the thing is, Ran isn't dumb. many people tend to forget that, minds automatically rationalizing she sacrificed mind for body, utilizing the strength of her punches to break through problems than wit.
which is very stupid for people to think, Shinichi doesn't even have to be in love with Ran to know that she's the best, not perfect, but close enough to it, perhaps, her flaws are what make her human and that's the only thing that makes him think he has a chance with her.
but he's already losing his train of thought, was that because for all his mind was still sixteen, his body was ten years younger, brimming with energy he didn't even notice when he was this young before and therefore, quick to jump ship from the topic than to have a steady streamline?
he was doing it again.
The Point is, Ran isn't dumb. Shinichi knows that. Conan should know that.
but Conan isn't him and the lines between sanity and clarity over this frustrating situation just muddles things up a little. just a little. (it's a lot but he doesn't even have hands big enough to properly unpack the suitcase he's labelled his breakdown.)
so, he slips. he slips and slides. he doesn't know how to be six, even before, he's not what many call a normal six year old. his only saving grace is perhaps what crumbs of the acting lessons his mother once instilled upon him that he did manage to consume.
and he thinks Ran still finds out, she knows him, he knows her.
sometimes, he just wants to stop this farce and to tell her.
(and then he remembers dying. he remembers quiet screams and the steam of what could've been his evaporation, where did his mass all go, really? he doesn't even have time to think of it, mind quiet for all that he wished to speak.
the words always catch in his throat as fear and death grips it with it's nonexistent touch.
he'd never forgive himself if he lets the poison drip from his lips and it makes her feel death's kiss just like he did.)
Ran doesn't talk about it though, just looks at him and he pretends he can't see it, wills his eyes to fog over and retreat into his mind and goes through the motions of whatever kid activity he desperately picked up.
it's when he mimes falling asleep, that thing you do with closing your eyes to try and trick his brain to stop talking, stop thinking and fall, does she tell him.
she knows, she's always been smart, the rush of affection is suffocated by the icy grip of fear, of what ifs, of scenarios where she looks into it and—
she thinks he doesn't remember. she thinks Conan doesn't realize Shinichi is him.
he wants to laugh, hysterical and manic when she leaves and Mouri snores, his giggles are muffled and his ear drums ring.
the thing is, Ran isn't dumb. and honestly, he's starting to think she's right. he doesn't know who he is anymore.

Unnecessarily lengthy ramble abt losing interest and moving on with a new acc + last few bot/fic ideas I might post (feel free to ignore idkidk)
I’ve been having a hectic week regarding academic stuff so I have the worst brain fog rn, and I have a feeling I should unwind a couple more days before writing this but I honestly don’t care atp 😭😭
Basically, as you can see with the title, I’m losing interest in AHS, evan peters, his characters - all that. Besides Colin Zabel (he’s still my husband fr), creating content for everything else feels like a real chore now, whilst back then it was truly enjoyable and exciting.
Don’t get me wrong, I love writing and making bots, like this stuff is basically for life lol. But nowadays, it feels like I’m simply utilizing the evans as tools to write out the tropes I enjoy, rather than actually experiencing a desire to write FOR the characters like I used to ((which still can be gratifying in its own respective way… until a certain motivating factor begins to lack, if that makes sense??
It really sucks cuz I chalked it up to me being burned out, when in reality my attraction was clearly just plummeting as we speak 😔. What’s worse is that I’m really comfortable in this fandom - like I have super cool moots here, there’s no drama, there’s a bunch of evan characters for everybody 😂, and I gained over 500 followers, which is still crazy to me! I tried to “prolong” my interest for the sake of all this progress, but I think the inevitable has arrived and I can no longer keep up, my resolve is crumbling y’all 😭😭😭
I was hoping to wait until the Tron movie comes out in 2025, cuz maybe seeing Evan in there would reignite some of ✨la passion✨ within me, however I don’t feel like hanging around anymore, since I no longer relate to the fandom. I feel so out of place now, like a fRaUD 😩 ((I’ll still most likely watch it, but until then we’ll see
And to clarify, I will most likely NOT post and interact as frequently as I used to anymore. I’m not deleting this account, though I am going to make a new account to post The Boys content, as I want a fresh clean slate to start new.

