a/n: hello! i have not wrote in a while but here is a headcanon! in the months i have been gone i have met enha irl at kcon and also saw them in concert two times!! requests are open! please look at the guidelines before submitting!

「 heeseung 」

he would probably hum a tune, using his lovely raspy voice in the morning. he knows you love when he talks to you the first thing in the morning because of the rasp in his voice. you will try to pretend to still be asleep just to hear his voice for a little bit longer but he will catch on pretty quickly. as you lay on his chest, you can feel the vibrations of his laugh. peeking through one eye, you are met with heeseung side eyeing you. “you know you can just ask me to sing to you whenever you want, you know i’ll always do it.”

「 jay 」

he is the type to rub your back (assuming that your back is facing him or is facing up). if you were to be laying on his chest, he would trace random shapes onto your back, wondering how long it will be until you would be awake. he already finds himself excited to cook breakfast for the both of you and see the lovely smile that adorns your face when there is your favorite food in front of you. after getting bored of tracing shapes, he will begin to write your name and his on your back (maybe even add a heart in the middle of it: y/n <3 jay). he wishes to have many more mornings like this.

「 jake 」

jake would probably just stare at you in awe while you sleep facing him. he is literally stunned. he isn’t the type to laugh at how you are positioned, he would just look at you and immediately think you are the cutest thing ever. if any of the members walk in to jake just staring at you, they would think it’s creepy at how he is facing you. it would look as if a child saw santa in real life right in front of them. he could care less though, but either way, he would never be the one to ruin your sleep. either you’re waking up yourself or some loud noise will, never him.

「 sunghoon 」

sunghoon would tap your cheek lightly or tap any skin that is exposed (out of the blanket that was covering you). if your feet was dangling outside of your blanket, he would go over and tap your feet a couple of times to wake you up. if tapping you doesn’t work, he would definitely jump on your bed next to you because of how impatient he is. sunghoon would bug the living shit out of you if you didn’t wake up to his first attempts.

「 sunoo 」

sunoo would definitely wake you up with a happy smile, telling you what the plans are for the day knowing damn well you can’t understand what he is saying. he would open the curtains to let the sunlight in, and if you don’t have any he would turn on your lights. he comes in singing a little tune, not like heeseung though. he would sing it obnoxiously but in a funny way to ensure he is the first thing you hear when you start your day.

「 jungwon 」

jungwon would wake you up by slowly pulling the blankets off your body. like how he woke up jay in that one en o’clock episode. he would grab your hands and pull you up with all his might. you would try to lie back down but he is quick to grab your arms and pull you up again. he would sit right in front of you and brush back your hair from your face in hopes of waking you up. (fun fact, this actually makes you sleepy even more).

「 niki 」

niki would be a menace waking you up. he would make sure that your sleep would be interrupted no matter what. you guys have a joking and playful relationship and this includes when your sleeping or when he is sleeping. he would definitely pull the blankets off you in an aggressive way, especially when the temperature is in the negatives in your room. you would groan trying to find the blankets only to find him running away with it while laughing manically.

Synopsis: Jake is feeling insecure, and as his girlfriend, it's important to comfort him and make him feel valued.

Pairing: Jake x Fem!reader

Genre: A heartwarming blend of fluff and comfort fic.

Warnings: Mild kissing, tender comforting, emotional vulnerability from Jake, and that's all.

"Jake, are you in there?" It's been over an hour and your boyfriend has still not left the bathroom, you were getting a little worried so you decided to check on him.

"Yes! I'll be out in five." You heard from the other side, "Are you okay? You've been in there for a long time?"

"Yes, I'm okay. Just showering." His voice sounded different but you decided not to press it, "Okay, I'll be in the Kitchen if anything call me, love you." You heard him mutter a quiet 'I love you too ' as you left for the kitchen.

After a few minutes, Jake walked into the kitchen in his usual attire sweatpants and a white tee. You instantly smile seeing your boyfriend's pretty face.

"Have a sit, I made some pasta."

You served Jake and sat opposite of him at the countertop, "So? How is it" you asked excitedly.

"It's good." A plain answer, coming from Jake about your cooking? Something is up. "Hey, Jake, baby, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's all right. I'm just a bit tired." You could tell that was a lie, but you wanted to hear the truth from him.

"Really? Is that all? Nothing else?" You asked, smiling reassuringly while gently rubbing his hand on the countertop.

"Yes, that's all." He lied through his teeth, but you know better than that to fall for his lies.

"Jake, baby, my love, you know you can tell me anything right?" He hummed, "So please tell me the truth, what's wrong?"

He started playing with his food, "yeah, I know. I-it just I don't want to be a burden to you, because of my problems."

