A/N: hahahahaha i laughed while writing this. FYI these are all based on legit crushes i had on anime/game characters at some point in my life - see if you’ve watched the shows i’ve watched :) ILY I PROMISE I’M DOING MY BEST TO EAT THREE MEALS A DAY AND GET ADEQUATE SLEEP MWAH. also i went overboard and added an extra boy bc why not. These are a little shorter since there were 4 characters but I hope you enjoy!

Ushijima Wakatoshi

Ushijima definitely knows you’re into anime + games

Having visited your dorm room on multiple occasions he’s seen your extensive collection of manga, anime posters and you always seem to be playing on your switch whenever you have free time

Of course, he notices a significant portion of your collection is centered on male characters

And you’ve definitely mentioned a few games to him - Ikemen Sengoku, Code:Realize, Hakuouki (wow i’m really out here exposing myself) etc.

He doesn’t really mind though? Like - at the end of the day these are 2D men, whereas he is a very real boyfriend

Recently, he notices that you seem to be on your phone a lot, and you seem to be texting the same group chat very often

He asks why and you laugh - it’s not actual text messages you’re just trying out a new otome/simulation game called Mystic Messenger. He finds the name silly but he just brushes it off he’s definitely J E A L O U S

Until one day he walks into your room while you’re calling one of your friends to freak out about that specific game

You sound kind of teary from outside the door “Oh MY GOD OH MY GOD I GOT THE GOOD ENDING WITH JUMIN!” and “[friend name] I THINK I CAN DIE HAPPY I’M MARRIED TO JUMIN HAN WHAT MORE DO I NEED IN LIFE” and “HE’S SO FREAKING ATTRACTIVE UGH I AM BLESSED”

He’s like who TF is Jumin and immediately bursts into your room looking pissed off

Poor babie is all like “you’re married?” and “if you had someone else you were interested in you should have told me.” “Who is this Jumin Han???” 🧐

Oh my god you start cackling, but you manage to tell him that NO you are not married and that Jumin Han is a fictional character from the game you’re playing

Ushijima looks confused after you explain - why would you find fictional men attractive when you’re already dating him?

Tendou almost dies laughing the next day when Ushijima tells him about what happened

Oikawa Tooru

Since practice finishes pretty late he usually goes to see you at your house at night, but tonight things wrapped up earlier - he’s excited to spend more time with you

You’ve finished up most of your homework so you’ve just been rewatching Attack on Titan since you’re super excited for the new season

You’re kinda distracted/have headphones on so you don’t hear your boyfriend knock on the front door. Your mom answers it and lets him in and he climbs the stairs

He can hear your fangirling (freaking out) over something as he walks towards your room

You jump in surprise when he opens the door, because you thought he would be a bit later but immediately release your pent up excitement

“Tooru just LOOK at him he’s such a bad ass like oh my gosh he literally has swords and he’s still running around slaying the MPs who have guns. God whenever he gets angry he looks so hot,” etc. etc.

You’re shoving your laptop in his face, showing him gifs and video of attack on titan, specifically the captain of the survey corps that you are obsessed with

Tooru gets it - for him its space, shitty alien films and astronomy. For you it’s video games and anime - or more specifically, handsome characters from said franchises

Even though he understand that it’s something you’re passionate about he still makes a whole show about whining how you’re in love with Levi Ackerman (lmao i still thirst over our favorite captain) instead of him

“y/n i’m taller than him! And more handsome! He has blood on him all the time! And he’s super annoying because he’s obsessed with cleaning.” *cue pouty Tooru*

You probably shouldn’t tell him that you are an avid follower of the levi x reader tag on tumblr

Tooru still somehow finds out you’re also reading reader insert fanfic and goes BERSERK with his pouting and whining - literally everyone and their mothers have heard his sob story about how “his darling y/n is leaving me for a short germaphobic asshole”

The rest of the team finds it hilarious - the end up pranking him by posting pictures of Levi in his school locker or texting them in the volleyball groupchat (Oikawa is Suffering™)

Makki and Mattsun get him a Levi keychain for his birthday and cackle when he chucks it violently into the nearest trash can

Miya Atsumu

Doesn’t really know you’re into anime/gaming at first

I don’t think that’s on purpose - Atsumu just has such a one track mind when it comes to volleyball and he’s always busy with practice

so he just kinda doesn’t really give all the anime merch in your room a second glance even though it’s a dead giveaway

I bet Atsumu secretly watches some superhero anime - probably shounen stuff like My Hero Academia, one punch man etc.

He probably starts to notice you’re into anime/games because you’ll play games on your phone/gaming device all the time

One day he notices you’re giggling + blushing while looking at your screen. He’s curious to he heads over to you when coach says they can have a break

Peeks over your shoulder because he wants to know what you’re playing - but instead he’s greeted by some 2D samurai guy called Harada Sanosuke asking you to marry him

“Huh, I didn’t know you were into this kinda stuff y/n” tries to sound playful but internally he is screaming / ?????? WOT I DIDN’T KNOW MY S/O WAS INTO OTOME GAMES

Atsumus pretty chill about it at first, he probably teases you a lot about playing the game but isn’t really bugged about it

I mean - he knows he’s attractive and why be jealous? You only really play the game when he’s busy and you don’t really let the game play seep into your dates/hangouts

But one time he walks in on you reading some ~spicy~ hakuouki x reader fanfic and he’s like are u serious

Like you were lowkey quiet screaming to yourself and muttering “omg omg omg” when he walked in and you definitely tried to close your laptop so he couldn’t see what was open in your browser

Too bad Atsumu has mad reflexes and manages to prevent you from making your computer go to sleep

Briefly skims whatever it was that you were reading and smirks at you

“Hey, if you really want something like this, why don’t you let your real boyfriend deliver” before kissing you

Matsukawa Issei

Look, Issei just wants a chill movie/tv show night where the two of you can bundle up on the couch and binge whatever anime you feel like

Has everything set up - this man is ready to go: snacks? he has all of your favorites, couch? filled with soft pillows + multiple pillows. Attire? Comfy sweatpants shirtless 🥵

Last time he chose the series for your binge sleepover so he let you choose what the two of you were gonna watch this time

Turns out you decided to watch Psycho-Pass - it seemed like a pretty cool show, he was down with the whole dystopia/psychological concept

Starts out pretty normal, is appreciating the action + mystery elements and is glad that you chose that show

About halfway through the anime you two decide to take a break - he goes to the kitchen to refill your snacks, leaving to stretch you back.

When he comes back with more food, he notices that you’re hunched over your phone, typing something

He sneaks up behind you after he puts the food down, “Whatcha reading there babe?” You squeak and try to hide your phone, but not before he sees the words kougami x reader typed into your tumblr search bar

The thirst comments are kinda getting to him, so he decides to take things in a different direction

Suddenly you’re being pulled onto his lap, and pressed against his bare chest, Issei barely gives you time to adjust before he’s kissing you roughly, tongue plunging into your mouth

Dumbass// Park Minhyuk+Jinwoo

Request: Jinjin and Rocky are friends of y/n & they get jealous bc they both secretly like her & they fight.

