I like rewatching black sitcoms from the upn days but I hate when the audience starts cheering for a black celebrity cameo that I don't know about bc a lot of them were from older black sitcoms where the actors either died or stopped getting work after that

I know confessions are over but It's crazy how good is Tom in interviews. Keep watching these actors doing interviews a none of them are at his level. Understandable why Tom's interviews get millions of views. Tom could have a future as a TV host, if he wanted to.
I still remember the rumors he could be hosting the Oscars, and most of the people thought he could do a great job. SNL is another thing I hope he does one day, maybe after his run on the West End, he feels comfortable enough to do it.
Hey Anon! 👋🏾😃
I don't think your ask needed a "Confession Sunday" tag (imo) lol, but anyway lol....
No I agree with you, Tom is great at interviews! 😃 I think we should all just go ahead and crown Tom the "King of Rizz" and get it over with by now lol. 😅
Keep watching these actors doing interviews a none of them are at his level.
Lol Idk which actors you've been watching interviews of, or who you're comparing Tom to, but I think it's good to keep in mind that Tom is an outlier.... He's not the standard. I think a lot of fans keep trying to compare other actors out there to Tom in interviews, but you have to keep in mind that MOST actors are NOT going to be "Tom Holland" in interviews. I don't even think I would want EVERY single actor to be Tom Holland in interviews tbh lol.😅 You need diversity.
There are actually very few actors who have that type of level of charisma in interviews. Interviews are actually quite daunting for most actors because a lot of them are shy or used to playing a different character onscreen, but not really opening up in an interview and being vulnerable. Even the greats like Leo, River Phoenix, Keanu Reeves, Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, etc... A lot of them are actually quite reserved or don't even like to do interviews lol. Many great legends of actors out here were awful interviewers, but GREAT actors onscreen. 😃
Then, you have some actors who are both... The ones who seem really charismatic (aside from Tom) are Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Jennifer Lawrence, Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, etc.... Some of the GOATS that I mentioned are just a big ball of charisma. But not all of them are like that. Nothing wrong with that! 🤷🏾‍♀️ I just think it's good to recognize that they are an outlier, but not the standard.
I still remember the rumors he could be hosting the Oscars, and most of the people thought he could do a great job. SNL is another thing I hope he does one day, maybe after his run on the West End, he feels comfortable enough to do it.
Ooof.... At this point, I don't think I'd want Tom to host either. 😔 I never was a fan of anyone young hosting the Oscars (I think the James Franco and Anne Hathaway hosting fiasco is still etched in my brain somewhere 😩). Plus, I can't imagine all of the backlash he would get. 😩
But at the same time, lately, it seems like everyone HATES SNL (especially after Timmy's episode 👀), so while I would have wanted Tom for that show in the past, I'm guessing now wouldn't be a good time for him to host a show like that. 😔
But Tom definitely has the charisma for live TV and comedy. I guess having a comedic father helped a lot lol. 😅
Let's find him something else that he can host that isn't the Oscars or SNL lol.

All fics are my own work unless stated otherwise but, of course, the majority of the characters are our very own Saviour's ocs - LUMOSINLOVE.
I have a long 100k+ smut fic with the Cubs and Reg's relationship on my AO3 (same user) so if you like the snippets of my writing, there's more there.
Thank for you reading <3

1) POV: Reg gives Leo a lapdance
2) POV: Lo and Reg don't realise Leo and Finn are on facetime to O'Darwin and they see more than they bargained for
3) POV: Reg teases Finn about his kissing; Finn takes that as a challenge
4) POV: "Baby, can I have my hoodie back?" "Can I have my virginity back?" "Technically, that was Peanut."
5) POV: the Cubs and Reg are stuck in what's known as 'the talking stage' - that promptly comes to an end when their eyes get drawn to a black piercing on Reg's tongue
6) POV: The Cubs are going to be Reg's first... well, everything and Leo does his best to calm his worries.
PT. 1
PT. 2
7) POV: After only recently putting a label on it, what do the Cubs do when Reg shows up at their door in the middle of the night soaking wet?

