Hello! yes it's absolutely ok to ask me anything! (asks are always a delight to get, it makes me very happy to see people interested in my stuff!) And they're not odd or annoying at all, I get to ramble about Subcon now hehehe here we go

1: Well Vanessa's powers are the same as in she can freeze things and create ice. However it's a bit less intense as it's harder to completely freeze the entire body of water around you. It has much less effect than the base game, mostly just covering the surface of any structure she's touching/standing on with ice, and when the 'everyone dying' thing happens the only thing that actually gets covered in ice directly is the manor and the area around it.

2: Now you might be thinking if only the manor froze, how did everyone die? So first we're gonna have a brief fun science time :D

so here's the fun thing about freezing seawater: then it freezes, it releases salt particles to the water around it, which creates this extra salty, dense and absolutely freezing saline water. And when it interacts with nonfrozen, regular seawater it creates... you guessed it, more ice! (I'm not an expert on this stuff or anything though so take it with a grain of.....ʰᵉʰᵉʰᵉ salt) So what basically happened is that 1) the manor froze, 2) which made the entire area around it freezing saline water, 3) which met with the rest of subcon and dropped the temperature of it significantly along with creating a whole lot of ice everywhere. Which... probably wasn't the best thing for anyone living in it. I mean, imagine you're living your best life and all of a sudden the temperature just. DROPS. like 50 degrees. yeah I don't think your body is gonna react to that well (at the very least send you into cold shock), and I imagine it would be way worse for cold- blooded fishfolk.

other than that are changes not that important to the story (the prince's chains are different, stuff like that), aand that's about it! ty for asking and wishing me a nice day :D have a great one as well

i imagine he would get flustered really easily, especially through physical touch. he probably isn't used to much physical affection, so once he gets it, it hits him harder than it would otherwise. it might take him a moment to process it, but once he does, it hits him like a truck. it would affect him a great deal, he'd think about those moments for a long time.

he would express his love through how he generally acts around you and doing things for you. i think he'd struggle with showing affection physically and with words, so he would do other subtle things to show that he loves you! maybe he puts something important on hold because he cares about you, or maybe he goes out of his way to remember tiny details about you, maybe he gives you something that reminds him of you! he would also help you do things that you might struggle with, whether it's a heavy amount of work or simply cleaning ur room :-] he wouldn't be judgemental at all either way, he'd be more than happy to help you.

he would have a much easier time opening up and being more vulnerable around you. he trusts you a lot! he isn't scared of showing his emotions around you :-] and on the other hand, if you opened up to him, he would do his best to help you and give you advice on whatever it is you need help with. he would be very patient and understanding with you, especially with his background knowledge on mental health!

there would be moments he'd ramble about what he likes about you. maybe he says something and worries if he came off as blunt or hurtful, so he'd try making up for it by complimenting you! then he would snowball into thoughtlessly talking about why and how he likes you and would get very embarrassed once he realizes what he's doing. oopsies !

if you're a psychic u bet he would telepathically talk to you, like all the time. he would give you little secret messages and send you comments that only You are allowed to hear. like whispering but to the max. he might poke fun at what's going on sometimes when he doesn't want anyone else to hear, too. i think he actually has a pretty good sense of humor and likes to joke around! he just has a deadpan delivery and others might not get his jokes at times. but yes he's silly and will be silly around you

overall he would deeply care about you and your well-being and would want the best for you. he would go out of his way to make life easier for you. he has so much love to share and to give 😁💚

OH ABSOLUTELY theyd be fun!! im really really open to most ships (yeah, even the toxic ones, even the problematic ones, etc etc, its fiction, rezero is ripe with a Ton of complicated character dynamics, i'll find the relationship interesting if theres narrative depth/potential behind it - just to make that clear :o !! i obviously do not condone that irl of course).

but yeah anyway!! yes definitely i think elsa/reinhard would be fun. you could explore it in all sorts of ways - i mean, elsa's the vampire here, reinhard's a monster for. various reasons. theres also other details like how. um. well reinhard's Immortal, so that means Infinite Guts for elsa!! and i think reinhard would be happy to at least make Someone happy T^TT he'd be like "i can just give the bowel hunter my guts over and over again and she'll be nice to me and not kill anyone else also unless theyre very very bad people? good deal :) new friend!!" or something LMAO. dudes starved for company and uh you could interpret elsas reaction in different ways. i feel like i dont know her that much atm though but i think she'd be amused yeah. i mean. infinite guts.... she gets the sword saint..... they can fight each other whenever also :)... and also meili likes the guy (she literally has a sword saint doll) so. its win win. elsa could be going "i could make him A Bit worse :)" and reinhard could be going "i could fix her :) ooh new little sister too!!" or something lajdflsjf. sorry im mentioning meili a lot when this is an elsa/reinhard ask but shes important okay. elsa-meili are a package deal and meili would have an Interesting dynamic with reinhard.

Something. alright. a lot of trauma to go around!! they can bond over that T^T and i think elsa and meili would have. Interesting Reactions with reinhard... the pristine powerful hero is actually powerless? thats. sad. and pathetic. and sad. but hey..... he can join the dark side too. and help us maybe... if that makes sense hah. im just spitballing ideas here pfft.

but yeah in all seriousness itd be interesting T^T maybe they could make their own weird uncanny dysfunctional trio together hah. they all got. Weird Stuff going on because they all have issues with intimacy also for Various Reasons and in Various Different Ways, so thatd be interesting to explore too!! i think theyd make each other simultaneously better and worse!! and also reinhard is. 1000% giving up those guts to elsa i dont see any other way this is going. depending on where you wanna take this though she might want like. 18. Their opinion on lying, stealing, and killing?

