unpalatable.

⋯⁂ summary. suffering with disordered eating, you try your best to brush it off as being picky (as many others in your life have done before.) but, your beloved doesn't think it's mere pickiness anymore.

⋯⁂ a/n. short and sweet post here; so im not really worried about small grammar errors, word count, formatting, or what have you. i just need to get this icky feeling off my mind, ok? for the record as well: i'm writing all of this on tumblr post editor and not in gdocs like i normally do. so there's gonna be things lacking compared to my normal, "formal" works.

⋯⁂ cw. reader has disordered eating (this is different from eating disorders, pls read further about it online if you want/must!) reader has poor self-esteem. characters being very very sweet. fluff. might be some hurt/comfort and panic. reader's weight is NOT described. there might be occasional OOC moments, but i tried my best to avoid it lol.

neuvillette.

he doesn't think anything of it at first. he understands the life of being..."picky" as some so rudely put it. he prefers his foods very moisturized, any dryness can be too much for his senses at times (most of the time.) the texture when it comes to something dry or even spicy can be very unpleasant; he swears if he ate sandpaper, that's what it'd taste and feel like.

when he starts noticing the worse..."quirks" about your eating habits, he's not sure how to word his concerns to you. he gets around to it and he can only hope he isn't too horribly late about it. he isn't, but he feels like he's late to saying something anyway.

once you both talk it over, he's already helping out. even if he's not quite sure exactly what he's doing. he's the type to fill your head and heart with sweet reassurances and even sweeter praises for doing your best, his smiles are the sweetest treat of all when he tells you these things, though.

even if he's stiff or awkward about the subject and tackling the problem at the root, he's as supportive as he can be. although, don't mistake this support as letting you get away without eating for long periods of time. he can and will pester you frequently about whether you've properly ate (and hydrated) recently. do your best to not damage his lover, alright?

zhongli.

believe it or not, he entirely gets the feeling of uneasiness and the occasional nausea behind a lot of dishes. fish is his worst enemy, for starters. his species doesn't really require tons of food to live off of, unlike your average human. so, when he first started "indulging" in more human dishes, he soon discovered what a gag reflex was. he won't admit to it, but he really hated it back then.

of course, that was so many centuries ago. he's adjusted fine enough to more dishes these days. and when you tell him about your struggles with eating, you initially write it off as you being childish.

he thinks not.

he doesn't let you get away with calling yourself childish—or any sort of derogatory statement that spits out of your mouth.

his hand slides up to yours, giving it a reassuring squeeze. and a promise that he'll do his absolute best to help you conquer these problems with food and eating. even when you start to branch out and eat a bit more than you usually do, he feels so proud of you.

he gives you a shining smile, a peck to the forehead, and holds your sweet, cute face with his big hands; while also filling your mind with praises and affirmations about how well you're doing so far. he loves you so dearly, don't push him away.

wriothesley.

you try your absolute best to hide it from him, the man who is maybe the least bothered by most foods. at least, the one man from fontaine, that is. he really doesn't care too much about what he's eating, as long as it's edible. call it a habit from being an orphan. of course, he has his preferences, but who doesn't?

so, when he catches you eating less or being a little too selective (he's observant enough, don't test him), he brings it up right away in private—he makes sure it's with only you two in the room. he'll ask if you're feeling sick or anything lately, promising you that sigewinne can help out.

when you skirt around the subject, he pouts just a little. it's enough to get you to break down in front of him. you call yourself some nasty things over being rather selective about food, feeling incompetent and weird compared to him.

and he really can't believe what he's hearing at first.

his icy eyes go wide and he blinks on repeat like a broken record. he's still registering what you just said about yourself—his darling cutie. he smiles bittersweetly and shakes his head, it's the most he can muster at first. he's still in disbelief.

your heart sinks into the depths of your gut at the response, burning alive and leaving behind literal heartburn in your throat. before you can leave the room, he scurries up behind you and wraps his arms around you, imprisoning you in the softest way.

he tells you he'll help out if you want it and allow him to, mentioning that he hates to see you suffer. he gives you a loving but tight squeeze (one that's perhaps a little suffocating.) he promises to you to help you suffer, at least, less than before.

he loves you too much to see you in any type of pain, external or internal.

you're a prisoner of your own mind while also a cruel warden to yourself. and if it's the last thing he'll ever do, he swears he'll change at least that much.

Double Trouble

Writers Note: This was a request from @rjmartin11 Who wanted to know more about Elaine and Jesse, the Presley twins I mentioned in Let Yourself Go,

Warning: mostly fluff

Pairing: OC x Elvis

Plot: With Elvis back from the war and finishing up filming GI Blues, Cecelia starts to notice she's having funny cravings.

California June 1960

"I'm telling you, Midge. Something's wrong with me..." Cecelia said while Midge was helping her get dressed,

"What's wrong, Cil..." Midge asked as Cecelia took a deep breath. Maybe it was stress from filming her own movie, Cecelia sighed. As she looked at her feet, they had been swelling lately and aching like crazy.

"Well, for starters, I've been sick lately... " Cecelia sighed,

"How sick?"

"Like last night, Elvis and I stayed in, and I made this great big dinner and..."

"And then what?"

"Well, it came back up. I just haven't kept anything down lately, and I've been having bad headaches." Cecelia groaned, "I've been real sleepy!" she yawned, "A bit snappy too." she then began to pout, "And did I mention it was a steak dinner... A great one, too..."

"Cece. that sounds like you're pregnant..." Midge laughed as Cecelia blushed. She'd never think she was pregnant. It wasn't a thought that crossed her mind.

"Me pregnant ?"

"It's not unlikely, after all, you and E have been going at it like Lovebugs in Florida."

"And I haven't had a period in a month..." Cecelia thought,

"I'll call a doctor to come and check it-"

"If I'm pregnant, is it too soon in our careers? Can we afford a baby? Wait, we can afford it-"

"Out..." she sighed, "Calm down, Cecelia, for all you know, it could be a stomach bug." she shrugged.

"I can guarantee it's not a stomach bug..." The doctor said, gently pressing on her stomach. Cecelia looked up to know what it was then,

"Then what is it..."

