Hi! You guys are great! Are there any where the other Foxes or someone on the outside thinks Andrew is cheating on Neil or vice versa, but it's not true? Like, someone thinks they know more than they do, but Andrew and Neil are perfectly happy together. Not breakup fics, though. Thanks!

I too find it weird that the same people talking about Johanne used to describe MK, Rikke, and Fanny the same exact way. Down to the same wording. Except they used to go after MK'S tattoos like they're a bad thing. People were awful about her, and the rest. Now Johanne and his family and friends are getting it too.

Now they act like a friendship, spanning 7 years, is something "more" bc he likes her posts. Lol I bet he likes a lot of people's/friends posts, guys and girls. Probably a lot of private accounts too bc a lot of his friends went private bc people kept posting his friends' videos and pics. I don't understand why he can't like any of the accounts he follows without it causing a stir. Lol liking a post isn't a big deal lol. People can be friends, it's not like he doesn't have TON of female friends lol. I doubt he's still pining for her, and probably hasn't for a long long time.

It's not like he hasn't dated since or before (Olivia who rejected him supposedly 2017).

And he's older now and probably has sown his wild oats and wants to settle down with the woman he loves (Johanne). And I think, personal opinion, that now he has someone who matches him, loves him as he is, and let's him be just who he is. All goofy funny husky puppy energy Alex. That's great imo.

Happy Birthday, Fine Line! Have a Louis show! (Seriously, why can’t I get cool shows for my birthday like that??). So today’s been a busy week, huh?

It is, of course, Fine Line’s anniversary, and the celebration kicked off last night, with a twitter emoji (it's Harrrry! Doing the FL pose so so tiny!) and the DYKWYA website changing. It’s pink and black and blue and white, and now tells us that we’re “loyal” and “marvelous” and “memorable” and “powerful” and “rare” and “real” and “staying six feet apart” (or 70 other lovely options). So either HSHQ got their thesaurus out, or they tuned into Louis’ show last night, because that’s EXACTLY how I would describe it. Anyways, the day started with a Harry sighting! Well, a video from last week that is, of him doing a MakeaWish FaceTime in a blue snapback. And then there was a Harry Lambert interview, where he directly addressed the discourse around Harry’s fashion choices, saying, “Harry will never wear something that he doesn’t want to wear...I always say, 'I‘m not doing my job if I’m making someone wear things' because I just think if someone gets comfortable in what they’re wearing, then it doesn’t matter if I think it looks good.” He went on to say, “There’s never an element of me forcing him to wear anything”. So - TAKE THAT, transphobes! We all recognize that saying “the mean gay man is making Harry look gay/genderqueer” is, uh, a REALLY bad take, right? Anyways, hopefully that’s the end of it, but we all know it won’t be. He also told us that Harry chose the (fake) pearls, asking “can I just wear these every day?” and they were only replaced with real ones after that strand broke, that he tried to get H out of the Vans for the Golden vid but he said nah, and about the Golden and WS videos “I kind of saw it as the same man just in a different place in the world” which, well- yeah? But the implication that that man was not Harry is interesting. Aside from that, we got some more terrible merch from HSHQ (including a shirt that is a glove with legs stuck on it, wtf), a few celebratory tweets from HSHQ, The Forum, Jeff Azoff (there's a theme here lol) etc, AND! A post from Harry himself: “I couldn’t be more grateful for you all continually finding new ways to change my life. Thank you for listening, and for everything else. I love you always, but especially today. H”. What? That’s his name, isn’t it?

But, of course, H wasn’t the only one celebrating online today! Louis came back and answered some of our questions about the show. The first is that he sold over - are you ready for this? - OVER 160,000 tickets for the show, making it the biggest online show of 2020 by a solo male artist, and the third largest overall of the year. Even the Sun had to admit how “exceptional” that is, describing the show as "the equivalent of eight nights at London’s O2 Arena." Doing the math, this means he raised over $3.1 million from ticket sales alone! HOLY SHIT! Hearing that, Louis came on twitter to say (in reply to a quote by his PR company lmao), “This is truly incredible. No major label, no radio, yet here we are. The feeling of support I get from you all every time I do something is unbelievable. Forever Thankful! And they never see us coming!”. Of course, this incited another round of label discourse, wondering if this means he is still an unsigned artist. Does this simply mean the livestream wasn't put on by a label, yes, does Louis absolutely know about the discourse and is he being deliberate, I would also say unmistakeably yes. Which is not to say we know ELSE it might mean -- is he signed to an indie? Still label shopping and waving how much more they need him than vice versa in the hopefuls' faces? Signed but the contract doesn't start until there's a record in play (which when you negotiate your own contract and establish artistic freedom, as we can be very sure was Louis' priority, is what labels DO - they don’t manage every aspect of an artists career)? Signed by a major label, but shading the FUCK out of Syco about radio play for Walls? What we DO know is that it wasn't a label that put the livestream on, and damn if that doesn’t make it 1000% more badass. “Memorable”, “powerful”, and “rare” indeed! He’s still early in the process of LT2, as he told us yesterday, so we might have to wait a little longer to figure out what’s happening business-wise, but he made sure to tell everyone that his fans were an integral part of his processing the most inspiring way possible: “the power and the magic comes from the people you guys,” I COULD CRY that's MY inspirational leader THANK YOU. He goes on to say “don't undermine your role in all this... together with your support we're unstoppable!” He also called us “fucking relentless” (god knows that's true) as Walls hit the charts AGAIN, and talked about how the money raised will go a long way. “WE did that!!”

