Well, my Jevil gains the power create mirrors and walk through them into other AUs and timelines. So maybe his power matches up?? I'm not familiar with that Kefka character <XD

Glamrock Foxy still suffers from baby disease XD He may be bigger then Chica and Freddy, but they can still push him around fairly easily.

I also imagine becuase he's so light he can easily be picked up by the other Glamrocks. Poor Foxy can never catch a break XDD

Also Swap Foxy would never pick up OG Foxy. He couldn't do that to him man he knows the pain all too well <XD

Freddy would be really sad seeing Bonnie like that. He doesn't even have to ask anyone what's up with him. He knows that Bonnie cant handle constant activity, noise and lights. He's just not programmed with that kind of processing power. After every performance back in the day, Freddy was the first one check on Bonnie and get him to his room if he was wiped out.

And he was always the last to speak with him after he emerged from his room. Waiting for Bonnie to talk to him first when he was ready.

Seeing him like this now.. so.. hollow. It just breaks his heart. He can tell just by looking at him that no one has treated Bonnie right or attended to his needs in any way. For years. He wouldn't take any of Bonnies rudeness or sarcasm personally. It would bounce right off him because he knows why Bonnie is saying those things and he means none of it.

If Glamrock Freddy was in the swap AU, he would completely leave Bonnie alone. He wouldn't talk to him or address him in anyway. Buuuut maybe he would hover nearby. To be there to give Bonnie an escape from any given situation or if he happens to need someone or something, Freddy would be there to help.

But still. Never talk to him or look at him. Bonnie doesn't need any more things to process.. :(

I mean, I guess in my AU Professor Natquik was probably the main polar scout leader- or maybe even the founder of the polar scouts?? Or at the very least he could have been a beloved polar scout leader for like.. 20-30 years or something before he dipped and went to the Antarctic. That's all I can think of <XD

They grew up on the Octopod yes. And I don't think its a thing of child labor XD I imagine that all the Octonauts can cook for themselves. The Vegimals are just very eager to help out and they love to cook! Its become their way of helping out around the ship because they want to help. But they can stop when ever- no one is forcing them to be their cooks or even live there. They can leave when ever they want! But they choose not to because they love the crew and they love to cook!

Actually, google says that Barnacles is from Northern Canada. Something about a decorative banner he has labeled "MV Manitoba", which is a reference to the province of Manitoba..?

Which I guess if he is from Northern Canada, that banner and wheel is the only Canadian thing he brought to the Octopod.? XD

1: In the partial swap with Gregory.. I imagine there was a moment like in the classic AU where Monty and Foxy sat down with Chica and told her that Freddy was gone. She probably got some old posters and pointed Freddy out to Gregory. Eventually communicating that she wanted to look for him. In which, they would find him all beat up..

In the true swap, with little Vanessa, I imagine its the same thing. Despite Bonnie taking the place of Freddy, its still Monty and Foxy that sit down and explain Freddy's disappearance. In which again, Chica points out Freddy in the posters to Vanessa and they go find him.

2: I believe in both the Partial and true swap, Freddy and Chica's decommissions happened the same way/for the same reasons as Foxy and Bonnie in the Classic AU.

3: Fazer blast doesn't actually exist in the partial or true swap. In the classic AU Freddy and Chica's attraction was just the main stage and party area. And Bonnie had the Bowling ally and Foxy had Pirates cove.

When the Glamrock era began, Bonnie bowl and Pirates cove were left untouched. Meanwhile Freddy and Chica's roles expanded and they were given Fazer Blast and Mazercise.

In the true and partial swap, that stage and party area are just kind'a.. left there. Maybe sometimes big party's happen and one of the bots come and preform on that old stage.? But mostly the giant stage is used and that old party stage is left to collect dust. Which is a blessing in disguise. I cant imagine the pain the bots would feel preforming on that stage where their friends once stood..

As for Bonnie bowl, yeah it was expanded big time. And is way more decked out than it was before. As for the Pizzaplex its name is still the same. But I imagine the logo looks a bit different :0

Thank you! And that would be something that would shock the classic Glamrocks. Swap Freddy is in significantly worse shape than Classic Bonnie.. (which was intentional ;}})

Freddy would be rather disturbed seeing his old model so messed up. Considering how much he misses the past and his old body.. seeing an eye hanging out, his arm broken- his leg twisted in the wrong direction.. ehg, it would really freak him out. He'd have a hard time looking at himself..

Chica seeing her old self would disturb her, but also make her jealous somewhat.?? My Chica doesn't like being a Glamrock and misses her old body and role on stage. So seeing herself back in her pink dress and soft yellow feathers.. despite the removal of her beak and hands she'd be weirdly envious.

Monty and Roxy wouldn't have any unique or interesting reactions. They'd just be like "wow you guys look janked up I'm so sorry" XD

ok so everyone is doing this so imma do it too.

So when I first started reading toast I was like "lesters funny but he's kinda a drama king and thats annoying me a lil" but then,,, like- he started realizing "oH. I FUCKED UP A LIL AS A GOD" and once he started realizing that and acting on the idea that he needed to start being better, hE ACTUALLY BECAME SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER (not that he wasn't already but yk)

So like it kinda when like this

The hidden Oracle: Lester starts as a drama king and I didn't rlly like him too much at first. Like I would literally cringe every paragraph bc he was still in the "im a God and I'm better than u mortals" mindset which is probably why he annoyed me at first. But then he started realizing stuff like, "oh ya maybe that was my fault" example, Daphne and hyacinth. And then also realizing that everyone didn't love him, they just didn't disrespect him bc he could have smited them when he was a god

The dark prophecy: I liked this one a lot actually. Bc meg came back and it showed how much Lester loved her (as a sister) and also had Lester realize that he was kinda petty as a god and that he could have helped a lot more people. AND,,, THERE WAS A OLD LESBIAN COUPLE WHICH I LOVE (I can't remember their names T^T) NOT TO MENTION LEO CAME BACK!!! and the hunters of Artemis, I love them sm.