Genre: Fluff

“Psst.”

You turn your head immediately as the teacher keeps talking about the usual boring topics.

“Y/n.” You hear whispers from the other side and turn to you friend, Jinwoo who was curious if you’re going to the prom, not yet asking if you have a date to the most exciting day of school year.

-“What?” You dramatically reply, trying not to catch too much attention from the other classmates but it seems like everyone are looking at you two. “Prom.” He mouths and as you just successfully read his lips, the teacher cuts you off. -“Am I interrupting you two, Miss and Mr?” The teacher says, crossing his arms against his chest and the entire class turn to look at you, except for one person.

You bow your head towards the teacher and apologize, feeling your cheeks heat up from embarrassment, slapping your own forehead and laugh.

“Are you dumb? Do you realize you always get y/n in trouble?” Minhyuk says coldly to Jinwoo, without looking at his direction as his hand keeps writing sentences in his notebook. -“Hey, it’s not that Mr. Kim didn’t say anything to me though. I also get myself in trouble.” Jinwoo replies with a giggle and sticks the pen between his teeth. -“Why do you even care? I’m her friend just like you are.” He raises an eyebrow, and goes back to not listening to a word Mr. Kim says.

The bell rings, after packing your things, you head to your friends’ desk as you always do but notice their both indifferent expressions.

“What’s wrong with you two?” You laugh, it takes you a few seconds to realize they’re annoyed by each other. -“Nothing, let’s just have lunch.” Minhyuk says and pushes Jinwoo’s shoulder slightly as he walks out of the classroom.

“Park Minhyuk.” You call him by his full name, and they both know that there’s a reason to be worried when you do so. He stops but never turns around to you, you face his back, Jinwoo follows his own lead and heads to the cafeteria.

-“Nothing, he never notices he gets you in trouble.” Minhyuk says when he turns to you and you take a step closer. “Are you talking about what happened in class?” You ask and he nods, making eye contact with you finally. “Why would- ugh Minhyuk!” You sigh, grab his wrist and drag him to the cafeteria. “We do it all the time, don’t let it bother you, I don’t want my two best friends to be annoyed by each other with that sulky face you two have.” He looked down because you didn’t notice he cares for you more than you think he does, but he didn’t even mean to fight for you to know it.

“Yah, what’s that-OH my god.” The next morning was lovely until Jinwoo entered the classroom with a bruise under his eyes, looks like it was bleeding until not long ago.

-“Y/n. Just leave it.” He gripped onto your wrist, slightly harsh at first but as soon as he realized it, he let go. “Minhyuk did it to you, didn’t he?” You ask and he just walks to his seat and places his backpack on Minhyuk’s seat, you didn’t take a second to understand you were right and that Minhyuk won’t come to school today.

You took your phone out of the back pocket of your jeans, texting Minhyuk.

You: What tf park minhyuk?!!!

It took him only few seconds to read your message, wondering what he should respond with.

Hyuk: You just never realize who’s the bad guy in situations y/n

You: Wtf are you talking about? I realize what I see and that’s your damn punch in Jinwoo’s face

Hyuk: You’re doing that again

You: doing what???

Hyuk: defending him. Like you always do.

You knew that he’s only uses punctuation marks whenever he’s upset or serious.

You: I’m coming over, I hate maths anyways

He left you on seen, usually you would care if he left you on seen but you weren’t in the mood getting more confused nor angry because of him.

You and Minhyuk are close as siblings, that you had a spare key to his house. Little did you know he’s feelings for you were more than for a sister.

“Minh-“ you knock on his door, calling his name but he opens it before you get to finish it, he noticed the smell of your perfume as he always does from kilometers away. “I need explanations.” You say, stepping inside and closing the door behind you. -“I think you need some coffee first.” He says and heads to the fridge to get you a can of your favorite coffee flavor.

“Now explain.”

-“I have nothing to explain.”

He takes a seat on the sofa, turns on the TV and sits back comfortably. Your jaw dropped since you never saw him acting like that. “That’s not you Minhyuk, what the hell is going on?”

He doesn’t even spare a look at you, just playing with the remote control and looking for something random to watch on Netflix. “Listen, I came all the way here from school-“

-“That’s 4 minutes away.”

“Shut up,” you grab the remote from his hand and turn off the TV, it was way too much for you for one morning.

-“Why can’t you never see things as they are? You’re too complicated y/n.” He sits up, a vein is showing on his forehead. “What things? Are we not speaking the same language? I can’t understand you lately.” You sigh, exhausted from all this.

-“You take his side, when I am the one to always take yours.” He confesses, makes you look up at him, he looks upset. “Well I’m sorry but he didn’t PUNCH YOUR FACE EARLY IN THE MORNING?!”

-“I was nervous and furious. Do you really think I would be able to do that just because I have a fist?”

“What do you mean-“

-“I did it because he always harms you and you don’t even notice… aish.” He mumbles the last word under his breath and stands up, heading to the kitchen.

“What’s up with you two recently? Acting strange like-“ you follow him while saying those words, suddenly he pushes you against the wall lightly yet too fast for your brain to realize what he just did. “Minhy-“ you were about to call him but he acts quicker than you can concentrate and attaches his lips against yours, holding your neck with one hand as the other is on the wall behind you.

-“Still don’t realize anything?” He asks as he pulls away, his face is still few inches from yours, his lips taste like the greatest coffee flavor. “I don’t think so, try again.” You tell him, pulling him by the shirt closer to you, tilting your head and tasting his lips.

“Dumbass.” You say once you pull away, both of you can’t help but smile at each other, hearts racing. “Why would you punch his face?” You we’re still on cloud nine from his chaste kisses but had to figure things out. -“He likes you too, dumbass.” He repeats after you.

“Who else does?” You ask with a smirk, trying to make him say that, still gripping on his shirt.

-“Ah- exhausting.” He rolls his eyes.

-“I like you, a lot, y/n.” He finally says, his eyes shine like the brightest star in the night skies.

“Okay, that’s still not a reason.” You tease him, you could swear he can hear the beating of your heart after he said those words.

“I like you too, Minhyuk. Dumbass.”

-“Is that my second name now?”

“Good idea.”

-“Don’t even think about it-“

You cut him off by pulling him again for a sweet kiss.