Okay, so overall, I'm relatively satisfied with the ending. I also cried about as much as I would have done if they all died so my emotions are still all over the place. Do I think every question we had came to a satisfying conclusion? Not quite. But I think we tied up enough loose ends for me to be content.
And I'm happy they got a somewhat happy ending. Knowing that they get to live a life in relative peace makes me happy, and we know that Hunter, Wrecker and Crosshair at least make it another few years. Omega joining the Rebellion also seems apt. As an Echo girly I unfortunately don't feel quite as secure with where we left off. I don't have the same level of closure that I do with the others because we know that around this point in time, he isn't with Rex. But he also isn't with the Batch either. I hope we get to see more of him in future projects because I don't quite feel satisfied with this being the end of his story. He's doing too much for it to stop there.
Also... we were wrong about Tech. The level of delusion we carried throughout this season, my god. 😭 But it means I'm confused by some of their choices. The way they focused on being savvy with technology, the way he moves being similar to Tech, FUCKING DOMICILE??? Like, they have to have known that we would all go that way with our theories so why??? If it wasn't him they why was he written the way he was? I refuse to believe everything we thought was purely out of delusion. Does this mean I have issues with the way Tech's story ended? Yes. But overall I think the show wrapped up fairly well.
I'll try and drop some more thoughts later down the line once I've pulled myself together a bit, but for now I can say that I am content. Completely satisfied? Not really, but definitely content.

Actually no I can't let it go. As someone who finds TC hot, pls rank the MI movies based on Ethan's hotness in each. I have a Guess on the correct order and am dying to know.
ok so i have an order but i really want to know what order you would guess....i wonder how close you'll get. ALSO arc i need to know your order as someone who appreciates TC's physicality but is still on the fence about his hotness
i will say i agonized over this...and rewatched bits of each movie on the list to try to solidify my answers and make sure they were as accurate to my actual feelings as possible. every version of ethan has a different Brand of hotness, so I'll also go on little rants for each one trying to explain how i think each movie tries (and succeeds or fails) to make Ethan hot.
From least to most hot, including visual aids in the form of low-quality screenshots handpicked from the movies:
7. Mission: Impossible III
The thing about MI3 Ethan is that of all the Ethans he's the one who's trying the hardest to assimilate. Which means it is completely understandable that he is the most boring of all the Ethans. I don't blame him for it. It's just a fact, an unfortunate fact. He's cute, he's sweet, I'd probably like him better if he wasn't completely obscured by shaky cam all the time. Overall he's not striking enough to be sexy. He's got this very girl-next-door energy that's nice but not my thing.
Honestly I think MI3 Ethan's hotness falls to the JJ Abrams curse that hits this entire movie, which is that he's treated as an action hero instead of as Ethan Hunt. So much about him feels generic, simplified. I think if the movie leaned more into the way Ethan intentionally takes his teeth out, the domestication of Ethan Hunt, the devoted house husband thing, it would make this version of Ethan way more interesting and the movie way better. As it is, Ethan's supposed to have been out of the field for a while (a year? a few years?) but the second he gets back in he feels like a soldier to me. Just an action hero.
6. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
This is where it starts to get difficult (which is to say almost immediately)....Rogue Nation ethan is my dearly beloved. I chose this screencap cause i feel like the scene in the record shop encapsulates to me what makes RN Ethan sexy, which is his gentleness. He's got so much calm and warmth in this movie, you can feel it even as the action ramps up. He's also got an edge of vulnerability especially later on that goes hand in hand with the sweetness (shoutout to that one scene after he drowns where he's dazed and happy to see Benji, there's something so deeply charming about him there, and in the car chase after). And he's really handsome in that one scene with the purple shirt. My problem with Rogue Nation Ethan is simply that I find other Ethans sexier. This will continue to be a theme
5. Mission: Impossible - Fallout

