Papa wore a boxing suit thingy to get through the crowd 😭
there were dancing skeletons that picked him up at one point lmaoo
there were some ghoulettes that played this really nice song and papa sang If You Have Ghosts (and barked at the beginning lol)
mummy thrust 😍
Amon Amarth wasn’t there but it was still amazing
nothing happened to copia but he did say “it’s almost the end of an era….” :((((
overall, the concert was amazing and I cannot believe I got to breathe the same air as my husbandddd

Which members promotions were your favorite so far? Hobi might win for me because that listening party was super fun and Lollapalooza was crazy. Also More sits at the same table as SMFpt2 for me as far as being really shocking and exciting when it dropped!

Nothing beats Yoongi’s D-DAY tour for me. My god what an experience. I was fortunate to attend multiple stops and I still have fever dreams in the middle of the day remembering how hard I was screaming along to Burn It and Huh, how my friend burst into tears during Snooze, how I choked up a bit during Life Goes On and finally lost it on The Last. The encore tours gave me the emotional equivalent of a blood transfusion. Seeing Jimin, Namjoon, and Jungkook on stage in a proper concert setting for the first time in almost a year, was really the best parting gift and I’ll always be grateful to Yoongi for it. I love that man very, very much.
That cute practice session Yoongi did for the ‘I’m so cute’ or whatever challenge with Jimin too, subbing ARMYs with screaming plushies and the live he did reading fan messages teasing us about his seven tattoo… and then that cheeky reveal after the tour ended…
Yoongi gave me everything and more with his album and the tour.
Other members too:
- SeokJin going to Argentina to promote The Astronaut with Coldplay was incredible. The planning and organizing behind that feat couldn’t have been easy but somehow they made it work and LatAm ARMYs were finally able to see at least one Tannie for the first time in a long while. That really was amazing.
- Taehyung’s Tiny Desk performances are 🤌🏽
- I loved how Jimin really thought outside the box with his promotions, choosing to go on many really fun Korean variety shows. These are shows BTS either hadn’t done ever or in something like 5 years. A lot of my K-ARMY friends loved how Jimin seemed to prioritize them fully in ways that hadn’t been done for a while.
- I tried hard to attend Joon’s small concert but work commitments didn’t allow that possibility, but I also really love his promotion choices. My partner (surprisingly) has become a tiny bit obsessed with Joon’s Tiny Desk performance lol, so I suspect Joon has gained a new fan.
- Think I’ve already talked about how Hobipalooza was the concert highlight of 2022 for me. Hobi had such a short time to put everything together, and I’m proud of him for going out of his comfort zone a bit sending out invites and throwing the launch party. I loved seeing him just celebrate his success, seeing the other members chill out and have a good time.
- It was nice seeing that at least one member did not forget Europe exists with their promotions (😭), so I’m glad Jungkook could make the trip over to promote Seven in the UK.
The rapline’s album projects are easily some of the best releases this year in any genre for me. And I’m not even trying to be biased. Corroborated by critics reviews, each album is a solid, cohesive, and cerebrally stimulating piece of art and I’m so proud of them for putting it together. It’s easy to see how BTS has become the biggest band in the world when you have these three men who can stand as respected artists in their own right, being the bedrock of the music created by BTS for the last 10 years.
Jimin’s debut with FACE ended k-pop in 2023. I’m not sure if you’re aware, but the industry as we know it, life as we know it, Jimin as we knew him, ended in March 2023. What Jimin did with Set Me Free Pt 2 still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. That song was a warning shot, a small mercy to the industry to warn them in advance of who Jimin is prepared to become as a solo artist and as Jimin of BTS, and I cannot overstate how excited I am for his next project. FACE as an album is the complete package. His songs are just good. Like, actually good. Good enough to play anywhere and any time. That’s the kind of music Jimin makes. Imagine hearing Face-off in a concert arena… imagine hearing the intro play before he comes on stage. Can you even imagine….
Lol I’m starting to hurt myself with these imagines.
Taehyung’s album too is very good (though these days it only gets plays from me in the evenings). And while Seven isn’t my favorite release, it’s still a well made song that Jungkook of course has done a phenomenal job with. Twice now he’s had to promote it outdoors in very bad weather and he’s kept his vocals stable and well projected. He’s working hard and I’m hoping it translates well into work done for his solo album debut later this year.
I have almost no complaints in the debut solo showcases from all the members, in their promotion styles, and in the overall presentation. These albums were all very decent and respectable first showings from the members of the biggest group in the world. The response from the general public and professional critics has been very favourable, and the fandom has supported each member to be as successful as one would expect for anyone from BTS.
I’m a very happy ARMY in Chapter 2 ^_^