Y/n a great ballet dancer, Jihoon an amazing hip hop dancer. Both are on their school’s dance team, and both are top tier dancers. Except, Jihoon HATES the sight of Y/n and vice versa. The two can’t stand being in the same room with each other until they are forced to. The next school dance competition is coming, and both were forced to compete as a duet. stretched back in the chair Jihoon and I shared. “FINALLY! We’re done with the track!” “I know right, finally. It sounds awesome! I can’t wait to start the choreo!” He smiles brightly holding his hand up waiting for a high five. I blushed slightly as I reciprocated the high five. “I’m in awe, you’re incredible with mixing music together! Who knew THEE Y/n was good at something other than dance.” He chuckles. “Hey give yourself some credit too! If it weren’t for you watching me dance and getting this brilliant idea of mixing our styles we wouldn’t be here!” I confess. The boy stares at me for a moment, eyebrow raised. “Hmm, you like it when I watch you dance.” What?! “I- fuck no!” I yelled pushing him off the chair as a reflex. Jihoon glares at me from the ground, rubbing his butt from the sudden impact. “Pfffft, hahahaha!!” We burst out. “Are you guys killing each other yet?” Yoonbin enters the room. “Um, what the heck happened here?” He questions. “Oh, we just finished fixing the track.” Jihoon crosses his legs looking up at the taller boy. “Took you guys long enough it’s been almost 5 hours since you guys started.” The tall boy leans on the door frame. Wow, almost 5 hours. 5 HOURS!! HOLY SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT YEONGUE!! I rapidly grabbed my phone checking the time. 10:45 Shit.

I quickly dialed up my younger brother. “I am sooo sorry I forgot to text.” I pout from the other side of the call. “Yeah, whatever where are you I’m hungry.” Yeongue responded. I could tell he was annoyed, he hated being alone at night. “Hey, I know you’re mad and I’m sorry, I’ll pick up your favourite ramen from the store just give me a few ok.” I apologize. “Just get here quick.” And after that he hung up. Shit I fucked up so badly.

The boys were chatting away when I abruptly got up and headed for the door. “Y/n? Y/N!” I ignored Jihoons call. I put my shoes on and grabbed my bag ready to head out the door. I felt a hand grabbing my arm and stopping me. I turned around to face the culprit, Jihoon? “Where are you off to in a hurry?” “None of your business.” I deadpan. “Cut the shit Y/n it’s almost 11 pm. As much as I dislike you, I’m not going to let you leave here when it’s pitch dark outside.” Huh? Did I hear that right? Park Jihoon doesn’t want me alone at night by myself!? “Come on.” He says putting on his shoes and dragging me towards his car. “Bin!! Can you send the mix later.” He yells out. Yoonbin his thumb up, giving him the aye ok.

“Where too?” Jihoon asks staring up the car. “Convenience store.” Jihoon pulled out of the driveway and headed towards the nearest convenience store. I still can’t believe he wouldn’t let me leave. Why? A week ago he didn’t give a shit if I left without him. I looked out the window and sighed. Why does my mind keep replaying that moment? My heart fluttered at the thought of it. What no Y/n get a grip! He’s like your enemy, he’s annoying, a show off, and only cares for himself. Or does he? UGH! “Y/N!” I snap back into reality. I turn to the driver’s seat. “We’re here.” Jihoon says. I nod, getting out of the car and heading into the convenience store.

I quickly grabbed 5 packets of my brothers favourite ramen and got back into the car. “Uh, if you just turn here and follow the road-” “Don’t worry I remember.” The boy gives me a small smile. I can’t tell if that’s sweet or just plain creepy. The car ride was quiet until Jihoon spoke up. “Why did you need to leave all of the sudden? It isn’t safe at this hour.” “Yeongue.” “Pardon?” I didn’t know what came over me but, I felt like I owed him the truth. “He doesn’t like being all alone at night. Our mom isn’t really home much cause of her job, so I take care of him.” I confess. “Wow, that’s really mature of you.” I chuckle to myself. “Thanks Jihoon.”

We finally reached my house. Jihoon pulled into my driveway and unlocked the door. “Uh, let me walk you to your door.” He speaks up. What, why is he being a gentleman all of a sudden. “It’s literally a 5 second walk from your car, it’s not like I’m going to jumped.” I try refusing the offer but he insists. “True, but who knows. I don’t want my dance partner to get hurt.” Aww, that’s kinda sweet. “Or else I’ll never hear the end of it from Mr. Yang and Herin.” I take that back. “Wow, thanks.” I rolled my eyes and got out of the car.

Jihoon and I walked towards my front door in silence. No, more like AWKWARD silence. Once we reached the front door the both of us awkwardly turned to each other. “Uh, so this’s me.” I say avoiding his gaze. “Yeah, guess it is.” Why is he acting all coy now? Like a minute ago he was insulting me. And they say girls are the confusing ones. I grabbed my keys from my bag and reached to open the door.

“Y/n! Thanks.” I turned to him in surprise. “Thanks? Thanks for what?” I raised an eyebrow. “I mean for listening to my ideas and with the mix.” Jihoon scratches the back of his neck avoiding my gaze. I stare at him blankly. Huh? Is he being grateful for once? And is he BLUSHING?! No, Y/n get a hold of yourself, he’d never. “No problem Ji.” I smile brightly. He shifted his gaze back to me, eyes lighting up like a puppy. Shit. The boy smiles back. His smile, why haven’t I noticed it before? “Ji, I like that nickname.”

The two of us stood there as if time stopped. It was just me and him, and for once I didn’t really mind the company. “FINALLY! You’ve been gone for so long- Oh. My. God, was I disturbing something?” Yeongue bursts through the door. Both of us jumping back from surprise. “WHAT NO! NOTHING WAS HAPPENING!” I scream. “EXACTLY! GET YOUR MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER GUE!” Jihoon screams. “Nothing would ever happen between us.” I huff. “Yeah.” Jihoon says with slight disappointment in his voice. I stepped into my house beside Yeongue. “Anyways, before we got RUDELY interrupted.” I nudge my younger brother. “I was going to say thanks for the ride.” I say growing quiet. “Anytime.” Jihoon replies. The tall boy turns around and walks back to his car.

“Are you sure~ nothing was happening between you guys?” Yeongue nudges. “Of course NOT! There was just an awkward silence between the two of us.” Yeah, that. Awkward silence. I looked over at Jihoon and sighed. Today wasn’t as bad with him by my side, it was kinda fun. I looked down and smiled to myself trying to keep my happiness to myself. But little did I know my brother notices this. “Hmmm, then you wouldn’t mind if he stayed over for dinner?” “Sure.” I accidentally let slip out. “Great! Oh Jihoon~” Wait. WAIT! “wAIT, I DIDN’T MEAN!” It was too late, my brother snatched the plastic bag full of ramen and ran over to the car. This little shit, I swear to God.

“Jihoon since you brought my sister home, I’d like to thank you by inviting you to have dinner with us.” Yeongue smiles with his eyes practically begging the older boy to stay. “Uhhhh.” He hesitates. Yes, please say no. “What about your mom, I’m sure she wouldn’t like a boy over this late.” He lets out. “Noooo, it’s fine moms not home anyways.” My brother counters. “I- what about your sister, she doesn’t seem to like me.” He glances at me, as I stick out my tongue. He chuckles. “Aww, common she’s always like that don’t mind her! Please stay it’ll be fun common, pLEASE!” Yeongue begs. I glance at Jihoon leaning on the door frame of my house. He seemed flustered at my brothers cuteness, I laugh to myself. No one can resist my brother cuteness. The boy thought about it for awhile, then finally gave in. “Sure why not.” Yeongue really owes me after this. I thought dragging my feet into the house. This is gonna be a long night.