"A baby, Ms. Valmos," the doctor said, "So if I were you, I'd lay off any fatty foods and uh... milkshakes." he smiled, "Unless you crave them..." he shrugged. Cecelia nodded as she tried to figure out how Cecelia would even tell Elvis she was pregnant. Would it be through a song, shouting it out, or maybe asking about kids? Course, they'd talked about kids before he'd gone off to Germany and before their secret wedding, but of course, things could change, and maybe he wouldn't want kids anymore or worse, he wouldn't want her anymore, but those were just thoughts.

"My advice to you is to tell your lover. You don't want to raise this baby alone," he commented as Cecelia gulped,

"Thank you, doc." Midge sighed, watching him leave. He could see it in her eyes. She was worried. And overthinking,

"What if El-"

"Cil... Elvis wouldn't leave you for being with child, especially 'cause it's his." Midge smiled, "If anything, you'll tell him, and he'll say." she cleared her throat, trying her best impression of Elvis, "Well, it seems my mama's gonna be an actual mama, ain't that right honey," Cecelia laughed as she stood up,

"No, he'd say it like this. Mmm, my favorite little mama's gonna be a mama, and a cute one at that," she winked as Midge chuckled,

"Oh god, you even got his smolder down!" Midge had tears in her eyes,

"He is my husband." she laughed,

"Do another thing!" Midge asked as Cecelia tried dancing like him, the two of them falling over in laughter,

"Cece darlin... " Elvis saw the two as she looked up from off the floor,

"Hey, sugarpie!" her smile and laughter were music to his ears,

"I got some news for ya." the two said in unison,

"And that's my que to leave." Midge laughed,

"Later Midge." Cecelia smiled, "So what's the news, dear?" her attention back on Elvis.

"Well... We finish wrapping up soon, which means you and I can finish what we started back in Memphis..." he kissed Cecelia's neck, hearing her breath hitch,

"What would that all include sugar..."

"Whatever you want it to be, I know we've been busy since I returned, and I don't think I've given my wife much attention lately,"

"Oh, I beg to differ..." Cecelia mumbled.

"What was that?"

"I'd just love not to beg you to dinner," she said as Elvis glanced at her.

"Honey, what's going on?"

"Nothing..." Her eyes shifted to the left. He now had his hands on his hips, looking down at her. She forgot how piercing those blue eyes could be sometimes.

"Cece..."

"El..." she said,

"The truth, little darlin..."

"You sure? What if I tell you this truth, and it changes how you see me or love me?"

"What did you do? Pull a prank or something?"

"No, El..." she took a deep breath,

"Baby, you know you can tell me anything-"

"Well... you're gonna be a papa..." she mumbled

"What..."

"You're gonna be a daddy."

Elvis was in shock, and Cecelia was standing there hurt, not knowing his thoughts, until he scooped her in his arms and spun her around,

"Baby, this is the happiest day of my life."

"I thought our wedding was?" she joked,

"Second happiest." he laughed, peppering her face with kisses, "How long have you known?"

"Just today."

"That explains the strawberry and pickle milkshakes."

"What can I say? The kid already eats like you." Cecelia joked as Elvis peppered her face with kisses

February 1961

"Baby, don't worry, I got it." Cecelia smiled as Elvis had a worried look on his face. Cecelia was due any day now, but she wanted her independence too. Trying to reach for her guitar to compose yet another song was even a struggle with her pregnant belly in the way.

"Cece honey... Let me at least help with something." Elvis asked as she glanced at him. Elvis was attentive and connected to her to the point he even started picking up on her cravings.

"El... I..." she tried to reach over her stomach,

"What would you do without me here, mama..." picking up her guitar, as he kissed her forehead,

"Well, daddy-o, probably not much," she laughed, patting the side of her stomach,

"Elaine's kicking again?" he asked,

"No, that would be baby number two."

"T-T-Twins..." Elvis had a bittersweet look on his face,

"Mhmm... hey hey hey, what's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"You stuttered... " she looked at him as she held his hand,

"Baby, I-I-I'm fine."

"You did it again... somethin's eatin at'cha, isn't it," Cecelia asked. Damn her for knowing her husband too well.

"I guess you could say somethin is, but..."

"Elvis Aaron Presley, take a deep breath and look at me," she said as he did so, getting lost in her eyes. They seemed to ground him most when he needed to land from any storm.

"It's just...Well, you know I told you about how my mama lost my twin brother at birth and..."

"You're afraid it could happen to us."

"Yeah." he sighed, "It's stupid. But..."

"Ah, ah, it's not stupid. I get it. I do."

"You do..."

"See, There were supposed to be more Valmos children than just me, but my mother had two miscarriages. Well, she had an abortion a year later after having me." she nodded,

"Cece..."

"No..No.. It's for the better. One of me was enough." she laughed a little,

"I don't want anything to happen to our babies..."

"I don't either, El..." she felt a sharp pain.

"I mean besides. What if we have two precious princesses,"

"El..."

"Or the others, a baby boy, and he's a handsome devil or-"

"ELVIS!" She squeezed his hand hard,

"Cecelia, you're not pullin another prank, are ya..." he then looked at her face,

"Elvis..."

"Oh shit... This, Th-Thi-This is real..."

"You can stay by the door if you'd like, Mr. Presley..." one of the midwives said,

"I think I'll stay by her side."

"The whole time?"Elvis gave the woman a nod as he went in. The babies were closer to arriving, and laying there in the bed with sweat on her face was Cecelia, who still looked like a heaven-sent angel,

"El..." her voice was soft and a bit tired,

"Cece..." he kissed her hand,

"We could put her under Twilight sleep..." The doctor said as Elvis looked at him confused,

"The hell is that..." Cecelia asked as she held his hand,

"Well, we'd sedate you, but you'll have no memory of any of this."

"Does it include a needle..."

"Well, yes..."

"With all respect fuck that..." Cecelia growled, they already poked and pried her enough, and soon after everything was set and ready, the real fun began to start.

"Just Keep pushing, Ms. Valmos!"

"Just push!"

"One more!"

"Come on, you can do it!"

"Push!"

"Oh! It's a healthy baby boy!"

In Cecelia's arms were a healthy baby girl and a boy. Elvis was trying not to still have the face of someone who just witnessed the most disturbingly beautiful thing he'd ever seen, but here he was by his wife's side.

"Elvis, they're precious..." she said. Out of breath and tired, he kissed her forehead.

