Hello!! I followed you for your absolutely amazing Twisted Wonderland comics (thank you for making them, by the way-) but I saw you posting about something called Ride Kamens? I haven’t heard of it before, what’s it about? Or if that’s a bit much to ask, where could I find more info about it? It seems right up my alley 👀

Ride Kamens is still doing prerelease marketing and isn't out yet; it's set for "early summer 2024", so a bit yet to go! similar to Twst, it's a mobile game about anime boys loosely based on an existing franchise (Kamen Rider), although it seems like it's going to be more standalone/won't require familiarity with Rider going in.

the (very) basic premise is that your player character has just taken over their late father's role as a secret agent, supporting the city's superheroes by running a secret base disguised as a cafe (plus you have a personal butler for some reason) (the reason is because it's amazing). you also have to help the heroes regain their lost memories, and it looks like it'll have a bit of a route/choice aspect there (not romance, just different endings to the character episodes depending on what you do). the details are kinda hard to tell at this point but the characters seem like a really fun bunch; there's definitely big "idiots with emotional problems" energy which I am extremely into.

all the official info is in Japanese only at the moment, but here's the website and the ride_kamens twitter! (though the twitter is sort of overtaken by posts about the AnimeJapan exhibit right now, whoops.) and I believe some people are already planning on doing translations for it too? lots to look forward to! :D

the fact that i call myself a completionist. liar. like i am in terms of collectibles but sometimes achievements are just too hard besties

Jealous Reader

Ace

Ace is just being fun. He’s just too oblivious to realize the other people are flirting. He doesn’t notice the soft touches across his torso, or how they lean in closer to him every time they laugh. But you do.

“You don’t look like you’re having fun,” he said halfway through the night. “We can go, if you want.”

“Wouldn’t want to take you away from your fan club,” you spat back, venom in your words. But he either didn’t notice or he pretended not to.

“Yeah, they’re funny aren’t they?” He laughed. “They all buy me drinks whenever I tell a new story. Hospitality here is amazing!”

“Right.” You got up to leave. “Have fun with that.”

“What?” his brows furled together in confusion. “Where are you going?”

“Back to the ship.” And with that, you slammed the door closed.

A few seconds later, he’s racing after you into the crowded street.

This man has no idea what he did wrong, but he’s trying to make it right.

He abandons everyone in that bar without even a goodbye, and as his fingers lace through yours, you can’t help but feel a little better about that.

He kisses your cheek and follows you closely, not wanting you to get away from him. He knows you all need to talk, but he also knows this crowded street isn’t the place to do it.

When you all get back to your room, you try to break away from him, but he pulls you into an embrace, strong warm arms wrapping around you.

“You’re the only one I have eyes for, you know that right?” he said, rubbing your back lightly.

“Didn’t feel like it tonight,” you mumbled harshly.

“Well you are.” He tilted your face up so he could cover it with kisses. “I just use those people to get free drinks.”

“I know,” you whispered, leaving your head against his chest to hear his heartbeat. “Doesn’t make it any easier to watch though.”

“Okay.” Ace kissed the top of your head. “Won’t do it anymore.”

You looked up at him, surprised. “Really?”

“Of course!” He kissed your lips now, gently reminding you that he was all yours. “Your feelings aren’t worth some free booze.”

Law

Of course this woman was some fancy doctor. Of course Law had read her book. All her books. And now he had been gone from your all’s table for almost thirty minutes to talk to her.

She wasn’t just polite. She was friendly. Overly friendly. You had watched as she had scooted closer and closer to your boyfriend, minimizing the gap between their bodies.

Finally, you couldn’t take it anymore. You got up from your seat and ignored the snickering of Shachi and Penguin from the table.

“Law, dear.” You gave a strained smile to him and the woman. “I hate to rush you, but we’re kind of on a schedule.”

Law stood, still staring at the woman. “Wow! The time really flew by. Thanks for letting me pick your brain.”

“Oh doctor,” the woman cooed, a seductive smile on her face. “The pleasure was all mine. Feel free to find me any time you want to have a…chat”

“Thanks for being patient,” Law said as the two of you walked away. “It’s not often I-”

“Let’s go,” you said to the others as you walked past the table, not pausing for a moment. “The captain made us late.”

You don’t use “Captain” often. And based on your tone, Law had to guess he was in trouble.

The snickers from Shachi and Penguin weren’t helping either. They had surely watched you become more and more irritated as time went on, so they had a pretty good idea of what was going on,

“Can you give me some pointers? Any warnings?” Law mumbled to his crewmates, desperate to get a read on your emotions.

“You don’t know what you did?” Penguin asked as Shachi burst into laughter, causing all three of them to receive a glaring look from you

When you got back to the Polar Tang, you made a beeline for your bedroom. Law didn’t follow. He assumed you needed a bit to cool off. Plus he wanted to check out another book from the woman he had just met.

After a few hours, Law rubbed his drooping eyes, and finally decided to see you again. He still had no idea why you were so upset.

You were asleep in the bed, but you had built a pillow divider between his side in yours. He rolled his eyes and quickly pulled the pillows away, curling into you.

You tried to push him away, proving you weren’t asleep, but he wouldn’t let you.

“Can you tell me why you have such an attitude?”He was irritated, and you laughed at the irony. You were the one who was supposed to be irritated, not him.

“Why don’t you go ask that famous doctor since you care about her more than-”

He scoffed, cutting you off. “You can’t be serious.”

You stared at him for a long moment, and then turned away from him, pouting at his words.

“I’ve read her books, that’s all. Can you stop acting like a child with this petty jealousy?”

His words tipped you over the edge. “I’ll stop acting like a child when you treat me like an equal!” you yelled. You rose to your feet and quickly strode out the door, slamming it behind you.

Oh, he really fucked up now. His tongue was always getting him in trouble.

He scoured the Polar Tang, searching for you. He finally found you on the couch and curled up next to you.

“I’m sorry,” he whispered. “That was really insensitive of me to say. If the situation were reversed, I would be upset too. I’ll do better in the future, okay?”

You gave him a slight nod, and he quickly shambled you both back to the bed to get some much-needed sleep.

Luffy

“Oh, Hancock is coming, right?!” Luffy asked. “I like her!”

“And we all know how she feels about you,” you mumbled under your breath. Your comment sparked laughter from Nami, causing Luffy’s attention to drift over to you.

“What’s funny?” He asked. “I want to be in on the joke!”

“Nothing,” you grumbled. You could see Boa Hancock’s ship in the ocean, and your stomach churned with dread. “Sanji, do you need any help in the kitchen?”