I was currently in the kitchen cooking three packs of ramen I bought, while the two boys were in the living room chatting away with a movie played in the background. I boiled the water and placed the soup base along with the ramen. I sat on the counter watching the movie from the kitchen, sometimes glancing at my brother and Jihoon. I started thinking back to Yoonbin’s house. Man, I think that was the first time Jihoon and I really got along. I look towards the boy sitting on my couch, head facing the tv, once in a while turning to my brother, cracking a joke or two about how the movie was so cringe. He really knew how to treat my brother. I raised my hand to my cheek. Huh? Am I blushing? Park Jihoon what are you doing to me, I’m supposed to hate you. I shook the thoughts from my head and went back to cooking ramen.

“Ramens ready!” I yell bringing the pot to the coffee table, resting it on an oven mitt so the table wouldn’t burn. “Took you long enough.” Jihoon blurts out. “I’m sorry, lemme just tell the ramen to cook faster next time.” I say sarcastically. “Hey, be nice he’s a guest.” My brother glares at me. “hEy, He’S a GuEsT bE nICe, go get some bowls and chopsticks, will ya.” I mock. Yeongue reluctantly gets up and goes to the kitchen. “Hey, Jihoon you know you could’ve declined right?” I say sitting down beside him. “Hmm? Oh I know but, your brother was just so convincing, yaknow with his face.” He says waving a hand over his face, I chucked punching his shoulder slightly. The boy smiles running his hand through his hair. “Got the stuff.” Yeongue says placing the cutlery in front of us. “Alright let’s dig in.” I say sticking my chopsticks into the pot grabbing some ramen.

It was currently 1:25 am. The three of us finished the ramen and the movie. Yeongue was on the couch currently asleep, he didn’t finish the movie with us. While Jihoon and I were on the floor sitting. “Man I love this movie.” I yawn. “It’s alright.” Jihoon lets out. “What? Oh come on! This movie is so good! The way the main character and her crush got together was so cute! I pout. “Ok, fine I give, it was cute.” My eyes lit up as I smiled at him. “I can’t wait for the next movie, the guy from camp comes back.” I start to ramble, not noticing Jihoon staring at me, his cheeks turning a faint pink. “Hey, quiet down your brothers sleeping.” Jihoon cuts me off. Hmmm? “Oh crap right. How am I gonna get him to his room.” I questioned. “I mean I can carry him.” Jihoon suggests. “No, its ok you must be tired, I’ll do it.” I protest. I got up and hovered over my brother preparing myself to carry him to his room. I was about to pick him up when I felt a hand on my shoulder. “Don’t worry Y/n I got this.” He shoots me a reassuring smile. I took a step back and let him pick my brother. “Uh, follow me.” I slightly blush leading the boy up the stairs to Yeongue’s room.

After tucking my brother into bed we headed down stairs to clean up. “Thanks.” “No problem.” Jihoon says. I headed over to the living room to go collect the dishes left on the coffee table. “Hey lemme help, I help create this mess, so let me help clean.” Jihoon says taking the dishes and heading to the kitchen. “Whatever.” I roll my eyes trailing behind him. The two of us stood at the sink In silence washing the dishes, till I felt something wet on my face. I glared at the person next to me who was holding the detachable sink head while snickering. “Park. Jihoon!” I shout. He sprays me again. “Aye, shut up or you brother will wake up and think somethings going on between us.” He says smirking with his index finger over his mouth. I stared at the boy with rage in my eyes yet my face was flushed from his comment. “It’s so on Park!” I say grabbing a cup of water and throwing it at him.” And thus a heated water battle started. Puddles of water started to form on the kitchen floor, both of us running around the kitchen trying to avoid each other’s attacks.

*THUD* I slipped on one of the puddles of water, laughing my head off, while Jihoon came over to help me up. “Omg, Y/n are you ok!” He says while still laughing. “Yeah I’m fine just a little sore.” I look at him smiling. He stuck his hand helping me up. “I’m so screwed when my mom comes home to this mess.” I say looking around seeing water scattered all over the place. Jihoon chuckles, “Sorry about that.” He scratches the back of his neck with his other hand, as his other is still occupied with holding mine. Honestly, I didn’t really mind.

Genre: fluff, bullet point scenario

A/N please read the introduction first!

when you were dropped off at the house you completely expected to be the first to arrive seeing as it was 4 in the morning

but when you opened the door you saw another pair of shoes in the foyer and could hear someone moving around the kitchen

all previous fatigue left your body because shit you were not expecting human interaction this early in the morning you just wanted to slip into bed and s l e e p

your brain was going full throttle trying to think of ways to slip around the mystery person and just hide in your room when the front door slammed closed behind you, crushing all hopes of escape in its wake

you froze, luggage in hand, as the kitchen turned silent

a head slowly peaked around the corner and holy shit the sun rose early today because right in front of you was none other than lee donghyuck, sunny boi haechan himself

his smile nearly blinded you, a soft ‘hello’ fell past your lips

however, upon making eye contact with you, haechan’s smile faltered, a greeting failing to leave him

marking it up to a lack of sleep, you quickly introduced yourself before excusing yourself to your room

a few hours later and you finally felt rested enough to go out and meet the rest of your housemates, plus someone was cooking and it smelled absolutely wonderful

while making yourself presentable, you were able to meet your roommates as they were floating in and out of the bedroom

they were both lovely, one a fashion designer and the other a graduate student studying agriculture idk this was the first thing i thought of

after cleaning up a little you left the room and headed towards the kitchen where your roommates had informed you everyone had gathered

as soon as you entered the room you were once again greeted with haechan’s smiling face

he was sat at the table chatting with the fashion designer and another male figure who looked around your age

his eyes locked with yours and suddenly he froze, causing his two companions to turn and face you

your roommate’s face lit up in delight, glad that “you finally decided to grace us with your presence!”

a small laugh escaped you and you settled into the only available seat left remaining, next to the male who introduced himself as jihoon, an aspiring artist, the same age as yourself

upon discovering you were the same age the table filled with teasing “ooh’s” from your surrounding housemates, all except haechan

he shifted uncomfortably in his seat while you hid your face in embarrassment

after everyone settled down, introductions were made and you all began to break off into your own conversations, all except for hyuck

every attempt you made to engage him was brushed off with one worded answers

you and jihoon found common ground in your love for hiking, your agriculture major roommate, aeri, joining the conversation halfway through

slowly the kitchen began to empty and you found yourself alone with hyuck

before you could even open your mouth, he stood up abruptly and rushed out of the room, mumbling something about being late for practice, leaving you flustered in your seat

weeks passed and your bond with jihoon and aeri grew, but still no luck with haechan

it seemed that everyone in the house except for you was his best friend

every time it was the two of you alone in a room, he suddenly became flustered and made up an excuse to leave

you did your best to remain unbothered, it would be a lie if you said you had no feelings for hyuck, i mean he was your bias but no one needed to know that

all you could do was pray the production team wouldn’t make you look like an idiot once the footage aired nobody wants angry fangirls coming for their ass

you did your best to ignore the awkward interactions and hung out mostly with jihoon and aeri

you grew closer with each day, and when jihoon told you he liked aeri you almost woke the whole house with how loudly you fangirled

aeri had just told you she was gaining feelings for jihoon a few days before so obviously you took this as your initiative to set the two up since you had basically given up all hope on your love life rip hyuck wyd get your act together

so you decided to do something you all loved: hiking ik this a weird choice i just need it for the purpose of this fic and i now realize this could have worked with yuta better pls give me a break

so you find the perfect trail and plan everything out perfectly and you tell jihoon and aeri about this amazing new trail and you should all go together!!! and they’re like hell yEa!!!!