Burning maze: ...so- I already had spoilers for this one so everytime Callugulas (?) Or Jason's name came out I started tearing up thinking abt what was gonna happen. And Lester sacrificing himself was everything. Literally I was terrified but at the Sam time iT SHOWED SO MUCH GROWTH!!! But honestly I'm glad Jasper broke up bc it was so forced- AND GROVER!!! I LITERALLY SQUEALED WHEN GROVER SHOWED UP!!! and I love all of the dryads sm. And loved coach hedge as well. But honestly it was a rlly good read!! I mean in my opinion Rick is better at first person than 3rd tbh. And Piper slayed. I love her.

The tyrants tomb: ok, I'mma just be honest here, I cried the most during this book. Between Lester almost dying, all of the mentions of Jason, all of the minor characters that died, and everything else, my eyes literally stung by the time I finished reading- BUT DONS DEATH HAD ME BAWLING. I LITERALLY WAS CRYING MY EYES OUT. AND DAKOTA DIED TOO!! I LOVED HIS CHARACTER!!! oh and Artemis and Apollos reunion was SOOO sweet (yes I cried when that happened too). And frazel <33 AND OH MY GODS DON'T GET ME STARTED ON REYNA!!! I LOVED HER BEFORE TTT BUT SHE JUST GOT BETTER!!! I love her sm. And hazel as well!!! AND OH MY GODS (AGAIN) LAVINA!!! MY LIL PINK HAIRED LESBIAN! I LIVE FOR HER CHARACTER! and lavina x poison oak forever bc I love them. But Don 😭 I literally died inside when he died. And oh Hades, meg and her armed unicorns- that was everything- and Apollo seeing how his actions hurt other people like the silent god and the voice in the jar (I'm terrible at names sorry) was such a character arch as well.

Tower of Nero: I'm just gonna say it,the solangelo in this book gave me life. They were so CUTE. and the ....hat creatures (i can't spell their name) were hilarious ngl. AND RACHEL SAW THE BROOKLYN HOUSE AND ONE OF FELIX'S PENGUINS- I LITERALLY STARTED LAUGHING SO HARD DURING THAT SCENE- oh my gods and don't get me started on how much the python and Apollo scene scared me. I was like holy shit Apollos gonna die! Dues flash, he didn't but yk- and meg and Apollo were the best. AND LOU!!! OH MY GODS I LOVED HER!! and I feel bad for all of neros adopted kids :( but Apollo after he became a god again literally shocked me so much- like- he forgave his father!! That shocked me so so much but I was so proud of him 😭

Anyways overall, I loved this series so much. The characters were amazing,the plot was amazing, Apollos character arch was wonderfully written- and I just loved it.

HORNY DOSTI FIC: COMPLETE

Indulge me for a moment. I had been lurking in fandoms for over a decade, because I've had some very bad experiences with fandom and fic spaces being, for lack of a better word, toxic as fuck. The RRR fandom, specifically RamBheem, has been such a healing experience for my relationship to this style of writing. This is the first fic I've published since the livejournal days! And while I don't necessarily think it's objectively good (I am rusty, after all) I'm proud of it and find some moments to be really cute. So here's a big fat POST giving context to each chapter relative to where it falls in the montage.

ENTWINED IN FINDING YOU ONE DAY

(All these titles are Nightwish references. Can't help being a metalhead!)

Chapter One: Away from the World in a Dream Ram gets misty-eyed about Bheem making him feel at home for the first time since he was a child. Then they play-fight and splash each other while doing dishes because they're insufferable.

Chapter 2: I Weep to Have What I Fear to Lose This is actually my favorite chapter. Ram grapples with his feelings for Sita, and Bheem tries to offer support but only causes more confusion. Ram's emotions boil over and he physically needs to get them out, so he challenges Bheem to a foot race. At the end, Bheem picks Ram up and throws him over his shoulder. And Ram, well... uh.... Ram gets a boner, okay?!

Chapter 3: Come Cover Me SMUT TIME! The boys pull over from their ride to take a break in the shade. Bheem spills his guts about how much pain he can sense in Ram and offers him a massage. And then it gets steamy.

Chapter 4: Walk the Dark Path, Sleep with Angels Angsty Ram reflects on his sexy time in the meadow with Bheem and what it all means. He takes a bath and giggles to himself about all the things they did, then tortures himself about the implications. He's a mess. All he wants is to see Bheem again.

Chapter 5: Dear One, Here I Am MOAR SMUT! The boys reunite for an evening stroll through the fog, but Bheem has a surprise waiting for Ram. He cleaned and decorated the inside of an abandoned building so they could be alone and, you know... fuck. Very, very schmaltzy and affectionate but also just a lil bit nasty.

Ngl, I ended the last chapter abruptly because I was tired of writing and reading the name "Akhtar." That's why I called him Bheem here. I didn't even realize until I was balls deep in this fic how attached I am to Bheem's name. All my future fic will be with his real name.

ngl it do make me a lil worried when i see a story where all 7 are doms- i guess as an enjoyer of shy, awkward types i can't help but cringe when all 7 are portrayed as the spit in your mouth, toss you around the room type kdjsanf. but i'm not worried when it comes to trouvaille! your characterization is superb, i look forward to seeing the differences in the hybrids when it comes to the smut <3 i hope at least one is a soft dom, we need more soft sweet doms in bts fanfics!!

