Ellias (Mission Impossible self insert) really is Just Some Guy, like, underneath all of his technical skill and intelligence he really is just a dude. dresses in a t shirt and jeans (when not in the field). Makes sex jokes routinely. You know.

And I think that’s part of what makes him so appealing to Benji. Like, I think early on Benji was pretty intimidated by Ellias (still working on their early relationship + meeting) for several reasons but as they got to know each other they both found out that they had more in common than either of them had realized.