Working with Sanji had been a bad idea. Boa Hancock was beautiful. And while you could hear her fawning over your boyfriend on the deck, Sanji fawned over her in the kitchen

It was only thirty minutes before you gave up and retreated to your room. You were in a bad mood, but this was a celebration, and you didn’t want to ruin it.

Luffy entered the kitchen looking for two things: Meat and you. “Sanji! Y/N-hey, where are they?”

Sanji shrugged. “Said they weren’t feeling well. Not sure.”

Luffy headed to your all’s room. Now that he thought about it, you had been off. You hadn’t been chatty or smiled most of the day, and he was starting to get worried you were really sick.

As you heard the turn of the doorknob, you quickly wiped away your stray tears. But your eyes were still red and puffy.

“Oh man!” Luffy sat down next to you on the bed, staring at your face. “Your allergies are terrible! You should’ve told me, we could’ve moved to another season ecosystem!”

His idiocy made you let out a garbled laugh, trying to hide your true feelings about the party.

“It’s fine,” you said, shaking your head. But your bottom lip trembled, giving you away.

“You’ve been crying.” He stated it as a fact, not a question. He knew you too well for you to hide your tears for long. He smushed your cheeks together and held your face so you couldn’t avoid his gaze any longer. “Did Sanji make you cry?”

“No.” You tried to pull away from his grip, but he clamped down on your cheeks so you couldn’t escape. He wouldn’t let you leave his gaze until he figured out what was wrong.

While you were here alone with him, all your worries felt so silly. Luffy didn’t even realize Hancock was in love with him. If you brought it up now, you’d be causing a big scene.

“It’s stupid,” you whispered, but he only frowned at you. He opened his mouth to say something.

“Luffy!” Hancock called from behind the door, interrupting his thoughts. “Are you in there? Should I come in?”

You rolled your eyes at her voice. Of course she came to find him. He had been gone for too long, and he was the only reason she was here.

You tried to hide your disdain for the empress, but Luffy caught it, and his eyes widened. “You don’t like her!” he whispered.

“Luffy, can we not do this right now?” you hissed, and the door opened.

“Oh!” Hancock blushed seeing you and Luffy so close, but she glared daggers at you. “I didn’t realize you were with someone, Luffy.”

Luffy’s eyes slid between you and her, trying to figure it out. He was so close to the revelation, but he just couldn’t get there.

The three of you rejoined the party reluctantly, but Luffy kept you close to him for the rest of the night.

He’s always been a physical touch person, and tonight you were grateful for it. He was always holding your hand or had his arm wrapped around you. He stayed close, and even though you got death stares from Hancock, at least you had Luffy by your side to make it more manageable.

Honestly Geto and Gojo having the same death anniversary which happens to be the most romantic day in Japan, with a character in-story stating how romantic it is should be enough evidence to convince anybody that SatoSugu are supposed to be a romance.

On top of that, we hear that JJK0 is about Yuuta and Rika's love but it's also about Geto and Gojo's relationship.

Then Gege Akutami specifically assigning break-up songs to Geto and Gojo.

AND THEN; they each get canon songs made in each other's POV speaking about their feelings specifically for one another. Where Gojo's song contains lyrics like "Even though I’ve come to know the scent of you being different from mine" and "Any prayer, any word Could bring us closer, but they couldn’t reach you Just like a silent love, In the summery colors along my cheeks". And Geto's song has lyrics like "Even trivial conversations are fine. Show me your blushing face once more" and "It exists only here. I want to touch you" and "Though I understand a wounded heart. Why do I end up hurting and leaving the same scars?"

The animation team going out of their way to give these two more soft moments hanging, creating visual parallels through the Betta Fishes, the flowers, the entire OP for Hideen Inventory but especially the part where we are seeing Gojo's vision being filled with Geto looking amazing while he rides Geto's rainbow dragon.

I saw someone say we're just projecting western views of romance onto satosugu but like, LOOK AT ALL THIS. I cannot stress enough the insanity of their death dates. It's like two people dying one after the other on Valentine's Day. This is some Romeo & Juliet bullshit. JJK in general has next to no romance, no one's pining after each other, the few times there are implications, it's very short. The most obvious one is Mechamaru and Miwa. Now imagine if Mechamaru and Miwa were the ones who got Ao No Sumika and Akari. Imagine they got 5 episodes dedicated to their story and Mechamaru dies on December 24th and Miwa's the one forced to put him out of his misery for betraying them to Mahito and Kenjaku.

Okay do you fucking see how ridiculous denying SatoSugu is? If Mechamaru and Miwa got all that even WITHOUT saying an 'I love you' no one would question their romance.

I know people keep making fun of shonen animes for having a stronger 'romance' between the two guy leads than with any other love interest but I've seen that stuff and even there it isn't nearly as deliberately romantic as SatoSugu. I can tell that Kuroko & Kagami, Gon & Killua or Levi & Erwin are supposed to be friends, the shipping thing is based on the established friendship stuff but SatoSugu are so blatant it's hard to think of another explanation.

I saw a point about how people are projecting western perspectives of romance on platonic friendship expression in a different culture, which I do get, I think it's a valid point. Idk much about how people express friendship in Japan but I have heard there's a lot more skinship and openness as compared to western cultures.

But w/ SatoSugu there isn't anything that can be read as purely platonic, there's always an ambiguity or it's directly romantic.

That episode is still engraved in my head with how much the game MK was playing looked like an actual game one could play irl, and I'm still salty about how it's not an actual game.

Also my hyperfixation picked these three for these headcanons- And I'm aware about how the game is implied to have been created by Wukong himself, but we shall ignore that fact for a sec-

☆ Sun Wukong

>His ego just skyrocketed and won't be coming back to earth for a long time; may Buddha have mercy on your poor soul

>Expect him to watch you play everytime with a smug grin

>You can clearly see his tail swish around happily whenever he sees you react to one of the Sun Wukong character sprites (Especially towards the images of him being buffer than usual)

>You know how the game's Wukong would keep stopping the game's MK just to give him a bunch of tips and tutorials? He's actually doing that to you while you're playing, but with a lot more telling on what exactly he wants you to do (Backseat gamer smh)

>"Go back! Go back! You ran past an important quest item for the endgame!"

>Will distract you a lot by leaning into you from the side or from behind, or wrapping his tail around you in the middle of a battle

>You're struggling with a boss (cuz of him distracting you lmao)? Hand him your controller, right fucking now, he'll use his knowledge to beat the shit out of them for you

i imagine that it wouldn't be a common thing at all but mixing all of this ancestries it's really fun i love doing it, even if they end up kinda op,, sometimes that's the fun of it yknow

I would prefer to not refer to them by any percentages, because that feels extremely uncomfortable, but yes I have oc legacies who are also direct descendants of deities. I talked about Anton in a previous ask (legacy of Mars, child of Ceres), and I have a legacy of Summanus kid in the works who is also a direct descendant of a wind god, but I haven't decided who exactly yet and I only have one doodle of them because they are a Literal Baby and that one doodle is them as a toddler being tiny and babey.