I LOVE FALLOUT ETHAN. The vulnerability that we see from him in RN continues, and deepens, making for one of the more expressive Ethans we get in the franchise, an Ethan who feels worn thin, who's too tired and old to hide how much he cares. I love his little hoodie at the end of the movie I love the way he reacts to comfort from the people he loves I love him in the helicopter when he is devastated by losing contact with his team I love him in the bathroom scene fucking Wheezing after getting hit in the throat. I love his build in this movie, I love how solid he is. I love the shot where he starts awake with a gun in his hand. The thing about Fallout Ethan is that he's dearly beloved to me more than he is sexy...sex feels like too much to expect from him...this is probably his most asexual movie, it's the movie where despite being basically required by circumstances to try to leverage Alanna's attraction to him he can't find it in himself to do more than just stand there and take it, he's there to protect people and try to survive and that's it. That worn-thin edge makes it difficult for me to fantasize about more than petting his hair and tucking him in a nice soft bed and turning off the lights and then LEAVING. so he can REST.
4. Mission: Impossible
we've all seen the slutty corset we've all seen him and max but i want to take a second to highlight the tank top and specifically this one back muscles shot that made me snap my teeth at the screen the last time i watched this movie (last night)
The thing about MI1 Ethan is that he's just objectively by far the sluttiest Ethan gets, and I'm including MI2 in that. MI2 is the movie where Ethan has sex with a girl he likes. MI1 is the movie where Ethan has sexual tension with every single person he meets and strings along all of them for his own purposes. MI1 is the movie of the corset, the glasses, the pretty-eyes-slightly-open-mouth look, the long shadow of his eyelashes in the alley with Sarah after Jack dies. The problem with MI1 is that despite Ethan being at his sluttiest, and looking just gorgeous, and the camera loving him, I just actually don't find MI1 Ethan as hot as other Ethans. The hair doesn't do it for me. He's a little too young, unstable, desperate, cocky. He doesn't have the power he has later.
3. Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1
ETHAN IS SO HOT IN THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shoutout to this scene in particular which ended up pushing both MI1 and Fallout down a rank so I could place DR1 above them. Ethan Owning kittridge without ever raising his voice probably ranks among the sexiest things he's ever done for me. DR1 Ethan feels so earned--there's a deep sense of strength, a knowledge of who he is, and a fearlessness that comes from having survived this long. I love the contrast between his conversation with Kittridge in this movie and his conversation with Swanbeck in MI2, for example--both are films where Ethan is asked to take a powerful object from the hands of the enemy and transfer it to the IMF; both are films where Ethan knows immediately he's not going to fucking do that. But in MI2 Ethan is still young, still subject to authority, and he plays along. In Dead Reckoning Ethan says, "no." and it's really hot
I feel like by DR1 there's so much confidence in the handling of Ethan, too. There's a confidence in the audience's love of him and trust in him. It doesn't feel like we're being sold on him so much as given the privilege of seeing this character that we all adore. It kinda has the feeling of Harrison Ford in Force Awakens, except if that movie was good, and also if Han was the protagonist. It's pretty fucking powerful.
2. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
im such a fan of this shot cause it's the first time we see his face in the movie--incidentally if i could make gifs my entire argument for ghost protocol ethan hotness supremacy is That One Shot of him vaulting smoothly over the railing and dropping down a floor, which happens immediately before this--and there's so much tiredness and kindness in his face, it feels softer and older than anything we've gotten from him before, it's really striking. This to me is the first time we ever see what I think of as McQuarrie Era Ethan, you can see it in his expression and his eyes. And I love it.
This is where we get into pure indulgence picks. I love Ghost Protocol Ethan so much because I love how feral and flawed he is, I love how hard he's trying, I love how annoying he is at times (shoutout to the seduction scene my best friend the seduction scene), and I Love his hair. He's one of the most striking Ethans to me, especially in the very opening, because he feels so (as I've talked about before) purely physical, purely functional, or at least like he wants to be both of those things. He ends up feeling deeply genuine, raw, and grounded, because he's so sorta prickly and reclusive. There's a focus on his body and physicality that's outside of just fighting ability, that is all about grace and control. He's powerful in a way that doesn't need to be shown--he doesn't do a lot of fighting this movie. His power is all private, self-contained, gorgeous.
Mission: Impossible II
look, you know. look. it's just.
how are you gonna beat that? you can't beat that.
ethan is just so fucking beautiful in this movie it's absurd. I have so many screencaps that happened when I was watching and went "oh ok so he's breathtaking let's just take a quick shot of that." I love the way the camera treats him in this movie, there's a reverence to it, an indulgence, and also a playfulness. I love his outfits!!! I love that he's grimy, I love that he's utilitarian. I love that he gets wounded in the most aesthetically pleasing ways. I love his leather suspenders. Obviously I love his hair you guys all know how I feel about the hair. There's a kind of--no idea how to describe this--doggedness about Ethan, both in the sense of determination and in the sense that in the screenshot above he literally feels to me like a guard dog who's come trotting back to his owner.

