becoming an academic weapon challenge⋆.ೃ࿔*:･✍🏽

this is a fun little challenge i created that'll hopefully help u to build good academic habits that'll improve ur grades and help inspire you to pursue excellence in ur academic life.

STEP ONE : ROMANTICIZE THE HECK OUT OF SCHOOL

when u learn to enjoy going to school, your going to be motivated to do well in school. because school is so IMPORTANT not only for ur education but also ur future. so take school seriously. and if u wanna become an academic weapon for the long term the best thing u can do is learn to make the best of, and enjoy it.

some ways to romanticize school :

create a school playlist that embodies the school vibes that u wanna have : i have lots of new jeans in my school playlist : i rly like the songs cookie, ditto and hurt for when im at school

ur appearance : if u go to a school where u dont have to wear uniforms, i strongly recommend getting dressed and getting ready meticulously bcuz when u look good, u feel good, and therefore u perform well. if u do wear uniform, wear accessories or hairstyles that make u feel and look pretty. i wear leg warmers with my school uniform and my signature is hair clips and barrettes.

read at school : i always walk around with a book bcuz i like to read a lot but if reading isnt ur thing, listen to a podcast about something that interests u (i rly like true crime)

take pride in ur notes : invest in cute stationary! i swear, sometimes i dont feel like studying but since my stationary is super cute and pink i get motivated to study just by looking at it lol. invest in quality stationary that u love and make ur notes look pleasing to you, and also effective. effective + aesthetically pleasing.

doing homework/studying in the library : or at least changing the scenery and location that u do ur homework from time to time. do yk how boring it is to do work in the same place every single day? give urself a break from the places u see all the time and spend time studying or doing homework outside of ur home. in a cafe or in the library, inside or outside, just change the scenery a bit

start a video diary : i started a little video diary with my friends so that we can remember our school memories. i just think its rly cute and a great way to bond with ur friends, make memories, and romanticize school.

STEP TWO : CREATE A STUDY REGIMEN

every single day study (at least for a little bit) ofc this will vary depending on ur personal schedule but the goal is to do a little bit of studying everyday, and if that isnt possible, designating 3 days a week to a thorough studying session.

the way that i divide my time with a study session is 40 minutes of work time and 20 minutes of downtime. during the 40 minutes of work time u need to LOCK IN. lock in on whatever assignment needs to be complete or lock in on whatever material it is that ur studying. ofc this'll differ between all subjects but dont study all subjects in one night!! thats ambitious, but i find it'll just burn u out so stick to studying for 2-3 subjects max.

STEP THREE : ADVOCATING FOR URSELF

this step is for everyone who feels a bit shy during school but u need to raise ur hand and ask questions!! dont focus on simply learning the material, the goal is to understand the material. understand it enough so that then u can explain it to someone else. thats how you can know when you've studied enough.

dont feel bad for asking a bunch of questions, its literally the teachers job to help you. so advocate for urself, if u need extra classes or a bit of extra help make sure that u get that for urself bcuz at the end of the day the only one responsible for ur grade is you.

STEP FOUR : THE RULES OF THE CHALLENGE

complete every assignment as if it was for a grade - dont half ass ur assignments, give every assignment 100%

study a little bit everyday or have thorough study sessions three times a week

romanticize school

ask one or more questions per teacher

i was writing this ask and honestly don't remember if i sent it or not so sorry in advance 😭✋️ i disagree with the previous anon, the problem isnt people focusing on the miscarriage, i think, personally, that people just really like the universe and want to see more, and since things about this story could be spoilers, they ask the hypotheticals (the baby, the pregnancy). At least thats the way i see it. Im equally curious about charles courting max and about max slowly but surely seeing charles as a safe space to kind of get away from everything (🥰) as i am about the baby, but i imagine that would be spoilers and wouldnt ask because maybe you would find it annoying seeing as its going to be in the next chapter. I am really excited about this story, because, like you said, it is a very clear that it's about a growing relationship and your writing and analysis are so so so good. You get us on our toes and dont treat them one dimensionally, I think its very easy to write Max as headstrong and Charles as sweet but you show another side to it (like real people are lol often not one just one thing). Its good tho that you spoke up about anyways so that we know what to focus on. I am curious tho because i wouldnt want to intrude: what are the kind of things that we can send in abt this story without being too invasive? Like I saw some people talking about ivf and you said we should wait and see sooooo maybe not that? Lol 😝

I'm having a study day, so thank you for giving me a reason to take a break dfjskdfksjdfkdsj I think you're absolutely right, I don't think people mean anything by it and I don't hold it against anyone! It would be nice to not ONLY get asks that are about that, but I'm not upset about it or anything!