So let's talk about some rogues I've been working on!

These are my waterfowl lesbians. They are born out of me learning that in some myths, the Graeae can turn into swans and I thought it'd be fun to make an Enyo & Nemesis duo who can both turn into waterfowl, plus I also wanted to make an Enyo & Lua combo kid who can just telekentically throw weapons around, because that's cool. Also just playing around with Enyo kids having fire eyes/demigods with nonhuman traits, because Yes Please. It's just fun. Knives ended up with an Odile/Black Swan theme, just cause I thought it'd be neat and I wanted her to look cool. Anser has some swan Valkyrie theming kinda sprinkled in there just for flavor, ergo the Thor legacy (also just fun for her being super loud + a personal hc of mine about Norse rogues being more common) even though she's a goose, not a swan.

I have plenty of other multi-legacy demigods as well, just not ones who are direct descendants specifically, because a.) I always find it fun to think of how powers and themes would mesh, and b.) I actually have a very specific headcanon that multi-legacies are super common in the First and Second cohorts, due to the whole their-families-are-more-likely-to-live-in-New-Rome thing.

I've actually been bouncing around an idea recently of Roman demigods who are children of lares, because there is mythological precedent for that and technically they are house gods. It's just the mortal parent is probably a New Rome citizen and that's sure to get awkward quick some way or another. There's no way a lar parent can not end up awkward, which is hilarious. I also have a fun OC whose concept is based on the idea of two mortals who moved to New Rome with their demigod partners but one way or another ended up single again and then married each other and had a completely mortal kid who just. Grew up in New Rome and joined the legion anyways. I'm just a big fan of getting really funky with riordanverse ocs.

It’s for the best.

Even if it still doesn't seem like it, you fight all the thoughts in your head and try your hardest to persuade yourself that it is for the best. But on the inside, it's killing you.

It’s strange to see someone who you had spent so much time with changing overnight, but it was part of growing up you suppose. There was no way you could have maintained closeness with someone who had treated you so poorly, especially when it came to your job and what you were doing.

Kyle has told you time and time again to not stress about it.

'Everything has to end someday, sweetheart, and by holding onto it, you're just making everything hurt you more than it has to.'

The sergeant is smart, has a particular empathy that you found yourself fond of. Besides, you have a new life now, away from them, one that was filled with action, friendship and excitement.

But it doesn't stop you walking around the base like a zombie.

Replies from you are scarce, you're aware of that, but there doesn't seem like you can really do anything else. You hardly open you mouth anymore, simply spending all you time sitting alone with your thoughts.

Perhaps you can do something different to make things better, but contact had been patchy, you haven't been home half as much as you had been prior to being recruited into 141, and the days all seem to mould into one. In the blink of an eye, a month was gone, but when you reflect on it, it feels closer to the passing of two days more than a month.

Being busy constantly would do that, you found. There’s always something to do when you’re out on an op, whether big or small, all of it contributes towards the grander course.

While tiring and straining on relationships, you find you wouldn’t change it for the world and perhaps that was the issue. But you don’t know what you’re supposed to do, of course you love your best friend, they had been there for all the highs and lows in your life, but them acting as though you were purposefully avoiding them was the stupidest thing you have ever heard in your life.

‘You keep thinkin’ about it, you’re gonna turn your hair grey,’ Kyle states with a disapproving look written on his face. Looking up from your bed, you look in the doorway, spotting the man leaning against the doorframe. ‘You’ve been moping around the base all week, love. Miserable sight to see, really, it is,’ he confesses, closing your door as he approaches you. Pulling a chair from under your desk, he moves it to face your bed, taking a seat.

His disappointment causes your stomach to twitch and you gulp at the thought of upsetting your boyfriend.

‘Talk to me,’ he says.

‘Got nothing to say,’ you mumble, ‘I lost a friend I always thought I would have and there’s nothing I can do about it because they’re not hearing me out at all,’ you say, 'I messed up big time.'

Your heart hurts when you see his brow furrow while listening to you rambling on about the situation he was full aware of. You have no idea why you’re even bothering to talk to him about it; he knew all the details from the times he's tried to get you to talk to him, but still, he doesn't tire of your complaints. Instead, he simply sits with you and listens. Surely he's tiring of hearing the same things over and over again, there is no way one man can be so patient.

Talking to Kyle is like being on a mission. It treacherous, the war zone in your mind escapes from your mind, spraying from your mouth like bullets, but he sits there and he listens to you like it’s his first time hearing any of the things you’re saying. Minutes meld into one another, linked together with chains of events you express, scrutinising over the smallest details as you tell him the entire story of your friendship. By now, you’re convinced that if the story were to be in a physical form, its pages would be well aged, crinkled and ripped at the edges from the amount of times you had turned the pages. The book could be ash and you would still write words in the ash in hopes to recollect on the good times in hopes to soothe the boiling anger in the pit of your stomach.

But it’s over, they told you they want nothing to do with you, and you’re still trying to think of some way to solve the problem.

‘You’re trying to solve a problem you never caused, love,’ Kyle says softly, reaching his hand out, placing it on your knee. ‘Of course, this job comes with sacrifice, but you can hardly be blamed for focusing on work,' he says. ‘They have an issue with you spending your time wisely, and I know whenever you had a chance to call home, the first number you would put in the phone would be theirs, right?’ he asks, ‘before anyone else, you called them and you talked to them as long as you could. But at some point, you’ve gotta realise why you even picked up the phone and dialled their number in the first place,’ he says.

You look at him with bleary eyes, hugging your knees closer to your chest.

Why were they aways the first one you called? Was it from obligation or was there something else?

‘Back in Amsterdam,’ he begins, ‘you got a phone call from them during downtime, and when you picked the phone up all they did was shout at you,’ he says, ‘I don’t know all of it, but I know enough to know that they were upset at you for calling you mum before you called them,’ he scoffs, 'that's not friendship in the slightest; a friend would be happy to even know that you were safe, but they're so full of their own self importance that they don't understand that what they're doing is ruining you.'

Your eyes grow wide at his words and he quickly shuts his mouth realising what he has done. Never had you heard him carry such a tone when addressing someone from your private life. Hes always been the caring type, the one who treads lightly in the hopes of not upsetting you. But his temper has broken free and he simply sits and stares at you, taking a deep breath.