you uttered under your breath, a book in hand as your eyes continued to skim through a lengthy page after another. honestly, you're skipping through almost everything you read through — some part of you admiring the amurata darshan for being able to understand all of this. maybe you should have listened to your lover's recommendation and read something else.
curious, you eye him from the side to see how he's faring. of course, you were aware that this wasn't as much of an issue to him as it was to you, and you envy the ease he found in being able to read through his share of research without complaints.
the wanderer's eyes were quick to meet yours, and he was just as quick in raising a brow at you in what you presumed to be curiosity on his end as well. but that wasn't the case...
“having difficulty?” he murmured with a subtle smirk of amusement. he was aware, not when the confusion practically clouded the light of curiosity in your eyes. yet you affirmed anyways. “i won't shy away from admitting that i am ‘having difficulty.’” you parroted his words with a little smile, deciding it's best for you to just put the book down. you could hear him chuckle a bit dryly at your affirmation, uttering a barely audible ‘i told you so’ only for you to hear. the amusement that adorned his face softened a bit as he heard you hum in response.
“actually — love, can you pass me the book you recommend at first?” the moment he heard that endearment, a rush of warmth rose up to his porcelain cheeks as he hung his head slightly lower to allow his hair do the covering for him. “mhm.” the wanderer hummed in response whilst reaching over to said book next to the small box you brought with you for him. his pinky finger coming into contact with the ocean blue colored gift box for a moment before he took the book and passed to you all the while avoiding your gaze.
with a simple thank you on your end, the area fell silent once more. just the distant sound of students coming and going, chatting about their deadlines or some who were studying in solitude. it's a kind of quiet that allowed you to focus in a way, especially while the wanderer remained by your side; it felt ideal. staying alone together in his favorite corner in the house of daena.
surprise surprise, what he ended up recommending you wasn't a book. but a collection of research papers from the vahumana darshan — researches trying to pinpoint the mystery behind tatarasuna's sabotagement, researches investigating the ancient civilization of the sumeru desert... it felt like skimming through a collection of reports. you gave him a threat-less glare upon seeing that accomplished smirk on his face. but you digress.
you spotted a familiar handwriting shortly after however, his handwriting, and you were quick to begin reading the first research paper simply and straightforwardly titled ‘societal issues in inazuma.’ it was the commentary he mentioned he wrote out of boredom while he was occupied with cooking lunch for you. a smile crept up to your lips at the resurgence of the memory.
that style... how much of a reliable yet unreliable narrator could he be? certainly the former when it came to discussing anything regarding what was once his homeland. and you adored every word spoken in this research paper. sure, it was harsh at some points, but that was just how your wanderer was; straightforward and to the point. hence the reason you felt such immense joy reading the commentary he wrote.
this time around, it was his turn to eye you from the side. indifference fading into a very slight surprise as he saw you smiling whilst reading his research paper, but he paid it no mind. at least you were having some form of fun like you usually tend to.
a while would pass, the once distant sounds of the students became more and more prominent as at long last, he finished the forsaken paper he was writing. and from the corners of his eyes; the wanderer spotted your left forearm on the table. naturally, he was quick to turn to face you and be greeted with your arms on the table and resting your head on your arms, the research papers you read neatly yet messily set aside... sleeping here of all places?
“idiot,” he mumbled whilst getting up from his seat, carefully not making a sound as to not disturb your peace. “this is exactly why i told you to stay home.”

it really is a mental health dip kind of a month i swear seasonal depression is mf real 😔💔 but while you take a backseat on writing etc (idk how you guys write so often like burn out would hit me after the second sentence 😭💀) here's some insane brainrot and perhaps inspo but mainly just blurb like comfort to think ab bc honestly why lie matthew may be a headache but he really is the best of distractions in such times <3 (here's to hoping some serotonin will roll its way over to both of us)
(dad matty universe ofc bc well-)
- matty singing his songs to baby annie and absolutely dying when she'd giggle to it
- babysitting annie mid studio sessions like can you just imagine the boys producing and recording and annie taking turns sleeping in each of their laps etc 😭😭
- matty calling adam at the randomest times to ask for parenting advice (crying)
- the very idea of matty holding a sleeping annie in his arms as they both doze off will actually kill me i swear
- any thought remotely related to dad matty doing dad things honestly
- like imagine him packing her school lunches etc and including little notes for her kms
- the boys taking annie on trips etc like imagine them all at the zoo gn
(honestly a pre-reader blurb list/prequel may be a need somewhere down the line-)