He has done all ofthese and is doing all of them still more or less on the regular with his line of work.

Lying comes easier to him than he'd like to admit and in a way it's become a means for him to survive in a world that he doesn't feel like he fits in well. He is very confident in himself, his abilities, who he is as a person. But he doesn't trust easily, he doesn't like a lot of the people he's dependent on or has to deal with on a daily basis, and he's well aware he's not nearly as intimidating as he'd like to be. So he puts on a charming yet cunning mask and lies through his teeth if need be, to gain the trust of the people he needs to further his own goals, and to hide his own fears and weaknesses to avoid getting hurt or used himself. That leads to all kinds of fun guilty feelings where, if he's had to keep this facade up for a while, he wonders if he can really trust anyone at all anymore, if everyone all the time is lying and faking it as much as him, and if anyone or anything is truly still genuine, including himself. Does he really like being friends with Judy, River, Panam, Kerry, or is he just "automatically" befriending them for his personal gain? So yeah... he does not mind lying as such if it gets him where he needs to be, but it's a two-sided sword where he wishes it wasn't really necessary that he lied so much all the time (and thankfully, with the aforementioned and a few other close friends, his urge to lie subsides the better he gets to know them).

Stealing on the other hand he has a lot less complex feelings about. It's part of his job, he's good at it, no one else would bat an eye whether or not he'd be upset about getting stolen from, why should he? He never had to steal to survive, as in, steal food from a store. I think stealing data or information etc. he'd regard as no big deal and... to him it's the victims' own fault for not investing in better security measures. Cracking a code or breaching a system's security measures gives him a weird sense of accomplishment and he's good at this kind of stuff. Stealing physical things, well... Ask Jackie how that went that one time (although I'm gonna die on the hill that the Konpeki Heist failure was mostly Dex' fault, not V's, Jackie's, or T-Bug's XD)

Killing is something Vince actually does not enjoy, has never, will never. He tries to avoid physical altercations as best as he can, take out enemies in sneaky ways rather than with lethal force. He had to kill for Arasaka, traitors, spies, although as he rose in ranks he more and more would've delegated these tasks to subordinates (but then again, as Jenkins climbed the career ladder similarly, he delegated his own hitjobs to V instead...). If he can avoid it, he will avoid killing, because something about it just does not sit right with him, and I think if he's not in an extremely tight spot for money he'd also usually decline the Fixer's hitjobs or only take on those where there's a potential other solution to the clients' problems than death.

34. How would your character describe themselves? it doesn't have to line up with how they really are.

Tying this in a bit with my previous points on Vince's lying habits... this highly depends on who he's describing himself to. Potential new client? "I'm the best Night City has to offer, a professional with references, here's my list of amazing skills. Oh, all these problems you mention? They're no problems at all. Trust me. I will come up with a waterproof plan, I have the means, the connections, the equipment. You won't regrets this." (while internally he is cursing about how stupid of an idea this person's gig is, he knows he'll have to do this alone because no one else would be dumb enough, but on the other hand, the client could have [important piece of information or other thing] he despereately needs so, fuck it... he'll figure something out, he's good at that at least).

I think in general to people he doesn't know or wants something off of he would be over-confident and a little boastful, describe himself as competent etc etc even if not all of it is the case. What matter is that he gets what he wants in the end in these scenarios - money, a boost of reputation and streetcred, information, sex, drugs, whatever.

If he had to describe himself to someone he cares about or trusts... He'd focus more on what interest him, what he likes and dislikes, all still somewhat superficial though. He's confident and unashamed of his past and wishes, but yeah... Things like "I'm really scared of dying alone and being forgotten" wouldn't make it into a description of himself, he'd just omit all his insecurities and polish what he considers strengths. He'd probably describe himself as someone you can trust (but only if he trusts you or needs you, but he'd omit that), pretty down to earth (he's not, and Judy would call him out on it at every opportunity), level-headed (when in fact he can just hide and control his panic in tense moments very well) and yeah... something like that xD He'd be fine with being described as an opportunist, an optimistic realist, cause those two apply. He's sarcastic and creative, and not someone who can easily sit still, always needs something to do, a bit of a workaholic for sure.

Oh yeah I was listening to this album again while sewing I think. Been really enjoying putting on Seether albums while I do art stuff. I actually only started listening to them properly this year soley bc i saw their name on a friend's fursona refsheet and was like 'oh i should listen to them more' and now i do :)

Currently watching: Two things mainly;

I'm currently binging and trying to get up to date on Viva La Dirt League's NPC D&D campaign, the vldl crew are friends of my work and the DM for this games (Rob Hartley) dm'd the game that Aestereoth first debuted in. But also this series is literally the only dnd series I can watch/stomach. It isnt just 4hr podcasts every week. They're nice snippy 30 min episodes with cutaways to them acting out the scenes they played. It's SO FUNNY and i love these guys a lot :3 can't wait to catch up so i can draw them finally haha

Secondly is my partner and I are watching thru all of Card Captor Sakura!! :D They watched the localised version as a kid so it's important to them but they hadn't seen the unedited japanese version ever so we get to watch it for the first time together. It's just so cute and wholesome and silly and jkahsdkjahd good comfy anime. Fucked up in places like all good anime should be but like overall... 10/10 snuggle anime.