I've never really been a Spider-man girly...
I loved reading Marvel comics and watching the TV shows and movies but Spidey just didn't appeal?? Much more a Thor and Ironman bitch to tell ya the truth
But like- I loved Toby, growing up his movie was one of the first superhero films I'd seen, and he still gets points now for nostalgia. I was eventually on board with Andrew once I actually watched the movies however was pretty against it in the beginning cause I loved Toby's sm [William Defoe + Alfred Molina>>> carried.] and truth be told I only watched when Jamie Foxx entered the chat. I warmed up to Tom?? [Not really] But still not much a fan of the character, I liked No Way Home and his appearance in CW + IW that's about it. So, no, I haven't seen Into the Spider-verse even though everyone I talk to who has seen it thinks it's amazing and I lowkey wanted to but just didn't cause it felt so pushed [I hate being told to try things specifically if it's currently trending]
And yet...because I'm a useless fucking pathetic Big Boy SIMP I have currently found myself tryna talk me into watching the movies thanks to a certain variant I'm sure we call all guess who-thefuck-why.
When the movie was first announced I saw exactly ONE clip of him. It mentioned he had fangs- I've been a fucking goner since.
Anyway, this has been a pointless post about my reluctant Spider-man crush and a free pass to any sudden spam posting about Said Character that will may appear on my page, thanks for reading ♡

while I'm here I'm going to go ahead and mention that the reason Netflix never seems to turn a profit is that they have to pay a fuck ton ahead of time in order to get stuff made.
Regular studios manage to pay less upfront because they can tell their talent "if the movie does well in box office you get a percentage of that" and for tv it is "as the show goes into syndication and runs forever you can get bonuses for good ratings"
It doesn't matter that much if after huge shows like Friends, The Fresh Prince, and Modern Family, those actors don't have the most profitable careers ever; they will get paid forever thanks to syndication. The media will judge them as "wow that career went nowhere" anyway in spite of them making big bucks forever thanks to the popularity of the show.
Netflix doesn't do this because they don't run on syndication, they HAVE no choice but to pay upfront a fuck ton of money. I wouldn't be shocked at all if a big part of why Stranger Things season 4 is, reportedly, costing 30 Million per episode is that the actors are now too famous and demanding bigger pays for what is a good chunk of their lives filming for Netflix. They get no backend deals so demanding the money upfront is an actually smart tactic.
This sadly means that Netflix has no choice but to spend a fuck ton of money for shows that, at times, get no viewership at all. I can assure you that Jamie Foxx's sitcom made him a crap ton of money, but no one watched it at all because the trailer looked cringe (no good reviews came after so I guess the initial trailer was accurate).
"What about new stars?" they get a very small salary in the first season because of the whole "you are not famous yet so no point in giving you more money" and then when the show is successful they can ask for more later. Netflix then cancels the show in about 3 to 4 seasons (if we are lucky) so that the new star they made doesn't ask for mroe money later. Also yes, popularity is what defines how much money you make in a show, which is why the conversation about equal pay went away after a while. Complaining that Claire Foy made less money in the Crown than Matt Smith is a conversation that went nowhere cause Matt Smith was already famous before the Crown and she wasn't.
Netflix will never turn a profit that way because it can only do so by lowering costs. Lowering costs means that big starts won't do it as they only get one paycheck. If they spend the budget on the star then writing, sets, and special effects suffer. This is on top of Netflix being famous having understaffed sets.
This isn't a Netflix only problem btw I'm pretty sure that the CW is also often understaffed because they never turn a profit either as all the money goes into the actors that get famous off of the projects; but in this one they do get to make money on re-runs so they at least make more in the long run.
There's a reason only big studios from the beginings of Hollywood like WB, Disney, and Universal tend to sit at the big boys table; they have been around long enough that they are sitting on enough money to make this a non-issue. I would add MGM but they have very few movies nowadays, and I did not add Sony because like its follower, Apple, they are technological companies first, and they pretty much just promote their products on their movies. Spider-Man movies may be great but it is ooc af for Peter to have a Sony phone.