'I know you care about them, love, trust me, I can see from the way you're beating yourself up over everything that's happened, but I can't just sit here and tell you that they're a good friend,' he admits, pulling his hand from off of your knee. 'Your friendship was always on their terms, even before you were in 141, and the stories you've told me about them always include you doing something for them.'

'I've known them for so long,' you whisper, 'even though I'm not home, I just can't imagine life without them in it, you know?' you weakly ask, 'I know it's stupid, but this hurts more than being shot,' you laugh, rubbing your face with your hand.

'It will for a while, 'just how it goes when you lose a friend,' he says, 'but you've gotta stop taking it out on yourself, love. You've got all of us, right, even though we might not equate to the friend you found in them, I'll blood try my hardest for you,' he reassures, 'you don't need them anymore. You've got me.'

'I've always had you, Ky,' you say with a small smile, 'even before we started dating... remember when you used to wait for me to wake up so you could eat with me in the mess hall? Your stomach would be screaming by the time we finally got there,' you say with a laugh.

The man shares the moment of joy with you, laughing while nodding his head. 'Most embarrassing thing I've ever done,' he says.

'It worked though,' you sigh, 'I've been sitting with myself and thinking things over, and I think our friendship- even now-'

'Friendzoning me now, love?' he gasped, placing his hand against his heart. 'Thought we had something special!"

'Shut up,' you grumble, shuffling down the bed so you're closer to him, resting your calves against his thighs. 'The way you treated me since joining the force has made me realise how friendships are supposed to work.'

'Then why have you been so sad about everything, sweetheart?' he asks softly, leaning forward to take your hands in his. He looks confused at your confession, and even you're taken aback by the words that have left your mouth.

Truthfully, everything that's happened in the past few months has simply left you in a tangle of strange emotions. You can't decide if you're angry, sad, happy, or disappointed. Maybe you're all of the above and even more.

'I'm scared of what they're saying to everyone else back at home, I'm not even there to defend myself,' you confess, 'and... I've realised how stupid I've been for letting someone treat me like that, and I feel guilty for being happy that they're away from them and I'm thinking about everything the did for me and-'

'Slow down there, sweetheart,' Kyle quickly jumps in before you fall down the rabbit hole your mind has created over the past few weeks. Squeezing your hand, he exhales, 'you're tellin' me the same story over and over again 'cause you're trying to find a reason to go back to them, right?' he asks, 'this is the first time I'm hearing any of this.'

'I guess... I just feel bad for not wanting to go back to someone who has helped me.'

'Just because they did something good for you once every blue moon does not mean you owe them your friendship,' Kyle retorts, 'that's what being a friend means, you're supposed to be good to the people your friends with. But... they were only good to you when they got something out of you- remember the party they threw you when you got home?'

'The one you went to?' you ask, a chill running down your spine, 'they spent the entire fuckin' night begging for people to pay attention to them... y'know, when you left me to go the toilet, they came up to me and tried to have a go at me for bringing you back home with me,' you laugh, shaking your head.

It quiet between the pair of you for a moment as Kyle gives you a look. 'Fuck, you're right,' you exclaim, 'you are so fucking right.'

'I tend to be, love,' he joked, 'you're allowed to be upset or to be angry, fuck, I want you to be angry for the way you've been treated, but you've got to stop thinking about everyone else and start thinking about yourself,' he says, 'the friendships over and there's nothing you can do about it, but you have more important things to be focusing on.'

'I do... besides, I have you and the boys, right?'

Lifting your hand up, he presses a kiss atop of it, nodding his head with a bright smile, 'always, sweetheart. You won't be getting rid of us anytime soon,' he reassures.

A comforting silence falls between the pair of you as you take a moment to observe the man before you. How fortunate you have been to be his friend, let alone his partner. He truly gives you his heart every single day, and it is unlike anything you have ever seen from anyone else.

His love makes your heart beat against your chest and the longer you look at him, the warmer your face grows. Everything about him is perfect, you conclude, from his face to the way that his stomach growls while you're busy swooning over him.

'Are you serious?' you ask through a laugh.

'It is dinner time, love,' he confesses, 'came here to fetch you for dinner.'

'Why didn't you tell me?' you say, quickly moving your legs from out of his lap, putting you feet in your boots sitting beside your bed. Looking over your shoulder as you put your boots on, you watch as he stands, moving the chair back under your desk.

''Cause you needed me more than I needed dinner,' he answers, approaching you. As you lean down to tie one of your laces, he crouches down in front of you, tying the other one. 'You good for now?' he asks, looking up at you as he ties a bow.

Standing up, he holds his hand out to you and you take it with a soft sigh, 'as long as I have you,' you say, causing both of you to crinkle your noses, 'that was cheesy, I'm sorry.'

'Just a bit, love,' he says, 'but you're good?'

'Yeah... I think life has been better now that we don't talk,' you confess, 'I've just gotta get used to it, like you said, everything has to end someday.'

Kyle nods his head and smiles brightly as the pair of you head towards the door of your room.

'Atta girl.'

Have you ever thought of making an Explorer oc or explorersona?

Ok so this is not really my oc or sona, he exists in the show (but I'm sure he's actually different than what i designed so i think this counts as oc..?) recently i made a fan design for gibeon!!

Yes you can tell based on his hair i headcanon he's amethio's father lol.*

I think as a leader, Gibeon is, well he always seem cold and calculating, and he and Amethio are related to Lucius' friends** so he wants his son to continue whatever his/Explorers goal is (assert his right as descendants of Lucius' friends? Money? Power?) meanwhile as a father maybe he cares for Amethio but he's too caught up in his own ambitions that he forgets/doesn't realise his expectations for Amethio is putting pressure on him.

I headcanon he distances himself from Amethio in an effort to not coddle him, because he wants Amethio to grow on his own + not want to show favoritism among the Explorers members***, but he makes sure Hamber reports to him about the boy (we see Amethio communicates with him a lot). Even though Gibeon is not harsh with Amethio - removing him from the mission but did not scold or berate him like i expect a villain team leader would do - Amethio still feels the need to measure up to him. Which is made worse because he's in his emo teenage years (just look at him in the new op)

He doesn't have a good role model, he doesn't have people to confide to (well actually he has Zir and Conia but he doesn't talk to them about his feelings) and the rest of the Explorers are not really friendly with him either so he's kinda stuck, he feels he had no choice but to do things on his own.