Current obsession: nothing currently :'( kinda why i havent been drawing much. Been spending most of my time doing other stuff like hanging with friend's/partners and working on my dance stuff. 💞what's the most important part of a story for you? the plot, the characters, the worldbuilding, the technical stuff (grammar etc), the figurative language..

OH THIS IS HARD----

honestly?? I love it all! in terms of writing i enjoy every part of it. but i do think characters are honestly the most important part of a story because without them you've got nothing. they're how the reader comes to understand the story, they're what moves the story along, they're the people you get to know and love and connect with. you can have stories that focus on the setting or the message it's trying to convey and those are always great, but without good characters the audience won't be able to experience said world in a compelling way.

💎why is writing important to you?

lots of reasons!!!! it's a way for me to engage with a piece of media i love - either to fix something that i didn't like about it (i will never forgive the sga writers for killing my favourite character) or to write missing scenes or just as a starting point for my own story! i also tend to get lots of ideas for scenes and stuff (when i say 'get ideas' I really mean 'am plagued by them') and i literally have to write them or they won't go away. also it's a way of being creative that's different to when i draw, and i find it easier to sit down and write than draw for whatever reason. but yeah it's a big part of my life and i don't want to stop doing it :)

So I know I said that I was going to lean a lot more into the existential horror of her situation with Spare, but I'm starting to think I might be too good at it because I am genuinely starting to feel sorry for her and feel like a monster for what I'm doing to her. Heck when thinking through on the implications of a few things I even had thoughts of "wait but that would mean...oh jeez". Which I think k is a sign of good horror writing but I'm a very empathic person so I feel really bad for her.

One of the things that I realized is that she never learned how to learn. I know that sounds like nonsense but it is a real thing in early childhood development. All of her knowledge is just uploaded into her brain and covers everything Arceus thinks she should know. Info important to her mission and stuff a little girl should know. If she ever needs to know something that Arceus didn't consider he just updates her. A scene early on has her realize that she doesn't know how to tie her shoes. Arceus just gives her full knowledge of shoes so that in a second she goes from "not being able to tie them" to "could probably make a designer shoe with the right tools and materials".

So yeah her only frames of reference for knowledge and skills is "nothing" and "master" because Arceus went for overkill because why not? As such she has a hard time grasping different levels of knowledge and competence from various people because she herself has never experienced the gradual growth and understanding of learning something new.

Naturally this makes interactions with other people hard. It also means that for any knowledge she doesn't have that Arceus didn't give her she has no frame of reference for learning. No understanding of trial and error, building foundational information and working up from fundamentals, etc. She has to learn that learning is a thing.

And that's just one of many things that are wrong with her creation. Another is that she doesn't feel that human life has any inherent value so there is definitely going to be a scene where she tries to kill villains and someone has to stop Spare before she does so. Because she literally doesn't understanding why she shouldn't kill them.

You also mentioned that hopefully Spare's mother could be of help to her? Hoo boy, Spare has enough mother issues to spontaneously resurrect Sigmund Freud. For starters Spare doesn't really view her as her mother but as a victim whose life was rewritten against her will in order to accommodate Spare like some sort of parasite. Spare also feels guilt at her mother loving her because she knows it is artificial and that she has no choice but to love her. At the same time she wants to embrace that love and compassion (because Spare is ultimately a scared kid in over her head even if she can't understand that) but tying into the previous points that makes her feel guilty because she feel like doing so would take advantage of the poor woman for her own selfish reasons.

The more I go on the more I feel like Spare would look at WIP Cream's situation and ultimately go "Wow, wish I was put together that well."

the new chapter was so good I love love love all the sand duo were getting

wilbur has been having a really hard time with his faith and honestly tommy isnt helping much so im glad phil is there

phil was slowly learning a lot of concerning stuff about wilbur and his past already, but now he got to learn how fucking young wilbur is (which probably changed his whole view on him, he was starting for a long time and theres definitely a difference on what wilbur being very young implies about all his behaviour compared to if he were like phils age)

while he already knew that wilbur was questioning stuff I think he only now learned how big of a toll its having on his mental state and how much he bases his worth on being a good pythia and that (plus brainwashing) is where his "faith" is mostly coming from

and phil being phil is very good at handling it, respectfully, carefully and with honest care about wilburs wellbeing and wants/needs

bc lets be honest while I love tommy to pieces with all his flaws he isnt being the best for wilburs questioning stuff, bc he tends to assume a lot and push wilbur too much sometimes

and now idk how intentional the contrast with clara religion stuff was but actually clearly showing wilbur that their worshiping of kristin isnt bad was very important for wilbur to realise that a)their religion isnt wrong and b) worship can be nice/happy like that

anyway to sum this up it makes me so happy that phil is there and wilbur has him and phil is helping and being an attached basically parent already and im obsessed with all of your sand duo content in general you nail it so well every time while still having it be different, youre a sand duo genius bones

yeah the thing is phil's guesstimate for wilbur's age has been slowly sliding down since he first got to the temple, but even then 22 was still younger than he was expecting, and yeah, it definitely changed his view of wilbur to say the least

and of course that ties into wilbur's self worth issues regarding his value as the pythia. phil now gets it because, oh yeah, he was 12 when he was put in this position and now he's only 22 of course he's fucked up in the head because of it

yeah this isn't phil's first rodeo. tommy doesn't know how to handle situations like these, while phil definitely has a better idea of how to help. so while tommy and wilbur have developed this really close bond that's forced wilbur to connect with his own humanity a lot faster than he would have otherwise, it's also not great in the long run at all.

oh I definitely wanted to compare and contrast a bit of the clara and kristin worship stuff by showing how phil prays to kristin, especially regarding the blood sacrifice. because it sounds scary, but it's not. it's a beautiful moment of connection for phil and his goddess.

