Wayward Waters Chapter 6

I blinked and slowly woke up, seeing a wooden ceiling.
My head felt heavy and my thoughts foggy.
Did I fall off the mast?
“Whhuh?”
I tried to sit up but a somewhat webbed hand forced my head back onto the pillow.
“Please stay on the bed for now, we don't know how exactly you will react to Rimkir root so don't move”
What root? And reacting to it?
My vision was still blurry and my head foggy but I felt like I was in the wrong place.
“Wha hapn?”
I felt extremely confused, the last thing i could recall was, uhh..
Oh right, sitting on top of the mast and having a FUCKING Panic attack!
I tried to sit up but the half webbed hands shoved me down again.
“I said to stay put! Does nobody ever listen to medical advice?
You're just as bad as Ronan!”
I blearily looked up at the person I could now identify as Imik.
And I had almost forgotten that Ronan was also somewhere in the ship.
“Wha? Did he wake up? Wait what happened to me?
Why am I not on the mast anymore?”
Imik looked tired,
at least from what I could see and I suddenly felt bad.
It wasn't their fault, they shouldn't have to deal with my shit.
“He woke up a few hours ago,
He's better now but tried to walk around right away.
I ended up tucking the blankets so tight that he can't move anymore.
As for you, well you had a pretty bad panic attack.
We ended up sedating you so we could get you down from Jamie's nest, which was kind of a logistical nightmare.
Do you feel any better now?”
Sedating me? Was that what the sweet smelling thing had been?
“Uh, im better now, my brain foggy tho”
Imik absentmindedly nodded and then bent down to fetch something from the floor.
He then handed me a big glass filled with clear water.
“Drink something, I'll have to go and see if Ronan managed to wiggle out of the bed, but you can just yell if you need anything else”
With that he left and I was alone in a small room that definitely belonged to someone else.
There were knicknacks strewn about and half a shirt looked out of a chest that had been shoved into a corner,
making it look like the wooden thing was sticking its tongue out.
I stared at the glass, wondering whose room I was in,
judging by the sizing of things it definitely wasn't Jamie’s,
if they even had a normal room aside from the nest thing.
Whatever, I smelled the water to make sure it wasn't salty before slowly drinking it.
My brain still felt a little foggy but compared to the panic attack I preferred it.
I laid back on the bed and just stared at the ceiling for a while.
All of this sucked, like a LOT.
Man, I wanted home!
I kept laying there for half an hour feeling extremely bored.
At least until I heard footsteps on the other side of the apparently rather thin wooden wall if the sound of voices was anything to go by.
“...-anic attacks really suck,
what are we supposed to do if he gets another one?”
“Well for one not let him climb the mast again!
What was the big idea for that anyway?”
“It wasn't my Idea! I think he wanted to climb it out of curiosity!”
“And you let him? No wait, I bet you even taunted him for every mistake he made while climbing!”
“So what?”
“Guys, calm down”
“So what? SO WHAT? You keep egging people on!
On the stupidest of things! I swear one of these days someone is going to jump in an underwater volcano because of you!”
“I assume im being ignored for the sake of anger once again”
“No, that's just not true! Unlike most people I've met,
I know when to stop!”
“Really? You do? What about the time you-‽ MMPh!”
“That was one time! You're really gonna harp on THAT Forever?”
“Jamie take your foot out of Imiks face please”
Okay what was going on out there?
I stood up and went to the door, opening it to a rather comedic sight.
Jamie had their clawed foot in Imiks face and squished his cheeks while Imik gripped Jamie's arm and tried to push them away to no avail.
Also I was pretty sure the position they were in was only possible due to Jamies weird legs seeing as they were both rather contorted and tried to strangle each other.
They froze when tha saw me in the position they were in,
with Jamie half of the ground,
foot in Imiks face and Imik trying to wrestle Jamie away.
Also Akeem was behind them.
Both Jamie and Imik looked at me.
“Ignore this!”
“Didn't I tell you to rest?”
Came it from them in unison.
“It's a bit hard to rest when you guys are so loud,
what are you even doing?”
They let go of each other, Jamie somehow not falling over.
“Nothing important!”
They said at the same time only to be suddenly grabbed and lifted off the ground by Akeem,
leaving their legs dangling out of reach of the floor.
“Apologies Donovan, we will stop bothering you now”
I just stared at him for a second.
Then Jamie wriggled around and started scratching his face with their clawed feet, creating the sound of cat claws on a tile floor.
Despite the assault on his face he didn't even flinch, or blink.
Must be nice to be able to not give a single fuck about that.
“Uh, okay? I do feel better now, how's Ronan?”
Imik pointed two doors down the hall before he and Jamie were dragged away by Akeem.
Jamie still trying to scratch his face unsuccessfully.
Well, that was weird.
I walked to the door Imik had pointed at and knocked softly.
I felt better now and just laying around was not doing me any favors,
Might as well see how Ronan is doing.
“Ronan? Are you awake?”
I heard some rustling sounds and a dull thump,
What the hell was he doing?
“Door is unlocked! You can come in!”
Of course the door was unlocked, scatterbrained as he was.
I slowly opened it and saw Ronan lying on the bed,
only half under the covers and with his feet on the headrest.
So the sounds I had heard were him jumping back into bed.
He looked at me confusedly.
“Oh, uh, Donovan? You're… smaller”
Oh right, last he saw of me was when I turned Giant to transport him out of the Eel pit.
“Yep, it's me, how are you?
The eel bites looked nasty, do you feel any better?”
He nodded despite the weird angle he was laying in.
“I feel better! Still incredibly sore though,
and there is one nasty bite on my lower arm! Look at it!”
He held his arm up and began undoing the bandages.
I looked on for a second in shock before swiftly walking up to him and stopping him by holding his free arm away from the bandages.
“I believe you! I think you should let the bandages stay on,
if you're so keen on showing me you can just get me the next time you change them okay?”
He looked disappointed but relented luckily.
“Sooo how come you're smaller?
And two legged? OH! Can you shapeshift into anything else?
And how do you do it? Can you use magic? If so, what kind?”
I was taken aback a little by the wall of questions he threw at me.
“Can you maybe ask one question at a time?
I barely remember the first one you asked!”
He stopped talking and blinked confusedly.
“Oh sorry! So should I start again but slower?”
I looked at him with a deadpan face.
“As far as i know you should be resting, and i'm pretty sure i heard you running around, i just came in here to see how you're doing”
“Oh come on! I'll be fine! Ain't the worst that's happened to me!
And I was just at the window! I wanted to let Imugi know I'm better!”
As nice as wanting to tell his Sea Serpent that he was okay now was he really shouldn't run around with what was essentially a lot of small lightning damage.
I pinched the bridge of my nose,
still not feeling all that good myself yet.
“Five questions,
but then you have to promise to rest as long as Akeem says”
Akeem seemed the most level headed out of them so this seemed reasonable to me,
besides I did not want Ronan to injure himself further.
His face seemed to light up at the prospect of getting to ask Five questions though and I felt like I'd regret that soon enough.
“Okay! Deal! Soo first question uhhh,
OH! How many forms can you shapeshift into?”
At least he picked an easy one for the first question.
“Three, the fuzzy green thing you saw, which is called an Ardua by the way, the Giant one and this human sized one, that's all”
“What? Only that?
Man and here I was hoping for a cool dragon or something!
So wait, I just remembered you barely ate anything as the…
Ardua you called it? Do the plants on your back do photosynthesis?
And can you use their energy?
Question number two, and quite an observant one,
especially for a scatterbrained guy like him.
“Yes to both of those, like plants i can get get energy from sunlight if i'm in that form, which is pretty practical”
His eyes went wide and he started fiddling with the blanket.
“Ohhh! Man that must be awesome to not need to eat!
If Imik didn't remind me I'd forget it sometimes!
Okay next question, number three right?
Your Giant form looked really tall! Any idea how tall exactly?”
How tall? Well he was in luck that had just been very recently measured.
“According to Jamie who measured me out of Boredom i'm forty five feet tall, no idea if that's accurate though”
“Forty five??? Fuck that's really tall! And I doubt Jamie made a mistake in measuring, they helped in the past measuring things in the past and it was always pretty accurate, so it's probably correct!”
So Jamie was right about me being forty five feet tall,
good to know that I was garbage at estimating my own height.
“Okay question four! Uhhh, what's your preferred form?
Like the fuzzy one? Or the Giant one? Which one?”
My favorite form? Hmmm,
each had their advantages and drawbacks.
The Ardua form looked scary and had no thumbs,
the Giant one was strong but didn't fit in a house,
The human form did fit in a house but was comparatively weak.
“Uhh to be honest no idea, they all have their advantages and drawbacks like, the fuzzy one does not have thumbs,
the Giant one is too big for a lot of things,
and the human sized one is weak compared to the other two.
I guess i like the Ardua form for sleeping though,
in that form even sleeping on the floor is somewhat comfy”
He nodded wildly and seemed to think for a moment.
“Okay, Question number five,
How do you shift? Is it like magic?
Or more Biologically? I've seen Merfolk that can change their tail into legs and back! Is it like that?”
Of course that's what he HAD to ask,
ugh, but I told him I'd answer five questions so that's what i was gonna do, not like he could use the bracelet anyway.
I held up the arm with the bracelet and tapped it.
“Don't tell anyone but this thing lets me shift,
and no you can't use it,
it's locked to the genetic code or whatever Oakley called it,
meaning if anyone without the necessary genes puts it on they will die.
So do NOT under any circumstances put it on, you hear me?”
He nodded, gaze transfixed on the reflective material of the bracelet.
“That is so cool!
As soon as we're back to base you have to show me all the forms!”
Well, that went better than expected,
at least he wasn't asking to wear it himself but maybe the warning did come across to his brain properly.
“I'm fine with that, the sooner we get there the sooner you get to poke at the forms and the sooner I can get back home!”
He nodded frantically,
nearly tearing holes in his blanket with his nails.
“Oh if you help me to the window I can tell Imugi to go extra fast!
And tell her I'm fine!
I didn't quite make it to the window before you came in…”
He admitted and I rolled my eyes,
this guy's self preservation was Garbage at best.
“Alright, just don't complain to me when your wounds reopen!”
“Oh don't worry! I have a high pain tolerance!”
That comment made me think back to Fable,
the poor guy also had no idea what happened to me.
God, I missed him as well.
“That does not sound as reassuring as you think!”
He just shrugged and I helped him stand up by slinging one of his arms over my shoulder,
idly noting he was about the same height as me.
Then I slowly maneuvered him to be right next to the window which he immediately opened.
“IMUGI!”
There was an excited whistle click sound and suddenly Imugi was in front of the bullseye shaped window which was too small to let her fit her head in.
Not that she didn't try tough.
Ronan just stuck his hand out instead.
“I'm fine girl, and I'd be even better the faster we reach home.
Can you be a dear and bring us to Kariba Island as fast as possible?”
Imugi made a weird sound that was a mix of chirping and whistling and dived under and out of sight again.
Only a moment later there was a tug on the boat and I could literally feel how we went faster.
I held onto Ronan so he wouldn't fall over.
“Man she's fast! And she's towing the entire boat!”
Ronan laughed at that.
“Yes! She can hold that tempo for quite some time as well! You should see her zoom around without being tied to the boat! I even made a saddle! I keep falling off though so I gotta tinker on it still!”
I wasn't sure what surprised me more,
that the Sea serpent could hold this tempo for an entire day or that Ronan made an entire fucking saddle for her.
Okay the saddle somehow surprised me less,
and even less that he still had to tinker on it.
“A saddle? Really? I hope you can hold your breath well then!
Now let's get you back to bed”
He grinned and nodded, half hanging over my shoulder like a wet cat.
“Fine by me! A deal is a deal!
And I got to tell Imugi I'm fine so that's even better!”