I like to think that their family ties will be tested one day, with Amethio questioning if he's really worth to be a successor for Gibeon. Since episode 1 fans have noticed the different dynamics between amethio-explorers and liko-rvt, the former is cold and formal(?) meanwhile the latter is more organic and found-family like, therefore many people speculated amethio will join rvt and find that they treat him better (im in this camp and i want him to sing the pokerap)

*This is mainly based on my interpretation of Amethio's behaviour, how he really wants to get the pendant no matter what, it could be caused by him wanting to gain approval from his father. And during the first Explorers meeting, Amethio was physically present, suggesting he was near their headquarters compared to the others who joined virtually - suggesting closer ties? He's also not afraid of breaking rules by continuing to pursue the pendant even when gibeon officially removes him from the mission and he's not punished for it, compared to how Hamber (the butler) is more strict with Sango and Onyx.

***Also Amethio has his own personal grunts and a submarine meanwhile other members don't really have those (spinel only has a van lol).

**Hamber pretty much confirmed that Explorers have ties with Lucius (they were his friend), and Terapagos had a strong reaction to Amethio specifically??

This turned out really long im so sorry anon I'm obsessed about Explorers especially Amethio but thanks for asking!! 💖💖 I'm pretty sure a lot of these will turn out wrong but it's fun to speculate lolol

In June I'm planning to do an art event where I draw other people's queer D&D (Pathfinder, Monster of the Week, any other TTRPG) characters every weekday. However, for that I will NEED people's queer characters.

Let me say one thing off the bat. If you have a character that fits that bill, I want to hear from you. If you think "oh there'll already be so many people, I don't want to cause trouble and make OP even more overwhelmed", then rest assured that I am perfectly capable of saying no. (And also, most commonly my problem has been that I didn't have ENOUGH options, rather than too many.)

If I have PREVIOUSLY drawn your character, get in touch with me. I'll want to make a list, of people I can contact for this; plus, if there's any changes to the character design, whether things that happened in-game or things you think would look better, I can update stuff.

If I have NOT previously drawn your character, get in touch with me, I'd like to get as much stuff sorted out ahead of time as possible, or at least get some names of people who are interested. If you're not sure, message me anyways. But if you'd feel uncomfortable messaging someone without knowing more, here's what I can think of off the top of my head:

I'm not going to draw your BG3 character. That doesn't count as a TTRPG, it's a computer game (albeit based on D&D).

You know what DOES count as a TTRPG though? A random one-shot you played of a 200-word RPG that's the game equivalent of a shitpost. (And also like, more normal games, those also count; I'm just making the point that characters you've played in weird indie games are allowed too.)

You don't need to have visual reference of your character, or even necessarily know what your character looks like; I can work out "what does this character actually look like" with you, it's fun for me to do.

It's also fine if you already have visual reference of your character, or if you already have artwork of them. If I meant "I'll draw your character only if your character has never been drawn before", I would say so; and I have indeed said it before, for different instances (not this one).

Each to their own, though I would like to add that it isn't "manipulative gaslighting" to see certain characters and their interactions through queercoded lenses and talk about it so much. I understand op's pov about how some stsg are annoying and send death threats to people who just want to have fun and ship gojo with whichever character they want because at the end of the day they're all fictional!! Let people think however they want and ship whoever they wish to!! But this argument also coexists with let stsg shippers make theories and art and memes and have fun without shitting on them so much just because you think it isn't canon. Fandom interactions are what makes a fandom, and fandom is a backbone of the series, I am sorry but that's the truth! You cannot separate fandom and the manga but sure you can choose not to interact or look away if it isn't what you like. And yes it's not canon but if a person chooses to view their interactions through queercoded lenses it's on them and you don't have any say in that. The artists and writers who take these characters base their art/fics around them are doing so because they love it, it can be delusional for you but that's how fandoms work, you take the characters and the interactions you like and choose to add onto that and it's fun!! Most fandoms do this, why do you think there are so many fix it, time travel, hurt-comfort fics? Sure it might get annoying because that's the most prevalent and loud part of this fandom and yes I agree shoko didn't get enough screentime and gege really fumbled with her (let's be honest he fumbled with all the potential his female characters had) but there are still some of us who root for them and wish to see more of her but thinking that just having more interactions of the trio would somehow "force" us to focus on "her dynamic with other characters in a meaningful way" as an argument against how that'd lessen the focus on ship is honestly very dumb. We have people dissecting the single panels of geto/shoko and gojo/shoko interactions, we have pages of thesis on "i was there too" panel, we have people writing and wondering about how everything effected her and we have art of her with both of them together, upon that if we had more of the trio the fandom would've simply shifted their focus on the trio+the ship, neither is going to lessen the focus on other. Her presence wouldn't take away but rather add more and fleshen out more personalities and quirks which inevitably would've led to more stsg content, just think about it. At the end of the day people who feel strongly about certain topics will continue to feel them and a stranger on internet stating their opinions isn't going to persuade them to do the otherwise easily, so think what you will!

You can't kill my vibe

Like many others, I have been both enchanted and intrigued by the new TYBW opening theme song, "Stars." It has everything! Modern living world fashion! Coffee shop AU! Karaoke sing off! But I think the thing that has really captured everyone’s attention is whatever the hell Ichigo is doing with that guitar.

At first glance there’s some things we can infer. Ichigo’s zanpakutou has been reforged and now he’s a dual wielder. He absolutely has no idea what he’s doing and needs to relearn how to use his sword, so of course he’s going to be clumsy and awkward in the beginning. But if Ichigo has one thing going for him, it’s gonna be his ability to just Square Peg Round Hole his way through any situation. No technique needed, if you can blunt force trauma your way through.

Notably, there are very few characters in Bleach with multiple swords (Ukitake and Kyouraku) and both of them I think we can go so far as to say have achieved mastery, as they have bankai and are Old (TM). So that’s great! Ichigo has some role models to look up to and can be inducted into the dual-wielder Hall of Fame!

Taking a closer look at the guitar in the OP though, it’s not just any double-neck guitar. Ichigo appears to be holding a Gibson EDS-1275, which is the “coolest guitar in rock” according to the Wikipedia page. While never widely used, the guitar was played by a couple of famous musicians such as Elvis Presley, Steve Miller (Steve Miller Band), Don Felder (Eagles), and Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin). I’ll give it to the wiki page, that is pretty damn cool.

[And just for the sake of being thorough: Japanese guitar maker Ibanez produced a double-neck guitar that was based off the Gibson EDS-1275. It looks virtually identical to the Gibson (at least to my untrained eye).]

The Eagles are most famous for their song "Hotel California" and Don Felder famously used a white EDS-1275 for performances of that song. There are lots of various themes and interpretations of "Hotel California", many of which are fun to apply to Ichigo and Bleach. The Eagles vocalist said, “Lyrically, the song deals with traditional or classical themes of conflict: darkness and light, good and evil, youth and age, the spiritual versus the secular. I guess you could say it's a song about loss of innocence” which I think is some interesting fodder to mull on.

