I have dylan/ryan/kaitlyn brainrot so here's some of my headcanons:
ryan, dylan, and kaitlyn are in a polyam relationship (canon, real, cant change my mind). ryan is romantically involved with them both whereas kaitlyn and dylan are very close friends/qpp who hold hands and kiss sometimes
dylan is the designated lap sitter in their relationship okay (yes even kaitlyn's, she is tiny yet strong). ryan rolls his eyes every time dylan sits in his lap when there's a perfectly good chair nearby but he secretly loves it and instinctually wraps his arms around dylan's waist every time lol
this is obviously canon but dylan and kaitlyn are absolutely down bad for ryan they adore that man and are pretty vocal about it. ryan doesn't say it with words very often, but he adores them just as much and shows it in his own way (with small gestures like sharing earbuds to listen to music/podcasts together, being a great listener, remembering small details, etc)
kaitlyn 100% uses their shirts as sleep shirts and may or may not have a collection of "borrowed" shirts and hoodies. dylan doesn't mind so much because his clothes end up smelling like her body spray that he likes so much. ryan tends to give kaitlyn shit for it but he's just teasing, he thinks she looks cute in his clothes and even offers her one of his shirts to sleep in when she sleeps over
dylan and kaitlyn shamelessly flirt sometimes or banter playfully and ryan will just smile softly as he listens, sometimes joining in himself and making the two blush

As much as I love thinking about LP Marty and the differences that would have been his life/youth and subsequently the reasons he ended up hanging around with Doc in the first place, there's such a special place in my heart for TP Marty and that very unique relationship that he and Doc formed that bordered on father/son, well beyond the simple best friend, mentor/mentee dynamic.
Yeah I've rambled about this before, but there'd be no LP improved timeline without Doc and everything he'd done and no, I'm not just talking about the time machine even giving him the chance to go back to '55.
I just, I think about how a little deeper into their friendship, Doc would come home from having to run errands or walk the dog and Marty would just be there, having let himself in. Doc told him where he'd be able to find the key to the place, after all. It wasn't just like Marty started just breaking in. But it was a place Marty could just run off to or hang out at and whether or not something was on his mind or it wasn't and he just wanted to spend time there with his friend, whether or not he needed to work through something with him, the garage was just always open, available, safe.
And if Doc didn't take Einie with him, Einie would be home to greet and shower affection upon Marty, and I imagine that smart as that dog is, he, like Doc, also learned how to read the kid's moods. Marty's sad? Einie's laying all his weight on his lap or his shoulder in the most comforting way a dog can. Crying? No we're not going to tell Doc, Einie's probably licking his face and getting rid of all the evidence.
Like god, that kid is so sweet and bright and impressive and he got more love and support in TP in a damned garage next to Burger King from a disgraced (nuclear) physicist and his dog than at home/school/anywhere else (save for Jen).

my love if you are still taking requests could i pls have some hcs on K Company (Sledge, Snafu, Burgin, Leyden, De L'Eau, Ack Ack and Hillbilly) and how they would survive a slasher movie (particularly Scream franchise if you have seen it?) absolutely no pressure if u dont feel inspired or interested in writing this ! x thank uu
I've only seen the first one, tbh, so I'm not as well versed with the whole franchise, but I've seen my fair share of slasher movies, so I think I'll give this a go! But I'll be operating on the idea that they're in a slasher film together, so unfortunately, not all of them are going to survive. Sorry! It might not be exactly what you asked for!
1) Andrew Haldane and Eddie Jones - Oh no they don't make it. In fact, they're the dead girls who haunt the narrative. Particularly Andy. But Eddie, too, because Andy would not be dead if Eddie had not died first. They were each other's greatest happiness, and inevitable doom. Their romance is the tragedy, and sets the stage for all the shit that's about to go down next.
2) Bill Leyden - practical, smart, pragmatic, you'd think he'd survive, but he's too skeptical, you know? But he's too logical. Almost to a fault. At first, he wields it as his own weapon against the fear, but slowly it morphs from weapon to shield. Then slowly, from shield to outright denial, and as the tension rises and rises, he struggles to keep from breaking until, finally, he crumbles beneath it. Not completely, but just enough to give their killer an in. He's not surviving the night, unfortunately.
3) Jay De L'eau - he is though! Jay's surviving! out of pure dumb luck! He's so quiet, so small and so unassuming, that the killer will forget about him until it is too late. He's the last minute save you wouldn't expect, the car that comes crashing against your slasher, sending him several feet away and far enough to buy everybody else some time, or the shadow that brings something heavy down upon the slasher's head, enough to knock him out and pull everybody else to their feet, crying 'Run!'. He's the guy they find at the end, maybe in the post-credits scene, hiding beneath the rubble or tucked away amongst the shadows, safe and traumatized. But generally untouched.
4) RV Burgin - I don't think he's surviving. He wants to get out, no question. But he's not desperate enough to throw people under the bus, and maybe that was his mistake. He stops running because someone tripped. Turns to look back because someone calls out his name, reaches out to him. Or makes it out, but then realizes his is a hollow victory if he can't manage to take his friends out with him, too. Man, he should've just run, but that's not who Burgie is. He might come back in the sequel though, maybe in a post-credits scene added by the producers after the test screening audiences demand that he be alright bc they love the character too much.
5) Merriell Shelton - ok if there's a likely candidate for the 'someone from the original group who was the Slasher all along' character, it's Snaf; turns out he was Ghostface this whole time! but that feels like too much of an out and a little unfair, so I'll just say that he'll make it almost all the way to the end, but he's going to slip up. And it's going to be because he's so tired. He's so afraid under all that anger, but he's just so tired, too, and it only takes one little slip. One little swing too late. But make no mistake, he fights back. He will be remembered very fondly because he fights back, and the tragedy of it lies in how close he was to getting out. He was so close. But not close enough.
6) Eugene Sledge - FINAL GIRL FINAL GIRL FINAL GIRL ENERGY ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? OF COURSE HE'S FINAL GIRL he's standing over the bloody corpse of their tormentor and he's the only one in his right mind to shoot it more than once to make sure it's dead. He's the one whose rage far surpasses that of the slasher. He's the who comes out of this ordeal alive and fully changed, covered in blood, blurring the lines between victim and perpetrator, and smoking his pipe at the steps of the house or the entrance of the summer camp; red and blue emergency lights flashing over his face as someone puts a blanket over his shoulders.