Ahhhh babe I don't want to worry you!! Truthfully, I don't have any experience writing male submissive characters, and I wouldn't want to put out writing that isn't informed and researched; I wouldn't do it justice and it wouldn't be fair to the readers. I can, however, promise you that there are plenty of soft doms in Trouvaille! There are seven of them, and there are many types of dominant one can be; not all of them are hard, punishing doms-- there are soft doms/caretaker types, brat tamers, riggers (ropes), service tops, etc. I've worked hard to make each hybrid's personality unique, and as a bit of a hint, their personalities will reflect in the bedroom too <3

Also, I've considered their species as hybrids! They're all apex predators apart from Jeongguk, and even Jeongguk (elk) is a very powerful animal that tends to intimidate other wildlife in nature. Because of this, I knew when outlining this story that they'd all dominate MC. I feel you, anon- I love a good shy and awkward type! The Trouvaille guys are just a bit rough around the edges, but consider Taehyung, Seokjin and Jimin in this-- the sweetest boys around! Don't worry, I promise all of them are unique when it comes to the smut, and there are a handful of them that are tender doms <3

I want to thank you for paying me such kind compliments, honey; it means so much that you are enjoying the characterization of the boys in Trouvaille, they're my dear babies :') I will take good care of them and make you proud in the future when it comes to the romance scenes!

If you mean the whole beginning of ch 5 up through the scry, it's actually 877 words, but who cares, we'll do it anyway, bc you're one of my foremost enablers(especially for tLBT) and I can't really find a good place to cut part of it so it's 500 or fewer. xD Also, excellent choice. :3

After spending a few more minutes annoyed at her inability to talk to Red about the gala, Xaeryn managed to wrench her thoughts back to the case. There was still daylight, she had time to investigate the alleyway following up on what Ferrin had said. Just in case she wound up pushing toward evening, however, she opted to drive rather than walk. There’d been a few news articles recently about an uptick in pickpockets, and it wouldn’t do to make anyone worry.

There was, as luck would have it, a spot not far from the mouth of the alley, and she deftly maneuvered her car into the space between two much newer-model automobiles. Their gleaming black finish made hers look positively dingy by comparison but also brought to mind her tail from the last visit to the museum. Neither, however, had accents of any color, and she was equal parts disappointed and reassured as she headed for the alley.

Xaeryn's been a fun challenge to write as the main/only POV bc she's more closed off, formal, and straightforward, less the charming, friendly, lightly sarcastic banter type of character I usually gravitate towards. She eases up a bit around Red bc he rubs off on her whenever they're together(also bc she's stuck on him). She's normally not shy about making her wants/needs/requirements etc known--see her convo with Riel in ch 1, or any of the times she talks to Aerin--and is usually very good at separating the personal and professional, so for her to get tongue-tied and chicken out of asking for something absolutely vital to her investigation for personal reasons has her v irritated at herself. She's also v good at focusing on the task at hand, or at least pushing on through potential distractions. Hence the being annoyed at herself only lasting a few minutes before plowing on with the case. And I'm p sure we all know she really means when she thinks she doesn't want anyone Red to worry. :3 I had to put that in there, the lil exaggerated snipe-y mental eyeroll that's also 100% for real. She doesn't want him to worry. Mostly bc then he'll fuss, which is almost as annoying as it is endearing.

She started at the entrance and worked in toward the gates, figuring she could continue down the other side if she came up empty. Part of her was cynical about finding anything so long after the fact, but the stubborn part--frustrated by her slow progress on this case--refused to give up without confirming. It didn’t look like this alley was cleaned all that often, maybe there was something useful.

It's very fun having a character who's equal parts stubborn and cynical. A lot of "this has a 99% chance of being useless, but my other option is giving up SO I'm doing it anyway."

Besides, it was a distraction from the other thing she needed to find--the nerve to ask Red about the gala. It was much more elusive quarry than anything case related.

Ngl, I'm very proud of this pair of sentences.

What was so hard about asking him?

YOU KNOW, XAERYN SHRIKE. YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY.

I don’t want to inconvenience him when he’s already doing so much for me.

You know he’d be happy to help, floated through her mind and only made matters worse.

The fun part about this is she genuinely doesn't want to inconvenience him. He's done a lot for her already and she doesn't want to take him from his "real job" to help her. And is also using it as an excuse. Both things are true!

She also knows he'd drop literally everything in a heartbeat to help her just for the asking(and she would for him).

Disrupting his schedule to travel all the way to Haven is a little different than turning him loose on a research project, she countered, nudging aside a tattered tarp with her shoe. Nothing.

He just told you he doesn’t have as much going in right now. And both of you would drop everything to help the other and you know it.

Alright, fine, I don’t trust myself. The fact sat solid in her chest as soon as she admitted it, brusquely poking around a stack of discarded pallets. I’m afraid if I ask him to do this, even if it is genuinely as a friend, I won’t be able to hide the way I feel under those circumstances.

Her mask is only so good, after all. And she's been hiding this a long, long time. It's had plenty of opportunity to grow.

It was a tricky thing, carrying a torch for your best friend. And delicacy had never been a strength of hers. She was all honesty and no varnish, too blunt-

Forthright, Red’s voice corrected gently in her head.

--too forthright to be good at playing games and she dreaded what might happen if Red picked up on something bothering her.

I love "all honesty, no varnish" as a description for Ryn, another thing I'm v proud of. I love her hearing Red's voice in her head, correcting her to be kinder about herself while also being honest about what she sees as a shortcoming.

Well, your options are ask him or not go, so if you want to make progress on this case you better get ahold of yourself. You can do this. You are a professional, aren’t you?