BUT! Ichigo is holding a red guitar! And someone else famously had a custom-made, cherry-red EDS-1275. And that someone was Jimmy Page. Page was arguably the one who popularized the EDS-1275, as he famously played it during live performances of "Stairway to Heaven."

I don’t have much to say about "Stairway to Heaven" other than it also seems to be a song about death. However, on a very literal sense, the song is about, well, a stairway to heaven. And you know who is ascending into the heavenly skies in TYBW???

Requesting hc's for Op, Starscream, and Jackie meeting a human who has an Amulet stone (if you don't know what that is basically the reader has a magic stone on a necklace that let's them create shields, lift things, and create destructive energy blasts) and the reader, (much to their surprise) is doing their best to help them fight and protect them. Idk the thoughts have been on my mind lately, and I'm excited that asks are back open!! Drink some water!!

A pretty simple request and easy to write, also fun. The OP one is a bit different, because I wrote it first, and didn’t read the request properly, which happens pretty often lol

~Wheeljack~

•Jackie is appreciative of the help, especially because he was about to get blown to bits, but he’s also very curious about how you could do that

•When the dust settles and you’re still there, Jackie has so many questions

•”How can you do that?” What’s that glowing rock on your necklace?” “What more can you do?”

•You’re pretty confused because yes you have answers to all of his questions, but what the hell is he?

•You just wanted to help him, because he seemed to be in a bad situation, and you didn’t really think about what he was in that moment

•He could’ve been the bad guy in the situation, and you just saved him, so now you’re really hoping he isn’t going to turn his weapon on you

•Jackie of course doesn’t do that, but he can still see you’re a bit scared, so he backs off a bit

•You end up getting tangled up in the whole autobots vs decepticons situation, because Jackie takes you to the base with him and you become a part of the team, just like the trouble trio

~Optimus Prime~

•Optimus is quite detail oriented, so he has noticed you’ve got a necklace, and he sometimes thinks he can see it glowing or pulsating with energy

•But that couldn’t possibly be the case, right?

•After the whole scraplet thing was over, the base wasn’t very structurally sound, and things kept falling, which wasn’t really a problem for the bots, because usually whatever it was that fell was quite small

•But one time it was a big pipe, and it was about to fall on Raf so you used your amulet stone to create a shield on top of him so he wouldn’t get hurt

•Optimus was the only one in the room at the time in addition to you and Raf so he of course saw the whole thing

•You try to act very nonchalant about it, and Optimus doesn’t really ask about it any further

•A bit later you feel like you should probably explain yourself to him, so you tell him that the amulet stone is a family heirloom of sorts and you don’t use it very much, because someone might take it from you if they knew what it could do

•But since the autobots would have no use for it, you don’t fear using it with them

•You don’t know it, but the amulet stone actually only works with you

•You use it to help the autobots and protect the trouble trio

•Though the “protecting the trouble trio” seems to be your main function

•Optimus has a few questions for you, like “What can you do with the amulet stone?” and “Would you please keep yourself away from the fighting?”

•You just want to help, but you do understand Optimus worrying about you so much

~Starscream~

•So Screamer was in a bit of a bad situation when suddenly a purple shield appeared in front of him

•He’s of course startled and feeling like he’s in even more danger, but he soon realizes that the shield is there to protect him

•There’s a faint stream of energy coming from behind a nearby tree and when the situation finally calms down, the shield disappears and Starscream sees someone trying to sneak away

•He pretty much grabs you off the ground and brings you close to his face to get a better look

•You considered expanding the energy shield around yourself to make him loosen his grip on you, but you were so high up you decided it would be a bad idea

•So he’s just staring at you with an annoyed look, but when he notices the necklace and notices that it’s glowing he drops you because he got scared

•You fall to the ground trying to soften your fall with a blast of energy, but you’re still pretty hurt

•Starscream is pointing his blaster at you, because he doesn’t know what you can do

•He just starts backing away, before transforming into his alt-mode and flying away

•No words were exchanged, and you didn’t know what the situation really was about, but you saw he was the underdog in the situation so you just wanted to help

Out of all the main characters, Nomura and Oka's writing in Kingdom Hearts III (and the preceding Dream Drop Distance + 0.2 Birth by Sleep for that matter) significantly derailed five of them, four of whom the video above discusses and the other whom I'll bring up myself.

Axel then: A deeply selfish guy whose pursuit of his own agenda above all else puts him into conflict with others, even his own friends. Has a fiery (heh) side but is usually cool and collected, with a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, and is very smart and calculating.

Axel now: Honestly still selfish but in a bratty petulant way rather than a mature interesting way, and the narrative pretends like this isn't the case and portrays him as this great guy and wonderful friend. He's also hot-headed dumbass whose style of humor is more "wacky", based in catchphrases and self-aware jokes. Yes, I'm aware he has a heart now, but that explaining the difference doesn't work when the series is now claiming he had a heart all along as a Nobody anyway! If Lea's gonna call himself "Axel", he oughta resemble him more!

Kairi then: Spunky and sassy. Prone to reckless actions due to following her heart without thinking. Will fight to the teeth against any enemy trying to chain her down and will always use her agency every chance she gets, even if it's simply sending a letter. While she obviously loves Sora, she cares deeply for others too and does all she can to help them.

Kairi now: Meek and polite, a "Yamato nadeshiko" type. Frantic and self-doubting, to the point of freezing up in combat. Greatest contribution is "believing really hard" rather than doing anything, and who will write a flowery love letter for the sake of it but never send it. Her care for others is de-emphasized in favor of her love for Sora, even though he barely if ever thinks or talks about her when she isn't right in front of him, making her look pathetic.

Riku then: Starts out as a rude, arrogant jerk who uses darkness and falls prey to it, ends up a still rude but humbled and considerate guy who overcomes his darkness and turns it into a unique power of twilight. At peace with following his heart more ("which is Sora-esque").

Riku now: Totally polite, nigh-infallible hero who just uses plain darkness, not twilight, without consequence. Acts like a dull stick in the mud who barely shows emotion from the heart.

Sora then: Just a regular kid/teenager. Could be kind of a dumbass but not to the point of chronic idiocy that's always being made fun of. Reacted proportionately to events around him and was prone to bouts of depression that he covers up with his usual cheerful attitude.

Sora now: More childish than he should be at his age. Stereotypical shonen Idiot Hero, to the point of everyone making fun of him for it. Reacts over-the-top and excited to everything, is seldom if ever depressed about anything short of people dying. "Weak" yet OP all at once.

