it’s so incredibly weird how people are hating on simon this season. i’ve seen so many comments on tiktok saying things like “simon was worse this season” and “simon wasn’t understanding of wilhelm at all which made me dislike him” and even some people saying they were more annoyed at simon than AUGUST? like wow, way to start victim blaming just because a young boy is struggling and trying to cope after being publicly outed and having his privacy invaded and then having his trust broken?? what do people want simon to do????? how is he supposed to immediately understand wilhelm’s entire life and situation when he has his own struggles too? simon and wilhelm are two very different people living very different lives and they BOTH have their own trauma so of course that’s going to make things more complicated, but it’s not their fault. they’re the victims in this situation and it’s so weird when people argue over who’s better or worse.

two severely traumatised boys struggling and coping in their own ways after being publicly outed without their consent is NOT a competition… you’re not supposed to be picking sides or choosing which team you’re on. some of the things simon did were unfair. some of the things wilhelm did were unfair. they both did things that hurt the other but in the end they understood each other and made up and THAT is what is important. it took time, but that’s what makes it so realistic. they needed to be away from each other for a while because something traumatic happened but it wasn’t their fault and that doesn’t change how much they love each other. they just needed to focus on themselves so that they could eventually understand the other person’s situation.

ignoring simon’s trauma just because wilhelm is hurting makes absolutely no sense and ignoring wilhelm’s trauma just because simon is hurting makes no sense. they were BOTH struggling. and people need to remember how traumatising and terrifying it would be for simon to have his body filmed during a private moment where his face is showing and everyone knows who he is. it doesn’t matter that he’s not a royal or if people say “no one cares that much, they’ll forget about it”. IT’S STILL TRAUMATISING AND INVASIVE AND IT HAPPENED WITHOUT HIS CONSENT!! this isn’t about reputation or titles. it doesn’t matter if he’s royal or a nobody. it’s the fact his PRIVACY was invaded!!!!!!!!! anyone could STILL have access to that video because it was put out there on the internet and the thought of that is absolutely terrifying. and then to make things worse, of course it’s going to hurt him even more hearing his boyfriend deny he was the other person in the video. it would’ve made simon feel so lonely and terrified. and then imagine being asked to continue being a secret and forced to hide? simon has probably already spent years hiding who he is because he’s gay, so imagine how he felt to be told he has to be a secret AGAIN after he finally found someone to be happy with, right after being outed in a video. it would be SO overwhelming and difficult! and yes, of course wilhelm had valid reasons for denying it was him in the video and for asking simon to be a secret. he needed to protect himself and i understand that, but that doesn’t change the fact that it still hurts. people expected simon to drop EVERYTHING immediately for wilhelm but IT’S NOT THAT EASY. that’s not how it works! it was a shitty situation they were BOTH put in because of august but IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT. they are both victims and they were both struggling because of it.

but anyways they understood each other in the end and made up and it was so beautiful so i have no idea why people are still complaining about simon. it’s just getting on my nerves because they’re clearly not paying attention to the show and you’re not supposed to pick sides. even edvin admitted he was shocked at how wilhelm acted at certain points and thought he was being selfish. you’re supposed to acknowledge that characters may do hurtful things when they’re struggling with their own issues while also being able to understand both sides because they both had valid reasons for being upset. it was so hard for BOTH of them.

I don’t like going to the gym so I decided to try dancing at home. What did I chose to learn first, you ask? Maniac by Stray Kids. Do I have previous dance experience? No. No I do not. I’ve been doing it for maybe 30 mins now and I’m sweating profusely 😂 10/10 recommend for anyone else who doesn’t like going to the gym