Thank you, this is all really sweet <3 and please don't ever worry about annoying me! The only things that annoy me are people telling me what to write, asking nonstop when the update will be or critiquing my work when I didn't ask for it. Anything else is fair game! If you ask something and I don't answer because it'll be in the next chapter I'm never annoyed, I just know you'll have an answer really soon so I don't want to spoil it. It's also helpful sometimes to know what questions people have because it tells me what people are paying attention to and what I need to focus on. So never never annoying! I'm also ridiculously easy to tempt into giving spoilers, it's really sad. If i get a question and don't answer because it's a spoiler but then someone asks me the same thing a second time? I'm probably just spoiling it, because I'm horrible at keeping secrets. So dont worry about it dfjkdfjks don't worry about being invasive either. i literally can't think of a question someone could ask me about this fic that i would consider invasive

(2) Also, previous anon here, but a whole different topic, if its off limits, feel free not to answer. I really like how you capture two people loving each other and not always agreeing but always understanding if that makes any sense?? Like charles probably doesnt like jo but he keeps out of it because he knows max instead of trying to push them apart. I think most people writing a story would go "oh charles should protect max from jo and not let them see each other" but its much more complicated than that, its his father figure still and they dont only have bad moments. The same thing with charles x ferrari. I see a lot of fics where max pushes charles to go to red bull and sure, thats fun to read, but max understanding the deep attachment charles has to ferrari is much nicer. He knows its not only about a wdc, its about charles' father, jules, his relationship with the team etc. Tell me if im wrong but thats just what i observed

thanks!! you're absolutely right <3 that idea is really important to me, that you can't control the people who you love and they don't belong to you. charles knows max loves his dad on his own terms and it's not up to him to get between them, but he can offer Max somewhere soft to land if he ever decides to cut his dad off. and max really just wants to see charles succeed, so if charles' dream is to win with Ferrari then Max wants that too. (and also personally I want that gjfghjgfhjgf) they don't always understand each other's actions, but they can at least do their best to understand each other's feelings, and that's a good way to make a strong supportive relationship. first of all, i love your new username!!!!

my family loves watching sports so every year the super bowl is like a excuse to drink and eat junk! i actually don’t understand football even tho i grew up with family who’s super into watching it! i honestly spent most of the game eating and like playing with the baby bc he’s so precious and i love him. i loved the halftime show it was good. we didn’t get the day off bc i go to a charter school not a public school.

i actually do know where i wanna go and what i want to do lol. i just forget that like now it’s not shocking to people when i know what i wanna do with my life. cause like when i was younger like in middle school they would ask me and i would say like what i wanted to major in and people would be so shocked that i knew.

omg i’ve had one sleep over with my neighbor when i

was like 7 but other than that i’ve never had one.

im okayish. my mom has def been something these past days. the only thing that keeping me going rn is the fact that i move out next year!!! i have a dance on friday which i’m excited for and my grandma comes back from mexico this week too(i have mommy and daddy issues so my attachment to my grandma is out of this world). how are u baeee?

when is your spring break? mine is in two weeks, and i'm so. excited.

what do you want to be again? you might have told me, but i have forgotten. i also knew what i wanted to be from a young age! since i can remember, i'd always wanted to be a pediatrician. it wasn't until i started writing fan fictions that i realized connecting with an audience and being able to give them something made me feel so happy, and it's what i want to do with the rest of my life. so now i wanna be a writer. but. i think it's super super cool that you've always known what you wanted to be. you'll be successful for sure, whatever it is.

really?? so many people i know have never had sleepovers, and it's crazy to me, because i've had too many to count (only about 10-15 with friends, but the rest have been with my cousins!)! as i get older, i'm starting to realize sleepovers are only fun for like two days max. i just love my room, and the comfort of it.

how's your mom now? girl just keep thinking about next year. idk about you, but this year went by SUPER fast for me. so i'm sure next year, especially since it'll be your last year, will, too. how was your dance? i'm sorry i'm so late on these always. i also had a dance! last saturday, actually! it was phenomenal, and i learned how to dance there. i was really nervous, but i looked great, and i felt really happy, especially dancing! it was my second school dance ever (the first being in middle school, which was extremely lame, so i asked my mom to pick me up early). how are you now that your grandma's back? i love my abuela :') i'm gonna see her for the first time in like four years next month, and super excited. she lives in venezuela, and i see her scattered years for a few months. i can't wait :)