Good Times 2024
I saw the teaser for the Good Times revival following the grandson of James Evans and saw the many quotes to which I agree since it's about a hardworking family of five living in the ghetto of Chicago and they...
[Spoilers Below]
…managed to leave the ghetto after various events that changed their life. This is coming from someone who watched this on DVD during the early 2010s and I mean watched through all of it.
My genuine question is that why is family in the Chicago projects after the Evans made their breakthrough and who was this made for specifically? Was it the fans who watched the original? I'm just skeptical since this could potentially bring down some wariness if the creators decide to delve in on how Black culture turned into the way it is as of now but I may be wrong.
As a side note, I starting to believe that Black Americans are restricted to realism and such while everyone else gets to do much more.
Recommended Stuff if the Revival Turns Out like Shit: Moesha, Martin, Sister Sister, One on One, Static Shock, girlfriends, The Parkers, Good Times, My Wife & Kids, Good Burger, The Curse of Bridge Hollow, The Jamie Foxx Show, The Game, Kenan & Kel, The Wayne Bros, The Bernie Mac Show, Everybody Hates Chris, Twitches, Moon Girl, Different Strokes, The Jeffersons, etc.

Informal Opinion Piece on Michael Mann's 'Collateral' ( 2004) Opening Sequence.
Fair warning, if you plan to watch this film, this includes spoilers, half spoilers, and everything similar. I'm just turning information from a pro forma into a half assed opinion piece that includes a little bit of analysis.
'Collateral' (Mann, 2004) is quite the film. Personally, I'm hurt that Jason Statham only starred to be in an airport, drop a bag, then never be seen again. That, and Tom Cruise being in the film, but those are just personal grievances.
'Collateral' is a neo noir, and as Mann put it, a drama with realistic action. It conveys the underbelly of the city, and the hidden crime in the shadows in this incredible fashion through the 'everyman', a taxi cab driver, by the name of Max, played by Jamie Foxx, but I'm getting ahead of myself with introducing Foxx's character.
I think the opening is interesting, when the audience is introduced to Tom Cruise's character, Vincent it's slowed down, compared to Airport Man, Jason Statham. It's as if Vincent is isolated, which isn't inaccurate. Guy was a lonely bastard, and an annoying one at that.
I really liked Max's introduction though, It opened with him going to work, the job of a Taxi driver. There's loud diegetic sound, it just shows how noisy daytime LA is, but as Max closes the cab door to start his shift, it all comes to a hush. It also hints at his characteristics. He cleans the car, making it pristine for the day. He takes pride in his job, he prides his work. Also the shots of Max's day were just visually interesting, this, and the funny scene between the two workers, were one is having an affair. Back to the lovely imaging though. It shows LA through the day, but also Max's work life. He knows the city, every part of it. The montage is just a lovely way to skip through the day fo the 'everyman'. It also allows for it to be nighttime, and in this film, a major factor in the action, for everything happens at night.
The introduction to the love interest, also known as Annie, played by Jada Pinkett-Smith. A factor of Noir Films, and in turn Neo Noir, is a love interest. In the case of Annie, she's the 'Dangerous Woman' trope, but this doesn't tie in until much, much later in the film. She's introduced just as another person for Max to pick up. Pinkett-Smith plays her character in a great fashion, with her being like every other person in Max's car. She's on the phone, disconnected from him, shown through the disconnection between the medium shots between Max and Annie. This changes when Max creates a bet with Annie, the shots change to Over-The-Shoulder (OTS) shots, resembling a connection between the two.
An interesting end to the sequence of Annie and Max is the location in which she gets out and the postcard. The shorter part to talk about is the location, which from memory, it isn't completely clear in this scene, but it's the Attorney's Office, also known as where the prosecutors work, also known as Annie's work. She is a key character because she's the love interest, but also linked to Vincent. The second part to the opening of this paragraph is the postcard Max gifted to Annie. It's an image of the Maldives, and to Max, it's his getaway as he drives. Earlier in the montage, the audience sees him look at his personal holiday as a couple argues in the back of his cab. It's symbolic to him, because it gets him through his day. He gives it to Annie, after asking her when she goes on a break, a holiday. He'd told her to look at it whenever she needed to clear her mind, take a break. This links them, as well as Annie's business card, which ends up saving her at the end of the film.
Another great shot is the 'dirty' single, medium shot on the escalator leaving and entering the Attorney's Office. It would be a normal single shot, but behind Vincent, on the entering escalator is Annie, which it does cut to a closer shot of her moments after the connecting shot. It is a connecting shot because the two characters are, in fact, connected. Though, that is explained later in the film, but Mann's use of them crossing paths is quite funny. It's similar to another shot of Max, Vincent and Det. Fanning being in the same elevator.
Now, the first cause that leads to the rest of the narrative, Max meeting Vincent. Another beautiful element here is that it's the beginning of the Hero's Journey for Max. Letting Vincent in his cab is what causes the chain of events to unravel. Max actually wasn't going to drive Vincent, he was going to go back to the garage, finishing his shift, but because Max needs to fulfil his destiny and become the protagonist, he takes Vincent onboard.
Another great part is the confinement of the setting, everything is inside of a cab, a small car. Which allows Max to fulfil his role as just any other guy, but also allows for Vincent to blend into the night. Who would assume some cab driver and his passenger is wreaking havoc across LA without a person knowing?

