Finally, the eldest, with unlocked potential.

Even with his "scary" appearance, he's still a softy under his hard(and extremely sharp) scales. He's larger than life(literally), and often wrestles with his uncle Raph when he gets too overwhelmed. If borrowed, do not spook him. He will destroy the nearest wall.

His favorite snack is gummy bears. And TV remotes.

Might edit Dai's sketch sheet for little details like this, too.

Akai was the hardest to draw, not because of the spikes, but because he's so gawd damn big- I don't even know if I got it right, I was struggling HRDVJJJYF

pre-publishing notes for extras part one (coming tomorrow i pray 🙏🏽 if not tmr than next saturday 🥺) for those interested

i am incredibly busy this wk so the final final edit of my fics isn’t gonna come till later, like next Wednesday or the weds after that or something.

but do not worry i am not changing anything major, unlike in previous edits. It’s just fixing little stuff (hyphenation, some grammar, places where AO3 fucked my italics, changing “chief naval officer” to chief of naval operations [i literally have no clue how that error happened as i got it right in some places and wrong in a bunch of other places like wtaf], removing brand names that show idk what the fuck im talking about, etc.). The most substantial edit is I’m adding one sentence to the slider one-shot where ice tries to convince slider that he and maverick are only tying the knot for financial purposes, and “so the govt doesn’t fuck one of us when the other dies for real.” that sentence was in my original draft and idk why it got removed.

i will not be editing the hangman one shot (besides fixing the proposal date), the airplane one shot, or the wingmen one shot because i do not really care for them and they have been overwritten by other sections of my fics. the bradley one shot is also pretty much going untouched

ONTO THE EXTRAS. Unlike some of my other fics which are M-rated & therefore kind of implicit, these extras are a littol bit edgy & explicit. Not beating around the bush anymore. I am warning for possible triggers, mostly related to disordered eating and, like, a BUNCH of casual suicidal ideation/discussion of suicide. Also it’s E-rated.

however that isn’t to say it’s not mostly fluff lol. there’s SOME sex but u know me.. it is sex as symbol not sex as sex... (You know what they say, $20 is $20 and writing practice is writing practice) I wanted to expand the scope of my original fics—more politics, more complications, more backstory, so that’s mostly what it is. Not everything revolves around goose anymore. It’s also about the rest of the world

parts of it will also obviously just be me dicking around, a disclaimer

not every scene that I’ve posted in a wip wednesday made the cut. I got rid of a bunch of them that were boring/repetitive. (so, my apologies to the anon who told me they liked the sickfic excerpt, for instance—the one where mav sprains his wrist is basically the same thing, we don’t really need to rehash the “taking care of each other” motif twice)

prolly download these somewhere else because it really is just 70k of a wall of text with no chapter breaks and we all know how ao3 is

Nine: List

This isn't quite a microfic and more of a longish headcanon/rambling but its fluffy wolfstar and it's lovely and they're my babies

Remus had never been a big fan of crowds, or of people rushing around him. He liked meandering with time to spare, liked going about life in a quiet manner. It wasn't to say he didn't enjoy chaos occasionally but he liked his day to day life to be… peaceful. He was a country boy through and through. He doubted he'd ever welcome the embodiment of chaos into his life.

And then came Sirius Motherfucking Black.

Sirius was nothing short of a city boy, born and raised in the hustle of London. He thrived in chaos, he wove his way through crowds like he owned them. There wasn't a question about his love of loud, busy, packed life. He found the thrill in racing for the tube and darting around crowds of tourists or businessmen who hadn't yet started their commute. The truth was he felt like he could disappear in a city as big as London, he was less of a disappointment, there was less risk of failure if everyone was too busy moving to notice him.

And then came Remus. Remus who was soft glances and pauses which seemed to stretch out forever and nothing all at once. Remus who took the time to grind his coffee beans each and every morning, Remus who did the crossword - a habit he'd adopted from his mum. Remus who seemed so content in everything Sirius feared. Remus who sedated him in the most beautiful way possible.

Sirius wasn't sure it were possible for him to exist somewhere without crowds to meld into. Of course, anyone who knew him, but didn't really know him, would find that ridiculous. After all, he was The Sirius Black. He was always the centre of attention and he thrived on it. Until he didn't. He had to admit he loved the attention, but only when he chose it. He would never admit that he loved that he could hide in the shadows and step out when he was fit for the public eye.

But Remus had asked him to stay with him and his family in the small village he called home. And then he'd looked at him, and it was awfully unfair because Sirius couldn't say anything short of yes, mon amour, anything for you, you can have my soul, the world, it's yours, when Remus looked at him. And so here he was, in a village so far from London he could see the stars he was named after.

Sirius found he might like life away from the crowds of London… as long as Remus’ arms were there for him to fall into.
