T.v./Dramas Consumed ‘22 Part 2

Part 1

Stranger Things s4 vol.1

I was pleasantly surprised with the direction that the show was taking in the first part of the season. I really enjoyed Eddie's addition to the cast and seeing slightly more Erica in the show. I am getting more and more annoyed with Mike's character, but other than that this season reignited a lot of my interest in this show. Episode 4 was easily one of the best episodes in this show in a while and Sadie Sink really showed off her acting chops this season. I have to say though, I am not enjoying the Russian plotline as much. It definitely is investing action wise, but I don't see how it will all connect to the main storyline before the season wraps up. I loved seeing more of Murray, but bringing Hopper back felt very cheap. Moreover, I was not that engaged with the bullying El storyline or the Byers + El meeting Mike again only for Eleven to get separated. Also, when El was getting her powers back and was seeing her past memories, I thought that 'Papa' already died? I was surprised to see him still alive. The show ending on the cliffhanger was really interesting with trying to predict what happens to Nancy.

Again My Life

DNF On episode 8 or so… hopefully will finish it.

I was really enjoying this revenge drama. One thing I really appreciate about this show is how the protagonist starts to create strong friendships and creates a team to take down Cho Tae Sub. I loved his relationship with the old real estate man.

Old Fashioned Cupcake

Love it! Sad that it's 5 episodes but it's sooo good. After episode 2 I binged the manga and am excited to see it acted out.

Update: Finished it! I really enjoyed this show! It felt like the episodes went by in a flash. The show packs in a lot in such little run time but it does it so effectively.

To My Star 2

So much pain, but so freaking good. The character and the relationship exploration is soooo good. I love how much care has gone into the season. I have no clue how it will conclude, but the writing has been strong so long so cautiously optimistic.

Update: I loved this show. Maybe even more than s1. The continuation of the story, the characterizations and problems presented and how the issues were tackled felt very organic and real to me. This was a very angsty season, but it was a very grounded show. I liked the resolution of the issue, I think that Jiwoo feeling like he doesn't exist without SJ is a huge issue. I am glad that the show focused more on establishing his place of belonging by creating a life outside his relationship with SJ.

Yumi's Cells season 1

With the release of season 2, I thought I'd check out season one of the show and its so much fun! I love Kim Go Eun and I enjoy how the show is progressing so far.

Update: I completed the season. I really enjoyed it! I really enjoyed Woong's character - he was such a lovable dork. I understand though why they ended up breaking up as there were many issues in their relationship. I was surprised that the last scene of this season was Woong and Yumi's breakup.

Yumi's Cells season 2

I started it! I found that this season it seems way sweeter than s1, probably bc of Jinyoung's character. I am curious to see where it goes. I'm enjoying it so far.

Update: Unsure how the season will progress since they broke up. I don't blame her for ending it at all, but it was a choice to bring back Woong from s1. I am very proud of her becoming an author though!

I finished this season and I think it was overall far more disappointing when compared to season 1 when comparing the progression of Yumi's relationship with Babi. The pacing of this show felt off and there was NOTHING that could save their relationship after they broke up even though they got together afterwards. I enjoyed Yumi's growth as a person this season and her shifting priorities but the balance between her growth and her romance was not handled well. I felt like shoehorning Woong and making him face-off against Babi was unnecessary and made Babi look worse.

Stranger Things s4 vol 2

I feel lied to with this whole vol 1 & 2 nonsense they pulled. There was no reason they couldn't just release all the episodes at once seeing as it was only 2 more episodes. Watching the rest of s4 once again sobered me up to the fact that the writing in this show cannot be trusted to be good. Really, the monologue Mike gave Eleven was very cringey. WTF happened with Max? They backpedalled like 3 times in the finale. She died, gongs 4 times, then she's in a coma? Either kill her properly or don't, but don't pull this bs.

Eddie dying did not really make sense. He should have just climbed the rope with Dustin bc their job (as decoys) was done. I hate that only Dustin even cared that he died even though he bonded with them all (but Gaetan really acted well there so good for him). The Steve/Nancy/Jonathan thing was very contrived drama that was kind of funny to me but not in a way I care about the outcome. I did NOT like the scenes between Steve and Nancy they felt so awkward these 2 episodes.

The one scene that I thought was touching was Will and Jonathan's talk which reminded me why I was so invested in their relationship in s1.