I gently guided him back to bed and set him on it properly,
not the weird upside down thing he did before.
“Oh before you go! Could you hand me a book to read?
Its so fucking boring just laying around!”
While talking he pointed at a closet that was built into the wall of the room with lockable drawers.
The keys for it were on a hook right next to it that was bent so much the ship would have to be upside down for them to fall off.
I took the keys and opened the drawer he had pointed at,
seeing a total of ten books,
picking two random ones I chucked them on the bed where Ronan immediately grabbed them like a possessive drake.
“Thanks! Finally less boredom! Also I hope when we get there we'll find a way to get you back to your friends!”
I stopped for a moment where I was in the doorway.
“Thank you for helping, now just focus on getting better Imugi had looked so sad when you got Injured!”
That seemed to surprise him.
“She did? Ough, I gotta apologize for that later to her!”
“Not only her, Jamie, Akeem and Imik where also worried as fuck!”
With that i left the room and closed the door behind me.
Man, what a chaotic bunch,
but at least we were closer to that Kariba island now.
Maybe I should ask them if they got a map of the island?
Knowing what it looked like might be nice.
On the way back to the deck I ran into Jamie,
who immediately grabbed my arm with one of their bird leg claws,
and dragged me along.
Man they were strong for someone so small,
first getting dragged into the nest and now I was forced to keep up while they only hopped forwards on one leg.
“You GOTTA see what Island we are going past right now!
And it's just the right season too!”
Island? Right season? What?
“Wait a second, what do you mean?
Why are you dragging me to see an island?
Are we going to stop there?”
They just shook their heads,
dragging me onto the deck and towards the railing.
“Nah, we ain't gonna stop! So that's why you have to look now!”
Well, I had no idea what this was about if we weren't even stopping at that island but I still looked if only to stop Jamie from digging their claws in even more.
The island we were sailing past was VERY colorful and looked to be completely overgrown by every flower possible in this climate,
giving it an almost unreal appearance.
“How many flowers are there? And how come they all grow there?”
Jamie just grinned widely, showing a pair of dull fangs.
“Ha! I knew the guy with plants on his back would like this!
Apparently some odd years ago a ship that was supposed to bring lots of rare flower seeds to who knows where got stranded on the island and broke in two!
The seeds were just left there and at some point started growing!”
All the flowers were from a single shipwreck?
Wow, I was almost tempted to ask them to stop the boat so I could try and get some for Robin but that would mean wasting even more time.
Suddenly a webbed hand grabbed the railing from outside,
heaving the attached body onboard again.
It was, of course, Imik.
He also had a little burlap bag slung over his shoulder.
“I found some seeds that were waterproof packaged!
Part of the wreck is actually still there! Just underwater!”
Man Imik had to be a fast swimmer to get there and back while we drifted past it, the island wasn't really all that big even.
He then reached into the bag and tossed me a little thumb sized box made out of bronze,
shaking it I could hear lots of little things hit against each other.
“Here! You can have one! I doubt those contain any plant that's not already growing on the island!”
“Oh, uh, thank you, I actually know someone that would love this!”
He grinned, which showed a mouth full of shark-like teeth,
and gave a thumbs up.
“Great! I myself am quite bad at keeping plants alive for longer than a week anyway!”
He then speed walked away to the door into the ship,
his webbed feet making a weird plap, plap noise as he walked.
Yep, chaotic bunch.
I stowed the thumb sized box away in the little bag that already contained the fossilized sea star for Fable.
Looking back at the island I noticed Jamie had used their claws to hold onto the railing and squat down like a bird would.
They really looked like a chicken right now with the way they sat on the wood.
I decided not to mention it and instead watch the flower island until it was out of sight.
It was really pretty, man I wished my friends could see this,
Especially Robin! He'd love this!
At some point Jamie walked off,
going back up the mast to be the lookout again.
The island was out of sight now, Imugi was really fast, and strong,
so i had nothing to do now.
I had already checked in on Ronan, Jamie was back up the mast and I was absolutely NOT climbing that again.
Maybe I could ask Akeem or Imik for something to do?
Oh wait, Imik wanted to show me how to properly hold my breath for a really long time!
Then we got interrupted by the chaos on the eel island and kinda forgot.
Not to mention the fact I had a panic attack.
Yep, not fun.
I walked through the door I had seen Imik disappear into and found myself in a room filled with shelves and boxes, all nailed or screwed down so they would fall over should the ship be hit by a bigger wave.
The shelves themself were so constructed that they had drawers instead of bare wood to place things on,
and every single one was lockable in a way that would prevent them from sliding open unprompted.
Quite an architectural feat in my opinion, and considering that Imik mentioned he was a treasure hunter they were probably filled with various things he brought up from the sea floor.
“Looking for something specific?”
I startled and turned around, coming face to face with the Merling.
“Oh, uh, kinda? You said you would show me how to hold my breath for a really long time?”
“Oh right, I did! Good timing,
I was just getting bored again after stashing my new stuff!”
I was then dragged along for the second time today, but this time I was led to a more open space in the middle of the room which had a carpet nailed down on it that seemed to be made out of seaweed.
Remembering last time I had gotten a short instruction I sat down on the carpet while Imik did the same opposite of me.
“Okay where were we last time? Like what did I already tell you?”
“Uh, you told me to like, calm down and slow my heartbeat?”
He nodded, at least I had gotten that right.
“Apnea is about expanding the capacity of your lungs.
At a depth of 30 meters, the lungs are only 25% of their actual size,
so With diaphragmatic and lateral lung breathing,
more air can be inhaled!
And if you slow your heart down and are calm your body uses less air!
Fantastic isn't it?”
I had understood maybe half of what he was saying,
but he'd probably show me anyway.
Yep. I was right in that as he started to explain how to control one's breathing among some other things.
And thus the day was spent learning how to do various breathing exercises.
While unusual it wasn't as boring as one would have thought,
At one point I had to hold my breath while Imik tried to get me to laugh or poked at me.
Apparently that was to make sure I wouldn't spit all the air out should a fish startle me.
While probably true he seemed to have a good time with it,
and it was a little funny
He had also been positively surprised when I told him about the only breathing thing I knew, to calm someone from a panic attack.
He immediately jotted it down in a random notebook.
We continued with that until the door was slammed open and Jamie waltzed in.
“AY! Dinner time you idiots!”
Already?, though, looking actually outside showed the sun was way lower than before.
We really had spent all day with the Apnea diving thing huh?
Well, i did feel like i made some progress,
like being able to hold my breath for about seven minutes now,
Maybe more, we didn't have a clock.
Whatever, maybe now they had something to eat that wasn't sandwiches.
No they did not, and by now the bread was either stale or soggy again, somehow.
I politely declined under the guise that since I had plants on my back in Ardua Form I didn't need to eat anyway.
That and I didn't want to use more of their resources than I already did.
And so I got out of eating stale sandwiches, for now at least.
“Are you not a fan of sandwiches?”
Asked Ronan then, gnawing on his own rather stale bread with what was probably marmalade.
“Well, depends, and not everyday for sure,
don't you have anything else on board?
Since I had gotten onto the boat the only thing they had to eat were those sandwiches, which couldn't be healthy.
“Well, the dude that cooks had to stay home cuz he broke his ribs!”
Interjected Jamie nonchalantly while grabbing another bread.
“What?”
“Yeah! The crane we have on board was getting some heavy box up and somehow slammed him into the wall!
Apparently the pressure of being squished between the crate and the wall just snapped some of his Bones a few months ago!
Good thing we know a pretty okay doc!”
I was just staring at Jamie who told a story like that completely nonchalantly.
Yeah, these guys had a few screws loose,
maybe even used them to keep the boat together.
“Oh, well, I hope he gets well soon?”
I said awkwardly, not really knowing what to do in such a situation.
“Eh, Yamet is fine, next time he can go back on the ship as well!
I bet he's incredibly bored though!”
At least that was nice, but man these guys were crazy.
Oh well, better not say anything about it.
Though if they made such jokes this Yamet guy was probably fine.
Probably.
The only somewhat calm dinner of stale bread and possibly moldy marmalade was interrupted by a loud boom and an impact that shook the entire ship.
What? What was happening?
The entire crew had already sprung up and hasted to a variety of places, Jamie back up the mast, Akeem and Imik got entire fucking Cannons.
Ronan was already nowhere to be seen and I had no idea where he went.
Hopefully back inside as it appeared we were under attack.
Not really knowing what to do, I walked over to where Akeem and Imik were, already stuffing a cannonball into the cannon to fire back.
Not knowing how to operate a cannon or even how to help,
I tried to get a glance on what was attacking us,
which turned out to be another ship.
Pirates? As far as I knew they were a big enough Problem that Rikaad had wanted to deal with it himself.
Worse was that the enemy boat was bigger than ours and probably had more people.
Imik and Akeem fired their cannon and managed to hit the low side of the enemy ship.
Unfortunately we got hit again, the ship going very lopsided for a moment and I could hear a weird screech.
Looking up I saw it was Jamie, who was upside down and held on to the outermost piece of the mast with a clawed foot.
Oh fuck, they'd fall in at any moment!
Leaving the experts to man the cannon, I ran to the other side of the ship, only seeing out of the corner of my eye that apparently Imugi had rammed the other boat, causing some of the men on board to freak out at being attacked from a sea monster.
Man, I hoped they wouldn't shoot at Imugi.
Unlikely though.
I was positioned at the railing, still not anywhere near Jamie and thus not able to catch them as they fell,
another cannonball impacting at the same time and causing the crane to fall overboard where Jamie was just moments ago.
Being horribly reminded of what had happened to me not that long ago when the mast crashed onto my own head I jumped in after Jamie, shifting while jumping and inhaling as much air as I could,
doing as Imik had shown me.
I dived down after Jamie, seeing that one of their legs had gotten tangled in a rope from the crane and they were desperately trying to get it loose.
I managed to swim after them right as they went past an underwater cliff, the top part of the crane scraping against the rock with an unpleasant noise.
Not having thumbs currently I simply bit into the crane,
not like it would be usable anymore anyway.
Jamie got loose, kicking their thin legs which were definitely not made for swimming and tried to swim up,
which thanks to having so thin legs was agonizingly slow.
Then the crane which had been scraping against the rock knocked a boulder loose, which in turn bumped into more rocks,
freeing them and causing an underwater landslide.
Jamie got hit square in the chest by one and was dragged even deeper down as the rocks went towards the bottom of the ocean and I dived after them, taking them into my mouth due to a lack of thumbs.
Their legs were still sticking out and my mouth was filled with water,
not allowing them to breathe either as one of the bigger rocks hit my back,
pushing me deeper underwater and ending up trapping me on a shelf like rock formation as more of the rockslide buried my lower half under it.
Fuck, now i was trapped with no air,
and even worse was that Jamie had no air either.
But I had a little bit of air, maybe I could share?
Tentatively I pressed Jamie against my palate, pushing out as much water as I could and then let my mouth fill with some of my own air.
I felt them cough and while maybe a bit stale the air was still better than nothing.
But now what? I was trapped and there was no way for Jamie to get back up without drowning.