guy i’m actual at so happy rn. so thankfully i was able to snatch a ticket for enhypen in tacoma (i live in seattle) and i’m so happy bc not only will i get to see them perform but jay gets to come home and show the members where he grew up 😭 bro I’m gonna sob, it’ll be an emotional day for me bc i genuinely never thought they would come here but i’m so happy that they are. It was also just announced that Jay, heeseung and niki will be throwing the first pitch for the mariners game (seattles baseball team) the day after the concert (april 29th) and i’m so happy for them and jay bc he missed home and has loved the mariners since he was little, it just warms my heart that he will get to come back with his members 😖 anyway, i just wanted to share. i was not meaning to brag or gloat in anyway, i’m sorry if it came off that way I’m just super excited.
also if you are feeling doubtful or upset about not being able to get tickets for this tour (or for any group/tour), stay positive! again, like i said, i never thought they would come here, and i’m not financially able to fly to see groups so hearing this news made me so happy! there is always next tour to try and even if you don’t get the best seats, being there is all that matters! have hope and don’t keep doubt that you won’t be able to see them because i was doing the same thing until now <3 stay positive !!

I'm sure you've mentioned this before in previous chapters, and I just don't remember, but Will doesn't speak Greek, right?? So does that mean that Apollo never taught him, or was his greek just not good enough to teach him? 😭😭 (ignoring the fact that Apollo had neither the mentality nor the will to teach his son a foreign language at the time)
Orrr, I feel like it's very possible that Apollo just isn't very fluent in Greek anymore bc he doesn't have anyone to talk to. Also, bc he hasn't actually been in Greece in years but like idk

ahshhd omg i love this question!! i don’t think ive ever talked about it so the short answer is that no, will doesn’t know greek, he only knows a high school level spanish in this au😭
i actually imagine that apollo didn’t grow up in greece, but in the us (specifically la/hollywood)
his mom probably tried to teach it to him (bc leto is the literal best) but with everything else that he had going on, he just didn’t have the time to ever learn it - his dad always focused more on all of his other hobbies/jobs and his schedule was overloaded enough as it was
but i do imagine that in those years when raising will, he tried to learn it again, just to get in touch with his roots. this is also probably when he first read like the iliad and the odyssey bc i doubt that he read it when he was younger (once again, schedule overload) and generally just tried to learn more abt his heritage and stuff, bc his dad never really brought it up to him
he had been to greece a few times, once for the olympics and a few times for concerts, but he was never really around much to sight see (which, if you noticed, is why i had him going to tourist attractions with nico in athens, when most of the time he tends to stay in the venue or the hotel or tour bus to avoid attention/paparazzi)
but back to the main question - apollo didn’t try to teach will greek bc he was just barely learning it himself, but im sure he’d definitely want will to learn it one day - especially when he would see leo fluent in spanish and nico fluent in italian and thinking how it would be nice to connect will to his culture as well
as for nico, i promise he definitely holds on to italian as a connection to bianca - the last remaining one, too. i think that sometimes he gets scared that he’s abt to forget it, or sometimes his mind will blank on a word and he’ll be terrified (which, tbf, happens in all languages, im bilingual (or trilingual if u count my ap french class which i don’t😭) and forgetting words happens no matter how much u practice) - and so he’ll just talk to himself in italian a bit
i ALSO imagine that whenever he’s talking solely to chiara, they speak in italian. he probably was very excited to hire her for the tour when finding out she was also from italy, and they’re able to sort of keep that going even when traveling the world!
i think by this point, apollo is nearly fluent in greek, but like, the textbook sort of knowing a language. like, he’s memorized all the vocab and grammar and stuff but he’d be a bit clueless in an actual conversation. him attempting to practice his greek in athens would def be hilarious and now i’m sort of upset i didn’t write that💀💀

oh ALSO. ONE OF MY FAV HC’S ABT NICO is that he absolutely loves studying languages. despite being dyslexic, he picks the speaking and understanding part of languages up super easily
so i’m just imagining nico and apollo on the tour bus learning new languages together and nico picking up greek as well so they’ll sometimes try to have conversations in that as well just to practice
they both definitely have duolingo downloaded and are constantly trying to beat each other on the leaderboards

i had my registration recently and i signed up for ap physics.... i am literally so afraid. is it hard? i'm gonna pee my pants because everyone i know tells me that it's hard, and everyone that i think is smart keeps telling me to not take it
tbc although i do okay in the class, im not really atuned to anything STEM, clearly my passion is language lol

