thinking about those guys. jensen ack. misha col. floatin around my brain.

you see the thing is, i constantly think about neil and todd if they were just slightly older. i’m talking about like 19-21, where they are finally getting their footing being on their own, and slowly gaining confidence in themselves and each other. when i think of neil and todd, i wish for a near future for them, so soon after the canon timeline, that leads them to fully support themselves, and their own abilities. i just know that they would be able to thrive so fucking much in an environment that does nothing but nurture their happiness, and that environment is so easily found with one another

i mean sure, that's the easy way no? mine would be so full of angst. because what if it starts as something small in combat and then nate leaves and they level up to fwbs and then they each realize they're in love with the other and that's hard to not have the other fully, especially knowing that at any point there could be someone else. especially for brad i think it would be painful because he'd immediately think of what had happened to him feelings wise and i think he'd try to convince himself at first that what they have enough because he doesn't want to push nate at first in case nate scares and backs away which would kill brad. so he tries to tell himself that what they have is enough but it isn't, it isn't and he wants more. and every time they sleep with each other.... it's... it's not... it doesn't feel like fwbs, you know? it feels intense and hungry and raw and good and comfortable and RIGHT in a way that's more than just friends having fun

and i think after some drama, after some unspoken angst, it's nate who'd speak up. he'd tell brad look, i'm actually in love with you, and i want more. and i think brad would short circuit internally.