Her foot hit something that skittered away with a clattery rasp, breaking through her internal debate. A keen glance after the object revealed only a rusting crowbar, and Xaeryn gave a soft growl of disappointment. Not far from the crowbar, however, something silver and promising glinted from a jumble of discarded paint cans and crate frames half-stacked into a shelter. She shifted the debris enough to reach and found herself holding a fine black leather sheath, dagger-sized, silver tipped and accented. A silver insignia at the top, opposite the beltloop, bore an unfamiliar crest--what looked like crossed lightning bolts or vines surmounted with a sword, or maybe a lance. It was difficult to tell at that scale.

I can't make it too easy on her, or the payoff's no fun :D (Also, I wanted her to go to the library for the Ysa cameo)

She balanced the sheath on a nearby broken crate, pulled out her notebook and a pencil and took a rubbing of the crest. A quick shorthand annotation where she’d found it, and then she started to stash it all in her handbag. It would be a bit of a tight fit, but better than carrying her find where it would raise eyebrows.

Very professional, this gal. Immediately makes a copy of potential evidence, and a note where she found it, takes steps to not draw attention.

Xaeryn paused just before slipping the sheath in her bag. She studied it again, catching her lower lip between her teeth. What if... A quick glance at the wall behind her to ensure it was relatively clean and she leaned against the stone while focusing hard on the small sheath. There might, if this belonged to the green-haired man, be enough trace of the owner left to Scry a clue.

The world fell away in a watery grey roil, clarifying into a scene almost as disorienting as the shift itself. The viewing angle was odd, a blur of motion off-center drawing her attention. It shifted into focus, resolving into a pair of figures mid-scuffle. One was a green-haired man, clothes decent but nondescript aside from currently being mussed by the fight, the other she couldn’t make out beyond a wild beard and the impression of ragged clothes. A street bum maybe? They tussled, each getting in a few good licks, there was a gleam of metal in their grappled hands, then one’s foot caught the sheath, sending it spinning toward its resting place and jolting Xaeryn out of the vision.

By this point in the planning/outlining process, I had solidified Darius and Briony's actual role in the plot(Ryn was actually supposed to talk to them in the museum, when she follows Briony during the gala, but then ch 6 ran away from me BIG TIME and I had to bump it lol), but this being a detective story, I had to keep the suspense up a little longer and be a little vague about whether Mr. Green Hair is one of the bad guys or just Sus™. Scries are fun to write, bc it's a way to give her a little bit of bonus information, especially when it's bonus info with no witnesses she could've talked to. When they work. And I have a reason for the ones that don't. :3

yes i love having cute little details. i'm not sure why but i always pick jungwoo as the cupid—there's just something about him that's giving cupid or like the matchmaker friend kjsdhdf and yes! jaehyun's long eyelashes! they are honestly my favourite little thing about him.

hehe yeah, i read my old fics from time to time. it was the time during covid and i had nothing to do with all the free time i had jkshfdf honestly, i look back and reminisce those times because i was so motivated and i was always writing when i had the time. but nowadays i've been struggling to find the time to write, which is kind of sad lol because there are so many ideas i have occupying my brain but i just don't have the time to sit down and write it :(

describe their canon relationship/dynamic

Oh man... they are just two sweet boys who deserve all the good things in life. They think the world of, truly respect and admire each other. Best cousins fr,, I'm so glad they repaired their strained relationship and found something so meaningful to the both of them to bond over and be passionate about, giving them both so much confidence and new life. They're truly the sweetest, and support each other through thick and thin.

your ideal/headcanon version of it? how does it differ from how it is in canon & why is this your favorite version? any other alternate versions of it you enjoy?

Honestly canon is my ideal version. The miscommunication when Juza first joined Mankai and didn't want anyone to know they were related at first was frustrating, but given how emotionally constipated Juza was at the time and how low Muku's self-esteem was, it makes sense and just made their reconciliation all the more cathartic <3

what do you like about their relationship, why is it interesting or enjoyable to you?

It's just so sweet dude like. They're so insecure but think the other is so cool and they're so alike but have no idea ahsvhsv,, it's so silly!!!

what about the individual characters involved? what does this relationship mean to them, what makes it unique among their relationships?

To Muku, it solidified that he is important as he is, and he doesn't need to be a track star or shoujo prince to have worth. Just knowing he can be an inspiration to someone like Juza, well that's just so cool!!! I think Muku always saw Juza as somewhat unapproachable, and now actively able to reach out to him and help him just by being himself is such a huge honour for him, and not a responsibility he takes lightly. He knows that while Juza is older, Muku has a lot more experience with people and he's willing to help him adjust however he can!!

And Juza thinks the world of his lil cousin, for being so brave and being able to take the steps he always wanted to in order to grow his confidence!! I think it was harder for Juza simply because he was used to isolating himself and never really had the peers Muku had (like in his track team etc.), so that initial step was the hardest but he's so glad he took it, even if it got Banri on his back. He's so incredibly proud of Muku, and doesn't hesitate to tell him that and will always go above and beyond to try to make up for his past misgivings (even if they weren't a huge deal, he wants to make ammends and properly).

favorite interaction they have in canon

After Picturesque closing night, when they told everyone they were cousins and Juza let Muku call him Juchan <3 that melted my heart soo much ue ue ue...

AND for the Beach event, when they reminisced about going to the beach as kids and really opened up to each other properly for the first time,, it was so sweet. It was the first event I played in en, and I was so in love with them just supporting each other.. like they are both so drastically different and yet so similar at the same time and neither of them realise it.

AND THE ONE JUZA SR WHERE HE GETS HIS MOTORCYCLE AND BUYS MUKU A HEMLET AND PROMISES TO TAKE HIM FOR A RIDE ONE DAY... THATS SO PRECIOUS TO ME TOO.