YES I AM GOING TO THE ANEHEIM CONCERT i’m actually shaking but now we all know where i’ll be on valentine’s day this year (clicking at a speed so fast that my velocity is unmatched on ticketmaster)… i’m hoping to get first row lower bowl so i am quite literally crossing all of my fingers 🤞🤞 but i also think that it’s really horrible how belift isn’t letting them rest though like??? with extended tours, back to back comebacks, and everything else that they do it’s pretty crazy and i just want them to rest for a solid 2 months like let them BREATHE ⁉️⚠️
for ap physics, it can be really challenging at times but for me it’s really fun and rewarding too :) don’t be afraid of it!! i think focusing on understanding the concepts itself is SUPER important, instead of trying to blindly apply the equations and freaking out when you don’t know what to plug in (said with personal experience). doing a TON of practice problems is also really important; i do at least 3 full mcq + frq sets for a unit before the unit test, and it really works!! (though i literally had to use post-study jungwon giggle hours as an incentive to finish 😭)
main takeaway of ap physics is to not expect to know every problem on the test because it’s completely normal— in almost all cases there’s a curving system of some sorts because the average scores on tests are always like 60% 💀 but i’d say that scoring 70+ raw score (which is like 85-100 with the curve) is pretty normal, plus you’ll have labs to cushion your grade too :)

my sweetest love zadie!! i bought wifi on the plane so i could send you asks and read the newest chap which is the first smut scene in this smau and when i tell u i am SAT!!!! got myself a lil beverage and ready to dive in🤭🤭
before i do that, wanted to share w/ you my fate in taipei experience which was an absolute dream!!! there were some issues w/ getting to and from the venue but those were all made up for when i saw our babies🥹 i told you about d1 soundcheck w/ wonie & jake already, so then during the show my friends and i had a sign that said “hot girls love 02z” and jake was eating that up😭 he called jay & hoon over to see it and they loved it, i swear i blacked out after that bc the next thing i remember is chaconne, which never gets old seeing it live!!
for d2 soundcheck jake recognized me & my friends and was like “where’s the sign?” we were saving it to bring out for the show just like in d1 but since jake asked, he received so we took the sign out and he blew us kisses😭😭 ni-ki saw our disposable and posed for it so i’m hoping those develop nicely also!!! all in all it was such an amazing experience as always, i love our babies so much it was so sweet seeing them on stage and happy🥹🫶🏻