And with that, let’s talk a little bit more about last night’s (“bold”, “extraordinary”) show! ‘‘Copy’ is making its rounds on the internet, but YouTube continues to take down recordings of the show, which SUCKS, because everyone should be able to see it! Maybe in a few days when some time has passed, they’ll let it go up without an issue, or maybe they'll answer our pleas (come through one more time Louis!) and put out a DVD (and live album too how about, YES? Yes.), til then there are the downloads going around tumblr! Good thing we got Louis' seal of approval or just imagine the discourse. The ‘H’ shirt Louis was wearing last night is a Reebok shirt, which was being distributed in a few different places, such one where you could get a discount if you used the code ‘HL40’ and another where it was $28, lol. Was it the loudest Louis shirt ever- I mean I would say an unqualified NO but many are voting YES and are reeling so that's really fun! Welcome to the gang guys. Not likely to win any awards for being loud with such incredible competition but still very good SBBing-- Louis was wearing a stuffed bear t shirt in rehearsal pics. When you know you know, I guess! ;) The band is also soaking in the praises (as they should!) and have been re-posting fans’ stories on Instagram all day (as did LTHQ) - cheers, boys!

Today’s Liam and Roman alarm was ALL us (well, not allll us, Roman did explain that the alarms would feature fans every Sunday, but then he handed the mic over). “Waking up to Liam and Roman is the best thing EVER! I don’t know why it gives me so much serotonin,” said one fan. I do! It’s because Liam is a real, live puppy dog and he’s so genuinely sweet to his fans. Love him lots, but I love him even MORE when he’s ON the advent alarm!

NEW CAREGIVERS:

Little space is a very vulnerable headspace. Please remember this, when someone is regressed they are likely to be more sensitive-to everything. Words, tone of voice, volume. Use a soft voice when they're small, unless they are a brat and want that booming "daddy voice". This is something you find out by asking questions AND time. Communication is so so important. While you are in the process of discovering and "just starting out" make sure to ask for everything.

"Do you want your paci now?"

"Do u want daddy to get you a snack?"

"Do u want daddy to help you with that?"

After you're both comfortable, this can stop if you want it to. It's just respectful to ask permission to be daddy right at first. Ask her tons of questions.

"What do you like?"

"What is your favourite colour? Food? Snack? Show?"

Learn everything about her little side. Daddies are supposed to be able to put their babies into littlespace without having to ask what they want every single time. Being able to surprise her with her favourite things is the best feeling! Pay close attention to what kind of regressor she is, there is lots of different kinds. See what age she is acting, and keep in mind it can change! Be prepared for any of the ages, including older ones like 8-12. Most of the time when you get into this it takes a second to find your little age.

0-1: likes babas, minimal walking and talking, diapers, super needy and clingy

2-3: more active, more temperamental, sippy cups, maybe babas, binkies, colouring, will try to do stuff alone but usually ends up needing help

4-6: "no I do it", playing outside, baking cookies, colouring and puzzles, sippy cups or regular ones. Maybe a binky still, some do some dont.

Try and help her figure out her age fairly early, as it helps create and mold the exact dynamic you'll want and need. The sooner she knows what she likes the faster you will both become more comfortable. Please note: YOU might feel uncomfortable sometimes. Even if you do enjoy it and love her that way, we are generally hardwired from toddlerhood that those things are not for adults. It might make you feel weird being called Daddy or Dada at first, but you will learn to love it.

A big thing for the beginning is setting alarms! Set alarms for EVERYTHING. Few examples:

8:30 am: remind her to brush her teeth

12 pm: remind her to eat lunch/make lunch

3 pm: have her lie down for a nap or quiet time

9 pm: be in bed

This helps create the routine and feeling of being responsible for her, which puts you in that "daddy space". after a while, you wont even need the alarms because you will look at the clock and say ope gotta remind her of this or that.

Make sure to never fight while she is in littlespace. Some people dont have this issue, as some regressors will instantly come out of that headspace during a confrontation, I personally am not one of those. If there is an actual issue that isnt like "baby dont colour on yourself", wait until she is adult again to even mention it. Littles tend to worry a lot about burdening or bothering their caregivers and sometimes even a sliver of negativity can completely ruin their night. Just as a simple rule, if she is regressed keep anything negative off the table until later.

Be patient! Some regressors are harder to handle than others. Some are sweet, some are bratty, some are super excitable and loud, some are completely nonverbal. If she ever gets nonverbal, do not get upset if she doesnt answer when you talk to her. Ask her yes/no questions about what she wants or needs.

This is another huge thing: ONLY IF YOU WANT

Find friends in the community. Use fetlife to go to munches or events. Meet people around you so she can go on playdates. This is usually something that happens after you've been doing this a while. My dada and I have playdates with little friends almost weekly and it is such a blast.

Finally, just remember this is a coping mechanism. She regresses to help her mental health. Help her feel good. Never ever use her littleness against her or take advantage of it. Never fight or argue or use rude words while she is regressed, this is a safe space for her. She should absolutely respect you too, but sometimes littles can get a little selfish or self absorbed and do whatever they want. Be patient, learn about her, do research! Tumblr or instagram AGERE accounts are great places to look for nonsexual inspiration and ideas, DDLG/ABDL accounts are great to look for more sexual littles. Be attentive. Do things WITH her, not just next to her. Encourage going on walks, eating good food, getting work done, keeping things clean. Littles THRIVE in healthy environments.

I didn’t think I’d be sounding off on Jodie’s personal life when I woke up this morning but here we are. There’s so much to say but I really don’t want to drone on for paragraphs and paragraphs so I’ll try to keep this short... I want to start by revealing that I’m a libertarian (I don’t call myself a democrat or a republican) so that there is no bias behind what I’ll write in this post. When it comes to politics I focus on specific attributes and goals of the candidates instead of just what party they belong to, though with that being said I tend to swing more to the left, liberal side.

So first of all, I've seen the “receipts” on twitter and I will say that they look legit; however, I don’t know how they came to find out about this guy’s identity in the first place. Here’s what I want to say about his political preferences: people on Twitter are freaking out calling him a “trump supporter” because he openly supported 2012 republican candidate Mitt Romney all those years ago. While I doubt his political views have ‘changed’, just because he supported Romney DOES NOT MEAN he also supports Trump - especially not after Romney recently came out saying Trump should be convicted, and therefore, impeached. The only evidence the “receipts” provided in terms of his support for him was that he was following Trump on Instagram, which honestly means nothing. A few of my friends follow Trump because they like to make jokes and argue with him about what he chooses to do, not because they support him.

