at the moment, and for the foreseeable future i am saying no. just because there are copies of ahb! circulating around SEVERAL websites and vendors being sold for oodles and oodles of dollars. despite my requests for the sellers to stop.

i have had people (etsy vendors) in the past lie to me and say they've made "too many personal handbound copies and are only selling those extra ones" which ,,, was obviously a lie. also they were getting the copies through lulu and selling them just btw.

i have also had people tell me that they are binding them and selling them to others for personal use but not making profit off of them even though they're selling art heist for over $100 a book. so. yeah. another lie

so, sorry! but yeah!! there's not much i can do about people actually listening to me and respecting my wishes etc etc and lord knows they don't, but i would super appreciate it if we kept ahb! an ao3 exclusive for now!

it just makes me feel slightly better to put more rules and boundaries in place! though it's never stopped people in this fandom from bulldozing right through those anyway :/

I hope you know I check your blog an inordinate amount since I found it because it makes me so happy whenever you create.😅 You have such an absorbing writing style! Like I genuinely am so impressed at how you provide enough description to make the story immersive, but put it simply enough to make it flow smoothly. (Not that I'm particularly experienced in any way, but I feel like that's really hard to do!) And I also can't help but become invested in your portrayal of the characters. I can tell they care, so I care, and I really feel the stakes. Anyway, thanks for sharing your writing! :))

also I was hoping that today with all three cake decorators in we could get a decent stockpile going so that tomorrow when I'm by myself on christmas eve I could maybe leave early (since you don't want to overproduce if you're closed the next day), but the decorator that booked off both christmas eve and boxing day called in sick today 🤔 so now the place is barren and I'm starting from basically complete scratch tomorrow

I'm just minding my own business, getting my morning oatmeal in the breakroom so I will be functional, and someone comes in, sees my box of raisins, demands to know what it is (without so much as a hello), observes that they are seedless raisins, and plies me with questions about whether seedless raisins are really a thing and should they or should they not have seeds.

I don't know, sir, I just want to eat breakfast. Can this microwave go a little faster.

the new pharmacy put my prescription on auto refill and it's ready to pick up the day BEFORE i even need it, without me doing anything, and they texted me to let me know. I'm gonna cry, this is so much better than arm wrestling the old place every four weeks.