YES BFF HI!!!! seasonal depression is EARLY this year!! honestly, I don't get it either. Some writers literally write every day... if I did that, I'd die. I don't even write that much, and I still burn out so quickly
okay I don't have the mental capacity rn to discuss each idea in depth but let me just say; YES YES YES YES YES I LOVE IT.
(not very) brief comments on each one below the cut;
- matty singing people to baby Annie and she is just laughing like crazy... yes.
- do not even put this into my head. the idea of baby Annie sitting in Ross' lap while he plays bass. Or Adam takes her from matty when he needs to record a little vocal take, and he and Annie wave from the other side. Matty promptly messes up that take because he's busy making heart eyes at his beautiful baby (and after much pressure, he reluctantly says he was making heart eyes at hann too...) Or she's sitting in George as he produces something, she giggles and presses a button. at first George is like, "No!" But then he plays it, and he's like, "...wait that kinda bangs, " and annie gets a producer credit!!!!
(side note imagine them including an accidental take at the end of a song of Annie babbling or laughing... people are like "what is that cute laughter at the end?" and matty is like "💞❤️💖my baby girl💖❤️💞")
- it's like 12am, and Adam is just getting into bed when he gets a facetime from matty who is PANICKING. Adam is immediately like "bro, what's up", all he can hear in the background is SCREAMING bc Annie is clearly unhappy. matty is freaking tf out because "I can't find her stuffed rabbit Adam. it's been 2 hours. she won't stop crying. I don't know what to do and -" and Adam cuts him off like "matty, calm down, it's okay. didn't you put it in that weird pocket of your bag in the studio today?" and matty looks like he could literally cry of joy and just is like "YES I LOVE YOU BRO. BYE. SLEEP WELL." and abruptly hangs up, leaving Adam laughing and carly asking."oh god, what did matty need"
- perhaps a long day in the studio and matty is like "I'll just rock Annie to sleep on the sofa in the other room, be back in 10" and he simply... does not return. George comes in prepared to have a go at matty for being a helicopter dad when he sees them both open mouth snoring on the sofa lol.
- the idea of messy hair 3am matty trying to test the temperature of the milk on his wrist but getting confused at what it's meant to feel like. simultaneously rocking a screaming Annie and just trying not to also scream.
- OHMYGODDDD. like she's a little older, and it starts with a little note explaining something in her lunch, and she comes home SO EXCITED because "it was a note from you, Daddy!!! it's like we're spies sending secret letters!!!" And obviously, matty is now in full spy mode. they create a secret code, and he decorates them to say "top secret" on the outside. the notes are always things like "love you peanut! have a good day!" But we can play pretend okay.
- maybe Annie has become obsessed with penguins recently (Ross is obviously encouraging this and loves her giggles whenever he shows her his tattoo) and matty wants to show her irl penguins. matty offhandedly mentions him and Annie are going to the zoo tomorrow for the first time and the other boys are like "HMM??? WITHOUT US???" especially Ross bc like... hello he got her into penguins... the audacity from matty to be silent??? so they all are like "we're coming." thus a group trip to the zoo happens, and hann brings his little one and its just a family affair. sooo many pictures, especially Annie seeing her very first penguin and a group shot that a very confused old woman took for them (seriously, why are there 4 grown tattooed men with two children crying at penguins???)
these thoughts became much less concise as time went on...
I might have to do some prequel/early dad matty blurbs... if yall are interested???

Hope Dream Theory Pt.2 (Just a rant tbh)
Ok, so I’ve been racking my brain thinking about the NOT CANON taming hope part 3, I’ve never been so happy to be wrong, but now I cant stop hypothesising what’s real and what’s not.
Look I understand it’s non canon but the building blocks of what it’s saying to the player is already in game, you can still kind of assume that maybe Hope wasn’t being physically tortured but just mentally, and as a result believes it 100% in her head that she looks awful ect etc. and that means it is real, or was, because its what she genuinely believes.
But, If Hope wasn’t tortured physically, what else is real? Did Raphael really kill a kid and some family in front of her? And what about the boudoir? Dream theory could explain a kid dying and a family in that they were possibly just nightmares but if it was specifically Raphael doing the deed, it seems less likely, that goes for the boudoir as well, it’s too specific to be a random nightmare. (Look, dream theory can only go so far lol)
A few people did bring up that whether is was physical torture or not, Hope believes it was 100% real so, it basically became real anyway. The only thing it really does is make Raphael or korilla feel better about what they’re doing. (I want you all to realise that I am coping so bad rn, the cope is real) I understand that if taming Hope part 3 is ever actually implemented in game it may soften Raphael’s character a lot, that is if you believe that everything he did to her wasn’t physical but mental, it’s easier to swallow, though still deplorable.
It’s my personal headcanon anyway, and look, the guy is never gonna be good but anyway to soften him up is great, I mean if his half brother Magadon can do it, so can he alright (sorta). Though I do feel like this explains alot, since Hope honestly feels like she only exists to give the player a reason to want to kill Raphael, otherwise he’s just too charming and no one would bother to kill him.
It will annoy me endlessly that there isn’t more in game information, I appreciate vagueness as it leaves room for theories but I’m dying for answers Larian 😭 because right now I’m going crazy over an entry that isn’t even in the game, just the files AHDKSJSKS LIKE- Look I would love a way to have my cake and eat it too, free my girl Hope but like, NOT KILL THE DEVIL BOY, that would be great, cause tho she’s hella under cooked and under utilised they made her too bubbly and likeable, that or I’m just weak.
This is turning into less of a new development to the theory and more of a rant lol, and though I would like an answer, I also think I would die if it’s just he is super evil like his dad and did all those things to hope, because some of the things that’s been said that he’s done to hope feels way too much like edgy evil things just to be evil (like his father has done, tho I know he hates him but still ends up being like him lol) one reason I like Raphael so much is that he’s nuanced and honest to the player (also why I have beef with how strict the DnD alignment system can be) he isn’t like Mizora that comes across as your typical devil, Raphael (purposefully) is different and yea that’s sort of his manipulation, it’s still refreshing to see, but I guess oh woe is I.
Like for instance, the boudoir dialogue that Hope hints at- WHAT DOES SHE MEAN, because yes, I think we can all guess what she means but also what does that actually mean in context? That she’s been (yknow) or she’s forced to I dunno watch ? If she has been (yknow) does Haarlep have her form? If so, why even bother trying to break her if he’s such the “hopeless romantic” (also not canon) if that’s what he was after.
look even as I’m typing this I realise how I sound, this is definitely a rant, but I can’t stop thinking about these pixel people lol, but the whole Raphael and Hope thing will never not bug me, for multiple reasons; it’s undercooked, vague, and didn’t really get the attention it kinda deserves especially since it’s probably one of the dark parts of the story (one of many to be honest) like the content matter leaves alot to the imagination.
Bleh, I love my girl Hope, especially the letter we get if we free her, and it’s actually sad to see her state in game, she’s all over the place, I just have so many questions about their entire dynamic, like I can understand how it might’ve happened, she’s a cleric who probably wanted to save her sister and didn’t know much about Raphael other than he’s a devil, and he just happened to gain a sick curiosity or obsession with her, but everything after that, after the first two entires, WHAT HAPPENS?! I’m hooked, I need to know the full context, was it just nightmares or was some of it real? Did he actually love her or did he grow to hate her? Is she actually Hope or has she just grown to believe that herself? If so, How could Korilla stand all that?
I guess for now I’m just stuck with Headcanons, but what do you think? What’s your take on it all?