Here’s my opinion on the movie and this will have spoilers so please tag it with a warning!
1. It was a great movie and I loved it, probably the most re-watchable marvel movie along with homecoming. The nostalgia value, the fan service was done for a purpose and it was great!
2. May’s death scene left me speechless and I was holding my breath. Tom’s acting in that scene is just brilliant! But the saddest scene for me was when happy didn’t recognise him at May’s grave. That really hurt me.
3. Andrew really brought the best, him saving MJ, cracking Tobey’s back, saying “I love you guys” like he was just really the most wholesome Spiderman of the three!
4. THE VILLAINS?? Jamie foxx and willem dafoe? And Alfred Molina? They were so so good returning to roles they did years ago! Willem in the scene telling Peter that he is the one who killed may, so menacing, so so good.
5. Tom? The action, the emotion, the love, he can express everything with his eyes and and face! I’m glad he didn’t have to wear his mask all the time since his identity was already leaked so we got to see him fight without a mask too. I was really blown away by him. This is what a good script can bring out in an actor too!
6. Mj and Ned were definitely given a more important role in the movie. Ned going magic and his lola was great. Zendaya brings zero emotion to mj, like miss Ma’am your boyfriend has twins from another universe be a little shocked? Also why are they revealing that her last name is actually Jones-Watson in this movie?
7. Lastly I wish dr strange had a bigger role than just doing a spell because Tom and Benedict had a great chemistry and their back and forth was really fun to watch.
Also I think they had to edit out a lot of stuff so I think there will be an extended cut and I can’t wait for that!
*SPOILERS FOR SPIDERMAN*
Omg I cried with May's death that whole scene was so heartbreaking his acting was perfect on that and the scene where Happy shows up and sees her dead also kills me, and the fact that he didn't remember Peter breaks my heart too, bc I was genuinely hoping somehow he would, and Andrew was amazing I'm gonna be honest I never paid much attention to his Spiderman but in this movie it made me want to re-watch all of his Spiderman movies, him saying I love you to them 😭, and then that conversation about being amazing, it was perfect, and the villains were just wow, it felt very nostalgic but it didn't feel like they were bringing them back and ruining them in the process with this movie they did such a good job, and also can we just talk about how in the end Ned just walked past Peter and didn't recognize him (obviously) that broke me again