Ngl, I haven't read Phantom Thief yet, I'm so behind ahsvhdv,, so maybe that'll change if/when I read the translation BUT either way those moments mean the world to me i hold them soo gently...

favorite interaction they have in your head/a situation you want to put them in

Honestly, I'd love to see Juza sitting in on a shoujo manga club meeting and them having him act out being a prince. I feel like because Sakyo and Juza are so similar and they're troupemates, Juza would feel comfortable enough to do so even with an extended audience of Kazunari (as long as he promises not to film it and post it to instablam). Like, yknow this one webmanga panel.

I imagine it'd be a lil like that <3 it'd let Juza practice a role he doesn't get to often, and Muku already thinks Juza is so cool, he'd be so enamoured seeing him as a prince!!

I'd also love for the Muku Banri earn cash chat to be real, and Banri teaches Muku to fight. Like we already know Muku can shove Juza to the floor with his strength, boy is Stromg. Like Banri is just training with him in the courtyard and then has to run for his life because Juza is just stood there like 🧍‍♂️ BUT as soon as Banri scrams, Juza'd rush over to Muku and make sure he was okay and Muku would be like, "I'm so sorry Juchan, it's all my fault. I asked him to teach me so i wouldn't be a defenceless wet lettuce leaf..." and then Juza takes him for ice cream <3

i understand your concerns, and in my opinion the best thing to do here is just being honest - as long as you're upfront with telling people that you don't have the energy/will/whatever to answer them immediately or to have long talks i'm sure they'll understand. this situation is not particularly anyone's fault in the end

today i should've studied but i ended up being roped in doing general knowledge quizzes with my best friend lmao — predictably, i killed the literature part and failed basically everywhere else. oh well, who cares :'

I just,,, Itto calling Xiao a little dude, Xiao watching Itto be an absolute dumbass without flinching - Itto definitely reminded him of Bosacious(?), I 100% believe that to be the truth, which is why he knew what was going to happen. (It also explained why Itto was there in the first place honestly.) I mean, Xiao described the other yaksha to be extremely proud, and from the looks of it he was a complete goofball. Who else fits those characteristics? Hm, I wonder,,,

I need more Xiao/Itto content they are absolute gold.

-UERGH WHY DOES VLAD HAVE AN AI WITH MADDIE'S FACE ON IT. SOOO CREEPY. AND MORE 'CREATIONS' waiiiit. vlad is Dr. Frankenstein! (despite his ghost design obviously referencing vampires) HE HAS 'CREATIONS' HE MAKES THEN WONT TAKE REAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR!!! this bitch.

-danny was late and his friends immediately start going off about how hes inconsiderate, and has been treating them like sidekicks??? he just overslept, my god. chill. even if he has, be nicer about talking about it with him?? he really can't help that he sometimes has to chase the ghosts, or has a secret identity to protect...

-'what kind of ghost haunts a miniature golf course' umm. me as a ghost. next question

-imagine going home and theres a tiny child on your bed claiming to be your cousin. with as many cousins I have, I would probably believe her. but the 'ran away from home' BIT....SHES 12?? -vlad sucks: the episode, basically. what's new!! I love how he's like, I'm Not A Villain. *immediately cuts to him torturing danny to make him transform, to get mid-transformation DNA, to perfect a Clone.* *immediately shows that he doesnt give a shit about his new daughter Dani and just wants a ''more perfect clone'' and will put her in danger to get that. will let her DIE to get that*

-Dani is danny's clone and is a girl? transgenderism....one of them has to be trans. or they both are.

-dani just. leaving at the end. WHAT? SHES 12. DONT JUST. NO!!! SHE WAS PROBABLY JUST BORN, A MONTH AGO AT MOST, RIGHT?? SHE NEEDS...SOMEWHERE TO LIVE. MONEY? FOOD?? A FAMILY?? AN EDUCATION???! WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S LEAVING!!! OKAY BYE I GUESS!!! D: concern!!!

-the guys in white are back! ngl, I assumed they were a gag for that one episode. you're telling me they might actually be a threat? ok.

-valerie in her lil nasty burger uniform looks so cute!! glad shes not in that mascot uniform this time. I guess she stopped hiding that she's working there now?

-gregor having white hair, dressed in black and white...and green eyes...sam has a Type, I guess.

-danny being unnecessarily hostile about gregor. danny!!! hes been nice so far. he looks a little...tall to be 14, but. danny doesnt know anything about him! (he does Suspect, but...you cant just spy on people and be rude to them from a hunch.) also, gregor kissed her, and when she freaked out, he was like 'oh no!! sorry, we can take it slow! I understand!' which was NICE. I hate jealousy plots still tho.

-altho. umm. tucker, being concerned about danny spying on them??? SAM AND YOU WERE SPYING ON DANNY AND VALERIE A FEW EPISODES AGO!!!!! im not saying its RIGHT, but dont be a hypocrite!!! AND THEN SAM BEING MAD ABOUT IT, TOO.

-DANNY IS A 7 ON THE SCALE OF ECTOPLASMIC POWER!!! out of 10? so I want to know where the other ghosts rank...I mean it's a list from the guys in white, so, it may not even be accurate, like, they havent seen ALL of his powers, have they?

-Lancer being like 'im not cooperating with the FEDS' until they said they could access his tax records. they already did that joke with jack, but like, its still funny. kings of tax evasion.