The trailer for the remainder of this season was FAR more engaging than the actual content they released. It was legitimately the first time this season I was so disengaged from the show. It was definitely far darker this season, but what a shame they didn't take full advantage of it. It felt very half-baked tonally.

All of Us Are Dead

I guess I just need to see an outbreak movie every once in a while. I really enjoyed the characters in this show and felt very attached to most of the high schoolers in the main crew and the archery crew. Gwi nam was an excellent villain, truly a menace! I also think that the formerly bullied girl who became unhinged should have had a chance to go after him though, I'd love to see how that turns out but alas. I understand the hype around the show but honestly I don't know why they are doing a s2, though I'm sure they'll end up adding new characters and expand the world-building. I can't say I'm interested or intrigued at a sequel, but I loved the first season for what it was.

Re-watch: Stranger Things s1

I can't believe how many things I got confused from s1 and s2. Re-watching it made me rethink why I liked Mike as a character from s1 itself. Steve definitely was a jerk, but honestly I felt like they set him up nicely as someone who wanted to do better from the beginning. The most surprising thing was my belief that Nancy and Steve broke up and she ended up with Jonathan in s1 when that wasn't the case.

Abbott Elementary s1

This show was just very wholesome and fun. Loved seeing Tyler now as a teacher after growing up with Everybody Hates Chris. I think that the actresses who played Barbra and Ava really stole the show for me! Looking forward to watching more!

Link: Eat, Love, Kill

I didn't expect this show to be so dark in the first two episodes. I like how there are many twists and mysteries that keep unravelling. My favourite couple easily is the police exes. They are so cute together!

Finished the show. It was a solid show overall. I think the mystery show was done well. I loved the exes relationship in this!

Alchemy of Souls

I am enjoying this show way more than I expected. I am nervous as this show is 20 episodes and already planning a season 2.

Update: I finished this show. I have to say that this show had an excellent arc and character progression up until episode 19. Episode 20 seemed like purposely stirring up intrigue and drama to continue the story over another season and brought out all the major secrets all at once. I am not fully confident with how s2 will progress given episode 20, however I have to say I really enjoyed the arc up til episode 19. Also I feel that while I am looking forward to more screen time for Jin Cho-yeon other than being a love interest, I didn't like that her wedding was what was ruined to bring it about. I am glad that they didn't go full character assassination with the Crown Prince in episode 20 because he is so charismatic and such an interesting character.

This show was very ambitious and I think for all its flaws it has solid characterizations and motivations, the drama didn't feel too forced (unless its for comedy).

Alias Grace

I really enjoyed this mini series! It was very intriguing to follow Grace's life from coming to Toronto from Ireland up until the end. I will say, I am surprised at the ending of the show.

The Good Place seasons 2-4

I am glad I came back to the show. I really enjoyed this series!! I found the humour really worked for me, the characters are so lovable and I love the overall message of the show. Chidi and Eleanor continually being the heart of the show really made Chidi's decisions in later season hit so much harder. I love Jason's relationships with everyone. It was fun seeing Michael's character development throughout the show. I also really enjoyed Simone's addition to the cast! She was a delight!

Re-watch: Nobuta wo Produce

This show holds up so well! I was never able to forget that one scene when Nobuko helped the old man when he collapsed. That scene burned itself into my memory. I felt like I thought this show had more romance focus than it did in reality. I love the three main characters, I especially love and relate to Kazuhaya on a different level than the other two, but I love how the trio balance each other out. I love how weird everyone was at their school including the teachers. I really enjoyed re-watching this show!!

Derry Girls Season 3

I am so sad that this show is over, but I am glad that it ended well. I really loved all the characters and watching them get up to their insane shenanigans. This season was just as funny as the previous ones and just as heartfelt. Absolute twist they pulled with Uncle Colm finding Eammon boring lol. When this show ended, I totally get why the actor who plays James ships his character with Erin so much.

Re-watch: Stranger Things s2

I finally finished this and I have to say this season is way better upon re-watch. I remember thinking that this season was not to par of the original, but I really enjoyed the possession arc with Will. I think it was the first real season we got more insight into his personality and Noah really shone in this season.