but then jihoon suggests you invite hyuck bc he happens to have a day off that day and he seems really stressed and a nice hike could help clear his mind lol @ hanbin and well you’d feel like an ass if you said no so you hesitantly agree

and jihoon’s all great!!! bc he sees this as his chance to set you and hyuck up he’s roommates with the kid he knows he has feelings for you silly kids so oblivious to each other’s feelings

so that’s how you end up on a hike with haechan while simultaneously trying to set up your two best friends

part of said plan was to tie your shoe and tell them to go ahead without you, leaving the two alone, but now you have no idea how to do that with hyuck there as well

the four of you begin your trek up the mountain making small talk aka jihoon trying to get hyuck to talk to you

and miraculously, somehow it works bc now you and hyuck are having a small conversation

but the whole time you’re glancing up at jihoon to make sure the two of you are falling behind

unbeknownst to you haechan is getting annoyed bc you’re talking to him pay attention to him >:( also he’s highkey jealous of your friendship with jihoon and he’s convinced you like jihoon despite him constantly telling hyuck it’s not like that

as the distance between the two groups grows you can feel hyuck growing more and more frustrated with you and he begins to speed up

assuming he’s frustrated because you’re slowing him down, you finally decide to reveal your plan to him

you scramble to catch up to him, not paying attention to the terrain and woops there goes your ankle

you let out a small cry and hyuck’s head whips around to see you sitting and cradling your foot

boi frEaks tf OuT

he turns to call for jihoon and aeri but they’re already out of sight and he doesn’t want to leave you alone so he zOOmS down to you

“don’t you hike all the time i thought you were supposed to be good at this?”

“ShuT UP hYUcK i’m in PAIN” you yell at him and he blushes bc a) you’re cute when angry and b) you called him hyuck omg he’s so soft for you

but he snaps out of it bc the love of his life you’re hurt!

since he’s a dancer he’s no stranger to injuries, especially rolled ankles

he props your ankle up while the camera crew calls for help

and you’re just sat there mumbling on about how “well this is one way to make the plan work”

and he looks over at you confused bc “what plan?? wait omg did you bring me out here to kiLL mE IS THAT WHY YOU WERE SLOWING US DOWN????”

but you’re just like omg no hyuck i was trying to get jihoon and aeri alone so they would cOnFEsS!

ad he’s just like...oh...but...don’t you like jihoon why would you want to set them up?

and at this point you completely forget about your ankle bc you want to slap the obliviousness out of his head

“no i don’t like him why would i be trying to set him up with aeri if i did??”

“well that’s wHY i was AsKInG!!!”

“ no i don’t like him i like you you idiot”

911 hyuck found dead on a mountain his heart exploded

you both just freeze while the production team is just smiling bc damn this episode is going to get the views to sKyrOCket

now hyuck is all (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧ while you’re all (⊙ω⊙✿) bc fuck you just confessed to this boi who hasn’t even spoken to you before today

but hyuck just sits back on his heels and huffs and gets all pouty so now you’re all confusion bc y is this boy sad does he hAtE mE OH MY GOD

but then hyuck just goes “this whole time i thought you liked jihoon and i was too shy to talk to you so i thought i lost all chance with you but this whole time you liked me why am i so dumb oh my god the guys are never going to let me live this one down-”

and you know what you do to shut him up? a kiss on the CHEEk girlies not the lips consent is number one

and he blushes oooh boy and production crew is about to diE bc they know they’re getting a season renewal after this episode

eventually jihoon and aeri come down bc they noticed you guys went missing smh they were too wrapped up in each other

and they’re holding hands and smiling and you’re just like hell yea that’s my otp except they notice the paramedics around you so they’re all concerned but you’re just like nah fam it’s fine anyways tell me what happened on top of the mountain hmmmm ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

and they go on about how it was so romantic and you’re eating up until they noticed you and hyuck holding hands and now it’s their turn to interrogate you two

somehow you all make it off the mountain and your ankle was fine just need to ice it and you’ll be all good

a few days later after your ankle is 100% you and hyuck go on your first official date

you get dinner and then walk around hongdae a bit before returning home and chill watching the tv

but hyuck can’t focus bc you just look so prEtTY and you can’t focus bc omg why is this boy staring at me???

you look over at him and make eye contact bc, well, he can’t take his eyes off of you

time freezes and you both slowly lean into each other until your lips meet

the kiss doesn’t last long bc you both can’t stop smiling

meanwhile the cameramen are all crying bc yall are just too cute and the producers are ready to be rolling in cash

the rest of the show is spent with you guys and jihoon and aeri fighting over who’s the real otp of the show while the other two housemates just watch in amusement like “oh these kids”

“Soooo, I’ve been wondering…. why have you been so sweet to me? With all the nice gifts and stuff?”

He would immediately go red in the face

His eyes would go wide

And he’d just stand there a moment with his mouth hanging open not knowing wtf to do

And you feel kinda bad tbh

No one likes being in such an awkward situation so the way you just asked him out-of-the-blue seemed almost cruel

He finally managed to stutter out

“W-well umm…. I k-kinda… sort o-of l-like you…?”

It deadass took him a whole 30sec to finish

And you’re doing an Irish jig on the inside cause

WOOT WOOT he likes you too!!