For argument’s sake, let’s say that this guy really is/was dating Jodie, and that he is a Trump supporter: does that make Jodie a bad person? Does dating someone mean that all of their beliefs are immediately absorbed into your belief system too? Not that I’m aware.... My ex boyfriend is a republican, but I didn’t find that out until after we broke up because when we were together we made fun of and hated on Trump all the time. He wasn’t against the lgbt+ community and even called Trump’s Vice President Pence out for believing in conversion therapy. All I’m getting at is that people don’t always support every aspect of a candidate, so we shouldn’t go accusing this guy of doing things that we have no evidence of.

I also want to bring up the fact that Jodie is not American, and although Trump is discussed a lot in other countries as well, she doesn’t hold any responsibility to anyone when it comes to discussing US politics. And going off of that, she and her boyfriend might not discuss politics very often because she isn’t from the US and therefore doesn’t know as much about their specific issues, and vice versa about Boris Johnson.

Is it true that the guy Jodie has been linked to is associated with a political party that often has anti-socialist views? Yes. Does that mean she agrees with these views and supports them if they truly are dating? Of course not. I’ve seen people saying that they want Jodie or her management to make a statement regarding today’s information, but I don’t think that’ll happen. I won’t say that this silence will be caused by her ‘white privilege’ as I’ve seen some people say, but instead I just don’t think something like this is anyone’s business but her own. Why does she need to explain to so called “fans” the reason why she’s dating (or not dating) someone?

Okay I’m finished. I’m definitely open to hearing your opinions and perspectives! Because right now I don’t think there's enough concrete evidence to “cancel” her or shit talk her, if you do want to discuss I ask that you approach it respectfully :). Love you stan Tumblr!

hey everybody. i haven’t been Truly Active on tumblr in a hot minute -- here and there I’ve popped in with a reblog, but I haven’t really said anything, and frankly, I’m unsure if anybody who follows me is still active themselves.

Anyways, if anyone is here to hear it, I thought I would update yall on a few things.

Tw’s for mention of death and discussion of mental health.

In October 2020, I got married to my amazing and beautiful and kind and loving wife. We had a small ceremony in an Airbnb just outside of town with our quarantine pod. (My marriage, however, does not make me monogamous. I am still happily polyamorous. Our love for each other does not negate our love for other people, and vice versa.)

When I was 18, I was in an abusive relationship for about 6 months. I’ve talked about it some before on this blog. During that time, and in the immediate aftermath as I grappled with recovery, I couldn’t imagine that I would ever be in a loving romantic relationship, and frankly, even my platonic relationships were strained at best. Shortly after, my close friend, Chris, passed away. He had been sick for some time. It wasn’t a surprise, but grief has no rules in how it hits, and it hit me hard.

When I met my now wife, I was a wreck. I reached out to a handful of old close friends, but they weren’t in any better of a situation to support me. I vividly remember, in the first few months of our relationship, having dramatic breakdowns on her couch, some lasting all night long. I don’t have a lot of other clear memories of this time, but I do know that the unconditional love and support I received from her changed my life.

My wife is not and was not a miracle worker. She did not cure my mental instability. I am not cured -- but I have learned to live with myself, and my mental health, and the trauma and grief I have endured and continue to endure. I have learned that it is okay to depend on those who love you. I have accepted that there is no shame in seeking help when you need it. I have a whole chosen family now who is ready to be there for me, and who I am ready to be there for.

Earlier this month, my sister-in-law passed away from Covid-19. I can’t say the grief has been easy. I had feelings about Chris that I thought I had long moved past. I miss my sister-in-law. I am angry that my federal and local government neglected to care for its citizens. I am heartbroken that we have to wait until February 12th for her memorial, almost a month after her death, because mortuaries and cemeteries in our area are so overwhelmed with the dead.

However -- I have a chosen family that loves me, and has come together to care for my wife and I. Life will continue to have it’s ups and it’s downs, but I am going to be okay. And that is something that, growing up as a queer teenager in an abusive home, being in an abusive relationship, that I never would have believed -- but I believe it now. I am going to be okay.

I revisited an old secret sideblog of mine the other day, from when I was in high school, and that I continued as I struggled with trauma throughout my life. I can see a lost and sad and lonely kid in those posts of mine. He didn’t think he was going to be okay.

So I just want to tell the lost and sad and lonely queer teenagers and young adults out there that I love them, and that someday, they are going to be okay. Life will always have its ups and its downs, and some of those downs will feel the like the lowest they have ever been, but you’re going to be okay.

Behind the dark clouds, there is a dazzling light

You glance to the bedside beside yours, your room mate has not come back yet. Night class or maybe in the library, that’s what you thought.

Your eyes close one more time, letting go off the pain, grief, and stress away. Next month will be your mid term weeks. Your brain tries its best to not think of any responsibilities not to mention tasks and home works. You’re dying to have a good rest.

Your phone lights up one more time, this time along with the annoying buzz of an alarm. You bring your phone to your face and turn the reminder off.

“Greet your friends on Instagram and update your tumblr. Check along wattpad for any requests.”

A small smile appears from your lips. The bulking notifications from your fandom families, are waiting for you impatiently. You recollect yourself, energy, and mood. Chugging down a bottle of water, your fingers slowly scroll through today’s waiting replies.

You started off a blog and an account for fun, for your fandom purposes, and for an escape. Since then, you slowly make new friends, listen to their stories, and you even pour your imagination over fanfictions where you don’t mind if anyone read it. From light conversations, to deep talks, you learn how diverse and wonderful your new friends are. Soon friends turn into families, and families help you cope up with life.

Aside your parents and siblings, your fandom friends you made over the internet are the sources of energies you needed. They are your mood boosters; they are the reason you keep going on.

In a blink of an eye, your hands are dancing over the comment sections, replying and trolling people. You find back the fire in your soul and the laugh in your lips. Though everyone came from different part of the globe, with awful time difference, and various culture, you relate with them and vice versa.

The alarm went off one more time, and you sadly have to stop the social media time and stick your nose to some pages or review a module and two.

