Have a question - I've seen people a going a little crazy saying we're definitely getting a RWRB sequel - that Casey is already writing it. They are citing a MetroWeekly. com article (Matthew Lopez is Having a Red Hot and Blue Moment) which I have yet to see - having trouble getting to the site. Do you have a copy of this article? I'm still wary to actually believe it until I see a press release fr Amazon Prime or anything in the industry trades like Variety or Hollywood Reporter.
The Metro Weekly interview isn't new. I posted the print version here about 2 weeks ago, and nothing in it guarantees a sequel. No source points to Casey already writing it either.
Matthew's been asked about a sequel since the film's release and he's always pretty much just said the same thing. Sort strikes first, only if Nick and Taylor are on board, only if he and Casey can come up with a good idea.
It's important to note that the strike is still on-going with no end in sight. I will say that with the success the film has had (and is continuing to have), I'm sure there are discussions at Prime about a sequel, but whether those will be fruitful is anyone's guess.
In a gist – no, it's not definite we're getting a sequel and if we do, we'd probably only hear about it some time after the strike ends.

She had been avoiding him like the plague, barely directing him two words, and he imagined he was to blame and the way he talked to her before. But she still came over to help out. Just avoided him.
He crossed the Portal to his home, exiting straight into his bedroom, to avoid any commotion. He'd tell the rest of the house Lucas was over, later. He looked around the room.

There's some dude (derogatory) on FB who is PISSED people are pricing their farm fresh eggs at $2 and $3 a dozen instead of $4+, saying it's "disrespectful" and "undignified" and "I'm trying to feed my kids" like Sir, you are on a Facebook group page bitching about your neighbors egg prices because your pet chickens aren't earning you a living wage and you think it's your neighbors' fault, you do not have a leg to stand on here wrt dignity.
Also half the answers are like "I give them to friends and family free" or "I donate them to food banks" or "I'm making them affordable to folks who might not otherwise be able to get them now that they're so expensive in the store" and "if you think you're going to turn a profit keeping backyard chickens you have been wildly misled" and so on, and so forth, and I'm so living for it.
and I can tell you right now, he did NOT like my answer of "if you're trying to feed your kids, I hear eggs are edible."
#chickens#like buddy you are never going to actually make a profit#and if by some miracle you do#it's going to be VERY SMALL#Considering the money you put into building or buying a coop#plus feed and bedding and equipment (waterers feeders perches etc) costs#egg cartons and enrichment and gas to go get the feed#the cost you (personally) probably put into building the egg stand you mentioned#a 50lbs bag of feed will feed 12 adult chickens for 8 days#12 chickens generally lay 6-12 eggs per day#usually less in the fall and may even stop in winter#a 50lb bag of feed is usually $12-15#and you wasted the first 6 months going eggless until they were old enough to lay#and that doesn't factor in oyster shell or anything else you may need to do for them#like worming or treating for coccidia or anything#and doesn't take into account your time#like asjh;dsfkgdh you really thought you were gonna make a buck doing this???#wank for ts

Sure have!#I forgot how long it takes for Chimera Falin to come into play.#I still really love my 'better drawn' art of her - unfortunately it was several weeks too early for the anime only folks.#Slowly getting the hang of drawing Laios. I don't know why I struggle so much but I am getting...somewhere.#Meta time: God damn I love how the chimera shows off the expertise and gap between Kabru and Laios.#The truth is: they are both *right* and they are both *wrong*.#This creature is a combination of monster and human and they only have the skillset to deal with one of those.#Kabru goes for all the human vitals - but she isn't human.#Laios tries to approach her as a monster and is struck down by the humanity he sees in her.#She is something new that defies what they *both* understand about the world. And that makes her such a perfect antagonist.#The damsel was the dragon all along!#...She is really so cute though. Terrifying! But adorable. I am so excited to see the boom of fanart for her.

I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them

#star trek#Vulcans#Humans#not based on a specific thing#but I used to know this annoying couple that were ‘family friends’#who would show up to potluck dinners and the like and would either bring nothing or bring something really just. out of left field?#like a bag of frozen chicken to a bbq#and then proceed to make sure they are first even if it was stated to let kids go first#would take HUGE amounts before anyone else got a chance to get a plate#and then make off with the leftovers again even if they were already claimed for#and it wasn’t a food insecurity thing trust me I would never speak bad about a person getting food if that was even a remote chance#the adults who raised us knew them really well and we’d been to their house a ton of times#they were just dicks#and yeah. they’d occasionally insult the food. while eating the MAJORITY of it.#it was so weird at their home they would go out of their way to get the healthiest options possible#you know the really bland tasteless expensive stuff that apparently was healthier#but then if they were visiting our house they would. eat all our unhealthy snacks.#that always pissed me off so much as a kid because we actually had a food insecurity thing going on#and also a variety of other reasons that are a bit too depressing to bring up on this post#but anyways we’d hardly ever get to have nice snacks#and this couple would just take them all??? even after we’d tell them repeatedly that it was ours and those snacks weren’t gonna be#replaced#hated that couple#if you’re wondering why they were ‘family friends’ it’s because the couple who raised us#(it feels weird to type it out like that but apparently legal guardians doesn’t fit since they never finished petitioning 💀)#liked having them around because it made them look like ‘such great Christian’s’ being nice to the people#that no one else wanted to be friends with#I always thought that was a really weird and fucked up reason to be friends with someone#this got long sorry 😭