i always saw child timeline link as fighting against ganon as he begins to decline into being more selfish and not actually helping his people with this war with the gerudo while they have to fight about the hylian army and thats why he knows lighting magic in twillight princess. hes probably still a war criminal but it is what it is...
So helping the gerudos against Ganon, and that's why he learns lightning magic? That's interesting! I mean, the gerudos are still uhhhh Extremely Gone by the time TP rolls around, so Link must have not done a very good job, but!!!! He also is in a very poor shape when we find him, so who knows what may have happened!

LoZ - Wolf Link & the Búralupán Race
Okay, new theory. I know that werewolves aren't technically part of the LoZ universe, but what if Twilight Link was descended from the Búraló-mná (wolf women; a type of wolf fae or spirit, which, the leader of is Twilight's mother, but he is unaware) of Ordona & turning into a wolf in game turns him into the first "werewolf" in Hyrule history?
Hell, maybe he had a Sheikah ancestor, thus making him capable of Twilight Magic &, judging by the Yiga, this could allow one access to shapeshifting. Which, when mixed with him having the Soul of the Hero (which I headcanon is actually the soul of the Fierce Deity, who I also hc created the Sheikah & thus would naturally have access to Twilight Magic himself, which is a mix of Light & Shadow Magic, & one of his sacred animals is the wolf), the Triforce of Courage reacted to the Twilight in Link's defense & used what was already present in his own biology to become something totally new.
I also subscribe to the theory that the Twili are actually a branch of Sheikah who called themselves "the Interlopers," turned against Hyrule, & when they were banished to the Twilight Realm, managed to adapt to it due to their Twilight Magic, specifically being more focused on the Shadow half here. The reason being that Twilight is very closely related to Shadow, being a mix of light & shadow, which allowed them to bridge the gap.
Unless those 2 Yiga (Fake Zelda Yiga & All-Seeing Cucco Yiga) were just masters of disguise. Or if it's specifically a case where the transformation is just an illusion, which could be possible. Though, considering the fact that the Sheikah are literally references to ninja, you could go full Henge no Jutsu from Naruto in which Shadow/Twilight Magic substitutes Chakra & allows them to actively transform their bodies physically.
I'm speculating all these things because I tend to come from a perspective of wanting there to be a biological basis for things. I mean, there has to be a reason he didn't just turn into a spirit like damn near everyone else. And it can't just be because he has the Soul of the Hero. In my mind, the Soul can't just do shit just because.
Yes, the Triforce of Courage, but it couldn't have just been the Triforce. If it was, then he'd be able to maintain his Hylian form in the Twilight like Zelda is able to before she gives the Triforce of Wisdom to Midna. (And it isn't just Zelda either. Ganon walks through that shit just fine & doesn't need to take on animal form.) Because isn't the whole point of the Triforce that no 1 side is greater than the others?
Like, yes, power, but just being powerful doesn't automatically mean you're gonna win, obviously. However, I can get behind the idea of the Triforce being the catalyst, but there must be something more going on beyond that.
Because why would Link's part of the Triforce react differently to the Twilight from the other 2 pieces unless there was something going on?
Anyway, once Midna takes the Twilight Crystal with her (which, I assume is what happened, otherwise it's likely out there somewhere in BotW & TotK if it really is a fusion of all 3 timelines like we're told or that the Wild Series is just an inevitable event no matter the timeline), Twilight Link begins transforming into what we in the real world call a werewolf with Wolf Link's coloration on full moon nights. The reason being that I see the moon as being a very direct & natural source of Twilight Magic (due to its phases), specifically Lunar Magic, & the full moon being when it's most intense.
Or, perhaps just the moon being out at night at all would be enough? That could also work.
Just BTW, in this instance, I consider being a werewolf to be having something called an active werewolf gene. But, here, they're called Búralupáns.