Your wallpaper flash the picture of nine men standing over a big stage, surrounding them are thousands of silver lights. The silver ocean, the one ocean you want to be a part of and drown yourself in. You cheer yourself up. Til the day you can be a part of that silver ocean, chanting fan chants in unison, seeing your role models eye to eye, and hugging those families standing on your side with the light sticks, you won’t give up.

Those nine men had a rough journey to climb the mountain where they’re now standing on. If they can do it, you have no reason to stop your steps. You always motivate yourself by picturing a similar scene. You’re climbing your own mountain, and if you take a small look over your shoulder, you can see the lights in their nine pairs of eyes holding back tears as they feel very proud to have a fan… a baby… a child… or a friend like you. They are proud for every milestone their supporters achieve, even more than proud when they discover you can keep going on… thanks to their effort to stick together for Aeris.

Until the day we can stand side by side with our idols, heads held up high, smiling through the worth it blood and scars, and hands over one another shoulders: congratulating each other for not stopping for making it to the top… let us all stay and support each other forever. Are you the One?

Hello all! My name’s Moolie ✧⁺⸜(●′▾‵●)⸝⁺✧ , I’m 21 and I’m searching far and wide for roleplaying partners. I’ve been rolepaying for roughly 10-11+ years over a myriad of platforms (Facebook, Tumblr, Kik, Instagram, Chatango, etc) and I took a break recently as I was graduating and the pandemic happened which meant I was swamped with work and new changes! Now that things have sort of plateaued, I’m now looking to pick up my beloved hobby with some amazing people. I’ve broken this off into sections so that I can address everything without it being a confusing mess.

✧ BASICS ✧

For starters, I’m looking for someone who is at MINIMUM 18, preferably people who are around my age or older are welcome, I will NOT interact with minors, full stop. I don’t have any preference for my partner’s gender identity/expression or sexual orientation, just don’t be creepy! All I ask from my partners is be able to provide detailed replies (I’m a novella writer so 4+ paragraphs on average), do not control my own character, don’t make Mary/Gary Sue characters, can play any gender or at least able to play male (as I can do the same), and contribute. If you can do those then we’ll be good buddies, I promise.

✧ WHAT I’M LOOKIN’ FOR ✧

Overall this roleplay will take place over email or Google Docs, preferably, with us keeping in contact day-to-day or whenever necessary via Discord! It’s easier for me this way and allows for creative freedom without any doggone character limits or weird formatting. The type of plots that I’m looking for are things that I plan on having long-term, over an extended period of time. I am into fandoms, though I only roleplay Canon + Canon or OC + OC, I won’t really play a Canon character against an OC or vice versa, there will have to be some EXTENSIVE convincing as I’ve had a little too many bad experiences with them. For original plots, I prefer a more complex plot filled with TONS of world building rather than something nice and slice of life themed, the more complicated the better! My genres that I love are: horror, supernatural (Give me cyborgs, monsters, zombies, all of that good stuff), sci-fi, period pieces (My favorite era is the 60s/70s) and, of course, romance. Plots that we create that have an amalgamation of various genres are my bread and butter, I absolutely love them!

✧ OUR CHARACTERS ✧

I fully believe in creating wonderful characters for us to play, letting our imagination run wild, that’s literally half of the story itself, the people we create and how they interact with one another and with the universe we create. I use actual faceclaims, not drawings and I want my partners to do the same, I don’t have a ban on who you can use so long as they aren’t deceased or extremely problematic (i.e Michael Jackson, The Kardashians, Trump, etc) in their day-to-day lives. I also FULLY promote the use of POC characters, as a POC myself, I encourage my partners to do the same, but of course if you have a preference I will respect that too.

✧ MATURE THEMES ✧

For the more mature side of the roleplay, I prefer that to be just as detailed as our tamer ventures, so I won’t be fading to black in those instances. I have no triggers so it can get as gritty and as dark as we BOTH like – I will respect any and all triggers you have, just let me know what they are and we’ll both avoid it! I don’t mind sexual content, so long as it doesn’t dominate the plot in its entirety and it doesn’t impair our story. Other than that, we can discuss our sexual limits and triggers in private!

After nuclear warfare engages all over the Earth, a disease spreads as a result of the radiation and a quarter of the remaining population is now cannibalistic zombies. Our characters must navigate through the dangerous and treacherous lands to head to the new capital of the continent where a supposed antidote is being created.

The supernatural have started to emerge from the very core of the Earth and humans have quickly erected an Academy full of gifted humans who are now trained under cruel and dangerous conditions to prepare themselves for battle – except everyone there also has an ailment or disability, a genetic predisposition for their gifts.

A city dweller is now thrust into hick-town, so-to-speak, as a result of their single parent shipping them down there due to their own bad behavior. They’re quickly adopted by a gang of fellow misfits and they start a trek across the country to find themselves.

Fan 2: "wouldn't it be nice if Kara and Lena were a couple?"

Anti : "Supercorp isn't real!! Lena and Kara aren't gay! "

Anti : "You're a hateful fandom! Stop ignoring the CANON lesbian couple!"

Anti: "You're all racists!"

Anti: "Lena is evil, it's only a matter of time! Lena's a murderer!"

Anti: "Stop hating on Mon El!"

Me: *re-reads conversation*

"erm.. how is the mere mention of the possibility of Kara and Lena being a couple hateful?"

"Did anyone even mention Mon El?"

" Are we obligated to give a shout out to every character on the show whilst discussing Kara's pants?"

"Since when is discussing pants or simply mentioning a head cannon couple racist?"

Why do I feel like I block some crazy anti every time I scroll through my feed on here or even Twitter? I mean it's decended into anarchy! People can't even say they like Lena or even mention the word Supercorp without being called all sorts of hateful things by people who don't know them and quite honestly have no reason to comment on their posts.

Kara gets pants and fans are happy, suddenly they are accused of bullying the show into doing it and taking it as a win even though Melissa has said she was cold.

Any mere mention of Lena is met with hateful comments about SuperCorp when it's not even mentioned.

