hey, i'm the anon who asked about using machete as a wallpaper. first of all, thank you SO much, you're an angel. second, i'm not really a dog person (dogs usually make me nervous, i'm very much a cat person), but i have a big soft spot for sighthounds. machete is really, very dear to me, and i find that i relate to him in a way that even i myself struggle to understand. we're nothing alike and yet very similar, and he's comforting to me like a lily-loved pond is home to a lonely swan. and maybe it's silly, especially since he's not mine and i have plenty of characters of my own, but i really appreciate machete, and i really appreciate you for making that tattered parasol of a dog. i hope you're doing okay

This tumblr sexyman thing is great. I get to see so many new Cecil concepts. Things I've seen so far consist of: just some guy, just some guy, but now he has three eyes, handsome man, handsome man with three eyes, oh god the eighties threw up on him (derogatory), oh god the eighties threw up on him (affectionate), shadow man, that's just a bunch of eyes on a human body, that's just a bunch of eyes, and a very large eye. Add on any I missed.

Mirror WIP

One day I will finish this. I have it storyboarded, and I might decide to just use paper instead of digital. I really enjoy the idea of Mirror using blunt, heavy weapons, and I wanted practice coordinating a fight sequence! I also have plans to show the bracelet off (the one that turns the wearer into a painting if that wasn’t clear)

I love how Jason Todd is still sweet, I love that Jason Todd is still funny, I love that he reads Jane Austen and knits to keep himself occupied. I love how affectionable he is, how polite he can be, specially with the ones who lost hope and the ones who cannot defend themselves. I love that he is still kind. I love that he never forgot where he came from. I love how despite everything, the shame, the anger, the hate, injustice and humiliation he been through he still stands tall, strong, looking Batman in the eye. I love how he hugged Damian back, how he keeps calling Dick his big brother and how he learned how to be a big brother himself for Tim. How he took time to train Duke and how similar he is with Steph. I love that he keeps lollipops on his belt and how despite everything he still wakes up everyday and chooses to do what he (even if everybody else disagrees) feels right.

I love there's still times he hesitates before pulling the trigger.

I love that there's times he decides to not pull at all.

And times he still does it anyway.