LMFAO i was right
the tiktok that spoiled it for me before i got the game had comments being like “he’s taken now :(” “i wasnt happy when i saw him” etc. so i was like ..............oh. OH. they gave. sidon a love interest. cool. coolcoolcool.
well i made it to zora’s domain, on the way i stopped to look at the tablet thing thinking i recognized it from botw and after reading it was like LMAOOO fuck i was right
but like.....im fucking cracking up cuz im sorry not to be one of those “i hate x character cuz she gets in the way of x ship!!” but im laughing cuz 1.) shes,,,, not very cute 😭😭😭 IM SORRY its her design not her but i also realized i got spoiled to what she looks like without even knowing cuz another tiktok was on my page before i played being like “i dont want you i dont want you” as a joke while showing her and im just now realizing it was yona BUT I HAD THOUGHT IT WAS THE OLD GUY THAT WAS MEAN TO LINK IN BOTW LSKJLADSKJAS i didnt look at it very long in my defense tho cuz i scrolled as soon as i saw it was botw/totk related
BUT 2.) I dont feel like sokkas trauma is represented enough in zukka relationships. This is a really good depiction of it and how Sokka was given too much responsibility at a young age. I like how you’re touching on this and adding it to their relationship.
Is this going to be one of those things where sokka falls first but zuko falls harder? Its giving the vibes. Sokkas already showing signs of figuring it out. I dont think zuko is for a while. Thats just my take on it though.