Sooo, I just wanna add a few things extra here, Raphael is not rlly redeemable, and I really don’t want him to be BLEH good.. he’s is 100% lawful evil aligned, but like I said, I’m not a fan of the strict alignments in dnd, I think from a narrative perspective it’s more interesting to add nuance and maybe soften him a tiny smidge, and Raphael definitely shows that and the only time it ever tips the scales to completely abhorrent is when it’s what he’s done to Hope.
He doesn’t need to become his brother lol, but you’ve gotta admit how interesting it would be to see something other than a stereotypical devil, because he’s a devil can help you out for their own benefit, but they will never defer from their “nature” but I think It’d be cool to see him have an arc similar to the companions, breaking their cycles and change for the better (or worse)
His story wouldn’t even have to be convert him but something akin (a controversial take here) to Astarion. Astarion has a lot of reasons to why he is who is at the start of the game that Raphael really doesn’t (from what we know) but there’s so much you could do with his character, even as a non companion. I mean, he’s a sadistic asshole, (just look at his debtors) but what was it like being Mephistopheles kid? He was a child once I mean, and who was his mother? He must still have a human part of his family somewhere, unless they’re all dead.
This is all unnecessary stuff tbh, not even some of the companions get this much revealed about their history, but even just ignoring his possible past, how is he even going to take over the hells? He says that his father and Co. are coming to see him and “negotiate” or something but how’s that gonna turn out, huh? Like he says he’ll be knocking at our door but is he even gonna make it that far? Coz what I’m thinking is, he’s gonna get nerfed bro. Now a dlc could answer this but ehhhh, that’s not for awhile, if at all anyway.
This edit is going way away from dream theory but also dream theory or in Le head theory is frustrating, (for numerous reasons I know) because it’s the default explanation for anything isn’t it? Oh it was all a dream or coma or blah bleh blah, while it can explain a lot,it removes just as much, it makes Raphael soft, (YES ITS STILL TORTURE) but it’s easier for an audience to swallow. I don’t want to throw this theory out just to make him seem less villainy or whatever, I kinda just want it so Hope didn’t have to actually watch some kid or family die, or whatever happened in the boudoir, real to her but in reality no one had to die or whatever, love that girl bro, she rlly got the shit kicked outta her fr, but then again that’s why you can side with her and kill Raphael.
It’s so weird that I’d want this sorta theory for a character who is so blatantly evil aligned but hey a girl can dream, ok? 💅 like I said the coping here is real, and at this point of the rant I just seem like a crazy person, (so true) so I’m gonna end it here, STILL WOULD LOVE AN EXPLANATION LARIAN, taming hope part 3 will forever haunt me lol