-tucker's aggressive third-wheeling. but gregor being super into it. gregor/tucker is the real ship here. then gregor kissing danny on both cheeks after hugging him. bi poly king gregor. (he does turn out to be a liar with a phoney accent. unsurprising, BUT THE CONCEPT OF HIM BEING GENUINE AND THEM ALL DATING IS FUN)

-THE...GUYS IN WHITE THINKING GREGOR IS DANNY PHANTOM. LMAOOO. GET HIS ASS. or,, Elliot. lmfao

-sam saying tucker is part of the package because theyre friends was super sweet <3 but also 'part of the package'...polyships are obviously the solution to these dumb jealousy/love triangle plots.

-THE SICK TATTOO GHOST IS NAMED LYDIA!!! more Lore On her. freakshow seemed genuinely concerned about her. also, is she mute? I don't think she talked the first time we saw her, either. and we didn't know freakshow 'envied' ghosts, either, the first time, we just knew he was controlling them. interesting!

-...they literally stole the infinity gauntlet from marvel and called it the reality gauntlet. is that legal. what the fuck. even with the gems in the lil slots, having different powers...they had freakshow in jail, but didnt check his pockets??! hes just still in his lil outfit??? what kind of ...oh, its in amity park. yeah, all of the adults are idiots, okay, sure.

-'freakshow!' 'in the anemic flesh!' dude take some iron pills then. also, sure, the red eyes could be contacts for his aesthetic, but the whites of his eyes are yellow! does he have jaundice?! he severely needs more...like, every kind of vitamin. (this is what im worried about as freakshow attacks danny with giant robots)

-again, goth circus is a sick theme, and I love his goth train.

-oh FUCK every single person saw danny transform. on a stage. including his parents via TV. oh god. the guys in white and immediately like 'youre coming in for experiments!' SCARY. at least the crowd is willing to help him to escape...perks of now being a local celeb! even the kids at school are accepting :) this is what, the third time his family has found out? its always been an alt timeline tho. and danny fully intending to just rewrite things again instead of...I dunno, trying to roll with it this time? hes really worried his family won't accept him, huh...

-'maybe our son IS THE GHOST BOY, but its not as if our family's ghostly activities have EVER PUT YOUR FAMILIES IN DANGER' maddie. mmmmmmmmmmmm. okay.

-danny 100% prepared to run away from home because of this :( oh :( and saying his parents are 'looking for him, or a scalpel to dissect him with' ouch...

-THE GUYS IN WHITE TRYING TO ARREST A 14 YEAR OLD. fuck da feds.

-side note (another one about voice actors...) freakshow's voice actor, Jon Cryer, was lex luthor in pretty much every DC tv show, which is why I recognized his voice, because my dad loves those shows so I've seen a good bit of them without seeking them out...)

-the old man saying 'hey, i still had minutes left!' and danny saying 'you gotta watch those roaming charges!' about danny destroying the people in the diner's phones so no one could report seeing him...would kids today understand these things. can you even BUY minutes anymore...I remember my first phone being a flip phone, and the fact I always had minutes when my sister ran out super fast, because I didnt have friends calling or texting me like she did...:/

-the fentons being genuinely like 'why didnt danny trust us and tell us this, we love him :(' and JAZZ LAYING INTO THEM WITH THE 'DISSECTION/MOLECULE BY MOLECULE' LINES. LITERALLLLY. they need to apologize

-technically, lydias stronger than you! -jazz lesbianism moments! when did you even learn her name!!! but also get freakshows ass. lydia is also cooler looking. looove her design sm still.

-jazz psychoanalyzing freakshow... (also, her also having ghost envy? au where jazz is a ghost!! id like to see it)

-im glad the kids still got to go to their respective vacation things, even if they cant really stick around and enjoy them much...

-furry: confirmed. (also tucker calling her hot. tucker is a furry confirmed)

-danny being mad someone at the comic con is selling comics of him without permission, lmfao. give him his royalties!

-freakshow > thanos because hes a drama clown and does use his gauntlet to be FLASHY AND DRAMATIC.

-jazz's 'USE PYSCOLOGY' to danny about freakshow LMAOO. AND THEN IT WORKING. but, oh, freakshow's ghost form sucks. I like him as a clown better tbh. good thing danny took away his ghost powers!

-his parents hugging him and saying theyre proud :"( and saying 'of course you lied to us, we never gave you a reason not to!' and saying they were in the wrong basically for always talking about hurting ghosts aaaa :""(

-then he WIPED THEIR MEMORIES AGAIN!!! FUCK. I can understand him wiping the goverments/student bodies' memories, but why his parents?? they were being accepting!! ARGHHH. season 3 couldve been them all trying to adjust to them knowing!

-I know, on a meta level the showrunners probably wanted to just reset things to the status quo of him having a secret identity. But. We've been doing that for (2) seasons, I'd love if season 3 could be like, his parents adjusting to this and trying way harder to learn more and accept it (and the shenanigans that could come from that) and for fun, if he didn't wipe the students memories, it could be him being popular for a while, then everyone slowly realizing, oh, he's still Danny. Like. he might have ghost powers but hes Just The Same Guy instead of putting him on a pedestal (and seeing them all try and help him hide it from the giw/people who don't know!!)

-fuck they didn't even explain WHY he wiped everyone except sam, tucker and jazz's memories. he just Did It right when his parents were saying they loved/accepted him!! and sam and tucker didnt question it at all!!! HELLO??? very annoyed about this turn of events.

-anyway. onto season 3! I know its shorter than the first two seasons, and is the last season... I might just do it in 2 bursts if I can... :3c depends on the episodes' content and how much I want to say about each!

Fine Line because she's my baby and I always write my ass off for her. although a close runner up is probably I Hate You So Much cos i've had people tell me they consider it canon and that's just gvljaslkdjskdj surreal to me 🥺

Work you're least proud of and why:

it's still not my least favourite piece of mine but of the ones i wrote in 2021, i'm probably least proud of No Drug Like Me. don't get me wrong, i'm proud of the writing out of the context of the series. but it'd been a while since i re-read the series when i wrote it so i feel like even though it supposedly takes place in Elfhame, it doesn't match the tone or characterisation as well as some of my other works.

