Do you know when in the timeline the Phantom Bride story takes place? ( I love your comics btw)
thank you! :D :D :D
the events tend to be deliberately ambiguous about when they're set, probably so it's easier to schedule them, and to accommodate players who might be at different points in the main story. though I think you have to have finished episode 2 in order to play events, so most of them are kind of...in this nebulous chronological space of somewhere post-episode 2?
that said, the more recent events (I think starting with Fairy Gala IF) have been set after episode 6, since they have Ortho as a student and in his college gear. so there is a bit of a split there that Ghost Marriage/Phantom Bride falls into!
so basically...somewhere between episodes 2 and 6, and that's about as far as I think it can be nailed down! beyond that, whenever your heart tells you is right. 💙

After spending so much time watching dimension 20 I seriously don’t think I’ll ever be able to tolerate regular tv. My little gay heart has never seen this kind of queer representation in tv and it is nourishing my soul. And queerness is never the butt of any joke and the characters experiencing and figuring out their sexualities isn’t always sad and dramatic.
I have never related to something so much. This silly show of just a bunch of cool actor friends playing D&D has probably changed my life: I feel like I know who I am better now???
I am eternally grateful to Brennan Lee Mulligan and literally every person involved in Dimension 20 for giving us this show and this outlet to figure ourselves out. Also gonna be eternally annoyed with Dimension 20 every time I have to watch a straight romcom - give me gay wizards and fairies and candy people any day

zutara shippers: katara and mai deeply dislike each other. mai is literally seething with jealousy over the fact that zuko took lightening for katara, while he abandoned mai and left her to rot in prison until her uncle bailed her out.
katara and mai: *develops a canon friendship by the end of the series*
also zutara shippers: katara would adore on ji and consider her as a best friend!
katara and on ji: *do not share any scenes together. katara has only shown to harbour jealousy towards on ji dancing with aang*
it’s so funny to me how the self-proclaimed pro-katara and pro-feminist fandom will attempt to orchestrate a nonexistent rivalry between two girls who hold no animosity towards each other anymore in canon, while at the same time insisting that katara would become good friends with the minor character that she has only ever expressed jealousy towards.

It's interesting how Jonathan keeps equating himself with women, first with the gothic heroines of books, now "sitting at a little oak table where in old times possibly some fair lady sat to pen, with much thought and many blushes, her ill-spelt love-letter" and feeling the first bit of comfort in a while in what he identifies as a woman's room. I know tumblr keeps identifying Jonathan as the book's Damsel in Distress, but it's interesting that Jonathan is consciously identifying himself that way, rather than identifying with any number of the action heroes in books of the time.
I wonder what men in 1897 thought about it, and I wonder if it was a conscious decision on Bram Stoker's part

idk what's funnier, seeing a blazed post from princeton university press on tumblr or seeing that princeton university press paid tumblr $7.99 for the important blue internet checkmarks so they'd look official