I loved seeing the scenes with Mike/Will and seeing Lucas and Max's relationship develop. I think the most controversial and hated episode with Eleven and Kali was exaggerated too much. It fit the tone of the show and I really enjoyed El's rock/emo/outcast phase. Especially coming off of where Eleven was mentally it fit in well. Tbh I would love if Kali reappears at one point in the show (though I won't hold out hope). It does bother me that El's storyline with her mom which was a fun plot thread this season was NOT resolved nor ever mentioned again. Same thing with El reclaiming her birth name - Jane. I hope there is some resolution for this in s5...

Also, I did not remember how Barb and her family got closure due to Nancy/Johnathan and Murray's help. I appreciate that Steve and Nancy grew apart due to how her guilt consumed her. It was done well and made a lot of sense. Steve the babysitter set-up and his friendship with Dustin beginning was another highlight this season.

Little Women (Tvn)

This was a fun and WILD ride. I watched it bc it has my two girls - my faves Nam Ji Hyun <3 and Kim Go Eun <3. I have to say this show was super trippy and twisty but also at times very straight-forward and formulaic. The whole show felt like a juxtaposition given how the characters and plot were written. It is visually stunning but you really need to shut of your brain to watch imo (and really escape into the absurdity). I had a lot of fun with this show and it is enjoyable though not for everyone.

Interview with a Vampire

Its so good!!! On the edge of my seat each episode. The relationship is so interesting because of how complex each character is. The dialogue at times is so poetic. Looking forward to more! Must read the books as well!

Koisenu Futari

Finally found the subs for this show (after months of wanting to see it) and it is my type for sure! I am flying through it because its so good and fun. I am trying to make it last more than a binge. I love the characters and how the are growing and influencing each other. I love the questions the show raises and how it portrays asexuality and aromanticism as well as questioning 'what makes a family?' I love the emphasis on the diversity of opinions and mutual respect while recognizing everyone has their own ideas on how to live their lives.

Silent

What a masterpiece of a show. I am obsessed with all the characters. Such an interesting show and love all the discourse around Sakurai Sou's disability and him learning to open back up to people.

Lookism (anime)

I really enjoyed how the webtoon was animated for the short 8 episodes. I like how much it adds to the experience getting to listen to the song that the mc sings at the concert in the final episode and watching all the fight scenes. Time to continue reading the webtoon.

Summer Strike

So... I thought this was going to be a cozy slice-of-life watch (though ngl I mainly watched for Im Siwan). I loved the main two characters and the slow nature of the show. I have to see that the ending felt super rushed which really dampened my experience with this show. The relationships between the characters felt rushed and could have been fleshed out more to make it more impactful.

pairing: oikawa x gn!reader word count, genre: 1.1k words. fluff. warnings: none! summary: oikawa is popular and, unfortunately, you're the one who's always giving him presents from his admirers.

“Excuse me. Can you give this to Oikawa?”

You’re stopped by an unfamiliar voice just as you were about to enter the classroom. Turning to the side, there’s a girl holding a paper bag. Her head is slightly bowed as she waits for your reply.

“What’s your name and class?” You pry the gift from her hands. Peeking inside, there is a box with cupcakes topped with colorful frostings.

She beams and an excited energy surrounds her. “Mayu! I’m from Class 2-B!”

The bell loudly sounds through the speakers, signaling the start of the day.

“I should go.” She grabs your hands and looks at you hopefully. “I’m counting on you. Thanks!” She turns on her heels and runs to her room which was probably located below the seniors’ floor.

It was the fourth time that week that someone had asked you to pass something to Oikawa. Sighing, you make your way to his desk and drop the bag on the table.

Startled, he pauses his writing and looks at you wide-eyed. Before he could say something, you point to the item in front of him.

“Mayu from Class 2-B asked to give this to you.”

It took everything you had to stop yourself from rolling your eyes. It was getting ridiculous at this point. Couldn’t his fangirls find someone else to bother with their requests?

Oikawa chuckles, “Another delivery, huh?” He takes the box out and admires the sweets. “Would you like to try some?”

This time, you couldn’t stop yourself from scoffing. “I’m going to my seat now.” As you turned your back and walked away, you could hear Oikawa teasing you about how you’re probably missing out on the best cupcakes ever made.

Luckily, the teacher came in before you could even hit him with your bag.

“Next week, we’re having an activity in pairs. I want you to decide on your partners already so we can save time in class.”