"My love, you will never be a burden to me, and as much as I want to know what's bothering you I respect your wishes and if You don't want to you don't have to tell me anything." You took his hand and kissed him on the knuckles.

"What did I do to deserve such an amazing girlfriend?"

"You are an amazing boyfriend, and that's why you have an amazing girlfriend." You playfully winked at him, and he broke out in a bright smile.

"There we go. The prettiest smile on the earth." He chuckled softly.

"Today," he paused, "when you came to my work, my coworkers saw us, and to them, It looked like I wasn't manly enough in our relationship. I heard them say, how you acted, and how you kissed me, and how you told off the rude customer that was mean to me, to them, It seemed like You were the man in our relationship." You nodded letting him know you were listening.

"At first I was offended, at some point, I even felt insecure for not being MANLY enough, but now seeing how your words made me feel calm I do-" he suddenly paused, looking down as a few droplets of tears fell on his pretty face.

"Jake, baby, shh, don't cry." You quickly sat up, going up to him and pulling him into a tight embrace.

"I don't even know why I am crying- gosh this is embarrass-"

"No! It's not embarrassing to cry in front of your girlfriend. Quite the opposite, it's really brave of you that you're showing you're emotions and vulnerable side to me," to say you were mad was an understatement, you were fuming with anger, seeing jakes teary eyes staring up at you, you wanted nothing else but to rip their heads off.

"Tell me their names, I swear to god I will-" Jake laughed softly, and at the sound of his soft laughter all the anger you were feeling was long gone.

"I love you so much, I don't know what I would do without you honestly." He puckered his lips at you. You chuckled softly, he looked like an adorable puppy.

You leaned in connecting your lips, and you could feel him visibly relax.

You both stood and sat there holding each other tightly and moulding your lips together.

From that day forward, you have made it your unwavering mission to never let Jake feel insecure again while he is with you.

Ok, unpopular opinion maybe, and I might get my ass beaten for this (not in a good way 🤣)

I'll start by saying I love JK so, so much. Adore him. Will always support him.

But for me, 3D is a misstep.

My feeling is Hybe should have reconsidered releasing it as it is.

JK's lyrics are fun and sexy. The innuendo is on point. The melody is great and the chorus has excellent sing-along value. Even though I'm not a huge pop music fan, I like the vibe.

The MV dancers are awesome, and I got a kick out of the fire hydrant metaphor.

And in that jacket with nothing under it, JK looks hot enough to melt asphalt.

However....

Including Jack Harlow's rap IMO is a mistake. It sucks, frankly. Not in a good way.

It not only misses the mark on the tone of the rest of the song but his lyrics are really just offensive. Misogynistic. And racial refrences are just... not cricket. It's 2023 not 1995, regardless of what his hairstyle tells you.

His lyrics sound like an incel bragging about their sex life when all they've ever done is watch porn. From his words, I doubt he knows how to please any person but himself.

His message is gross, but its still just... generic. Like he went to urban dictionary for spicy language and then googled how to treat women like shit. There's nothing original about what he's saying. He's not even being gross in an intersting way. It's gross AND boring.

(Jack, if you're reading this, sorry my guy you gotta do better.)

I've been army since 2018 and this is the first BTS song I have tried to find merit in and given up.

I honestly tried to be into it and i just... can't. It doesn't sit well with me.

This is a new experience for me because even when BTS release something i don't immediately love, i still stream and watch and let it sink in, or I work on figuring out what I am missing and why it's ACTUALLY good even if i can't grasp it.

This... it's just... not good, in my opinion.

I have to clarify here...

It isn't about explicit content, i am totally down for that. If anyone read my post on Seven, they will know my response to that song. In a nutshell, I believe all adults who want to, should happily and shamelessly be doing ALL the horizontal tango. Every type, every day, in every way. With anyone and everyone they fancy as long as all parties are informed and consenting adults who are equally enjoying the experience.

Yes. I am all about getting down.

That doesn't mean treating your partners like a body count or using and abusing them with no consideration. That's not cool.

**PSA: please be safe and use protection. Get tested regularly if you have multiple partners. Don't do anything you don't feel good about and dont stay with partners who harm or manipulate you 💜**

Now, back to the smut.

Some criticisms i saw of Seven were about how dirty it was. A few people were upset because JK said fuck, and because he sang about how and when he liked to fuck. But more criticism was levelled at Letto. Why?

It seemed like it was because she's a woman, singing about sex.

Letto totally owns her sexuality and she knows what she wants. I snorted with delight at how deliciously filthy her lyrics were. Some very clever wordplay made her verse so visceral, and pretty shocking to the pearl-clutchers, without her ever saying anything directly. I really enjoyed it.

