Robot friendships might be my favourite thing in fiction ever. There's something so pure and special about robots who are friends.

Like hell yeah, we're programmed machines that were put into this world for only one specific reason, to serve humans, we're not supposed to form relationships of any kind, but you know what? You're my friend. I don't exactly understand what that term means, but I'm grateful you were built at the same time as me and we met, I hope your battery recharges fully and your parts continue to function smoothly without any issue.

having low empathy and being a friend who is known for giving emotional support is a funny combo ill tell you that. while its a little uncomfortable and definitely is an effort, dont let anyone try to hide behind having low empathy to not give you compassion because its neither an excuse nor a valid reason not to. its nowhere near as awkward or an effort big enough to be worth the relief ive provided my friends, their love and trust in me and us getting closer. so anyone who values those things about their relationship with you would try, and learn a way to be there for you.