"Have you seen who gave birth to 'em both..."

"No, I haven't." She joked,

"A pure Angel."

"Have you figured out a name?" one of the nurses asked them both as Cecelia nodded,

"Elaine Marie Love Presley, And Jesse Veron Presley." Cecelia smiled, she could see the tears in his eyes at the names of each as she kissed his hand.

"You two shouldn't cry so much when your mama's sleepin..." Elvis said it had been a week since the twins were born, and Elvis was rocking Jesse and Elaine back to sleep. Elaine was a spitting image of her mother, with her copper skin, and her hazel eyes, but she had streaks of blonde in her hair. Oh how he knew she'd be a firecracker and his best friend, but then there was Jesse, his twin with his light blue eyes and black hair like Gladys.

"You know... I may not be the best daddy to ya... cause well uh... I- I ain't never been a daddy before, but I can promise you, I'll love you both." he kissed their foreheads, "But your mama... Well, she's gonna spoil you both to death I just know it." he laughed,

"Is that so, Mr. Presley..." Cecelia asked as he turned to face her. The night sky always did reflect so beautifully on her,

"It is, you know why?"

"Why?"

"Cause all mothers do." he smiled, watching as she gave him a kiss on the cheek, taking Jesse from out his arms and rocking him slowly as she hummed love me tender, they both couldn't wait for what the future would bring.

What do you think of the HH/HB google leaks? Any thoughts on them?

Sorry that it took me a while to reply to this. Had to sort out my thoughts.

Someone kinda asked me the same thing about HB leaks. About what I thought about it or if I've seen it? I've written a few paragraphs containing that question. I'm not gonna spoil whatever I saw in those leaks to the people who are reading this, but the gist of it is that I'm fully convinced that Helluva Boss will possibly NEVER improve. The writers (and you know who I'm talking about) don't seem to care at all about us critiques or what we have to say about this show. They don't bother to look over anything that might need improvement and they probably seem to think they've made the greatest masterpiece of all time. Apparently, the fans seem to think so too, and that's why there will probably be no improvement.

HB might as well be a routine of what happens in these episodes.

A**holes like Blitzo, Stolas, or Loona act inappropriately, how they're acting seems to affect those around them, someone calls them out and they start to realize the error of their ways and the episode makes it seem like they're going to change for the better only for them to not learn a damn thing and go back to being a**holes to everyone the next episode.

Everyone makes fun of Moxxie, Moxxie starts to feel insecure or inferior, suddenly he has one of those moments where gets a change of heart and starts to toughen up, the episode makes it seem like he's going to start being brave from now on only for the next episode to repeat the same plot point and we go back to Moxxie learning how to stand up for himself.

Octavia is a depressed teenager who is bothered by her father and the things that he's done that affected her. Whether or not she runs away, she's pissed off at him for the rest of the episode. By the end of the episode, someone gives her a pep talk and makes excuses for Stolas's actions and she starts to get a change of heart and forgive her father, the show ONCE AGAIN using Octavia as a plot point to make us pity Stolas and make it seem like he's a misunderstood, innocent, uwu sweetheart who doesn't mean any harm and only wants love.

Millie is just Millie....

And that pretty much explains the leaks that I've seen. So yeah... no kind of improvement whatsoever. (Though, the Octavia thing is a bit different).

As for Hazbin Hotel, I'll just speak about the ones that caught my attention the most....

I've been looking forward to this upcoming show for a while. My hype for it doesn't click as much as it used to, but I still would feel excited a little bit every time I see an update or something. Can't say I consider it to be the greatest show ever, cuz it has a lot of flaws that I've noticed too, but I do consider it to be more entertaining and interesting than Helluva Boss.

I'm fully convinced the HH might just falter as a show altogether somehow like HB, but all I could do is just hope for the best of this soon-to-be tv series.

As for what I think of the leaks? Well, for starters.....

Like I said, I'm not gonna give any details about the leaks. However, the first one I saw was Adam's script and sheet and honestly, his character is just as illogical as his character design!

From what I've read, I think he might just come off as this silly, goofball villain that everyone will love. Which is fine! There are plenty of antagonists who are goofy in tv shows. Like Dr. Doofenshmirks (Phineas and Ferb), Bill Cypher (Gravity Falls), Plankton (Spongebob), Izma (Emporers New Groove), Discord (My Little Pony), Even the freakin Joker!! Etc.

But with Adam, it's just... I dunno. Some things just don't seem to fit with his character. So for one... dude is an angel, but he doesn't seem to... act like one? We're supposed to see angels as good characters. We would expect to see them as the kind of people who would do NO wrong and are polite, well-behaved, and overall just good people unlike all the sinners in hell who are not very good people and don't care at all about wanting to be redeemed. And reading Adam's character as well as the script... I don't see any of that. Viv deliberately made him out to be this immature and carefree jackass who likes to rule over people. He's also pretty sexist. If anything, he just comes off to be another one of Hell's demons, looks and characteristics alone. And this is super ironic cuz he's supposed to be head of all the angel military and protector of heaven. You'd think that in that case, Viv would leave out the childish character in him. Plus, I have a pretty good feeling that the only reason he kills and exorcises demons in hell is because he just likes to do it. Like- it's not because it's his job or he feels he's supposed to or anything. He just does it because.... it's fun.

Oh and also, this one likes to cuss up a storm too......

Yeah... that doesn't exactly seem very "Angel" fitting. Honestly, I think Adam needs a whole new character upgrade. For someone who's supposed to be an angel made from heaven, he doesn't seem like one, let alone look like one. Not to mention it just makes Charlie's goal absolutely pointless. Like, she wants to redeem sinners, and yet we have an angel created in heaven who is an a**hole and says offensive things about women. What's the point in turning sinners into good people if they're probably gonna act the same way in heaven?

Of course, not to say that the angels can't at least act like villains. What I'm saying is, they shouldn't be considered evil since we're supposed to see them as good people. But they can just seem like antagonists since our protagonists are demons and we're supposed to side with them in a way. The angels attempting to kill them would just be bad for us viewers since that's NOT what we want. We don't want them to kill our protagonists, but since they're just doing their job as angels, we can't consider them evil or villains. Cuz in the end, they're just doing what they're instructed by heaven to do, and not because they wanna do it if that makes sense.