What is being angel kin like!! For you and also what does it seem like it’s typically like for others

ah ty for asking! it got super long so im putting it below a read more lol

ok for me its... a bit complicated? like, i know im an angel, both physically and mentally. that's just a fact to me. fuck its harder to describe than i thought... ok. so like, it can definitely be looked at as trauma put through the lens of jewish ideas of angels? its an inherent identity and one ive had for as long as i can remember but thats a decent way to explain it i suppose. i wont go crazy trying to describe it but the main points i connect with are the ways angels are created, and the idea that humans are holier and closer to HaShem than angels. angels are one-dimensional, they have no free will, and were created by HaShem to do one specific task, or created from the actions of a human. Humans on the other hand are multifaceted, they are given the choice to listen or not, the human soul is capable of emotions and like serves HaShem in many ways etc etc. the human soul is a piece of HaShem, where angels are a mere creation. this is all a very basic and rough/bad explanation of the religious stuff so forgive me for that. i think the religious aspect of this is important to me for sure, but a big part of it is how those truths tie into my own life and perception of myself. i wont go super into my trauma details but it made me feel like i was created solely to follow rules in service of humans (not rly in a positive way), and like i'm inherently lesser than them down to my very soul.

and for others in the community, idk i just mostly see posts talking in flowery language about feeling holy and pure and protecting humanity and stuff. all of the aesthetics are gold/white/soft, lots of flowing fabrics, classical music, poetry, love, beautiful things. it all feels very rooted in that to me? i dont identify with p much any of those things. thats not what being an angel looks/feels like to me. its grey, difficult, kind of ugly, lonely in a darker way. i could probably go into better detail about how that all feels when my brain isnt quite so mushy. but yeah so when i see anything i start to identify with more, it falls more into demonkin or fallen angel stuff, but neither of those is true for me. maybe im just the odd man out here? who knows.

another big part of it is the emphasis on christianity & solely focusing on being an angel from that lens. as a jew, that doesnt work for me lol, there are just deep fundamental differences in how we view angels/G-d/humans/heaven/etc. its easy to connect over the physical parts of this (phantom wings, etc), but yeah its been hard for me to find anything i really connect with about the identity part.

i could fully be misinterpreting or not seeing the parts of the community i'd connect with better. but as of right now this has been my experience! i would absolutely Love to hear from other angels about their experience with their identities and the community and stuff.

Summary: Y/n is on a mission to get that good geek D OR, Demetri tutors the reader. Reader sees it fit to pay him back.

A/n: Definitely not my finest piece of work but I had to let it out of me (: its my first smut. can you tell?

Standing in the crowded hallway, Y/n scanned the crowd of students until her eyes set on her target.

“Demetri!!!!”

Demetri was visibly startled, not used to having his name screamed out like that, surely not by a girl – most definitely not by Y/n. Y/n was one of the most popular girls in school and having her call for him, so publicly no less, made Demetri's cheeks flush.

They had been hanging out almost daily lately after a teacher suggested Y/n ask Demetri to tutor her in algebra, a subject she hated until the memory of it started tying itself with the lanky black haired boy.

At first they would study in the library but after quickly becoming friendly, the study sessions moved to either ones house. As time progressed Y/n began finding that she would find excuses in the guise of studying to seek Demetri out during the day, just to talk to him about anything at all.

Although she did use their study sessions to... well, study, Y/n couldn't help when her mind would wander elsewhere occasionally. When they'd both be perched on her bed, house empty but them, nothing but books between them... Y/n would lay a hand on Demetri's thigh, or sit a bit closer than necessary, waiting for Demetri to pick up on the hint; he never did.

It was time to take matters in to hands.

“Hey!” Y/n called as she caught up to Demetri. “Look!”

Y/n held up her latest algebra test, showing off a big B+ circled in red.

Demetri's eyes widened in surprise, his smile genuine. “That's amazing! I told you you'll do great!” he lay a shy hand on Y/n's bicep. It wasn't enough. Unashamed, Y/n held up her arms for a hug he couldn't deny.

Standing on her tippy toes, she held Demetri tight to her for a moment. “Seriously, thank you.”

She could swear it wasn't her imagination when Demetri was reluctant to let go.

Y/n slid her arms from around his neck to hold his shoulders. “Are you free today?”

Demetri thought; he was supposed to help Sam and Mr LaRusso fix up some stuff at the dojo but seeing as it was Y/n asking, looking up at him with her big e/c eyes and perfectly painted lips, he figured he could clear his schedule. “Uh, yeah.”

“Great. Could I come over? I wanna go over my mistakes, if that's okay with you.”