The class erupts in cheers and the students are already talking over one another before the teacher could even finish her announcement. She tries to silence everyone but to no avail.

To her luck, the lunch bell chimes, and everyone stands up almost too quickly as they say their goodbyes and vacate the laboratory. Just before she exits the room, she reminds you to collect the papers and drop them at the faculty.

Which is how you found yourself currently alone at the room, going over the names written in each of them to make sure everyone has turned in their assignment.

“Aren’t you going to eat?”

You hear his voice as Oikawa plops himself beside you. He moves closer with absolutely no regard of space between the two of you.

“What are you doing here?”

“What are you still doing here?” He retorts, opting to place his arm on the table and rest his chin on his open palm.

“I need to submit these papers first.” You pause in your task to glance at him. “Did you already send yours in?”

He surprises you when he dramatically slams the table. “Of course, do you think so lowly of me?” A hand goes to rest on his chest, his head hangs low as he feigns betrayal and pain.

You stare at him unamused, “You’re a terrible actor.”

He grins, a playful glint behind his eyes as he watches you. “So are you.”

Oikawa stays rooted in his position as you gather the papers. He follows your every move and when you’re about to head for the door, he grabs your wrist and pulls you back to his chest.

He hums as he wraps his arms around you, nuzzling his face in the crook of your neck as he breathes in your scent.

You tense under his clutches but eventually relax when you realize that it was only the two of you in the room. Hidden from the prying eyes and judging whispers of the student body.

In his arms, you were safe.

“How were the cupcakes earlier?” You joked as you got comfortable in his embrace. Oikawa laughs and separates himself from you, turning you to face him and you stood under his gaze.

“It was the most delicious cupcakes that I’ve ever tasted,” he chides. “Honestly, it made me realize that yours could use more work. You should get some tips from... Wait. What was her name?”

He’s backing away from you the minute he catches your eyes narrowing. Oikawa could practically feel you seething with annoyance and he was right when you started advancing towards him and punching his arms.

“Was it Yumi? Or Kimi?” He sputters out as he’s doubled in laughter.

“It’s Mayu!” You almost shout before groaning and stomping away, but he catches you once again.

“If you loved those sweets so bad, why don’t you go to her right now?” You try to look at anywhere but him.

But he’s already cupping your cheeks, his voice low when he confesses, “Why would I do that when I’ve got my perfect, smart, and extraordinary partner right here?”

“Flattery won’t get you anywhere.” You scoff, remembering how it was the same exact words he’d used when he first admitted his feelings for you.

“It already worked though.” He presses a kiss on your forehead. “I have you.”

You were speechless yet again. Flustered at his words which Oikawa always knew had an effect on you.

“God, how would your fangirls react if they found out you were this cheesy?” You run your hands along his chest, smoothing out the creases in his shirt and fixing his collar.

“Well, they wouldn’t because I’m yours. You’re the only one allowed to hear my corny jokes and pick-up lines.”

You found yourself laughing along with him in the middle of the quiet room. Being with Oikawa definitely wasn’t easy, especially when no one knew that he was already off the market.

The constant favors from different students from different classes. The weekly rumors that would pop up about him being seen with other people. About him being confessed to almost every day.

However, one thing kept you sane and it was him. Next to volleyball, the other thing he loves is you.

When he brought up the topic of keeping your relationship on the down low, you had your doubts whether he really wanted to be with you. But as someone who has all his business known to the public, you were the one thing he wanted to keep for himself.

Moments like these, when you would be hiding from others and stealing kisses and touches, belonged only to you and him. Oikawa savored these little things and so did you.

“I really should go give this to the teacher already,” you muttered. “Are you still coming by the house after practice?”

Oikawa detaches from you and heads to the door to exit first. “Yeah, want me to bring anything?”

“Just bring yourself.”

He smirks, “See you.”

I love you, he mouths. He doesn’t even wait for your reply anymore as he leaves the room because he knows.

You love him too.

-Small Ghostie plush:A small seemingly handmade ghost plushie, this was the collaborative work of Kanade and Yumi (Lana’s girlfriend)

Hiroshi takes the gifts and one by one smiles at them softly. “Thank you very much dear, that’s quite thoughtful of you! And please, send my regards to your team!”

“These are all perfect to go in my office, it’s almost cute in a way.” He looks particularly at the Mr. Spooks plush in his hand and something flashes across his eyes.