The Last two paragraphs - Oh my god hella what the fuck are you on. This is the kind of stuff that makes taob so good and wonderful and magnificent and glorious and and and-
So the thing about how you write Zukka is, its perfect. I am so picky about how people write Zuko specifically (and azula but were not talking about her right now) but you are just so good at writing him. I love how you keep his canon characterization and not like infantilizing him (seriously, people tend to forget that Zuko is an asshole) but you also tap into all of Zukos traits, not just the ones that are appealing. Like the black and white thinking, his bossiness, his temper, all that fun stuff. And you take all of this and combine it with the traits that he picked up because of the taob plot and you’re consistent with it. Like I see a lot of fics (and i also do this with my fic so i know its really hard not to do this ) that will put characters through something and its like that event never happened after like two nightmares and three flashbacks and a conversation. But you’re very good at juggling everything going on with zukos mind and character.
You write in a way that makes you come off as extremely intellegent. I dont know what I mean by that but like on tumblr you give off the vibes of someone who is just unnaturally smart, and then you read taob and you're just like 'yeah that checks out'
I got off track of what i was originally wanting to say.
My favorite Zukka dynamic is Sokka leaning into Zukos protectiveness and so how you showed this in this chapter took me aback because i knew that that is where this was headed but you executed it so well. Also its kind of nice that we’re finally starting to get into the zukka portion of taob. And feelings are finally being felt for eachother. Like when you said slow burn holy shit this is slow burn. I love it so much 10/10 marvelous, all the praise, bravo.
Then there was also the acknowledgement that Zuko and Sokka arent responsible for one another. And that theyre allowed to just be Zuko and Sokka without the stress of being the one ‘in charge’. Like theres no added pressure to it. And like I said people have a tendency to focus on Zukos trauma and comletely dismiss the trauma of sokka and how his issues minght surface in a relationship. I love how you’re going about this.
Like the dynamic you write between Zuko and Sokka is so unique and rare but so perfect and accurate based on their characters.
I also always forget how much i love Tomnook and I love that theyre going with them. This is something that I was sad thinking about whenever i was like ‘huh i wonder whats going to happen in taob next’ i would get upset thinking about nanook and tomkin being actively present. So the fact that they are makes me happy.
The last like paragraph and line were so perfect I loved them so much.
You are such a fantastic writer like I cant put into words how much I love your style and the way you phrase things and how fluently things flow together when you write them. I think I’ve mentioned in one of my other things that it reminds me of the alphabet and how there are certain ways you can order the letters that done seen natural or fluent. And how its like you have a special formula for knowing which synonym to use or what word to use or which order to arrange sentences. Its so poetic and eloquent. Like its so weird to me how much I’m in love with just you’re style. To me everything you write is just so perfect.