Of course it was okay. Demetri was crushingly disappointed once Y/n took the test and stopped meeting him every day, any excuse to spend time with her was more than welcome.

Even if he was still too cowardly to make a move.

“Yeah, sure. My parents should be working late today so, come by any time.”

“Okay,” Y/n bit her lip and brushed her hands off his shoulders. “I'll see you in a bit.”

Hours later, Y/n found herself in Demetri's painfully on-brand room. Closing the door after her she clicked the door to lock, even though it was just them in the meantime. She unhooked her bag from her shoulder, leaving it by the door.

Looking from the bag to her, Demetri asked, “What did you get wrong, anyway?”

“Oh, about that,” Y/n replied bashfully, slowly making her way closer to the boy, her hips swaying purposefully with each step. “I don't really care about the mistakes. I mean, sure, it's important and all, but...” Y/n reached Demetri, standing toe to toe with him. She reached her hand to grab the hem of his t-shirt, watching her fingers as she played with it – Demetri watching her. “I just wanted to get you alone. I never actually got to repay the favour, or say thank you.”

Suddenly looking up, Demetri found the girls face achingly close to his. If only he would lean down and close the gap... his mouth went dry.

“So,” Y/n eyes met Demetri's. Getting on to her toes, hands propping herself up on his abdomen, Demetri felt her breath on his lips as she next spoke. “Thank you.” With that, she closed the gap.

Demetri felt fireworks go off within him. The one girl he had been pining over for so long was finally his. Instinctively, he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer.

Y/n let her hands climb around his neck, one holding on to his hair as she kissed him deeper. Demetri briefly wondered if this might really just be her way of saying thank you, as unconventional as it may be – but once he felt Y/n's soft tongue searching for his, he decided to take what she was willing to give.

Demetri bent down in attempt to somehow be even closer, relieving Y/n from her position on her tip toes. He didn't even notice than his dominance on her pushed her back a couple of steps until her knees hit the bed, toppling her over with him above her.

This was a very new situation for Demetri.

He had only just experienced his first kiss and here he was already, holding himself over the girl of his dreams. Looking down at Y/n's perfect smile and rosy cheeks (notably avoiding creating eye contact with her cleavage), every cell in Demetri's body urged him to surge forward, to kiss, to touch – so he rightened himself back up, knees still caging hers between his.

“I'm sorry,” he apologized, despite it being nearly the last thing he wanted to do – the real last thing he wanted to do being pressure Y/n in to something.

He certainly didn't expect it when Y/n took back the reins and nudged Demetri with her knee to a sitting position on the bed, hooking the same knee around him until she was straddling him.

Demetri looked at Y/n from where she sat comfortably on his lap up to her eyes, his lips parted with questions he couldn't word; his own eyes hungry.

“Don't be.” Y/n leaned forward – Demetri leaned in instinctively in hopes to meet her lips, only to be left hanging when Y/n swayed her attentions to the skin under his ear, kissing and biting her way down the curve of his neck. Demetri closed his eyes, his attention completely devoted to the feeling of her lips on his skin, a feeling he had fantasized over for so long.

Fingers threaded between the bed sheets, Demetri couldn't contain his satisfied groan when she bit at just the right spot – and then again when she scooted her hips closer to his, forcing him to notice what she had.

Sudden panic rushing through him, Demetri lay his hands on Y/n thighs as though to push her back – she chose to stay put. “Shit, I'm sorry.” Demetri turned an unbelievable shade of red, causing the girl to laugh. If it were possible, he might have turned even brighter. He searched her eyes for disapproval, but found no such thing.

Looking down at the provocation that bothered Demetri so, Y/n met his eyes again. “Don't worry about it.” she captured Demetri's lips one more time, rocking her hips before they parted. Demetri gasped. “Besides,” she returned to her assault on his neck where red bruises were already forming. Her hands found his belt, undoing it. “I still owe you one.”

It was with great effort that Demetri managed to ask “Y/n, what are you -” before her fingers were wrapped around him, rendering him silent – with the exception of a breath taken gasp.

Demetri could feel Y/n's lips contort to a smile against his skin as she began working him, his head tilted back in euphoria.

He bit his lip in attempt to drown out a moan without success. One arm came to wrap around the girl, holding her tightly in place. Demetri was pulled out of his content state when she slipped out of his grasp.

Y/n sat on the floor between his knees. Demetri's heart dropped, afraid he might have indulged himself too much, scared her away or maybe had done something wrong. “Y/n, what-”

Relief washed over the boy once her hand was once again wrapped around him, this time accompanied by her tongue, licking base to tip.

Demetri could feel every nerve in his body set on fire, never having felt anything remotely like this before.

It took every good ounce in him to say what he said next.

“Stop.”

Clearly caught unprepared, Y/n let go of her touch on him (Demetri had to hold in his objection). Her brows furrowed – she was worried. “What's wrong?”

It felt ridiculous, talking like this in such an exposed state when all he wanted to do was go on, but it needed to be done. “Y/n, you know you don't actually have to do this, right?”

Noticing the drop in his voice, Y/n smiled. “I know.”

“Like, seriously. You don't owe me anything.”

“I know,” Y/n smiled mischievously. “It's just an excuse to do this.”

There was no holding back the moan the escaped Demetri's lips when she next took him in her mouth.