Norman entered the room and flipped on the light. You instantly groaned, rolling away from the glaring torture that was the lamp. Norman scowled, staying rooted by the door.
“Y/N? What’s the matter?”
“Turn it off,” you wined, “I’ve got a migraine.”
The light disappeared, plunging you back into the blessed darkness. You sighed with slight relief, though the pain still seared through your head. You honestly wanted to throw up because it hurt so bad. There was very little that was likely to bring you comfort, but Norman still tried.
Approaching the bed with purpose, Norman sat next to you and pulled you into his lap. He pet your hair which strangely soothed the pain within your skull.
“Would you like me to get you anything?” he whispered, “We’ve been working on some new painkillers at work…”
“I’m not really in the mood to take experimental drugs,” you moaned.
“Fair enough. Just… tell me what I can do.”
“Just hold me. It’ll pass in a few hours.”
Norman readjusted himself so that he was braced against the headboard. He continued to stroke your hair until you finally fell asleep. Your last thoughts were of Norman. You were so thankful to have him.
OTTO OCTAVIUS
The searing pain of a migraine was the last thing you wanted. Curling up into a ball, you begged God for mercy.
And that mercy came in the form of Otto.
He stuck his head into your room, pausing when he saw that the light was off. Just looking at you once told him exactly what was wrong. He left only to return with a bottle of water and an icepack. Without a word, he sat on the edge of the bed and placed the ice against your temple. Relief spread through your cranium and you sighed. Rolling over to look at Otto, he smiled at you in the darkness. His actuators swirled in the air, grabbing your covers to pull them up to your shoulders. Grabbing Otto’s massive hand with both of yours, you forced a smile.
“Thank you,” you whispered, “You always know what I need.”
“Of course. Be sure to drink some water. They say it helps.”
You accepted the water bottle and took a swig. Otto went to leave but you groaned in protest.
“Stay with me for a while? Till I fall asleep?”
“If that’s what you want.”
You scooched over to allow Otto some more space on the bed. He awkwardly sat against the headboard, his metallic tentacles draping themselves wherever they could fit. You crawled into his lap, resting your head on his leg. Hesitantly, he placed his hand on your shoulder. You gave a happy hum and closed your eyes.
“Thanks Otto… you’re the best.”
“If you say so.”

So i got sick for 3 days before and after like one or two days the cold come back. Google said it's because I am lack of sleep and get stress too much which is true. I often pretend to sleep then wake up again when the other is asleep. May i get the bad sanses reaction?

Nightmare: Sadly for you, Nightmare didn't really NEED to sleep so he would lay for you while making sure that you're trying to sleep and the fact that you tried to fake sleeping made him roll his eye at you "Really Y/n? Do you think I am an idiot or something?" he reaches over, petting the top of your head lightly "You've been sick for a while, and you need to sleep. So stop acting and get some sleep" honestly, if he needs to use his powers to make you fall asleep, he would! The fact that you were sick, got better, then got resick was annoying to him and he would rather not have to deal with that again, and the fact that you tried to act like you were sleeping annoyed him. Did you really think that he was that stupid? It's easy to tell if a human is really sleeping or not!
Killer: He might not even notice at first but when he wakes up, and you're not in the bed with him or not asleep, and you don't look like you've been sleeping, he's honestly going to feel a little upset. Why are you doing this? Do you just not like to sleep, or something? That's why you're sick Y/n! You need rest. He'll most likely pull you into the bed with him again, grumbling under his breath and move to lay on top of you. Luckily he's pretty light, and he tells you that he'll get off once you agree to sleep, otherwise, you're going to have to deal with him laying on you. Nightmare gave him the day off to take care of you, and he is going to use it to make sure that you're feeling better, and there's nothing you can do to stop him.
Dusty: He is the one that's the most bothered by the fact that you were sick, then got better, then got sick right on over again. If you try to fake being asleep, and he finds out, then he's going to stay awake and keep an eye on you to make sure that you get to sleep. He can't trust you to sleep, and he doesn't want you to end up dying or something because of your sickness! Even if it's just the common cold, or something, it's still worrying and he wishes that you would just get sleep without trying to sneakily fake sleeping. It really bothers him.
Axe: You can pretend to sleep all you want, Axe can tell if you're pretending or for real sleeping, and either way, he'll hold onto you and nuzzle you, purring softly. He'll hold onto you until you fall asleep for real, or until you rest for a while. He hates the fact that you got sick. He gets sick pretty often because of his low level of magic, just skeleton sicknesses, and human sicknesses are different, and you show yours much more than he would. If you try to pretend to sleep then leave the bed, good luck, he's holding onto you tight enough that if you're able to, somehow, get out of his arms, you'll wake him up and he would ask what you're doing. Just get some sleep, you silly weirdo.
Error: If you're going to fake being asleep, don't. They can easily tell if you're awake or not, and they don't care if you want to sleep or not. It's your body, if you want it to be sick for a long time they won't force you to rest but they really do think that you should sleep. If you can deal with their disapproving looks and slight sounds "So yOu gOiNg t-t-tO Ju-jUsT GeT U-Up?" they know how to make you feel guilty for not wanting to sleep, and they will use it against you because they don't want to deal with you being sick for too long. Humans are squishy creatures and it could kill you. So knock it off.