Share or describe a favourite review you received:

there have been a few that have been like "are you Holly Black incognito?" or "this fic is canon for me" or "your writing is beautiful, i hope to read a book from you someday" and those always make me smile really fucking big :') but there's this one that i'll always remember that was like "i was trying to remember a scene from the series the other day and i spent so long trying to find it in my copies of the books and then i remembered the scene was from this fic" and i sobbed a lil ngl

A time when writing was really, really hard:

A scene or character you wrote that surprised you:

i think the fact that i was able to convincingly(?) write an explicit scene from the first person POV of a dude lmao. 2 years ago i thought i'd never write an explicit scene point blank period. so the fact that i was able to pull that off is a bit shocking but in the best way :')

How did you grow as a writer this year?

i think i focused a lot on bettering my dialogue, which is probably the thing i'm least confident about when it comes to writing.

How do you hope to grow next year?

i want to stop being so perfectionistic. i'd rather have a "good e-fucking-nough" attitude and actually finish some of the works i've started (there are so so many) than feel overwhelmed by the prospect of writing cos "it has to be better than the last one".

Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer?

everyone who has ever left me a comment or ask who encouraged me even when i wasn't posting anything for a while. i love you.

Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year?

i think every writer draws from their experiences to some capacity. emotions, small things they see or smell or hear on the street. i can't think of super specific examples of this, but i mean Fine Line is a wholeass panini fic so there's that.

Any new wisdom you can share with other writers?

this is an old bit of advice but it really came to light for me this year: you create what you consume.

Any projects you're looking forward to starting/finishing this year?

there are so many chapter updates that have over 3000 words that i just haven't finished. my goal this year is to finish those and come up with some sort of schedule for juggling all my WIPs lmao

ngl random thought but i hope people cheirsh and see my passion for peace and equality at times. not trying to come off as a 'oh I'm the best u should listen to me cuz ik what's wrong and right' no. I'm not a saint. I'm 16 and i still don't know shit about the world but i still want what's best for everyone even if it hurts some. by 'hurts some' i mean privileged people who only want goods for themselves and other privileged people. I'm not racist nor ableist nor do i hate people who belive in religion. still, I'm not a saint because i have shamed people in the past and sometimes it manages to get the best of me even to this day and i end up shaming and making fun of people. i still want to keep being better and uplift people for whatever the world rejected them for yk? and shit i have said sm shit about christianity and nothing justifies it. i can't make up the excuse that i used to be forced into religion blah blah christians did this christians did that. nah it can't be excused at this point but that's what I'm fighting for now. i want every race, every gender, every religion, every sex, every everything to be equal in their own pace. truly, we can't be equal on the same pages because some things work different ways but i hope that every judgement and bad thought and bad doing be erased from our lil ol planet. i mean yea I'm white and atheist and i have a wealthy and normal family who i get along with but shit once i grow up and can control the wealth i make on my own, i want to use it for goods. i hope I'll get rid of the internal homophobia, racism, ableism and whatevers left in me and point out the right even if it 'embarasses' me. shit i don't really care about social standards anymore nor what people have to say about me. if i did something wrong, i made sure to teach myself to forgive and forget and apologize. i finally put my pride away and honestly it changes a person so much. I'm no better than anyone and nor do i ever want anyone to call me that or compare me to anyone but shit the only thing i admit is a better character in me is that I've stopped judging everything and everyone around. if i don't like a person, it's my personal problem like shit i don't have to make an announcement to everyone about it. i truly hope that some people notice that in me bc i actually did work for it to get out of me. I'm glad i found my own style and my own thoughts and that I've stopped caring what others want me to be. idk why am i even typing this all out but from the bottom of my heart i can truly say that i love the new me, i WILL keep improving but I'm so proud of myself for even getting here and setting a new state of mind for the future. I'm not better than anyone yet again but i am me. and that's what makes me stand out. I'm happy with myself and i hope one day people will sit down for a week straight and teach themselves good. I've yet only noticed how much it not only changes a person, but eventually everyone around them and then the world. i hope i can lead people to be better internally and outerly (if that's even a word but yk what i mean) there's so much positivity in the world we've yet to use and spread. it gets better.

EDIT: this was from my notes not a while ago and i just wanted to share it in general even if i don't have a big following platform on here. i hope anyone takes at least 2 mins to read it and that they, as mentioned, give themself a week or just a few days to reflect on themselves to become better for themselves and for the world :)

Day 3: i dont have a specific one but thigh gaps🗣🗣🗣

Day 4: im afraid i might become too skinny to look good dancing

Day 5: because i hate the way my body looks esp my thighs i can only wear loose pants or skirts, whenever i wear leggings to dance class i have to wear a big tshirt or hoodie to cover them bc it looks weird otherwise

Day 6: yes i do theres a lot of times where im feeling empty but like emotionally n not physically and so i-

Day 7: idk tbh ion talk to them

Day 8: i have none im lying in bed all day

Day 9: often enough, even now they dont stfu abt it

Day 10: uhm idk

Day 11: don't have one

Day 12: small portion of anything my parents cook for lunch and whatever tf i feel like snacking on till evening

Day 13: i have an eating disorder. healthier than before tho im rarely purging

Day 14: my ugw is 40kgs and im expecting to reach it by graduation if possible,, so 1¼yrs left

Day 15: i would def want to turn vegan but my parents don't want me to🤪 i've cut out red meat tho and tbh i feel sm better since i did and i have sm less to binge on since my fam are red meat lovers and so i did lose weight by cutting that out.