Spider-Man No Way Home FAMILIAR FACES
I didn't think this would be one of my favorite Marvel movies, but it is now. I'm weak for nostalgic shit, especially when producers and creators pay tribute to the past actors and characters that many of their viewers grew up watching and loving. I mean sure nostalgia is business but it's not like we're gonna stop being nostalgic for past things that made us happy; neither are we gonna stop watching shows and movies that cash in on this nostalgia especially if they're done well.
So, here's a collection of screenshots of familiar faces from past movies that made an appearance in this one. Basically an appreciation for the nostalgia fest this flick was.
Tumblr media
Dr. Otto Octavius - Alfred Molina's very memorable character who died a hero in the first Spider-Man trilogy
Tumblr media
Jamie Foxx's Electro was a little underused because he and Rhys Ifans' The Lizard were the only villains from The Amazing Spider-Man duology, and him backing down from the final fight was too quick, but he did deliver this little Easter Egg for fans.
Tumblr media
Flint Marko (Thomas Haden Church) whose redemption story wasn't as explored as other characters' in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy but is nonetheless a memorable character whose actions set off Peter Parker's path to crime-fighting....
Tumblr media
This Spider-Man movie wouldn't have been complete without the OG Willem Defoe as Norman Osborne aka the Green Goblin.
Tumblr media
Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker proves that he is the goofiest and dorkiest Peter in a fun and self-aware way.
Tumblr media
Tobey Maguire remains the most iconic Spider-Man for many modern viewers because of the way he portrayed Peter Parker: down-to-earth, relatable, and selfless. In this movie, we see him as a mature hero who has already gone through so much and has managed to retain his sense of right and wrong.
(...and I did not include a screenshot of The Lizard because I forgot to take a screenshot of him and also because his part in the movie was very underwhelming, sorry.)

