Thinking about how last night, at 1 AM, my sister (who isn’t into Ace Attorney) and I were at ihop, and I was very tired and my ADHD meds wore off hours before, so I was rambling about Ace Attorney and trying to explain to her why I don’t believe Gregory Edgeworth was 5’9. I was trying to tell her that, at least in my head, he was 6 feet tall.
And she goes “You say he’s 6 feet? Yeah, 6 feet underground” and I didn’t know how to respond

So speaking of magic affecting biology. What long-term biological affects do you think the various transformations the LU boys have gone through have on them? I think with Twilight and Legend, the affects are more evident with their markings, but beyond just facial markings, how do the transformations affect them? Does Twilight need to eat more meat or eat his meat rarer than before? Does Legend learn towards a more vegetarian diet and feel sick if he eats meat or need to hydrate more often because of t he fish tail item? Does Time sometimes fluctuate between different baselines depending on the many, many transformations he has? Does Hyrule require sugar the way we require proteins and carbs?
I mean, you can have as much fun with it as possible, I can’t realistically say what effects magic would have lol. Personally, the way I look at it is lingering habits rather than physical effects.
Twi automatically has wolf instincts and mannerisms when he becomes one. If he’s been one too long, some habits bleed over for a little bit when he turns back. Big stretches, zoomies that he just doesn’t bother reeling in, flopping on people. But he has to be a wolf a good while for that to seep over - it happens far more on his adventure than in LU.
If Time switches between masks too much in too short a span of time, he’ll forget his body’s size/capabilities. He gets stuck in a hole one time, his butt and legs wiggling helplessly, because he’d been a deku scrub earlier and something else before that and, well, the hole looked like he’d fit in it. No, he’s never calling for help, he’ll just stay here until he can unstick himself, thank you very much.
I feel like Legend is ashamed for his dark world form and would avoid ever turning into it if possible. But maybe during his adventure he’d freeze up when he hears something, like a bunny does, and it’s a habit that has continued because it allows him to better examine his surroundings.
Hyrule very much strikes me as somebody who will do anything to accomplish a goal and not necessarily think twice about it. He’d jump in and out of fairy form within a minute’s time, so it would never be long enough to really develop any kind of habits. That boy’s always on the move, but I feel like he prefers being himself rather than, say, turn into a fairy and explore the whole world like that. But that’s just the vibe I get 🤷🏻♀️

At the end of the day. Write what you like to write. Read what you like to read. Don’t write what you don’t like to write. Don’t read what you don’t like to read. And don’t attack someone because their own self indulgent writing isn’t catered to you specifically.

this thing tripped my “that looks like it might be something” radar. i was kinda right? apparently she’s a 1994 scented “baggie friend” from cititoy. she actually still has some of her scent! it’s not super strong but it’s definitely that distinct artificial berry you get in a lot of scented toys. there’s not a lot of information about these things online, but they’re quite cute designs. unfortunately, her hair is not the best quality, it’s very dry and doesn’t hold moisture. her hat also can’t be non-destructively removed, which didn’t help with trying to do a basic de-frizz.

yet another reprise of the same post i’ve made dozens and dozens of times before but GEEZ! i am so incredibly lucky to be doing what i’m doing! to think i spend hours and hours and days and weeks and months and years and hopefully DECADES pouring over animation history, lauding the masters and studying their work so intently and absorbing it and feeling and identifying with it, and the fact that i get to walk the same turf they did. that i get to be a part of this business that they established. that i get to carry the torch and that, some day, no matter how small or insignificant, my own work and contributions will be regarded as “animation history” because i work in animation and all history is history. i just can’t believe that i’m privileged enough to indulge in some of the same practices that The Greats did, that i get to study their work and, if i’m so lucky, channel and make homages to it where possible.
this isn’t to say “i’m just like Tex Avery because i work in animation TOO!!!!”, but, rather, an expression of my sheer GRATITUDE and amazement that i get to do what i do at all. i’ve met so many nice people. blossomed so much as an artist and cartoonist. get inspired each day by the talent i am constantly surrounded by. and to think that i get to be a part of it!!!!! that i get to carry the torch! i know this sounds so conceited and pompous and i really don’t mean it that way at all because i don’t WANT to be known as someone who people are only interested in because i work in cartoons. i just wanna be known for me! what “me” is i guess is for you to decide! but, regardless, i’m just feeling extra thankful tonight that i’m able to indulge in my passions and SPREAD my passions and have said passions fostered. that i’m lucky enough to tread the same ground as some of the greatest creatives that gave me this ground to tread on. there will never be enough words to properly articulate just how deeply and passionately my gratitude extends.

You’re totally right Tumblr doesn’t manage the for you section. But this is so fucked up

Typically when things like this happen on here it is because the post (and person) were mass-reported.
Reminder that my original owlvid blog was deleted because of fatphobic weirdos spam-reporting my blog when I was making posts about BMI being made by eugenicists who wanted to make Americans look more physically imposing to other countries and that many people classified as “morbidly obese” by the scale do not have high enough levels of body fat to actually impact their health, and that BMI and similar “ideal weight” metrics don’t take the weight of muscle into account and the weight loss trend has caused millions of people to develop eating disorders throughout the years.
A video like the one posted in the link you provided is going to be controversial because zionists won’t like it and the wording used in the video is unfortunately very easy to make look antisemitic. The section of the video where the speaker started saying “this percentage of Jews think they’re smarter and better than everyone” or whatever does align dangerously with a lot of antisemitic beliefs, so because he didn’t continue to say Israelis or Israeli Jews to speak against this nationalistic culture, it makes it extremely simple for zionists to point to that and spin the entire video as being lies and antisemitic propaganda. That leads to mass-reports against it.
I don’t doubt staff has Zionist sympathizers among them simply because staff is largely if not exclusively American and it is very difficult for people in this country to access accurate information about the Israel Palestine conflict because the government sponsors so much propaganda supporting Israel and against Arabs and Muslims in general, leading to a large amount of Americans drinking the koolaid and believing Israel to be justified. However, there is also a good chance that this person and the post were mass-reported and taken down automatically because staff doesn’t always back-check to ensure someone or their posts were actually dangerous if they reach a certain threshold of reports they just terminate everything.