He plans to put it on his desk tomorrow.

“Also, do tell Lana that she needn’t worry about our incident. I’m perfectly fine and have long since forgiven her, after all, it wouldn’t be very wise to start conflict with another team out in the eyes of the public. That’s a bad reputation I’d rather not have. ~”

Baby!Into1 x Daycare au | Intro

(ft. Bo Yuan as the caretaker of the 10 chaotic bunch, ranging from the ages of 3-5)

a/n: hello hello yumi here~ so this is the first into1 au of mine that will ever see the light of day. at first I was going to write things for it, but honestly I'm going to make it into a series with incorrect quotes to attach with it. this post will be the bios of all the babies and our lovely caretaker Bo Yuan, so enough of me babbling and I hope you guys could enjoy~

First off, we have the Caretaker™ Bo Yuan:

my mans is like in his 20's rn

wanted to open up a little day care as like side job/internship because he wanted to teach kids in the future so he was like “might as well start working with kids now!”

and so

he did it

only regretted his life decisions when his devil number 1 and devil number 2 does something bad

other times he really enjoy looking after them! and he doesn’t even feel like it’s a job!

has been thinking about taking a field trip with all 10 of them but he’s afraid: 1) he might lose one 2) he might lose himself 3) can they behave themselves

his favorite thing to do is having all of them gather around while reading a fairytale to them for nap time

or sometimes he would sing a song

he has a lot of favorite things in day care, literally having all 10 of them just there makes him happy

except when lin mo and nine is having a scream off:

very quiet, just likes to sit and read and draw

the most obedient one, and likes to follow around bo yuan

he’s played a few pranks on bo yuan like:

bo yuan: liu yu nap time is over you have to wake up

liu yu: *not moving*

bo yuan, gently nudged liu yu: liu yu wake up!

liu yu: *continues to fake sleep and not move*

bo yuan: *leans closer to liu yu’s face to make sure hes not sick or has a fever*

liu yu, scares bo yuan: WAH

bo yuan: liu yu dont do that! you scared me!

liu yu: *giggles*

likes to stretch and bend himself in odd positions

(bo yuan: everyday I’m in fear that he will snap himself in half)

kinda an introvert but once he hangs around everyone for a bit he will open up to them and fit himself in very well

likes to organize and keep things how he found them/have special places where he organizes his toys

jiayuan: *moves liu yu’s fan*

liu yu: hey! put that back!!

has really good etiquettes and never really fights or argues or bicker with the other kids

but likes to joke around and mess around with once in a while

patrick: wahhh i put my cupcakes here who took one!

liu yu, hiding it behind his back: idk maybe keyu took it?

the least of bo yuan’s worries since he’s always in bo yuan’s sight, also he’s aware of his surroundings so he actually helps bo yuan make sure everything’s okay

(bo yuan: i made a checklist for myself on the whiteboard and liu yu likes to check things off for me, he said “coloring in the boxes is fun” so now he's the reason why i get all my work done)

really likes bo yuan, would stick on to him a lot and ask him about everything

riki is older than him but would hold riki’s hand and take him around like a didi

also really likes racing with mika for E V E R Y T H I N G

(bo yuan: yeah couple days ago they tried to race who can fall asleep faster but because they kept on peeking at each other so they basically didn’t sleep till i said i’ll watch for them)

really likes to dance, every time he hears music he would start grooving around

loves learning new things, which is probably the reason why he always asks bo yuan so many questions

also least one of bo yuan’s worries, just gotta make sure jiayuan and lin mo don’t pull pranks on him

(bo yuan: well they dont really pull prank pranks, its just once lin mo grabbed a frog and started running around and showing it to everyone, but lin mo lost grip and the frog jumped on santa)

Rikimaru:

5 years old

looks like he’s 3, acts like he’s 3, but is actually 5

best friends with santa! always sticks around him and likes to tug on a corner of his shirt out of habit

bo yuan: alright everyone it’s nap time! i’ve made the beds for everyone

riki, sees his bed is not next to santa: bo yuan gege can you switch my bed next to santa? i wanna be next to santa

he didn’t start speaking till he was 4 so he often stutters when he talk and just looks confused a lot (it's because he’s thinking and formulating his words)

santa and the other kids would always have to interpret for him

bo yuan: riki I brought some snacks today do you want cookies or marshmallows?