Ok so… I saw Louis yesterday 😭 tbh I’m still processing it because he is the first concert I attended to in years and I was very anxious about it 🫣 I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s easy to say that Louis exceeded my expectations by miles!! This will be long 🫠
It all started a few months ago when Ceci @uruwhy gave me the idea to go Buenos Aires’ concert, since at the moment Peru wasn’t in the tour. I obviously say yes since I didn’t want to miss the chance to see him live and I started to arrange my trip and holiday so I could also have some days in the city.
Months passed and the day finally arrived!!! Me and Ceci arranged to stay at the same hotel and spend a day together, which was lovely!! We met Friday night… hugged as if we were friends from many years, walked through one of the main’s streets and just talk and talk and talk! The next day she joined me in the Bombonera’s stadium tour and we took lots of pictures in Caminito, a colourful place 💛🧡 we had lunch and then took the subte (underground) towards the venue!!! There were many Louies wearing merch there too, which indicated us we were in the right train 😂
We arrived and saw a VERY VERY LONG LINE!! Like… seas of people!! We obviously realised we weren’t going to be in the front 🪦 but we were chilling, just enjoying our company and trying to buy merch… when we see a commotion! A lot of louies were running and screaming so we also run towards that direction and we saw OLI!!!! Who is so HOT!!!!! He was unbothered hahah he didn’t pay attention to our screams but he is just… hotter than we expected! He looked so good in white and his cap.
We also met Vane @lou1e ❤️❤️ who is so sweet and kind!! I’m so happy that she was at the barricade in the Paraguay show! She truly deserved it!!! ❤️
After that special moment we decided to eat and drink something before the show so we wouldn’t get hungry during the concert. After that we saw people were starting to enter the venue so we patiently waited to our turn to enter. Paz was singing and she was so lovely!! Like she seemed so nice and excited for the opportunity! So sweet and her voice is so good!! We truly enjoyed her set!! After we were extra anxious because only 1:30h for Louis 😭 Sunroom came and the crowd went wild! We were concerned because the venue was very very warm and there was no aircon nor ventilation so it was understandable that some fans were feeling poorly and fainted 😭 fortunately security reacted quickly and could help them.
Then Louis came and we just SCREAMED LIKE CRAZY!!! Like I think I couldn’t believe it! We weren’t super close but I could clearly see his face and his curves and everything! He sounds so perfect!! It amazed me how PERFECT he sounded!! Like so much better than the album 😭 my baby 😭 I felt like a proud mother tbh 😂 the crowd was so LOUD!!! I’m pretty sure I’m dead hahaha I also had a sore throat because I didn’t stop screaming with everything I got! It’s been a while since I’ve felt this carefree and the adrenaline stay with me during the whole night!! It was a crazy experience! There were times I couldn’t hear Louis because the crowd was mega loud 😭 there was a moment when everyone was chanting Perfect Now except for me and ceci since we were screaming Just Hold On 😂 and then we thought he forgot to take the picture so I yelled: Y LA FOTO??? So obviously Louis listened to me since shortly after that he said: ok let’s take a pic 🫣
The concert ended way too soon 😭 me and Ceci walked through the streets feeling so sad it was over 😭 but the funny thing was that our night wasn’t over since our taxi driver played us Louis’ music during our trip and we talked about him and hopefully we turn him into a Louie since he seemed a Harrie 🪦 and maybe a Larrie??? Haha I think the bald man knew way too much 😂

I’m so jealous, the band didn’t stick around to meet fans on the first date in Baltimore but it seems like they’ve gone out at every single other show 😭 I’m so sad I didn’t get to meet him, there was only a couple of us waiting there but they went right to their hotel apparently!
omg, don't feel too bad - i'll give you the quick (edit: lol) rundown of my experience:
NYC: I didn't know where the backstage entrance/exit was until after the show, and I was too anxious about it all/too excited to talk to some folks I met at Zorn@70 to scope out trying to meet them coming in...after the concert, Scott and Trey came over to say hi, Dave, Mike and Trevor went straight to the car.
Montclair: it fuckn rained most of the afternoon...I get the feeling they went in for soundcheck early and then never went out again before the show. I had a long, chill, lunch/dinner. I think bc the venue was smallish, and maybe security wasn't like....super serious with their briefing, AND the boys had the day off the next day, AND there was a jazz festival the same day so they had to like, walk of shame/fame over to the parking lot where the vehicles were...Mike felt comfortable enough to say hi to folks on the walk...at the place I was waiting there was literally just me and one other guy (the obvious fan) with his gf. There were also maybe a couple of people waiting on the parking lot end? But I bet not a crowd at all. (That night I was just like....laser focused on getting the belt to Mike....I think everybody in the band did some fan-greets)
Boston: I kid you not, it was just pure dumb-fuck luck that we ran into them coming into soundcheck. All I was actually doing was showing off where the tour bus was parked (that I saw on the way to the venue) and taking a walk around the block....and there they were! Security stopped us, but again, I dunno, maybe because they had the day off before, maybe because Mike was loopy as apparently he hadn't eaten all day, maybe he knew he was getting his Pig and Hip friends in a sec so he was in a good mood, but he said yes when I asked if we could come say 'hi', and security let us through. After the show, I definitely did not want to bother them again, but I was super curious what the band would do, so I hung out after the show, but back a ways - everybody except Trevor got into the car and booked it pretty soon after the show (they had to drive to Montreal). Trevor for some reason came out much later and straight up chatted with whoever was left, and no one seemed to take any selfies, so I kind of wonder if they knew him or were connected to him in some way??
So like, out of three shows, only at one of them did the band as a whole (and mike at all) come out and say hi to fans. And to be honest, if circumstances had been slightly different, it could have been 0/3. It feels a little shitty of me to have this perspective, since I did get to talk to him twice (also to be super honest, he definitely did not recognize me the second time, why would he?), but I dunno...if things were different, and I didn't get to meet him at all, I would like to think that would be ok...these old fucks have to live that tour life (asshole-tight schedules, sleeping on coffin-sized bunk beds on the bus), they really don't have to come over after the show. I will say, I was NOT lucky enough to get a whiff of that bastard, so like, can't have everything!!!

