are compliments i extend to gens 6 and 7 as a whole.

firstly, each starter right off the bat offers something very different. different silhouettes, different vibes, completely different target demographics as soon as you get to look at them in the starter selection.

and secondly, theming. i really like how in gen 6 you have the rpg class and in gen 7 you have the circus performer thing going on; it all feels natural and fun, and ties with the previous point to really inform and shape your preference when you pick one of these creatures, while still having them fit together with each other. its what i wish pokémon had more of

my young arfid experiences:

ive always been picky to some degree as far as i can remember, but one time i had gotten really sick from some chicken from a resturaunt and for like YEARS i couldnt eat any chicken

i hated food touching other food, like i just wouldn't eat it if it had come into contact with another food that i didnt like

whether it was a shared plate, a spoon used to scoop it, a bit of it getting mixed up in it, i couldn't stand it

i was constantly underweight and skinny. i was frequently told to eat more because of how thin i was and i got so irritated by it because it wasn't that easy or simple (but i didn't know how to explain it other than 'i'm picky' which they would then try to get me to try new food)

any bit of seasoning on food? i couldn't eat it. parsley? nope. a bit of black pepper? no way. even if i "couldnt taste it" i just. couldnt get myself to eat it. Itd feel gross in my mouth and i hated it

my uncle literally said he'd give me a dollar if i tried this like peach yogurt or something, even if i didnt like it. i think that kinda shows the extent of this 'pickiness' (i did try it but i didnt like how it was like presented to me yk)

one of my least favorite foods that was just always there is pickles. just the smell of it made me sick. if it had even a chance of touching my food, i wouldn't be able to eat it. its one of the only foods i vehemently dislike

By now i've gotten a lot better though, i can (hesitantly) eat cheese pizza, seasoning doesnt bother me nearly as much anymore (only bad if its spicy), im okay with certain foods touching. Ive even been able to try new foods!! Still have a lot of struggles but i've come pretty far from how it used to be and i'm proud :]

I think Leona and Jack are both pretty serious, with the occasional teasing but Ruggie defiantly lets out a laugh or two at how submissive the two are to him/Epel

Leona: A little bit but nothing to bad, hes only top on very rare occasions (birthdays or special occasions and his bfs deserve it)

Ruggie: Oh Ruggie 100% knows what hes doing, at first he acts submissive but flips Leona over and pounds him till the only three words he knows are Ruggies name. 'please' and 'cum'

Leona: His kisses, as Deuce describes them, "Taste like a desert oasis, like a water you never knew you needed". He'd kiss his bfs on the lips, specifically infront of people to annoy the shit out of others, lol. He likes cheek kisses and forehead kisses

Ruggie: His kisses taste like sweets. He tends to kiss his bois literally anywhere that is exposed, ears, nose, cheek, you name it. But he likes being kissed on the ear and nose

Jack: This bois kisses taste like pears, to be expected lol. He likes to kiss on the nose, and he also likes being kissed there and his nose does a cute lil twitch thingy when his bfs kiss him there

Leona: I mean he tries his best and is certainty improving, however he still needs time before he is perfectly comfortable with being fully gentle and open with his bfs

Ruggie: Depends who hes with in terms of physical, like. hes always down for some soft cuddles under a tree but also some playful wrestling if his bfs wanted. Emotionally he is the sweetest lil house-husband anyone would ever want

Jack: Oh hes gentle both mentally and physically! He just likes being a good boi.

hey tony im thinking pretty soon i wanna try my own take on a food i usually get as like one of those packaged foods you put in a skillet. (i remember one day reading the ingredients on the bag and saying wait a second i already know how to make all of this) very exciting concept since it will be one of my first home-made meals, most of my cooking is just pasta. problem is it has breaded chicken in it and i hate breading meats by hand so uhh... do you think itd be cool to use like chicken strips or nuggies instead and also what is your favorite store-bought chicken strips/nuggies

oh those meal kits lmao. i had a friend who got like two months for free and ended up not using most of them so she had me make them... and yeah I'm like. Well I didn't know this exact recipe but the concepts are basic enough!

Would it be cool to use pre-breaded chicken?: YES. This is your meal and you should prepare it the way you like. Getting it pre-breaded does mean you can't control how the breading is seasoned but that can be worked around! Other than that, it should work.