everything you said about zukka and how im writing them! ive said before but both because the romance is a new part of taob and bc people have been waiting so patiently for zukka, im always super nervous about how im writing them so this is just JKSDHGKHG for me especially bc you basically picked up on everything im trying to do. like focusing on sokka's trauma, them not being responsible for each other and how they BOTH need to feel that, showing zuko's protective side, not making zuko less of an asshole etc - these are all conscious decisions for me so for someone to go 'hey i See What You're Doing and im so here for it!' is beyond reassuring

sometimes im very curious about like. school culture, immediately before and after my time.
there’s a reason i refer to myself and people my specific age as “zillenials”, because while generation gaps are largely stupid, mid-late 2000s to early-mid 2010s are VERY MUCH entirely different beasts, and going through school in that timeframe??
classes went from “we’re using the overhead projector today” to “we replaced the chalkboards with whiteboards so you need to buy expo markers” to “SMART boards are new and fancy and kids really wanted to be the one who got to calibrate it” to “the SMART board is old and outdated, we’re going to use it as a projector while you log in to this website using the school laptops to take the test” to “okay everyone get out your smartphones and go to this link”.
and like. that’s not even getting into all the different types of teaching fads, “no child left behind” shit, different types of standardized tests*, funding changes, teachers who were also struggling with the rapid changes, etc.
*(literally, i had to take a freshman english test in senior year because it was a requirement to graduate, despite the fact it had not existed in my freshman year. it was then. discontinued. like a year later.)
you know how like. a lot of shows set in high school back then had an episode where the students were given a sack of flour and had to pretend to be married and pretend it was their baby. My brother is 5 years older than me, and it was an Actual Thing He Was Expected To Do, as part of home ec. When I went to the exact same high school, home ec class no longer existed.
Back in october last year when i was learning to sew, i asked my mom some questions that she thought were very funny because they were the most basic of basics. When i said a sewing pattern was confusing, she said that even beginner patterns assumed that the person attempting it had taken a sewing class in school. This is the level of disconnect I’m talking about. Things just. stopped? existing?? We saw this in real time with cursive. Like. in elementary school there were several years where it was expected that we learn it, and later years you would get docked points if they weren’t written in cursive with blue or black ink. Cut forward a few years and everything needs to be in print. People at work 3 years my junior cannot even read it, let alone write it. It went from Mandatory & Important to Outdated to We’re Not Teaching That Anymore.
Also back on the topic of sewing, that segues nicely into The Gays.
Im not entirely sure what the culture was like before my time, because of the few older gays i know, they’re either not american or didn’t figure it out until at least college. But like. I know it wasn’t good. I also know that it was a lot more hidden? According to my dad, forever ago the polite way of calling someone gay was “they’re not the marrying type”.
Nowadays from what little i’ve gleaned from social media and occasional screenshots of tiktok, it. Seems better? On the surface? Teens are less prone to giving a shit about other students?? I dont know.
Meanwhile, my experience was like. Gays dont exist. Gays are the Enemy of The American People. Gays are the wacky friend character on TV. Gays exist solely in fiction. Gay people will cause the downfall of society. The very specific type of fujoshi who constantly shipped male characters together but also thought if people were gay in public they deserved to burn in hell. Girls who played sports needed to dress in a very specific way to avoid being labeled as a dyke. Girls cant be gay what are you talking about. There is a school club dedicated to being An Ally™ of Gay People.
IS THERE ANY WONDER. THAT QUEER PEOPLE MY AGE. ARE ALL INSANE. FUCK. not enough of an Other to be stoned to death (unless you were in the deep south, in which case, good fucking luck), but also no longer had the slight protection being invisible offered, and also everyone subtly hates you, and also there were assemblies on how hating you was frowned upon, and also Here Is A Mandatory School Event Where You Must Present As Heterosexual And Within Gender Roles : ), and a AAaaAAAAAAA
it was good because queer shit was showing up more often in more mainstream things and we could point to it and go “now hold on just a minute, why does this appeal to me” but it was bad because if you were too interested or interested in the wrong way, it painted a goddamn target on you. I intentionally attempted to give myself a multiple personality disorder early on in high school because I knew i was trans, but i also knew (from experience) that letting any of that show was inviting people to beat me bloody. (also, i knew enough about trans stuff to know it existed, but not enough to know about HRT. and when i had learned about it it was in the context of “MAYBE you’ll get it if you present passingly as female for a year or two without it : )” horror stories.)

anyways. the 2006-2016 or so era was a complete fucking hell and apparently i needed to yell about it a little bit?? I imagine school culture before my time and nowadays have their own unique hells too, but i cannot fathom them because mine was so unlike either.

now I want to say neither because they're both selfish assholes and would see simply giving their partner their jacket a fucking war crime, but I have to say Light would give L his jacket, just based off how he was raised. His mother taught him well and how to treat his partner no matter what. Light is a charming gentleman and he was raised well