She was telling us straight up how good she is in bed. Good for her. She totally rocks. And she wasn't disrespecting anyone. She didn't need to do that to make herself cool AF.

The difference between Letto's rap and jack harlow's is that jack sounds like he's just looking at the women he's singing about as a hole to stick his dick in. Women have fought for long enough for equality and respect. They don't need this bullshit. You can sing about getting down, and you can be absolutely filthy and nasty and wild, and you can do it without degrading your partners.

I did read a theory about this song being social commentary on toxic masculinity. You can find it here and you can read it below:

Its not bad as a theory. At least it wouldn't be if Namjoon or Yoongi or Hobi - or Jungkook himself - had written the song. If that were the situation we'd see some inkling of self awareness in the rap, and maybe a hint of character development. But there's none.

Sorry ARMY, this is not the class of lyricism we have come to expect.

If jack is trying to make a social statement^*, or play a character, he is not succeeding in showing any growth or humanity at all. He's really just that stereotype.

In the last few lines, after he offers to fly his victim from Korea to Kentucky, he says "and you ain’t gotta guarantee me nothing I just wanna see if I get lucky."

How considerate...

All I see is zero care factor about the actual person he's trying to get with. Which is quite different from JK's lyrics, which show awareness that he's interacting with a conscious, living human being, not a piece of furniture.

jack follows with "I just wanna meet you in the physical and see if you would touch me"

Ugh. Not with a ten foot pole, douchebag.

And how about, in his first verse "All my ABGs get cute for me"

Good god, really? Is he seriously saying this?

So its a no for me.

The ONLY saving grace is that there's an alternative version which is pretty fun. It's almost as if Hybe knew we would hate the version with jack harlow. Wow, such insight!

Now, i know that's not the only reason they made an alternative. They needed a clean version for US radio play (let's be real, what possible other purpose can this song serve? *°)

But they could have censored jack's... actually they couldn't. The rap verses can't be salvaged. They genuinely have no merit, the only hope for the song is totally removing them.

What does that tell you?

ARMY will no doubt still chart the main track but personally, I would feel morally compromised if i supported that version. So I'll stick to the alternative and hope for better things to come.

^* Stylecaster doesnt think so either. I visited their website to check thr lyrics. They said, of D3, "Meanwhile, Jack Harlow brings the cool with his two verses as he raps about all the women he could pull"

Uh, really? I hope that's intended to be ironic.

*° The MV had only 4.5million views after 12 hours. And we know what brilliant strategists Hybe employs. I am travelling in Korea right now. There was no promo visible here. And it was no accident that it was released at lunchtime on Chuseok - the biggest famiily holiday of the year - when relatively few people in Korea would be available to engage with it. THEY KNEW IT WAS A STINKER.

Well…Yunjin firstly Yunjin is happy about the collaboration. She believes it will boost her career and popularity internationally. She thinks the sound feels brand new and fresh, and is a completely different sound that she’s not used to. She believes that new horizons are coming soon but she could also be quite scared and worried about the publics opininon on the song.

She believes this song would lead to fan wars and disharmony amongst the fandoms, and just overall disapprovement from fans. Yunjin will try to block out the negativity and probably avoid her phone, just to avoid seeing all the comments. Yunjin will feel really emotionally overwhelmed and really upset to be honest.

J-Hopes thoughts : 7oP, KNoS rx, QoP, AoS rx, 9oW rx

Well J-Hope on the other hand will feel quite confident about this. He thinks that the song is really good and that him and yunjins hard work really paid off. J-Hope could also think that the song will lead to spiteful and unnecessary arguments on social media, and just everything will be a mess to be honest.

Apart from this for now, he really did want Yunjin to be in the song, he thinks she’s really talented who’s really career oriented and is also well established! (he seems to be a fan of LSFM to be honest lol)

Well… on the positive note. People like you anon, are all looking forward to fhe collab and are literally just over the moon lol! Everyone feels really confident about this! The public believes that the song will be a success and a good listen.

But unfortunately… the public who are fans of the two idols will not share their honest opinions on the song and not share their thoughts. They’ll think the song is not good enough?! They could thinks it’s a flop or the disliked song on the album?

On the other hand… people who really like the song will have to be HIGHLY defensive, they will be fighting tooth and nail to prove to people that the song is actually good.

As per usual! There will be fan wars for DAYSSS! People attacking each other for hours, bullying, disagreements, arguments. And to be honest, this all stems from jealousy and selfishness.

They could be terrified of having to speak up about because they are aware of the mess it could create.