Those that pretend to be calling people out don't seem to have realised that they are actually the ones causing the trouble. They comb through every post they can looking for any reason whatsoever to be offended. (Honestly GET A LIFE! this is beyond depressing).

Mel saying Kara loves Lena and shippers liking to think it's Supercorp is met with hate! 'a fight for Lena's soul' any head cannon that Kara is fighting for her love of Lena is met with hate! Where was the offense here? What did the poster do that was so awful?

The ironic thing that flys over the heads of people who do this is that whilst they think they are the most noble of people and have taken it upon themselves to rid the Supergirl fandom of these Injustices they are in fact the biggest bullies in the fandom.

Now I know what some of you are thinking, "well the Supercorp shippers are so hateful! They are the most vocal! We KNOW it's not ALL of them, it's the majority! But we're going to harrass and bully anyone who even dares to use the word."

So here's the thing, it is NOT the majority, if you pay attention you'll notice that most of the bullies tend to be the same handful of people. E.g. I saw a Supercorp account on Twitter that had thousands of followers, now I'm going to assume that anyone who likes a Supercorp account probably likes Supercorp, now can any of you honestly tell me that you have seen THOUSANDS of horrible Supercorp shippers? No you haven't. You've probably seen at best maybe 100 or so? So the percentage of hateful people out of thousands, (and remember that's just one Twitter account) is nowhere near 'ALL' of them.

The same goes for Karamel shippers, you've probably seen at best a few hundred of the same people. (possibly less than the Supercorp shippers because Mon El is gone).

Not every Supercorp or Karamel shipper deserves the uncalled for abuse they receive from people they have never even interacted with before simply for taking from the show what they enjoy the most. Whether it be canon or non canon. Whether you think Lena is an evil murderer or if you think Mon El is a misogynistic slave owner you do NOT have to have a go at the person who said it. Scroll past, that post didn't hurt you in anyway, you won't stop breathing because someone likes to think Kara is gay or that Mon El may have been better off with Winn.

Katie McGrath said herself it's art and you can take what you want from it. So you can take away the idea that Lena is in love with Kara or vice versa. You can take away that Mon El was awful or that he was a space puppy. You can take away that James Olsen sucks or you can take away that he is a nice guy.

Your ship doesn't hurt anyone at all because this is ALL fiction.

Now I know the next thing some of you will say "but those toxic fans shit on the actors to! Chris was bullied off of Social media! Mel and Chris even HAD to turn off the comments in their engagement posts".

Ok, first off stop giving social media trolls any credit. You can stand up for celebrities, no one is saying you can't, BUT spewing hate to anyone who simply ships the same ship as someone who was rude to Chris isn't you being a hero, it's you attacking an innocent because you think you're justified. Also news flash! These actors are professionals and ADULTS! They aren't children that need fans they will probably never meet or speak to spewing hate to anyone that breaths on their behalf. You may like to think you know a celebrities life because they occasionally post on Social media but the truth is you dont know them or anything about their lives. Chris is a grown man and you don't really know anything about him other than what he let's you know. Do you really think he's going to scroll through Tumblr proud that his fans are trolling people for simply not liking his character or simply for shipping Supercorp?

"hey Mel look at all these fans being hateful on my behalf? Oh look they're going the extra mile and attacking anyone who mentions Supercorp, neither me or Mon El are even mentioned on the post! Man I love fans that bully people on my behalf". << Yeah no! I don't know anything about Chris Wood but he seems unlikely to be happy his fans are attacking people. Honestly I bet he doesn't give a shit either way, he has a life to live, maybe you should get one to.

Also the comment in the engagement post on Instagram may have had the comments off, but the Twitter one didn't. So unless they are both incredibly dense (which I doubt) the comments weren't off to prevent hate.

The most bizarre things I've seen are:

"you don't watch the show for Kara? Well then you're not a true fan!" Sooo... You can't have a favorite character save the main one? When did this rule happen? Why didn't I get a Google alert that the rules on how to watch a show had changed?"

"I ship this non canon couple, BUT YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO SHIP THAT ONE BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE IT!!!" I can't even with this one 🤦

Oh and hating on Christ Wood because he's engaged to Melissa? I don't even know what to do with that one. But 'actors aren't their characters'. Shipping Mel and Katie in any other context than friendship is freaking creepy and disrespectful and I dont have to personally know either one to know they wouldn't thank you for it.

A few last points:

You are allowed to dislike or simply not be particularly bothered either way by a character even if they are played by a POC without being a racist. Believe it or not characters played by POC can be boring or crap in the exact same way a character played by someone who is Caucasian or Asian or whatever can also be boring or crap.

We have got to STOP calling people racist everytime they don't like a character who is a POC. Not liking one character does not make you a racist. I don't like James Olsen, it's not a secret, but I LOVE Jonn Jonzz, I loved Myrnn, I loved M'gann, i really liked Julia, I really like Col Haley and I like Kelly Olsen. Not liking ONE character doesn't make me a racist.

If you don't like the Lesbian pairing on the show you aren't necessarily homophobic. It could be you just aren't as engaged with them as characters.

You don't have to mention any canon lesbian couple in any conversation you have about a head cannon lesbian couple. Wanting Supercorp to happen but not being all that invested in Dansen doesn't make you a bad person or a racist.

Tales from the Dark Multiverse

Hi! Thanks for finding this tumblr. The plan is to share and write about comic books, comic book art, other things that interest me and such, thus the name of the tumblr. Maybe you share some of the same interests, or maybe you’ll discover something new.

I’m going to try to post as frequently as possible, but that frequency will vary depending on what real life is like week to week. On slow weeks, there will be more stuff, on busy weeks less. You get it. Hopefully if you check in now and then you’ll find some new content.

I work (worked?) in a comic book shop, but as I have been recently reminded, due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus epidemic, I am non-essential. Thanks State Government! Always good to have a self esteem boost!

Anyway… I love comic books, reading them, talking about them, (thinking about) making them and so on. Always have, always will. I wanted to have an outlet for sharing that while I can’t be in the shop doing it face to face with customers and random strangers.