One of the main things that caught me off guard with Angel's design was his extra pair of arms.

Okay, so you see how his whole skin (or fur, I guess) color is white? Or white with a very faint tint of pink? Looking at his second pair of arms, I thought that it was his bare skin and that it was short-sleeved. But, apparently, his white arms are just his... white gloves! That caught me completely off guard and I was ultimately thrown off by this detail. Like, if Viv was gonna make him wear an extra pair of gloves, why can't they be another color?? Why couldn't they be the same as the first pair??? They legit had me thinking it was a simple short sleeve.... but nope!! He's just wearing really long gloves. For real, does he NOT get hot wearing that???

As for Angel Dust as a character? To put it simply..... well... he's just as flawed as every other character created by Viv. It's a little funny for me to say, cuz I don't even hate him completely? Initially, I did think he was awesome... like he's someone you'd want to be friends with. But now... he's just another Vivzie character I can hardly take pity for no matter what kinda bullsh*t he goes through cuz in the end, he don't deserve pity.

He's like Stolas in a way; he gets abused and manipulated by someone but has no problem acting like a douche to other people around him. And we are expected to take pity on him, cuz "Ooh, he can't help it! He's always abused and raped by Val! He has every right to be an a**, insult people around him, and cause trouble. Poor Angel!!"

Like... no....

As we all know, Angel Dust is a VERY OPENLY gay dude, and proud of it too. He's very sexual, likes to flirt and have sex with dudes (women too sorta, if they pay him more), sex jokes 24/7 with this man, and overall just like d*cks. Did I forget to mention he's gay? Yeah, what's unlikable about his character, and I may have mentioned something like this before, he's your typical gay man who just likes to have sex and is super perverted, and it is NOT a very good representation of the lgbt community. Viv has been doing that a lot with her characters and it's just flat-out annoying. He's just another walking fanservice!

Another thing that is annoying, not to mention confusing, is that he's a sexual character we're supposed to laugh at because he's sexual, and yet at the same time, we're supposed to take pity on him cuz he has a pimp who sexually abuses him? This is the kinda thing that happened with HB too;

Stolas flirts with Blitzo, harassing him and manipulating him. Blitzo does the same thing with his coworkers, stalking them, sexually harassing them, and even threatening to rape them at one point and all that was supposed to be painted as funny, when really it's not. The same thing happens with Angel; he makes sex jokes while also being a flirt with all the dudes around him and we're supposed to find this comedic and funny. But then he has a pimp who is just beyond cruel to Angel, sexually harassing him, raping him, very abusive, and in this case, we're supposed to cry and take pity on Angel?

....So, which is it?? Are we expected to laugh at his trauma or not?? Like, PICK ONE!!!

Why are we even laughing at the one thing that's supposed to depress him???

It doesn't even make sense with him as a character, because he'll go having lots of sex with folks, making sex jokes, brag about how hot he is, about how much he likes to get laid, flirt with other dudes, offer a blowjob out of nowhere, etc. and he'll feel all proud of, would gladly do all that sh*t again. But then minutes later, when someone does the EXACT SAME THING TO HIM, he'll start to feel hurt, harassed, or abused.

Again....Which is it!!!?? PICK ONE!!!

Another thing I notice is that his sheet mentions that he has trouble trusting people he meets. What exactly does Viv mean by that? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone doesn't have trust in you, then they would be a bit... standoffish. They would probably be aloof, not even wanting to make small talk, probably wouldn't even want to be your friend. Y'know just someone with trust issues. With Angel? I didn't see ANY of that in the pilot! I barely even saw it in the comic. Angel was super quick to become friends with Charlie and Vaggie. Albeit, he acts like a douche, he's still comfortable enough to crack jokes around them and is quick to accept the free housing they offered. If anything, he just takes advantage of them, causing trouble and making them look bad. Not to mention that he felt a little bad when he saw the sad look on Charlie's face and initially wanted to comfort her.

Then there was the ADDICT mv by the end where Angel scowls at Charlie and turns away from her. Why are we suddenly seeing him acting so mean?? And it's not mean like "It's just a prank bro." kinda mean. It's mean like, "Don't talk to me!". THAT is the only time where we see him having trust issues, and that's it! And then I look back at the pilot, the comic, and these audition scripts where he is having normal conversations with Vaggie and Charlie all the while being a little friendly with them. Does he have trouble trusting people or doesn't he???

And y'all can't tell me "Oh, it probably took him a while to start trusting Charlie and Vaggie." This dude spent two weeks with them! Even in that time, the only communication Angel should have with them is small talk and cold shoulders.

I honestly don't know what to expect from Angel when the show comes out. I'm just hoping he won't be totally botched like the majority of the characters in HB. But considering the rate that it's going, it's more than likely.

I actually like Husk a lot, so I really hope they don't screw up him in this series.

Not sure if there's much I can say about his character yet? All I know is that he's a really grumpy Garfield who likes drinking more than he likes eating.

I will say something about his design though. I don't totally find his look ugly.... and that's kinda the problem. So Husk is supposed to be an old dude. Like in his 60s or something. But the only trait he has to that is his gruff deep voice. The rest of him?? I guess some of Viv's characters just can't exist without them looking like you wanna simp for them, no matter if their designs don't match their character traits. If you want Husk to be an old grump, then make him LOOK like one. Have him be like Grunkle Stan from Gravity. At least give him a beer gut or something since he likes to drink a lot!

While we're on the topic of beers, I kinda agree with Vaggie with her comment about the bar. The whole point of Charlie's hotel project is to counsel any of the guests that come and visit. Help them cope with any sort of trauma or depression they have. Turn them into good people. Help them get over any kind of addiction they have. I really don't think the whole bar thing is gonna help any alcoholics who wanna drink until they sink. I've read Val's sheet and scripts and judging by those alone, I just know he's going to end up being another villain we are not going to take seriously at all. I don't even think I could call him a villain. I agree with what @showtoonzfan mentioned in one of their posts, he comes off as a school bully, your typical pimp who considers his prostitutes to be his property, and will be quick to get angry if he doesn't get his way. He'll probably say something like this to Angel, "I own you! I control you!" And I might just end up laughing cuz, of course he gonna say that, he's a pimp. And all pimps act like this (sarcastic voice).

That's pretty much all I could say for now. If you're curious about any others, I can try to think about it and give my input.