Demetri wasn't sure what to do with himself. He had felt so good he wasn't sure how to contain it all; his hands were gripping the sheets, his head went from tilted back in extasy to forward, watching Y/n.

Releasing one hand of its grasp, Demetri brushed back some of Y/n's hair, creating eye contact.

“I need to know this isn't just a thank-you.”

Y/n stopped, righting herself. “It isn't. Think of this as an... I'm in love with you.”

“I'm in love with you too.” Demetri replied eagerly, his heart pounding. He groaned as Y/n returned to her work on him. “Have been, since, like... fourth grade.”

Soon enough, Demetri's moans and groans grew in volume and frequency, finally finding his release.

Y/n climbed back on to Demetri's lap, kissing him again. Demetri smiled, resting his forehead against hers. “I think I owe you one now.”

You would have to buy it twice if you want it in both places, I’m sorry. To repeat myself a little, Steam doesn’t like the key trading thing. Itch may support giving keys for another site, but the reverse isn’t doable with Steam and Steam doesn’t even really want you to get a Steam key for buying somewhere else either. So we just don’t mess around with that.

It’s not, aha. Unfortunately, 2021 wasn’t easier than 2020 as we hoped so things are still slower than planned. It’ll come out late 2021 or early 2022.

I just wanted to ask if Derek would ever lose feelings for MC, like if they make the deal and then MC gets with Cove would he move on? and even if you don't, after "losing contact" would his feeling fade or would he still like MC?

If you don’t really keep in touch with him and clearly move on with your life, Derek will too and he’ll be over it. But if you are still close as best as you can be, he’ll still think the MC is special. Though, he’ll always support your relationship with someone else if that’s what’ll make you happy.

She’s related to Pamela and Pamela’s last name is the one they use, so the MC has the same last name as Lee.

Will we be able to choose which (they or he) we tend to call Qiu by more often, or will it randomly change depending on the moment?

Qiu knows which pronoun they’re comfortable with at a time and you’ll call them what they’re happy with. And it doesn’t change between lines, it takes multiple scenes or even full Steps for it to switch. So for extended periods Qiu will be totally a guy or fully agender.

Will Step 4 of OL2 have moments?

It’ll be an epilogue like it is in OL1, so it won’t have a bunch of different Moments.

It isn’t based on one specific town you can go to, but there are a lot of little coastal towns in Cali that have a similar vibe!

You wouldn’t get the DLCs for backing there. The Patreon is for extra bonus content/early access, rather than being a storefront to purchase the normal DLCs. Rarely we give them out as a side gift, but it hardly happens and if what you want is the DLCs it’s best to ignore the Patreon and buy keys for those directly from Itch or Steam. I’m sorry for the confusion.

I just played the game with the MC and Cove being best friends and omg it’s still so damn cute like the wholesomeness of it all is too much for my heart I swear ^.^ Now with that all said I was wondering can we still marry Cove? if we only love him as a friend like let’s say we’ve made deal with him similar to the one we can make with Derek because let’s real no one could compete with what the MC and Cove have even if they aren’t in love.

It’s great to hear you enjoyed the friendship story! You can live with Cove, but you can’t marry him platonically. Cove has familial affection for the MC if they’re best-est friends. He wouldn’t think to marry someone he loves like family and even grew up with as though they truly were siblings.

Maybe you missed telling Cove you were in love with him even if you mentioned wanting to get married or you might’ve accidentally said earlier in the game that you don’t want to progress your relationship further with Cove. We haven’t removed them, so you can get the scene again. It’s just kind of easy to miss since there’s multiple requirements. You can read a little guide in the FAQ.

Technically, yes. We treat the non-romantic relationship options as truly non-romantic since we don’t want to bait and switch people. But there’s nothing wrong with headcanoning that Cove does have feelings developing for the MC even before the MC has.

Is there a way to make/allow Lee and Baxter to date?

No, they just don’t have enough time together.

We also got a group of asks related to Tamarack in OL2, but I’m afraid the way they talked about people with larger bodies made me not want to post their words, even if the person didn’t say they’re trying to be hurtful. No, she doesn’t. As for the other questions included, to be honest, I don’t have to explain/defend having romance options of different sizes. I’m sorry if you’re dealing with unhappiness that’s connected to body image, if that’s where the negative emotions are coming from, but even so I can’t meet you on that level and pretend it’s a problem that needs an answer. A girl who simply isn’t thin being a main love interest is just not an unreasonable concept. Also, Tamarack isn’t a lesbian. Yes, she can date a female MC, but that doesn’t undo her actual sexuality, so I’m not sure where that one part at the end was coming from.

Not really, haha. No matter how cool your MC is, they’re never gonna replace Qiu for the other kids around. So you can either partner up with him, follow him too, or not be a part of all that group politics stuff.

It’d depend on his age, personality, and your relationship with him! When he’s younger he’d probably be embarrassed, when he was grown he’d probably be more casual or happy about it.

Yeah, you can be crushing on Cove and date Baxter if you weren’t already dating Cove. You just can’t be truly in love with Cove and then switch to Baxter.

The focus will be on the wedding day itself. The topic of the honeymoon might come up a bit, but there won’t be any choosing of the exact location and such.

First, is there a set year in which OL:B&A takes place (ex: Step 1 being set in 2010 & Step 2 being set in 2016, etc.) or is it simply up to interpretation? There is a set timeline!