Light. dont look at me. dont speak to me. L picked Light up once because Light challenged him and said he was weak. it only happened once. L just smiles when Light picks him up, which happens when L has been sitting on his lap

they usually dont let each other knows it's a bad day, but when they do it's very simple. i just think that even with powers, the team of young justice in the same high school is such a wonderful concept because they’re teens and they most definitely have the potential and right now i can’t place many words together but like.. i MUST elaborate on most aspects of these little shits being high school freshmen/sophomores.
Bart literally writes everything with just a pencil and then you have Kon who just likes to write in blue/red/black pens, tim is a mix of blue/pencil/ocassional-marker -he-steals-from-cissie, Cassie writes with like.... purple and blue pens,,, Greta just has a black pen but her notes are literal heaven because she steals everything from cissie and cissie is 1000% the sorta bitch that has her markers categorized by color but then bart borrows them and mizes up the caps and also cissie has gel pens and her handwriting is pretty af so like everyone copies of of her
As unlikely as it sounds, Bart does NOT cheat at tests, because then max would like... give him SO many lectures and it’s SUCH pain in the ass so he just doesn’t (this does not limit chaos). Cassie doesn’t cheat because nO but then Cissie and Kon???? they’re buddies in that sorta thing and you know EXACTLY what i mean when i say that Kon has written answers in the skin that shows from his ripped jeans (the ones that he always gets in trouble for wearing, because as much as the school protocole just says ‘jeans’, they do NOT mean ripped jeans that have paint on them), and Cissie on her thighs and under the uniform socks, and they do the whole bandaid trick, and they even have their own weird sign language that takes WAAAAY too long to like even send the word ‘wassup’ because it goes letter by letter but its subtle so it works
fucking HOME EC is kon’s favourite subject and you’d think that kon would be in like... woodworking because most guys are in woodworking but NO kon went in home ec because ‘the chicks are there’ but NOOOO KON JUST LIKES BAKING AND HE GOT SHAMED ONCE FOR NOT KNOWING TO SEW A BUTTON ON HIS SHIRT SO NOW HE WANTS TO LEARN and guess what he absolutely LOVES it and he’s in with greta because cissie is with cassie and tim in woodworking, and besides, they don’t even have the same classes
they always make like cookies and kon hates it because he can’t eat his mf cookies in peace because he has home ec right after the lunch hour and while cassie does like to go out of class bart and cissie just eat all the cookies and leave kon to split with tim
FUCKING VOLLEYBALL TEAM BITCH but also literally all sports the school has to offer because Kon LOVES his jock reputation (that also bakes cookies and is kicking ass at home ec) and tim desperately needs to deal off anger with sports because the big bad wolf drake demands he also gets involved
Cissie quit the cheerleading team like the first month but greta loved it, and cassie just hates it SO much but he likes watching practices because girls (oh and greta gets really excited all the time and they love it)

BART IS LIBERO ALL THE WAY THROUGH OKAY BOY LOVES DIVING AND also he can heal quicker from like hits in the face (he has his kneepads that he wears EVERYWHERE and he even has a headband for his hair and his arm thingies and everything and his jersey is just written with signatures because everyone loves him
CISSIE IS ALSO LIBERO OKAY SHE LOOOVES VOLLEYBALL and she can DIVE and sometimes she forgets to bring up her kneepads so you KNOW that her knees are broken but she doesnt care (she also switches with server and her serves are literally like from fucking hell its beautiful
greta doesn’t play she refuses to play and everyone respects that but she also has like the bags with water-bottles and the jersey ones
EDIT: FUCKING DUMBASSES HERE GOT THEIR UNIFORMS MIXED UP AND TIM IS LIKE ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN KON AND CASSIE AND CISSIE AND BART ARE THE SAME (and tim but like bear with me) AND THEN ONE DAY THEY GOT THEIR UNIFORMS MIZED UP AND THERE WAS KON WITH MINISHORTS and dumbass didn’t notice but like everyone else sure did
BECAUSE they’re in the same team they just... share a locker that wasn’t used, with a little dollarama (dollar tree? idk but the dollar store) lock and then bam that’s the team locker (team as in them not the volleyball team) and there they keep like... bags of chips and chocolate bars with like... gym clothes and sneakers (which if you ask me is a horrible idea to like... place around 12 stinky shoes with granola bars and snacks and gym clothes but like hey dont ask me its them)