I’ll be writing short reviews for what I’ve been reading, new stuff, old stuff, posting pics, etc.

Feel free to comment, but please keep it friendly. Assholery will not be tolerated.

To start with I just finished reading all of DC Comics Tales of the Dark Multiverse one shots.

I made this in MS Paint!

These started coming out in 2019 and the last one was released in early 2020. The idea behind each is Tempus Fuginaut, a sort of Watcher type character for the DCU (who I think debuted, or at least I fist remember seeing in the Sideways ongoing, a Dark Nights Metal spin off) observing the multiverse and introducing a story that takes an important moment in DC history and asks “what would have happened if things had gone differently?” DC’s version of What If? in a nutshell.

As the “Dark” in Tales of the Dark Multiverse might imply, these are not happy stories.

The first one shot that was released was Tales of the Dark Multiverse Batman Knightfall by Scott Snyder and Kyle Higgens with art by Javi Fernandez.

This was probably my least favorite of the five issues. Since the “No Justice” mini series event I’m over Scott Snyder. I feel he has so many ideas rattling around in his head that he begins one story, gets too excited about the next one and leaves you underwhelmed with the current arc but dying to read the next. (That being said I of course checked out Batman Last Knight on Earth, having read his and Capullo’s entire New 52 Batman run I didn’t want to miss their “final” word on Batman, but have not read his just wrapped run on Justice League which I hear was quite good).

I read this one right when it was released a few months ago, so my memory of it might not be the best.

This one centers around the Knightfall event where Bane breaks Batman’s back and Jean Paul Valley/Azrael takes on the role of Batman. In this reality Bruce never recovers and Jean Paul remains Batman becoming Saint Batman, a Bats Azrael mash up. Javi Fernandez does a great job on the art and Snyder loves chopping people up.

Gross.

Definitely worth the read if you’re interested in it or are a fan of Batman or just the Knightfall era. If you grab this series in collected format it’s not so bad that I recommend skipping it, just not my favorite from this batch of books.

Next up is Tales of the Dark Multiverse Death of Superman by Jeff Loveness with art by Brad Walker and Andrew Hennessey. I really enjoyed this one, it was a good quick read and had a nice arc to it. One of the better issues from this series if you’re asking me.

Right after Superman dies defeating Doomsday in the Death of Superman story arc, the rest of the Justice League shows up, literally as the blood is drying.Ten seconds too late. Lois Lane blames Supes’ death on the heroes for not being there to aid him.

She makes her way to the Fortress of Solitude and thanks to the Eradicator gets herself all the powers of Superman. She then goes about dishing out justice, with extreme prejudice, to the villains the heroes normally let the revolving doors of the DC justice system handle. This involves a couple of great scenes with Batman and Lex Luthor. Loveness nails the dialogue and the character arc he puts Lois on is great to read.

Walker and Hennesey do it again!

There’s more to this story than I’ve put here, but I don’t want to say too much and ruin your enjoyment of it if/when you read it.

Special shout out to the art team of Brad Walker and Andrew Hennessey. I feel like they don’t get enough love. They killed it on the Demon Hell is Earth mini, and from what I can tell are crushing it on Detective Comics. Dudes can draw. Spread the word!

Then we move onto Tales of the Dark Multiverse Blackest Night by Tim Seeley and Kyle Hotz.

This one was a bit wordy, but a lot of fun! I would put this one in the middle of the pack.

Seeley brings together an interesting bunch of characters including Sinestro, Dove, Lobo and the New Gods! The plot is a little complex, but basically after the Color Corps lose the battle against Nekron in Blackest Night, Sinestro is looking for a way to undo the damage done and becomes a pawn in Scott Free’s plot to do the same.

Give Seeley a Lobo book or a Hawk and Dove book, or a Mister Miracle book!. He gives each character a unique voice which makes their joint travels through the plot that much more fun to read.

Kyle Hotz’s art in this issue reminds of a 90’s Image Comic in the best possible way. Lots of detail and cool poses. I also see a lot of Bernie Wrightson in there with Hotz’s heavy use of black and the sinewy musculature of the characters. The book is worth the price of admission to see his renditions of Dove and Mister Miracle.

I’m glad to see Hotz working more or just seeing more of Hotz’s work. I don’t know if he fell out of the industry after drawing the original The Hood mini for Marvel with Brian K. Vaughan, working with Eric “The Goon” Powell on Billy the Kid’s Old Timey Odditys, doing art on Carnage Mind Bomb and more I’m sure ( I just can’t remember it all), or I just wasn’t paying attention to what he was working on. If it’s the later, shame on me, if it’s the former, welcome back Mr. Hotz, you’re crushing it and I look forward to seeing more from you. Let’s not neglect the oft overlooked inkers! I’m not sure who inked what, but on a guess, Dexter Vines and Walden Wong brought a smooth, cleanness to the proceedings with lots of nicely tapered lines. Again just guessing here, because I don’t know for sure, but Danny Miki used a finer line bringing a scratchy-ness the others didn’t but also amazing detail and clarity on some of the portraiture in the later half of the book.

Who’s next? Why it’s Tales of the Dark Multiverse Infinite Crisis!

This one may have been my favorite. When the original Infinite Crisis series came out it was a period where, due to personal lack of enjoyment, I wasn’t reading much of DC’s output, but I did read the Countdown to Infinite Crisis one shot this issue takes as it’s jumping off point. After having read this issue, it makes me want to go back and read Infinite Crisis. I would say that’s the sign of a good issue.

In this alternate reality Blue Beetle, Ted Kord, kills Maxwell Lord instead of vice versa, making himself the head of Checkmate. He then goes about trying to prevent the coming crisis. It’s kind of a tale about absolute power corrupting absolutely, it’s also an underdog tale about getting in over your head.

James Tynion IV does a great job catching you up on any old DC continuity plot points you may have forgotten or never knew about in the first place.If you’re reading Tynion’s current run on Batman, or his work on Detective Comics and Justice League Dark, you know he can handle a complex plot like this and does a great job condensing it all down to a single issue. Aaron Lopresti and Matt Ryan handle the art and they do a great job. Always happy to see Lopresti’s name on a book I want to read.