Anon you have no idea the kind of pandora box you just opened. Sure, I got some!

Fem! Onodera:

She was raised from a very young age to become the spitting image of the ideal japanese wife (yamato nadeshiko) by her mother (her father doesn't mind as much and is fine with who she is already). While she appears to be one at first glance, due to the feminine way she dresses (the kind of feminine a japanese man would like, i.e., modest), she is far from being a traditional woman.

For starters, she sucks at domestic chores. Just like canon Ritsu, her place is a mess. Her cooking skills are a bit more "refined" (her mom pushed her to learn how to cook as a way to become the perfect wife and mother), but it still leaves much to be desired (she is the kind of person who would burn the water).

Also, just like canon Ritsu, she was involved in an arranged married with her childhood friend and the only child of the Kohinatas (Akkun??? Yeah, let's go with that name for now). However, he was already aware of Ritsuko's umm...sapphic inclinations, and is very supportive of her. He is the one who called off the engagement, as Ritsuko's mother has always been more willing to listen to him instead of her own daughter.

As for her name, Ritsuko, I went with that since all sources I found about Ritsu as a name said that it's a guy's name (I'm aware that there are female characters named Ritsu). Also, I've heard that "yamato nadeshiko" women typically have names ending in -ko, so it was perfect.

Her job makes her prefer outfits that prioritize comfort over aesthetics. Even so, she is a fan of fashion (particularly couture fashion), and she likes to try on different outfits when she is all alone. Okay, MAYBE Takano has helped her a little with these "fashion shows" but you get the idea.

Speaking of fashion, she definitely has some lingerie in her closet (think of the most lacey, cutesy, and girly lingerie you could ever image). There is no big reason as to why she has them, she just thinks it makes her look cute. These are hidden as much as possible so that no one can find them.

Just like canon Ritsu, Ritsuko is a literature person. Her favorite genres are mystery and historical fiction.

Fem! Takano:

Not many differences with canon Takano. Because of her upbringing, she is a very independent person and is not under the pressure to get married and have kids, unlike most japanese women (read: Onodera).

This is more of a general thing: all the Emerald girls (yes, they're all girls in my AU) have different "female tropes" vibes. In Takano's case, she gives femme fatale vibes. While she can be intimidating as a boss (and the reason why she might be seen as one), Takano is a sensitive woman. Onodera knows this better than anybody else.

I named her Masami in my AU. Technically, the feminine version of Masamune is Masako, but I didn’t want to use too many names ending in -ko. Masami is a name with a plethora of writings. In this case, I like this version: 雅美, it means “elegant beauty”. I think it fits her just right.

She never gave too much thought about her sexuality back in high school. There were a lot of guys who liked her, and she even got some confessions and love letters from them. The other girls would say that she was very lucky, but she didn't feel like it was like that. It wasn't until Oda came into the picture that she went "shit I'm gay".

She still has one of the books she borrowed from Onodera back in high school. Ritsuko has completely forgotten about it. You can see it on Takano's bookcase.

Takano is the type of person who could wear anything and would still look good. She shows up in a hoodie and some sweatpants and other women at Marukawa are like "omg fashion icon!!".

You bet your ass she sends Ritsuko pictures of cats snuggling together and write something like "look it's us". She isn’t planning on stopping anytime soon. Actually, Onodera doesn’t her want her to stop either.

"I understand we've already sent you out before, Padmé. But due to your connections, you're the only one to have a double place and only got discovered when the Chancellor got close enough. We can avoid that mistake again, but I'm curious to see how the war is going. These clones, they're people, I want to see how they are holding up."

Padmé had fallen silent for a moment, there was a pain she remembered all too well when she had returned. But those were personal matters that she would rather not think about, it was true, her handmaidens were more than capable of taking her place, given it was for a short amount of time. "I'll have to discuss it with the others first. I don't desire to put anyone in a situation they do not wish to be in." Bail nodded in agreement.

"Once you have your answer, please inform me. I will be quick to get you a ship to head out and simply observe."

With that said, Padmé left his office and made way for her companions. She already knew what the answer would be, but she wanted them to know it would not be the same as the last time.

She had been silent since she had boarded the ship, her gaze was turned towards one of the nearby windows as she looked out into space. It truly was something beautiful, it was something temporary to keep her mind at ease as she would soon be entering hostile grounds where honestly- anything could happen. But this was for observation purposes of how the war this far end was affecting clones, as well as civilization caught in the crossfire- that evolution would give her an idea of exactly what they could do to attempt to aid the people.

Time seemed to fly quickly, and as soon as they had taken off, they were already beginning to land. She stayed put for a moment longer until she heard the doors begin to open, only then did she stand and head towards the exit. Outside, a few troopers stood nearby waiting to begin the on-foot transport. "Right this way. " She nodded politely, pulling a hood over her to cover some of her face. The sounds of gunfire rang in the distance, and the sound and smell of war were prominent. She could feel a wave of anxiety wash over her, the last time she did a mission like this- she found herself fighting alongside the clones, and as thrilling as it had been, she did not wish to endure a life-threatening situation again.

The Commander spoke little, his eyes alert and tired at the same. If anything he was focused on the task at hand, bringing her and a few other volunteers to a nearby village. And he had done so, successfully. It was upon arrival that something... no someone caught her attention. Her heart felt like it had leaped in her chest, was that... Anakin? She knew as a Jedi he was called out to places like this, but due to their missions to cross paths seemed so unlikely, and the lecture she could already hear of taking up this mission. Curiosity, it pulled at her until her strings gave in and Padmé found herself slipping away from the group to follow a familiar figure. When she approached close enough she decided to take a shot in the dark, looking off but speaking loudly enough for only him to hear,

"Anakin?"