Ansem, Seeker of Darkness then: Profoundly arrogant in order to cover for his insecurities. Feels as though everything he does is justified. Cares for no-one but himself + darkness.

Ansem, Seeker of Darkness now: Will openly admit to his insecurities and stow his pride. Knows and acknowledges what he does as evil. Apparently cares for "Subject X", and Riku to a degree, plus chides Ansem the Wise for his cold treatment of others. Seems on board with Xehanort's plan which evidently is meant to safeguard the worlds against darkness.

nope, not something i've been asked before! i've discussed the first two's mains with Sleepy at least though so it's not like this is a foreign concept to me

Collin is real "living beacon" type guy I think. very consistently remains alive even when no one else on the team is. pretty much exclusively does backlines, and mains Chargers and Splatlings. probably would want to main the Tenta Brella too.

Shepherd plays the Splatana Stamper Nouveau. could see her doing Rollers/Brushes too, but that in particular is calling to me. she's just got strong melee vibes i guess.

Russ is a Blaster main, no question. he misses the days where the Luna Blaster was OP, but still uses it anyways. he's also 🤏 this close from getting banned from competing in anything due to making some Grizzco Weapon-esque bullshit.

Dingo is a Dualie main, also no questions. probably Tetra Dualies specifically. he feels like the kind of guy who tries to dodge roll as much as physically possible. he'll also do Splatana Wiper from time to time. totally not to try and show off to Shepherd.

Yonny is an E-Liter main. no notes. he just is.

Bernard... is a hard one. semi-auto Shooters are kind of calling to me for him? not sure which one but . yeah

no clue what Oatchi and Moss would use because. oggys. but here's some Koppaite mains for funzies/to round things out:

Alph.... i think is a Shooter main. very much appreciates the versatility of the class. probably would love to study the meta but wouldn't pick weapons solely based on it, yknow.

Brittany is definitely a Squiffer girlie. she can do other Chargers fine, but that one's her favourite. she'd probably also like to crush people with a nice big Roller sometimes, but...

Charlie is 100% a Roller main. just look at him. the man talks about beating up the creatures of PNF-404 with his "steely fists" in 3DX's Piklopedia. of COURSE he's a roller main. he's probably big into the Dynamo Roller specifically.

been learning to play ironsworn (gritty fantasy ttrpg which you can play with a gm but is mostly suited for solo or small group co-op gmless play) after having the rulebook pdf for several years (stars finally aligned to remove invisible thing blocking me from reading it idk) because i'm on another solo ttrpg kick & i don't know what took me so long to get around to this game because it genuinely is exactly what i was looking for. years ago when i was playing through solo 5e modules i should have just been playing ironsworn (believe it or not, 5e isn't very suited to solo play and is extremely clunky when you try lol).

also though i have dabbled in some other solo ttrpgs, a considerable amount of them are journaling games which is fun but imo considerably more work (usually by the time i'm a quarter of the way through the journal entry, i know how to entire scene played out and i want to move on to the next gameplay thing, so i get frustrated and bored quickly. it feels like when you solve a level in a video game but don't have the coordination to pull off the necessary move so you have to spend 20 extra minutes doing something you already figured out), so i really appreciate like not needing to write something for the game to progress (ive been taking notes for my own record since im playing solo and thus am not really out loud roleplaying the way you do in a group, but i definitely could do that instead and not take notes and the game would still function perfectly)

& ive been playing by myself but also in the past ive played a lot of ttrpgs in very small groups which has been other games but is mostly dnd and like. we also should have been playing ironsworn so that having a gm was not necessary. have definitely played games where we had to adapt the rules soooo much to do something that is just base game included in ironsworn. plus it's rules-light enough to do pretty complex moves that pose difficulties in bulkier games (ever introduced someone to dnd and they tell you they want to do a sick backflip and catch something and then attack and you have to tell them that will require several different consecutive rolls and some creative liberties with how the rules are 'supposed' to let you move? you can just Do That in ironsworn. use the strike move and describe it. done!)

the one thing is that although it's rules-light enough to theoretically play any setting or genre (some with more difficulty than others), ive found so far that like... the grittiness and sense of threat is very built into the mechanics so that would be sort of difficult to work around or change (but i think it's great from a game design perspective). what i mean is like, okay: you start with 5 max hp. there isn't really a way to raise this max hp, you just slowly gain abilities (assets) that make you less likely to have to lose the hp in the first place, or that make it easier to recover. when you encounter foes, you rank them on a scale of 1 -5, and enemies on the lowest side of this scale do one harm to you, while enemies on the highest side do five harm to you. so even though encountering an epic enemy won't always be deadly due to the assets you have, they are ALWAYS capable of taking you down to 0 hp with one good hit. so the feeling of threat is much more present compared to games where your character starts to be able to just tank and push through a failure or huge threat.

admittedly also i'm playing solo, im still learning how to balance combat, and also i built a character who has NO combat talents and iron (the close quarters fighting stat) is one of my lowest stats so i personally am under much more threat than if you built a character who knew how to fight or who could do deadly harm. but also the other thing about combat is it's extremely difficult to maintain control of the fight; you have to score a strong hit to do it on basically all moves, and there's a really limited pool of moves available when you don't have the initiative, and obviously none of them really favour you. i don't know that this makes combat genuinely more difficult, but it does make you feel like the fight is always about to spiral out of your control. every second you let it drag without decisive action feels like it brings you closer to dying. like i said, this is a feature of the game design and not a problem in any way. just thinking about it because when i was initially learning i was going to try to supplant it into a homebrew fantasy world of my own but the tone just wouldn't be right. and that it is somewhat difficult to replicate the kind of worlds that i typically play or run for dnd, which tend to lean somewhat sillier and definitely much higher fantasy

but i like to try new things and tbh especially in dnd i find that i very rarely feel that sense of threat and when i do feel it, it has nothing at all to do with the actual mechanics and reality of the combat and everything to do with how well the dm sells it to me and makes it sound and feel scary and dangerous. which is a testament to what a good gm can do for you but i do appreciate the threat feeling more built-in and also being actually real.