Queen y/n
The sun woke you up this time. Harsh rays forcing their way in through the window, curtains swaying lightly. Tooru usually woke you up for his breakfast, he must be out already. Slowly you rose out of the cold bed stretching your arms above your head ready to start the day. You had the castle to yourself it seemed like, thats unusual for a monday.. Wonder where that King is.. Deciding you did not care you got dressed in your expensive dress with the help of your friend Millie, she was your maid and the best friend you could have.
“You look lovely Miss Y/n!” she beamed while giving your corset its final tug to tighten it.
You gasped for breath a few times and shook your head. “Oh Millie, thank you , what should we do today?”
“Huh?! Is the King away?! “ she rushed to your side jumping in place, Millie was wearing her usual maid clothes with her hair tied back in a braid. “Oh my goodness we have the Kingdom to ourselves?!”
“Must be,” you turned to go take a peak outside by the window, the village was coming to life with the sounds of people, chatter and the smell of freshly made bread. It was nice, having the Kingdom to yourself but you were not really enjoying it, as much as you wanted to . the village hated you, refused to even sell to you sometimes. A stroll around would be nice.. But maybe not today..
“Miss Y/n?” Millie rushed over bunching herself into the window too to look out . she smiled taking in the fresh smell of bread, suddenly her eyes got big with stars.
“Its nothing Millie, im just thinking. Sometimes i like to look out this window and pretend im somewhere else.”
“Do you smell that?! It smells like chocolate!!!” she shook you not hearing what you said at first.
“Chocolate? Sweets?” you stood up straight squeezing Millies hand. “Do you think?!”
“I do i do !! he must have returned to us!”
Wasting no time you pulled your friend out of your room and down the many stairs dashing past the other servants paying them no mind. You both pushed the big doors open rushing down to the village to a very familiar carriage that just got into town.
Two doors on the carriage opened, “There they are!!!!!!!” yelled a happy happy voice.
“Satori !!!!” you both yelled with glee. “Our favorite chocolatier!”
The happy red head pretended to faint at the flattery and gave you each a hug. “Oh my goodness ! i dont know what it even say!” he squeezed you both again. “My favorite customers, ive brought you many many new sweets to try, come come! They won't eat themselves!!!”
Hajime & King Oikawa.
The King had not come home to his castle , in fact he was at the Brothel all night with his favorite whores doing everything he dreamed of; everyone loved him there, he was their best customer without a doubt. The constant giggling, money falling off the bed, clothes flying everywhere was just a regular night for the King and the ladies. He had no worries here, nothing to think about, nothing to worry about. The village loved him no matter what he did, and they already hated his wife so this was fine to them. Hajime had stayed close to the brothel all night, waiting for his friend and King to be done. He had brought some papers and quills with him to write down information about other Kingdoms with him. The one in charge of the place, The Madam had always offered for Hajime to do his work inside but he always politely declined.
He was happy sitting outside , his three eyed ravens often joined him and told him new things they had found out. He was sitting comfortably till a shoe hit the back of his head.. It was going to be a long night.
In the morning Hajime went inside to see his King passed out under a bunch of women, he shook his head pinching between his eyes just taking it in. Hajime was a loyal friend , but he hoped that one day his friend would get what's coming to him.
“Oi, King, Tooru, wake up” he kicked his leg on the bed waking up some of the girls who gave him an angry look .
“Sorry loves, “ he smirked as they got up, taking the blanket with them to cover themselves. Chins high, full of attitude. “Oikawa!” He kicked again, waking up his friend.
“Gah…!!! Easy .. “ he rubbed his head and pushed his hair out of his face turning to lay on his side. “What time is it?” he asked very groggy.
“Time to be a King.” Hajime threw the royal clothes at the annoyed King and went to the door. “Ill meet you at the castle , i have some things i wanna discuss”
“Hmph, “ grunted the King as he got out of bed to dress. “Sometimes i wish i was but a lowly peasant, begging for food on the street, no responsibilities, spend all my money on the whores if im lucky, ahhh the life…” Oikawa threw his cape while holding his arm out. “But that will never be!! For i am King Tooru Oikawa!!!”
Mattsun.
The waves gently crashed against The Aoba rocking it gently back and forth. It was a fine ship, the most powerful one in the Kingdom. It won many sea battles , cleaved many enemy ships and saved its share of people. Mattsun loved this ship, it was his baby, his queen. No one could change his mind about the sea, he loved being on it, land not so much. He wanted to travel the world on this ship, live on the sea for the rest of his life.
The sound of cheering could be heard just off the docks, Mattsun rolled his eyes looking towards the village. He was laying on the side of the ship on his back watching the clouds drift by, his right leg dangling off the side of the boat. The King, hisi friend, was greeting and waving at everyone as he walked by. Mattsun rolled into his ship to his feet rolling his shoulders, he placed a hand on The Aoba rubbing gently. “Ill be back, be good okay?” his voice low and full of sadness. He hated having his queen docked. She belonged in the sea.. The open sea. Not tied up like this.. “Dont let anyone come aboard, knock em off okay?” the ship swished and it got a smile out of the man, he hopped over onto the dock taking one last look back before heading to the castle.
Yahaba & Kyotani
“Ive done it!!!” the very loud slam of metal hitting the cold stone alerted Kyotani. He looked up to see Yahaba giggling over a new weapon like a little kid, his hands hovering all around the object as if it was magic . Yahaba was a … questionable blacksmith; he loved to make things, anything! Even things he shouldn't. He was involved with the black market too and they were hsi best customers besides The King and Kyotani.
Kyotani had been laying on his back on some hay inside Yahaba’s stone home with a stray puppy on his chest just watching the clouds from the window. He was always here, if he was not here he was out thieving or fighting or walking in the woods. It was early morning and after a night of wrestling wolves he found himself here, picking up a stray puppy in the village on his travels.
The man got up with the sleepy puppy in his arms, setting it down on the ground. “Past the village, in the woods to the side of the path, is a little home , you'll see a dog there, he looks like you. “ he scratched the strays head. “There's food there,” he said. The little puppy rubbed on Kyotanis hand and rushed off barking full of happiness.
“Hound! Hound come see!!!” said the eager friend.
Kyotani rose to his feet joining the blacksmith behind his work table , he smirked at the two objects. Bracers, brand new, freshly made bracers. Just for him.
“See see ? “ Yahaba pointed to the spikes on the ends of the knuckles and poked one lightly making his finger bleed. “Now you can slice and dice! And cut! And kill!”
“I already kill” he told his friend watching him set the two bracers in water to cool off. “They look perfect, what do i owe you Yahaba”
“Hmm… ive heard the Kingdom over has rare Jade, a precious blue like the ocean”
“Consider it done.” Kyotani took the bracers out of the water to shove in his bag. “Do we have to go to that… meeting…”
Yahaba pouted at his friend and Kyotnai rolled his eyes. “Fucking Oikawa,”
“How much is the debt again?”
Kyotani shot a look at his friend, making him back up with his hands up .
“If i could kill em, i would. “ was all he said, exiting the stone home watching the passing villagers avert their eyes once they saw him.
“I know, have you met his wife ?” yahaba asked, joining his friend
“Didn't know he had one, I feel sorry for her.”
Yahaba slung his arm around his friend's neck while they walked to the Kingdom , footsteps heavy.
Queen Y/N
You had spent the morning with Millie eating chocolate and gossiping with Satori about his travels, he had been all over the world, and he always shared his stories with you , you wanted to see the world, travel, it had been your dream since you were a little girl. You still had hope that one day it would happen. A bell rang making you slump on your friend.
“Duty calls.” you sighed.
“The King must be back” Millie said, pulling you up with her.
“I can hardly contain my excitement.” you teased, giving Satori one more hug. “Thankyou for the morning my friend.”
“Always, “ he kissed your hands, giving you a happy smile.
“You turned to Millie wiping some chocolate off her cheek with a little smirk. “Well, lets go see what my loving husband wants..”

THE WALTEN FILES: my jumbled notes on my blind run-in with this web series
first off this is gonna be long and unorganized, also this is my second time writing this as i had lost literally half of my progress and im This (imagine two fingers almost touching with a 0.0000000001mm distance between them) close to ripping all of the fucking hair out of my goddamn head. but now this will be extra long and yes, i will lose some accuracy to my first writing but thats okay ill probably edit this a kajillion times over
which brings me to my next tangent; im literally braindumping here. so to have a smidge of organization all afterthoughts, edits and corrections will be boldened, i forgot what im gonna do with italicized text but ill probably bolden it here yeah im pretty sure its for side tangents, separate from Corrections, which are in bold. also theyre for emphasis too.
so in general, this post right here is all of my notes i wrote down on my grid-patterned sticky notes (which i used WAYYYY too much of) about the first 3 uploaded walten files youtube videos transferred onto my handy dandy digital notebook, this b(l)og. yeppers peppers. you know im serious about this shit when i typed probably over like a thousand fucking words including boldened shit, italicized shit and motherfucking links, lost it ALL, and im sitting here re-typing it again.
i feel bad about this but im not gonna trigger warn right here, but this is technically a warning. if you want a list of triggers as to what this post (and the walten files in general) i will link a little list to that here

THE WALTEN FILES - VIDEO #1
clarifying this now, im gonna put some useless shit which i thought was code onto this because even though it was useless it was part of my notes and im physically going to combust if i dont put down every single thing i wrote on my papers. so what i thought was code was in the closed captions, i started writing it down when i got to the second video but came back to my first videos notes to include them. i wrote down the first letter to every word that was capitalized in the closed captions, which i had on as a default because number one i knew going into this id need them because most web horror things like args and cryptic shit like that has some of the most crucial shits in the closed captions. number two i am autistic and have auditory processing issues and have most closed captioning on as a default if theyre available.

