just thinking abt giving Zandy his good first Christmas after you woke up

like he had never experinced a loving family or any of that kind, and certainly not holidays. Zandik hadn't too, you remember that clearly, you dragged him out to get this and get that, made him watch you bake cookies and such because you didn't want him to somehow mess them up.

so... you tried to do that again but with Zandy instead, ofc you couldn´t tell him about 'Santa Claus' and stuff like that, he'll just tell you many reasons why that would be impossible and so on. but you did make an effort to make him gifts, several for each segment infact. now you might say that would be unreasonable bc they could just go and buy it instead, but you made everything yourself, and they wouldn't even try to complain or get a replacement anyway.

(you also asked threatened the other segments and even prime to get him(Zandy) a present as well, or you might just give them on less than everyone else. they, of course, easily obeyed not wanting the others getting more affection than them.)

SOBBING MAKING ZANDY'S FIRST CHRISTMAS ONE TO REMEMBER... 😭 Ahh so cute,, you just want to make the precious bb happy!! You know very well how Zandik never had anything nice during his childhood, you know you can't do anything to go back fix that, you can only make him feel loved now... letting him wrap his arms around you securely as he watches your every move very carefully (and has the gall to dictate you on the decisions. "You've used too much of that frosting. I want a different flavor." Also tries to eat them before they're done, the expression on his face when you first physically slapped his hand away was priceless. At least he gets to lick the spoon clean.)

But... maybe Zandy can live out the happy experiences a child should have anyway? (Making Zandy happy and also healing Zandik's inner child at the same time... </3) Of course, he gets the baking experience with you, he gets to decorate the tree with you too, you lifted him up and let him put the star at the top! Maybe if your health is good, he can make snow angels with you and have snowball fights! And the gifts, yes the gifts, you want Zandy to have the experience of excitedly ripping them open and marveling at the gift. Doesn't matter what it is either, Zandy is the type of bb who would appreciate anything. (Maybe you even get Pantalone, Childe, and Bina on the case!! They're fond of the child segment as well :3)

Haha, I imagine Zandy being a bit confused about why the segments are being so nice to him but the feeling is overwhelmed by the joy of all the gifts and attention... maybe this is the Christmas magic you told him about!

The other segments definitely brag about their gifts to each other... they make it a competition even though it's not supposed to be.

Week one of keenswimmers2023

Prompt: Dystopia/Utopia.

I personally decided to do Dystopia and I know I am late but I can explain-

No actually I can't...dosen't matter, It's there.

I uhm decided to do a world were Gunmar broke free in season one and actually killed Jim. Strickler obviously was shocked but we all know that season one him is a ...well...kind of a dick, wich means he "got over it"...until he realized how fucked up this actually is.

He did keep his promise tho, he protects Barbara. He eventually tells her that he is a changeling but he bends the truth how he needs it to be. Strickler leaves Gunmar after finding out that he will kill every human and he decided (after veeeeery looooong thoughts) that Barbara is more worth than his selfish plans.

Barb would eventually find out the truth after Strickler left Gunmar for her and he tries to survive or at least he is trying to keep her alive. Barb can't forgive him. She won’t forgive him.

How does it end...? They both probably die...

...

Anyways have fun with this :D

Ohhh and did Strickler broke off one of his horns? Yes he did. Wanna know how? Gunmar did it after Strickler refused to tell him were he hides Barbara.

Barb's scars are easier to see but Walt tends to jump infront of her. He fights for her as long as his body works.

He gives her food and water as much as she needs and takes what's left or eats trash. He refuses to sleep, to watch over her. He holds himself awake as long as nessecary until his body can't take it.

i'd like to think that you talk to little zandy about a lot thats troubling you, of course not with the illness as much, but like mundane things. you heard some agents talk abt you, and you didnt quite understand but you thought it would be too troublesome to tell one of the other/very busy/segments so you told zandy abt it. yes you also rant to zandik himself from time to time, but he's so busy now a days (and you dont want to desturb if he's doing smt important, like finding a cure) so you stick to telling zandy all of the little things. or maybe you just wanted to feel smart and useful for once, so you teach him how to speel certain long words, not writing though since you still have trouble with that yourself :(.

When you woke up from your coma, Zandy wasn't sure what to expect, but it certainly wasn't a grown-up who was willing to talk his ear off. Not that he minds of course! In fact, he loves it because no one in the lab was willing to indulge him for even a few minutes. But you're willing to talk for hours! And listen to him talk too! You're the best grown-up ever! You two talk about so many things, it's hard to keep track of. And you love it because you know that Zandy will never judge you. (The other segments wouldn't either but, you're still scared and nervous they would, and there's also the fact of how busy they are. You can't be wasting their time with your nonsense...) Though of course you never burden Zandy with any heavy topics. But the child does get a glimpse of your true feelings a bit more than the other segments.

You definitely teach Zandy a lot of things! The segments are actually rather grateful for you becoming his teacher now. They don't have to waste time explaining things anymore... seeing the child brighten and smile whenever he learns something new from you truly warms your heart. It makes you feel good, to be able to help him out in some way... it makes you proud to see him put your knowledge to good use as well! Yes, show off to the older segments how smart you are, little one! Ugh I imagine sometimes you try to push through the shaky hands to write stuff for Zandy, but it usually never ends well. The little boy always reassures you that it's okay, you don't need to do all that for him! You're already doing so much for him, and that's all he can ask you.

Though I imagine Dottore would notice if all of a sudden your little rants about your troubles stopped happening. Now, if you didn't have any troubles anymore, that'd be great, but he knows you do, so why aren't you coming to him? He'll probably find out the answer soon enough...