“I really like you too, Seungmin” you say quickly before he can run off in embarrassment

He looks at you hella confused like

And you also blush like crazy, also fighting the urge to run away

When he introduces you to the rest of the group

And then they’ll start poking fun at Seungmin

“AWWWW they’re so lovely! How on earth did you get them to date you??” Says Jisung

“I bet he pays them” replies Minho, cackling

“Must have been a lot of money” chipped in Changbin, enjoying himself

All the while Seungmin makes a face like ‘this is the shit I need to put up with all the time good lord’

“Come on guys! Of course y/n didn’t agree to this for money” yells Jeongin

Seungmin is about to thank him when he finishes:

“They obviously came to meet me through Hyung” and he sprints off at top speed with Seungmin hot on his heels screaming bloody murder

“Please take care of him, y/n” Chan says quietly while the other boys guffaw at the two youngest’s behavior. “He really likes you”

And that’s exactly what you do

You guys have got each others back

No matter what

Someone tries to offend you in any way, shape or form

And he’s there in front of you like a human shield ready to fight

If he gets sick you’re there as quick as a flash with everything he needs, all the way from cold remedies to recipes for hot soup

While you’re making sure he’s not burning up, he’ll just whisper

“Can I just cuddle you? I swear I won’t sneeze on you”

So you just lie there holding each other the entire day

He keeps his promise and doesn’t sneeze on you btw

When you’re sick, he’s not gonna know what the hell to do

Lost puppy

He’ll run around trying to find the right meds for you (he’ll take the time to read each label to make sure it’s the right one)

He’ll try to make soup it doesn’t work

But after a while he’ll calm down and sit with you to watch something on TV

Apologising that he couldn’t make your fav meal

Makes up for it by buying takeout

Man I want takeout now :(

He can sometimes feel down about the day

Something might have happened at the fansign/performance, he might feel really tired and fed up with work

So it’s your job to be there and comfort him

You just wrap your arms around him and sit with his head on your shoulder

And he cries silently with you, grateful that you’re with him

Guess who’s emo while writing this

Sometimes days can get bad enough that he starts to shut you out all-together

Seungmin isn’t the direct type

He isn’t gonna start an argument because he’s stressed

He’s gonna avoid any kind of conflict

So he avoids you, ignores you, refuses to talk to you when he’s too upset

Because he doesn’t want to lash out and hurt you

But he’ll notice when he does this that it actually does hurt you

Almost more than an argument would

Because you want to help

And he won’t let you

So he’ll eventually come to talk to you, his head bowed and eyes glimmering with tears

And he’ll just hug you, asking for you to forgive how stupid he can be

RIGHT back to fluff because I don’t want to cry rn

He loves to teach you to sing his parts in every song

He feels you can understand his work better and be closer to him

You two will end up sometimes randomly singing his part in a song at the top of your lungs in the dorm, in turn pissing off the rest of the boys

You’ll both have singing competitions: who can sing the highest, lowest, longest, or most dramatically

And you both end up collapsing from laughing too hard

He’s gonna try to speak English around you

Just so he can practice

Have you heard his awesome accent during ASC that is a yes from me I don’t want to forget that

He might ask you for help but he’s mostly too stubborn and proud to so he’ll struggle for a while until you ask if he wants a helping hand

“Hey, need help for the pronunciation, there?”

“Nope! Nope it’s fine! I’m fine! Toooootally fine” :D

You two like trying to learn new recipes to cook for the rest of SK

It’s actually super fun

And you both manage to make a few dishes without setting the dorms on fire *applause*

And you make breakfast for them too: fried eggs! now I’m really hungry aw man

And the boys are already teasing you talking about how you’re couple goals and how well you two go together

Making the both of you sprint back into the kitchen, giggling like children

Seungmin is gonna ask you to meet his family first

But it doesn’t scare you that much

For a good reason:

He’s an angel, so he must have been raised by angels logic

You meet them and they melt when they see you

You chat, they share pictures of Seungmin when he was little he’s gonna be close to crying from embarrassment because “COME ON YOU JUST MET”

His sister adores you

Tells you about the pranks she’s pulled on her poor bro in the past

Which warrants a death glare from Seungmin

All in all his fam are your fam because they love you as much as they love Seungmin

He’s a lot A LOT more nervous about meeting your parents

He’s pretty damn close to fainting when the day to meet up comes

Pale as sheet istg

So you gotta be there for him to cling onto like a baby koala

Save this boy I beg of you

Nearly hides behind you when he first greets your parents

Basically leaps out of his skin every time someone raises their voice even a little bit

But he gets a little calmer after a while

And starts to genuinely smile and laugh

By the end of the day he’s a happy squish with no sign of nervousness

Success!

In the evenings he likes to buy a crap-ton of snacks and sit with you to binge watch your fav show

You two will probs have a competition to see who can catch the most food in their mouth sigh

He loves when you poke his left cheek

He’ll act cute with you if he’s asking for something

And it’s so freaking hard to say no damn it!!

He’ll have a fucking heart attack if he sees you wearing one of his hoodies or denim jackets like how many does he actually have??

But he’ll love it

He’s gonna grin from ear to ear saying how cute you look

Will not let you go throughout the night

Just wants to cling to you and snuggle you to death the entire evening

You’ve probs already guessed that he is definitely not gonna be the first one to say ‘I love you’

Nah he’s way to shy and lowkey scared to

But I bet you’re gonna do it kinda by accident

You guys have been having a dance competition

He’s gonna be jumping around all energetic and happy

Because he’s having the time of his life messing around with you

And you’ll accidentally let slip:

“You’re such a dork! This is why I love you so much”

And both of you stop laughing and stare at each other

While you’re mentally going OH SHIT WHAT HAVE I DONE

But Seungmin suddenly screams like a little girl

He can’t contain himself

Runs at you at full speed

And tackles you into a bone-crushing hug

Making you both topple over onto the floor laughing

Without letting you go, he’s gonna say, all giddy “I love you too!!! I was scared to say it but I’m not anymore I do love youuuuuuu!!”

And the rest of the day you’re both skipping around, making SK wonder wtf happened to the two of you

“Are they possessed or something?” -Hyunjin

“Who even knows with those two” -Chan

“Guess we’ll never know” -Felix, chuckling

Half the time they don’t get at all what happens between you two lmao

When Stray Kids are away, Seungmin’s gonna want to FaceTime you whenever he’s free

He’s a pouty boy who misses you senseless and forgets how to function like a proper human being when you’re not around

SK are having to tell him specifically what to do every other minute because he keeps daydreaming about when he gets to see you again smh

He’s gonna be so.freakin.hyper on the way back from wherever the boys were

No one wants to sit next to him on the plane because they know all he’s gonna want to do is talk about you

And they get enough of that on a regular basis anyway

But they’re happy at how energetic he is when they land and he can finally see you

He’s gonna Naruto run to you and hug you so tightly whispering how much he missed you

And you’ll be laughing like

“It’s been two days, buddy”

“Yeah but it feels like AGES! It’s been an eternity and I was going insane!!”

Seungmin most likely won’t go public about your relationship until after a year to a year-and-a-half

Wants to make sure you’re 100% ok with it

Because he knows there will be a bit probably a lot of drama on the net about you

He’ll post a cute selfie of the two of you

You’re both smiling happily

And he’ll caption it: ‘Hey everyone!! This is y/n, we’ve been together for quite a while now, and I wanted to introduce you! I hope you welcome them warmly!’