Unfortunately the WoF rx shows to prove that this will be quite unlucky toward the general public and artists themselves. This whole discourse will probably never be forgotten to be honest, because the fan wars that are going to happen…😬

And I really hope that won’t happen because yea… it’s not a good thing for one (Yunjin) to experience for collaborating with one of the idols who inspired her to be who she is today.

A Rant.

A lot of you have sent me asks about how JK's solo promotions isn't the same as Jimin's and other BTS members, about JK's rumoured all-English album, about BTS doing payola (you can read my views 4th paragraph from the bottom), about how HYBE has apparently destroyed the BTS OT7 agenda...

I don't want to answer y'all for two reasons:

Perhaps some of you are newer followers, but I can only repeat myself so many times. Don't you get bored of hearing me say the same thing over and over again? /gen

I don't share the apprehension, worry, or appetite for speculation and theorizing that I'm seeing from many people on Tumblr and Twitter.

It's very possible I'm the one in La La Land and you all have good reason to be concerned. But the way I see it, a lot of hysteria is being driven by two things: (1) a very myopic pov, as though the time between June 2022 and December 2025 is the most defining period of BTS's solo careers, as though this is the best and only time for any member to make a move, leave their mark, and thrive. And that BTS/BigHit is working on the same timeline.

(2) All these conversations are being driven by people who have brought that toxic hyper-competitive feature of k-pop, inwards, into the group, and now see the members as direct competition in the narrowest and most reductive sense possible.

And I just don't relate.

I don't feel sad for Hobi on how his solo roll-out was 'sabotaged' relative to Jimin's, I don't feel angry for Joon on how his roll-out compared to JK's, I don't feel confused at JK possibly having a full English album, if anything I'm even more excited by how he's pushing himself and I think it suits him given his pronunciation is one of the best in BTS. I know he'll be more involved than with Seven given how long he's been working on his album, I just hope he doesn't sacrifice depth in his artistic and lyrical expression for a shallow, wider reach.

In my very honest opinion.

When BTS talk about wanting to be together for a really really long time, I wonder if people have sat down to really think about what that looks like. Because maybe it's just me, but I don't think it makes sense for a company/group that has operated like BigHit/BTS, to shove their grandest plans for seven individuals into a ~3 year window. Right now, it's JK getting the push, he's been very vocal and consistent about his solo ambitions for the last 4 years, and I'm glad he's getting this shot.

Also,

While I feel BigHit has become bloated and inefficient, the boys are still capable handling their affairs and I feel very comfortable not having all the answers for a business and career that isn't mine.

I have my opinions about how things could be done differently, and I think if people want to voice their dissatisfaction to the company that's obviously fine, but I don't feel sadness, anger, or pity for any of the guys in BTS in Chapter 2. Not for my biases, not for Jungkook, and certainly not for Jimin. And it's getting tedious repeating my unpopular sanctimonious opinions to people who have already made up their minds and really ought to be more honest with themselves.

Speaking of Jimin, it continues to amuse me how the top group of people who just do nawt rate this man, is his solos. It's like dejavu for the discourse around OSTs circa 2018 - 2021 all over again. PJMs complaining about how BigHit was holding him back from doing OSTs, just for Jimin to say he wasn't interested at the time. Or how in 2022 people were fretting in my inbox about how only Jimin hadn't done any solo work/promotions yet and I would put out gentle reminders about how he operates and his tendency to leapfrog the rest when he's ready, then we started getting the producer pics.

Jimin has always been a 'bigger picture' kind of guy so how can anyone blame me for not taking this latest outcry seriously when that man continues to do what he's always done: work in silence, and wow with the result.

(Does anyone really think a man with no plans would be airborne every 2 weeks, and that a company with no desire to market him would be paying for and managing those plans?)

Not to be dismissive of people who wanted a stronger American push for Jimin's debut, while I agree he would've benefitted from a more targeted push, I genuinely think Jimin has always been better suited for Europe anyway.

I mean, look at him.

Anon from yesterday said they envisioned Jungkook doing a song/video like Troye Sivan's Rush... I didn't comment on it yesterday, but Anon, personally, I've never seen Jungkook as capable of making a song like that. Jungkook will never make anything like that. The only person in BTS who has the range for that sort of provocation and subtext, is Jimin. And the market that will fully embrace that sort of art isn't America, it's Europe. In my opinion.

We'll see what his plans are.

Anyway, I'm not sure how more tactfully I can say this, but my blog isn't the place to be if you feel some type of way about seeing Jungkook succeed like this relative to your bias, if you think his promotion and success is at the expense of your bias, and so on. It's not even that I care about some vague OT7 ideal, it's that while I understand the anger and heightened emotions a lot of you feel, I just cannot relate to it.