i wasnt super close up and my camera sucks absolute ass and also i was so excited for skz i literally just forgot to film anything except maniac but. quick music bank recap:
nmixx were so fuckin cute i loved them, they did love me like this, o.o and young dumb stupid. they seemed really nervous at first but got more confident when they saw how many people responded to their songs.
mamamoo was amazing as always, like i know people say this all the time but they are such amazing singers but also they are just great live performers. like it was a venue full of 40k mostly 4th gen bg stans (and lbr mamamoo kinda make music for 30sth women who are single on purpose) but they managed to deliver something that connected with the crowd in 4 songs.
there was a special stage of nmixx doing TT and p1harmony did 2 baddies which was so fucking funny, and then them and cravity did that that by psy which was also really fun bc it got the hall going so much
enha had a little polaroid special stage and solar from mamamoo sang the ratatouille song 😭 and the boyz also sang one of their OSTs
i saw both ive and enhypen last year for kpop flex too and both of the groups have improved SO much when performing like this, like the nerves were wayyy less noticeable. ive did kitsch and all their titles and another song. enha really developed stage presence since then and also a big fanbase in france it seems..
skz were last up and the DIFFERENCE in noise… truly most people were there for skz and u did notice… highlights were mostly hyunjin being INSANELY happy, like i know he always gets excited on stage but it seemed like another level today. the venue cameraperson fuckin loooved jisung which i’m obviously never mad at. changbin looked AMAZING and so did chan like i dont say this lightly but stuling was goood today. felix tried to say a few words in french at the beginning and just forgot them, he did not get his sentence out but it was soso cute. hyunjin was the bounciest happiest little slinky and genuinely did not want to leave either time they got off stage.
they started with 143 then maniac then gods menu (people went IN.SANE) and then miroh and is2g the ground was shaking when they did miroh, jisung hyped everyone into the ‘stray kid hoo’ and that was insane too. miroh energy was crazy and it was the best end to such a fun concert
standouts were definitely mamamoo and skz, the boyz and ab6ix were a close second imo, the rest of them were really fun too and there were a lot of engenes so enhypen had an extra energy boost too but yeah they didnt grip me as much, but tbh i’m just always a bit underwhelmed by them so it might just be bias.

(both of them update on the same day too so that's lucky for me LOL) but i recently found this new webtoon called muse on fame and i am Very Invested already!!! i also keep up w hello baby, go away romeo, operation: true love, maybe meant to be, the guy upstairs, get schooled!, perfect marriage revenge, there must be happy endings, dark moon: the blood altar, and marry my husband!! plus a lot of daily pass ones like designated bully, reality quest etc. OH and i don't even like horror but i found this rlly good dystopian one called everything is fine! it's currently on hiatus but i m super excited for the next season! i might also start purple hyacinth bc it's on hiatus rn and i can catch up quickly! beyond virtual is also rlly cool but it's also on hiatus rn unfortunately :(

but to answer your question about the bag, for my arena specifically, we’re not allowed to bring bags over a certain size (it was like 14” x 14” x smth else djdjdjd) so i’m just bringing a small purse with things like my keys, hand sanitizer, my phone ofc, chapstick and lipstick, a pen that i always keep in my bag skdjd, an extra mask, tissues, oh yEAH AND MY WALLET SJDJDJ ,, and yk just the basics and essentials. no outside food or drinks are allowed in our arena so i’m just gonna be bringing a plastic water bottle so i don’t get dehydrated since i’m going early and i could just recycle it before i get in. but your arena/venue or whatever could have different rules, so i recommend looking it up before concert day. hope this helps !! ^_^

i’m new to the fandom and got my first tickets for one of their US shows and have pit (super excited but i’m going alone so nervous!!). should I be concerned though regarding US shows? 😭
Oh hun I don’t wanna worry you. A lot of it is just my own personal anxiety about things. I’m going alone to one of my concerts as well and have pit. I’m not sure how new you are but when tour first started, the Michigan shows were an absolute mess. People fighting in the pit, stealing merch, peeing, fighting over getting barricade, trashed venues…it wasn’t a good look. I hope tonight will be better for everyone. I don’t want a repeat of all that.