My two week holiday

1st day, Monday: slept in and did things under the definition of “doing nothing” for the remaining hours of the day [overall calm day, it was just the beginning, I deserved to have spent it doing nothing]

2nd day: absolute fucking shit. Mum and dad were fucking rude and I really disliked everything about them that day. So fucking annoying. Really more just my mother. Dad was just a part of it. She annoyed the fuck out of me. I even talked back. Outfit was shit, going out with them was a mistake, for what? Two seconds in a shop then straight home hearing a bitch complain the whole time and be in a bad mood like she always is and then with you too then it having you in a fucked up angry pissy mood toward her and the whole goddamn world? [overall was a shitty shit fucking day]

3rd day: I went and watched toy story 4. I was late for that even and missed the first 12-13 minutes. Got a free ticket bc a friend works there so there’s that. Some guys took my seat but wasn’t a bother. I was hungry and wanted to eat my meal deal pasta from my bag but there was too much light and not enough darkness in the room I didn’t wanna have eyes on me. I looked cute af but carrying my jacket and bag bothered the outfit. Came in handy later when I left ofc bc it was cold. Gonna wear it again bc I looked cute and need some pictures to post in it. On the way out of the shopping centre I wanted someone with me for the whole day and any days I spend like this. And for a bigger matter to have them just to have made all my days better. If I had someone who came onto my do nothing adventures and days out I’d be so happy to have them. I wanted a lover but even a sloppy not a care in the world type of person would do. Just need someone I can inside out get on with and be my absolute self with every second I am with them. Like the way I am alone by myslef is how I’d absolutely be but with someone just beside me doing them also and me being beside them. That’s all I want. Someone to get me and for me to get them and just be one altogether bc we both the same type of people. Doing nothing together and being happy bc we’re just hanging out in the company of one another. I’m cute and an interesting bubbly go to stylish small huggable laidback old soul and nice occasionally or sometimes funny person who cares and loves deep, where’s my person? I’m ready for you. [overall was a fine day, slept in, woke up got ready and left by 5:42, got home no later than half ten]

Completelyyyy going of task there but if that’s where it lead to than that’s where it went. I’m just not gonna fight that habit of mine lol.

Day 4: Thursday. The day that just went. I woke up midday again. I really haven’t been wanting to these past few days bc I have shit to do like clean up my room and go out to spend days by myself and catch films in the dark. And even do some journal work. Set an alarm to wake up around 1:30 even but I slept in after it and had no clue about it much when I turned it off. Had a fucked up movie based dream I wrote about someplace else. Got up and watched some dead tv. The whole fucking day man nothing was on. It’s a fucking Thursday where are all the mad movies and things to watch please. I barely watch tv and today just wasted my time wanting there to be something good to watch but there was nothing at all for every time I checked throughout the day. Absolute piss take mate. Nothing to eat. I seriously have no hunger for whatever my mum cooks anymore. Need food how they serve it in restaurants or other family homes with sides and new dishes everyday. Like I ain’t even being horrible. My appetite goes the moment I think to go eat food in my own kitchen. I starve bc my body has no motive to get up and go eat what’s in my own house. I don’t want it to be like this but it is. I eat it ofc but I yearn for different dishes and not this for awhile at least. Anyways spent the day again doing nish. I was pissed of many times. My sandals went missing three times and before the third I told the perpetrator not to ever again move or touch them and the third time they had done it and I just lose my shit with little things like that. Like I told you not to, again and again with a mean voice and you got it yet you did it again. I have in the past tried to let things like this go but people take the piss and I don’t care I am happy to lose to my shit bc I’m so mad I can’t not. It’ll hurt more to not express it bc something has to be done about this, I can’t let it slide no more. I absolutely hate people touching my shit. Even later on found out my scarf drawer in my old room wasn’t my scarf drawer anymore. I go there to put something in and it’s overtaken by my sisters clothes. She shoved all my scarves in a box under the bed. I wasn’t mad about the move just immensely annoyed after the day of being pissed number of times I wasn’t consulted about this trade. If I had known about it I wouldn’t have gotten mad but it’s like a smack in the face when your belongings in a drawer it’s always been in isn’t there when you go to it. Like tf mf? There could have been something else in there to which I faintly remember was a folded up piece of paper maybe. She said nothing of it when I asked her but I’m sure there was as I remember something like that for sure. As it was a drawer I barely ever needed to open. Mum pissed me off just bc she was around at one point bc as we know on here we don’t hang at all. We hugged the other day and it was alright I guess. She wanted it and was in a good ass mood and I didn’t mind it she’s my loving mother. She usually bugs me sometimes just being around idky there’s more to it but I don’t wanna get into that rn. All that needs to be said is I’ll cry my eyes out if anything ever happens to her bc I love that woman as much as it is never brought to my attention inside of me I’ll realise just how much if anything ever happens to her. For now I just wanna be pissy at her bc of the way she is with me being her daughter. Like fuck just let me be who I fucking wanna be fuck sake. Comfortablly day in the living room watching an ep of a new show whilst munching some chewits but then interrupted by mother needing to pray. Up I went vaguely listening to her telling me to go pray alongside other views of religion she’s advising me to follow like always. Nothing more ruins us than her telling me things of Islam and me not taking it in anymore or wanting to hear it to getting up and just leaving the scene so she also gets the message. Watched another episode anyway upstairs and finally folded the 3 day old laundry she’d been wanting/nagging me to do. The whole time I was mad pissed off at her that I just cursed out loud doing it

If anything dropped on the floor I’d get more pissed and curse more. Just many many times I’d been pissed today. I even had my own feelings bother me about how shitty my life is and how fast the day is going bc I keep sleeping in. That’s why it’s a bother. I feel the day last shorter than how short it originally already is. So that’s been a subliminal bother sometimes a forefront one too. I attempted to begin cleaning my room after but with the light on in my room and it being late like 10-11 I didn’t like the vibe of anything at all. My phone was red zone 20%. The fact that I’ve been thinking A LoT this week off about how much I’ve been glued to my phone everyday almost every second. Fuck sake it’s easy to not be on it but hard same too bc I don’t wanna do nothing else but mindlessly be on my phone. Mindlessly you hear. Anyways I ended up taking pictures of my mess inside my wardrobe of my mini belongings. Kid sister went and fell asleep elsewhere. Seriously bugs me I can’t tend to her needs or give her attention like i can without a problem but I just don’t. It’s either the thing I wanna do or give her the time. I choose my whatever more than her and I know this, feel it and think of this. I suck and everything sucks. Just more shit that adds onto my conscience and moods of severe sadness in me. I been knowing this for time and had intentions to chnage uo for her and I barely met them. I can still make it right so I hope I do after today. I hope I hope. I really hope. Gosh emotions aren’t far away. Anyway it was mostly that off vibe I got and didn’t wanna clean my room anymore so left it went downstairs or whatever.

I’ve been meaning to clean my room for 2 months straight now. Every day off I was tired or going out when deep down I just wanted a lay in. Never would have had the energy and mindset to clean my room if I did stay in tho. It was top of my list to do so in this holiday and I attempted but didn’t succeed. Will do next day or so for sure! Friday also come, be good. Wake up early bitch.

