A Happy Update

In the Seom has responded to fan's concerns and changed the dialogue to more accurately reflect Yoongi and Jimin's characters and past conversations.

While speaking of insecurities is healthy and normal, hopefully now the company will never again casually imply BTS could ever be anything but all 7 of our beloved and exceptionally talented artists.

I'm not really sure how to say this, but if you think what's written in that game is shocking to you for Jimin, wait till you see what Jimin and BTS, say and do in BTS's original content. You know, the Bangtan Bombs, documentaries, lives, etc that we all say we've watched, especially the ones in their earlier years pre-2016. I don't think there's anything in those screenshots that's saying something anybody who has kept up with Jimin for years doesn't know. It's part of what makes his growth so remarkable, IMO. Jimin is nobody's victim and he's shown he belongs in BTS as much as any of the other members.

Perhaps the language in English might seem harsh to some, it doesn't seem that way to me and in Korean it doesn't seem that way at all. It sounds more 'firm', than 'harsh'. And for anyone who isn't aware, the Seom game references BTS original content a lot for their scenes. All the members have dialogue scenes that delve into events that have happened or issues they dealt with. I don't play the game regularly but all you need to do to confirm this is play the game yourself or ask someone else. That dialogue is old news, and really, no news. *EDIT to add: If HYBE is pushing a narrative in the game then it's the same narrative they've pushed in their original content for 10 years, and we all agree it shows Jimin's growth as an artist and person.

I noticed the link you sent is for a solo stan's account so I took a look, and yeah that account is more or less their standard fare. I mean, in addition to those screenshots from the game that person is trying to paint in a sinister light, that person thinks this quote is also further proof of 'HYBE' hating Jimin. Like, only an akgae thinks like that.

These are people only capable of thinking in one way for anything that concerns Jimin in BigHit, everything they write is to communicate their assertion that Jimin is unvalued in his team, and if anyone can't see that low-effort attempt at manipulation coming from a mile away, then they're frankly a lost cause tbh.

That's really all I have to say about that.