OK THEN let's start w the basics as always! :D hop like marnie is one of the three rivals protagonist has in swsh but unlike marnie he's the main rival! u probably know abt main rivals in pokemon games yes u do 👍👍 and if u don't. it's just the rival that is more important. ofc there's only been main rivals since like. xy i think? bc earlier there was only like one rival or maybe two. i think it was in uno a actually ANYWAYS i'm just boring u rn so i'll move on fkhdjdk SO as i said hop is protagonist's main rival and BOOM his brother is the champion of the region. yup just like that. he's called leon btw but this ain't abt him 😒😒 AHEM SO hop and protagonist too live in the first town in the game called postwick! they're literally the only people who live there. which is pretty funny considering there's literally another village like. 20 meters away but wtv pokemon can do wtv they want dkhfjd i just realized that if i tell u EVERYTHING abt hop this won't be an essay but a research work so i'll try and stay brief in the least important parts! OK SO protagonist's seeing a match between leon and his rival aka dragon type gym leader raihan and he comes over saying leon's gonna arrive soon so u both go out BUT just outside protagonist's house there's this fence that leads to a very creepy forest called slumbering weald and oh no! a wooloo (aka sheep pokemon) is using tackle against it! obviously it's bound to open at some point BUT that comes later 👍👍 SO leon arrives gives protagonist and hop a starter and that's when hop brings up the gym challenge! u see unlike other regions in galar u need someone important from the league to recommend u so u can participate in the gym challenge and Yes obviously leon's gonna recommend u BUT NOT YET!!!!!!! after that it's made clear that hop rlly wants to defeat leon and become the new champion but um. if u have basic pokemon knowledge u know that protagonist ALWAYS becomes the champion. and in this game specifically all the rivals want to be champions so the protagonist rlly does shatter their dreams ^^; but we don't talk abt that HAHA OK u have ur first battle w hop and just after that the wooloo opens the fence and enters the slumbering weald! and protagonist and hop don't think abt the risk of going in there bc they're heroic and stupid sighs. so they enter and there's a lot of fog and OH MY GOD IS THAT THE LEGENDARY DOG FROM THE COVER OF THE GAME yes it is! depending on the game u've chosen either zacian or zamazenta appear BUT in their normal forms w/o the sword and shield respectively! the fog gets horrible and protagonist and hop faint and oh no it's the end! but no bc leon exists and he saves them AND the wooloo 🙄🙄 ok i might have a bit of hatred towards leon BUT THIS AIN'T ABT HIM ANYWAYS protagonist gets a pokedex, fights hop and they get the recommendation from leon and so u leave the village to go to the opening ceremony in motostoke! u arrive there and reach the fire type gym to get ur league number and participate in the gym challenge and um. w-well. remember how i said this was the time when protagonist met marnie? but u didn't have to talk to her right then if u didn't want to? well u see i also said that's when protagonist meets me/bede and this time it is mandatory to interact. kind of. i don't think that was interacting ANYWAYS let's just say me and hop don't rlly get along very well during the gym challenge ^^; i'll have to talk abt The Thing later....... BUT THAT'S LATER OK? OK THAT'S SETTLED THEN ANYWAYS protagonist goes to the opening ceremony and then battles hop and he gives the protagonist.......

ta-da! his beautiful league card <3 i mean srsly isn't he the most beautiful guy ever And i think i'll shut up now bc i'm not gay COUGHS so protagonist does the gym challenge like normal, hop goes his own way and just like that ur already back in motostoke bc NO the fire type gym isn't the first gym but the third for. reasons. both of them win and now they're both on their way to hammerlocke to continue w the challenge BUT. but. what a powerful word am i right? just by saying it yk smth's gonna happen. and smth DOES happen. um. well i uhhhhhh how do i put this. maybe if i just don't say it hahahaha 😁😁 OH BUT I HAVE TO THIS IS A PART OF HOP'S LORE AFTER ALL....... OK FINE ibedeappearoutofnowherestartinsultinghopwehaveabattlehelosesisayhesdraggingleonsnamethruthemudandthenleave PHEW OK that was easier than i thought <- almost started crying while typing it SO UM yeah the thing changes hop completely and it's all my fault :') dies WE IGNORE THAT EPISODE OF MY LIFE AND THE GYM CHALLENGE BC IT WAS HORRIBLE OK THANK U anyways after The Incident hop becomes more doubtful abt how good he is in pokemon battles and in general he's less cheery and all :c i actually haven't explained abt his personality yet so this is the perfect time! so like every other main rival he's a happy and mostly hyperactive individual who's also impatient! he also loves leon bc he's his hero and all that :] wldn't u say he's the most adorable ever Dies anyways and after all this i've told u well yeah he's sadder it's all super sad and i swear that part of the game is super depressing and everytime i replay the game i start crying BUT we're here to learn abt hop and not abt bee crying over hop during the gym challenge DO BACK TO THE THING from there his pokemon team changes constantly and he even stops having wooloo (aka the pokemon he's had since he was like five) in his team to see if he gets better in pokemon battles :') he's not even bad in battles but his rival is the future champion of the region and he just fought against a future fairy type gym leader so uh. yeah kfhdjdj ANYWAYS he's down for a bit BUT THEN after protagonist defeat the rock or ice type gym leader (depending on the game) he's happy again and everyone's happy too and i cry bc he's just so dkfjksjdkskd :') i lvoe him I MEAN nothing hahahaha ahem so after all that protagonist defeats some more gym leaders and eventually reaches the last city in the game in which the semifinals are taking place! BUT BEFORE THEY START there's this dialogue w hop.......

screenshots from my very own switch bc i'm insane. u see i haven't said it but a bit after The Incident i go batshit and decide to destroy this mural in a village. there's an explanation i swear i'm not insane fkhfjdj back then i worked for the chairman and he wanted to collect wishing stars and what is that u may wonder! well to stay short they make dynamaxing possible! but the chairman is using them for..... smth else. that i'll explain later SO since wishing stars are in caves i decide that it's a great idea to fucking destroy a mural! it actually pays off bc there's some important statues beneath it BUT the chairman doesn't like it and BOOM ur no longer in the gym challenge koha basically ur dad just expelled u 👍👍 but that's for another time fuck rose ANYWAYS as u can see he doesn't even hate me. WHAT IS WRONG W HIM i hate him (i'm in love w him) ANYWAYS protagonists defeats him and just like that breaks hop's dreams :') so basically the only character his age that doesn't hurt him at some point is marnie! way to go my girl ur the best 🫶🫶 but yeah some stuff after that happen and when protagonist goes to fight leon the chairman goes BAM and he wakes up this alien pokemon w all the wishing starts he's collected and everything goes a bit insane BUT during the story (i haven't mentioned it bc this wld end up being too long altho this is already horribly long but too late now fkdhjdjs) protagonist and hop learn abt the story abt galar and oh! there's this two heroes w zacian and zamazenta! and so they both go back to the slumbering weald get the rusted sword and shield to see if they can summon them and so they go to hammerlocke where the chairman is defeat him and then go fight the alien pokemon aka eternatus bc leon fainted while trying to catch it w a pokeball. who tf tries to catch such a powerful pokemon w a POKEBALL. but anyways zacian and zamazenta appear but they look cooler thanks to the rusted sword and shield and they defeat eternatus and three days pass protagonist defeats leon and becomes the champion OK so after that everything goes back to normal but now hop feels like he's a burden to everyone bc everyone's become super cool things and all that but at the end of the post game he catches zacian or zamazenta depending on the game and becomes the assistant professor!! so after all this u get that he's very cheery yet insecure. which is strangely like me. but that's NEVER happening ok? ok NOW random facts. i think i've given u all the possible random facts EXCEPT for the league number one! his league number can be read as hiyaku in japanese which means jump and well. that makes a lot of sense fkdhjfjs OH ALSO