Day 16: somewhere in 6th grade

Day 17: yes🥳

Day 18: cakes, fruit, or anything with sesame seeds

Day 19: its been quite a while idk maybe 2-3 months ago

Day 20: don't have one since i didnt get to try many

Day 21: i could easily fit xs but i prefer s and m unless it's skirts

Day 22: lw was 42,9kg i gained bc my digestive system was fucked from all the purging and if i didnt purge id gain like rly fast but i didnt have the energy to purge anymore so that stressed me out which then led to a binge cycle and boom i gained double of what i lost

Day 23: not really until i found those diet/fitness youtubers which motivated me to work on it

Day 24: the meaning's all twisted and ppl still argue abt it but im just seeing it as a tag where i can get motivation for myself idk

Day 25: countless times, i read it was hard to purge first time and so i was worried i might take a while and everyone in the house would hear but then i thought fuck it and went for it n it actually wasnt bad---

Day26: seeing the number and also the way i might look at that weight

Day 27: i either binge or it makes me sick just looking at it

Day 28: i absolutely do simply bc that means i have worked hard enough and also my thighs wont touch anymore which is >>>>>

Day 29: beauty is whatever u decide it to be for yourself

Day 30: 46,9kg still the same height

1) i love to dance

2) im ace

3) i love hugs and holding hands n all that stuff but my brain decides who im comfortable with doing that (bitch is very selective) and often its ppl that i'll never be close with and it makes me sad

4) im a math enjoyer and proud

5) i love riddles and figuring stuff out on my own

6) i play genshin and im a kazuha main

7) im into kpop and my ult group is onf

8) i have a hard time telling apart romantic and platonic so its always nice if the other person makes clear where we stand

9) i have ednos, 100% pain and suffering, 0% weightloss

10) im nonbinary

n e ways so like the day after this post i came out to my oldest cousin who i used to be close with when we were kids but like we rarely talk anymore? and after i did, we talked (over msger) for 2 days and that was really nice (under the cut; just me talking about the convo i had with him and how i felt/feel)

and he asked me a lot of stuff that i was kinda uncomfy about answering but in a good way - like, isome of the q's made me hfvjvk bc i just wasnt used to talking about relos but it was really good for me and i didn't know if he was kinda making fun of me/didn't believe me/humouring me because he asked how i knew i was bi and it kinda made me a lil sad at first because we back and forthed a bit with "how do you know you like girls if youve never dated anyone" "i can counter that with how do i know i even like guys" "then i can counter that with how do you know you're even attracted to gender" (implying i might be pan, which i found a pretty valid point ngl) and i ended up telling him that "i think at the end of the day, i'm comfortable w saying that i'm romantically interested in both boys and girls and am currently comfortable w saying i'm bi" and i said that at the end of the day, it didn't really matter bc you feel what you feel and you do what you want with those feelings so it's whatever?? and he was like "haha yeah, you're right" and then he almost made me cry because he said he's proud of me for acknowledging my thougths and feelings, and said he was happy i could be honest with him???????? and im like. gonna cry typing this man. but like idk i just. apart from being able to talk to him again, i'm just so happy that he responded the way he did???? and he said that i'll be okay as long as i do whatever i feel and don't worry what others think of me. and he didn't encourage me to come out to my parents but he encouraged me to be comfortable and myself and like. unafraid and all of this just means so much and my lack of paragraphs and structuring is annoying me so much but i dont have anyone else to tell all of this too and whenever i've felt iffy these days i just think about my convo w him and i feel better and im so thankful abfshJFJBhj

idk like this just made me feel so so so valid and it makes me so happy.

omg this was hard. i’m very bad at remembering what i’ve written, so i had to do some digging to find a scene i’m genuinely proud of. (maybe it’s my own bias but my yoongi fics’ dialogue kinda hit differently?????)

"Why are you even here again?"

You pause. Actually, why are you here? You could've just simply walked away and never had this conversation with Yoongi. But you'd stopped. And now you're talking with him. You answer him truthfully. "I really have no idea."

Another pause.

"Are you gonna ask me to leave?"

"... No."

"Oh." You cock your head. "Okay."

The two of you stare at each other. A staring game commences.

But Yoongi blinks first, claiming you the victor of the little contest. "You can stay if you want."

You scoff. "Excuse me, I didn't know I needed your permission."

Yoongi throws his hands up in the air. "Do you always have to fucking pick a fight?"

"You're the one who starts them!"

"I didn't even say anything mildly rude."

originally, i was gonna pick an angstier quote, but i’m actually quite proud of this scene!! i think it really encompasses the ‘enemies’ portion of enemies to lovers, all the while hinting at something more (especially with yoongi suggesting that oc can stay with him)

LOL the angstiest idea i’ve ever come up with??? HOW CAN I CHOOSE? at first, i was like, the exam. because, i mean, it’s sad. but then?? i was like... okay but don’t look back... but then no, because i totally forgot about where the colors fade. and then i thought about it some more and realized a whole ass before the looking glass exists. in conclusion, there is no conclusion 💀 especially because my angstiest idea is still in my drafts 👀👀

all three writers are so, so talented!! i really appreciate writers who write angst—but the angst is so angsty that you can literally feel the words rip your heart in two 😩their plots, characterizations, obvious eloquence are just a fEW of their best qualities. you can find a lot of their fics on my recs page

V. If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

shit that’s hard. i’m not a huge fan of sequels or prequels so it took a while for me to come up with some ideas LOL. my number one choice, however, would be the sequel to game of temptation, by kina! i’m super invested in that universe, and ever since i finished reading it, i always wondered how the future events would actually play out