okay, so i watched the entire kingdom ep. and it made enjoy sf9's performance more. initial watch i didn't know they were referencing tbz's danger where they stole the crown and that sf9 was stealing it from them in this cover. i was confused like ateez when they kept asking wait what is happening and like oh is that what this means? i think there were a lot of moving parts and although they were more cohesive compared to the other groups, it did fall a bit flat for me at the end (like you mentioned). supposedly they referenced new world (kmovie) - i never watched it but luckily the overall concept and storyline of their stage was easy to understand. i liked the different outfits each member wore!! i think that was my favorite thing about their performance, despite it being all different it was still cohesive and highlighted each member. i'm still :( about their use of guns in the choreo. i felt like during some parts, the members did not know what to do with them and it just felt awkward. it was okay during their group dance but still, i felt like they could have used it more.
ahh thank you for coming back!!! i love hearing what other people think of the stages since i have such a specific viewpoint and i overlook things all the time!
i also watched the full episode yesterday and somehow, mnet actually did a pretty good job of showing the level of effort and detail that sf9 put into their stage! actually calling up and getting lessons from not just an actor but a musical theatre actor was like, possibly the best decision they could have made, because he basically told them everything i’ve been yelling about to my lil audience of 5 here. acting lessons > drowning. this stage is massive improvement for them, especially since it's only the second(!) time they've worked on something of this scale (the first was last round’s stage). and they've still got room to grow, which is perfect. the fact that they're taking this silly pop song competition as a serious opportunity to improve their skills is really admirable and shows they have a real respect for the work that goes into the industry of entertainment. but i also hope that they don’t take the whole rankings nonsense to heart because its rigged as fuck and not worth the stress. i also hope we get to see them expand into that confidence they exude a little more and do a stage more lighthearted, where they get to visibly have fun, because ikon really does have the right idea in that you truly can't take this trash fire of a program that seriously.
i think there’s an important difference to note here in how sf9 approached applying theme to their stage versus how tbz is applying theme. sf9 applied genre first, and then lightly referenced specific films on top of that basic foundation, whereas with tbz they start with a name brand and have to build down from there. i vaguely hit on kind of this point in my review but if you have a strong genre foundation it’s easier for the audience to suspend their disbelief, because they can draw on what they understand the tropes to be from their own references, and then if you did want to add some easter eggs in over the top, they aren't necessary for viewer understanding but for those who recognize them it’s a fun lil dopamine hit. if you start from a specific reference, you then either lose your audience right away because they don't know what’s happening, or you’re constantly fighting against the audience’s ability to draw a direct comparison between the two. now you can purposefully use an audiences’ perception of particular reference or genre to subvert their expectations, like in the 2018 robin hood movie with jamie foxx and taron egerton. is it a good movie? absolutely not, it's garbage, but it does have some spectacular takes on medieval fantasy costuming that are fascinating and it successfully manages to look nothing like every other robin hood movie ever made. is it mostly over the top and very “makes you think” meme? yes, but the impulse is in the right place and also this is the first example i thought of because i was thinking about quilted flak jackets yesterday, so sue me. and yes if you are wondering i do purposefully watch bad movies for fun.
as far as the gun choreo, i totally agree with you. i mentioned this when talking about minhyuk’s sword choreo but the physical and figurative weight of a weapon are integral to how it operates in space. some of the gun choreo looks awkward because a) the guns themselves are being used a bit carelessly to how we (as predominantly western viewers) are accustomed to seeing them, and b) they’re obviously fakes and not heavy enough, so the members’ movements aren’t in sync with what we expect their movements to be because our brains understand what it means to move with weight. it's like how you can tell someone is pretending to drink out of an empty paper cup, because their movements reflect that the cup is too light. acting the weight of something is a very difficult skill and there’s a reason mime schools exist, so i wasn’t expecting that level from sf9 at all and i thought they did well regardless of the visual tip off. in comparison, let's use the gun choreo in the ateez stage, because i’m still not over it and i want an excuse to watch it a few more times. why did we not find what seonghwa did awkward or out of place, especially when they used a shotgun sound effect for a rifle and we all know you can't load a bolt action rifle by spinning it around? because the gun itself is a proper weighted replica. also the orange tip, which is required on replica stage weapons. but look at the difference in speed in how the dancers move with their rifles versus how seonghwa moves with his. look at the visible thud that it makes when it hits his shoulder. it really is the smallest details that can make or break the experience. also something something camp has a wider threshold of suspension of disbelief. also the gun choreo had a specific intention within the narrative yadda yadda. sf9 was missing some of that specific intention in a few places, so there could have been some changes to give the guns more weight (literally and figuratively).
also yes sf9 has a killer styling team so far and i’m curious to see what they bring out next!!

I'm gonna be the bad guy who says that Timmy is not as charming as Tom. I'm someone that enjoys watching celeb interviews on prime time talk shows and that boy has had one too many rough/awkward interviews for me to say I caught him on a bad night. and I guarantee you charm is one of the most attractive things about Tom so 2 plus 2 is four? Yes.
Well, to be FAIR Anon....There are very few young actors these days that I would say have the same charm level as Tom Holland lol. 😅 Timmy is awkward in interviews, but hey... I don't mind it, since not everyone can be as charismatic as Tom. Some people just have charm in spades, and others just, don't. So, I won't fault anyone for that. Just as long as you're not utterly BORING, rude, or annoying in interviews, I can pretty much handle you lol. But yea, very few people are on the level of Tom as far as charm, comedy, and charisma to the point where I just watch their interviews fixated with a plastered smile on my face the entire time lol. 😅🤣
Only a few people give me that feeling while watching them in interviews... 😊
Tom Holland
Michael B. Jordan
Chris Evans
John Boyega
Former President Obama
Jamie Foxx
Tom Cruise
Just to name a few... They all have charisma in spades and give funny/great interviews imo.
I would mention Will Smith as well on this list, but I think it's too soon lol... 👀🙈