My 2nd post about playing Pokemon Scarlet (just got to the school)

In this post I marvel about how big the world is and talk a bit about Team Star.

I've only just gotten to the school, but decided to stop to post again. I'm having a great time! Could really use a bike though, lol. But I guess I'm going to get to ride Koraidon soon.

I really love exploring so I spent so much time just wondering off and looking around so it took me awhile to continue the story. I picked up so many items and caught a whole bunch of Pokemon! I think Box 1 is getting close to full :D

The city the academy is at is SO big! It took awhile to explore all of it, bought a whole bunch of sandwich ingredients and a few other things. Excited to try the picnic feature, I'm prepared for it!

The city really feels like a city. It's interesting how cities have evolved overtime in Pokemon games. Before Pokemon games couldn't really do nearly as much to emphasize scale, buildings were pretty small looking because of that top down view. But now the world feels truly big, seeing Pokemon out in the wild emphasized that too.

Reminds me of seeing my cat inside vs outside. Inside she seems to be a pretty normal size, albeit a bit on the small side. But the times my cat has gotten outside, she just seems tiny compared to the outside world. Seeing how small Pokemon can be when they're just hanging around outside really shows how big the land is.

Oh yeah and what's-his-name the son of the professor was interesting to run into. I kind of forgot about it because I spent so much time exploring. I find it funny that his first interaction with you is pretty much telling you to fuck off. And then he just dumps the giant lizard on you and doesn't really explain anything. It really feels like he's hiding something.

Anyway the Eevee backpack girl is cute, excited to get to know her more! And I continue to love Nemona, I love how much she loves battling. Love her comment about the stairs, if this wasn't a video game, indeed, those stairs would be a bitch to climb. It feels like complaining about the stairs is like an in-joke among the students.

Love my first interaction with Team Star. Pokemon really has been leaning into these antagonist teams as being non-evil. Like trouble makers but not evil unlike a lot of earlier generations.

I always can't help but wonder what the implication of the use of the word "Team" means to those who live in the Pokemon world. Like there's the infamous Team Rocket which is a mafia. And then you got Team Skull which are more like petty criminals, but still criminals.

Like doesn't calling something a "Team" send off red flags or something? Or are there others "Teams" out there who are chill? Then again maybe Team Star like the use of the word "Team" to sound tough? Like a kid calling themselves a gangster? I guess if they called themselves a gang, they world be Gang Stars.

Anyway I guess they are a bunch of trouble makers in school who like to play hooky. So far they don't really seem that bad though. Although it's rude to be pushy about getting someone to join something.

I find it funny that you beat that one girl and the other guy is like "I don't really want to fight, there's no way I'm winning" but then Nemona is like "It's either let them practice terralizing on you, or you fight me" And the guy was like "ok fine" and he went in there fully knowing he wasn't going to win.

What a refreshing character interaction I'm so used to Pokemon grunts being like "I'm totally going to win!" right after seeing someone else get creamed by me. Fun seeing them have more situational awareness. Looking forward to more Team Star in the future.

Something kind of funny is that I've already evolved my starter already. To end this post off here's my current Team (The shiny Scatterbug I caught isn't on it right now because I want to focus on new Pokemon):

so, yeah; I'm back on a humongous fuckin' Marvel kick since Guardians of the Galaxy 3 came out. you know why I'm here; yee local friendly trans is looking for some threads. here's a lil' bit about myself to start off:

31yo, ftm, Europe. my current main muse is Gamora, with some Rhodey on the side. I've written plenty of side characters (Nebula being my personal fave) that I can toss into any plot, storyline, thread or whatever.

I can write entire fuckin' novellas when I really get into it, especially for a starter. typically minimum of three paragraphs, unless we're doing a quickfire conversation. I'm fluent in english, spell check is my best friend and I'm happy to be corrected should I get something wrong. my absolute favorite in regards to writing is romance with a good balance of things, angst in balance with fluff, hurt with comfort, a bit of nice plot to go along the romance, plus some smut thrown in if we're both into it. preferred platform is discord, open to tupperbox! now, what I'm looking for;

honestly, I'd just love some good, wholesome rarepairs (or crackships, as the kids call it I guess) with my Gamora. special mentions to Yondu/Gamora, Thor/Gamora, Loki/Gamora, Adam/Gamora, Rocket/Gamora, Kraglin/Gamora...

...and others! I'm open to ideas, personally I'm just thrilled about the idea of a character study into romance between two unlikely people. best believe I come equipped with concepts and plot ideas ready to roll, as well.

