not many people online atm so i figured i’d show off theo’s freshly customized moles :) i'll post a proper close up of his face moles later because i'm obsessed, but for now here’s the full thing.

also this is how this background looks with the character page (this isn't the pic i'll be using, i was just testing things out). i'll probably alter the code to match the background rather than editing the background’s color, i think.

#wondering how &/or why i made this? well because i needed to keep myself awake today and also wanted to practice using the sketchbook app on #my phone. as for how: i actually traced the original sprite #then colored in the hair by hand. in the middle of that though the quality suddenly got annihilated and i hadn't saved in a while #so i just decided screw it. i finished the pink highlights by hand then used the color picker/paint bucket tools to fill in the rest of the #coloring (which i was originally planning to do also by hand). then i opened a new sketch & drew the symbol on his shirt and layered that #on top (idk why but i thought that would be easier than trying to trace it and i...think i was right? either way i like how it turned out!)#then i just cleaned it up a bit- retraced some of the lines and such. and *then* right before i went to finally post it i realized i forgot #the red squares on the right side of his jacket. so i just spent the last hour or so adding those #i was also gonna add a bit of shading too but i'm fucking burnt out at this point so screw that lmao #honestly it doesn't really matter i'm very VERY happy with how this turned out :)#nagito komaeda #danganronpa #sdr2 #🖌 tag #🍄 tag #send tweet

Done with the worst parts of sanding :)

#if the remaining bits look uneven. its on purpose. i havent sanded the right yet. i want to kind of sit with him for a bit before shaping #the smaller bits further :)#the color difference is also pretty bad 😥 i didn't realize how yellowed the body was until i got to work so... i will have to do SOMETHING #to cover that. or just embrace it idk :) the character is a robot thats used 2 be high tech and is now sort of falling apart so im not super #bothered ig with like... any of the resin color differences bc i can just say its faded from use/storage or whatever do #*so. its all ok :) the only other time ive done something like this is my little top surgery on another doll (he was brand new so had no #yellowing rly) so im like... not super bothered i think :) pretty happy w it being my second big dremel project lol. definitely have a lot #of plans w him so im happy to be feeling well enough to work on him today :)#bjd posting #twist rambles #idr what his name even is... makes me sound like a bad doll owner but when i do remember ill toss these posts in his tag :)

made some changes to mattodore's sims so now i've been flipping back and forth between screenshots of their newer vs. older versions for the last ten minutes trying to decide if i wanna keep the changes or not. agony. pain. grief AND wailing. slings and arrows.

#river dipping #have i slept at all? no #i originally opened the sims just to test out the changes i made to my cas bg w/ the help of vyx <333 #um but well. then i was spinning theo around in cas and i realized how crazy it is how little skin details he and matthias have #so i finally started going through all the categories and added things here and there... i added some shading to theo's face #and then i was like wow that looks great let me do the same to matthias but... looking at him now i'm thinking not djkfghkf #he's too pale for that i think it makes him look... idk off. so i'll probably be completely reverting matthias's sim back #but theo.......... he looks SOOOO much better now #i FINALLY went in and gave him an overlay for his body which i hadn't done... for whatever reason?#honestly matthias needs a new one as well but i think i'll have to make him a custom blend for him so his face isn't layered over. ugh.#i also need to make his skintone ww compatible so i might do those both at the same time... 😑#then again i say this but ykw i still haven't done? fix the color of his eyebrows despite saying i was gonna do that days ago.#i'm a liar. i lie.#………………… <- posts i was in the middle of writing nearly seven hours ago and fell asleep on before posting #and now i’ve woken up with futile devices by sufjan stuck in my head so yeah. today’s gonna be a crazy one probably #good morning i guess djfhfgsgdf

#rat rambles #oc posting #band posting #momoko especially drawing her earlier made me remember just how much I adore her #but Im also thinking oh so hard abt kou I need to rework their design for the 50th time at some point #momoko has such a perfect design tho she's like high key one of my favorite designs Ive ever made #I just think her shapes and colors are neat #I should totally make them all furry designs even if I dont rly have any ideas for them #I do generally make momoko a frog in au stuff tho so she can be a frog ig #yuriko is technically sorta a bat in the random card au but thats mostly just a nodd at rokka backstory #the other two do not as of now have any connections to any animals so I fully have nothing for them #I could see yori being some sort of hog or smth and kou could be a mongoose or smth idk #that also reminds me Ive been meaning to make olivia and jackie furry designs for funsies #I mean I already moddled their designs off of animals so it wouldnt be hard #Ive just been struggling to draw thats all #hopefully Ill keep building momentum into getting back into drawing more #although today was kind of rough I am starting to get off my ass a lil #mostly cause I finally found smth that I want to do in the future even if its just seeing my friends #I wanna meet them in person and the fact that thats smth I have to look forward to is making me feel much better #even if it wont happen soon just the fact that Ive added that to the 'thing I will do someday' list helps a lot with my mood #cause its just smth of a future I can get into my head yknow?#smth I can think of thats not just today and tomorrow
