I really liked the characters and how they are a combination of animals and humans which depicts the essence of Hindu Mythology. Story plot and sequence is very interesting and well built, keeps readers engaged throughout. Author has penned down all her emotions and feelings she experienced with people and periodic events in her life. Some are Good and bad too. While reading you strongly realise that this poems are an emotions of author poured on paper. Poems solely give justice to the title of the book "𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 ❤️". 🌷Though all the poems do not follow the ideal method of using rhyming words but are immensely heart touching and I think that's the uniqueness of them. Sketches used for each poem to describe the feel of the situation is just amazing. Today I want to tell you a happy story. I recently had an author visit at J. B. Petit School for “The Story Circle”. The kids were really happy with the reading, and two days later at their PTM, their parents could come pick up signed copies of it. Now I’ll be honest. I didn’t know whether I should go. Like, how many kids would remember? How many parents would? I’ve done the whole stalls selling books before for “The First Storyteller” and “Believe” before, and the result has been depressing. But I underestimated myself. These young girls, literally dozens of them, all gave their parents strict instructions to buy the book. The kids who came for the PTM rushed in almost as soon as they stepped into the school to check whether my book was available. Their parents told me how much they had gushed about me when they were home. They were getting calls in front of me where their kids were repeating my name to them. I told a girl that if I became famous, then my signed copy would be worth a lot later. She folded her arms and said she would never sell it. It’s a big turnaround for someone who had thought he would never be able to write again. For someone who believed he would never find his audience. The audience finds you if you keep trying. And I got the courtesy copy as well thanks to @imaginative_daybook_official So, I am super excited to review this book. 🍀She was my number 4 is a short story about a guy named Abhinav Roy, his best friend Avik and his four serious girlfriends. Abhinav is lively, humorous , sensitive and a flirty kind of boy but he do take his commitments seriously. 🍀Abhinav happended to fall in love with four girls one after the other over a period of time. He is a nice boy but somehow for different reasons girls leave out of his life. Abhinav always believed in numbers, according to him "𝐿𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑎 𝑛𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟" 🍀The last girl is Sree Bose and he believed that she is meant to be with him forever coz she was his number 4 so he waited patiently for her to return in his life. 🍀Love can be tricky subject but connecting it with numerology was a fascinating perspective. The story was vividly imagining, writing style was little amature; could have been better but I could make a pass on this as its a debute novel. I really enjoyed the interactive narration of the story.