This blog is meant to be for incidental and side-characters in a muse’s life. Maybe you want to have your muse to interact with a classmate during an after-class club or there isn’t anyone actively roleplaying your muse’s best friend. Or maybe you are a pokemon trainer and wants to interact with one of your pokemon and you don’t want to be the one controlling both of them. A rival that pushes your muse’s buttons and challenges them. Perhaps a quest-giving NPC to get an adventure going or simply to make a thread focused on character development that you feel awkward in hogging all the spotlight of the thread. Every experience will be tailored for each and every partner that engages here. It is highly unlikely there will be a “muse list” because it isn’t their focus. I'll try to provide a few icons but it is likely some of the replies will be iconless or have very little in the way of a psd. so, yeah; I'm back on a humongous fuckin' Marvel kick since the new Guardians of the Galaxy came out. you know why I'm here; yee local friendly trans is looking for some threads. here's a lil' bit about myself to start off:

I can write entire fuckin' novels when I really get into it, especially for a starter. typically minimum of three paragraphs, unless we're doing a quickfire conversation. I'm fluent in english, spell check is my best friend and I'm happy to be corrected should I get something wrong. my absolute favorite in regards to writing is romance with a good balance of things, angst in balance with fluff, hurt with comfort, a bit of nice plot to go along the romance, plus some smut thrown in if we're both into it. preferred platform is discord, open to tupperbox! now, what I'm looking for;

Hi! I got here from a link you put on Reddit! Can I hear more about BEST4 please? Because now I’m really curious and you don’t seem to have posted much about it yet. What kind of music do they play, for starters? And what’s their SEKAI like?

Oh hi! Wow I didn't think someone would actually be interested in them haha but of course you can, I love talking about them!

First off, they're a group of DJs, meaning their music would consist mostly of electro/club music and remixes. Since they always like to improve themselves and push the boundaries of their music, there's also a bit of alternative stuff in there like ATOLS' 'Macaron' for example. If they were to become an actual PJSK group, their first covers would be Neru's 'The Disease Called Love' and Kashi Moimi's 'Insanity Blue'.

Their names are Nakano Hifumi (brown haired girl), Watanabe Sion (green haired guy), Kojima Mai (black haired girl) and Kitagawa Haruto (purple haired guy). It's okay if you forget them I won't blame you haha. In general they're very competitive people, Hifumi especially (she's the leader), and it's kind of why they don't really get along. Each one of them being a solo artist before they formed this group, they all have their own idea as to how to improve their music, and sometimes these ideas end up clashing. The biggest dispute though is between Haruto and Sion, who fought back in middle school/early high school and haven't been able to make up since.

The theme of their SEKAI is 'futuristic'. As for the place itself, the idea isn't set in stone yet but for now I like the idea of them being on the rooftop of a building in a big city, at night, with several floating metallic platforms that serve as their stages.

When they first get there, there are only Miku, Rin and Len. Unlike the Mikus from other SEKAI, this Miku is very standoffish and flat out refuses to perform with them at first! She represents the strong persona that some vocaloid songs like Ghost Rule, Kimagure Mercy or Unhappy refrain use. It's only when BEST4 reaches a satisfying level that she agrees to help them. As for Rin and Len, at first they feel pretty lifeless, almost robot-like, you will never find one without the other to the point where they seem to share a mind. But they eventually grow into their own after a few event stories.

I'm currently trying to come up with proper designs and character sheets for them but it's been a struggle to come up with satisfying outfits heh. Hopefully I'll be able to finish them soon, but don't hesitate if you have anymore questions, I'd never pass up an opportunity to talk about what I have planned for them!

Hey may I get a rating as well? I have a Janome JR1012. I've had it for eight years, it's my trusty old Lady. It can manage anything. I feel like it's a great beginner machine. I'd be sad to part with it but I'm thinking about upgrading? -getting a newer machine with more stitches, more options for stitch width + length, needle position, preferably fully mechanical.

You seem super knowledgeable about sewing machines, maybe you have some advice for me? I was hoping to not spend more than 600€/ 660$, is that even doable?

Okay, so, for starters, if it's working for you, it works! Janome doesn't offer that model anymore but the Janome Sew Fresh and the Janome Arctic Crystal both look like they're mechanically similar. Those are both in what I'll call the Ultra Budget range. Generally, I'd expect an ultra-budget machine to struggle over some heavily gathered quilter's cotton, so I'm going to assume that yours is of a bit better build than the Arctic Crystal.

The biggest problem I could see with this machine is one that you're already aware of: no fully-variable independent stitch width and length adjustments. When you're looking to upgrade, however, you're going to find that almost all machines not in the low budget range will have this, so here's some more things to consider:

Expected lifespan: If you're looking for a fully mechanical model, you should be absolutely caring about how long it will last you. After all, there hasn't been a major mechanical upgrade to the sewing machine in the past like 40 years, and it's unlikely that one will come soon. Unlike a computerized model, your mechanical machine won't become obsolete in 30 years.

Availability of accessories: You can get aftermarket versions of a lot of stuff if your machine follows the sort of standard ultra low shank dealio, but can you get a straight stitch plate or an extension table? Those two kind of need to be specific for your machine.

p-p-p-power: Question 1) can you put eight layers of a nice upholstery brocade under that needle and tell it to go through it? If so, good job. Question 2) does it know it's going through eight layers of upholstery brocade and argue with it, or does it say lol it's just another day. The best machines can go through eight layers of denim and be unaware that they're going through eight layers of denim.

Space to the right of the needle: We call this "throat depth" and that sounds gross to me so I call it space to the right of the needle. The bigger this space is, the easier it is to do bulky projects. However, be aware, the bigger this space is, the more annoying your machine will be to store. It's a balance issue here.

So, if you want to stick with Janome (and I really love Janome), I'd check out the Janome HD-3000. The Janome heavy duty line is really quite nice and I think the -3000 is really worth the extra money for it. We've got someone who gets their -3000 serviced at my store and I've been eyeing that pretty thing for quite a while on my list of machines that I want if Tanq dies. I'd probably actually be getting a HV Emerald 118 because of employee discount reasons, but the Janome HD-3000 is on the list.

Meaning the other one on the list of potential fully-mechanical machines available in the $600 and below price range, the Emerald 116 is really nice. No computer, just power. I recommend the 118 if you've been sewing on a computerized machine and the 116 if you've been sewing on a mechanical due to the needle position function.

Wow, that was a lot of buying advice and not a lot of reviewing the machine you have. I think, if it's letting you do everything you want, it's a good machine. However, it's sounding like you have grown out of your machine that you have. I think that, if you get another machine, especially a fully-mechanical powerhouse, you're going to find a lot of things that you can now sew that you previously hadn't realized you couldn't sew.

(Part of me feels like I'm at work and feels obligated to try to welcome you into the era of the computerized sewing machine just for all the cool shit that comes with that but the other part of me says no, sewing has been around since long before the computerized machine, and if that's what you need, that's what you need. I'm a little conflicted here but I'm going to stand firm on "there's good mechanical machines out there".)