Step 1: 2006 Step 2: 2011 Step 3: 2016 Step 4: 2021

And we don’t currently plan on making a game like that. The Our Life series exists to be a safer environment for people to play around in and if we did do a brand new series that was harsher edged it’d be something more fantastical and/or plot-driven instead of a different type of modern day slice-of-life growing up story. I’m sorry.

i don’t know if you’ve already answered this, but do you have a guess on when phase 4 will come out? as well as ol2? i’m so excited for both of them, the inclusivity in this game is amazing, you guys should be really proud of it!

Step 4 will be coming out very soon! OL2 is gonna take until 2023 to be anywhere near completion. But we might episodically release the Steps one at a time as they get done instead of waiting for three to be finished before launch like we did with the first game.

That’s nice of you to offer. He doesn’t have a Twitter, at least not one that’s public enough to be shared with me. And I’m afraid not. The issue is that the CGs take huge amounts of time rather than there not being a budget for it. He’s gotta make CGs for Step 4, the DLCs, and new character sprites, too. There isn’t space in the schedule for even more. Sorry for that.

I was born and raised in Cali! Though, not right by the beach. We still had to make trips out, but the setting is based on my own childhood memories of small beach towns we went through.

If you wanted context: Death Note is about this one guy who finds a notebook that kills anyone who you write the name of in there. The guy eventually develops a God Complex and starts mass killing criminals and stuff. L is the one trying to find out who is killing all these people.

Me and my sister first joked about it because I couldn't remember how to translate a word about the way Cove was sitting, so I just did the pose, and it looked a lot like how L himself sits! Then we just snowballed from there, with more and more nonsense connections.

The Gaang are Roommates AU ~

note: this is a rewrite and repost of my old roommates au, there was some stuff I wanted to change, and I wanted to make the parts a little longer, so yeah, ta-dah!

- think modern setting in the canon universe, bending is still a thing

- the Gaang are all in going to Ba Sing Se University

- I’m gonna change the ages a bit to make it easier for myself, sorry

- Zuko, Sokka, Suki and Mai are 20, Katara, Ty Lee and Azula are 19, Aang, Toph and Yue are 18

- so, Zuko, Sokka, Katara, Aang and Toph end up living together in a big loft type apartment

- Sokka and Aang are old best friends, they met Toph in Middle School, and Katara is a natural part of the group

- until now Sokka and Katara have both been living in the dorms, and they both hate it intensely

- but now that Aang and Toph are also in uni, they all decide to move in together!

- …but the only problem is that the only place they find that they like is just out of their price rage (Toph’s parents aren’t supportive of her major so they’re not helping out much)

- enter: ~ Zuko ~

- so, Zuko has been living with his uncle Iroh since his Father, who’s a high up in some big and important company the Fire Nation, disowned him for speaking up against the company’s shifty treatment of workers and ruining a lot of sacred land etc

- they’re still firebenders and the scar still happened, not in an Agni Kai, but it happened

- but after Zuko started uni, Iroh really tried to push him to meet some people his own age and make some friends

- the only people Zuko talks to on the regular besides Iroh is Azula, Ty Lee and Mai, and Mai is the only one who is like, his friend yanno?

- the last year the deal was that if Zuko didn’t branch out, Iroh would have him live one year with other students

- it’s his idea of tough love

- Zuko tried to do some random kid’s homework to have them pretend to be his new friend in front of Iroh so he wouldn’t have to, but Iroh can tell he’s lying so easily

- so, Zuko ends up hearing about the Gaang through Mai, who heard from Ty Lee, who plays field hockey, Suki, who’s best friends with Sokka

- so, he goes to meet them, and it’s so awkward mY GOD

- Katara is a B I G environmental activist and HATES Ozai and his company, with good reason

- she eases up a tad when Zuko admits to being turned away from as a teen, but she is still suspicious

- Aang loves him right away, ofc, and that makes Katara even more suspicious because she’s pretty protective of Aang

- she claims it’s because he’s so kind and believes everyone but she totally liikeees hiiiim

- Toph is just like, sure, as long as he pays his rent idgaf

- Sokka is weirdly quiet, because he’s had a huge crush on Zuko forever, and the only one who knows is Aang (and Toph but she ain’t no snitch)

- so, ya boy makes the cut, and before they know it, it’s move-in day!

- but, the idiots didn’t think through the facts that it’s only three bedrooms oops

- and Toph is NOT afraid to pull the “I’m blind and I need my space” card

- and nobody’s up to fight her on it, so

- let’s just say there is A LOT of back and forth, but with Katara refusing to room with her brother again, and Zuko being rightfully scared of Katara, it ends up with Zuko and Sokka sharing a bedroom, and Katara and Aang

- they have separate beds ofc

- but still, tension, man, so much tension

- it takes a while, but the dynamics starts working out really well

- Zuko is good at grocery shopping and likes to clean, and Aang is always happy to help him out

- Sokka loves cooking, so he does that a lot

- Katara is always on top of the others with schoolwork and making sure everyone is okay, and she usually does it in genius, sneaky ways so people doesn’t even notice that she does it

- Toph is clearing the air off bullshit

- like, she will call a bitch out

- but because she cares about said bitch

- so, Aang knows that Sokka has a crush on Zuko because Sokka told him in a weak moment, and Toph knows because she just knows

- Aang is a good friend tho, and he tries to like, ease them together

- but he is so awkward about it, the poor thing, and Zuko doesn’t understand AT ALL

- Toph is just sitting back and sighing a lot

- Katara doesn’t understand either but she just stays out of it (smart girl)

- but okay, we know how oblivious Zuko can be right?