Hfncjf OK SO, because I'm currently kinda going 😳😳 for yet another Jim Carrey character, I was reminded of a show that I grew up watching with my dad that I absolutely LOVED and wanted to make more ppl aware of because I have no idea how popular this show is, but I'm about to go on a ramble so BEAR WITH ME
The show is called In Living Color and was a comedy skit show kinda like SNL that aired in 1990, and something really cool about the show is that it was the start of a few actors' careers, like Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Lopez, and of course, Jim Carrey. What I always liked about the show is that it had an almost-all black cast and they weren't afraid to get risky with their humor. It was a super good show and honestly I reccomend it! (Just dont watch past the third season)
Anyway thank you for suffering through my ramble about this show I rly love, here's this one skit I saw when I was 10 that made me laugh so hard I cried and couldnt stop for like two minutes

As lockdown period is going on & nowhere to go out so i thought of why not make a list of my personally top 10 favourite movies which can be watched during this period...
My list is a endless but selecting these particular movie was one hell of a task. I've been a Chinephile since i was 13 so selecting these movies was ardous task for me. Before making this list i ponder hard about which movie to select & which not so without any forther a do here goes my list
1. Shutter Island
When credit list goes on as Martin Scorsese, Leonardo Dicaprio, Mark Ruffalo you can't expect anything less then perfection. Doesn't matter how may time you have watch this movie you'll find yourself on edge..
2. Inception
Christopher Nolan direction will keep you lost in time throughout this movie. Portrayal of each character is absolutely spectacular. The way Mr. Nolan explained craft of each & every character is comendable. Probably one of the best movies of last decade
3. Rocky (Complete Saga)
Well what to say about this movie which haven't been said yet, will only add more. If you're going through time then this whole Rocky saga is something which you need. This particular saga is personally my favorite. Whenever i'm going through time this particular saga is my medicine. Potrayal of Rocky Balboa by Sylvester Stallone made me fall in love with movie. This movie is must watch if you're surrounded by cloud of negativity..
4.Nightcrawler
Nightcrawler directed by Dan Gilroy is probably one of the most intense movie. I found this movie profoundly disturbing but still kept me engaging throughout Louis Bloom potrayed by Jack Gyllenhaal , a petty thief, realises that he can make money by capturing photographs of criminal activities and starts resorting to extreme tactics to get them. This particular movie made me fall in love with Jack Gyllenhaal & after watching this movie i end up watching all Jack movie & one thing which i found staggering is that he haven't won Oscar yet..
5. The Pursuit of Happyness
This movie will make you laugh, will make make you emotional inshort it's a complete roller coster ride of emotions but at the end you'll have ecstatic smile on your face. Chris Gadner potrayed by Will Smith take up a unpaid internship. His wife leaves him & he's left with his son custody. "You got a dream... You gootta protect it. People can't do something for themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something go get it". This particular line changed my perspective towards life
6.Phir Hera Pheri
People might be  astonished after seeing this particular movie on my list. Phir Hera Phera is sequel to 2000 film Hera Pheri. Direct by Neeraj Vora starring Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal is one of the best comedy movie ever made in bollywood.
7.Whiplash
Whiplash came out in 2014 and it was lowest budgetmovie to get nominated in Oscar for bedt picture best picture.Starring JK Simmons(who also has academy award for best supporting actor). This particular movie made me realise if you got a dream make it your passion.
8 Django Unchained
When it comes to directing violent movie then their is no one better the Quintin Tarantino. He is personaly my favourite movie director. This Wester drama staring Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz( who also got academy ward for best supporting actor), Leonardo Dicaprio. This particular movie gives bizarre looks towards how black people & how they were treated back in 1800's.
9.Blue Valentine
Blue Valentine staring Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams( who got Oscar nomination fot best actress) gives you different look towards crumbling marriage. This movie is all about journey of love not about who is right or wrong.
10. Eternal Sunsine Of Spotless Mind
Eternal sunsine of spotless mind staring Jim Carrey, Kate Winslet is a 2004 Romamce/Si-fi movie shows how two people begin a realtionship in train journey completely unware about their previous relationship, which were clinically erased.