Bonus points: You can never have too many Ted Kord, Blue Beetle comics, especially when Booster Gold pops up, even if only momentarily.

If this series leaves you wanting more Blue and Gold action may I direct you to Booster Gold (2nd series) #32 thru about 38ish for some quality comics.

Final one, Tales from the Dark Multiverse the Judas Contract!

I’m not as old as my writing may imply so I had to read the Judas Contract in collected format about 20 years after it was originally released and after having seen it on many a fanzine’s (Wizard) best of list. When I finally got to read it I wasn’t super familiar with the Titans of the era and already knew the big twist in the story, so it just washed over me without any great effect. None of the shock that someone who was reading it fresh in the 80’s might have experienced.

I ended up liking this twisted take on the Judas Contract much more than when I read the original. “Sacrilege!” I know, I know, but like I said there was no surprise when I first read it, while this one zigged instead of zagging multiple times and kept upping the ante in scale.

Kyle Higgins and Matt Groom do a great job reinventing a classic that I’m sure many people had high expectations for. This was a fun faced paced tale. I enjoyed the hero moments Dick Grayson and Wally West were given. Like the Knightfall one shot Higgins co-wrote with Snyder there’s no shortage of dismemberment and disfiguration, which is neither a plus or minus in this situation, just thought it was worth noting.

Tom Raney handles the art chores here and he does a fine job. Some of the figures seem a little squat, and their heads are too big in certain panels. Could I do better? No, so who am I to say anything? I just noticed it, here and there, it took me out of the flow of the story every now and then. That’s all. Big fan of his work on Stormwatch and Outsiders with Judd Winick. I also hear he’s super nice, so if you’re ever at a convention where Tom Raney is, seek him out!

They seem squat, right?

It’s worth mentioning these books are all done in DC’s prestige format and are extra long at about 48 pages each. All covers are by the fantastic Lee Weeks. A nice way to spend the afternoon.

You said you have a person on trial. How do you test someone to make sure they are trustworthy enough to run your blogs?

I run a 2 week-1 month trial from the moment they start posting on the blog to see a few things. but before that, here’s what I do. This is based off of how I also handle other social media pages as someone who handles 5+ facebook pages as a chat/post moderator, 5+twitter accounts, and 2+instagram accounts. According to fans/followers who follow our professional work, it helps them feel safe to interact with us as staff doing our job (radio/reporting) and interact with fellow listeners/viewers consuming media, processing it, and discussing it. The same can be applied to other public spaces like these fan blogs.

1. What’s the person like?

I check out their blogs/have seen them interact before with other people in other online spaces in and out of fandom. This means how they interact with other fans, with interacting with staff/voice actors in public spaces. I love Voltron as a show, I just personally focus my love where it counts. Lots of people complain when interviews come out, hate what happened in canon. Can you be critical of things said? Sure. But the thing is, it feels weird to take anything said at face value when Voltron as it stands is not a completed project so things can change and how we see them as the missing pieces come together. I take everything with a grain of salt and see where things go and I hope the people I work with are the same way and are cordial when interacting with others on their thoughts on characters, ships, the show itself and when interacting with the kind people working on Voltron.

More for what I look for and how I run stuff is under the cut and the standard I try to set for myself and for others who wish to work with me cause this is more volunteering to help out, it’s not technically our content to own, its fan run, and nobody is paid. But if you’re gonna do it, you gotta give it the love it deserves.

2. Enforce set rules.

I got common sense stuff like don’t let bigotry slide when it’d directed at us as mods and people interacting on the posts that are hosted here. Block ant!’s on site since they are a source of a lot of why our fandom is accused of being garbage vs any other group within the fandom that’s chill, especially those who still currently openly hate/dehumanize other fans minding their business. Block them if they interact with the blog via reblogs/likes if you catch them cause that stuff spreads to other blogs who assume our fandom experience is for them — it’s not. For the most part, blocking is good if I’m/the mod running a blog is just tired and doesn’t wanna deal with inane bs or things we’ve already answered if a user or anon didn’t do their research to look through my history of asks and whether or not I’ve addressed their question/didn’t read our response because they’re not looking for our actual answer, they’re looking for something else. I don’t deal with people spreading misinformation like pushing br0ganes which is currently confirmed never a thing by staff repeatedly, pushing whether or not a ship is canon (I have even politely said that I appreciate sheith’s bond over at pics of sheith but never said it was canon as a ship), and I definitely don’t like individuals that shit on characters/ships or how others express their excitement over content or their interpretations or fanon fun. And I don’t appreciate when people get upset with staff for saying something wrong when the show is not completed and they can only say certain things in a certain way if they choose to answer questions at all then attack other fans and justifying it because they’re upset. Nobody gets to throw a tantrum and hurt others. Take responsibility for shitty behavior

3. Choose your battles - carefully decide what discourse to address.

I understand that a lot of people don’t have the time or mental energy to do what I do when I happen to bring down people who claim to have some higher morality/authority to speak from. Sometimes it’s outright bs and I block immediately, not giving my attention, move forward, nobody has to know about it unless I want them to. Maybe I joke about it. But that’s it. I’ve actually just skipped out and blocked some IP’s on this blog cause it was a “nah” kind of day. But I make sure to get a screencap, maybe even post it to my main blog because my main blog is linked in the description of these blogs so people can dispute why they were blocked from interacting with the blog. Then we can examine how I misunderstood a message if that’s the problem, cause that happens. It’s the internet so people’s tone of voice is lost, people might have brain issues that cause them to type up the wrong stuff or they insist they said what they said and I have to see if I’m not the only one “misunderstanding" it cause we’re all trying to communicate here, in the common English language which his a clusterfuck anyhow. It happens where I just can’t read shit but I have and try to rectify my mistakes.