- Sokka can give him googly eyes and blush and stutter around him so much and he still has no clue at all

- Zuko starts thinking Sokka just doesn’t like him at all

- but then one night Zuko has this really intense nightmare

- okay and quick addition, his scar is… handshaped? Like, you can clearly tell what happened to him

- but nobody talks about it, yet

- but then he’s having a terrible nightmare and is talking and begging and pleading in his sleep

- so much that Sokka wakes up

- and he catches on pretty fast, but had no idea what to do

- so he just shuffles over to Zuko’s side of the room and starts tapping his shoulder rapidly

- but nothing happens

- so he just… gently and awkwardly pats his head until Zuko wakes up

- and Zuko is like… wat u doin there bro

- and Sokka is like… just patting ur head to wake you from a nightmare bro

- and they awkwardly just mumble and go back to their beds

- but Zuko is smiling a lot because someone who’s not his family or a family friend really cares about him

- after that, Zuko slowly starts opening up to all of them, but Sokka especially

- he never really tells them about being cast out and burned tho

- until one day he kinda casually slings it into a convo all fast and awkwardly

- it’s just Toph, Aang and Sokka there

- Toph yells so WHAATTT so loudly and just metalbends the whole fridge into a clump in rage

- Aang cries lmao but he tries to hide to and be supportive and not awkward

- Sokka is kinda quiet, but he carefully asks about it that night when they’re in their beds, and they talk a little about it

- Aang tells Katara (with permission) and she awkwardly, but wholeheartedly tells him that he can always talk to her

- they do that «awkward sibling hug» from Gravity Falls after

- *hugs stiffly* «pat, pat»

- but okay, Toph and metalbending when angry, it happens quite a lot

- this was the first time it was the fridge, but the toaster, the microwave, and several other appliances have met the same fate

- everyone is kinda used to it now, and she always replaces it

- except Zuko, who’s still kinda new to them all

- but what are you supposed to say when your new friends is so outraged by the abuse you went through that they crush a whole ass fridge?

- it actually reminds him that he’s cared for here, by these people who owe him nothing, and is not related to him, and it makes him a little dizzy to have people care this way

- he casually mentions it to his Uncle Iroh the time he’s in at work, that his new friend is a metalbender and squashed their whole fridge when she was pissed on his behalf

- Iroh is thrilled

- to the point of offering Toph a job lmao

- Toph, desperate to cut of as much ties with her family and be as self-sufficient as possible, agrees

- and now Iroh have two formerly rich kids with no clue about any sort of customer service and basic stuff like that working for him

- Toph is a hard worker tho, and she and Zuko work surprisingly well together

- Katara is a little relived, because the more those two work, the less are the chances of either of them trying to cook or do too many chores around their apartment

- they mean well, or, Zuko does, but he does so much dumb shit when trying to help lmao

- Sokka starts spending a lot of time over at The Jasmine Drago too

- Aang is still trying to keep the fact that Sokka likes Zuko a secret, but he is having trouble

- Katara is his biggest weakness, and now they’re suddenly alone with her a lot

- someone else who could always read Sokka really well is Suki

. whom he used date in high school, but they parted as friends and everything s cool

- but Sokka is a little taken aback when she comes into The Jasmine Dragon one day, hand in hand with Sokka’s childhood crush obsession, Yue

- for the first time in man’s memory, Sokka is a little speechless

- and Suki’s like “lmao dude I haven’t seen you like this since the first time you saw Zu-”

- cue Zuko popping out behind them like “WELCOME TO THE JASMINE DRAGON FRIENDS OF SOKKA :D”

- Sokka is so fucking red, poor boy is just about having an aneurism at this point

- but luckily something happens and Zuko gets distracted

- Suki is having the time of her life tho, Sokka always used to tease her for her crushes before and after they dated, and suddenly, here they are

- at the apartment, Aang decides they need some apartment traditions

- they’ve been living there for almost three months, after all

- so he decides that weekly movie nights are mandatory

- so are pillowforts

- Katara is actually really excited for it, she loves all things cozy and fall-like

- also… she is weak for Aang, y’all, and she loves seeing him all excited

- Zuko barely knows what a pillowfort is, he didn’t think real people actually made it

- but imagine these dorks in a pillowfort with hot chocolate and lot’s of pillows

- Toph claims that she thinks it’s soo dumb, but she will always make sit in the middle of the group all wrapped in her blanket and laughing when the others jump and get spooked from the horror movies Sokka always wants to watch

- and she will make sure the fort is right and perfect lmao

- Zuko is a little awkward about it at first, but he likes it too

- Sokka always manages to plop in next to Zuko lmao

- they haven’t talked about the head patting incident yet, but Zuko is def starting to feel the butterflies

- one time after a movie night Sokka falls asleep on Zuko’s shoulder, after the others have left for the night

- Zuko can’t resist waking him up with awkward head pats similar to the one Sokka used on him

- Sokka thinks he died and went to heaven lmao

- but then he fully wakes and sees Zuko’s shit eating grin and can’t help but laugh at the whole thing

- and Zuko has his “oh no he’s hot beautiful and I really adore him” moment