riki: ???

santa, motioning with his hands: bo yuan gege said do you want the white fluffies or brown crunchies

riki: oh! crunchies!

squishy cheeks,, bo yuan’s favorite thing is to squish his cheek everytime he sees him

riki: gud mooning bo yuan gege!

bo yuan, squishes riki’s cheeks: ahh I haven’t seen you in so long good morning!!

nine: wait wasnt riki here yesterday??

also likes to stretch,, often seen around with liu yu and they just help each other

(bo yuan: i am afraid he will snap himself in half too)

not too much of bo yuan’s worries, besides the fact that he might get kidnapped because he’s so oblivious

(bo yuan: we were playing outside in the yard once and riki just wandered off because he thought the neighbor’s flowers were pretty)

also kinda an introvert, doesn’t interact with too many people

usually it’s santa that approaches him first or keyu^^

found a ukulele in the toy bin one time and wouldn’t let go of it (he claims it’s his now)

his favorite activity at daycare is when they all sing together, that’s when he smiles the most and has the most fun

the one that likes to nap the most

also likes to help bo yuan cook once in a while (mostly just having mika washing vegetables and passing things to bo yuan)

very laid back and not noisy (till he starts playing the ukulele)

often gets scared by lin mo’s sudden screams (actually, lin mo scares a lot of people, sorry to mika’s ears)

also not one of bo yuan’s worries, literally there’s nothing to worry about with mika, all the kids just likes to sit around mika and pet his head so he keeps everyone safe

(bo yuan: one time I couldn’t find any of the kids in the play room, apparently they were all in the napping corner petting mika’s head since he just got a hair cut)

Nine:

4 years old

loud, very loud.

pouts a lot

everyone calls nine cute, even the boys who are younger than him

likes to boss around patrick because he’s older

nine: patrick gimme that juice box!

patrick: you’re closer you get it!

nine: i’m older than you!

literally scared of everything

if he hasn’t seen it before and it’s living, he’s scared

jiayuan: *holds a bowl of tadpoles*

nine, several feet away: WAHHH WHAT IS THAT

the happiest when he gets snacks + real food food

also really likes to sing!! his favorite thing is watching disney movies because there’s so much music in it and he just loves to sing along

he’s not part of bo yuan’s worries because he’s literally scared of everything, but nine is really naive and would do things that the other kids tell him to do so, it’s a 50/50 on nine

(bo yuan: there was an edible decorative flower on keyu’s birthday cake couple days ago, and somehow jiayuan convinced nine all flowers were edible. so today during outside time nine almost ate the neighbor’s flowers)

Lin Mo:

3 years old

LOUD. VERY LOUD.

probably the craziest most hyper one out of them all

he and jiayuan always have something bad planned

literally doesn’t have a moment where he’s calm

constantly in bickering mode with ak

lin mo: NO IM RIGHT

ak: NO. IM RIGHT

patrick: what are they arguing about?

keyu: *shrugs*

but is also best friends with ak so he’s also calm around him

(bo yuan: yeah these two have on and off days, you can never predict it)

and also constantly naruto runs around the daycare

bo yuan: lin mo stop running!

lin mo: *nyoom*

he also once nyoomed into keyu

keyu: ow what was that for?

lin mo: you were in my way!

and now he nyooms into keyu for fun

a very good mood maker

likes to smile/laugh a lot

would calm down if you show him a movie or a cartoon

number 2 on bo yuan’s worry list because he’s the "bad influence" for everyone, also he reduces hearing for everyone

(bo yuan: i’ve secretly made a tally book on how many times i have to say “lin mo” in a concerning tone this week and he came in 2nd. he was only here for like 3 days!)