Having a Lupán gene means that when transformed under the full moon, they have thick, bushy, healthy-looking fur (so long as they eat a certain amount of red meat per day), a short lupine muzzle, being tulip-eared with them situated at the top of their head, a long, bushy tail, strong musculature, taller than when human (including Hylian, Sheikah, or Gerudo, though there have yet to be any Gerudo). This form is referred to as their Lupos(ian) form. They are forced to fully transform under the full moon & transforming is uncomfortable at first, but not painful & the transforming becomes less so with experience. And the danger sense or "vibe check" that most animals seem to have.
Basically, it's Wednesday werewolves.
And, much like the Wednesday werewolves, Búralupáns can also take on lupine features at any time, but not fully transform unless it's the full moon. Things like elongated & noticeable canines, longer canid claws (meaning that they aren't actually sharp like a cat's & their danger comes in the strength put behind them), also lucidum tapetum. Not to mention the improved senses that they generally have at all times, though not nearly to the same extent as when transformed. Lupáns with cuspated ears (Hylian, Sheikah, Gerudo) also have almost full range of motion.
Búralupáns can also eventually learn to turn into actual wolves whenever. Not a lot of Lupáns are able to achieve it though & it's considered a point of pride if they do. It involves embracing both Twilight & Wild magic; embracing one's instincts while still retaining one's mind.
Also, Alfa Lupáns grow bigger than other Lupáns in all forms, but only once they become the Alfa. Thus becoming giant wolves. (Yes, this is a Stephenie Meyer's Twilight reference. It's one of the only things I still actively like about it.) My thoughts are that this is the most difficult form to acquire & is the strongest. It's basically like how in the animal kingdom, some species of animals grow bigger than others when they become alphas. Similar to how the Zora seem to.
And even when in their human form, Búralupáns always have slightly pronounced canines, enhanced physicality (including strength & speed), enhanced senses (hearing & smell specifically), & wolf-like instincts, tendencies, & mannerisms. As well as being taller, more hirsute, men having incredible sideburns, & having more potential for muscle definition on average than regular humans. These things becoming even more pronounced when transformed & the more wolf-like they appear, the stronger these qualities become. Not to mention having naturally higher physicality.
Of course, you can also have a dormant Lupán gene, which means you don't transform on your own at all, ever. And if you reproduce there is a chance that those cubs may also have a dormant gene. However, with the right catalyst (whether it's a spell or something else), your Lupán gene can be activated.
One other thing, people descended from Lupáns, whether their gene is active or not, are completely incapable of becoming vegetarians, let alone vegans, because wolves are carnivores, this plus being a subrace of human, makes them obligate omnivores, meaning they can live without plant matter. Not comfortably or healthily, but they can. However, they absolutely require meat in order to survive. Not just be healthy! Survive!
Moving on, I feel like a fic like this could be cool. Whether exploring Twilight Link's life after the game as he navigates this new feature of his or Wild Link being a descendant of Twilight Link & the complications of that as he goes through BotW & TotK.
It'd create a totally new subrace in Hyrule.
Only those directly descended from the Hero of Twilight have his Mark of the Wolf on their foreheads. You know, the pattern that Wolf Link has?
Anyway, I'd make their inspired cultures Gaelic, Celtic, Welsh, & slightly Nordic!

random, but I saw a kinda ignorant post:
you can totally ship wallace/scott/ramona bc not all polycules have the same dynamic (ie not all polyam relationships have everyone involved romantically with one another). shipping them as a polycule doesn't mean we ship wallace and ramona inherently 😵‍💫
the polycule, in my eyes at least, would be scott dating both ramona and wallace while wallace and ramona have a platonic relationship (or possibly a qpr! but nothing romantic or sexual)