“We’ve actually, um, already met,” the prince interjected, his voice sounding rather small and pitiful.
Sokka raised his eyebrows in surprise.
“Wait, really?” her brother inquired. “When did this happen?”
When he saw he’d receive no answer from his sister, whose stony glare mirrored the prince’s from earlier in the night, Sokka turned his focus back towards his friend.
“It was, um, right after we arrived,” the Fire Prince replied, and she could see that he was starting to sweat just a little, which served him right. “I didn’t know she was your sister, though…”
Her brother finally noticed something was wrong, and his head swiveled back and forth between the two of them.
After a heartbeat Prince Zuko somehow forced a weak smile on his face, cautiously extending his hand to take hers.
No doubt he intended to raise it to his lips for a kiss, probably to regurgitate some nonsense about what an honor it had been to make her acquaintance or something.
Well, he would receive no such honor from her tonight, not after his vile behavior and insults.
Katara allowed her eyes to skim down to his pale, trembling hand before raising them to meet his gaze once more, her mouth set in a hard thin line.
He held his hand out for a few more moments before finally realizing that it was pointless, eventually letting it drop to his side as the corners of his mouth quickly shot downwards into a frown once more.
A faint murmuring arose from the crowd watching this interaction, marveling at this snub.
“Wait, am I missing something?” Sokka asked, his brow furrowing in concern.

This amazing fic has been living rent free in my mind and so I just had to draw this moment from it because the image of Katara death-glaring at Zuko all while Sokka is totally confused about it had me dying when I first read through it. Backgrounds are defo not my strong suit but I’m honestly super proud of how it turned out, used references of ballrooms and simplified it because I would’ve probably keeled over if I detailed it as much as I wanted to originally. (See if you can spot which of the shadows were my favorite to draw 🥹 I feel like it’s super obvious)

thanks for answering! so basically, if my dream life is to move in together with my sp, and be his fiancé, and have him to treat me like an absolute muse, like the purest blessing on earth (with words actions gifts all of that). then all I have to do is imagine this (I visualize a lot) so basically I can imagine a scene where i contemplate my ring in our new apartment.
even if rn idk where we’re gonna live, not the job I’ll have or whatever.
bc I realized I visualize a lot (once again it’s the method that works the best for me) for the now, meaning depending on our actual situationship. like I want him to ask me to come over this weekend, so i may still not be in the end end bc i focus on the instant gratification instead of us being in an apartment together, right?
and to be able to be indifferent is like ok i see what’s happening on the 3D but it’s not me anymore, even if I feel a bit of anxiety rising, I’m his fiancé we’re living together and he’s the most perfect man of the world, do i have it right ?
i’m going to answer this but i literally have the answer to all your questions in my posts if you just bothered to read them and make those click for you. 😭😭😭
imagination is not visualization, you can visualize but it’s not necessary. don’t focus so much on the perfect scene that has the perfect details and implies the perfect feeling you think you should feel instead of just allowing the feeling to guide you. personally i am a visualizer too but i first focus on changing my state by accepting that i have this new concept of myself and then scenes (since i think mostly in scenes) NATURALLY come up because i accepted that i have it. this being said if you like choosing a scene and using a method to get into the state of having you can do it and simply choose your scene, imagine it and accept it to be true in imagination.
why would you worry about him asking you to come over or text you if you live together in imagination? do you think that even comes close to the state you want? i honestly don’t think so. you are not dying to your state boo, you are still in love with your current state and you are not letting go of it.
this leads me to my last point: this is exactly why you get anxious. bc if you simply accept that you have it you will not feel anxiety but rather just a knowing, a confident knowing and peace hand in hand with faith in imagination being the creator.
to be able to be indifferent is to simply realize that what you are currently experiencing physically it’s just a state expressed, you can choose another state and experience it now.
if you’re in the state of having why would you feel anxiety??? you feel anxious when you go to wishful thinking instead of accepting it as true.

A few years ago I went to a salon and asked for my hair to be just above my shoulders. The hairdresser was clearly in the middle of something, like maybe a break-up because she was like... close to tears and kept using the phone and stuff.
Anyway my hair but was at the nape of my neck, like if it was any shorter she would have had to use a razor. Without me even complaining- because I just can't do it- the manager gave me a discount. Like I literally didn't say a word about it and she gave me a discount. That's how bad it was.
As soon as I walked out I burst into tears and cried non-stop for at least two days. I literally put on social media if anyone sees me not to talk about the haircut or I'll start crying. It was sooooo bad.

The way his semblance and aura are practically working against each other is a REALLY interesting and nice touch, and i don’t think ive ever seen it applied like this. And I love his “i went from nothing to nothing line” and how he’s just so glad he was able to save somebody. 🥹 it captured that part of his character so well and tbh the same goes for all the others (me @ ruby rn is going “bitch is you BLIND”). It’s a really neat touch to the chapter!!
I can't tell if you've read the epilogue yet, but either way I am injecting every keysmash in this message directly into my veins. Your reviews were one of the things I most looked forward to when writing a new chapter - I was excited to see which lines you'd specifically comment on. You're probably at least 20% of the reason this story got finished at all lol.