Zhang Jiayuan:

3 years old

YOURE THREE STOP SMIRKING LIKE THAT

couple months younger than lin mo but this is the real culprit under a lot of his and lin mo‘s plans

it’s just because jiayuan has a lot of crazy ideas and he says them out loud and lin mo is just like “yes”

also sometimes they are just accidents, but he's always doing weird questionable things with lin mo

got really sad one time because he brought tadpoles and put them in the fish tank and killed them since the fish went nom

but then started to constantly catch for tadpoles to feed the fishes

bo yuan: jiayuan stop, you’re killing the frog population!

jiayuan: but the fishies are hungry *pouts*

likes to fight/mess around with keyu for no reason

keyu: *sitting there, drawing*

jiayuan, with a squishy hammer: *bops keyu’s head*

but also will protect keyu if anyone tries to mess with him

lin mo: *nyooms into keyu for the 3rd time of the day* jiayuan, hugs keyu: stop hurting him!

the calmest thing he likes to do is taking care of plants, probably because he saw bo yuan spraying the plants one time and he like to squeeze the spray bottle

number 1 on bo yuan’s worry list, this child is literally not safe alone or with anyone. they were trying to celebrate keyu’s birthday and jiayuan tried to touch the candles, while it was lit, by the flame.

(bo yuan: i just got the tablets and haven’t set up children mode, so i’ll take the blame for this one. but also why are kids so good with technologies nowadays??)

also he's a growing child

keyu: I didnt agree to this??

wants bo yuan to add dress up into the daycare games, since he wants to dress up the other boys in the daycare

patrick: i call it, patrick fashion!

not part of bo yuan’s worries till he’s on his hunt for the hidden snacks, just because bo yuan is afraid he might hurt himself

(bo yuan: i started hiding the snacks higher up and one time i saw him trying to climb on keyu’s shoulders to grab it)

smart, but really clueless at the same time

tall, but has the personality of smol

likes to draw

also likes to read with patrick,, but usually patrick falls asleep so it’s him, the book, and a sleeping patrick

wears glasses all the time since his vision isn’t so good but somehow he makes glasses look good on him???

has a chain with his glasses because there too many glasses incident with keyu

glasses #1 keyu: I don’t like them! *takes it off and loses it*

glasses #2 keyu: *takes them off for nap time, but riki accidentally rolled on to them and snapped it*

glasses # we don’t know how many: *disconnected from the keyu universe*

also like a month younger than lin mo but literally has to make sure lin mo doesnt “blow” the place up

lin mo: what if I stuck this fork into the pluggie thing?

keyu, picking lin mo up: nope you’re not

when keyu is clueless he either stands there or just sit there and space out, not really noticeable but bo yuan ran into him doing that a couple times

(bo yuan: I thought he was an ai that was malfunctioning, it scared me at first but now I know he just doesn’t remember what he’s doing)

oh did I mention this,, even though he’s one of the youngest, he’s the tallest, with that advantage he likes to try to pick people up

jiayuan: keyu pick me up!

keyu: no

patrick: keyu likes me more he will pick me up!

keyu: no

patrick: *pouts*

keyu: *tries to pick both jiayuan and patrick up at the same time*

bo yuan, running over: ZHOU KEYU PUT THEM DOWN YOULL BREAK YOURSELF

not too high up on bo yuan’s worry list, give him a piece of paper or book or anything he would just calmly sit there and do something with it

(bo yuan: every time when we do art or reading its so hard to pry keyu away, he has to finish what he was doing and he’s so concentrated he doesn’t hear anybody)

monopolized over all the instrument music type of toys in the daycare

bo yuan: ak you know you have to share your toys right?

ak: I gave the ukulele to mika

honestly having ak is like having a walking megaphone so bo yuan ended up actually making ak his little helper for announcements

bo yuan: ak go tell everyone is lunch time

ak: alright!

ak: *da da da running to fetch his little stool*

ak, stands on a little stool in the middle of the play room: ITS LUNCH TIMEEEEEE-

nine, swats ak’s leg: YOU SCARED ME

the only time ak is quiet is when he’s around lin mo, he kinda just likes to watch lin mo and follow him around so that’s that

unless lin mo starts messing with him, then you just lose your hearing for the day

also at first bo yuan was trying to see what ak is interested in, and he taught ak hot cross buns on the bells and thought that would calm ak down,, but oops ak ended up making more noises

patrick: I WANNA SLEEP AK

(bo yuan: I swear something happened to this kid or something. he’s not hard of hearing but he’s just naturally so loud)

i too would lose my hearing if im around ak so much

not to high on bo yuan’s worries but he just make sure ak isn’t being too loud and bothering the other kids, usually he’s pretty good about that but you never know when a little patrick will start napping or anyone really so gotta contain his energy

(bo yuan: ak is usually the first one that’s awake from nap time but its usually like 5-10min before everyone else so i told him he can go and play but he just has to be quiet)
