Fanfic trope help needed
One thing that pisses me the fuck off is that the TV tropes names don’t match the Ao3/Fanfiction names for some really common tropes.
This makes it very difficult to find stories with those tropes on Ao3.
For example: Friends to Lovers on Ao3 is called Relationship Upgrade on TV Tropes.
What is the Ao3 version of the Good Samaritan tv trope?
you know, where someone is severely injured and left on the side of the road/in the middle of the forest/on the bank of a river, and a stranger finds them and takes them back to their cottage in the woods and nurses them back to health?
and this is in the olden days or in a fantasy setting, so recovery is slow, and the injured person ends up staying with the stranger for weeks to months, and at some point they realize that the stranger lives alone and they gave up their bed for the injured person, and slowly they develop a friendship or romantic relationship?
and sometimes there’s a language or cultural barrier or the injured person lost their memories, so there’s an additional layer of “You are not only healing me, but you are teaching me your way of life/language/what it means to be a person/how to function on my own”?

Sometimes when i'm in a half-asleep-kinda-dreaming-but-still-self-aware-to-an-extent state, my brain will string together random ass words to make phrases with varying degrees of cohesion
This morning it was specifically a news headline for some reason (i don't read the news) that said, "Using Lesbians in the Economy Has Had Staggering Effects"
And i'm like???? How does one "use lesbians in the economy"?? And what the fuck are "staggering effects“?? Are the effects good??? Do we need to stop using lesbians in the economy???

1 : 4 = x : 248

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method