Also I understand the hating breading meats, especially chicken. I absolutely get it. Until recently I was in that same boat too! It's so much effort and mess and the meat is usually all slimy. (you can deslime it by brining for a few hours, which I reccomend anyway, But that just makes more mess usually)

What is your favorite store bought breaded chicken?: Can't help you with this one personally. I don't buy em often enough to have an opinion. I probably have nuggets/etc maybe 4-5 times a year. I know people loooove their tendies and nuggies but I just never got the hype. I mean they're not bad? I just usually want something more interesting.

Best restaurant chicken sandwich chicken goes to Dave's Hot Chicken tho. Sure, when I go there I order the chicken so spicy they asked me to sign a waiver (not an exaggeration), but I've also had their mild and it's still really good. Unfortunately they're not a super common restaurant.

Spicy. Tho Mori seems like he's got good control over his vampirism now what was he like when he first turned

He has excellent control now, but it took quite a lot to get there. When first turned he was very disoriented for a long time because of all the noise going on in his head. He didn't understand what it was or why it hurt so bad. He was urged to feed because itd help, so for id say about half a century or so he pretty much fed indiscriminately. He also didn't really have anyone to help him, an outcast even among vampires for how different he was so he pretty much had to figure it out on his own.

ive had this sat in my inbox for a few days im sorry !!

okay i'll preface this with uh .. i think about these things way too much because 1) The Rabies of course, 2) you gotta think about something while youre running around Hyrule for hundreds of hours, 3) i like science and know a lot of trivia fairly readily instead of like ... useful stuff... and 4) i like food and cooking and foraged foods looool what can ya do

anyway

hyrule herb: wild garlic hands down no doubt to me, it tastes good in basically everything and is bloody everywhere lol

okay SAFFLINA then i'll preface with the first i saw was cool and it also looks like flowering mint (or a mentha species) so:

cool safflina: spearmint (hot take fresh spear > pepper)

warm safflina: oregano

electric safflina: lemon thyme

mighty thistle: celery-like, maybe more bitter soo like fenugreek ?? thistles really are edible though and they can taste like mild celery

blue nightshade: honestly basil came to mind and basically yeah ?? i would think the flowers would taste sweeter though

silent princess: something about the immediate orchid-esque feeling of these made me think of vanilla and i'm sticking to it ... also i like vanilla so bite me :V

spicy pepper: sweet piquanté springs to mind even though theyre not especially hot ?? maybe a little spicier than that but something you could absolutely just snack on

voltfruit: i was kinda torn here because they clearly look like dragon fruit but theyre cacti fruits like prickly pears .. id say like those golden kiwis though because i reckon that splits the difference

hylian shroom: yer average button [shrug]

stamella: portobello ?? nothing special but more robust than a hylian shroom

endura: very nutty, like a chestnut mushroom on steroids

the element shrooms generally make me think of something very woodsy for whatever reason, perhaps because my first encounter was actually with the chill ones, so with that in mind ..

chill, juicy and almost piney

sun, somewhat smoky like a black trumpet ?

zap, a little astringent and earthy

rushroom: i get a hen of the woods vibe off of these at first but honestly i can see them being a bit sweeter than that

razorshroom: something like a hedgehog mushroom maybe so ?? nutty, a lil meaty and crunchy

ironshroom: dense, big umami and earthy

silent shroom: i can see these being pretty similar to a chanterelle with an apricot-like smell to them and a very light flavour

for the record id 100% say that Hyrule's truffles would be way more mild than real world ones because they're not madly overpowering but it can be a lot 🤷‍♂️

chickaloo nut: HUM makes me think of like a mild creamy hazelnut

throwing in that id imagine goron spice wouldnt be horrifically hot or anything like an average garam masala but id imagine it'd have a somewhat metallic edge to it

for the sake of being thoroughly over the top too, ive always liked the idea of fortified pumpkins being like red kuri, and swift carrots as the sweeter commercial varieties while enduras are like more earthy heritage types (which i love, also carrot greens are so good). id think that radishes start out more peppery like an english radish and get more like a daikon the larger they get ?? also wildberry like a sharp slightly more earthy raspberry so its a little like a bog-standard bramble, and i immediately spring to cox when i think of apples because they are superior. its also worth noting that that honey will be potent stuff since truly wild honey in the real world is pretty rare now but its flavour is still super dependant on what nectar is available

for things id add as well, id like to see the return of a cheese product like in Twilight Princess ?? imagine the possibilities ... and mangoes or a citrus because im a gremlin for a mango or lemons/limes any day , itd be interesting to see plums added though since plum trees do exist in the world anyway !!