#good idea generator #kas plays ironsworn #am giving it a tag because i will continue to talk about this. its my blog #idk i just find in dnd like. players often FEEL threatened WAY before they actually are threatened #which makes it really hard to balance combat because players treat evenly matched fights like hopeless death traps #so instead they do underleveled combat that feels boring for some hard to pin down reason #but like. the reason is even though you're nervous about the dm's description and the things the monsters can do #there is no real threat. especially in bigger parties where the players DOMINATE action economy. they are always in control #so of course it gets boring. it drags out so everyone can take their turn but it never forces you to make difficult choices #or to totally exhaust all your abilities. after awhile the combats start to feel same-y #because even if the monster is different. you never have to do anything different to defeat it #ofc this is a subjective assessment and also if youre reading this and we play dnd together this is not a gripe abt our table i love u #i think it's really easy to get trapped doing this esp in tables which like rp more than combat #because its also like. once you're used to a certain balance of combat if your dm suddenly threw you a big one #you assume that this is a uniquely large threat in the narrative as well (rather than a rebalancing attempt)#and treat it accordingly. which is to say with way too much caution because it isnt actually that big of a threat #so then as a dm when you have to maintain the feeling of threat and the mechanical threat #(especially when sometimes the mechanical line between 'cakewalk' and 'tpk' is razor thin #and is more about the initiative order and luck than anything else)#you start to prioritize the feeling of threat. which is imo the right call always #but its just after awhile when you feel the threat but nothing ever happens to anybody. the dissonance starts to affect the table #also balancing dnd combat as a dm is really hard and often requires a LOT of on the fly adaptation #because sometimes the CR is useless and you don't know how it's gonna do until the dice are on the table already #anyway. my point is that im enjoying how ironsworn handles this problem

AvA6 EP1 SPOILERS

Alright peeps I'm joining in this chaos and you should all fear me This post has no plan or path this is just a ramble analysis of things I notice in the new episode so :D

Ok so like first off guys- maybe like- don't fire your glitch weapons in the middle of a crowded city?? This seems like a bad idea?? You guys are worse than the Avengers when it comes to collateral damage smh

Ok but Chosen stopping mid-chase to save that civilian by destroying the debris really goes to show how he's improved as a character, this guy went from destroying Alan's PC, to rampaging various sites with Dark, and now to this. Glad to see him as a proper hero now :D

I'm happy to see the ice powers coming back cuz after that one time he froze the Firefox I thought they just forgot about it lol

Chosen is Zeus now Also he just like creates a glacier 2 seconds later cool

Also quick shoutout to Alan's Desktop organization He has come a long way

I find it funny how much everyone focused on this clip in the trailer especially, like "Oh no does Orange get mad at Alan again?? Is this related to Vic???" and the reality of it is "lol wanna fight me guys?" "Sure sounds fun :D" Alan you have bamboozled us again

I find this moment rather interesting So after Alan pulls up the thingy and sends them all flying then crashing down, Red appears to be acting like they hurt their head and Yellow notices and crawls over to see if they're ok (Awwwijascsdhljw) but as soon as they do Red just punches em?? However then Yellow puts their hands up in a way almost to be like "whoa whoa it's just me" and then Red accepts the comfort. Idk I just find it interesting, like Red is still in fight-mode after the sparring match and doesn't quite register that it's Yellow touching them at first XD

Chosen: "COME ON DO IT, DO THE EYE THING" Orange: "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IDK HOW TO DO THAT" Chosen: "YES YOU DO JUST DO IT, LIKE THIS:" Orange: "AAAAAAAAA" *Tries to do laser-eyes with every ounce of focus they have*

Red: "uhhh are they ok-" Green: "Maybe you should stop them?" Blue: "yeahhh maybe-" Yellow: "Hmm, yes. Interesting"

Aight but like where did this guy (Btw I'll call him Striker cuz that name was going around and it's cool) get this stuff? Has their group attacked a Desktop before and managed to steal enough UI to make this guy OP? Cuz he uses a lot of really crazy stuff during this fight and I can't help but wonder what poor animator woke up just to find the entire UI on their software missing lol

I love how Chosen really just pulls the "Throw the kid in the pool to teach them how to swim" on Orange and his powers here lol Then to Chosen's surprise it does not work "Aw shoot the kid is drowning now I gotta save them smh"

YEAHHHH ART POWERS Ok but actually though I find it interesting how differently the Pencil tool works outside a Desktop, like usually Orange like speed-draws the whole entire thing but out here it's like Ah yes, line scribble = E e l I mean it actually kinda makes sense, in the 3D world it'd be really difficult to draw anything really so the Pen just changes function a bit based on the environment

Poor Green does not enjoy climbing it seems :(

This guy can forever one-up everything "Ok but have you beat up a shark with your bare hands and won?

Ok but this guy's style is just like tribal or primitive and it's honestly pretty cool I have no clue what to call them though so that's up to the rest of the fandom to decide ':D

Also someone else on a different site suggested the name "Warnman" for this guy cuz he looks like the typical hazard sign guy who's always showing the dreadful things that will happen if you don't obey the sign and I think the name fits so Warnman is honestly my favorite of these guys just cuz of how wacky they are lol

Also this guy has to be like Anime Stick or something I do not understand this dude at all but they're sick

Let it be known that Warnman is canonically 2D

Dude how much charge do those electro-bullets hold if that thing is STILL zapping Chosen This poor guy Also the way Striker fights throughout this whole scene is so cool

I find it interesting and I think Alan pointed out in the reaction video (really funny btw you should go watch that too) That Striker is totally just messing with them before that, like sure he probably has to be close to the target to use the Pause attack but I like to think he was enjoying the fight before that and is only just doing it now cuz he's bored lol

Aight so the Rocket Group is the one hunting Chosen I wanna know though- why Chosen specifically? Are they just after all Hollowheads with the powers or is it just Chosen they want? Maybe they're after all of them but Chosen is the only one with a super known presence? Also who are these guys?? They seem to be just some independent group but do they hold any sort of actual authority over Stick City? Man I have so many questions

How do you pause fire-? Does it still burn? I assume not cuz I think it woulda burned the guys bringing him by now Man that's wacky but cool Also another question here is like, is that white box a containment unit or some sort of display case? I'm thinking more along the lines of containment but like he's already paused and they left the door open I think??

Aight now we're getting to the theory-fuel Why are they studying all this UI? Where'd they get this UI? Why do all these sticks look exactly the same??? Like I get that it's just supposed to represent a large group of workers and stuff but they are all exactly the same shade-

A h a A h a a a . . . VICTIM???? VIC MY GUY WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?? LIKE I GET YOU'RE PROBABLY MAD AT ALAN LIKE KILLING YOU AND ALL BUT WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH CHOSEN AND EVERYONE?? I have many questions Also I am wondering if all the UI decor in his office is just art or what, are they trophies maybe? They probably had to get the UI for Striker's setup somewhere, did they raid Desktops before? Are those trophies from animators he's beaten? Man Idk but this is so interesting My final take on the episode: AAAAAAAAAAAAAA LET'S GOOO AvA 6 HYPEEE :D