And when I do address it, I do so point by point, concisely. That’s what I get for having a mother who is a paralegal and helped write legal arguments, deconstructs her child’s stupid arguments when he got in a dumb ass fight with her. I learned from it and now I can frame my arguments properly to follow logical structures based on truth, understanding how the English language works to examine what they said and what it sounds like, and show the true meaning of what was said which is often something pretty screwed up. They usually (as far as I know between one anon and the next) never come back to bother me again. Mods have to be able to have the stamina to handle it, and run it by me to make sure the argument is sound because we try to keep ourselves and everyone else safe.

4. be open to opportunities

If they continue to argue with me on my main blog which is where I’m fine dealing with discourse unless it turns into violent threats/harassment, I’ve already blocked them across the board at all the picsof blog urls I have in my account. But let’s say this person has come to understand why they are wrong…then I can find their name, unblock them hopefully, and everything moves forward and I keep tabs to show that they’ve changed their behavior. Hopefully because tumblr tells me if i block an anon, that i can’t ever undo it but I’ve also heard it’s still possible so who knows really on this broken website?

How I run this tight ship and expect others to run it (no pun intended).

1. Screencap for an hour or two - organize by character/ship -> season -> episode folders and number the images so that it’s in order frame by frame, then play around with the same image and crop accordingly just for fun. This gives random choices and variety for the next part.

2. draft and tag - for characters I use canon voltron legendary defender names

for a ship blog, i follow a similar formula but people get upset if they are looking for 1 character but don’t care for the ship so i try to be courteous and leave out characters and focus on the ship - hence the following:

then as a mod, i have fun and put my thoughts into the screencap at the end of all that when I feel like it, for example #keith looks cute here / #shiro just [redact] me / #wow they hold each other so tenderly

Do this until i get between 90-200 posts in my drafts, then hit queue at random to scramble up the order in which they queue. Will the blog visitors see a screencap from episode 1? or episode 10? nobody knows. But it gets boring if i just queued everything in order which is why I do this. Predictability is boring.

3. Set queue post to 3 posts a day and leave, this is a fucking hobby and isn’t your life - focus on what needs to be done, this is just low maintenance fun. (Look at me rhyming!) Follow the stuff above with how you handle discourse and of course the mod who should obviously love the blog of their focus can have fun with any individuals asking about headcanons/ideas about ships. I wouldn’t give someone who doesn’t ship Allurance because it will show in their work that they don’t care when they’d rather have Shance and vice versa. Or a Pidge fan running a Hunk blog when they’d rather do Pidge. For these other blogs outside of the 3 I’m managing right now, i might have teams of people simply because we can all keep tabs on each other and be held accountable for our actions if we make mistakes.

Tell yourself that the Angel is a metaphor for your happiness. If you want happiness, take care of yourself. You can help those who ask for your help, like Zwocky-san or Alix, but not those who don't ask for your help, like Vracas or CaptClegg, it's harmful to your mental health.

Stay focused on what you can achieve and vice versa. Think about yourself, but don't be selfish and insensitive. Try to keep an open mind and understanding of other people's feelings, this is a huge quality. Not a defect. Don't destroy it by disappointment. Remains critical and accept criticisms. Support your ideas and convictions. Encourage oral and physical communication, especially when there is a disagreement, you know the damage of telephone and written conversations. Afterwards, everyone makes their own film and it ends in tragedy. The best thing would have been either to talk about it face to face (which was already done when she was there) or to do it in front of a neutral mediator. It was stupid to let things blow up and hide in your corner in July. You say that you love her, but you wasn't there, you were silent, when things was blowing up for her. Maybe you both needed that to evolve?

After finding inner serenity, the Angel can be a person, but not before ; basic-simple rules:

First, never use people as a band-aid for your problems without caring of their feelings. Otherwise, you destroy another person in addition to yourself.

Second, don't pick up your phone when you feel bad or disappointed. You would have kept your mouth shut the night you saw that you were no longer friends on Discord, things could have turned out differently. It helps explain Kathryn’s desire to create a family with Thomas and the dream that the couple both had that things could work out.Â While they do co-parentÂ two kids, their romance has fizzled.

8 “Words Of Wisdom” (S3, E11)

This season 3 episode is memorable because Thomas hosted a dinner party and this became an iconic Southern Charm scene. After Thomas seemed happy to have his friends at his house, he began saying mean things about Shep and Landon Clements, and before too long, the party was definitely over.

7 “Craig of All Trades, Master of None” (S4, E5)

Southern CharmÂ gives some lifeÂ adviceÂ often and this is a good example of a time when viewers could learn something from what the cast members were experiencing. In this case, Austen really liked Chelsea but she wanted to keep things casual, and Shep realized that he had to grow up and be more mature. After watching this episode, it’s hard not to want to see what happens next.

5 “New Craig,Â WhoÂ Dis?” (S6, E8)

This season 6 episode is a funny, heartwarming one, as Shep got a dog and named him Little Craig after his best friend and co-star. In what is relatable for anyone who has welcomed a pet into their home, Shep had to learn to live with a new puppy.

This is also a stand-outÂ Southern CharmÂ episode because Cam celebrated her 35th birthday and had a bit too much to drink. It’s fun to see Cam let loose sometimes as she’s the “voice of reason” on the show. Those new to the show will want to watch more episodes after getting to know Shep and Cam better here.

4 “Outfoxed” (S6, E13)

While reality shows that focus on competition will always be dramatic, the series that talk about friendships can feature episodes that are also nail-biters. With this season 6 episode,Â Southern Charm fans saw how shaky Shep and Austen’s relationshipÂ was.

The most memorable storyline from season 6 was Shep getting mad at Austen for getting back togetherÂ with Madison LeCroy. In Shep’s opinion, the two were toxic and it was a horrible idea for them to be romantically involved, but Austen wanted to listen to his heart. It’s impossible not to watch the next episode after this conflict.

3 “White Gloves Off”Â (S6, E14)

A proper season finale of a reality show needs to have one unexpected fight and the drama was out in full force in the season 6 finale. This just might be the most important episode ofÂ Southern CharmÂ as Leva tried to make Kathryn see that this was problematic. Kathryn didn’t want to take responsibility for her actions, which is one reason why fans can’t support her anymore. This is a key episode as Leva wasn’t afraid to stand up for what is right.