i then jotted, in parenthesis of course, the names of the animatronics when they were listed in the animation section of the video; bon aka the blue bunny, sha aka the sheep one, boozoo aka the clown<3 honk<33, and banny aka the purpled eyelashed up one who is also a bunny btw. also i got boozoo the clown and boozoo the mustache guy confused because apparently the clowns name is billy???? but they named “boozoo” in bons sleepover and showed the clown? idk maybe im an idiot and theyre the same or just an idiot and theyre different or a super mega (matt and ryan?!?!??) idiot in general which is probably the case
i started drawing little stars to write down things i thought would be super important or to 100% look at again. the first subject of this pointy torture was the part of the video where at 3:00, i marked it down to make sure to reverse the audio as it was most definitely a weird audio that has that signature warp-y effect that makes sure you KNOW its in reverse. i then listened back to it Very carefully (still got it wrong) and got this: “you finally start to remember. that old doll. they will look out for you soon” im also pretty sure i heard “sophie” at the end of that audio but im not entirely sure and dont remember and i dont wanna go back to check lmfao but anyways it didnt matter because i was wrong anyway. after i had finished all 3 walten files i watched the film theory video on the walten files (which didnt cover all 3 but was dece.) out of curiosity and to hear matpats signature silly little voice explain some stuff i already knew, and click some shit in my brain that i couldve thought up of if i was a bit more... i dont know honestly. anyways yeah so the actual audio is “you finally start to remember. that old day. they will look out for you soon.” so yeah. day, not doll.
i then wrote down “sarah evelyn”, the name on the bons sleepover animation (i dont remember if she created it or animated it or whatnot) and scribbled will she matter? under her name. turns out no, as i didnt see her name in the rest of the series, let alone the first video. this is also a great time to mention how matpat theory helped me realize that the walten files are collections of videos, uploaded onto youtube by anthony. (i already knew about anthony as he signed his name in the descriptions of the youtube videos, making me categorize this overall web series more into an arg type genre.) but yes, the tapes, recorded “irl” footage, animated clips, vhs tape recordings and other audio-visual content is all collected and labeled the walten files, as i had mistaken each video to be a tape. stupid me. alrighty, onward!

i jotted down with an arrow that; sophie was a nightguard? she was wearing the uniform explained in tape 2 i dont know why but i went back into my video 1 notes after i had watched video 2. organization purposes. i guess.??
i then paused the video when the screen flickered a date, the beginning of video footage dated 10/10/1982 (Brian Stells?) god my little genius ass assuming the videographer was brian stells, based on the id card i saw earlier.
i then wrote down what text i saw on the dead, mangled, bloody body in the purple security suit; “i cant feel anything” “he thought i was her” then drew a little arrow pointing to; thought brian was sophie? or ashley? i also starred the name Brian Stells this is totally out of order LMFAOOOOOOOO also i wrote down ashley because, again, my little pea brain went back on my video 1 notes after watching video 2. but yep thats all i wrote for The Walten Files 1 - Company Introductory Tape

COMMISSIONS/DONATIONS HELP OUT A DISABLED, UNEMPLOYED, NONBINARY BUTCH
Hi there i’ve made a post similar to this a big time ago (when quarentine barely started)
In that post I state that since im disabled and had been scammed by my previous job in January I couldn’t get any government money during quarentine cuz of it.
My situation hasn’t changed in fact I need more help now.
I finally managed to move out of my abusive household to live with my partner, but my partner is working a full time job and desperately trying to make things work. The appartment we managed to get is pretty expensive and im totally unable to find a job with Covid and well: DID, Anxiety, Autism, ADHD, and my Chronic Pain, plus the fact I can’t stand for more than 30 minutes without severe body pain. If that wasn’t enough, the fact I had to drop out of highschool due to mental health surely disqualifies me from any “high school diplomat needed” jobs.
Ive scrolled Indeed so many times and haven’t found much- if a small translator job that I may turn out not qualified to do if it asks me to translate from english to french instead of french to english. (wasn’t specified on the work application)
As you can see, I really dont have many options if any. Right now my biggest hope is an appointment I have with project genesis on the 21s of september to sign up for disability welfare- but when I do I have no idea the time itll take to process or if ill even be accepted for it cuz shit sucks.
Im really desperate here, my financial state didnt get any better than back when I made my first post (now deleted since i had been kind of sort of okay for a while and felt bad leaving it up).
So please consider helping me out I know this is all a lot and things are hard for everyone here but I really could use some help. I take donations obviously but also Please Please look at my commissions if you’d rather buy smth than just donate

Writing Commissions
SFW;
1$ per 100 words. Past 2000 words, the price becomes 1.5$ per 100 words.
(Example, if you commissioned me 2k words, it would be 20$, if you commissioned me 3k words, it would be 35$)
NSFW;
1.5$ per 100 words. Past 2000 words, the price becomes 2$ per 100 words.
(Example, if you commissioned me 2k words, it would be 30$, if you commissioned me 3k words, it would be 50$)
Process:
-Payment is made by paypal
-Prices are all CAD.
-Half the money is paid upfront, you will receive 2 previews and I will be checking in with you sometimes to make sure we are still on the same page.
-Once the story is complete, you will pay me the rest and I will send you the file.
What I won’t do;
-Pedophilia
-Incest
-Yandere
-Any kinks im uncomfortable with
-Allow a minor to commission me NSFW stuff (If you’re a minor and you request it, I’ll refuse. Please dont lie about your age either.)
-Write ships I feel greatly uncomfortable with.
What I will do;
-Writings for the Kakegurui Fandom
-OCs & OC ships (If you give me a lot of info on them!!)
-Angst!! (even rlly heavy angst)
-Light gore (but no eye trauma)
-Background creating for OCs
Art Commissions
Deal 1 ~ Traditional Clean Pencil Sketch, Headshot: 5$
Deal 2 ~ Traditional Inking Lineart, Headshot: 10$
Deal 3 ~ Digital Lineart, Headshot: 15$
Deal 4 ~ Digital lineart + basic easy coloring, headshot: 25$
Note that with Deal 4 you may request 1 to 2 pride flags to be included in the background.
Deal 5 ~ A non-complex background with a given color palette of 3~5 colors: 10~20$
Process:
-Payment is made by paypal
-Prices are all CAD.
-Half the money is paid upfront for any art piece but for every deal after Deal 1 (So from deal 2 to 5) you will get a watermarked preview of the sketch to make sure we’re on the same page.
-Once the piece is completed, you will complete your payment and I will send you the file.
