So the idea of ‘offspring’ has been a long batted around idea among the fandom, especially as far as Vinnie and Charley goes. And we get asked a lot ‘what would their kids look like?’ The show never quite addresses the idea of whether or not interspecies procreation is possible, but man, they really do push that interspecies attraction is definitely unquestionable, lol.

So let’s ask the fans.

There seems to be 3 main schools of thought on this:

🔹That Vinnie and Charley are capable of and can have natural children together, creating offspring that are a complete hybridization of human and Martian mouse genetics and looks

🔸That Vinnie and Charley are capable of and can have natural children together, but that it follows ‘Bojack Horseman’ world-building type rules, where offspring come out either completely human or Martian mouse, taking their appearance from only one parent

🔹Or lastly, that they can’t naturally have children together and that they would adopt, specifically orphans from Mars.

Us? We like any and all of these ideas. Though we like to headcanon that Vinnie wants a little boy to raise to be a little hellraiser version of himself, but keeps getting girls that he constantly worries about hurting themselves and worries about guys hitting on them like he always did with the ladies, lol.

Apritello was never really my jam. I was an 80s kid so I was always team Capril because of the original live-action film originally. If she was ever gonna end up in a turtle-ship, I was always more inclined towards Raphril.

I’ve been seeing more and more people come out lately and talk about how cringe 2012 Apritello was. And let’s be real, adults really wrote a teenage crush all kinds of weird and creepy and the mistake was on the part of the show’s writers. The idea of the ship as a whole there is absolutely nothing wrong with! It was just executed poorly.

But to you Apritello lovers out there, I see you, I get you! Keep loving what you love and use your own head canons and newer iteration canons to ‘fix’ the parts that the studio writers made problematic. Your ship is valid 💪

Why does he seem so determined to ruin Lan Wangji’s summer? Aka, mischievous octopus-merperson Wei Wuxian has a crush on cute human volunteer, Lan Zhan. He decides to court him. Kay's comments: A great modern with cultivation story featuring octopus merperson Wei Wuxian, who falls in love with Lan Wangji first and decides to court him! Unfortunately, Lan Wangji didn't get the memo yet and needs a little longer until he too falls in love. It's a very funny story, filled with cute misunderstandings and some really cool world-building! Excerpt: A boy is staring back at him, cheeks puffed out and eyes wide. He looks young, about Lan Wangji’s age, but mostly he looks surprised. Which is exactly how Lan Wangji feels, because now that he’s here, he doesn’t know what to do. He didn’t expect this octopus to have dark grey eyes, striking cheekbones, or full, pink lips. In fact, he can’t remember what he expected at all. All he knows is that his mouth is dry, his stomach is vaguely nauseous, and he can’t stop staring. Lan Wangji suddenly regrets everything. This whole plan is childish. What’s he supposed to do now—say “boo” and let the octopus go? Fortunately, he doesn’t have to decide. Lips puckering, the octopus shoots a stream of water right into Lan Wangji’s face. Lan Wangji falls backward, spluttering. His ears are hot and the water is salty on his lips. With a delighted cackle, the octopus ducks beneath the surface, leaving behind only a series of choppy ripples. Unruly! Disrespectful! Unhygienic! Uncouth! These words play in Lan Wangji’s head later that day as he storms around the Center, angrily unpacking supplies and wiping down surfaces. He wishes he could go to his brother. He’d love vindication, but that would also require explaining his immature plan. So he keeps to himself, exuding such a pissed-off aura that everyone avoids him.

Kobolds, Gobelliin, and occasionally Gnomes are often viewed as pests. They get everywhere, or they keep turning up. They have a knack for being in placed where other beings are unlikely to go. They exist, more or less, in the cracks where civilisation often doesn't look.

Haddercleft had excellent territory for goats, but shit for anything else. They eked out an existence from people passing through their mountains, and was generally another little place where heroes came from. Until someone put their foot in the wrong place and discovered the Kobold burrow.

Some might say they made the mistake of giving the cluster of Kobolds some of their cheese. Or... they would have at the time. Kindness to the Unwelcome is generally repaid by the kind of undying loyalty that becomes socially inconvenient.