DIRK: -has been up since the wee hours trying to get a signal on the lake house's tv. not only to keep on top of current events, but also to make sure they can catch the show his dad and uncle are planning on broadcasting. he can't miss that... plus, this gives him something to do with his hands. it's a win-win-

SOLLUX: -He can't sleep. It's not a completely unusual occurrence, but it's definitely unwanted when there's so little for him to occupy his mind with. He's frustrated with his own sleeplessness, and he elects to drift around corners of the lake house, smelling his way around and brushing into edges here and there.-

ARADIA: -she's awake also, sitting at a table in the kitchen and staring out the window, watching the scene outside-

MEULIN: -pads over and touches Dirk's whiskers with her beans while they converse. TUCH.-

ARADIA: it was pretty incredible

DIRK: -wow, affection. he almost forgot what that feels like. whoops. he gives meulin's hair a pet and cracks a small smile at both her and rose's combined presence. they're wonderful.-

DIRK: I wish I could've been there.

ROSE: At this risk of sounding inappropriate at a time like this, I am, in fact, quite glad that you weren't.

ROSE: I don't think there is anyone I'd wish that place upon.

ROSE: Not that it matters now, I suppose.

MEULIN: IT WAS PRETTY GROSS ON A WHOLE.

DIRK: Oh yeah, I got the TV to work this morning too. That's a thing.

MEULIN: -prrrr rumbles, then perks ears.- TV? WHAT'S IT SAY?

DIRK: Still a lot of buzz about what y'all did. And my uncle's twitter war.

DIRK: You know the Virginia folks are gonna broadcast some kind of concert as a big fuck you to the presidents? Now that I definitely wish I was there for.

ROSE: I kind of like the idea of that.

ROSE: I'm not sure. I may be done with eating, possibly forever.

DIRK: But she's suffering.

DIRK: -pours bowls for everybody once it's done. it's tomato... hands meu a bowl, then slides a couple at sollux and aradia before shuffling over to rose. eat...-

ROSE: -....ok so tomato soup she can probably do no matter how much it may resemble the blood of guy fieri.-

ROSE: -She tries to make it hover-- but urgh.-

ROSE: -nevermind.-

ROSE: -she just puts it on her stomach and eats it from there.-

MEULIN: - 👀tomato soup-

SOLLUX: -very slowly extracts himself from the hair prison-

ARADIA: dont get stuck

ARADIA: thanks dirk

DIRK: Think nothing of it. -goes to join them at the table to eat, but he's just kinda poking at the soup.-

SOLLUX: -grunts and just sort of touches his spoon.-

MEULIN: -SLRRRPS in the bg-

MEULIN: I STILL HAVE SOME MOOSE MEAT IF ANYONE WANTS.

DIRK: Huh.

DIRK: Maybe later.

ROSE: They killed a moose, by the way.

ROSE: -slurps...-

ROSE: Do we have a plan of attack, yet?

DIRK: ... Not quite.

DIRK: Haven't really... been able to focus.

[[ There's a soft glow of green that grows stronger suddenly, and there's a humanoid shape that hovers into the kitchen through the wall. There's some slime left behind. Oops. ]]

JADESPRITE: hi

ARADIA: -turns to smile at jade sprite- hi

JADESPRITE: -holds up a paw- i didnt want to interrupt especially since i cant eat or

JADESPRITE: contribute much else but

JADESPRITE: we did have some ideas

ROSE: -Blinks-

ROSE: -SHE CAN'T BELIEVE SHE FORGOT ABOUT JADESPRITE-

ROSE: Oh.

ROSE: Hello.

DIRK: -blinks in jadesprite's direction also.- ... Yeah?

JADESPRITE: yes

JADESPRITE: but i think maybe first we should talk about what's going on

ROSE: Right.

JADESPRITE: davesprite has been watching jade

JADESPRITE: something like this has happened before, in the universe we're from -laces her paw fingers together-

JADESPRITE: so we know what she's capable of

JADESPRITE: though you probably already figured out she was the one that zapped you around the country

JADESPRITE: she has full control of that power now

ROSE: Right. So we can't do anything to her head on, or with her awareness. ROSE: We'll just be in the same position we were before.

JADESPRITE: essentially yes

JADESPRITE: so someone has to deal with her

JADESPRITE: thats why were volunteering ourselves

JADESPRITE: -carefully, she pulls out some sort of pendant with a Skaianet symbol and dangles it in the air- i managed to recreate a device that davesprite has for myself

JADESPRITE: id like to give it to one of you for safekeeping, in case i need it

JADESPRITE: i can go into it and also be summoned to its location

JADESPRITE: jade has the one of davesprite's

DIRK: ... I can take it. -holds out his hand-

JADESPRITE: -smiles a little and offers it over to him- thanks

JADESPRITE: anything she tries to do to us would be significantly less dangerous than to any of you, and we should be able to come back quickly with these

JADESPRITE: besides... someone also has to handle jane

JADESPRITE: she doesnt have the same powers but... she is dangerous

ROSE: I... right. I suppose we're going to have to incapacitate them.

JADESPRITE: somehow, yes

JADESPRITE: but we can buy as much time as possible

JADESPRITE: but if it came down to it...

JADESPRITE: ...well, im sure well figure out something

ROSE: Right.

ROSE: I could probably buy time with Jane, at least.

ROSE: But I can't imagine deprogramming them will be... easy.

DIRK: -quietly puts the pendant on to keep it close, tucking it under his shirt, but he's zoning in and out of this conversation and it's frustrating him a little because he NEEDS to be a part of this.-

JADESPRITE: right

JADESPRITE: the brainwashing is affecting jades filters and inhibitions at the same time its telling her whos in control

JADESPRITE: all her repressed thoughts are loose

JADESPRITE: so it's not just the obedience thats the problem... -shakes her head- im sure jane is feeling something similar

JADESPRITE: um... anyway

JADESPRITE: hal has the ship just outside the atmosphere

JADESPRITE: weve managed to talk to him safely from space

JADESPRITE: horuss is still cloaking the ship too but im not sure what theyre planning to do

JADESPRITE: hal is being sort of cagey about it

ROSE: -She frowns.-

ROSE: Is this something that... happened to you?

JADESPRITE: ...

JADESPRITE: i think so

JADESPRITE: its not all clear but...

JADESPRITE: between my memories and davesprite's i feel sure that it's something i know well

ROSE: Do you have any foggy memories of getting out?

JADESPRITE: no...

JADESPRITE: it just feels like i went to sleep for a long time

ROSE: Ah.

ROSE: -She nods.-

ROSE: Well. That's an option.

ROSE: Knock her out somehow.

DIRK: I wonder if the Serkets would have any effect on them. -manages to chime in-

DIRK: I don't like suggesting that, but it might be one of our safest options. I'd rather not knock them out forcefully.

ROSE: Well, we can't waste our opportunity.

ARADIA: trust your instincts and dont doubt yourself

JADESPRITE: -hovers thoughtfully- ...

JADESPRITE: it could work

JADESPRITE: we will just have to be careful

JADESPRITE: if jade knows whats coming she could zap them away

ROSE: ...

ROSE: -sorta. Takes in a deep breath through her teeth.-

ROSE: Okay.

MEULIN: -she's already finished her soup, and now she's just sort of contemplating the bowl... everyone's working so hard-
